I dont get why in some kazumaji fics people make majima the jealous boyfriend when he seems quite eager (maybe not eager but willing) to matchmake his love interests with other people. Jealous boyfriends would be people like mine or yuya who is like a rabid animal when people look at daigo or kazuki respectively
#Yakuza loveblog#see if daigo went out with a girl mine would be like Shes not good enough for you sir plus i ran a background check on her and heres the#dirt i dug up. any would be an apropriate reason to break up with her#if kiryu was seeing a girl majima would be like OOHHHH GOOD CHOICE SHES REALLY HOT I BET YOU GUYS HAVE SEX EVERY NIGHT while kiryu is#literally in the middle of having sex with him. sorry i keep saying having sex its a very apt phrase to use when two people are fucking#i see a shiba inu wow this is just like yakuza#majima is not a jealous boyfriend because hes convinced that hes a troublesome person#he only trusts saejima to deal with that because they signed up for this troublesome life together and by god they will exit it together#ill fuck you until youre satisfied so you wont get homesick#majima likes kiryu a lot but not enough to impose that much on him in That Way its simply better if kiryu doesnt care about him#i like them a lot because its like both of them are kind of pining but also they think the other doesnt like them THAT much so im not going#to make things awkward by cementing their relationship. they dont want to be clingy because also thatll be embarrassing#like kiryu doesnt bother to ask because he knows(?) majima will laugh at him and call him childish like damn man up#majima knows(?) that kiryu simply isnt That into him but the poor sap might be too nice and shackle himself into an arrangement with him#which is the last thing he wants. well not the being in a relationship part. the shackling kiryu part#he thinks kiryu is this beautiful wild horse that wants to roam the better world and kiryu thinks majima is this beautiful wild horse that#cant be satisfied with just him alone

watching Nishitani's death scene always leaves me devastated. like noooo king you can't die you haven't gotten your rocks off in a decent fight yet
#jokes aside the first time i saw that scene I wasn't ready for it. he's such an earnest guy who embodies this wild persona fully ->#and when the audience may believe he'll go wild again or pull some shit to save himself what does he do?#he tries to run for his uncle and shields Majima from the bullets.#he didn't have to give up his life but he saw something in Majima that he wanted to protect. a reflection maybe.#that line he says about “why couldn't we have met earlier” and chiding himself for being sentimental... goddd i need more of him#it makes me wonder specifically what he would think of the Mad Dog persona.#would he be proud that Majima took after him? glad to have someone that understands?#or perhaps downtrodden that Majima could follow his direct footsteps into an early grave himself?#i mean we've seen Majima throw himself into situations where he could die any minute. its not wrong to say its a miracle he's gonna see 60#but is that also something he learned from Nishitani? that he can sacrifice himself if it means the ones he loves will thrive?#ughhhh mr nishitani i miss your silly ass... literally altered Majima's brain chemistry that day in the jail cell....#also not to be too theorist or anything but like. i wonder if anyone tried to get Nishitani help or if they let him die.#bc his men were in the (unlocked) cell with him; one of them could have run for help or a medic even if it was too late#but would he want that? or would he have wanted to be left in peace with his only family member- dead by association with him?#grrrr i need more info on him..... but at the same time i love that they left him fairly vague...#we get just the hint of his attitude being a persona and thats it.... GOD i need to rip something up im consumed with blorbo thoughts#nishitani homare#bulletin board

i would eat my thumbs if u wrote a fic where 42 y/o majima watches his crush being motherly to a toddler and he sees that side of her and realizes he's falling in love and DKDSJDIAAAAAAAA 🤪😭
Hello!! Thanks for requesting and sorry if it takes more time than it should, this is the first time I'm writing so I was kinda confused on how would he react but I somehow I managed! 👌🏻
Hope you enjoy!
Majima seeing his crush being motherly
- Majima always had a thing for caring and being gentle when it comes to his ideal women, despite his crazy wild persona that he shows to most people, he’d still want to feel the tenderness when he comes home where he can finally show his vulnerable side.
- He has been having a crush on you now, he knows it sounds ridiculous considering he’s older than he ever was. He’s obviously not a teen anymore and it’s been some time since the last time he had feelings for someone, that’s why he thought his little crush on you was just another fling.
- The thing he most liked about you was how gently you handled kids and treated them like friends instead of acting as someone superior to them. Winning their hearts in an instant in the process. No wonder Majima’s heart was no exception.
- You knew how strong of a man Majima was and him sharing his past and being the most vulnerable around you made you love him even more. He might look tough and scariest of men because of his eye patch, giving people a perfect opportunity to judge him right away as a bad person.
- While on your way back from your date, you noticed a toddler who unfortunately bumped onto you and fell, the boy was on the verge of tears but you quickly cheered him up like it was nothing, motherly instinct they said.
- Majima was staring at the scene the whole time, you’re radiating motherly affection towards the kid which he can’t help imagining if you both are gonna have your own little family in the future, with his own kid. That was the moment he realized how much has he fallen in love with you, how serious he was with you. Majima knew you’re the one for him.
- When you sent the boy away along with his mother, your gave your attention back to Majima and he was smiling genuinely at you, which is rare for him to do so and when you asked him what’s the matter, he just shrugged it off but he swore inside that he’d never let go of you.
Feel free to send more asks! 🫶🏻

Could we perhaps get some headcanons about about Majima finding out that someone has a massive crush on him, but it's one of his subordinates in the Majima Family and how he'd react? Someone who's absolutely terrified of the man finding out since he's the 'boss' and all? If you're uncomfortable writing stuff about a boss/employee relationship I get it, don't worry about writing about it! Ik the dynamics can be really uncomfortable for some people, so if it's not something you wanna consider writing it's alright. Thank you!
SKSKKSK Majima moment fr fr let's GOOOO. If you want a follow up to this, lemme know as I've left it open ended.
The moment you realized you had feelings for your own boss was terrifying because... how does that even WORK in the yakuza world??!! Trying to keep it under wraps proves difficult and just makes it worse honestly. The more you try not to think about it, the more Majima occupies your mind.
If the rest of the family were completey honest with you, they been knew. Hell, many of them have felt drawn to Majima even if only in a platonic way. He's a charismatic leader and his fearlessness is intoxicating, so they kind of get it. They don't really say anything about it to you or Majima but it floats around in conversation amongst themselves from time to time.
Of course, you never intended for it to be this way. Most people don't get a job with the intention of falling in love with a coworker, especially people in THIS industry. It wasn't an immediate thing either. For a long time, you were just another grunt and he was just your boss.
The whole thing crept up on you like a predator lying in wait patiently to catch its prey. Before you knew it, you were working late hours, finding ways to talk to him by yourself, getting more involved in work than you could rationalize before it finally hit you: you like spending time around this guy.
