@ my last post on this au, which I'll call The Three's Dads for now. Here's more on Ashfur and Jayfeather's relationship

It's unrealistic to assume Ashfur would be,, completely cooperative with this. He'd definitely have beef (AGAIN) with Lionblaze as an entire entity and I think he'd just be very awkward with Hollykit (specified as Hollykit cause their relationship would change, for better or worse, as she gets older) BUT I think he'd be very protective of Jaykit, and when Jaypaw's like I want to be a warrior, and the clans like 'ehhh' Ashfur would go "Yeah, there's no way I'm raising a pussy, I'LL mentor him." Firestar goes ":/ sure" cause he wanted to give Lionpaw to Ashfur cause he's clearly losing it, but whatever.

I think he'd do a pretty decent job. Brightheart is his sister-in-law, so I think she'd be comfortable to offer help and know he'd accept, which he definitely would. As proud as he is, he wouldn't know how to quite work around Jaypaw's disability, while Brightheart would have a better idea. Ashfur would be very proud of Jaypaw, I think he'd boast about him a lot, and he'd also be a big influence of Jaypaw's sass and sarcasm.

I think they'd be close, and Jaypaw would also teach him kinda how to open up and be less insecure because they both struggle a lot with that.

The only one that could possibly be canon to Ink is Swap if we take into consideration the canceled comic Comyet did a long while back! And the art Comyet has done with Ink and Error I'm 99% sure is just a what-if, not canon interpretation on how they think they possibly would interact together

Everytime I see someone with their full chest exclaim how the dream twins or Error are canon to ink I internally die inside I'm sorry

I used the Wayback Machine to see what the Far Cry 5 official websites looked like from 2017 to 2020 and find out if that’s where the character information sheets posted on the Playasia Blog (here) were from. I’m talking about these:

So I can confirm the images above do NOT come from the official websites. Although they look like they were made by Ubisoft, it seems they weren’t.

But during my research, I did find official character descriptions! There are several versions depending on which page/article you are reading, which website (Far Cry or Far Cry 5) you are on, and which region (America or Europe, basically) you select. Some of the descriptions have even changed over time!

Since the old websites don’t exist anymore and most of that content was deleted (but not really, thanks to the Internet Archive), I’m going to post what I’ve gathered here :)

headcanon about jellylorum and a couple of humans

Jellylorum and her relationship with her human, Anne

Jellylorum wouldn’t be alive today if Anne didn’t save her. Jellylorum was sick one day, and walked across the street. However, she grew too weak and fell just as the light had change. Anne without hesitation, ran into the middle of the street and picked the sick cat up into her arms. Jellylorum faintly recalls a human man cursing at the human woman.

Jellylorum was in and out of consciousness when sick. She recalls the human tending to her fever with a wet cool washcloth, and the human sleeping in the nearby chair.

After recovering, Jellylorum made visits to Anne’s place, sometimes staying for hours before leaving. Anne slowly over time brought cat supplies and proper cat food, before finally buying a woven collar. Jellylorum loves her collar; it’s very comfortable to wear.

Jellylorum thinks the name Anne given her is cute.  It’s not a true sensible name, but considering her Particular Name, it works.

From Anne's Perspective

Anne would very much like Apricot to be an indoor cat, but knows that’s impossible due to Apricot’s supernatural nature. Anne just makes sure Apricot never loses her collar, keeps her vaccinated, and has plenty of photos ready to make missing posters.

Anne figures out that the tom cat that visits Apricot is her brother; Anne nicknamed him Artichoke (Artie for short). Anne as such whenever at home sets an extra bowl of food and water for him, and leaves him be with Apricot, rarely interacting with him.

(Bonus Headcanon: Jellylorum thinks it's sweet of Anne to prepare for an unexpected guest. Jellylorum also teases her brother for another vegetable human given name, thinking it’s his destiny.)

Because Jellylorum thinks Anne as a part of her family, Jellylorum thinks Thomas as family too. As such, Jellylorum calls Thomas ‘Tommy’.

