I love your blog, although (please correct me if I’m wrong) there’s one thing that doesn’t get enough coverage as it should (in my opinion at least). And it’s name is Q. When Dazai and Chuuya were getting Q out of that guild shed and Dazai holds a knife to their throat, Chuuya says something about how Q killed a whole bunch of mafiosi (I think it were around hundred? Idk) with their ability. Which is just, so messed up if you think about it. There’s this eight year old child, with an ability that makes people go haywire, but only if those people hurt said child(if I understood it correctly). That not only means those mafiosi were hurting an eight year old, but it also means that both, Chuuya and Dazai blame it on the child. And to top that off, as a punishment, Dazai locks this child up.
Anyway, I hope you have a nice day/night!
You’re right you’re so right and you should say it.
Q suffered so much and doesn’t deserve any of it.
The way the BSD universe treats ability users is something I really, really want to analyze and discuss. People are locked into whatever their ability sets out for them—for other characters like Yosano, this means that having a healing ability means you have to be a doctor, regardless of any other passions you have in life. For Q, having a mind control ability locked them into being a danger that needs to be locked away, even prior to displaying any dangerous tendencies.
iirc, in the 15 light novel, Mori says that he took in Q after Q’s ability was activated and it ended up harming another child. If Q was any other child who harmed another child in a different way (for example, a child punches another child too hard on the playground), the child would be lectured or sent to the school guidance counselor to learn a better way to control their anger. However, since Q is an ability user, they’re seen as a permanent threat for the way their ability manifested itself, and will be treated as such for the rest of their life.
The BSD world clearly doesn’t provide any ability training, or have any form of counseling for people who manifest “dangerous” abilities and need a bit of help managing them.
Although it’s horrible that Q was hurt so much and so badly, I don’t particularly fault anyone for hurting him (I guess other than Mori/Dazai for locking them away), since no one had any way of knowing they were doing it. I also can’t really fault Chuuya for being angry that his friends were killed. But regardless— Q suffered so much and deserves so much better.
[One quick point to touch on is that the mafiosi who died didn’t necessarily hurt Q, but rather could have been killed by the people affected by Q’s ability. We don’t see what happened in detail so it’s all left up to speculation, but the mafia would most likely avoid killing their own, even if “their own” is under a mind control ability which makes them violent.
As we see with the agency’s side of things, when Kunikida is under Q’s ability, the agency is able to keep him tied up pretty easily to stop him from hurting anyone. Surely the mafia has ways to detain their own members if they were to be affected as well. So with that in mind, the deaths were more likely caused by other people under Q’s ability attacking the mafiosi, and not mafiosi under Q’s ability getting themselves killed or needing to be put down.]
Either way.
Justice for Q, I want my little guy(gender neutral) to do well in life. Someone should buy them ice cream.

Not planned...at all
Cassian x reader
Azriel x OC!reader'scousin
Short Summary: Two girls, cousins, somehow find themselves inside a slightly modified version of their favorite book saga ACOTAR. What will happen to them, things have changed and not just their situation but themselves...are those pointy ears they now have?
Tumblr media
Long Summary: Leonor and Roxanne had only planned their usual afternoon, reading fanfics on the floor of Nell's room and chatting about their favorite love interests. Doing weird hairstyles and screaming the lyrics to various Nickelback songs was on the schedule but nighttime they both learn a very valuable lesson. Don't go looking too deep into the internet!
Roxy and Nell both pay the price when finding themselves in the middle of...nowhere? That is until they walk through the snow for a bit and notice that they are now direct spectators of the very scene they'd been about to read!
Chapter 1
Growing up and moving out had never stopped two good cousins from acting like kids and sharing a flat for their studies certainly wasn't gonna stop Roxanne or Leonor from having sleepovers in each other's room.
Tonight was Nell's turn. The plan was simple! Celebrate the ending of second term globals with weird ass skincare products they'd never even touched before, blast music low enough for no neighbors to come complaining, and mix up sweets and energy drinks while devouring sour candy and Takis.
Nothing new or out of the ordinary, most time these sleepovers didn't involve as much food but today was special. Roxanne had gotten second place in a large judo tournament that took place in their city, the black long haired girl was almost vibrating with excitement at the news so of course her older cousin and roommate had taken it upon herself to make tonight specially fun.
"We could've got drinks?!"
Nell was snapped out of her intense focus by Roxy's words, it's true Roxanne's 18 and she's 19 going on 20 in less than two months. Feeling up to a teasing mood Nell pulled unnecessary hard on Roxanne's pitch black long straight hair with a smirk as she continued the intricate hairstyle she'd been working on for the past hour, this was their second attempt at perfecting.
"What's up with the comment? Are you feeling alcoholic young lady?! Meh didn't feel like buying that, energy drinks are more of a rush and it did feel kind of depressing to think of us both having a pijama party just to drink wine like old widowed wives."
Roxanne didn't really react to hair pulling, I mean the woman could put down a fully grown man without any weapons it was to be expected that she didn't feel bothered by Nell's petty hair pulling. She did hum in agreement with Leonor when hearing her reasoning and chugged another drink at her glass.
"How much left? Not that you're pulling too harshly but my neck feels sore in this position"
"Give me five more minutes, I like your hair, this type of stuff can't really be done on my hair! Or at least I can't manage on myself unless I spend a full hour untangling this bird nest"
Nell complained referring to her thick brown curls that were struggling to pull out under their containment from the hair claw she had on.
It wouldn't usually click to people, that she and Roxy were actually cousins at least not until they saw them interact with one another.
Roxanne was the absolute definition of a black cat type of girl, with her straight black hair and resting bitch face no one would expect to see her running into Leonor's arms for a hug to celebrate her victory. She loved dressing in black and wouldn't think twice before pulverizing someone's ego if she deemed it necessary. Standing on 1'64 meters she could somehow still manage to look down on anyone twice her size with her icy blue eyes.
Leonor on the other hand was usually all smiles and apologies, almost like a reflex at this point.

Ben gives Gwil a kiss, and then waves at the others. “Have fun! Don’t break anything.”
“He’s talking to you,” Gwil says, pointing at Joe.
“Why aren’t you coming?” Sami asks.
“Ben doesn’t like skiing,” Rami says.
“Why not?” Sami asks.
“I…” Ben shrugs, and laughs softly. “I just…don’t.”
“What are you gonna do all day then?” Sami asks.
“Sit in the lodge and drink hot cocoa,” Ben says.
“No! You have to come!”
“Ben doesn’t have to go skiing if he doesn’t want to, habibi,” Rami says, fixing Sami’s jacket.
“But I want him to,” Sami says.
“I don’t know how,” Ben says. “You’ll have more fun with your parents, without me slowing you down.”
“They can teach you,” Sami says.
“Yes, love,” Gwil says with a cheeky wink. “They can teach you.”
“I…” Ben swallows hard, and nods. It’s always been hard to tell Sami no. Since birth, even before he was old enough to ask for things. But Ben was really looking forward to his hot cocoa. He looks at Rami and Joe— Rami, of course, has his you don’t have to give in face on. Joe, of course, has on his you damn well better do it face. “How about a couple hours this morning,” he says finally, giving in.
“Yes!” Sami hops up and down, doing his karate chops as he cheers, and Ben smiles at Rami, already tired.
“Let me go grab my stuff.”
They wait for Ben to come back with his snow gear on, and Joe pats Ben on the back. “You’re a nice uncle.”
“Yeah, yeah.”
They shuffle outside, and Gwil kisses Ben. “Have fun.”
“Will do.”
Gwil and Joe head off to what Joe calls the big boy hill, leaving Rami, Ben, and Sami at the bunny hill where there’s instructors ready to go (tomorrow, Rami will take the big hill, and Joe will stick to the bunny).
“You don’t have to,” Rami murmurs, and Ben reaches up to adjust his hat.
“Yeah, I kind of do.” Ben looks around and sighs, and then grins at Sami. “Ready?”
“They teach,” Sami says, pointing at one of the instructors.
“They do,” Rami says. “Ready?” Sami nods eagerly, so Rami leads Sami over to one of the instructors. They get Sami set up on his skis, and help him up one of the tiniest, littlest hills that Ben’s ever seen. It looks more like they just shovelled a pile of snow.
Rami, of course, takes out his mobile to proudly snap photos of Sami as he goes down the little snow pile. Ben grins and claps for him, and Sami’s eager to go up and down over and over.
Then it’s time to bump Sami up to an actual hill. Though not the whole way up, maybe like a quarter. Maybe less.
“You going up?” Rami asks Ben.
“I think he needs emotional support down here,” Ben says. “He needs someone to look at!”
“Okay.” Rami gets his skis and goes up the hill with Sami, and slowly goes down behind Sami, who’s going even slower. Like a snail’s pace. Then he speeds up some and starts wailing, so Ben hurries forward, ready to get him.
Sami whines as he comes to a stop at the bottom, and he drops down on his bum.
“Are you alright?” Ben asks. “What’s going on?”
“I went too fast,” Sami says, looking up at him.
“Yeah,” Ben says. “You’ve seen Papa ski, he goes really fast.”
“I don’t like it.”
“Oh.” Ben looks over as Rami comes to a stop. “You don’t want to try it again?”
“What, you didn’t like it?” Rami asks.
“It was fast.”
“It’s downhill, habibi,” Rami says.
“Is there no downhill?”
“What do you mean?” Rami asks.
“Can I ski not downhill?”
“Today we’re skiing on the hill,” Rami says.
Sami pouts, and his bottom lip wobbles, and he looks so, so sad. He looks at Ben, and then he looks back at Rami, poking him in the foot. He mumbles something, and Rami crouches down by him.
“What was that?” Rami asks, brushing some snow off Sami’s sleeve.
“I said, I’ll go again if Ben goes.”
Rami grins, and looks up at Ben. But then he puts on his serious face and looks back at Sami. “We don’t guilt people, habibi. If Ben doesn’t want to ski, he doesn’t have to.”
Oh, god. Ben shakes his head, but he already knows he’s going to say yes. He’s gonna do it. He can’t let Sami give up yet. “I can go down.”
“Really?” Sami hurries to his feet— or tries to, anyway, it’s a bit difficult with his skis on. He wobbles and grabs onto Rami. “Okay! I’ll go again!”
“Thank you,” Rami says, and Ben waves him off. Least he can do. Ben gets his skis on, and the three of them go up the hill together; again, not very far. But Rami goes down first, then Sami, and Ben follows behind him.
“You know how?” Sami asks. “You skied!”
“Just a little,” Ben says. “I’m not very good.” He’d gone on a handful of school trips when he was younger, Joe’s dragged him out before. That’s about the limit of his ability. It’s good enough for Sami, apparently.
“We’ll go again now,” Sami says, and Ben and Rami don’t even protest because they know there’s no other option.
After that, Sami has so much fun going up and down his little hill, they lose track of time for the rest of the morning until Gwil and Joe come find them.
“Papa, I skied!” Sami throws his arms up in the air and tries hopping towards him but he stumbles on the skis.
“Wow! That’s so cool!” Joe exclaims. “Baba?”
“We have photos,” Rami says.
“Love that,” Joe says.
“I’m surprised to see you still out here,” Gwil says, nudging Ben. “I think it’s a time for a lunch break.”
“Thank god,” Ben murmurs. They take off their skis, and make their way back to the lodge.
Gwil catches up with Rami and Sami, listening to all of Sami’s exciting stories.
“Did you have fun?” Joe asks, slinging his arm around Ben.
“I am tired as shit,” Ben says.
“And?”
Ben playfully rolls his eyes and sighs. “Yeah, yeah. It was…fun.”
Joe laughs loudly. “You don’t have to make it sound so awful.”
“It was good,” Ben says, glancing back at Rami and Sami. “They’re awesome.”
“I’ll get you your hot chocolate.”
“The biggest fucking one they have.”
Joe laughs again. “Deal.”