The rest of the realization hits you in the head like a cartoonishly large hammer. How did you not notice before the way he smiled made your heart race? Or the way his eye would gleam, wild with intoxicating and infectious energy, before a fight would make you smile to yourself?
You try to parse these thoughts as you just admiring him strictly as a worker would look up to their boss or a student to a mentor, but your heart immediately betrays you. You can't deny that your eyes have lingered just a little too long on his chiseled muscles, his tattoo peaking out from underneath his jacket, the sharpness of his jawline, his hands that never seem to lose their dexterity.
While you come to terms with all of this, you kind of stall at work. Now every time he pokes his head up randomly to say hi, you're not quite yourself. You get nervous, you fumble your words more. Everyone notices, including him.
At first, Majima just thinks you had a bad day or something but the more it happens specifically only around him, his curiousity starts to get the better of him. He won't just straight up ask you just yet or even ask any of his men, but he's keeping his eye out.
It was only a matter of time before Majima overhead some of the other men talking about the fact that you've been noticably more flustered in front of the boss lately and how your little crush must really be taking a toll on you. Majima listens intently as they talk, his back pinned against the wall, eye pinned to the floor as he mulls over the information he just heard that clearly he was never meant to hear.
Still, it's not time for a confrontation just yet. Majima's interested in the whole situation but he's pretty closed off and he's not even sure himself if he's a relationship man. Plus, maybe his men misunderstood. He's got to put it to the test himself first, so he does exactly that.
Next thing you know, HE is the one going out of his way to see you all of the sudden, checking up on you throughout the day or asking to speak to you privately. Thinking that maybe you worried him, you regain your cool and suddenly you seem so normal. In private, this makes Majima frown. Had he imagined it? Surely not.
Fortunately for him, and maybe for you, Majima's a sly little bugger. He's going to test this theory out and if he's got to make a push, then so be it. You'll try to hide the shiver that runs up your spine when his gloved hand accidentally brushes against yours for an unusually long amount of time or when he stands a little closer than normal to you during a smoke break.
At this point, you're convinced he's at least suspicious of you, but what does it all mean? Are you overthinking it? Maybe it's a coincidence... do you say something? Say nothing? Wait it out? God, the suspense is killing you. Secretly, it's killing him a little too.

i ought to get better at writing down my thoughts so i actually remember them. anyway, it's kashiwagi time again. strap yourselves in cause this is going to be very long & punctuated with discord screenshots
i've discovered recently that people seem to like it when i lay my thoughts out on him, which is honestly wild to me but here we are. like i say, i'd like to put my ideas somewhere i can actually access them somewhat easily instead of peppered randomly through two or three discord threads and my own tumblr tags, so this post will probably function as my own personal meta archive for him, because i'm allergic to tables and spreadsheets and i don't really want to rely on google drive any more than i am already.
(speaking of google drive, i have a repository here of most of kashiwagi's audio files. refer to the readme document for the reasons it's not all of them for now)
>the basics?
i'll start with his age because that's at the forefront of my mind at the moment. i like to think he's in the ballpark of 10 years older than kiryu and nishiki, which would put him around six years older than majima, two years older than adachi, and 13 years younger than kazama. thusly, with a calculated birth date of around 1958, discounting birth month, he is (approximately):
30 in yakuza 0 (1988)
37 at the start of yakuza 1 (1995)
47 through the rest of yakuza 1, after kiryu gets out on parole (2005)
48 in yakuza 2 (2006)
51 in yakuza 3/when he "dies" (2009) (also goes grey around this time, maybe the year before)
61 in yakuza: like a dragon & gaiden (2019)
66-ish in rgg8 (2024).
(this list has been incredibly helpful to me actually because my original thought was that he was eight years older than the boys... that would put him at the same age as adachi, which i'm not a huge fan of)
Tumblr media
next up, sexuality - i think he's (almost) exclusively attracted to other men, with yayoi being an exception that proves the rule.
however, my idealised "ship" "timeline" for him is that he's with kazama until kazama gets naded, then does some FWB shit with majima until he himself "dies", then somewhere down the line after opening the bar ends up in a slow-burning "friend"ship with adachi, because who better to take out for dinner than the strapping old geezer in the glasses who serves you drinks and keeps a watchful eye on your extensive tab?
Tumblr media
next, i think he's definitely nd. which is something you can say for most characters in this series in some way, but he has an interesting relationship with food (not just limited to what he eats, but how), is shown infodumping on several occasions, hardly if ever switches up what he wears (at most, colours), flat affect/resting bitch face/autism stare, hires extra staff at his hobby bar so that he doesn't have to speak to his customers as much, and behind his intimidating mask he has this awkward kind of energy that reminds me a lot of my own experiences with being a bit not-normal. he probably has an oral fixation.
Tumblr media
also, sort of crack but also not, i enjoy the idea that he's light sensitive (or at least moreso than kiryu is):
Tumblr media
>the meat
he is very highly strung - we see this on multiple occasions. he seems visibly less so after "dying" in 2009, so i'm chalking it up to the stress of having to run things as someone who has the right mentality for leadership (the other patriarchs call him "soft" in y3 for trying to resolve conflicts rather than fostering them) but just doesn't enjoy doing it. he does exceptionally well as kazama's number two, but in yakuza 0 while kazama is in jail, and in yakuza 2 after kazama dies and he inherits the family (and clan captainship), he seems very stressed out. i absolutely think that his reputation for lashing out and his "violent" disciplinary methods are due in part to stress shortening his fuse (with the latter also being learned behaviours from kazama - an old school yakuza & assassin). age and the experience of staring death and a CIA attack helicopter in the face also definitely play a part in mellowing him out.
on kazama, i'm shamelessly stealing inoue's reasons for joining the shinsengumi and applying that to kashiwagi, because, while i don't really think of them as the same guy, there is absolutely a reason they chose him specifically as inoue's bakumatsu face claim. i don't have many ideas as to what kashiwagi did before swearing up, but he's a man of debts and undying loyalty, so i believe kazama must have saved him or turned his life around in such a way that he felt he could do nothing but pledge himself to him. i also really enjoy the idea of kazama having given him his scar, but i'm not 100% on how that might have come around either.
to extrapolate even more bullshit headcanon from insignificant canon details, i think in the 80s he was a beginner hobbyist keyboard player. mostly looking at the judgement cinematic where he's not plugged in and playing a little out of sync BUT still doing whatever fucked up fruity little dance he's doing. the presence of the piano at survive makes me think he got a hell of a lot more into it in his newfound free time, as something else to keep his hands mobile as he ages and recovers from getting shot up by a heli. also, still love the little anecdote we get from iroha when she says he's good with his hands.
