Here's my sakura ships!

Now while I was searching through Naruto's characters, i did find others that I'm pretty sure I also shipped? Or at least saw a fanart piece of them and thought they looked cute together, I'm not sure. But I figured I'd just draw the ones I for sure KNOW I shipped or liked, ones that I really remember.

(I remember most of the ships I didn't include being villains or the bad guys. maybe i just art or sakura joining the itachi club guys, ya'll remember those? That's probably where I got it from)

Anyway! I also wanna point out I haven't seen naruto in YEARS. I watched like maybe a few seasons as a kid when I first discovered YouTube or the internet, so I never finished it and still haven't watched the rest since I'd have to rewatch it all. So apologies if I get some stuff wrong or don't know what I'm talking about lore wise, I just finished drawing these, got a headache, and I need to let my eyes and brain rest, so sorry for any typos and repeating words! Not doing or seeing well!

1. how would you describe your art style? uhhhhhhhh, maybe "safe" is the word rn. whenever I think of my art style, what comes to mind is just how little I've been pushing things with it. I wanna change that ;D

2. what's your favorite thing about your style? I realize I like to use semi-realistic proportions, its cool how comfortable I've gotten with drawing faces and bodies

3. what's your least favorite thing about your style? It's so static man. same thing I said for the first question, I don't think anything really looks bad, but it just is lacking in creativity in comparison to the older art that should be looking worse than what I do now. I prefer my older stuff ;D (looking at you inktobertale2021.. where did it all go wrong)

4. favorite thing to draw? regular ol people. human characters are def more in my comfort zone, which explains why I keep hitting skeletons with the humanization ray (also I prefer to draw feminine characters)

5. least favorite thing to draw? I can't even say I rlly dislike it cuz of how rarely I even do it, but I am procrastinating so hard on learning backgrounds..

6. warm colors or cool colors? cool colors are my fav, but i find it easier to work with warm ones (I used to put a cool overlay over all my warm toned drawings hgdhfg)

7. show us a WIP behold, the wip ever. this drawing... was supposed to be posted on august 2022. and then, it was supposed to be posted on dec 21st, dream and nightmares birthday. (atp if I do end up wanting to finish this idea again, I'll probably just scrap it and start over)

8. what's the most fun and least fun parts about your process? most fun is flat color and rendering. (though I rarely do the latter anymore) and for least fun, tbh a lot of the sketching part tends to be difficult for me, sometimes its cool tho

10. how many different sketches do you usually have until your piece is finished? I think I do need to make more of at least thumbnail sketches tbh.. Hello there! I've been following you for a while now but only really got to reading your demo now and I loved it!

Also, my taste in fictional men is honestly questionable because so far my fav is Ilijah sorry but not sorry, I love the seemingly cold/distant characters that put up a front <3

But overall I like all the ROs so far, which isn't always the case for me, heh :D

I've got a tiny question though! I scrolled through your blog a bit and liked a lot of stuff, I hope you don't mind that spam lol and I came across a post from earlier this year of you drawing V. At least so far I only found art of them. Now I'm wondering if you intend to draw the other ROs as well? Not only is your style very cute, I also have an easier time picturing and doodling when I've got a visual reference.

I certainly don't mind the likes spam! And you're correct in that they're the only one I've posted art of so far. I certainly do intend on drawing all of the ROs, hopefully a lot better now too! Unfortunately I'm quite a perfectionist when it comes to my art, particularly when it's characters I need to look a certain way. But I think I've reached a point where I'm happy with my style and can create consistent works. And thank you for saying my style is cute, though I'd like to think I've improved since then :)

BANKAI I'D LOVE TO SEE

Okay, a few words before we go into this.

This list will consist of non-captain characters, except for three. How else, since we see almost every Captain's Bankai. But there are other Shinigami who I'm really curious what their Bankai would be, were they to achieve it. And technically, every Shinigami has the potential to achieve it, as we see with the Lieutenants who do.