Okay, now I get it. He's tall (too tall imo (he's seven feet tall but his height is never compared to anyone else's so I don't know if he's a freak of nature or what)), physically and socially powerful, passionate without selfishness, protective, honorable, and has a hidden artistic side. He has a temper but would never violate a woman or an oath. And he's madly in love, soft (and hard heheh) only for her. He's about as perfect a man as one could enjoy reading about. She's been mostly unloved and unappreciated her entire life. She's stubborn and adventurous and has a fearful power about her that she must keep controlled, but she's also kind and witty, observant with a bit of that "born sexy yesterday" in her. Ultimately, she can be projected onto.
The story got more interesting after the first third (which I believe was rushed to get to "the good part", in the sense that I would've wanted the story to start earlier and flesh the world out more) and has even become somewhat enjoyable around the halfway point. It's about 60/40 romance/plot, which I suppose isn't too bad, but we'll see if the plot bit holds up (really hope something's building here). [edit, ~70%: FINALLY. I didn't guess correctly but I knew something was up. Hoping (in vain, I'm sure) there's more subterfuge n political drama.]
Wonder if my mild hostility to romance comes from not daring to hope that I could experience something like that. ... Hm. Not gonna think about that anymore bc if true then my mother was right several years ago and that would make me go berserk :)
Granted there are things about this particular romance that are weird. But I'm getting through it.
In other news, the Justice League series finale was so good. I've gone back in to JLU just before I'd left off and UGH I should've just started from BTAS to begin with, everything makes so much more sense and the beats hit harder.
Made turkey stroganoff and it was just as amazing as when I made it for the first time last year. So simple, so flavorful. Every day I look forward to dinner :D
I think the most difficult part of learning how to code from scratch this semester is going to be getting over the activation energy to start projects with trial and error rather than sitting around thinking through the perfect solution without actually trying anything. We shall see. I just really want to learn how to think about code in style. I don't want to be intimidated by it anymore. I think I should be good at it. I've generally been adept at breaking down and solving mathematical word problems. I can do this, I can.
Today I'm thankful for the snow!!!!! Woke up to a winter wonderland, walked through it in my cute lil 'fit!!!
forgot how much of a slut i am for i adore epic music actually,, this stuff bangs,,,, likeeee the city must survive @ 1:42 ?!?!?!?! what a THEME (discovered it last year and it nourishes my soul) strings and brass will do it for me every time. every. single. time.

alma/karma crimson snow banquet card summary ch. 1-5 liveblog style (take a lot of this with a grain of salt kaku is Struggling today
ch. 1 - opens with the banquet starting and alma and my boy went HAM on the roast beef. emma is ENAMORED with how much he ate in like 5 minutes of the buffet starting im in love really. emma starts reflecting back on when they were assigned the mission to find the culprit behind the attacks on people. while they discuss it, alma says something along the lines of "when we find the culprit, i'll have a talk with them to find out why they did it", his usual "ill reform them" talk.
HE SUDDENLY GETS CLOSE TO EMMA AND IF IM READING RIGHT STROKES HER HAIR? it was in an attempt to get her to relax but :sob: goodness boy. i think he complimented her clothes as well and mentioned he has a hard time figuring whats good and whats not, and he ended up happy emma was smiling
they get back on the topic of what he mentioned before (reforming them) and the chapter ends as he saIM SORRY. LOST MY TRIAN OF THOUGHT. I LEFT MY PHONE OPEN TO CH. 2 AND IT OPENED WITH .A NOISE .
ch. 2 - ANYWAY
OH. OH MY GOD. CONTEXT DIDNT MAKE IT ANY BETTER. IM ASSUMING IT OPENED ON HIM DRUNK AND LAYING IN BED AND HE HUGGED EMMA FROM BEHIND WHILE GOING "Heeey, Emmaaa~" NEAR HER EAR (EMMAS NAME BEING REPLACED WITH PLAYER NAME OBV)
i was right he did get drunk and he pretty much dragged emma into the guest bedroom with him. mentioning going to bed and emmas trying to get him to at least take his coat off and shower and i believe he gets it confused with a confession
while emmas trying to get him to take stuff seriously, i think hes already fallen asleep and starts talking about food (?), and i think dialogue suggests he pretty much conked out the moment he flopped onto the bed.
he starts talking about a good smellDID HE JUST SNIFF EMMA?????????WHERE AM I. OH MY GOD!HE SNIFFED THE NAPE OF HER NECK!!!IM GONNA FUCKING DIE!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!KARMA!!!!!!!HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!
OH THANK FUCK KARMA WA SLIKE "the hell are you Doing ." AND TOLD EMMA TO MIND HER DISTANCE HELP MEEEEEE. emma thanks karma for saving her from that situation (ME TOO. ME TOO!!) and they do the explanation that alma has DID/karma is an alter they did in the event story, emma goes "oh is this a chance for us to talk?"
picking "it's been a while" causes karma to comment that he hasnt fronted near emma in a while, she asks why hes out now since he only fronts if he has something to do, and he very grouchily says "I don't feel the need to answer that. Did I not tell you before to refrain from prying into my business?" and he reminds her they came to the castle to investigate, not have pointless conversations/overindulge. emma says she doesnt think her talk with karma is pointless, surprising him. after a moment karma ends up talking back to emma commenting on the fact she carelessly let herself end up alone in a room with a man and she runs out of the room primarily because she finds it difficult to actually Talk to karma
ch. 3 - after what i think was consdiered an unsuccessful attempt to talk to karma, alma returns (NO LONGER DRUNK.) he apologizes for having emma need to help him
alma ends up playfighting (?) with emma where she asks "whats with the sudden self defense practice" and he tells her she was making a face like something was caught in her throat and some moving around would refresh her. he ends up going a bit too far and nearly topples emma over, where he catches her midfall (and he comments on how light she is only for her to comment "no youre just Really Strong")
ch. 4 - they go back to looking for the culprit of the attacks
they stop to look at paintings, and i believe they ran into a painting of the flowers cinis mentioned in the event story (originally white, they turn red and are part of a "ritual" meant to strengthen a bond between two people)
WHILE THEYRE TALKING ABOUT KARMA ALMA JUST GOES "hey. can i hug you?" WITH A SERIOUS FACE. THIS MAN..
he comments saying he suddenly thought about wanting to take good care of emma hawbhsbdg
ch. 5 - they start talking, more specifically trying to figure out how to talk to karma without driving him away, especially since apparently alma was pretty close to rolling over on top of emma and crushing her. he tells her she shouldve just left him there, since its common for the houndsweepers to be left alone when theyre dead drunk
while they're talking in a hall, cinis finds the both of them and brings them out to the balcony to see the red snowfall. cinis comments on the ritual for "Vow of love". after they both take a moment VAMPIRE ATTACK!!!!cloud of BATS!!!!!!!yeah

5/24/23
4AM again. Something always distracts me around these hours. Usually creative stuff. And I just go into that trance-like state, The Zone...
No complaints on that today, I decided to do another abstract ink drawing. It's been a while since I've done one. I'm not really minding this rotation from skull to ink drawing to beads. It works for me.
I strung the yellow beads onto the original hemp string I had reserved for them, but it's too short. I'm gonna prep another one tomorrow. But I also ran into another issue... the beads are kinda... tacky. Like...not like aesthetically tacky, I'm sure someone will like them... but like... physically tacky. Like... sticky. And I know it's the Mod Podge. So... I gotta figure out what to do about that, because that's gonna be a hard sell and doesn't really make me look good. I'll do some research tomorrow.
I woke up to a super vivid image today. It was just a dog's face, staring directly into my eyes, big pupils, big grin. And it was very dreamlike. If you've ever done acid... well, I only did once, but I remember vividly that peoples' faces started to look really cartoonish and... almost clown-like. It was very memorable, very unique and distinct, and this distortion of features felt very similar to that. And I'm like 90% sure it was my dog. And that was really tough. A year ago, this was the last... two weeks of her life. It still blows my mind that it's been an entire year. I still haven't adjusted. I feel bad because like... so much of my journal here has been talking about my cat. And I love her very much too, don't get me wrong. But I feel like my cat getting sick and dying kinda... I haven't given my dog's memory enough attention. And I miss the fuck out of her. My lock screen on my phone is still this picture I took when I was at the retreat place trying to get off of meds... and we were out in the driveway walking in the snow, and our footprint paths crossed, and I took a picture of that. My skate shoe imprints and her paw prints.
Again... it's that... I wish I could be nostalgic. I haven't looked backwards in time nostalgically in so long. In fact, I met someone on here a while back that was like... all about nostalgia. Which I envied, honestly. For the better half of a decade, I haven't really been able to look backwards in time without this deep feeling of dread and doom and shame cropping up. I can barely look through my photos on my phone. It's tough. And... I think it's just emotional overload. It started once I got off of meds. I think I just got really used to living without emotions, or with deeply subdued emotions... and then I had to completely re-learn how to be a sensitive person again. I don't know, it's my best theory so far.
So yeah, I don't want to dwell on grieving too much tonight. I will be doing plenty next week. I just wanted to bring that up because it was really resonant, to start your day with such a vividly powerful spirit staring you directly in the eyes. It was literally the second I woke up, like... I have really bad eyesight, and this like... static overlay on my vision... so like... when I woke up it was just this insanely vivid dog staring me in the eyes and then my eyes opened and there was the blurry fuzzy backdrop of the wood ceiling and windows with the afterimage of this dog over it and it faded. Like afterimages from looking at a light or something. It was really surreal, a very powerful moment to start the day with.
I was planning on doing groceries today, but I fucked around on Risk of Rain 2 while eating breakfast for too long and I missed the delivery window. I am still kinda kicking myself over that, but I have the delivery placed for tomorrow afternoon, so I'll just do it then. All's well that ends well. I put basil and green bean seeds on the shopping list, no clue if they'll actually get them, but it'd be chill if they did.
My plants are doing really well. My tomato is huge, almost a foot and a half tall now. The chili isn't that far behind. My philodendrons are finally starting to grow roots, and some are coming in pretty quick. The transplanted moss is in the terracotta Zen garden thing, and it's doing fine.
I got some granola and yogurt for breakfast and thawed some frozen mixed berries to have with it in the sun on the windowsill. When I finally bit into one of the blackberries, I got a mouthful of seeds. And I was just like... "oh... this gives me a very interesting idea." I know I've run across blackberries in the wild before, and they're very tasty. I know they live in my climate, and they grow like weeds. I was curious if the seeds could survive being frozen. And I searched online, and not only can blackberry seeds survive being frozen, they actually require being frozen and thawed to trigger germination. So... I spent a good chunk of the morning spitting seeds into a jar. I took the plastic grubhub container that had the moss growing in it, I poked some drainage holes and added a layer of potting soil. I put about half the seeds in there, and soaked the other half in water overnight - because some sites were suggesting soaking, some weren't. So... I guess we'll see if that turns into anything! If it does work, I likely won't get any fruit this year, but it's an investment in the future, you know?
I've got a nice little garden coming along here. :)
And... I think that's pretty much it.
OH. I was going to do a Tarot reading today. God, I keep forgetting shit lately. -_- Might as well do that now. I kinda fell out of the habit, but I honestly would really like to have that in my arsenal of things to offer people. Let's give it a whirl.
The question I'm asking is... "where am I going with my social life?" I'm doing a 3-card spread. The first position - Past - is: VIII - Strength, upright. (Overcoming fear, mastery of emotions through equilibrium and inner strength) The second position - Present - is: Page of Swords, inverted. (Childlike awe and wonder, epiphany. Encountering wisdom but unable to process it.  Keen intellect, strong will, but lacks context and experience.) The third position - Future - is: XVIII - The Moon, upright. (Fluctuation, change.  Ambiguity, inability to clearly distinguish things.  Easy to misperceive objects or intentions. Easy to lose your step and be deceived.)