(related: i think he taught himself to blend traditional medicine for residual chronic pain relief)
>weirdguy momence
Tumblr media
in a one-to-one phone conversation with kiryu, his younger brother figure, he calls daigo (with whom he is on a given name basis) 六代目
that moment near the start of y0 where he stares down at kiryu on the street from the family office window
i don't think any of his suits were fitted correctly until kiwami 2 because his jackets ENGLULF him on PS2 & PS3 and he's straight up rectangular in kiwami
fills an empty bottle of high-end whisky with pish to make his bar look more expensive and comes up with an elaborate cover story to stop people from buying it
the way he acts towards his direct authority figures
Tumblr media
>i'm ill
using up the last of my image real estate to post some moments where i kind of maybe lost it just a little bit. by my own standards, of course.

What a day.
You were more than aware that your job wasn’t the most excellent, hell, you could say you had gotten fairly used to the worst parts of customer service. Rude customers had little to no effect on you anymore, kicking drunken assholes out was but a tiny inconvenience, and your poor legs had become numb to the pain of standing in one place for multiple hours.
Recently, however, it had been shit. And you didn’t know why exactly, maybe you were just getting tired of living the same routine over and over. You just needed a break. And a really good one.
The loud booming music at the disco was almost deafening but in the best possible way. It left your head no room to think of anything but the pounding sounds you could not only hear but also feel. Maharaja was not foreign to you, in fact, you felt you were somehow far more familiar with Sotenbori during nighttime. The whole city became an entirely different place, it sprung to live, even. You frequented the disco whenever you felt the need to have a good time, get drunk, or maybe even hook up with somebody. You never knew what would happen, and that’s why you loved it.
With a drink in hand, you moved with the music, occasionally letting out a yell or two when a particularly nice song began to play. You could feel the effects of the alcohol you had consumed, your head felt light, and your vision was slightly shaky, but dear Lord you were having fun. You absorbed the energy of the partying people around you, forgetting all about the reason for your late-night visit, washing it away with a strong lime and gin.
The tunes echoed in your head and lingered there and the screams and yells of others kept you from floating to a world of your own. Still, your attention was scattered, eyes going from one place to another to being fully closed. There was a dance battle or two at some point. Who won those again? You had already forgotten, the memory was lost somewhere and washed away by the alcohol.
You downed your drink, as you danced, catching a glimpse of a young couple from the corner of your vision. They were all over each other, drunk, barely able to keep up with the beat. Despite that, they looked like they were having a good time. A wonderful time. Immediately you felt something stick to you.
Envy.
You stared at your now empty glass and let out something in between a laugh and a scoff. You’d need another drink. And someone to spend your time with.
Being alone was no issue, you sometimes even preferred it. But you would be flat-out lying to yourself if you claimed that some company wasn’t wanted. Parties were always better with others anyway. All kinds of people all over Sotenbori came to Maharaja, surely there had to be someone who was willing to exchange a few words or even dance with you. Though deep down, you perhaps desired more than that. Something... Wild. Your expectations in that regard, however, were quite low. A good dance would do just fine.
The bar counter was mostly empty, which was no strange sight. People much preferred to spend their time on the dance floor and the only time they stepped off was when their mouths desired the bitter taste of alcohol, you being living proof of that. That was precisely what you were doing after all.
With slightly uneven steps you approached the counter, the effects of the previous drinks very much apparent. You were nowhere done, though. Nowhere near drunk enough. You had made it your goal to get as wasted as possible tonight, almost out of spite. The last few days had been so awful. You weren’t religious by any means, but if there was some higher power out there responsible for all the shit you had endured lately, tonight, you’d be giving it the middle finger by allowing yourself to have a good time for once.
Your eyes drifted and noticed someone sitting at the counter. Strange, you weren’t expecting anyone to anchor themself here of all places, the music barely reached this part of the disco. Maybe he was waiting for somebody, you thought.
You eyed the man carefully, taking in his appearance. From your angle, you couldn’t see his face, but he was well-dressed, with black hair tied back in a ponytail. He had a firmness to him, his shoulders appeared tense and something told you that he was perhaps already aware of your presence.
In one hand, he held his drink, while the other rested on the counter. He appeared to be lost in his thoughts, but you could see his finger tapping to the faraway beat against the table.
You looked back at the dance floor and then at the man again. Screw it. You were rather intrigued and seeing that no one else seemed to be as secluded as this stranger, you approached him with something akin to slight nervousness attaching itself to you.
“Out here alone?” You yelled over the music. The stranger turned to you and immediately you felt something in your chest, your eyes widening ever so slightly at the sight of him. His face was neutral, tired even as if he hadn’t had enough sleep for days. Yet his lips turned slightly upward as he looked at you. It made your stomach turn. What was perhaps the most shocking part of his fierce appearance was the eyepatch covering his left eye. Your legs trembled the tiniest amount. He was unbelievably handsome.
“Yeah, I am,” he replied in what was possibly the most attractive voice you had ever heard. More than happy with his answer, you sat down beside him, eyes briefly glancing at his slightly exposed chest and the gold necklace adorning it. Some part of you knew he noticed, as you hazily noted the way he let out a suppressed chuckle. In your slightly drunken state, however, you had no shame.
“Want some company?” You asked with a slight smirk, placing your empty glass down. “Parties are no fun alone, are they?” Yet another chuckle left his lips and he quickly looked down before locking his only visible eye with you once more.
“Yer right about that. But makes me wonder,” he took one sip from his drink, your eyes gluing themselves to the way his lips parted as he drank before continuing.
“Whatsa pretty thing like you doin’ here all alone?” He challenged your smirk with one of his own, that deep voice of his resonating deep in your ears and lingering there like smoke. His words made you giggle and you leaned in, slightly shortening the distance between you two.
“Well, I’m not alone anymore, am I?”
There was the tiniest shift in his expression and something about it told you that he may not have expected your response to be so bold. And to be fair, you didn’t either. A few stronger drinks do wonders for one’s courage. He hummed in agreement, silently accepting your company. Score.
“What’s yer name, gorgeous?” You found yourself breaking eye contact at the nickname he used that was so effortlessly carried by his voice. He was no stranger to flirting, that much was clear. And it was working, as the flush on your cheeks was no longer only due to alcohol.
“(Name).” Something poked at your insides, something you could only describe as enthusiasm. You were eager to talk to this man, the more you looked at him, the more it felt like he was reeling you in. The bizarre feeling could only be compared to a high schooler talking to their crush. You didn’t complain though.
“(Name), eh? Fits ya well.” A laugh escaped your lips and if you had been more attentive, you would have noticed him glancing at them. “I’m Majima.”
