I do not understand people who think Greed Island arc is unimportant. First of all. Bisky. Second of all. It’s directly connected to Ging. Third of all. Some of the cutest and funniest Killua and Gon sillies before it all goes to hell.

But personally? I think it’s significant that Chimera Ant arc comes directly after it - plunking Gon from a video game, where things can be fixed and many of the personal consequences can be swept aside for the next big adventure, immediately to a war, where things can’t be fixed at all and the damage remains.

This started out as a joke on Discord, but then I wanted to draw it so badly, so here we go xD I just love the idea of Kerry, Johnny, and Rogue being millennials and having grown up more or less with the same (or similar) media I did. As they get older it just gets more likely to run into people like V who just don't know certain things anymore that were integral to their youth... I feel like everyone can relate to that, right? VHS anyone, floppy disks, cassette tapes?

(bonus: V might actually have seen the old Gremlins film, should it exist in this universe, bc he is a bit of a nerd... but he sometimes just enjoys teasing Kerry about stuff like that a bit too much XD impromptu movie nights with him as a follow up are an additional plus xD)

I wanna talk about my fav ships so badly so here some breef thoughts in no paticular order!

Bagina:

Women <3 They are literally "i'm a walking red flag" and "red is my favorite color". But they COMMUNICATE. They TALK about their FEELINGS. Basically unheard of on this server! (And dont worry Tina we will get to the demon part eventually.)

Fitpac:

Our favorite dedicated slow burn. (Yes, there are people here who apprechiate a good slow burn!) But they are not only an akward cute wholesome slow burn they are also the perfect dark romance with the whole "if he touches you i will make his life hell" and "now i kinda wanna see that happen" thing they have going for them.

4halo:

You could call it slow burn but i like to call it the enemies to lovers circle. Because its not as simple as your typical enemies to lovers. Nooo, they constantly switch back and forth between the two. They cant be with or without the other. They are very cute rn so i'm just waiting for them to cycle back to enemies. They LOVE fighting so no matter what, they wont stop for too long. But also they are both dying rn so who knows at this point...

Guapoduo:

From "lets get engaged before our first date" to murder husbands. They are both so fucked up and i live for the angst. They love each other so much that its probably not totally healthy but just let them murder together. Such a romantic date night <3

My first chanukiah! This was in my shul's small judaica for sale collection, and I think it's vintage. I was told many of the objects have been in the display cabinets since the 1960s, and since I can find no evidence of this chanukiah online, I'm inclined to believe it. If so, this is older than my dad is!