So... not all good news, but very helpful all-in-all. Let me try to stitch this together. So... in the Past... I had relied on my composure, my control of my emotions, in social endeavors - either through naïve bravery, a self-imposed "I'm cool, I don't care" attitude, or benzodiazepines. Often a mixture of several.
And, following that thread to Present... I hit disfunction... chaos... through deep realizations and insights, through my pursuit of knowledge and inspiration. Which is very true. My social life completely fell apart when I was swan-diving into the abyss of the Unconscious and deeply struggled to process or apply what I was discovering, and when I reached out for support socially... it destroyed my social network outright.
And... following that thread to the potential Future... change is coming. A-doyyy. Change is always coming... But Moon-change can be... reality bending, in my experience. Dream-like, surreal. So... this feels... cautionary. Maybe I'm being anxious? Maybe this is illuminating exactly what my anxieties are? I am very cautious of misperceiving situations or misreading people who do not mean me well, as in... assuming the best of those who mean me harm. I have been destroyed by that in the past several times, and Strength had me bullheadedly just look right past it, or try to "suck it up" and "be a good guy and immediately forgive and pretend it never happened". Being deceived. Ugh. Yeah, the Moon looks cool in concept, like... ooOOOooOo the Moooon, spooky, how cooool. But... as much as I like the mind-bendy psychological horror shit in theory... when it starts happening in real life... not a fan...
Sooo, stitching it all together... In the past, I relied on my inner strength, my willpower and emotional centering, to make me a rock for people. And when I reached a point where I shifted into a new phase of life, and unlocked a wealth of insight about myself and the world, this turned my social life upside down. And moving forward, I'm heading toward a world that is often not what it seems. My lack of trust... while hindering... may be well-founded. My guide on this recommends not making any big life changes when The Moon is present, because things in moonlight often look very different in daylight.
And my history, even recent history, has proven this very correct. I tend to idealize and see the very best in everyone... and then end up with two giant buckets of goat bones in my house that I don't know what to do with, a week after my dog died. You know, shit like that. And... I don't really know what to do to get better at reading those situations and reacting properly, so... I guess that's what I could be focusing on.
Cool, that actually gives me some direction, and a lot of insight. Glad I took the time to do that. It's definitely time to go to bed now, it's already light out.
Better vibes to end on? The yellow beads are done! (ish... i need to research the stickiness.) And I also have a batch of orange-red ones that are ready to work on, too!

"We should do this more often," Bella said as she moved Renesmee in her lap, to make the girl more comfortable in her mother's embrace.
"Don't put ideas into Y/N's head, Bella..." Garrett playfully said and I smacked him in the arm.
"I'm just glad we're all together again," I muttered, closing my eyes as my male mate caressed my hair with the tip of his fingers, and my feet rested on Kate's lap.
I've been dating Garrett for the longest I can remember. Only a few years ago, when we had to comeback home to witness for Renesmee's situation, that we met Kate.  Having another mate came really naturally to us. In my family, this never happened before. Carlisle had Esme, Edward had Bella, Alice had Jasper, and Emmett had Rosalie. Garrett always made me feel complete, but Kate made us both feel full. She was such an extraordinary woman, always seemed to impress Garrett and I.
Joining her coven was a whole different story. Garrett felt fine about moving out to Alaska, but being away from Forks and my family was weird to me. Of course I never had second thoughts, it was hard for me to leave but, I needed to put my mates first. I was a Cullen in my heart, but I had to put that name behind me. That was the worst part of adapting.
Once in a while, our coven comes back to Forks, just so I can spend a nice time with my family. Kate likes the rainy days and catching up with Bella, and Garrett loves to be silly and joke around with Emmett. Seeing everyone together makes me realize how much I miss my family, and wish we could move to Forks.
I try not to feel sad about this, and don't say anything about it either. I could never ask Kate to leave her family, I know she would feel just the same way as I do now. Living in the same house as Irina can be a little annoying, but I know she would hate being away from Tanya, Eleazar and Carmen.
When I suggested coming to Forks for a couple of weeks, they were absolutely thrilled. It has been a week since we left Alaska, and we were having lots of fun. We play games, we hunt together, we get to enjoy the cloudy weather, and have movie nights.
"What are we watching today?" Tanya asked.
"I hope is not another Harry Potter film," Emmett said in a melodic way, making us chuckle.
"I like Harry Potter," Renesmee frowned confused.
"Of course you do, sweetheart. Can we watch Star Wars?" Garrett said suggestive.
"What about something more real? Why can't it be a romance movie?" Carlisle asked and everyone looked at him, "What?"
"Thanks Romeo, but no. And Renesmee is here, we need to watch something family friendly," I said like it was obvious.
"Why don't we watch a Marvel film? That supehero stuff?" Rosalie suggested and Jasper scoffed.
"Please don't make me go through that kind of torture again. Alice made me watch eight different Spider-Man movies!"
"What about Titanic?" Edward shrugged and I rolled my eyes.
"Again, Renesmee is here! Can we please just pick something without too much romance and people dying? I swear to God I'm gonna make us watch Harry Potter for the fourth time," I snapped.
"We could watch Frozen." Garrett said and I looked at him.
"What?" Alice frowned, just like the rest of the vampires present.
"I like Frozen. Actually, we like Frozen," He said pointing to me and Kate.
"You like Frozen?" Esme asked in disbelief.
"Yeah? Y/N is into musicals, Kate likes cartoons, and I like snow," Garrett smiled, his arms around me and Kate, caressing our backs.
That made me feel a little more guilty. It's snowy all around the country when it's winter, but winter in Alaska just hits different, and Garrett is all about the snow.
"Frozen it is then." Bella said, choosing the movie in the streaming app.
I love musicals. I remember the first time I made Garrett watch Hamilton and he almost had a epiphany. Watching musicals like Frozen with my mates were my favorite part of our relationship. Garrett knew the lyrics to every song, and Kate was crazy about "Do you want to build a snowman?".
Then, in the middle of the movie, Edward paused and looked at us:
"Can I just say, it's hilarious that Y/N, Kate and Garrett are singing all the songs in their minds?" He said, bursting into laughs.
"I have no idea what you are talking about," Kate whispered trying to keep a poker face.
Eleazar snorted, "Just admit you know the lyrics,"
"I wasn't gonna say anything, but they are unbearable when it comes to Frozen. If Y/N starts singing one song, the three of them keeps singing the rest of the songs from the movie!" Carmen blurted out and Garrett avoided everyone's gaze with a silly grin im his lips, feeling a little embarrassed having his secret exposed.
"Well, in their defense, at least they make a great trio. And Garrett is an awesome Olaf," Tanya tried to make it less embarrassing for us.
Emmett laughed out loud and pointed at Garrett, "Hi, I'm Garrett and I like warm hugs!" he mocked, trying to imitate my mate's low voice.
"Y'all should be greatful we're not watching Aladdin. This would turn into a karaoke night," Kate said and I nodded in agreement.
"Next time we should do a karaoke night then," Alice suggested.
"Yeah, I would love to see Garrett's talent with a mic. Maybe his gift is in the voice," Jasper frowned his nose.
"Oh, you guys are not gonna know where his gift lays," I smirked looking at Kate.
"Ew!" Everyone said in unison.

"there you are!" allison ran up behind luther in the hallway. "i've been looking everywhere for you"
"what are you still doing here? i thought you were gone" he turned to look at her in surprise.
"no, i was gonna go and then pogo showed me this-" she tried to explain what she had found but luther cut her off with a shake of his head.
"well, listen.. i was wrong about dad's death"
"what?"
"yeah, i was wrong about y/n, you know, to accuse my own sister of that- it's just-"
"no, no, i get it-"
"seeing all of you and being back here. i-i should be the one who's trying to bring us all back together not tear us apart-"
"would you shut up?"
"what?"
"you were right. about dad. come on, i gotta show you something"
————————————————–
"i can't" eight didn't like crying, especially not in front of her father. he was always cruel, no matter how much the children pleaded and sobbed. she crumpled to the floor, exhausted. she hated training alone, she wanted to train with her siblings outside in the snow, it looked like more fun than this was.
"you are weak, number eight! we will continue until you can get it right" reginald glared down at her. "again!"
she pushed herself up, wobbling. she weakly pushed herself again, trying to make something, anything happen. she squeezed her eyes shut, hands forming fists as she thought hard about what her father wanted. she didn't even know what she was expected to do. to no surprise, nothing happened. reginald sighed heavily, disappointed. he pulled a watch from his pocket before staring down at her as she fell to her knees again.
"you are dismissed, dinner will be in 20 minutes" and she was left alone. reginald disappeared into his office once again. she lay on the floor for a moment, heaving for breath. they had been training for hours, pushing her past her limits. grace and pogo lead her siblings, minus vanya, in through the doors. not wanting them to see her like that she gripped the table behind her, pulling herself up and leaning against it.
"y/n?" ben frowned, stepping over. the others look at her in shock. she shook him off, grumbling about how she was 'fine'. he watched her stumble up the stairs, cringing in pain. her siblings all shared a saddened look.
when they did rush down for dinner, y/n slumped into her chair, dark bags under her eyes. she barely touched her food, pushing it around her plate.
"number eight!" the next thing she knew five was holding her head up and her father was yelling at her. he degraded her, insulted her but she didn't hear a thing. five slowly let go of her, watching her carefully before turning away, back to his meal.
she sat up straighter and actually started to eat the food on her plate, after all, she must train on a full stomach.
————————————————–
y/n and five walked up the stairs of the mansion, feet dragging heavily. as they stepped up they were met with luther and allison.
"five? y/n? what the hell happened to you?" both stayed silent. y/n stared at her feet in a sort of daze. everything was still kind of confusing.
"are you okay?" luther reached out to five, "can we help?" the said boy took him by surprise, hand snapping up and grabbing his fist.
"there's nothing you can do" he spat before his expression saddened, "there's nothing any of you can do.."
y/n looked up, watching as he went. she frowned.
"you alright?" she stared at luther for a moment, grimacing as she remembered what they had last talked about. she kept her mouth shut, brushing past him to her room.
"y/n, wait-"
"just fuck off, luther" she snapped before he could say anything. he should have stayed on that moon.
————————————————–
"number eight" the remaining five siblings with powers stood in a line. it had been a couple weeks since ben's death now. reginald stood in front of them. they had all been told today's training would be different. "step forwards" she did as she was told, standing in front of the others. "you will be using your powers on your siblings today"
her head snapped up at that as did the others. she had never used her powers on them before and they knew what she could do to others. he sent the others all around the house. she was told to find them, sensing where they were with a blindfold on, almost like hide and seek without any of the fun. it was when she had found them all for the seventh time that she sensed something else.
"there are five people in line" she stated, "vanya?"
"wrong" she heard her father scold. "there are only four"
"there's a fifth, i can sense it" she frowned, pulling her blindfold off to see only her four siblings. they all looked confused. "klaus.. is there a ghost? it.. it feels like ben"
"no" he answered far too quickly. ben turned on him from beside him,
"what? klaus! i am here! tell her i'm here!"
"no, he's not"
"klaus! what the hell?! you're so selfish! i am here!" but of course, she never knew that..
————————————————–
"come on, luther, i have to show you" allison tried to pull him away but he continued to stare at where y/n had told him to 'fuck off'. he felt.. guilty.
"but.. what about y/n?" he looked at her. he hated that he upset her, he hated that he had accused her without any actual evidence. she was only a child, just like diego said.
"she's angry, let her cool off. you should apologise but not right now, give her some time" allison offered a soft smile, "that's all she needs, some time. now, come on, this is important"
"i just.. i feel guilty" luther frowned as they walked towards their father's room filled with cameras. "i shouldn't have assumed-"
"she'll understand" allison reassured with a smile.
————————————————–
y/n sat in her corner of the library, reading alone. she was calm, it was her safe place, nobody could bother her here. no training, no arguments, just peace.