And I am also aware that Kubo had only limited time and space, that he couldn't give EVERY somewhat major Shinigmai a Bankai. Wouldn't even have been possible, for several reasons. Still... as I'll be mentioning later down the line, there are some characters I'd wish we had even just as much as a single picture, like we do in Hisagi's and Shinji's case. I know that stuff has gone down behind the curtains, and that Kubo hasn't been able to draw everything he wanted, but still. Pleeeeease, Kubo-sama, maybe just single pictures, at least? Just one for each missing Bankai, like you drew them for Hisagi and Shinji? I'd be already very happy with only that.

And yes, we fans can come up with our own ideas, but the point is: What would Kubo himself come up with? That's what I personally am so super curious about. Mainly regarding the design, since one could guess at the powers a little from the Shinigamis' Shikai. Don't get me wrong, I would still love to have a complete explanation of the Bankais' powers, but their designs is the other half of the coin. And Kubo proved to come up with some very creative and interesting stuff. So yeah, I am interested in both, but primarily the designs.

Oh, and lastly, you won't find Yoruichi on here, cause she doesn't even use a Zanpakuto. We'd first have to see that before we can even begin to talk about her Bankai.

Okay, on to the list now.

ISSHIN AND JUSHIRO!!!

Okay, I have to admit: Despite me trying not to be, I am still somewhat super angry that we didn't get Bankai for these two. Especially after freaking KENPACHI got a Bankai, when he didn't even know his sword's name for almost the entire series. Not only are they among my fav characters; but Isshin had the perfect opportunity to show his during the Thousand Year Blood War arc. I mean, come on - you can't just hype a Bankai up by telling us via Aizen how strong it is, and then just not show it! Never mind that Isshin was shown to still be an incredibly strong Shinigami, even after 20 years without his powers. So come on, give him a proper fight. And in Ukitake's case, it is just one more thorn in my heart, cause he was always in Shunsui's shadow anyways. Shunsui got all the attention, while Ukitake got nothing (no worries, I don't hate Shunsui or anything, I just find it a little unfair. I still like Shunsui well enough). Even though he is one of only two dual-wielding Shinigami (at least until Ichigo came along with is dual wield). Doesn't that make one curious as what his Bankai would be? And no, the Beyond Bankai form of his in Bleach Brave Souls is NOT his Bankai. As cool as that form is.

At any rate, until the TYBW anime is over, I will keep hoping that we might get to see one or both of these there. Or maybe that the official illustrations I mentioned above might pop up one day.

AIZEN

I mean, come on - do I need really to explain? XD The handful of people who do not want to see it raise their hands now. Is quicker to count than those who want. XD

MATSUMOTO

Hm, her Zanpakuto is based on a cat and on ash? What would Kubo have cooked up for her if he gave her a Bankai? Especially in regards to design. Also, fun fact for those who might not yet now: In the data book, there was once a mistranslation, where it stood that Rangiku had achieved Bankai by the TYBW, when in fact she never had. Kubo himself was puzzled on how that mistake got in there.

KAIEN

His Shikai, which we got to see thanks to Aaroniero, is already interesting. I bet his Bankai would have been a really cool, water based one. Wait, do we even have any water based Bankai? We have fire, ice, lightning, poison... but no water??? Makes me want to see Kaien's Bankai even more.

HINAMORI

I don't know why, but I would really like to see the Bankai for her. I mean, it would be interesting to see a more gentle girl like her wielding a fire Bankai, wouldn't it? Once again, it is mainly the design aspect I am interested in here.

YUMICHIKA

Well, my interest in his Bankai grew after the reveal that the Shikai of his Zanpakuto he used for the longest time wasn't even the real Shikai. And for some reason, I have the image I have in my head when thinking of Yumichika's Bankai is either peacock or bird of paradise. XD

ISANE

This one's coming right out of the left field, huh? n.n Any of you expected to find her here? Well, I just thought it would be nice to see a second healing Bankai. And Isane is an okay character, not the best, but certainly not bad either. So why not wanting to see her Bankai? Especially since Unohana's Bankai is the only one not purely for combat. So yeah, would be nice to have a second one.