Something clicked within you as soon as he said that, and your smile got replaced by an expression of realization. Was he..
“Goro Majima..? The manager of Cabaret Grand?” You looked at him with widened eyes, trying to process what you had heard. He raised a surprised eyebrow at you, likely not expecting you to know of him.
“Haw? How’d ya know?” His shock was understandable, and now that he had confirmed your suspicion, you were over the moon. In your excitement, you laughed.
“Anyone who has spent enough time enjoying the nightlife of Sotenbori has heard of Goro Majima,” you began. The hushed whispers of the Grand’s highly efficient manager did not go unnoticed by you and the things you had heard about his feats were truly something to marvel at. You never expected to meet him though and his refined and at the same time intense looks now made slightly more sense to you.
“I’m surprised to find you here, though.” You brought your palm to your face and leaned on it, that smirk you first put on remaining on your lips. “And without company too.” Given his reputation, you assumed men, women and everyone in between would be all over him, sticking to him like moths to a flame, yet you had found him alone at the most deserted spot of Maharaja. A part of you was quite ecstatic about that, not that you would ever allow yourself to admit that.
He laughed, noticing the underlying flattery in your words. It was funny to him but he chose to accept it even if it was only because he did not dare to extinguish the flames he saw in your eyes.
Majima gulped down the last bits of his drink, enjoying the way it flowed down his throat. You could not take your half-lidded eyes off him, the distant music becoming all the more apparent and louder, which made you turn your head towards the dance floor.
“Hey, can I get ya a drink?” Majima asked, pointing to your empty glass on the counter. “Just order whatever ya want. My treat.” You turned to him upon hearing his question and noticed the knowing grin on his face. Your eyes shifted from his eye to his lips and you came to a conclusion. You were at Maharaja, the wildest disco in town, and there was only one thing you were craving and the thriving sounds around you only fueled that desire.
You promptly stood up, to which Majima raised his brow.
“How about we dance first? Or were you planning to just sulk here all night?” You asked teasingly, but there was some seriousness to your question. It was still bizarre to you that he would choose to isolate himself in a place like this.
It didn’t take long for Majima to stand up in front of you, and you felt yourself stumble ever so slightly. His height impressed you, and he looked down at you with a clearly teasing smirk. You were sure he did it on purpose.
“Sure, show me what ya got, darlin’.”
He was so close to you, it was almost suffocating, but in a good way. You caught a whiff of a cologne he was wearing, he smelled as good as he looked. You tilted your head upwards at him and stood up on your toes in an attempt to get your face as close to his as possible. You wanted to let him know exactly what he was making you feel.
“Try to keep up, Majima-san.” Your voice was barely a whisper, and Majima was more than happy with the fact that you didn’t know just how many chills ran down his spine upon hearing your words. You were certainly something.
The brightly lit dance floor was buzzing, filled to the brim with people dying to dance and sing their hearts out. You were no different, you were hungry for a good time, especially with someone like Majima.
Once you reached the floor, you turned to him. His tense posture seemed somewhat more relaxed and there was a sense of underlying anticipation in him, almost like there was something inside of him just waiting to be let out. Most curious.
With a final glance at him, you began to sway with the music, just letting your body move on its own and closing your eyes. You felt the beat in your being and relished it, bringing your arms into the air. The music and lights enveloped you, and all your worries just melted away with every step you took.
Majima followed suit, allowing himself to get lost in the moment. He truly enjoyed dancing, which some might have considered surprising. At the same time though, he could not help but glance at you every now and then. He was fascinated by how fluidly your body moved with the music and how nice of a smile you had the whole time.
He would be lying to himself if he said he did not find you extremely attractive like this.
You caught him staring, and smirked at him right away. His burning gaze was unlike anything you had experienced and somehow you could feel both his eyes hungrily watching you, despite one of them being covered. You adored how it made you feel. And you knew he was more than enjoying the view.
With every roll of your hips and every snap of your head to the beat, Majima found himself more and more entranced and his own movements became wilder. He matched your energy perfectly, dancing his heart out, letting a laugh or two slip his lips occasionally. You noted how effortlessly he moved with the music and how much he seemed to be enjoying himself. He was a good dancer to be sure, he definitely had a talent for it. The bright lights adorned his already stunning face and brought out his features perfectly.
Running a hand through your hair sloppily you stepped closer to him, with a potentially dangerous idea suddenly taking over your head. If you were sober, you would have never allowed yourself to even think of something like this, but now it seemed like the perfect idea, partially because you were already so addicted to the way this stranger looked at you.
With your face mere inches away from his, you eyed his parted lips. You could smell the remains of the drink he had consumed just moments ago, but there was something else in there too and it didn’t take you long to figure out what. Cigarettes.
It filled you with something, a desire that you weren’t sure you had felt towards anyone else. Once you locked eyes with him, you were almost caught off guard at the intensity of his stare. It was fierce, starving, and almost unhinged.
You smirked and prowled closer to his lips, hands ghosting over his arms while swinging your body with the harmonious sounds that had filled your mind. You were playing a dangerous game, you knew it, but the way your heart raced was exciting, and you became even more excited when Majima matched your movements, bringing his head lower and closer to yours.
That was the response you were looking for, and it served as a sign that he was willing to play along. Perfect. Your smirk and gaze became mischievous and you quickly turned around, with your back facing him. You somehow heard the slight groan that rumbled in his throat even from under all the commotion.
In this new position, you made an effort to get him as worked up as possible. The song playing was perfect, the melody was sensual and enticing, yet the beat was still on-brand for disco. You swayed your hips, flipped your hair, and even ran a hand along your waist and chest all so you could wordlessly tell Majima what he was about to get. And it was working.
Majima could not keep his eye off you. He followed your movements and got completely lost in the sight of you. His breath hitched every time you looked back at him, those half-lidded, glossy eyes sending sparks throughout his being. His own dancing lost some of its passion as he was too occupied with feasting on you with his gaze. It traveled up and down, taking all of you in and letting his filthy imagination run wild.
You leaned against him, clearly catching him off guard. With your backside pressed against him, you continued your dancing, feigning innocence by looking at him with an expression so cruelly seductive that Majima wasn’t sure how long he could hold back. From the corner of your vision, you noticed his hand move toward your waist, an action you long predicted and expected.
However, before he could make contact with your body, you grabbed his wrist, denying his silent request. For a brief second, Majima feared he had crossed the line by attempting to touch you, but once he heard that cursed laugh of yours, he understood the situation. No touching. Not yet.
Still, he would not stand for being the only one getting messed with. That was not fair, was it? Carefully, with your back still turned to him, he lowered his head to your ear, barely touching it with his lips, his hot breath sending multiple sets of shivers down your spine. He saw you visibly let out a shaky breath as your dancing slowed down at his actions. He chuckled.