"eight.." she looked up from her book at her brother's voice. five.
"what's wrong?" she shuffled over, eyebrows furrowing at the look on his face. he was worried, something five wasn't usually.. or at least he never showed it.
"i.. i want to time travel" he begun softly, taking a seat beside her. she frowned, why was he telling her? "i want to try but dad refused to teach me"
she froze, "you're going to try anyway" she realised. he nodded, now looking up at her.
"i know you think i hate you but i don't" he slowly begun, thinking of the words he was trying to say. "i'm telling you because i think you're the most trustworthy.. and i.." he paused, unsure of how to say what he wanted to. "i think you're the strongest, eight, no matter what our siblings may say"
"five.." she grimaced, "i know we don't talk much but i'll support you if anything happens"
"i do want to talk to you more" he sighed, ashamed for having obeyed his father's stupid rules. "but-"
"no, no. it's not your fault" y/n shook her head. "it's hard to go against him, i understand"
"you're too kind.. you shouldn't forgive people so easily, they'll take advantage of you" five frowned and she laughed.
"i thought i was the strongest, huh?" she nudged his shoulder with her own, finally getting a small smile.
————————————————–
"let me do that" y/n pulled a chair beside five, gently pulling the needle and thread out of his hand. he frowned but let her anyways. "you're antsy" she pointed out, eyeing his bouncing knee. "going somewhere in a rush?"
"i need to go back" he stared out the door, ready to rush out. "i need to find whoever this eye belongs to so that i can stop the apocalypse"
"i know" y/n nodded, eyebrows furrowing in concentration as she finished stitching him up. she gently used a cloth to wipe the blood off his arm before placing a bandaid over it. five stood, pulling his shirt on and buttoning it up.
"can i come?" she watched him stuff dolores into the duffle bag and swing it onto his back.
"no" he barely spared her a glance as he moved towards the window. he climbed out.
"what? why not? come on, five" she leaned out the window, watching him begin to climb down the fire escape.
"i need to do this, y/n, it's important" he looked up at her now. "just wait for me here, i'll come back, okay?"
albeit hurt she nodded, she needed to be understanding. she frowned, moving away from the window, hoping to find something else to do. instead as she walked out of the room she noticed luther.
she quickly moved towards her room, hoping he wouldn't see her. she couldn't deal with anymore fighting right now. to her misfortune he did notice her, following her to her room. she swiftly locked the door as she ducked inside.
"hey.. y/n?" luther stood outside her locked door, hand giving a single knock.
"what do you want?" she hissed back, refusing to open it for him. she didn't need anymore of his accusations.
"i'm.. i'm sorry for accusing you" luther sighed. he had to get this over with, she deserved an apology. "it was wrong and i shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like that"
he heard her cautious footsteps as she made her way to the door. there was pause before she slowly peeked out.
"you mean it..?" she frowned, eyeing his carefully. he nodded.
"i'm sorry. i know you've probably been lonely here, i know what it's like-"
"just shut up" she breathed out a laugh, pulling the door open fully, looking relieved. "no more fighting, please? i just want my family back.." the last part was quiet, vulnerable. luther nodded, smiling back.
"no more fighting" there was a comfortable silence that fell over the two of them before luther spoke again.
"by the way, do you know where five is?"
"yeah, why?" she tilted her head at him, confused.
"we're having a family meeting.. it's about mom. i'm going to get him"
"okay, but i can't guarantee he'll find this as important as you do"

The Kids are Not Alright
Tommy was in his house when the sirens started. He’d been visiting Shroud. It was a good day. Now, cold, indescribable terror is flooding through him as he sits on the floor, head pressed between his knees. Rocking back and forth, Tommy drags in breath after breath and never registers the oxygen.
Dream escaped. Dream escaped. Holy fucking shit, Dream escaped.
Sam had promised. He’d promised that wouldn’t happen. Pandora’s Vault was the most secure place on the server, the only place Dream couldn’t get out of. He’d been so sure of it that he’d been willing to let Tommy rot inside to protect its integrity.
He should have known it wasn’t true.
He needed to get up. He couldn’t get up. He needed to run. He could hardly breathe. He had to get Tubbo and Ranboo out. He didn’t know where they were. The sirens were still screaming, screaming, screaming.
There were tears on his cheeks. “No, no no no no no no no,” Tommy murmured, finally bringing himself to look up at Shroud. The spider was unaffected, watching him from the ceiling. He focused on Shroud, and slowly, slowly, his breathing evened.
He had to get Tubbo. Dream was probably looking for him oh god Dream was probably already looking for him breathe breathe breathe, he had to get Tubbo and Ranboo and Wilbur thought Dream was good run far, far away.
He shoved himself to his feet, turned on his heel, and ran at full tilt for the tunnel to Snowchester. They had to get away this time. They had to. He couldn’t survive it again.
Las Nevadas was quiet, for a casino town. Tubbo served plenty of burgers, for sure, but today it was empty except for the inhabitants, eating lunch alone despite knowing each other for months. It looked a bit stupid to him, everyone sitting alone at a table with nothing to occupy them but their food, silence reigning.
The exception was Fundy. He sat at the bar, holding a drink Tubbo wasn’t entirely sure he was old enough to serve and ignoring his burger.
“So you’ve been here for like… what, three weeks?” he asked Tubbo. There were massive bags under his eyes. Tubbo didn’t think he’d ever seen his old colleague look so bad. Well, he guessed they were colleagues again.
“Yeah.” Tubbo shrugged and stole a fry. Quackity wasn’t there to yell at him. “You?”
“Few months.” Fundy sounded like he had to drag every word out of his mouth, slumping to prop his head up with a hand. “I don’t even know how he found me. I was living pretty far away.”
Tubbo nodded silently. He glanced over at the table in the corner, where Purpled was definitely eavesdropping. He was too tense, his head turned a little too far to be normal for someone minding their own business.
The doors slammed open so hard the glass cracked. Tubbo whipped around, half expecting DreamXD himself to enter, but it was only Quackity.
Maybe not only. Tubbo’s friend’s face was wild, a maniacal smile fixed on his mouth that reminded Tubbo of that day on the mountain with Dream. He took half a step back. Fundy, who’d flinched at the noise, was eyeing the counter like he had half a mind to jump over it to hide.
“Everyone’s in here, right?” Quackity looked around, doing a quick headcount. “Great.” A scarily gleeful laugh bubbled up. “Team meeting, everyone! Gather round, everyone!”
Fundy, Foolish, and Slime all complied pretty quickly, with varying degrees of bounciness. Purpled and Tubbo took a few moments longer, giving Quackity wary glances before slowly moving towards the center table. Tubbo pulled off his apron and left it on the counter. His hand itched to hold his sword.
Hair had come out of Quackity’s beanie, now resting only halfway on his head. He ran a hand through it, looking around at them all. “So, I don’t know if you’ve noticed––” His voice rang out, echoing off the diner’s walls “––But Dream’s escaped.”
He kept talking, but Tubbo didn’t hear, frozen and listening. His ears were always ringing, ever since the festival. It was an ever-present reminder of the explosions. But as he focused, letting himself hear all of it, the sounds separated.
There was the ringing that was always there, electric and loud. Then there was the quieter, more distant, more urgent ring of the Vault’s sirens.
Ranboo. Tommy. Michael. Snowchester.
Quackity must have been too absorbed in his rant, because he didn’t stop Tubbo as he walked, trancelike, out of the diner. The sun hit him hard. He blinked in the direction of the burger van. Empty. Ranboo usually visited Michael around this time. Snowchester it was, then.
It wasn’t hard to leave Las Nevadas behind. Tubbo had never gotten anything from it past a paycheck. It felt empty, a cooperation where L’Manberg had been a family.
His family wasn’t here. Tubbo needed to make sure they were safe
There was dust on Ranboo’s armor. It was always like that after a mining trip. He’d have to clean it soon, but at the moment he was too tired, and it was time to visit Michael.
The snow in the Arctic Commune reflected sunlight directly into his eyes as he stepped outside, but Ranboo was used to it. He was not used to the people who greeted him. Techno and Phil stood on the bridge between their houses. Techno and Phil. It had been months since Techno left, and the worry that had been accumulating broke away like a chunk of ice. Ranboo dropped the grass block he’d been messing with.
“Techno!” he called, running through the snow to reach them. His legs sank down to the shins in the drifts.
Techno turned around at the decidedly clumsy approach. He looked like he hadn’t seen the sun in weeks, but when he saw Ranboo, he grinned. “Hello,” he called back.
Ranboo dashed up the steps and stopped in front of him. “Where were you, man?” he asked, slightly out of breath.
Phil and Techno exchanged a look. “I’ve been gathering intel,” Techno said finally. “I’m gonna tell everyone about it, but we need to get Niki here so everyone can hear.”
“Oh. Alright.” Ranboo started to move back in the direction of the portal. “I’ve got some stuff I need to take care of in the SMP, so, uh…” he glanced at Phil, who knew where he was really going, and finger-gunned in the portal’s direction. “I’m gonna head out.”
“Cool. Oh, wait, Ranboo!” Techno said quickly.
“Yeah.”
“Just, uh. You’ve got problems with Dream, right?”
Instantly, Ranboo’s skin started crawling. He dragged his thoughts away from the panic room, from Mellohi, from the voice that wasn’t Dream, and the visit Sam said he made. He nodded slightly. “Yeah?”
“Right. Uh, I’m gonna need you to trust me here, dude. When you get to the SMP, someone might tell you Dream’s out of the prison.” Phil looked sharply at him. Ranboo stopped breathing, and Techno held up his hands quickly. “Woah, woah, calm down, it’s fine. He’s not actually out. They just think he is, I promise. I saw him in there myself, okay?”
Did the world feel like it was collapsing in on itself? Yes. But did Ranboo trust Techno to tell him the truth? Yes.
Ranboo backed down the stairs and picked up a grass block from beneath the snow. He held it close to his chest. “You promise?”
“Cross my heart and hope to die, Ranboo.” Techno looked him dead in the eye. “Dream is still in the prison.”
“Then I trust you.” Ranboo turned towards Snowchester. “I really have to go now, though.” He had to find Tubbo and Tommy and make sure they were safe. He had to tell them it wasn’t real. “See you.”
Nerves battled with determination as Ranboo started the trek through the snow, then decided it would take too long and pulled out his ender pearls. Techno would explain, but until then, he’d probably stay away from the prison. He didn’t know what the sirens would do if he heard them.

Under the Floorboards pt. III
(Technoblade x Reader): Pt. I, Pt. II, Pt. III, Pt. IIII
Tumblr media
     From that day on Tommy stayed with you and Technoblade in your collective house, Technoblade tried to establish some ground rules but Tommy being Tommy refused to listen to any of them. He was dead set on building a cobblestone tower as well as taking all of Technoblade’s golden apples instead of eating the golden carrots that were graciously given to him. Other than that, things seemed to be going okay for your little found family. Well, that was until Technoblade and Tommy got wind that a man named Dream was sniffing around the area.
 Dream was an enigma to you, after hearing Tommy’s stories about the man you could only come up with two conclusions about him. One was that you had no idea what his motivations were in the first place and secondly you wanted to beat his ass for what he did to Tommy. As... unique as he could be at times no child deserved to be exiled and manipulated, it was disgusting. He was a sixteen-year-old boy who got caught up in too many wars and too much violence, you needed to protect him. So long as he was with you and Technoblade that’s what you planned on doing. That was what you silently vowed to yourself, even if Technoblade didn’t share the same sentiment.
 Now, it seemed you were coming increasingly closer to voicing those feelings to the man himself. Tommy was shaking a little besides you he tried to look strong as Technoblade frantically told him to hide and splashed him with invisibility potions. He looked over at you next and grabbed your shoulders, he actually looked scared, which meant he wasn’t messing around.