KAZUI AND ICHIKA

And lastly, of course, the new generation. Come on, considering who their parents are - wouldn't you love to see their Bankai too? Oh, uhm... maybe I broke my own rule a little here. I mean, we see nothing of their Zanpakutos yet; we know they have them, but we haven't seen their powers in action yet. Hm, wait... they're still extremely young tho. I think it's okay to have them on here while leaving Yoruichi out. After all, Kazui and Ichika NOT using their Zanpakuto like Yoruichi is highly unlikely. But who knows, if the Hell Arc continues, maybe we'll see some of it. And I rest my case, I'd love to see their Bankai. After seeing the rest of their powers first. ;) Is Ichika's Zanpakuto maybe ice based, like her mother's? Or is it something completely different from either her parents? Maybe not even based on an element, like Renji's isn't either? Does Kazui continue the trend of -getsu after Engetsu and Zangetsu? And after seeing Isshin's and Ichigo's Zanpakutos, what powers will his have?

a NOTP I have with said character: honestly at this point I'm wondering if I should take this question out, lmao, I'm so terrible at answering it >> probably Taka is the closest I can think of one, though. if it's done respectfully I don't really mind, but in canon their master/servant whole trope and how their interactions are coded ingame isn't so much my thing.

a random headcanon: I really enjoy the headcanon you've shared before, that she colors her hair and wears contacts to look more like Radomus and Serra! I think she looks really pretty with dark hair and the headcanon is really sweet.

general opinion over said character: really love her! she was kinda neutral middle of the pack for a while for me but I really started getting a lot more appreciation for her. I love her character design aesthetic, too, so that's a big bonus. she slays like nobody's business

a ship I have with said character: takace / royalcourtshipping my beloved. their relationship is one of my favs in the game, and they're rlly fun to both write and draw. their dialogue with each other ingame is super 🏳️‍🌈 and I love their dynamics and interactions, how Ace uplifts and encourages him to be himself while he helps them feel more grounded/relaxed. they're everything to me <3

a BROTP I have with said character: the main three Meteor admins (Taka, ZEL, Ace) all being friends is a super important friendship to me hehe. I love the three (technically, five) of them just being chill and being friends. I imagine he and Ace would be very much like... probably some of the only people in Meteor to acknowledge ZEL as "yeah these are all distinct and individual people outside of ZEL"? like Solaris acknowledges Eve but she's also like, the only one of them that has value to him, so, idk. I just think the three of them being close friends is something that can be so personal okay

a NOTP I have with said character: as mentioned before, Luna, probably, unless done respectfully. I don't really have many strong feelings about NOTPs or shipping, though.

a random headcanon: his Komala was a gift from Ace! it's the only shiny on his team and I just thought it really makes a lot of sense and is super cute. another one if that doesn't count is that he enjoys collecting different colors and patterns of scarves!

general opinion over said character: wet pathetic rat /lh. I think he's v sweet and interesting and I love his dynamics with other characters a lot! his fit does not slay (but I admire the sweatpants-to-work hustle) but it's ok Luna and Ace and ZEL make up for it for him.

3. What ideas come from when you were little

well Very Little Me ala elementary school exclusively drew cats and dragons and digimon and neopets and i feel like a lot of that no longer exists in my art outside of very vague plans to one day get back into just making funky technicolor animals for the hell of it

but like in terms of character and story concepts funnily enough, i feel like what i enjoy and really want to achieve now is essentially what Middle School Little Me deeply wanted to draw but adamantly refused themself on principle due to a lot of internalized ideas about what makes "good" and "bad" characters

like little me loved reading cheap mangas and watching cruddy AMVs and reading edgy over-dramatic short stories and looking at people's neon winged scene cat OCs on devianart but also refused to let themself publicly acknowledge liking any of these things, much less allowed themself to draw them, and thus existed in this sort of tense "ohhhh i hate you so much you're So Cool and Look So Fun but that's because you're Bad and Terrible and therefore my stuff is So Much Better™ because it's Boring and not you" phase for years until i got into VOCALOID and realized "wait drawing anime crap fucks" and never looked back ADKJHAKL

like my typical pre-VOCALOID OC would have been Some Guy™ with an Exceptionally Normal Life™ who had a Weird Science Thing™ happen to him that i'd then have to explain for 30 pages before i lost interest and dropped like a rock, but my typical post-VOCALOID OC is literally like