“Ya teasin’ me, darlin’?” His voice made you weak. It was low, husky, and just barely audible through all the music, but you heard it loud and clear, and it set you aflame. The grip you had on his wrist loosened, though you knew even with your tightest hold, he would be able to break free and turn the tables on you. The image alone almost pushed you over the edge.
Letting go of his hand, you finally turned around, your dancing reduced to just light swaying. The alcohol played its part in it too, you assumed. You looked at Majima dead in the eye, expression filled with lust.
“And what if I am?” You challenged his statement, which he found most amusing. Your hands found their way to his broad shoulders, dancing along the area right next to his neck. Despite the lack of fairness, Majima kept his hands to himself, which you exploited by having yours all over him.
The music had become mute in your head, the only thing raging in there were the sinful thoughts you had let loose by getting so close to this man. You were sure it was the same for him, his hot and bothered face told you all you needed to know.
“We’ll see how far that’ll get ya.” You jumped and let out a slight noise when you felt his hands on your hips, the tightness of his grip surprising you. He brought his face close, so close you felt like you were about to faint. “My patience’s runnin’ thin.”
Truthfully, so was yours.
You slid your hand down his toned torso, feeling his abs through his thin shirt, stopping at his belt, the feeling spreading the fire all across your being. With your lips on his hot cheek and your hand on the other side of his perfectly sculpted face you spoke in a low voice:
“Then, should we go get those drinks somewhere else?”
Majima tightened his hold on your hips, chuckling once more, but this time, there was something in it you hadn’t noticed before. It could have only been described as wickedness.
“Eager, ain’tcha?”
You looked up at him with a sly smile, which was all the encouragement Majima needed to start retreating from the dance floor. Filled with excitement, you followed, more than eager to spend the night with him.
“C’mon, let’s go. Ya still haven’t shown me all ya can do, have ya?”
You giggled. He was right.
What a night this would be.

Butterfly's Poison; Blood Chains (Chou no Doku) Part 1 - Junichi Shiba Route
Tumblr media
Yuriko seems like a really fun heroine, love how ready she was to jump onto a tree from her balcony to escape her birthday party. It seems that Yuriko is quite taken by Majima though! Mizuhito is an LI isn't he? Dang, we've got an incest route? Never really experienced that in an otome game before so that will be interesting, I mean I'm sure it turns other people off but I think it's quite interesting in fiction🫣 Oh, it's really sad to know that because Mizuhito was forced to give up on his dreams of being a painter and going abroad for it, he's lost his ambition and just sleeps around with nothing he's particularly interested in anymore. It's terrible when you actually have a dream but can't go for it. Oooh okay, Mizuhito is the son of a servant and Yasuyuki, Yuriko's father, no wonder Shigeko, Yuriko's mother doesn't seem to like him at all. The maid that likes Majima is crazy, what makes her think she'll be more desirable to him if she tells him that she's been sleeping with Saburo?? And Saburo looks very creepy so that's even worse! Fujita is an older man! I like them older so I'll be very interested in his route! I'm actually surprised that Yuriko hasn't caught on that this birthday party is most likely a party hosted to "marry" her off to a rich family. Fujita giving Yuriko chocolate to cheer her up was cute. Hmm Hideo is the childhood friend huh~ It doesn't seem like they have a nice relationship anymore because he's apparently changed though?🤔 Wow, Hideo seems like a jerk that's taking out his anger towards Yuriko's parents looking down on his family on Yuriko.
Tumblr media
I'm actually really sad that Majima is basically her first love and the one she likes but she's going to be with someone else. How do I do these routes knowing she likes Majima but feels like she can't be with him because he's just a gardener? Although I guess it's realistic... Kyoko is so beautiful! Hmm, Yuriko smells strongly of the flower in her name - Yuri aka lily, I wonder what that means. I'm glad Hideo apologised because he really was quite hurtful. Wow, Yuriko really was so reckless, she's really lucky that this guy saved her. Anyway, that was a terrible end to her birthday party. Not only did people end up ambushing it with weapons trying to kill those related to politics, but Yuriko's father got killed and her mother seems to know who the killer might be but is so frightened that she's going nuts.  I don't know what's going to happen to Yuriko's family now though. Her mother continues her lavish spending to seemingly get away from everything, her brother is the new head of the household but has no heart to do anything for it. The guy who saved her is Shiba, our first route! Not sure what to think of him though lol.
Tumblr media
Well, I didn't think Shiba would be so interested in Yuriko, but I guess he's the rich businessman LI who saves her family, not sure how I feel about him describing how much he wants to touch her, veryyyy inappropriate. Totally understand why Yuriko is so put off by him. I can't even blame Mizuhito for hating this house considering he never got to do what he really wanted to do and their house is still wasting away because of his parents. It made me happy to see him so adamantly against marrying Yuriko off to Shiba for money and ruining her life. Even though I can understand why Shiba hates on the nobility, he really has no manners or common sense tbh lol! He really wanted to drag Yuriko out by herself without anyone else?? Never, I tell you!! That's like releasing a little lamb to a wolf lol. I'm sure he won't do anything but she hasn't even accepted his marriage proposal yet so it's definitely not fine for her to be out with a guy by herself. Too bad that choosing Shiba as my first route means we pick no one to accompany Yuriko which is wild lol, I demand Majima😭
Anyway, it seems like Hideo has also caught on to Mizuhito's supposed "feelings" towards Yuriko... Does Shiba know Yuriko from somewhere? Anyway, even though Shiba is frustrating to deal with, I do like how Yuriko so straightforwardly shows her dislike and disgust towards him, she really doesn't mince her words haha. Well, those kisses were wild! He really went for it and wouldn't take no for an answer! I mean, it's great that he's honest but whoa lol. Kyoko is very amusing, gotta love how honest she is about not recommending having children lmao, poor kid though, he can probably tell his mother never wanted him and was forced to have him. Good that Shiba apologised but he's very shameless to say he's sorry but that he doesn't regret it lol. I am so glad that Kyoko told Shiba that women are not weak and are not possessions of men because dude, this guy really hasn't given much respect to Yuriko and women much at all! But they did it playfully so I guess Shiba isn't thaaaat much of a jerk but he still can be lol. Shiba's rough around the edges and lacks understanding of social cues around nobility I guess but it did kinda hurt to see him so distraught over Yuriko not wanting to accept his pearl necklace. It was obvious that it was going to break but I'm kinda glad Yuriko at least got to tell him that she felt like she was getting bought by him rather than loved by him with all these gifts and stuff he's doing.