          “You need to hide too. God- there’s nowhere that he won’t check.” Technoblade mumbled, his brow creased, and he closed his eyes. “He CAN’T know about you! No one other than Tommy can, they’ll hurt you and-” Hesitantly you put your hands on his cheeks,
         “Take a deep breath…” You said tenderly as he opened his eyes to lock with your own. “We’ll be okay, splash me with invis and I’ll stay by Edward, hopefully it’ll mask my particle effects.” He gave a worried nod; you pecked his lips tenderly to reassure him as he splashed you with the potion. Just in time too because a knock on the door sounded, for once Tommy was absolutely silent. You watched as a man who rivaled your boyfriend in size came through the door, your eyes widened at the white mask covering his face there was an almost haunting smile painted on it. You pressed your tongue against your teeth and watched him give a wave to your boyfriend. Even without seeing his face you could tell he was smirking coyly at him. Never one to be intimidated Technoblade gave him a casual greeting and their conversation about Tommy’s location began. You had to cover your mouth with your hands at one point to stop yourself from laughing as Techno began talking to ‘chat’ instead of talking to Dream. You watched as the masked man grew more and more angry at Technoblade’s antics, he began speaking about a favor and Techno reminded him that he believes in full reciprocity. At the end of the interaction, it took all of your strength not to punch Dream directly in his stupid masked face. Why the fuck did it sound like he wanted to murder a child? If Dream ever laid a finger on him again, he was personally going to feel your wrath. The potion wore off almost as soon as Dream disappeared over the hills, Techno immediately turned to Tommy anger written all over his face.
         “Where you eating my gapples that ENTIRE time?!” Tommy sputtered out an excuse about absorption and you watched Techno open the window and beckon Dream to come back. You gave Technoblade a look and he scoffed at you,
          “I won’t let him hurt you again Tommy. I promise.” You swore looking down at him, and his face turned a little pink. Tommy cleared his throat and shook his head,
          “Thanks, Ms. Blade but I’m tough enough to fight him head on! Have no fear!” He pointed to himself with his thumb a proud smile adoring his face. You gave a little laugh and nodded in agreement,
          “You definitely are. Thank you for reassuring me.” You hummed and his smile only seemed to widen,
          “I’m more qualified to protect your girlfriend than you are it seems Technoblade.”
 Technoblade looked unamused, his eyebrow twitching in distaste. “Tommy I literally hate you so much. You’re a nerd.”
         “Play nice both of you.” You scolded them, “We have to work together and at least pretend to get along or it’s going to be a very long partnership.” They both nodded reluctantly, and Techno sighed tiredly, he ruffled your hair. The rest of the night was spent gathering some more food in hopes it would stop Tommy’s gapple eating tirade, it obviously wouldn’t but it didn’t hurt to try. After that all three of you turned in for the night, as both you and Technoblade were getting ready for bed he decided to speak up about the plan for the next day.
          “Tommy and I need to make a trek into L’manburg to find Phil and try to get my stuff back. I don’t want to leave you here alone considering what just happened today, but you also can’t come to L’manburg.”
        “Bubs you know I’ll be fine here alone did we not just have this conversation?” You pinched his pointed ears, and he made a sound of protest. “I’ve got fighting skills, after all have you not been training me in the art of war?” You teased with a smirk, “I got this Blade.”
          “Okay, okay, okay.” He leaned forward and kissed you and you kissed him back without hesitation. You felt him squeeze your hand fondly before pulling away from you. “When we get back home, we’ll have a date night okay?” Technoblade whispered softly pressing his forehead to yours.
          “Gonna be a bit hard with the raccoon boy snooping around.” You teased eyes sparkling in delight,
         “I’ll send him on a quest for something or other. So, it’ll be just us, I swear.” The soft look on Technoblade’s face made your heart squeeze in your chest. He brushed your hair behind your ear, “I’ll make you dinner, and we can watch a movie.”
          “Well don’t take too long then.” You sent a teasing wink his way and he smiled fondly back at you. You kissed him again pulling him down into the bed, you both bounced with a laugh. His pink hair hung down and framed his face gorgeously, his glasses slipped down his nose. You pushed them back up with your index finger and he went cross-eyed, “I’ll be looking forward to it.”
 The next morning rolled around and after breakfast both boys reluctantly packed a bag with important things they needed for the day. Stepping outside with the two of them, Technoblade gave you a farewell kiss and you watched them disappear over the hills. They were most likely going to go cause problems for other people on purpose. Finally alone, you decided to check up on the nearby villages to see if they had any interesting trades that you and Techno could exploit. You slung a bag over your shoulder and placed a good portion of emeralds inside of it, you placed a few potions inside of the bag as well. As a precaution you also grabbed an axe and a sword, you had to be ready for anything after all. Shutting the door behind you, you started your trek through the snow-covered woods you heard the snow crunch under your boots and began to hum softly to yourself. You paused a moment and raised an eyebrow as you caught sight of a blue sheep wandering by, tilting your head to the side you approached it.
        “Well, hey little guy.” You murmured reaching out and running your hand through the sheep’s soft wool.
         “Oh, um excuse me!” A voice spoke from behind you, you jumped with a yelp as soon as you spun around you were met with a fully transparent man. He had a yellow sweater with a big gash in his torso, and a beanie resting atop his head. You tilted your head up and locked eyes with him, they were almost completely white.
 He was a ghost.
          “That’s Friend! She doesn’t really like others petting her but it’s okay because you didn’t know.” The ghost smiled; it was contagious as you felt yourself smiling back at him.
         “My bad, my names (Y/n). What’s yours?”
         “Oh! I’m Ghostbur! It’s nice to meet you miss, I’ve never seen you around here before. Are you new to the SMP?” He tilted his head floating around you, almost as if to get a better look at you. You focused more on his name, Ghostbur, which means this was Wilbur Soot, ex-president of L’manburg, and ‘brother’ of Tommy and Technoblade.
 You cleared your throat and rubbed the back of your neck. “No, I’ve lived in this area for a while, but I’m a wandering adventurer. I trade with the villages around here for interesting collectables stuff like that. I don’t do much of that now though.” You watched the ghost’s eyes widen a little,
          “That’s so cool!” He praised, “I bet you have a ton of cool stories.”
          “Yeah, there’s been a few close calls, but I’ve made it back alive and well- oh shit no offense.” You winced a little and he laughed shaking his head,
          “No worries it’s okay! I’m fine with being dead you know, no one really liked who I was alive, so this is better for everybody.” He puffed out his chest a little and a big smile spread across his face, that only caused you to frown. You reached out to try and touch him and your hand went right through the man, you both seemed to shiver at that, and he looked at you in shock.
      “I’m sorry to hear that...that must be really hard.” Wilbur’s jaw dropped at your response, he floated around a bit awkwardly. If he wasn’t floating, he would’ve been shuffling on his feet in a nervous manner.
       “N-No it’s…Wilbur was a horrible, horrible man.” He took a deep breath and began to throw some sort of blue substance on the ground in a rapid manner, you watched as he began to mutter and breath heavily.
        “Woah, woah, woah I’m sorry don’t freak out!”
         “I’m not, I'm okay see, see I’m fine and happy. Very happy with everything that’s going on so no worries okay! Here.” He tossed the blue substance at you and you collected it with a weary smile, “Have some blue it’ll make you feel better.” You thanked him quietly and you both stood there a bit uncomfortably that was until thunder rumbled overhead. “Oh no…I melt in the rain.”
         “Here why don’t you come with me.” You smiled softly, “I know a place where you can wait out the storm.”
          “Aw thank you.” Ghostbur clapped, “Friend can come too right?”
          “Of course.”
          “Good. Then lead the way.” He chirped as Ghostbur followed you back the way you came, now before you get too mad at yourself you should know that Technoblade had informed you that during his ‘execution’ Ghostbur had visited him at his home. If he didn’t share that information with you, you’d be never revealing Technoblade’s base. As the house appeared over the mountains the ghost looked over at you with a bright smile, “Oh! That’s my friend Technoblade’s house, do you live with him?”
         “I do.” You smiled fondly and watched his smile grow excitedly, “He’s helped me out quite a lot.”
         “That’s wonderful! Technoblade usually never helps people unless he likes them or if they can do something for him in return. You must be very special, are you two together?” He only had to glance at you for a moment before laughing excitedly, “You are! That’s wonderful!” Ghostbur chirped, clapping his hands as he phased through Technoblade’s door, officially safe out of the rain, turned snow. You had let Friend inside as well and Ghostbur continued talking “Tell me how you met, please, please, please.” Seeing how excited the ghost was you melted, he won your heart just like Tommy. However, you had to keep in mind his alive self-did blow up an entire nation and that couldn’t be just brushed away like he seemingly was trying to do, you can’t erase the past. You can only accept what happens, learn from it, apologize and grow. However, you didn’t see the harm in sharing how the both of you met so you began to retell the tale to Ghostbur, the entire time he had an almost bittersweet look on his face.
         “I was married once...her name was Sally. She...left though. But I still had my son, Fundy and we did the best we could together.” Ghostbur said fondly his eyes softening,
         “I’m sorry...that must’ve been really hard for the both of you.”
         “It’s alright! She was a salmon, so she was going to swim away eventually.”
         “Like- like an actual salmon?”
          “Yes?”
The silence that stretched into the room was deafening, you cleared your throat deciding not to dwell on the fact that the ghost in front of you very likely fucked a fish. You hoped to god she was some sort of shapeshifter, in fact that’s what you were going to believe. You managed to break the silence by asking about Fundy, and the way he gushed about him was nothing less than fatherly. It was sweet and you listened intently to him, Fundy seemed like a good kid, a bit quirky but you were dating a blood god so who were you to judge? Eventually the snow outside stopped and the sun began to peek out from behind the clouds. Ghostbur glanced out the window and decided it was time for him to head out with Friend. It was about midday and you were almost sad to see him go.
 Alone again.
You still had hours to kill before Technoblade and Tommy reappeared, so you figured it was about time to start doing some chores.
---
         “Ghostbur what’re you doing here?” Fundy murmured softly, looking over at the ghost with an exhausted expression. His ears were pressed back against his head, talking to the man who was once considered his dad always made him exhausted. Wilbur, or Ghostbur now, really was pitiful.
         “Can’t I visit you every once in a while!” Ghostbur hummed a smile plastered on his face as Fundy frowned.
         “Preferably not. Plus...I’m a little busy right now I’m meeting up with Quackity and the Butcher Squad to talk about Techno again.”
         “OH! Technoblade! I just spent the loveliest morning with his girlfriend, she was absolutely wonderful! She asked all about you and just adored Friend-”
         “Rewind, Technoblade’s what?” Fundy’s jaw dropped to the floor and he felt a hand on his shoulder, the young fox man stiffened. He looked to the side and saw Quackity besides him, Ranboo was next to him but Tubbo stood a little ways away.
        “Yeah Ghostbur. Do continue.” Quackity grinned, his missing tooth sticking out from his last encounter with Toothpick. Ghostbur wilted a little bit and his eyebrows creased on his forehead, he fucked up didn’t he?
        “I-um nothing actually I misspoke.”
        “Did he misspeak Fundy, cause to me it sounds like we have new leverage against Technoblade.” Quackity laughed a crazed look in his eyes, “Once again Ghostbur I have to thank you for the great information.”
        “You’re welcome…” He murmured weakly, as Quackity stepped besides the ghost.
        “Get your weapons boys, it’s time to pay the Technoblade household another visit.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Things settled down pretty well after the election. Almost unbelievably so. Wilbur pretty much completely disappeared afterwards. You felt worried and voiced your concerns with Niki, saying you hoped he wasn’t terribly upset he’d lost the election. You understand he no doubt felt incredibly attached to the title of president, and he may feel resentful of you for ‘stealing’ it from him. Niki smiled at you, glad you were being kinder about this than the other contestants would be in your shoes, but sighed and said,
“Yeah, he’ll probably be upset for a while. But I’m sure he’ll come around to accept you as the new president.”