Jellylorum thinks Tommy as a quiet human; very much similar to her brother in that regard. Jellylorum seen plenty of times how Anne is talkative of the two siblings, best shown when they have the occasional dinner together. Anne will be chatting about her day, while Tommy listens; he speaks very little about his day.

Jellylorum heard Tommy sing before, and thinks he has a lovely voice. Jellylorum first heard Tommy sing when Anne was on holiday and tasked Tommy to check up on Jellylorum. Tommy was playing with Jellylorum when he began singing a rather unknown Petula Clark song, “I Would Have Given You More” which she likes a lot. Since then, Jellylorum occasionally hears Tommy sing; Jellylorum won’t deny she imagine the impossible of Tommy singing her parents’ song, In Una Tepida Notte.

Jellylorum has no idea Tommy knows her dad. She heard from her Dad about a human name Thomas who he sees, and well, Thomas is a common name, after all. Needless to say, the Jellicle Ball certainly revealed this fact to her (in a good way).

Post-Canon, on the nights they can talk and understand one another, Jellylorum allows Tommy call her by her Particular Name whenever Anne isn’t around. Sometimes the two will sing a duet together, which she enjoys very much.

re:hbomberguy, on the topic of citing sources, i want to say:

it is insane how many people on here don't even click the sources op links on their own post to learn more and just hit reblog saying "oh my i didn't know about this thank you for teaching me!". like guys CLICK THE LINK!! CHECK THE NOTES!!! CHECK THE SOURCE!.... i swear half the time the link is dead or takes you to a nonsense page (i see this a lot with art specifically???? and excerpts from magazines??) and some times the linked source disproves a claim the very post that linked it made and people just. don't bother to check, no one bothers to even reblog saying "hey that link is dead! here's a new, working link!" or "hey that link doesn't work, can you link the source again?" and when it comes to misinformation people just share without checking or looking at the notes where numerous people will (in the best case scenario) already be pointing out the misinformation

"OH BUT I CAN'T CHECK EVERYTHING I SEE ON THE INTERNET" there is a surefire way to prevent spreading this kind of stuff even if you don't have the time to fact check immediately. just accept it's fine to save a post for later if you can't look deeper into it right now!!!!! literally just reblog it in private or save the post as a draft so you can come back to it later and check. it won't kill you and in fact it will actually make your life a lot better lol

Do you happen to know where you can get high quality resolution prints of some of SP illustrations? I've been dying for a copy of "What a lovely thing a rose is."

honestly not really? a lot of the uh. 'Art Print' stores online just scrape from wikimedia and pinterest and the oroboros loop of Other art print stores so theyre usually not any better quality than what you find there (if not significantly worse even) and theyre pretty scummy as companies so theyre really not worht giving your money to. And then these are also mostly illustrations that were printed pretty small in a magazine so even high quality scans are not easy to scale up.

That said, 'what a lovely thing a rose is' IS in pretty good quality on wikimedia so you could probably get that printed yourself? That's where i sourced most of the images for the bracket as well, and ones that are missing or poor quality there i tried to find in copies of the actual books or magazines on archive.org which is usually the next best option

gotta say the resident evil wiki is possibly the most useless thing and it’s so frustrating when it comes to the lesser easily accessed games (at least what’s easily accessed for me) i want to check ONE thing but it’s so chock full of just wrong info and there’s not a single reference/citation on half the stuff like. this may as well all be straight made up!

all i'm saying is the only reason the asoiaf wiki describes aegon as charismatic and commanding is because it's taken from a description of aegon's appearance given by grrm to an artist commissioned to draw portraits of the targ kings idk about you but i know a lot of people that look like they know Things but it turns out they've got the equivalent of an 8bit cover of yankee doodle on loop in their head

It's fascinating that most of the GG lore points that people talk about like they're canon are either memes that broke containment or mistranslations. Like Ky swapping eyeballs with Sin or Johnny's last name being "Sfondi" haha