Tumblr media
Hmm I'm not sure and I'll feel bad if I'm wrong but it feels like Majima is related to why people broke in on the day of the party and this possibly revenge plot against Yuriko's parents? Personally, I don't really feel the romance between Shiba and Yuriko but I guess I can understand how Yuriko would feel silly for believing he loves her when he kissed Kyoko, and then he pushes her down now too! Glad he stopped because I was very worried for Yuriko. Shiba was probably mad to see Yuriko at a marriage interview and that's why he said what he said but that was very disrespectful to Yuriko for sure. And honestly I don't really blame Yuriko for doing what she did, because it is difficult for her to believe in his feelings for her. I'm glad though that Yuriko understands that accepting this marriage interview in anger was disrespectful to Katsuie and his family who are serious about looking for a partner. It's nice to know that even though Shiba's confident, he was still anxious about Yuriko getting married to this guy, enough that he's been lacking sleep anyway. Now that they're both a little bit more open with what they want to say to each other without Yuriko displaying outright disgust and Shiba being a bit more honest about his feelings without other pretenses and jokes, I do like how they interact with each other. Communication really is the best.
Tumblr media
I really loved how he finally told Yuriko about their real first meeting being when he was trying to survive as a teenager committing crime, but meeting the young Yuriko who helped him made him want to live up to her standards and be suitable to be beside her. It's crazy to think that she was basically his whole reason for living all these years and that's the depth of his love for her and that's why he finds it difficult to hold himself back lol. Their honest conversation really made me see him in a better light for sure. Definitely didn't expect them to be wild enough to do it in her bedroom just because Mizuhito wasn't home though haha. I loved how they went back to where they first met. Even though it obviously affects Shiba more, being able to come back with the one he's been chasing after all his life, but I liked how instead of forcing Yuriko to think about their first meeting that she barely remembered, she instead reminisced about the peaceful days when her family was wealthy. As for Majima possibly being the head of an opium trafficking organisation? That is pretty scary😮 Majima must hate her family quite a bit if he wants Yuriko to suffer so much, although it feels like he does like her and that's why he wanted to bring her to Shanghai and torment her next to him. I wonder if Mizuhito not being able to fulfil his painter dreams was partly because of him doing something?
Tumblr media
Anyway, Yuriko really is reckless but seeing Shiba with tears in his eyes when she woke up after jumping out of Majima's car and throwing herself into the ocean to escape was really sweet. After their feelings became mutual, it's been really nice to see how genuine Shiba is and how much he sincerely cares for and loves her to not even hesitate jumping into the ocean to save her at night. Shiba being the director of an orphanage and hoping to build a school for children like him is something I expected him to do, he's just that kind of guy. Now that we have a bit more context as to why he said you could buy anything with money, yeah he's right in that context of having more opportunities and choices in the future etc haha. He really was insufferable when he first said it though haha! Dang, didn't expect how bad the ending could be with Yuriko accepting Iida's proposal and how it causes such tragedy… Not only did Iida's business basically go down, Mitsuhito "suicided" and if Yuriko tries to follow him, Shiba saves her and she loses her eyesight, what hell…lt honestly sucks because she's basically trapped and can only "see" Shiba but all he does is touch her thinking that's the only way he can have her. The ending where Yuriko seeks revenge on Shiba is so sad but I really liked it. It felt so terrible to see how happy Shiba was going home to her knowing that she was poisoning him everyday but it didn't matter to him as long as he got to live happily with her. He wasn't even the one who drove Iida's business down and made her family's debts worse, he just became the most likely suspect and never denied it making Yuriko misunderstand, that's just so sad. Reading his diary expressing his neverending love for her was so sweet, yet so tragic. The Shanghai Doll ending is amusing, I guess going blind and deaf is the only way for Majima to feel like he can be with her without feeling guilty?
Tumblr media
Overall, Shiba's route was all right. The first half really wasn't the best because Shiba really wasn't communicating properly and was to an extent insufferable with the way he said things and how he treated her by always touching her inappropriately without her consent. I mean, I understand how desperate and happy he was since he finally reached her "level" and was able to see her and interact with her but he really didn't have the best impression haha. I mean, I still enjoyed how snappy she was towards him and enjoyed their interactions to an extent but it was still too much for me. However, once their feelings were mutual, I really enjoyed the rest of the story! I liked how Shiba finally could be a bit more honest and express himself in a way that made you understand better why he said things the way he did before, and seeing how kind he was made you understand how deep his love was for Yuriko. I enjoyed how cute they were, and it felt good to see how genuine Shiba's feelings were for her in contrast to how playful he was in the beginning, and how it felt like we could never really see what his purpose was even though he did seem to like Yuriko. I really liked the poison ending and feel like that might be my favourite just because I love the regret and pain, but also the different way the ending was able to portray Shiba's love for Yuriko. Tragic but sweet, my favourite thing to read haha!

Top 10 things you enjoy doing with your man Majima! Go! ....I mean if you wanna, no pressure! Love yer face! /Super gay lol
Oh, man... A chance to unleash the things I enjoy doing with my beloved mad dog!? I am on it! Also LONG POST! Thank you for sending this ask bb! Love yer face too! Hehehe @cosmic-kaden
10 - Pillow fights! While this may have just started, there's something about pillows and feathers flying with Majima's laughter that makes it super fun!
9 - Cooking together! This is something that I feel always brings us closer together~ Fast food and convenient options used to always be our go-to in the beginning but we learned together that cooking and eating at home is just so much better~
8 - Late night walks wherever we are~ Doesn't matter if we're in Kamurocho, Sotenbori, or Ijincho~ Each location is beautifully lit up BUT shoutouts to the Ferris Wheel in Ijincho cause PERFECT date spot... >////>
7 - Golf - BUT HEAR ME OUT! There's a golf center in Sotenbori and it's honestly so fun! Why is it something I enjoy? Because Majima helped teach me! I personally love the BINGO challenge~ and it always makes me happy when Majima and I try to conquer with ALL the Bingos ~
6 - Arcade Dates! - Arcades are pretty big, so naturally we can go to the arcade for hours of entertainment~ I have a preference for the claw games even tho I'm terrible at them~ So Majima usually is the one who wins the prizes for me~
5 - Going to the Colliseum~ A lot of the time Majima is a competitor and is undefeated~ It's great being in the crowd getting loud when he takes the stage because damn his stage presence is so intense and full of energy, it's wild! And I love to see him win~ BUT when we just go to spectate, we get really into it~ I'm just happy that we're spending time together, even if it's just watching opponents beat the snot out of each other~
4 - Movie nights~ Because sometimes cuddles and popcorn is the best way to spend an evening together~
3 - Silly little shopping trips~ As mundane as it is, being out together getting what we need for the upcoming week to take care of ourselves is a fun venture together~
2 - Working together at Club Sunshine~ Where our romance began~ It's fun to make sure our customers and employees are being taken care of~ Silly? Perhaps~ But we value everything that makes the club successful~ I enjoy it because I really get to play an important role and because Majima felt that I would be good in this setting~
1 - KARAOKE! If you didn't think this was my favourite thing I enjoy doing with Majima, well, this is the time you know! I love Majima being so over the top! He goes all in when he sings, he doesn't try to be perfect or create an illusionary image of himself like he used to. He belts it out off-key and is smiling the whole time, whereas I.. Well, I try my best to give my best performance, even when it's just the two of us 99% of the time~

Daigo: 13, 20, 23
13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot?