You gave her a thankful smile, even if you didn’t quite believe her words. But then you paused and wondered if maybe, despite all your reservations about the brunet man, it was possible to smooth things over with him? Maybe all you needed to do was sit and have a talk with him. Perhaps he’d gone insane in the original timeline because both Schlatt and Quackity were… well, for lack of a nicer term, total dicks to him. They were openly antagonistic to the former president, banishing him and his younger brother from the very nation they fought and died for, which no doubt added to his crumbling mental state after L’manberg chose a new leader.
But maybe you could be different from Schlatt and Quackity. Honestly you had no desire to be cruel to Wilbur, though you would not put up with any of his BS, and honestly you hoped to have a neutral relationship with the man. So you decided right then that there was no harm in trying. Your smile brightened and you nodded and said to the blonde woman,
“You’re probably right, he just needs some time. Maybe after a few days he and I can have lunch and just talk. Clear the air between us. I’ve never been president before so I’m sure he’d be a great help in getting me better settled in!”
Niki was super glad you were being so chill about all of this. She knew you were the best choice for president. That’s probably why she’d voted for you. (yeah she’d heard your little speech and was really moved) But she’d never tell Wilbur that. He fully believed she’d voted for Coconut2020, and to be fair she had intended to until she was so moved by your speech. You had a way with words that just put the listener at ease.
“Yeah, I’m sure things will be alright,” Niki replied with a cheerful smile.
You settled into being president pretty well all things considered. There wasn’t as much work as you were expecting there to be for a president. But perhaps your only frame of reference (the US president) was a bit different than your current job (l’manberg president). L’manberg was super small actually. Especially compared to the United States. Hell, Punz’ house was almost as big as L’manberg if you remember right.
You’re glad there wasn’t much presidential work to do at that moment. Because you wouldn’t have had time to juggle that work plus going back to your village and packing up some of your stuff in your ender chest before telling the villagers (and azo) what actually happened while you were gone. Which had been an ordeal in itself. You felt bad for just leaving to a new place so out of the blue. But you felt obligated to complete the role of president given to you. You’d feel less obligated if there was some other option you felt safe passing the torch to. Someone not a child. That left out every minor on this server and Wilbur.
Part of you considered Fundy and Niki for the job but another part of you doubted if they’d be able to handle it. Honestly they shouldn’t have to either. It’s no secret that being president is one of the most stressful jobs a person can have. Being in charge of the safety and well-being of a group of people is enough to turn anyone’s hair grey. Even if the group was just like 10 or so people like L’manberg had. You remember seeing a post about pictures at the start and end of American presidents’ time in office. And each president looked at least a decade older in each after picture. Complete with wrinkles and grey hair. Those happened in FOUR years! Their jobs were so stressful that they aged 10+ years in only 4 years.
You were pulled from your thoughts by Tommy practically shouting “We’re here!!” as you all made it over the hill that led to your village. The first thing you saw was the towering bamboo wall around the perimeter of the place. You’d been so in your own head that you’d actually forgotten about the two boys on either side of you. They’d insisted they accompany you to your village as ‘presidential bodyguards’ despite the fact you said you would be fine. They’d practically demanded to go, to ensure the ‘new prez’ didn’t get attacked on the journey. Amused and touched that they cared, you’d finally relented and let them come along. You’d only be gone a short while anyways. At least that’s what you told yourself.
It didn’t take long to pack up everything you wanted to take with you to L’manberg. You put all the nice gifts the villagers gave you (as well as a couple of the banners you made) and some of the stuff you made and packed it away into a shulker box you pulled from the Creative inventory before picking up said box and putting it inside your ender chest. Then you just picked that chest up and tucked it safely in your inventory and you were basically done. With packing anyways.. You still had to talk to the villagers and let them know you had to move away for a while. But you doubted they’d be heartbroken or anything. Maybe bummed out but they’d understand. It’s not like they’d be lost without you. They’d been living in this world long before you showed up and they’d probably be here long after you left.
Then you were ringing the village bell. And like every time you did the villagers all poked their heads out from wherever they were to see who rang it and what was going on. And when they saw you they brightened and hurried over to see what was happening. They gathered around you and the bell, murmuring curiously between themselves. You sighed and cleared your throat, gathering their attention to you before you hesitated, not entirely sure what to say. Should you explain the entire story from start to finish? No, probably not. That would take a while and you felt like they’d get bored fast. But just blurting out that you were leaving felt too abrupt and blunt. Though your indecision ended up not mattering because Tubbo finally lost patience with the silence and just let the metaphorical cat out of the bag in his usual laid back candid way.
“Are you gonna tell them you’re moving away?”
Oh that caught the villagers’ attention and suddenly you were surrounded by displeased grunts and hums, like surround sound stereos. You sighed and confirmed yes, you were. So with the news out there you started explaining what happened the day before, or at least a shortened version of it. You mentioned how you’d gone to support Tommy, placing a hand on his shoulder as you said this. Then you said how you’d sorta advised everyone to vote for who they felt would lead them smartly, and how you guess they took that as you entering the presidential ring.. And finally how you’d won the election by some points and how you’d not wanted to reject their trust so you’d accepted the job…
“Reader is our new president!!” Tommy practically shouted, clearly excited.
Though from the disgruntled murmurs from the villagers they didn’t seem happy.. But you told them it would be okay. You’d come and visit them as often as you could while juggling your new job. But even with that promise they didn’t seem happy. Your shoulders slumped a bit and without thinking you said,
“I’m not happy about having to leave the village and move away either. But I made a promise to the people of L’manberg, one I intend to keep.”
Despite not feeling the best about this you were determined to keep your word.
“Besides, it’s not like I can just pack up the village and move you all next to L’manberg!” you said with a flippant wave of your hand.
But the idea didn’t sound too bad to the villagers. They basically worshipped you as their guardian deity. So if loading up all their possessions and hauling them to a new place meant they got to stay within reach of their deity then so be it. They’d still be living in squalor if it hadn’t been for your kindness and generosity, so they wanted to follow you wherever you went. Be it sunny skies, harsh rain, freezing snow.
So they all made excited grunts and you blinked at them, catching on to their train of thought pretty fast. You shook your head, missing the confused looks the two teen boys were shooting between you and the villagers, and said they couldn’t follow you to L’manberg. Hearing this made the boys’ eyebrows shoot up and they started asking if the villagers wanted to come live in L’manberg. You sighed and said they seemed to, yes, but it wasn’t viable because there was nowhere for them to live! Moving them all on a spur of the moment thing would be reckless. Not only would the journey be very hard on them and take quite a while but there’s also no homes available for them in L’manberg.
“We could make some houses for them if they want to move to L’manberg!” Tubbo said with a little grin, not seeing the issue with them coming over.
You rubbed a hand down your face, careful not to jostle your mask too much. But then you sighed and finally caved in.
“Okay, you can all move next to L’manberg,” you began, but before they could cheer you cut them off with, “BUT! They can’t leave today. I refuse to let them take the whole long journey to L’manberg just so they can be homeless when they get there.”
You said you and some others (who you would pay) would build a new village next door to L’manberg for them. And once it was complete you would come back and help ferry them all over safely. But you might have to take them over in small groups to avoid hostile mobs and stuff. Though despite all the risks the villagers seemed quite happy with everything. So you pulled out your notebook, the same one you’d used when you first showed up to the village actually, and made a note to start construction on a new village to either the North or East of L’manberg. Or whatever side had better building room. But now that that all was settled you bid the villagers goodbye, saying you’d start construction as soon as possible.
With that out of the way you decided to pay a visit to Azo. You missed the adorable little piglin and hoped she was doing okay. Your boys followed you into the Nether, asking what you needed from there so badly. That made you pause and realize they’d never officially met Azo! You smiled down at them and said you’d sort of taken up guardianship of a little piglin girl who lost her parents. You’d expected questions and some comments but got nothing but silence in return, which left you feeling a bit confused. But when you glanced over at the boys you saw Tubbo looking lost in thought and Tommy looking mildly upset. This caused you to stop short, which made them pause and look back at you.
“What’s wrong?” you couldn’t help but ask.
But they both waved you off, Tubbo with a soft ‘what do you mean?’ and Tommy with an almost harsh sounding  ‘nothing’, both of which didn’t sound the least bit convincing. So you tilted your head to the side and in a firmer (but still gentle) tone you asked again what was wrong. Tommy’s nose scrunched up and he crossed his arms, adamantly saying nothing and asking if you all could hurry up and see ‘this kid’ since you had to hurry back to L’manberg. Tubbo tried to piggyback off Tommy, his smile attempting to be brighter as he agreed, saying he wanted to meet your ‘new kid’. That’s when it hit you..
“Are you two upset that I adopted a kid?”
Tommy wasn’t very subtle with his feelings, his loud “WHAT?! NO!” didn’t convince you of his supposed ‘uncaring’ regarding the situation. Tubbo however reacted slower than his friend, like he was processing what you’d asked before he gave a laugh that sounded too stilted to be genuine and denied being upset, saying that was ridiculous. Tommy actually started walking away, heading in the direction you three had followed when you were together here last time, with the goatish brunet watching him anxiously. But you called for him to stop and come back, maybe a touch sterner than you’d wanted. But when the blond came back to you he refused to look at you, just scowling down at his feet. You felt your heart ache at the sight and let out a calm breath.
You wrapped one arm around the blond’s shoulders and the other around his back, pulling him into a comforting hug. You laid your cheek on the top of his mop of hair, glancing down at Tubbo who was shifting between watching you both and glancing away nervously. Without much thought you removed the hand holding Tommy’s back and instead used it to carefully tug the brunet boy into the hug. They just stood there at first, still and awkward almost. But once Tubbo wrapped his arms around your hips and Tommy’s back his blond friend quickly caved and sunk into your warmth, wrapping his arms around you both tightly, like he was afraid you’d both disappear.
You took a breath and gently began to rock the two back and forth, missing how Tommy’s eyes pricked with hot tears as he heard your steady heartbeat against his ear. After a couple minutes of just standing there relaxed into the hug you said quietly but with as much emotion as you could put into it,
“Tommy, Tubbo, please talk to me. I can do many things, but reading minds is not one of them.”
You felt your shirt become warm and you frowned and hugged them tighter,
“If something is bothering you two, if you’re sad or upset or angry then you need to tell me so I can maybe do something to make you feel better. I never wanna see either of you upset, so please… talk to me?”
The air around you three was unintentionally heavy, only the sound of fire crackling nearby broke up the silence. It was killing you to remain quiet but you didn’t want to push them to speak. That would just make them clam up and possibly push you away. So you waited, just holding and rocking them as you did. And your eyes brightened when your patience was rewarded.
“.... Why’d you have to go and get a kid?”
You half expected for Tommy to be the one to break the silence, he was always so against the quiet. But no, instead it had been Tubbo who finally buckled and voiced his thoughts. You couldn’t help but ask what he meant. And he sort of stuttered over his words, not sounding exactly sure what he wanted to say before he got his thoughts and mouth to cooperate.
“I thought you already-.. I mean you have us.. Why’d you-..”
If your heart could physically break like glass then you knew after hearing that it would be in a hundred pieces on the floor. You couldn’t help but pull them closer and bury your face between theirs, unknowingly letting out a softened keening sound.
“I want you both to listen, just because I take another child under my wing doesn’t mean I no longer care about you two. I don’t think I could ever stop caring about you. You’re my boys, and I-....” here is where you hesitated, not wanting so sound weird but you continued,
“If you both want… I mean since neither of you have one to my knowledge… I’d happily be your mom.”
Shy isn’t exactly how you’d describe the two boys you’d begun to care for, but there was no other word accurate enough to describe how they agreed to your offer to be their mom. Tubbo gave an almost meek, “alright, sure” while holding onto your waist and Tommy gave a long-suffering sigh while trying to discreetly wipe his eyes and said, “I guess you’re cool enough to be my mum. Barely though.” That caused you to let out a loud guffaw, your grip on them loosening enough to where you could ruffle the blond’s hair.