"okay so basically they're a cassette tape who's been animated by this hell facility and is maybe magic but is also maybe just the secondary protagonist projecting herself onto the tape as she's done with the other 7 junk people here but ALSO they're special because they can see alternate timelines and they don't speak but people understand them because they talk through implied second person narration like an RPG protagonist. this is a canon, in-meta aspect of their character. do not steal."

ww that aside, art style-wise at least, i can Definitely Say™ that while a lot of my middle school art style has kind of disappeared over the years, that thing where i draw the hips forward and the legs pointed back a bit with the whole body kind of forming an acute angle that is absolutely something middle school me discovered that i have yet to figure out how to break AKDJHALDKJ

m m m m i know i definitely love drawing big baggy clothes that obscure the form underneath because heehee easy to take shortcuts, and y'all Know™ i like drawing cool boots because i have my own boots to reference 24/7 and thus it's second nature at this point, but i don't know if i have a favorite piece of clothing specifically??

i like scarves, i like hoodies, i like boots, i like oversized jackets, i like gloves, i like front-brimmed hats , , , , ,

still haven't figured out how to make dresses that make sense though and that kills me every day 😭

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what?

i do ! ! ! and more often than not it is one of two massive playlists i have that each contain upwards of 1500 vocalo works because i physically cannot get enough of these funky little vocal synths AKDJHADLKJ

admittedly nowadays it's moved on from being exclusively VOCALOID/UTAU + some nostalgic touhou classics and has been peppered more and more with non-vocal synth works ala syudou's non-vocalo things, su lee, bill wurtz, woodkid, sigur rós, and a small smattering of other artists (though again the playlist is 99.9% vocal synth www)

Okay, so this is...round 3? Of me attempting to make a pinned post for this blog. It's. really hard. I want to make something that perfectly encapsulates what to expect on my blog, so...well, pretty much entirely so I hopefully diffuse any difficult situations before they happen.

I am a multishipper, with a huge love for horror, angst, hurt/comfort, whump, other kinds of dark content, villains, tragic backstories, and redemption arcs. I love to write and draw, and initially made this blog for...well, gore drawings primarily, but it's kind of not panning out that way due to my currently limited ability to draw. Still; if anyone needs/wants something blacklisted and that I haven't yet done, please feel free to ask! (Politely.)

I also love other kinds of more lighthearted content, and I think if anyone's going to mistakenly wander onto this blog thinking my username's intentionally ironic, it's probably for future posts of this nature.

I go in and out of hyperfixations like an absolute bitch, so right now this is primarily a Genshin Impact-focused blog. I might switch the focus later, or it might get really quiet in here, it kind of remains to be seen. But I currently should be in this hyperfixation for quite a while longer.

The purposes of this blog is for me to post whatever the heck I feel like posting whenever the heck I want, so no I will not be taking any "why post x when you can post y?"-type asks, and I will only tag and label things, not remove them. If you send me this kind of thing, you will be blocked.

Basically any time I get really into writing a character, I tend to append a tragic backstory to them (if canon doesn't provide one), and they can wind up a much, much more softened/sympathetic version of themselves compared to canon. This...isn't fully intentional, it just keeps happening.

At some point, I'll probably add a specific tag to blacklist so if anyone doesn't want to see my versions of this or that character, they can just...avoid it like the plague-- If I do make that tag, it'll go here!

Feel free to send me asks about...basically anything! But do be prepared for an infodump if I feel strongly enough about something. (I'll try to keep the infodumping to positive things, however!)