🐻 because artists on Twitter would often use it to mean Daigo lol. Or at least a few of the ones I've seen. Personally, I'm more of a 'If Daigo were a furry he'd be a ram/sheep truther hehe.
20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?
MAJIMA! And you can look to Dead Souls to see why. Majima's wild quirky chaos blending in with Daigo's anxiety over responsibility. He'd push Daigo buttons like nothing else and get nagged on in return and they'd read each other well enough to silently communicate through works. Devoted to the end because they're friends, though Majima will claim he couldn't let the Chairman get hurt on his watch or because Kiryu told him to, he really respects Daigo and truly is down to follow him to the end. And Daigo earnestly appreciates Majima's out of the box thinking (even when it's a bit too out of the box) and the fact he can rely on him for just about damn anything. They're each other's confidants.
23. Favorite picture of this character?
Too many to choose from but I’ll go with this one since I love the way he looks pissed off. Y2 emo era Daigo 🫶

Thank you for the reply! I guess I was just a bit miffed because I'd have liked characters like Ryuji, Akiyama or Shinada to show up. And that's going to take a hell of a long time if they decide to do everything in order. I don't really care much for a 0 adaptation either... I think Y4 or Y5 could make for the coolest series plot. Y3 would be fun too, since we'd get Mine. Y4 is very disconnected from Kiryu for example, they could easily adapt that without having to explain the three previous games if they just focused on Saejima, Tanimura, Akiyama and Majima. But well. It is what it is lol I'll still give it a try anyways
Yeah different sections of the fandom have the Thing they love the most, but it’ll definitely be a while before we see anyone else if they do good enough with the first season. I’m also not sure how much of the lore of the games Wild Sheep and 1212 Entertainment know about. With 1 not being super complex or anything, I’m hoping to see how they tackle this before we get into the multi protag stories.

Makoto really doesn't get enough credit for being wild like she was in a new country and she went out to strange city on her own hell bent on finding her brother which is pretty brave and scary on its own, I sure as shit wouldn't be brave enough to do that and then All That Shit happens and she's still remarkably held together for a girl with literally hundreds of Yakuza looking to get her- Majima drops a line about being handsome and she's all 😏 which still makes me cackle and then she fucks off still mostly blind into Kamurocho because she is going to get revenge for her brother if its the last thing she does and she goes right up and says right to the faces of the men who hurt him that she would like them dead. Not just dead, decapitated actually :) and then one of the last things we see her do is smack the shit out of two yakuza. Girl after my heart, tbh.

OC-Tober/Tojoctober Day 15: Trash
This here's A-kun, the boss starts, and Aoyagi tries not to roll his eyes because he knows what always comes next: I found him in the trash behind the Wild Jackson fightin' a raccoon over a chicken wing.
It's not that far from the truth. Now that he knows Kamurocho better, Aoyagi can safely say the boss probably didn't find him behind a Wild Jackson. He remembers smelling cooking meat, and guesses it was probably over somewhere by Kanrai. And he wasn't in the trash, more like the trash can he'd swung at someone's head with the last of his strength still had some stuff in it and some of it ended up on him. And it wasn't a raccoon, it was... he's still not sure how many guys there were. The boss says two of them were already on the ground when he pulled up. Aoyagi thinks it would have been too many of them to handle alone on his best day, much less...
Never mind that. He doesn't want to think about it.
The point is, the fighting-a-raccoon story isn't that far from the truth, but it's a lot funnier, and Aoyagi might roll his eyes whenever the boss trots it out but deep down, he appreciates it.
---
"I'm just sayin, it ain't right to keep a man cooped up like this."
Aoyagi freezes halfway up the stairs to the rooftop and listens. Okay. Wow. Yeah, Chiba said he'd try and talk the boss into taking him off house arrest but man, he didn't really expect the guy to go to bat for him like this.
"Who do ya think'd even be after him? Sugihara practically had to dig him outta the trash!"
Despite knowing how awkward it would be if he were caught eavesdropping, Aoyagi snorts out a soft, humorless laugh. The irony is not wasted on him, how the bo--how Majima used to tell everyone he'd found Aoyagi in the trash behind the Wild Jackson, and now... well, now someone really did find Aoyagi in the trash somewhere, and Majima's the one who put him there.
"That was a week ago and ya ain't heard so much as a blip on the radar since," Chiba goes on. "You said it yourself. Far as any Tojo man oughta know, he's dead."
"And it's on me to make sure they don't find out otherwise," comes Nishitani's reply in that oh-so-proper snooty-ass accent. "This is for his own protection. He can accept that or not. I don't care."
Aoyagi silently flips that snooty voice the bird.
"Look. Maybe..." There's a pause, the sort that comes when someone's throwing up their hands in exasperation. "Nobody's gonna see him in the car after dark. We can drive him around, let him see the city a little. C'mon, boss. Put yourself in his shoes."
"I have been in shoes far tighter than his," Nishitani says. "I survived and so will he."
Fuck you too, Aoyagi thinks as he creeps on up to the roof for the only fresh air he's allowed to get these days.
---
This started with an innocuous enough text from Nishida: Can you come to the office? I really need an extra pair of hands for something and it's kind of time sensitive.
So Aoyagi shrugged and thought why not since he was in the neighborhood and popped in expecting to find... he doesn't know what he was expecting to find. Nishida in the middle of rearranging all the furniture yet again, maybe. Or putting up some Christmas decorations. Or literally anything but trying to extricate the boss from a fucking plastic trash can. Apparently he does this now! Apparently it has something to do with Kiryu-san! Aoyagi thinks he already knows more about this than he wants to and resolves to never ask again!
"I can't believe you got stuck again!" Nishida grunts as he tries--and fails--to pull the boss out by the ankle. "Ugh, no good. Little more, bro?"
"Little more," Aoyagi sighs, and he grabs the hacksaw to try and get his idiot boss a little more slack. "Sir, why do ya have to keep goin' in head-first? Yer legs are long enough to just step in!"
