The YouTube video begins with a series of clips showing Y/N and Charles laughing, with intermittent shots of Y/N looking directly at the screen. "Charles Leclerc," Y/N warmly greets, resting her elbows on the table. "Welcome to our date."

Charles responds with a smile, settling back in his seat and gesturing around. "Y/N Y/LN, thank you. I'm very happy to be on our first date... here... with all these cameras," he remarks jokingly.

Y/N narrows her eyes slightly, briefly glancing around before refocusing on Charles with a hum. "I'm not sure what you're implying. This location is a solid 10 out of 10," she says, gesturing to their surroundings. "Besides, do you see the chicken?" she adds, plucking a single fry from her meal box and waving it in the air, awaiting his response.

"You mean the fry?" Charles chuckles, pointing. "That's not chicken."

Y/N takes a bite of the fry, pausing to swallow before clearing her throat. "I'm aware," she says with a dramatic tilt of her head and a tight-lipped smile. "I just grabbed it because I fancied a fry." 

"But anyway," she continues, circling back to the initial question, "do... you... see... the... chicken?" Sensing his hesitation, she places her hands firmly on the table. "Look at me. It's a simple yes or no, Charles."

"Well, actually, it's yes or yes," she corrects herself with two affirmative nods, before redirecting her attention back to him.

Charles responds with a smile, though his expression betrays his confusion, evident in the different angles of his raised eyebrows. "Yes, I see it, Y/N."

"And do you taste it?" Y/N asks slowly.

"I haven't yet..."

"So, what are you waiting for?" she claps her hands together, motioning towards the untouched box of food in front of him. "Don't be shy now."

Charles chuckles as he sits up in his chair and leans forward, rummaging through the food before pulling out a chicken nugget. As he dips the piece in some ketchup, his eyes meet Y/N's once more, her wide-eyed nod urging him on.

"Go on."

"Okay, okay," he says, taking a bite. "Mmm," he nods, almost as if someone were holding a gun to his head, compelling him to do so.

"Oh," Y/N purses her lips and shakes her head, "I don't like it when people make noises while eating."

"Uh," Charles swallows and chuckles, "sorry?"

Y/N shrugs. "It's okay, I forgive you."

"Anyway," she inhales deeply, "what do you think? That's some good chicken, right?"

"Yeah, actually, it is really good," Charles nods as he speaks.

Suddenly, the video cuts to a staff member in chicken shop attire standing behind the counter, wearing a smile while staring at the camera, unmoving.

Then, the video returns to Charles and Y/N.

As Charles takes another bite of his chicken nugget, Y/N casually asks, "Do you think our children will like chicken?"

Coughing sounds interrupt as Charles drops his chicken into the box, knocking his fist against his chest until the sound clears. His voice croaks as he speaks, his brows furrowing, "Our children? We're talking about children already?"

Y/N's composure cracks slightly as she chuckles, clearly amused by his reaction, and observes him reaching for a glass of water, taking large gulps. However, she quickly regains control, shrugging nonchalantly before continuing, "Well, yeah. I don't know about you, but I date for marriage—I want a little family of my own someday. Don't you?"

Charles rubs his eyebrows and places the glass back on the table. "Yes, I do want to have a family one day. But this feels like it's moving very fast, don't you think?"

Y/N shakes her head. "Not at all. To be honest, I want one boy and one girl. What about you?"

At Y/N's continued forwardness, Charles releases a laugh, visibly bewildered, before scratching at his beard in deep thought. Propping up his elbows on the table, he finally responds, "I think I want a boy."

"—And a girl," Y/N interjects, smiling expectantly.

Charles blurts out a laugh, clearly taken aback, before nodding. "Yeah, a girl too. I don't really mind."

"Great, so we're on the same page then."

The video cuts off again, this time to the entrance of the chicken shop, slowly panning into the empty and bright interior with multiple tables and chairs. The camera stops on the large menu, featuring pictures of chicken and fries, lingering for a few moments before cutting back to Charles and Y/N. 

