Post-canon Viktuuri intimacy: my love of writing the most tender filth imaginable

I think I'll always love writing post-canon Viktuuri smut, because in my fluffy little head, Yuuri and Viktor have the most filthy yet tender sex imaginable. It's particularly fun to write about their kink life, imagining what a few years' experience of unraveling Viktor time and time again might do for Yuuri's confidence...

If you've read my work before, I imagine you know I love writing Dom Yuuri. The most recent chapter of my married Viktuuri 2018/2022 Olympic Games fic -- Chapter 17, meaning there are only 4 chapters left until the end of part 1! -- features a pretty lengthy sex scene, and given the heightened emotionality of this particular day (i.e. the one right before Yuuri's last ever competitive skate), it was really fun to write.

It also includes mention of one of my favorite headcanons in the overall 300K+ word fic series: that Yuuri is not only a talented athlete, but singer as well. In fact, since gaining confidence in his skating as well as his relationship with Viktor, it's long been a dream of his to skate to his own music one day in competition. He finally does so in his last ever competitive season, which culminates with the Bejing 2022 Olympic Games.

Below is an excerpt from this most recent chapter, which I hope piques your interest in checking out this story or my other YOI works (which are basically all explicit...lol, what can I say?).

Note of context: on this particular day, Viktor is in a feminine mindset. She came out as genderfluid post-retirement, and sometimes uses she/her/hers pronouns

Given Yuuri's impressive stamina, Viktor decided to help things along by beginning to twist her wrist and pulled off for a few seconds so that she could administer a few full strokes.

“I love making you feel good…that’s all I ever want to do,” she whispered, glad when her husband opened his eyes so that they were looking at one another. “You deserve it, you were so beautiful yesterday. And not only your skating, but your singing, too.”

Her eyes actually grew wet when she said the words, but she knew Yuuri would understand the sudden onslaught of emotion.

Viktor had been hearing ‘Gold’ all season long, but never in a million years would she have guessed that Yuuri had recorded a surprise version of it: one that featured his own lead vocals instead of Yukimi’s. Though her love had skated to the sound of his own voice before (at the 2018 World Championships, in a tribute during her last competition), this was the first instance in which Yuuri had skated to a song of his own creation.

It had long been a dream of his to do so, and Viktor hadn’t even really been able to pay attention to the first thirty seconds of Yuuri’s performance yesterday, what with the way she’d broken down, sobbing. Her uninhibited reaction had been the subject of quite a lot of memes, but she couldn’t bring herself to feel even the slightest bit embarrassed. She hadn’t even realized that she’d grabbed Phichit’s sweaty arm – he had literally just come off of the ice after his own stellar performance – and had been grateful that he hadn’t minded when she’d begun to blubber all over him (then again, Phichit had cried a bit, too).

It spoke volumes about their relationship that even with the very wanton activities they were currently engaged in, a distinct softness entered Yuuri’s beautiful, gold-flecked and chestnut colored gaze.

“I could never have done it, if not for you watching me, Viten’ka,” he whispered, bringing his forehead slightly down to meet her own. “I’m so happy I got to surprise you like that.”

Viktor was proud that even as her vision grew blurry, she managed to keep up her ministrations. She giggled quietly at the sweet way her spouse kissed at some of the tears that spilled over, but the sudden heightened emotion receded, replaced with the earlier eroticism when she gave a particularly deft twist of her wrist.

“FUCK!”

She recomposed herself, bringing her mouth back down and attempting to fit the entirety of Yuuri’s dick inside. When it hit the back of her throat, she hummed, satisfied at the second loud thunk! that resounded.

“Ah! Vitya!!”

Viktor immediately pulled off with an unabashed slurping sound, but before Yuuri could protest, she sunk back down, taking his cock all the way to the back of her throat, yet again.

Long Yoite headcanon post because I got carried away thinking about his eating habits

So what we know about his home life before The Incident is that he was neglected and locked away for a time. I imagine the neglect was always present, but that he did at least interact with other humans enough to learn how to communicate and take care of himself a bit. Rather than completely lacking socialization, he seems more neglected and self-reliant. IIRC, the priest says [Yoite] occasionally showed up at the church for three years, so I assume the family's decision to keep him isolated and ignore him entirely happened when he was around 11, maybe because that's when they moved into that house (perhaps when Yoite's father and Tsukasa's mother married?)

With that out of the way, I think the neglect he's faced is probably reflected in his eating habits. We know he eats a lot, quickly, with not the best manners, isn't particularly picky, and likes sweet things. (And tuna, and chikuzenni)

Growing up, even before needing to eat without detection would have become a strict need, he probably wouldn't have wanted to draw attention to himself. Especially if being caught eating meant being treated like more of a burden. So he would have had a habit of either eating quickly while nobody was around, or squirreling away simple foods for when he got hungry but couldn't leave his room. Foods he's specifically mentioned to enjoy tend to either be things he wouldn't have gotten often, or things that would have been easy to eat quickly (sweets and quality tuna might have been rare treats, but canned tuna and leftover chikuzenni aren't super messy and can be eaten cold). He also eats with his hands a lot and holds his utensils weird, like he's never been shown exactly how to use them, or preferred foods that he didn't need utensils for since they would he harder to sneak out of/into their places.

This post started because I made a joke about him eating chips/crisps like a toddler because of this illustration where he fell asleep with one in his mouth

But that could also be a habit formed being hungry and not having any other options, like licking all of the salt off first and then eating the chip so they don't go away as quickly.

Or, someone mentioned in the server, because he's losing his sense of taste. For the sake of this post I'm saying both.