"Shut it, smartass!" the boss yelps as the sawing noises reach the depths of the can, where he's somehow managed to get his head stuck (don't worry, they poked some air holes for him but Aoyagi would rather not imagine the smell). "And watch where yer sawin'! My nuts are up there somewhere!"
"They're overrated, sir," Aoyagi says as he saws, not even bothering to disguise the quiet glee in his voice. Nishida chokes out the start of a helpless laugh and quickly clamps a hand over his mouth to keep it from reaching the bottom of the trash can.
The boss thrashes around as angrily as one can when one is stuck in a garbage can. "Easy for you to say!"
Aoyagi ignores that and sets his saw down. "Awright, let's try it again. Sir, if ya don't pop outta there this time we're greasin' ya up."
"Buy me dinner first, ya pervert."
Aoyagi ignores that too. He and Nishida carefully ease the boss-filled trash can onto its side. Aoyagi grabs a handful of ankle and a handful of leather and braces one foot on the rim of the can. Nishida does the same, on the other side. "On three. Ready... three!"
With much gritting of teeth and reddening of faces and mighty heaving, the boss finally slides free of his plastic prison in a way that sort of reminds Aoyagi of cranberry sauce begrudgingly slorping out of its can. The three of them, utterly spent with the effort, lie on the floor panting and sweating and, at least in Aoyagi's case and probably in Nishida's as well, trying to forget any of this just happened. The boss, meanwhile, looks positively blissed out as he breathes air that doesn't reek of garbage.
"So," Aoyagi says when he catches his breath, "who's diggin' who outta the trash now, sir?"
Somehow, he finds enough energy in him to start running even before the boss pops up off the floor to beat his ass.

I have a Question about the Yakuza series that has been on my mind for a while. Since I trust your Knowledge I have come to you! I see fanart of at least one of the characters (maybe more, not really sure) in drag pretty often, but I figured it's prolly one of those things that doesn't happen all THAT much in the actual game but at least part of the fandom really liked it when it did. Or maybe not because the series seems pretty wild sometimes; maybe it happens regularly? So, how often do the men in Yakuza actually dress in drag? Inquiring Minds want to know.
i am more than happy to answer!! i wrote out a whole long winded explanation of the majima everywhere substory which really is not needed so in short, yes, it happens only once as far as i can remember, but it’s a great scene. basically in the remake of the first game, a fan-favorite character (it’s me, i’m fan) named majima loves to goad the protagonist (kiryu) into fighting him, and his schemes to do so get progressively more and more elaborate. one of them involves luring kiryu to a hostess club where he is the hostess, dressed in drag. but instead of just fighting him and getting it over with, you have to do the dating minigame with him just like you would with any of the women at the hostess club, which is very charming. and after a lovely successful date, that’s when you go out back and kick his ass.
tldr, it just happens once but it’s become part of majima’s character in the eyes of the fanbase, particularly because he’s so heavily implied to be bisexual that it feels wrong to say that his queerness is only implied

Greetings! Ishin! Request time! Having a secret date night during Tanabata festival with Okita Soji, Nagakura Shinpachi and, if possible, Todo Heisuke 🌸 🎐 🍡 Thank you!
Oooo Ishin time. I had to do some research on the festival first as I didn't know much about it and it was quite fascinating. Headcanons below da cut, thanks again for ur patience while I recover from da sickness.
Okita Soji (Majima Goro)
Out of all the Shinsengumi, Okita is the king of sneaking out. Also the king of sneaking people in, honestly. It doesn't matter how many times he does it, he gets a kick out it each time. It's baffling that he doesn't ever get caught given how giggly it all makes him.
Okita would rather die than miss out on a festival date, especially a secret one when he's actually supposed to be at Shinsengumi headquarters sleeping like a respectable commanding officer. He practically came flying over the fence, his coat fluttering in the wind and his eye wild with anticipation.
He intends to make the most of the night with you so you guys will be doing a little bit of everything. Okita's the kind of guy who wants to drink in the sights, sounds, and smells. No carnival game is too childish for him to try, no drink shall be turned down.
He pretends to not care here nor there about the wish writing tradition but secretly he actually does hope his wish comes true. Type of guy to make a big deal out of making sure you don't see what wish he writes only to turn around and immediately say something like "So whaddya write on your wish?".
Okita's energy during the festival is bursting, almost fox-like. He's eager to do it all but he's by no means rushing you. You'll return to the outskirts of the Shinsengumi headquarters before daybreak, your stomach and heart equally full. He'll give you a swift kiss before bounding over the wall and slipping away into the morning.
Nagakura Shinpachi (Saejima Taiga)
Unlike his sworn brother, he's not one for dramatically scaling the walls. He'll simply slip out of a side door during a changing of the guard. His movements and initial greetings are nearly silent but the further the two of you get from the headquarters and the closer you get to the festival, he becomes more lively.
Nagakura is quite reverent of festivals and never forgets any of the traditions. If you've never been before, he's the perfect guide and will make sure you have the best experience. What he enjoys most is just the feeling of being in the crowd, just another normal guy in the festival and not a Shinsengumi officer on duty.
He has his own kind of rhythm during the festival: first a bite to eat and a drink, then a couple of games, and once he's a little more sober, wish writing. His pace is easy going but steady, his smile laidback but sincere.
During wish writing, it's quite adorable to see the hulking silhouette of Nagakura hunched over a small piece of paper, writing intently. The two of you will hang your wishes from the bamboo tree with smiles on your faces.
Always a gentleman, Nagakura will walk you home before heading back to headquarters. He'll press a tender kiss against your forehead before turning away and walking briskly back to headquarters, the rising sun starting to shine against his back.
Todo Heisuke (Tianyou Zhao)
By the time you arrive at the Shinsengumi headquarter, Todo is already standing outside leaning against a wall, casually waiting. It's not that you're late; he was just excited to see you and slipped out early to wait for you. He greets you with a casual wave and smile.
Out of all the boys, he dresses the most festively. His outfit was carefully selected a few days in advance, but he wouldn't actually admit that he was THAT excited about it. He blends in perfectly with the colorful decorations.
Always a sucker for a tasty meal, Todo's first and primary goal is to get something tasty from a food stall. He loves nothing more than sharing a special meal with you. It's all his treat, of course. He shows love with food.
Will participate in carnival games if asked but mostly likes to sit back and watch the chaos of the young kids playing. His vibe is the most chill and the least chaotic. He treats the wish writing tradition with great reverence, saying things like "We get one wish, so let's make it count, okay?".
He'd walk you home, taking the long route back as he wants to spend as much time with you as possible and he doesn't really want the night to end. He leaves you with a kiss on the cheek and a tight hug, waiting to make sure you get inside okay. If you look out your window, you'll see him waving goodbye with a smile on his face before turning and walking away with a spring in his step.