SOBS I wanna be cheeky and say the Boogieman or Bonesy or someone like that but I'll be good. Even if it tears me apart. I *guess* I would say Noodle, purely because I used to not draw her at all (but now I do so who knows)

12. how did you get into them?

It was a *lot* of factors, very slow burn. First it was my dad just happened to have a copy of Demon Days, and back then he used to play it over and over and little kid me really really liked it (he used to let me hold the cover while it was in the stereo and I would just stare at the art on the cover and think it was the most beautiful drawing ever 😭) Then, I just happened to get really upset one day when I was like 13 and the only thing that would calm me down was Feel Good Inc, so I played it on loop, and when it started to wear off I branched out to other Gorillaz songs. Then eventually I got onto the lore. Then I got deeper into the lore. Then I got deeper into the- I've yet to stop! But yeah if it hadn't been for a few people letting me infodump about them the interest probably would've died out at some point, but I'm glad it didn't

What ideas come from when you were little

Not sure if it means past projects that survived to this day, or just general motifs/parts of my artstyle that have made it to my present. If it's about past projects… none really, all my past OCs and stories have died some way or another 😔 My oldest OC right now, Diana, I plan to use in my new project as a supporting character, so maybe her! As for my style and such, I think the "I wanna draw pretty girls, with pretty hair and pretty outfits" of my childhood never left hahah Those are still my fav, and easiest, thing to draw~

4. Fav character/subject that’s a bitch to draw Well, there's a few like this? Idk, Ruggie and Sebek fall in this category for sure 🤔 Malleus too. And then, some of my other favs that are "manlier" from other media as well, like Xander from FE:Fates. I can't think of more like that rn, but I am working hard(?) to be able to draw muscles and manly so I can have the best of both worlds 💪😔 hahah

14. Any favorite motifs This is a bit broad for drawing 🤔 But I'd say some stuff for mine would be: pastel/soft colours, really blended shadding borders, flowy fabric with lots of details, frills, etc. and cute things. Also, I love drawing blushes, so adorable!

No zines, but I've joined oc x canon week and a couple Twisted Wonderland October events in the past (not the same both times so asklhfaslk). I also participated in a fem!twst collab in the past! And I'm active right now in the twst-charity project, does this count here?

What piece of yours do you think is underrated

TBH, any full rendered art that takes me a few days or even weeks. Those usually are the one with less interactions/appreciation 😭 (Still sad about my Epel Harveston drawing XD. Or how my van Zieks polished art got less interactions than the Susato one, which was doodle-ish with colour 😭) I mean, they're not perfect, but I put so much effort in those arts 😔 Forever sad about this topic.

sollux: incredible perfection amazingness my sun my shining star. ok so basically he got ZERO screentime in canon despite being objectively one of the coolest characters. hes like. a hacker and a little shit but he saves everyones lives multiple times. thats him.

gamzee: i know some people like him but. mm. :/. basically he is a murderous juggalo. hes doped up all the time but once he gets sober he murders a large portion of the cast. so that happens.

feferi: princess! shes either super sweet or very white knighty/privileged. i honestly havent figured it out yet. she didnt get a lot of canon screentime so

nepeta: CAT GIRL oh my god she deserved to live. oh precious sweet nepeta. she draws shipping charts and likes to roleplay as a cat.

eridan: he was a bitch and flirted with everyone who looked at him (and some who didnt). typically hes hated on but ive come around to him more recently since he was pretty young and rereading some of his dialogue is tragic.

Another problem is that I maaaaay bottle up my emotions a lot and then tell people not to do that like a dumbass lmao

Aaand I also am a lousy multitasker- Like I cannot concentrate on more than one thing- especially auditory things! So if I'm doing something it's gonna take like 10 tries to get my attention by just talking- honestly just come up to me and tap me on the shoulder a bunch of times

And lastly, I'm very impulsive! Like impulse spending included- if I think something is funny I'm doing/buying it. No questions asked.

Alright, onto my Hobbies!