This was meant to be slightly more lighthearted of a post but it's sad so think about Yukimi taking him out for ice cream now. <3

Naki is established as agender in canon, but I can see them exploring other genders through dress. Like, one day they'll come into work in a dress and the next in a full three-piece suit

Hiden Intelligence was LGBTQ+ friendly even before Aruto took over. Korenosuke quietly supported LGBTQ+ organizations and funded politicians who were progressive in this regard.

Tetsuo had a bit of a crush on Ryo when they first met, but that quickly blew over when Ryo was clearly devoted to Haruka. Then he met Haruka, and he got a crush on her too

Ryouga had lots of SoL-affiliated families throwing their daughters at him but he never was interested in any of them and would say that a relationship would interfere with his duties

Sara had her suspicions about Keiwa's sexuality- mainly that he didn't have one at all (i.e. was ace). Though she never pushed him on it, it's partly why she thinks he can't have a girlfriend lol

Ironically, Neon's mom was fine with her possibly being lesbian, since among the possible suitors she kept pushing on her were eligible high-society ladies.

Ace identifies as pan, simply because he's had so many lives as so many people and had so many different kinds of relationships that labels don't mean much anymore.

Today, Kanae wakes early.

She struggles to surface from sleep. Frightening dreams had buffeted her about all night, and she wakes still tired and fractious. She gropes about the futon next to her, only to find the sheets cool and empty.

Sanemi’s gone.

Kanae sighs. She’s been resting and recovering at his estate for about a week now, managing to steal away bits and pieces of time together with Sanemi, when he wasn’t busying himself with training corps members. Training takes up a lot of his time, and it’s only normal for him to have to leave. But they seem to exist outside of time here, just drifting along in a perfect state.

As she opens her eyes to the day, the strange and jumbled images of her dreams dissolve, and she sees with relief that the yukimi shoji are already open and the sun streams in. A pair of golden orioles perch in the branches of the tree outside; a blue dragonfly hovers against a blue sky.

Kanae pushes back the covers and stretches.

She’s supposed to be confined to bed rest, but she’s keen to see the new recruits. Prickly as ever, Sanemi’s complained about all of them, so much so that it feels like she knows them all personally.

So it’s with a smile that she picks out a pink komon kimono, emblazoned with golden butterflies, and brushes out and pins back her hair, already planning to make an appearance at the dojo.

Kanae ends up in the kitchen, making enough onigiri to feed an army. She delivers the food, and freshly-brewed mugi-cha to the dojo, where the recruits fall upon it ravenously, almost in tears. Knowing Sanemi, he’s likely been hard on them, so the respite from training is welcome.

“An angel.”

“A goddess.”

Kanae smiles meekly, a wash of pink overtaking her pale cheeks at the praise being heaped upon her. Her eyes dart around the dojo, but she’s unable to see – or hear – Sanemi. How odd. “Oh? Isn’t Sanemi here?”

“He left.” Munching noisily on an umeboshi onigiri, a recruit offers her a tentative answer. “Something about finding some garbage?”

Momentarily caught off guard, Kanae blinks. How unexpected. “Alright, I’ll go find him. I’ll come back later with medicine and more food!”

The recruits dissolve into tears. Privately, Kanae reminds herself to give Sanemi a lecture later.

Basket in hand once again, Kanae backs out of the dojo with a smile and a wave, and resumes her earlier objective of locating Sanemi.

Kanae glances at the gate, and debates leaving. Could he have gone outside? A mournful wail, followed by a louder, high-pitched scream catches her attention, bringing Kanae back to herself.

Her first instinct is to think of a demon attack, and she hurries with difficulty to the source of the sound, only to see a blond haired boy clinging to –

“Kamado Tanjirou?”

Kanae gives voice to her thoughts, and both of them glance at her. The blond – Zenitsu, Kanae thinks his name is – even stops wailing to stare at her, as though she’s taken the stars and hung them up for him.

“You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve seen since I came here,” He whispers on a choked sob, and inwardly, Kanae finds herself wondering if he’d hit his head during training. She resolves to give him, and the other recruits, a check-up later.

Her smile wavering ever so slightly in the face of his fanatical dedication, Kanae decides to focus her attention on the boy with the birthmark just above his eyebrow. “You’re Kamado Tanjirou, aren’t you? Shinobu’s told me so much about you!”

The boy brightens instantly, even with his friend currently latched onto him like an oversized barnacle. “You know Shinobu-san?”

“Shinobu’s my little sister, but I’m staying with Sanemi until my injuries heal!” Kanae finds herself responding to his pleasantness; Shinobu had nothing but nice things to say about Tanjirou in her letters, and Kanae can see why. “I’m Kouchou Kanae. It’s a pleasure to meet you both.”

“Ah, yes! I’m Kamado Tanjirou, and this is Zenitsu –”

“It’s not fair!” The boy, now confirmed to be Zenitsu, hangs his head dejectedly and moans, giving in to his despair. Kanae trades an anxious glance with Tanjirou, and bends on a hiss of pain to kneel beside him. The stitches along her stomach twinge in protest, but a quick glance to the front of her kimono tells her that they haven’t yet ripped. “Everyone has a wife! He’s going to kill me, and I haven’t even gotten married yet!”

Kanae’s face explodes in pink, matching her kimono. “We’re not – I’m not actually Sanemi’s wife yet –”

“Yet – Eep!”

A large, scarred hand wraps itself around Zenitsu’s head. It’s a hand that’s familiar and comforting to Kanae – she’s seen how gentle they can be as they push strands of hair out of her face, and how safe they make her feel when their owner holds her close.

But right now, he sounds furious.

“Choose. Go back to training or I slaughter your ass.”

