An important but also saddening aspect about B2's lore, is that she's directly influenced by the orbit of the comet her core is made off.
This means she "sleeps" for three years, before "waking up" for another three.
It would be very interesting if, instead of recharging through proximity, the comet actually takes power away the closer it is to her. So, during the three years gap she's "asleep", Holloway's Comet can be seen on a clear night sky β as if Bee is looking out for her friends from above.

I think the portrayal of Spider-Man 2099 in Across the Spider-Verse is in-character in that aside from like Shattered Dimensions he's always been portrayed as a bit of an asshole who slips into anti-hero territory at times and generally has a "needs of the many over the needs of the few" mindset and given his specific circumstances in the movie it's not unreasonable to think he could take the actions he does. However it does kinda suck that since like 99% of moviegoers had no idea who he was before the movie came out their first impression of him is when he's in an antagonistic role and people think "antagonist" and "villain" are synonyms so now I'm gonna have to listen to people who've never read a comic saying he's a villain or isn't a real Spider-Man for the rest of time or at least until he inevitably changes his mind in the third one.

Me, to friend: don't you hate it when you have those days where your heart is just mad and it beats REALLY hard at random moments, even when you're just sitting there, like not FAST but really hard and it is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE for no reason?
Friend: you know that's not normal right???
Me: you mean that doesn't happen to you?
Friend: NO, IT DOES NOT.
Me: ...please hold.
*five minutes later*
Me: so I talked to my mother and this might in fact be a highly hereditary genetic issue that both her and my grandma and my great grandma all had, who knew??? Anyway I need to see a doctor and I might need heart medication.
Friend: YA THINK?

Back to the grind tomorrow and lemme tell you what, while I do really enjoy tumblr I sure did like not having to be Online all the time during our break.. And I've been thinking that the amount I'm Online and Available will probably be much lower this year compared to the past. So if I'm not responding to asks as fast or posting as much or w/e, that's why!
Thanks for understanding π

There's bipartisan talks in US Congress to send back all Palestinians (yes even US born ones) back to Palestine via a bill
In my opinion every single member of Congress and staff showing support for the idea need to be removed from office, have their hard drives investigated, and banned from all levels of public service and public office until further notice.
Palestinans don't want to leave home, but Congress using US tax payer dollars to fund Israel to murder all Palestinians regardless of religion (yes, some of the Christian families who's ancestors knew Jesus Christ personally who had been living in Palestine have had their bloodlines fully eradicated) or ethnic status (there are US citizens who are mixed that have been unaccounted for or trapped in the bombing zone) is why Palestinians are US citizens and permanent residents in the first place.
Israel has universal health care, education, and access to US weapons because of Congress lying and gas lighting US tax payers about their spending. There would be no Israel if the US never got involved in the first place. And the majority of US citizens bipartisanly don't want to fund Israel at all at any level - we want our money to go to our infrastructure. It's ridiculous to suggest a mass deportation that would solve nothing the US masses want and only hurt more innocents.
Let it be known- that bill and backing it is an admission of guilt for the enthic cleaning and genocide of the Palestinians by the US government- US Congress is okay with sending unarmed civilians (even US citizens) to their deaths to hide their crimes.

its so weird thinking about childhood best friends you don't know anymore. like. the girl and her siblings who lived next door for year, who I used to considered my sister, who now looking back on it was probably my first crush ever, who swore we would grow up together, who was only 'visiting' her family for a month, turns out her parents lied to us, I never saw her again. the girls I went to summer to summer camp with every year and now I can barely remember there faces.
like. how are they doing?
I still can't conceptualize that these people who mattered *so* much to me are just... gone... chances are that I will never see them again, especially my best friend who's back in Pakistan, and even if I did, so much time has passed that I would most likely not recognize them even if I did see them.