“Ohhhhh, Big man himself thinks I’M cool? Very high praise~”
The heavy atmosphere lightened and your laughter had the two boys laughing too. But then a sly grin took over your face and you chuckled. The sound alerted the boys of your mischievous mood and they looked up when you started talking.
“Well, now that you’ve accepted me as your mom I’m legally obligated to do all sorts of ‘Mom Stuff’, I hope you realize that. Like making sure you both eat things besides bread and meat, make sure you sleep regularly, and do the spit thing when you’ve got dirt on your face.”
They gave you a look that was a mixture of confusion and mild disgust, and Tommy couldn’t help but blurt out,
“What the fuck do you mean by ‘spit thing’??”
Unbeknownst to him, he’d activated your Mom Trap Card and your grin grew into a smirk and you raised your hand, casually commenting that he seemed to have a bit of dirt on his cheek, and then you licked your thumb and moved it towards his face. He shrieked and practically threw himself backwards to avoid your spit covered finger. But you still had your arm around his shoulders so he didn’t get far. He rapidly screamed out a verbal blur of ‘nonononoNONONO!’ that had Tubbo nearly doubling over, howling with laughter.
Though his laughter abruptly cut off with a gasp when Tommy escaped your hold, causing you to turn your sights on him. He let out a noise that sounded suspiciously like the bleat of a goat before turning and running from you. You just cackled and chased after him, your longer legs giving you the advantage. You caught up with him before he knew it and lifted him in a backwards hug. Now it was Tommy’s turn to laugh at Tubbo.
But you did let him down, without cleaning his face, and smiled down at the pair and said sincerely,
“All joking aside… I think you two would make a cool pair of big brothers..”
Tommy took that and ran with it, saying of COURSE he would be! He was practically Tubbo’s big brother already! Which just caused Tubbo to argue with him that uh, NO, he was older than Tommy! So HE was the older brother out of the two of them, if anything! And oh boy that caused them both to go back and forth, arguing about who was the ‘older brother’ between them. Tubbo insisted it was him because he was born first but Tommy insisted it was him because he was taller. You just shook your head and led the bickering duo down the familiar path to Azo’s little ‘house’ you built her. And as you reached the open area you saw her outside the house playing with a couple other baby piglins. But when she looked up and saw you she squealed happily and all but sprinted over to you. You made sure to bend down and hold your hands out to catch her.
She was so excited to see you again that she totally missed the two boys standing at your sides. At least until she heard them and then she stiffened and stared down at Tubbo from her place in your arms. Neither boy really knew what to say so you decided to intervene and put out introductions. You tapped her hand and smiled down at her, helping her worry ease a bit.
“Azo, I missed you! I want to introduce you to my sons! This,” you gestured to Tubbo, “is Tubbo. And this,” you turned your head and pointed to the blond on the other side, “is Tommy. They’re both very nice. And they wanted to meet you!”
You turned so you and Azo were both facing the boys and saw them smiling genuinely. Relief flooded you, thinking they were actually glad to meet the little piglin, unaware the smiles were more stemming from the fact you’d called them your sons so easily.
But you saw the wariness still on Azo’s face and worried she’d not like her new brothers. Suddenly you got a bright idea and your smile widened as you spoke up and said,
“Hey, don’t you two have a gift for Azo? Maybe something yellow and shiny~?”
Tubbo’s mouth dropped down into an ‘o’ as he realized what you meant. Then he elbowed Tommy and then pulled open his inventory and started looking through it. Tommy glared at him, moving his arm away after getting jabbed, but then his eyebrows raised when he saw his best friend pull out a gold ingot from his inventory. Then he understood what you meant and hurried to look through his inventory as well. Thankfully he did have some gold ingots leftover from when he was crafting golden apples.
Azo perked up when she saw the gold ingot Tubbo had taken from his inventory. And when he offered it to her she couldn’t hold back the happy snort she let out as she joyfully accepted it. You giggled at how she admired the saffron colored bar. And when Tommy extended his own gold ingot you laughed when Azo’s little tail began to swish back and forth in glee as she took that one too. She looked so cute as she admired her new items. You rubbed her back and said,
“See? They’re pretty nice, right? Why don’t we go have something to eat? And we can hang out.”
The tiny piglin seemed more than happy with that plan and snorted happily. You carried her towards the house, her little friends having long since scurried off. The teens behind you followed your lead, joining you in the house. You sat Azo down and suggested she show off her toys to Tubbo and Tommy, which she started doing gladly. The two played with her while you brewed some tea and crafted some cookies. Chilled rosehip tea and shortbread cookies were on the menu and after it was all done you laid it out on the table before calling them over. The boys were all too happy for the chilly drink, the cold giving them reprieve from the heat of the Nether. But Azo was shocked by the cold, not having experienced something like this before. It took a bit of explanation to get her to give it a try, and despite how it made her shiver she seemed to really like it. And cookies were always popular. So the plate was emptied in a flash.
As you sat with the three, listening to Tommy brag to Azo about how ‘cool and tough’ he was and how he’s practically a hero in the Overworld while Tubbo interjected with contradictions, you felt yourself smile serenely; truly happy where you were right then.
I Spy (With My Little Eye)
Spy x Family is the first anime to make me pick up the manga and boy am I glad I did! I’m practically caught up in the series and unfortunately I have not received the domestic fluff I so desperately crave. (And segss...) So I’m gonna go ahead and write some fanfic for the lovely family! Here is an excerpt~ Spoilers! If you are anime only, then some parts will be confusing/spoiled ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Perfect Wife: The first frost of winter had settled like a blanket amongst the city of Berlint. Precautions concerning transportation. Work and school were made accordingly the few days prior once the forecast had been made public. Like predicted, a foot of snow had fallen throughout the night. Upon morning, nearly every available surface in the city was covered in white. Icicles could be found hanging from signs and even tree limbs. Snow was nothing foreign in this country so daily life was only hindered by stricter road rules and heavier layers of clothes. Too Anya’s dismay, she found out she still had to go to school.  “But it’s a winter wonderland!” She cried as she vibrated in her seat, both her and Loid waiting for Yor’s mystery breakfast. She has been getting better, with the help of her coworkers, but there were still times where a certain meal would not settle well with he or Anya. Hopefully, today was not that day. “I can’t spend the entire day doing school stuff! I must play!” Her little arms were waving in the air for effect, Loid’s stoic expression easily hiding his inner amusement from his daughter’s energetic display.  “It won’t disappear while you’re in school. It’s too cold as it is.” He said, the male idly flipping through the morning paper. Suddenly, his eyes met Anyas’,”Freezing point?” Her little legs kicked underneath the table as she hummed in thought. In between study time, Loid tried to throw in random questions throughout the day that was currently being taught to Anya at school. Her attention span was hard to predict but so far he has been seeing positive results with this sort of method.  “0 degrees?” Her green eyes gleaned with hope, Loid giving a small smile. “Correct. Very good.” She gave a triumphant pose, a feminine chuckle filling the air as Yor walked from the kitchen with a couple of steaming plates. “Well done, Anya!~” Yor chirped proudly as she placed Anya’s breakfast before her, Yor giving a few pats on her head. Anya beamed,”Tis nothing.” She said, Loid refraining from giving a small chuckle. “Here you go, Loid.~” Yor smiled, the ravenette placing her husband’s breakfast in front of him. “Thanks, Yor.” He placed his paper aside, Yor seating herself as she stared at them both intently. Breakfast was simple; eggs, bacon, morning sausage, toast with jelly - nothing to it. However, Yor’s body trembled in anxiety as she awaited their ruling.   Anya had noticed the bacon first, the three strips upon her plate already gone as she soon tore into her eggs. She didn’t throw up the bacon, Yor will count that as a win. Her gaze then switched to Loid who had broken into the eggs first. He wasn’t retracting in disgust after his first few bites so Yor will give herself another win. “Yes! My family didn’t throw up my cooking.” She proudly thought. “This is really good, Mama! It’s not yucky!” Anya praised, Yor finding Anya’s sheer honesty a harsh yet such an Anya attribute that she would never change. That’s just who her daughter was.  “I’m happy to hear it.” Yor said, the female nursing a cup of tea. “Are you not going to eat, Yor?” Loid asked, Anya almost done with her plate. “Ah, well, I ended up eating while I was making breakfast. I wanted to be sure that what I made was actually okay.” She said nervously, her amber eyes staring into her tea. “It really did come out well. You should trust yourself more.” Loid said, his words causing Yor to blush. “Right…Thanks, Loid.” She found some courage to look up and meet her husband’s gaze, her bright smile creating a faint blush on Loid’s face. “Anytime, Yor.” They then found themselves stuck looking at each other, the world easily slipping away from their heated gaze. “Is mama and papa going to kiss now?” Anya’s little voice cut through the air like a seasoned blade, Loid and Yor’s moment breaking immediately as they both whipped their head to Anya. “We are not!” They said at the same time.  ~~~~  Yor soon found herself alone for the afternoon; Anya was now in school and Loid has left for his job at the hospital. Just recently, Yor had to take off time from work to focus on a mission that would require her attention for most of the day. However, due to unforeseen events, Yor had finished the mission very early and soon found herself with a lot of free time. She couldn’t just show up at the office out of the blue, she was too worried about being turned into the SSS. So, for now, she was going to be home for a week. The shopkeeper has no current mission for her either and until he does, she literally has time to kill.  The first couple of hours were spent cleaning up the house. However, due to Loid’s strict rules on cleanliness, Yor found herself coming up empty on things to do. She could go out and do some shopping for the house, but it was quite cold outside and maybe having a nap wouldn’t be a bad thing. For once, she indulged herself. Soon she was back in her night clothes, Yor suddenly contemplating if she could sleep in Loid’s bed or not. He wasn’t home and wouldn’t be for awhile, so…That would be okay?  Yor peeked into Loid’s room, the female seeing Bond sleeping amongst the covers. She giggled, Yor remembering Loid being so adamant on not letting Bond learn “uppies” but looks like Bond was taking the chance as well. “Mind if I join you?” Yor asked, his response being a few swishes of his tail. She slipped into bed, the smell of Loid’s scent hitting her trained nose like a freight train. She always liked her husband’s smell, but their relationship only allowed them to be so close.   It was strange but nothing about the Forger family was normal. For one, all three of them were not related. Everything about them was a lie, really. At least, at the beginning. Now, it was nearly two years into their charade and Yor had most definitely gained something very real for both Anya and Loid. Yor never saw herself as mother material; she raised her brother but she did so with no clue at what she was doing. She was still growing up as well, her faux motherhood lacking in various ways. Now, with Anya, she’s experiencing everything from a mature perspective and now she yearns for a little one of her own. The day on the cruise ship only solidifying her conclusion.  Yor has never been in a relationship either, having been far too busy with raising her brother and keeping her side job a secret. She really saw no reason in partnership until her coworkers began to poke at her about it. She made a pact with Loid soon after to fake being together but now she yearns to truly be with him. Not just on paper. Thin fingers dug into the pillow as Yor nuzzled her face further into the covers. However, she knew that with her and Loid their relationship could never deepen. She doubted herself far too much, the thought of rejection stinging her heart already. She gently huffed, her eye lids closing as she basked in Loid’s natural scent. This will do for now, she supposed.
Please yandere v! All might or aizawa as a spooky Christmas ghost?
Christmas Nightmare: Yandere! Ghost Shouta Aizawa
Hey there! Thank you so much for requesting! I had fun writing this. Hope you guys like it! :)
Check out my MASTERLIST for more!
Yandere! Ghost Shouta Aizawa:
It was 2 days before Christmas. You were on your way home from Home Depot. You had gotten your Christmas tree and decorations. And since you decided to buy it so late, you had to drive out of city to get the tree as those in the city were all sold out. But hey, at least you got a good deal!