Zenitsu’s next scream is blood-curling. If possible, he clings even tighter to Tanjirou, like he’s a life raft in the middle of a stormy ocean. Tanjirou’s comforting words have little effect; if anything, the blond’s screams only increase in volume until, losing the little patience that he never has enough of, Sanemi retaliates by knocking him out in one blow.

Frowning disapprovingly, Kanae makes her displeasure known. Her voice, as always, is gentle, but the hint of steel underneath is more than telling. “Sanemi! Don’t be so harsh on him!”  

“You should be resting.” He tells her savagely in response, but his hands are gentle as they help her to her feet.

“I’ve rested enough,” She replies, and grips onto his arm. Discreetly, Kanae tries to swipe away the beads of sweat on her forehead. “But I could be persuaded to rest more if you were less strict on the others. Is that acceptable?”

“Fine.” Sanemi turns, barks out an order to Tanjirou, still cradling his friend’s prone form. “Carry him!”

“Thank you very much,” Kanae adds for good measure, because someone has to, and Sanemi, she’s sure, would never.

Sanemi clicks his tongue, but seems more invested in ensuring that she doesn’t fall flat on her face as they walk back to the dojo. He steers her along beside him, and Kanae muffles a smile with the sleeve of her kimono, twining her fingers together with his.

Tanjirou, trailing along behind them, chooses a most opportune moment to pipe up, “Thank you for your guidance! I’ll be training with you starting today. I’ll be in your care!”

Already, Kanae finds herself warming towards this boy. She gifts him with a smile over her shoulder. “Of course. Let’s do our best!”

“Don’t get cocky, kid. I still haven’t accepted you.”

Kanae senses more barbed insults bubbling on the tip of his tongue, but she squeezes his hand as a warning and Sanemi falls silent. His displeasure, even though he holds it in place, is a liquid thing lashing about them all.

“That’s totally okay! I haven’t accepted you either!” They’re walking ahead, so she can’t see the expression on Tanjirou’s face, but it sounds as though he’s smiling. “You stabbed Nezuko, after all!”

Sanemi stutter-steps to a sudden halt, and Kanae finds herself forced to grind to a halt as well. Her amusement grows when she sees how Sanemi, uncharacteristically silent, can only stare as Tanjirou prances ahead of them

There’s a grudging admiration in his voice when he next speaks. “Kid’s got balls.”

Kanae pulls him onwards with a smile of her own and barely suppressed giggles. “Well, I happen to like him.”

“What? Why?”

“Aw, is someone jealous? Don’t be like that, Shinazugawa-kun!” With a grin, Kanae lightly swats at him.

“Kanae, I swear –”

“Come and catch me, Sanemi!”

Notes: The kanji 冷 means cold, and it is the kanji for Rei’s name. “Yukimi” can be written a few different ways. 雪見 means “snow viewing” and refers to watching the snow fall. 雪美 is a girl’s name, and consists of the kanji for snow and beauty.

Rei wiped the sweat from her brow and set aside her snow shovel. She stretched backwards, her hands on her hips, to relieve the ache in her back from the exertion of shoveling an entire driveway and sidewalk. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, relishing the feeling of the cold air slicing through her lungs. 

“Thank you so much Koorihada-san,” Muraoka said, hobbling down the now snow free walkway. She rummaged through her purse. “Let me get you some money...”

“Please don’t,” Rei said, waving her hands in front of her face. “I really don’t need any.”

Muraoka pulled a white envelope out of her purse and pointed it at Rei with a glint in her eye. “You will take this money, or I will break into your house and leave it under the pillow.”

Rei hesitated. Muraoka was a sweet old lady, but she did some wild stuff sometimes. (No one in town was likely to forget the incident at the mayor’s office.) She might actually do it. Rei reluctantly took the envelope. She wasn’t in the position to be turning it down.

“Thank you, Muraoka-san,” Rei said quietly. 

Muraoka waved her hand dismissively. “Think nothing of it. Buy yourself something nice. Tell your mother and father hello from me.”

“I will.” Rei bowed and said her goodbyes.

The walk back home was short, but refreshing. Wind combed through her hair, cooling her, and the falling snow whirled in little tornadoes.

When she reached her house, instead of going straight inside she headed around the fence to the garden. She brushed a thick layer of snow off of the wooden bench, sat down, and pulled off her gloves. She reached out and caught snowflakes on the palm of her hand—tiny, fragile crystals, barely visible against her skin.They didn’t melt.

The snow laden branches of the trees swayed under their burden. Snowflakes swirled around Rei, and stuck in her hair and on her eyelashes. 

Many other people wouldn’t be able to stand being out in this weather in only jeans, a jacket, and thin gloves, but not Rei. She could sit outside and watch the snow fall for hours. She had watched for hours, hypnotized, as clumps of snowflakes floated to earth to turn everything white.

Hokkaido really was the perfect place for a family full of ice quirks.

“Rei! Look what I’ve got!” 

Rei startled, shook out of her daydreaming, and turned towards the voice. Her sister, Yukimi, grinned back at her over the fence. She energetically waved a brown paper bag over her head.

Yukimi shoved the top of the bag between her teeth, grabbed the large, metal gate that opened to their courtyard with both hands, and pulled with all her strength. The gate groaned as it slowly opened. Yukimi was small, even for a fourteen year old, and the gate was heavy to begin with.

She skipped over to Rei and sat down next to her. She opened the bag and a tantalizing aroma wafted out. Rei’s stomach twisted in hunger. She hadn’t realized how long it had been since she last ate. It was almost dusk already.

“Akio-kun from the bakery gave me their left over kare pan. Here, have some.”