I love to draw! I have been doing so for about 10 years now, and I'm not thinking of stopping anytime soon! 5 y/o me made the right choice to copy my sister with doing art as well >:)

I also love to play video games hehe- I prefer singleplayer, but I can do multi if I play with friends! Especially for stuff like Identity V- I'm not going in without at least one other person! That being said, my fav genres atm would probably be RPGs, Indies and horror! Horror doesn't give me the scares at all but it's amusing nonetheless!

I also really really love listening to music! I cannot go without it since I don't like it when theres a lot of people talking (either in general or to me)- my fav genre will always be Jazz or honestly Breakcore ATM!! It does the scritch scratchy on my brain well...

Oh and I also roleplay a lot I GUESS- I just have so many characters what would I ever do with them!!

I would say that I'm a fairly decent writer, I can definitely write a good few at most 10k character long response-

I find astrology very interesting!! It's just something I've been wanting to get into for sooo long but I never have time auuugh

Anyway!! My signs are:

Alright, onto the actual good bits!

General personality traits I have, regardless of who I am around:

Generally, I'd consider myself kind! I care for others needs more than mine and tend to forget about myself a lot- but hey! Others say that I'm easy to talk to!

I generally have a problem with taking things seriously! I dunno I just?? Can't get into the mindset of being serious when I need to be? Like I can't relate man-

Another problem is that I maaaaay bottle up my emotions a lot and then tell people not to do that like a dumbass lmao

Aaand I also am a lousy multitasker- Like I cannot concentrate on more than one thing- especially auditory things! So if I'm doing something it's gonna take like 10 tries to get my attention by just talking-

And lastly, I'm very impulsive! Like impulse spending included- if I think something is funny I'm doing/buying it. No questions asked.

Ok and now specific things:

How I act in public differs a lot from how I act online!! I seem a bit quiet and withdrawn but in reality I'm just anxious and awkward and literally don't know what to say since physically interacting is EXHAUSTING- Well it's slightly to my advantage anyways since I can't talk a lot cuz otherwise my throat starts to hurt badly!

But online or around friends will be a lot more! I think!!

This is generally where I put a LOT of my energy! I'm, well, energetic and such, and I am also super super chaotic! It ties in with the impulse thing lol- if it's cursed IM MAKING IT. As long as it's appropriate of course!!

I love to joke around with friends and tease them about stuff, though I'll stop if they express their discomfort! Hopefully not in a way that looks like joking to me though because otherwise I'm gonna misunderstand- it's generally good to use tone indicators around me!

I express myself and my opinions a lot more, and will speak up if there's something that I don't think is right. At least when It's a small group and not a whole server-

Hobbies!! I love to draw! I have been doing so for about 10 years now, and I'm not thinking of stopping anytime soon! 5 y/o me made the right choice to copy my sister with doing art as well >:)

I also love to play video games hehe- I prefer singleplayer, but I can do multi if I play with friends! Especially for stuff like Dead By Daylight- I'm not going in without at least one other person! That being said, my fav genres atm would probably be RPGs, Indies and horror! Horror doesn't give me the scares at all but it's amusing nonetheless!

I also really really love listening to music! I cannot go without it since I don't like it when theres a lot of people talking (either in general or to me)- my fav genre will always be Jazz

(I haven't played the new chp so this is all based off of what I remember from chp 1 lol) but she's super sweet, people oriented and friendly, but definitely more awkward generally (and especially around newer people) but this is mostly based off of vibes, if I'm honest !!

from cookie run, you remind me of pancake cookie !! they're a younger cookie, a little bit more childlike and wonderous, but enjoys playing with others and enjoys making new friends :] I really like them!!

from pokemon, I've decided to assign you both an actual pokemon and a character: for the pokemon, I think you remind me of the electric-type, emolga !! super cute and fun and a little mischievous!! and from pokemon swsh you remind me of Hop! he's really passionate and looks up to the people around him-- he's a bit bold and a little reckless at times, but he's very goal oriented and very personable!!

from danganronpa you remind me of aoi asahina !! she's super energetic and friendly, comes off as a little airheaded at times, but is really a sweetheart and loves taking care of others !!