Since it was a long drive back home, you had decided to do your grocery shopping too. As you were driving, munching on some chips, you noticed it had started snowing. The snow was covering the trees that were on either side of the road. It was getting dark, and only the lights from your car were illuminating the road.
Of course your old car had to break down. And that too in the middle of nowhere, where there was no cell service either. And you don't remember seeing any cars on your way either. As you were trying to get a signal, you almost didn't see the wooden cabin that was a bit hidden by the trees.
Now you've watched tons of horror movies to know that you should not go there. But it was getting cold, and now you could either die by hypothermia, or you could go there and hope that there is not a serial killer inside.
You chose the latter option. You went to the cabin and knocked a few times. When no one answered, you pushed the heavy wooden door open. In the dark, your hands looked for a light switch. When you found one and switched it on, you looked around the cabin. You appeared to be standing in the living room, there was little furniture, dust had accumulated everywhere. You found the fireplace and fortunately there was still some wooden logs and a matchbox there. You lit the fireplace up and decided to look around. You were surprised to see that the cabin was actually quite big. And it looked like it used to be inhabited by a family; you found some furniture, a few toys and some other stuff. It looked like that the cabin had been abandoned for a quite some time. You looked in the kitchen to see if there was anything to eat, but you found nothing. It was a good idea that you had some snacks to get you to get you by.
You went back to the living room, sitting near the fire. As you were warming up, you looked out the window. It was snowing heavily now. You took your phone out and to your surprise you found a single service bar. You called for help, but the signal kept breaking up, and they managed to tell you that they wouldn't be able to get there as it was snowing too hard; the roads were blocked. Plus, it was Christmas time, nobody is going to want to help you now anyways. You hoped that help or anyone would drive by in the morning.
As you were lost in your thoughts, you heard the sound of someone walking. Heavy footsteps. There's someone inside the cabin.
You sat frozen, waiting for the serial killer to come. However, a few more minutes passed, but no one appeared. Curious, you decided to see who was there. You hoped it would be an animal. But after you had searched the entire cabin, you found no one. Neither an animal, nor a person.
Hm, maybe its a ghost. You thought to yourself. But I should've been able to see one due to my quirk.
Your quirk: Dead Eye, helped you see the dead. You had seen a lot of ghosts, most of them were harmless, and the bad ones usually just wanted to be left alone. That's why you weren't scared of ghosts anymore. People are far scarier really.
Maybe this ghost was just passing by. Or maybe your mind's just playing tricks on you. You were getting tired, so you decided to sleep on the old couch near the fireplace. The warmth lulled you to sleep, not knowing that someone was watching you.
When you woke up the next morning, the fire was almost dying out. You checked your phone a signal, call, message, anything. You looked outside the window, there was snow everywhere. You couldn't even see the road. It didn't look like you were getting out of here today. Or tomorrow. No one is gonna come on Christmas to help you. Which meant you were going to spend Christmas here in the cabin, alone.
Deciding to make the best out of your situation, you got the tree and the decorations out of your car. After you had brought the tree inside, you went to look for some cleaning supplies and cleaned the place up a bit. Once you had done that, you decorated the tree up. You kept on checking if someone was driving by or if you got some service, but you unfortunately didn't. As you were making yourself some dinner, you heard footsteps again. You also heard a door open and shut. And you felt someone creeping up on you. You whipped around and you finally saw the culprit.
"Do you need something?" you asked the pale man with red eyes and black hair. He looked a bit surprised hearing your question. "Well?" you pushed, your own heart pounding. "You can see me?"he asked, confused. "Oh you're a ghost! Yeah, I can see the dead due to my quirk." The man was even more surprised as you introduced yourself to him, not scared at all. "I'm...Aizawa. What are you doing here?" You explained your situation to him, and how you'll be out of his hair the day after Christmas hopefully. You both apologised and thanked him for letting you into his home.
The more you talked the more Aizawa felt happy? It had been so long since he had any sort of conversation, even though it was mostly you talking. It had been too long since he felt happy.
Aizawa apologised too for trying to scare you. He just wanted to be alone, no meddling humans to disturb him from his sleep.
You both kept on talking, you telling some stories and just rambling on, Aizawa just humming and sometimes gave a small smile. You're so adorable. So nice. And warm too.
He loved how you cleaned up his place and decorated the tree. He remembered the good times back when he was alive. And even though he was a villian, he still remembers the cozy days of Christmas he used to spend with his family. Family. The family the betrayed him. The same family he used to do break the law for. The same family that went to the cops to tell on him when they found out what he had been doing to provide for them.
Of course he killed them. He did not regret it one bit. What he did regret though was killing himself after that, thinking that he'd never be able to find love again. When in reality, he was looking right at it. You. Its you. You'll be his love again.
When you woke up on Christmas morning, you went to check your phone but you couldn't find it. You were sure you had it on you. As you were looking around, Aizawa came and wished you a Merry Christmas. You smiled and wished him as well.
Aizawa had brought you some eggs from a nearby bird's nest. You didn't want be rude, so you made them and had your breakfast. You made some small talk, telling him about the world, how advance it has become. But he was really just interested in your life. What do you do for a living? What are your hobbies? How many people know that you're here?
His questions were weird. But you thought that he's just an old ghost, and also has no company; he's just bored.
You were still talking when you heard the sound of a car. You whipped your head to the window and saw a car slowly driving by. Finally. You thought. I'm getting out of here now.
As you went towards the door, hoping that the driver will see you and help you, you suddenly felt something hit your head before you blacked out.
When you woke up, you found yourself in of the bedrooms. Few rays of the moonlight were escaping the boarded window, indicating it was night time. What happened? As events of the morning came rushing back to you, you realised you were in grave danger. You tried to open the door, but it wouldn't budge even though there was no lock.
Suddenly, you were thrown to the bed, the mattress squeaking under you. Aizawa stood at the foot of the bed, his red eyes glowing in the dark. You tried to get of the bed, but it was like something was holding you down. You looked at him bewildered.
Aizawa started to explain "I've become attached to you. No. I've fallen in love with you. I know you're not in love with me right now but you will be." He walked towards you "you don't need to worry. I'll figure out a way for us to be together when I kill you. Then we can live here happily ever after." He stroked your hair. You went to kick him but he caught your leg in a tight, painful grip. He gripped your chin and forced you to look at him. "Now, now. Don't do something you'll regret. You don't wanna be on the naughty list now, do you?"
kashfaskak big Brian time omg
(What To Expect - no NSFW, bone breaking)
You’d get called to his office, hands sweaty and maybe shaking a bit as you open the door.
Levi’s standing at the window, looking out as he thought about who-knows-what, but he turns when you enter, indicating for you to sit.
He starts talking to you, menial conversation that is flavorless and dry, not filled with his common veiled threats or dark confessions of all the things he wants to subject you to.
Levi steps around behind you, hands falling heavy on your shoulders, and you both pretend not to see the violent flinch that the movement draws from you. Levi knows you’re afraid of him, but that works in his favor.
You aren’t sure what he wants from you yet, maybe a blowjob? But he’s still talking, small hands beginning to knead at the muscles of your shoulders, finding the knots, the sore muscles and digging into them painfully.
Long moments pass of Levi’s low voice filling your ear, his fingers pushing down hard into your muscles, making you wince and struggle to not move away from his touch.
But it hurts.
When he finally lets up on the painful massage you breathe a sigh of relief. The relief is short lived as he moves to your side, trailing his fingers down your arm to your hand, tracing over the tendons there with a foreboding sense of finality.
“Levi sir?” You question as he falls silent, the man intently studying your hand. He rubs his thumb over the callouses lining your fingers, the callouses that all cadets gain from operating the omni-directional mobility gear. Levi himself has similar callouses, although his are deeper and far rougher, his experience and expertise evident in the scars and weathered skin on his hands.
He lifts one of your hands as he studies it, bringing it closer to his face. You let him, just as you always do. Levi is not to be disobeyed. Maybe he’s in the mood for a hand job today?
“The upcoming expedition is going to be.... difficult.”
Your blood runs ice cold, filling your body with frost and snow. You feel like you can’t move. This can't be going anywhere good.
“I’m expecting there to be heavy losses.” The man continues, moving your fingers, bending them. “It’s a shitty fool’s errand, trying to drive back the titans that far from the wall.”
You want to snatch your hand away, but his grip is becoming increasingly tighter, one of his hands circling around your wrist to hold you fast. There’s an inkling in the back of your brain that whatever is going to happen will hurt. Levi’s going to hurt you.
“I’m ready to serve the regiment in whatever way necessary Sir.” You whisper, watching Levi play with your hand as if it were a toy that he didn’t understand.
The man nodded his head slowly, before his eyes flicked to yours. “That’s what makes you such a fine cadet. The best, actually. Always willing to do whatever your leaders command...”
What was he getting at?
“Sir? Is something wrong?” The silence is stifling, you have to ask. Maybe he just wanted to talk, maybe he just wanted to caution you about getting rest or tell you to train more. Maybe he’d act like a normal captain, and treat you like a normal cadet.
Levi sighed heavily, before the hand caressing your own stilled. “If I ordered you to stay behind, I know you’d feel guilty. Your comrades would wonder why you’re getting special treatment, the other officers would bitch and moan like whiny little piss babies about how I’m showing weakness. There’s no way for me to ensure your safety.”
The words he spoke were true.
“It’s alright Sir, I can take care of myself. I don’t need protection.”
Your hand was crushed in a painfully tight grip, Levi leaning over your chair.
“You’re so naive. You’d get killed before you could step outside the wall.” He spoke quietly, grey eyes boring into your own, insistent.
He was scaring you.
Not knowing how to respond, you stayed silent, trying to shrink back in your chair, away from the heavy presence of your captain. The man clicked his tongue, before straightening again.
His eyes moved from your face to your hand, where he paused, before taking a closer look.
“Ah, but my finest cadet can’t go over the wall with such an injury. Stupid brat, should’ve gone to the med unit.”
What was he talking about? What injury?
You voiced your confused thoughts, and Levi grimaced, lips drawn in a thin line, eyebrows furrowed.
“Your fucking hand, it’s broken. You broke it trying to get in some extra training with your ODM gear, didn’t you?”
“Sir, I don’t understa-”
Blinding pain lanced up your arm, and you doubled over in your chair, trying to pull your crushed hand out of Levi’s grip as you cried out.
The man kept a straight face, although a part of him felt sorrow for your pain. But it was necessary.
Another deft move with his fingers, and one of your fingers snapped like a twig, the sharp crack resounding in the room above your pained whimpers.
“Sir!?!” You cried, Levi finally allowing you to wrench your hand out of his grip, clutch the mangled extremity to your chest.
He’d broken your hand.
Levi had shattered the fine bones across the back in a terrifying display of strength, before cleanly breaking on of your fingers.
“A pity, I could’ve used you on the expedition. Too bad your shitty hand is broken.” His voice was flat as he stepped away from you, rounding his desk to sit in his chair with finality. “You should get it looked at, otherwise it’ll heal weird and you’ll be an ugly cripple.”
You felt like screaming, anger welling up inside.
A knock on the door startled you, Levi uttering a soft “come in” before you could say or do anything.
Commander Erwin stepped inside, blue eyes flitting between you, Captain Levi, and your broken hand. There was a moment of stillness in the room.
You couldn’t let Captain Levi get away with such flagrant abuse.
“Commander Erwin! Captain Levi broke my hand.” You explained, rising to your feet.
Bushy blonde eyebrows raised slightly, but Erwin didn’t seem surprised. No, he seemed... disappointed?
“It appears so. Go get it set and bandaged Cadet, you’re relieved of duty at this time.”
You couldn’t believe your ears.
Commander Erwin believed you, he just didn’t care.
It seem that Captain Levi was allowed free reign