Rei fished one of the buns out of the bag. There were quite a few in there. She bit in and hummed appreciatively. The Ueda family made their kare pan entirely from scratch, including the curry. Nothing tasted quite as good.

“You do know he has a crush on you, right?” she said after taking another bite.

Yukimi made a funny face. “He does not. Why does everybody say that? He’s just really nice. That’s why he’s so popular.”

Rei smiled at her sister’s naivety. There was no way that this much kare pan was left over at the end of the day without someone setting them aside for her. Winter was the most popular time of the year for them.

“An’way,” Yukimi said around a mouthful of kare pan. She swallowed. “Did Muraoka-san pay you? She better have. Her driveway is huge and she’s loaded.”

Rei sighed and shook her head. Her sister was far too focused on money. “She did.”

Rei handed over the envelope. Yukimi stuck the rest of her bread in her mouth, her cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk’s, and ripped the envelope open. She choked and spat her mouthful of food out into the snow.

“Ten thousand yen? Wow. Maybe I’ll shovel her driveway next time!”

Rei took the money back. Ten thousand yen. That was a lot more than she expected. (Todoroki-san offered her thirty million yen to marry him.)

“You’re too busy studying for your entrance exams and practicing your figure skating to worry about things like that.”

Yukimi scoffed and kicked the snow. “I don’t know why I have to go to high school. I’m almost old enough to compete in seniors. I don’t need school to skate. It’ll just take up too much of my time.”

Rei sighed. This again. “You won’t be able to skate forever. You’ll need at least a high school education, if not a college degree, if you want to go into coaching.”

“I guess.” Yukimi slouched over, arms crossed, and glared at her feet.

She needed new skates soon. She might be small for her age, but recently her body seemed to be determined to catch up. Already her shoes from last year were too tight for her. Ill fitting or worn out equipment could result in an injury or worse.

Between skates, costumes, and coaching fees, it added up. Not to mention the cost of flying her out to various competitions. Yukimi was good, but the prize money was too little and too unpredictable to cover it all.

If Rei accepted Todoroki-san’s offer, the money would cover all that and more for years.

“Where are Mom and Dad?” Yukimi asked. 

“They’re working on a commission. They won’t be home until well after dark.”

“Which one? The ice castle or the giant snow lady?”

“Ice castle.”

Rei didn’t like that her parents worked such long hours in the winter. But they were among the best snow sculptors in Japan, and there was a lot of work available for them this time of year. They had to save up for the summer, when there wasn’t high demand for snow sculptures and money was tight.

Rei loved the snow. It was in her blood. If she married Todoroki-san she’d have to move south, where it barely snowed in the winter and the summers were scorching and humid. She’d be so far away from her family. She wouldn’t see them that often, even if they had enough money to travel.

Arranged marriages weren’t common nowadays, but they weren’t unheard of. Rei knew a few people in arranged marriages and they seemed happy enough. Todoroki was upfront about why he wanted to marry her. She could work with that. 

Rei didn’t love Todoroki, she barely knew him, but she was never the romantic sort in the first place. She never dreamed of her wedding or what she would name her children. She always thought that if it happened, it happened, and if she never met someone she wanted to marry she’d just live her life single and be perfectly happy either way.

Her parents said it was her decision. They didn’t try to influence her either way. It was her future and her choice. She didn’t have to choose right now.

(Her family could really use that money.)

Rei took another bite of her kare pan and watched the snow fall around her.

A Choice of Lovers

Neal has finally arrived at Steadfast, Kel wanting to stay until the harvest was entirely in before leaving her people. Yukimi Noh Daiomoru does not begrudge her friend the extra time with her people, and indeed Yuki does not begrudge the war from delaying her marriage no matter how disappointed she is by its delay. These things arise and her lover is doing his duty to the realm. She does miss Neal though and is very grateful to have him back. He came straight to the room she was waiting for him in when he arrived. They had a passionate 45 minutes of reacquainting themselves and assuring one another their passions for the other holds strong. It is now, while they lie in their bed together, listening to Neal tell her of all that has happened to him in the past year that the thought that plagued her over the last few months resurfaces.

“Kel led us right into the mouth of that castle! She was amazing and fierce, and terrifying.” Neal shifts and resettles the way he is holding Yuki to look her better in the face “There was a time when we were all pages, Kel drug me to her room to show Lalasa a bunch of self defence moves, after watching her teach her for about thirty minutes or so, Roald told Kel he would treat her with the respect he reserved for the crown jewels. I don’t know how much I respect those jewels myself but seeing her through Scanra, I have that kind of respect for her all over again.”

Yuki smiles up at him and gets out of the bed to start getting dressed again. Neal is watching her, “What’s wrong love? I felt your attention shift a few moments ago”. Yuki, half dressed turns and looks at Neal hard a moment, then wrapps her kimono like roab around herself and ties it.

“Nealan…” Neal cringes but waits. The look on his lovers face is devoid of its yamani mask and set very seriously, “You love me. I know this.”

At that statement Neal stands and wraps his arms around his wife to be “With all my heart my love.”

Yuki allows herself to enjoy the embrace for a moment as Neal rests his chin upon her head, she knows what she's about to ask could blow their relationship to pieces. Slowly she pulls away slightly, offers Neal a delicate smile “I know. My question is… Why do you love ME?”

She sees the confusion in Neal’s face and tries to elaborate “I don’t mean ‘because you’re beautiful’ and such like, I mean… Keladry is your very best friend. You’ve known one another since you were ten and fifteen. You say you love her as a fellow warrior but she wrote me as a page. I know she had a crush on you when she was a page. I can’t imagine you didn’t know,” at this point Neal sighs, grabs and pulls on his loincloth and sits down on the bed again watching Yuki as she begins to pace, “You are closer to her than anyone and she to you. I don’t understand how you are not IN love with her. You say yourself you believe her to be the most amazing person you know. And you two would make an exceptional couple. You complement each other so well.” She stops and looks at him another moment before sitting next to him and drawing his hands into her lap “I’m not trying to feel sorry for myself or insecure, I KNOW you love me, I just, you love her and you could so easily be IN love with her. Are you sure you are making the right choice in loving and marrying me? Once we’re wed it’s too late. I won’t begrudge you or Kel if you want out now to be with her. I would understand.”

They sit like that for a few moments just listening to one another breath. Slowly Neal shifts to face Yukimi, lifts one of his hands to her face to cup her cheek and kisses her soundly with all the pure passion he has for her. When he pulls away he rubs his thumb across her cheek bone.

“You’re right on many accounts my love. I do love Kel. She is my truest and dearest friend. It is also true that I believe that we would make a decent couple. We ballance one another in our temperaments. She’s always been able to handle my outbursts and I’ve been able to lift her from her deepest broods. She’d certainly do well to our people as well. Queenscove would prosper with her as the lady. You are also correct that I was aware she had a crush on me while we were pages.”

He stands, gets dressed, and sits in the chair across from the bed facing Yuki. Yuki sits and waits patiently. She knows Neal was not expecting this from her and knows that it will take time for Neal to collect his emotions and find the words he will want to use. He has always taken the time to make sure any concerns she has ever had with him, their culture, his expectations of her and hers for him, have his full attention and are addressed fully with all due level of gravitos.

“Did you know my father and Lady Illane were friends as children?” Neal suddenly asks her.

Yuki smiles, “I did not. Though I do suppose they are of a similar age and do tend to have similar politics. I’ve never seen them interact with one another though.

Neal nods, “That’s because they don’t anymore. Or at least not without Baron Piers or my mother with them. See they were great friends. When my father was knighted and Lady Illane joined the court after the convent they were even more than friends. They were truly in love with one another. My father told me about it one time after he had seen to Kel after one of her fights with Joren and his crowd. I had given him a glass of brandy and it all just spilled out of him.”

Neal shifted to sit on the edge of the chair “Kel’s grandma Dragon, Lady Illane’s mother, was all for the match and never discouraged their association. Apparently seeing them together was a regular thing and the whole court knew where to find him, all they had to do was follow the sound of Kel’s mother’s musical laughter. My grandmother wouldn’t have it though. Grandma Kristianna told father ‘No knight of the Book of Gold is marrying into Book of Copper squaller! You will find a proper lady or I will make sure it is made known to the other mothers at court that she is a two bit trollop that has slept her way through the men of the Own and is indecent for their boys!’” Neal shakes his head “If you had met my grandma you would understand she meant it and would have succeeded in destroying Lady Illane’s good name. Evidently they had discussed the chances of them working out as slim but they had gone on hoping and falling in love.”

Neal was silent a moment before restarting “They both did their duty. They both moved on from one another and found new partners and eventually married. My father DOES love my mother. I’m certain Lady Illane loves baron Piers as well. They thought after they were both married they could go back to being friends again. They started exchanging letters and eventually, when they were at the same balls, they started talking to one another again. Both of their spouses knew about their past. The whole court knew apparently. But they are both so honorable.”

“It was after many drinks and staying in one of the libraries after a ball one evening when it happened. They had had too many drinks and we’re reminiscing and got carried away and apparently starting kissing. It never got further than that according to father.” Neal chuckles a little “at this point in my father’s telling I wasn’t sure if I wanted to throw the rest of his brandy on him for cheating on my mother or give him a hug for how hard it must of been for them..’ Yuki smiles at him with her eyes and he continues, “anyway, they left after that and they both told their spouses what happened. My mother was apparently deeply saddened but said that it was not unusual for lords to have side lovers when their marriages became a chore. This sent my father into a rage and evidently they didn't speak to one another for weeks. They eventually made up obviously as I sit here now but it was agreed that to prevent it from happening again, My father and Kel’s mom would not be in a room together alone again and they would stop exchanging letters. I can’t say what it was like for Lady Illane but Father said a week later her and Kel’s father went to be representatives of the crown in Tyra for a year.”

Neal sighed and looked down at his feet. “Kel and I we’re already friends when he told me this story. I knew she had a crush on me and I was developing feelings for her as well. At the end of his telling my father stood, gripped my hands and told me ‘I will not be as my mother. If you want to love Kel, I will not stop you from marrying her even if as a Mindelan her family isn’t in any noble genealogy but be careful, if you love her and lose her to another, you will never be able to recover your friendship’. Yuki, I can count on one hand the number of times I have seen my father cry and look broken. Once for my second older brother. Once for my eldest brother. And once when he was telling me of loving Kel’s mother. It was awful to look into his eyes as he told me his story. Like a piece of his soul was missing in loosing her.”

Neal falls silent and Yuki walks to him and then kneels in front of him to grab his hands and force him to look into her eyes “I chose then not to fall in love with Kel, Yukimi. I will not lose her friendship. Not even for the chance to be the love of her life.” He gives her a brittle but true smile now “and it was the right choice because as good a couple as we could have been, it wouldn’t be quiet right. You, my love, are the right woman for me.” His smile becomes stronger “And since you are both such good friends as well, I get to have both women I love in my life, one as my lover and the love of my life, and one as my soulmate and truest of friends.”

Yuki smiles up at Neal and Neal raises them both onto their feet “Do you understand now my Yamani Blossom, will you still have me knowing I love another woman and you will forever have to share me if not in our passions but in my loyalty?”

Yuki kisses him resolutely “I’m sorry for your father and the loss of his love, but I’m glad it has made you into the man you are. I can live with sharing your love and take comfort in knowing if something were to happen to me, you would still have someone to love eventually. Thank you for sharing with me.”

Neal kisses her again muttering darkly “Nothing is going to happen to you and Kel and I will never be anything more than friends.” Yuki smiles up at him and hmmms. Suddenly, her stomach growls. Neal Laughs and leans down to grab some more of Yuki’s clothing “Shall we finish getting dressed and join everyone for supper? If we do not show ourselves soon I will never survive the torment they ring upon my head on our way back to New Hope.

Yuki shares a rare laugh and begins to dress properly “Yes we shall my love, I don’t think I would appreciate the knowing look on Buri’s face either since she and My Lord Raoul made it to dinner the day we arrived.”

japan/ons world as nohr and hoshido - the vamps are nohr, the jida is hoshido, and the possessed/demons are valla - shinoa takes to hoshido (birthright), and mika takes to nohr (conquest), hoshido (birthright) or goes alone (revelations) so he is overpowered okay because i like mikayuu also bc technically this is what happens canonically in the anime-manga soooo Mikaela Shindo-Tepes-Hyakuya or whatever/Shinoa Hiiragi (technically, their last names would be Bathory, but last names don't exist in fe so ha i freaking beat the system) as M!Corrin and F!Corrin respectively - yes they can still shapeshift into a dragon - yes they can still use swords/whatever they use - yes they still start out as a nohrian/nohrian noble - no they are not the same as each other - since corrin is a flexible character and ultimately shows no individual personality whatsoever, corrin in whatever gender will be modified to shinoa and mika's personalities - mika can use swords, lances, and axes - shinoa can use swords, lances, and tomes - in their upgraded forms that is; before they use a master seal, they can only use their dragon stone and sword - mika can only be paired with yuu (nyehehehehe it's cause i'm the creator suckeR) but shinoa can be paired with either mitsuba or yuu (because mitsushin is goals hell yeah) yuu as azura - manlier (than azura, but still pretty feminine - more feminine that in the anime/manga) - still sings (ie azura sings on the battlefield to give the units one more turn) - is paired with shinoa/mika (f!corrin vs m!corrin) - child isn't specified? - ^might have to include @califlair 's (tumblr) michirou, aka mikayuu love child - idk what shinoa's child would be, but p michirou still (even though he's mika's lmao) - ^maybe just redesign a child for yuunoa - dunno if i should even have a child for mikayuu - ^think abt it - yuu is a mix of azura/shigure - usually uses a naginata more than anything else, but could use katanas (or even the Nohrian lances) - has tried tomes before, and REALLY REALLY hates them - still as ditsy as his anime/manga counterpart, but smarter and more serious - ^actually pretty bad at conveying emotion, like canon azura - when he sings, his eyes turn blue(?) - he knows abt valla - although he's (sorta) bad at maneuvering in it when he first got there (ie after guren as arete got married, he moved to Nohr to marry the king (Ferid ew) and miraculously had yuu because vallans(?) are magical and the women and men can have children - his color scheme matches azura's, although has some shigure elements in it -  A++ at singing and dancing, although he takes up the title 'songstress'(? what is the male version omg) - ^ if paired with either shinoa or mika, he will teach them to dance the vampires (led by Ferid Bathory) as Nohr - the vamps hire mercenaries and then turn them into vampires - they are, as the canon nohr is, cold, dark, and overall oppressive - Ferid's history with Valla is the same as king Garon's in game - ^ie he marries the ons arete, aka guren, and has our favorite yuu-chan - he kills kureto/krul(?)/whoever will be in place of hoshido (ie jida, so maybe not krul...oH SHINYA YEAHHHH) and takes mika or shinoa and drags he or she off to Nohr - mika is okay with ferid but thinks he's annoying, and shinoa outright loves/hates him - crowley is xander, krul is camilla, urd geales is leo, and lest karr is elise - jakob is lucal whesker, felicia is lacus and flora is renee - the nohrians have few retainers: saito (krul), ky luc (urd), gabel parthe (lest), fuola honte (ferid - as iago), noin teta (krul) (, chess belle, horn skuld (1 retainer per person besides crowley and krul - including ferid) - as well as in game, ferid has absolute no trust in you but usually follows his own advice instead of fuola's and thinks of his advisor as a nuisance - the retainers are modified according to their characters in game (ie not much is known about noin, so i can modify her all i want besides the fact that she hates the jida; ie chess and horn are romantically attracted to crowley, so that will stay) - ferid, ulike garon. is not possessed in any way but is just how is, ie evil, sarcastic, sadistic, and petty as well as a perv (lol) - unlike how garon is,he actually really loved guren (and also unlike the game guren didn't like him back - he deSPISED him) -  ^ the way ferid is in the present happened because of guren's 'death' (more in the valla section) - crowley is like super bloodthirsty after shinoa/mika chooses hoshido sooooo yeah - lest literally tries to stop crowley in his own weird lest way but, like elise when she tries to persuade xander, is killed in a kamikaze mission, although he doesn't necessarily jump in front of mika/shinoa like elise does to corrin - by the time shinoa/mika reaches ferid, he's literally just bawling his eyes out (since apparently he has time to do that during war) and fuola is not present; ferid cries over a picture of guren (who had previously been thought dead before mika/shinoa went to hoshido but was then found out (lol) and bc of that ferid just hates the hoshidans more so tht does literally nothing but make him a depressed idiot (he's pretty difficult to save though even while depressed so)  the JIDA (led by Shinya Hiiragi) as Hoshido - woO MAMA SHINYA ISN'T SO MAMA ANYMORE - ^ jk he still kinda is, but not as much as the fandom makes him out to be and he def not as motherly as mikoto - he's more fatherly lmao - he is in a relationship with guren atm (ur like 'woah he's alive??? wut') - the jida are still in fact called hoshido lmao - they aren't as sunny as the hoshidans because of mahiru... who is currently gonna be anankos for now thanks - Shinya knows where, what, and how to get to valla via guren, because they are a happy couple - please let them be happy - psyche THAT IS NOT GONNA HAPPEN - ANYWAY... as shinya finds mika/shinoa/omg wth, he is noT- I SAY, NOT- KILLED but is saved by guren, who is present at the moment - and this is where the feels train starts - guren, sadly, dies, yes, dies, like, the dying that means your life blood is sucked out of your veins and slowly drains you of your soul, body, and mind because yoU ARE DYING GOD JFC - anyway, about that- shinya gets super pissed lol like absolutely agent cheeto 2017 election pissed (@guren lol)  but doesn't kick mika/shinoa's butte since he knows it's not his/her fault (kinda like ryouma in game) - as guren starts to die, shinya just takes him back to the castle to a 'special room' – no it's not for the x rated stuff it is a practical vallan regeneration chamber - jesus you have a dirty mind - anyway, of course shinya's (adopted) kids start to hate shinoa/mika cause they're like 'omg you just killed my mom' since they aren't let in on the vallan secret >>>>>>:00000 - sayuri is ryouma, narumi is hinoka, kimizuki is taKUMI YEAHHH, yoichi is sakura because heck yeah – ps there will be yuuyoi/yoiyuu interaction - the retainers (they have so many more than nohr lmao) are: norito goshi (yoichi), mito jujo (sayuri), aoi sangu (guren+shinya's advisor), shigure yukimi (sayuri), aiko aihara (kimizuki), shusaku iwasaki (narumi), and mitsuba sangu (who was technically hired to be shinoa/mika's retainer as a child, but since corrin in game was taken away, she became a strategist and the back-and-forth retainer of kimizuki and yoichi, the bros who usually work in a team (when mika/shinoa come back, she's overjoyed and doesn't mind the nohrian attack on guren) (:0000 jk it's cause she obv remembers mika/shinoa and wants to be his/her retainer ) - the retainers know about guren's 'ability' and were appointed to their retainer to reveal the ability to the noble children (sometime in the very very very very very far future) - kimizuki, like takumi in conquest, does indeed do become possessed by a vallan 9APPARENTLY ITS 'VALLITE') (ie a demon) but only for a short while when he is fighting against mika/shinoa with yoichi in like chapter 28 or something lol - hoWEVER HE DOESN'T DIE LIKE TAKUMI DID OKAY he just like gets calmed by yoichi because unlike takumi, who was fighting solo, kimizuki is with yoichi/sakura so is calmed and coaxed out of pairing with the vallite demon and jUMPING OFF A FREAKING CLIFF Demons/People able to harbor Demons as Valla - okay, this is probably the most complicated out of all of them - Guren, Yuu, AND Shinya are from Valla (as well as the actual demons like kiseki-o and asuramaru and mahiru... sort of) - Kiseki-o and Asura are buddies in Valla (Asura is like.... the hoshidan lilith because of yuu and kiseki-o is the nohrian one; yes i know lilith is not a vallite shut up) – kiseki-o is an evil son of a biatch and is the one who possesses kimizuki/takumi under ferid's request – despite this asura is still chill with him bc they're of the same kind so - Guren is the queen... king of valla and yuu is the princess lmaooooo - contrary to the game, i'm being a rebel and having azura and corrin not be cousins (ie hence why shinya and guren are a couple and not siblings because i don't support incest) - also, i'm also thinkig that guren had yuu before he remarried to ferid, and ferid trying to try his best to impress the son and ultimately failing, only to be happy because oh yuu felt bad and tried his hardest to like ferid - eventually he hated him because he thought that ferid had killed guren after his disappearance, and marched on out to the hoshidan/nohr borders at the bottomless canyon to jump back to valla only to be captured by the hoshians he despised (then found out they weren't so bad) and found his mom again - he still hated ferid – suCK IT FERID - okay, so since vallites are the demons in ons, they can regenerate - slowly but surely (takes like a couple of years, unless ur a nobLE) - after the process of regenerating, their timeline is reset so that they look young, but they age and die just like a regular person would (only they would just look young while dying so) – if that's too hard to grasp, here's an easier summary of it: when a vallite dies at a certain age, they will be able to regenerate if his/her body is preserved well enough. once they regenerate, they will look the same as when they died but will also resume the appropriate amount of years that passed when they were dead – so basically they look young but are actually old - and, again, unlike the game, i am having shinya be vallite, only he is a mixed blood vallite (ie half human half vallite) so his regeneration periods trigger less often than a full vallite would - so he looks older than guren but they're the same age lol (which is probably like 30-40 or something, not around 20 like in ons) - guren's regeneration period takes less time since he is a noble of valla, so it would only take him like 2/4 to 3/4 of a year to regenerate - shinya and guren decided not to tell the royal hoshidan children that they were vallite because that would just blur the lines between what is hoshidan and what is vallite - mahiru ties into this because i will have anankos, yes the evil eye dragon thing, be vallite - my history between mahiru and guren confusing bc wow, shinya is also a dragon but can't activaye his powers because mahiru's the one that got the whole dragon blood blah blah, it took her over and she ended up lethally wounding guren, destroying valla (pretty much), and ultimately ruining her relationship with yuu - the hiiragis and the itchynoses had a long history of continuously switching between love and hate, and in guren's gen, he was mahiru's fiancee and had yuu with her, so yeah yuu's also part dragon like azura is in game – good job memu aka me, myself and i for staying somewhat close to the actual fe: fates storyline - anywhoo, as you know, the bottomless canyon (the first actual battle in fe: fates) is a gateway from valla to the real world so ofc guren went that way when he escaped valla (because the way from like bodies of water was blocked off since mahiru literally destroyed everything) so he had to take that way - he tried to take shinya with him, but shinya insisted it would be important for the noble queen (lol) to go escape to safety first, so, after much persuading, guren went without shinya - then he was captured by nohrians after literally not knowing where he was (since he didn't know about the bottomless canyon and just escaped using instinct) and was taken to ferid, who freaking experienced love at first sight – ferid u bich u don't deserve true love - guren didn't feel the same way but thought he was a nice guy so he married the dude – what a freaking nice guy amirite - going back to shinya, there was one lake in the middle of valla (there really isn't one ingame so) and he escaped using that, since it was a portal that all travelers going to valla went through without passing in through the gates (sincethere was a border gate with guards there) and it led to a lake that was around the perimeter of hoshido, which had tenri hiiragi and kureto hiiragi as king and prince in line (this is the time when ferid is like a teen and hoshido and nohr don't hate each other yet) and shinya was put in place as next prince (since hoshidan was first started by vallites ie the hiiragi line, who was more idealistic and hated the fact that valla was a 'dreamlike' place that you could never talk about (since the rainbow sage (aka a really powerful sorcerer who was literally on no side but did what he thought was right) placed a curse on valla) and preferred the real world to valla – short version of what the hell i just said: the true hoshidans were vallites that hated valla and wanted a more realistic place to live that you could actually talk about without dying - shinya missed guren as kureto died early after tenri's rule and he was placed the king and was appalled to see the guy he missed with disgusting lovesickness in the middle show up after a couple years (ie like two decades yeesh) and at this time, ( i lied guren didn't disappear he was done without consent then was 'killed' by nohrian soldiers (and then regenerated since they didn't really kil him but just made him unconcious) and decided to leave nohr - he thought yuu was happy in nohr (he was - he didn't even mind the cold, dark space until he went to hoshido) so guren left him there - shinya then made preparations for guren after he arrived and after like two years they married (and not just to carry on the hiiragi-ichinose name that was planned) and they adopted children (since vallites can only have one child) - vallite men and women can reproduce - it's kinda like omegaverse, a/b/o, but without the ranks - really only the royals, nobles, and a select few people of the male gender can reproduce  - it goes like that for women that can give the men the reproduction system too okay, so now that i've come up with the basic stuff i can get on to the more relationship-building unnecessary things lol support conversations of course, just like what is customary of the fire emblem series, support conversations would probably be present in this crossover the support conversations would have the standard format: C, B, A, S or A+ *A+ os for very good friends - it acts like an S support without actually binding the two people in marriage the supports would go something like this: Mika; in revelations (himself), birthright (hoshido), or conquest (nohr): Yuu (C,B,A, and S), Mitsuba (C,B,A,A+), Lacus (C,B,A,A+), and Renee (C,B,A) are the mains bc they will go with any path (since mitsuba, as mika/shinoa's retainer will be required to follow him/her) in conquest: Ferid (C,B,A), Crowley (C,B,A), Krul (C,B,A,A+), Urd (C,B,A), Lest (C,B,A), Kiseki-O (C,B,A) and all of the nohrian retainers in hoshido: Shinya (C,B,A), Guren (C,B,A), Sayuri (C,B,A), Narumi (C,B,A), Kimizuki (C,B,A,A+), Yoichi (C,B,A,A+), Asuramaru (C,B,A) and all of the hoshidan retainers Shinoa; prettt much whatever mika's supports are for revelations/hoshido and hoshido except her convos with Mitsuba are C,B,A,S Yuu; in revelations/conquest/birthright: Mika (C,B,A,S), Shinoa (C,B,A,S), Guren (C,B,A,A+), Shinya (C,B,A,A+), Asuramaru (C,B,A,S) bc yes yuu can marry his demon lol, Kiseki-O (C,B,A), Sayuri (C,B,A), Narumi (C,B,A,A+), Kimizuki (C,B,A,S), Yoichi (C,B,A,S), Mitsuba (C,B,A,A+), Ferid (C,B,A,S) for those feriyuu shippers lmao, and the nohrian/hoshidan retainers for conquest/birthright respectively Guren; Shinya (C,B,A,S) because technically their supports should already be filled out since they're married but they're not bc fe is odd, Yuu, Mika/Shinoa, Mitsuba (C,B,A), Sayuri (C,B,A), Narumi (C,B,A), Kimizuki (C,B,A), Yoichi (C,B,A), Ferid (C,B,A,A+) for those who really ship guren and ferid you arE WELCOME, Asuramaru (C,B,A), Kiseki-O (C,B,A) and the nohrian retainers Shinya; p much the same as Guren's without any Ferid Ferid; Guren, Yuu, Mika, Krul (C,B,A,A+), Crowley (C,B,A,A+), Urd (C,B,A), Lest (C,B,A) and the nohrian retainers i really don't want to keep listing out the supports lol but i think it's pretty explanatory since the nohrians keep to the nohrian side and the hoshidans keep to the hoshidan side and there are some stragglers who go in between both of those and yeet for those who really like pairings, these are the main ones: mikayuu yuunoa feriguren shingure/gureshin mitsunoa kimiyuu yuuyoi/yoiyuu there's probably more but i'm too lazy to go back and read the whole entire thing from start to beginning again so yeah ^ if you have more headcanons for this then feel free to inbox me lol