However, this time Y/N is holding a piece of paper in front of her.

"So, I hear you're French?" Y/N glances up at Charles, noticing the grimace on his face. Quickly realising her mistake, she corrects herself, "Oh, hold on, no wait, don't kill me please. You speak French, but you're from Monaco—you don't claim France at all."

Charles laughs and nods in agreement. "Correct. I am Monegasque. Those are separate countries, yes."

Y/N purses her lips, her eyes flickering from side to side. "I know, I literally just said that." Clicking her tongue, she exhales a long breath and continues, "Anyway, what a coincidence. I'm actually trying to learn French."

Something flashes in Charles' eyes as he suddenly leans forward in his chair, his expression filled with keen interest. "Oh wow, tu l'es ? Comment vas-tu ?" (translation: "Oh wow, you are? How are you?")

Y/N freezes, her mouth parted slightly in a half-smile. For a moment, she just stares, clearly startled, before scratching the back of her neck and humming deep in thought. "Oh, okay, straight into the deep end, huh?" she chuckles and then blurts out, "Oui, oui?"

Charles tosses his head back, laughing, while Y/N folds her hands together, waiting expressionless for his laughter to subside. When he finally regains his composure, his eyes back on Y/N, she says, "Great, thanks."

"I'm sorry," Charles waves his hand in the air, "I just thought you'd know the basics already. My mistake."

Y/N narrows her gaze at him for a few moments before taking a deep breath. "Well, that's what I've got you here for." Clearing her throat, she tilts her gaze down at the paper and asks, "Let's start easy, shall we? I'm going to give you a few sentences in French, and you translate them back to me in English."

Charles furrows his brows. "Wouldn't it make more sense the other way around?"

"What can I say, I'm special," she shrugs, "I actually learn better this way."

"Ah, of course you are."

"Alright. Je t'aime."

"I love you," says Charles.

Y/N places her hand across her chest. "Aw, Charles. Dropping the L-bomb already, are we?"

Charles drags his teeth across his lower lip while shaking his head. "Next one, please."

“Veux-tu m'épouser?" (translation: "Will you marry me?")

Charles tilts his head sideways, an amused expression spreading across his face. “Seriously?”

Y/N clicks her tongue and shakes her head. “No, that doesn’t quite sound right. I think you might need to brush up on your French, Charles, because I’m pretty sure ‘Veux-tu m'épouser’ does not mean ‘seriously.’”

Exhaling a long breath, she rotates in her seat and straightens up. “Don’t worry though, I’ll give you another chance.”

Charles rolls his eyes playfully before releasing a whistle. Rubbing his hands together, he begins, “Will you marry me. That’s what it mea—”

“Charles!” Y/N's jaw drops as she interrupts him. “Well, I’m a hot commodity, you know? But I want to know, how would our marriage work? I mean, how long are you planning on racing, anyway?”

Charles smiles, slumping into his seat as he reaches for a fry and tosses it into his mouth. “I’m not sure, to be honest. I love racing and I want to be a world champion, so we’ll just have to see how long that takes.”

“You want to be a world champion, yet you extended your contract with Ferrari?” Y/N's brows furrow inquisitively. “That’s an interesting choice.”

A couple of chuckles escape Charles as he runs his hand up and down his neck, his gaze fixed on the half-empty box of food before him. After a moment's pause, he replies with a casual shrug, “They're like family to me. And honestly, when I see myself winning, it’s always with the Ferrari team by my side.”

“Fair enough,” Y/N exhales, her eyes widening as she claps her hands together. “I suppose I'll have to stock up on red outfits.”

Noticing Charles’ puzzled expression, Y/N theatrically rolls her eyes before explaining, “For our next date, silly. I’ll be your lucky charm, and then you can finally start winning and have a real shot at the World Championship.”

“Wow, how nice of you, Y/N,” Charles responds with a lazy smile. “Merci.”

“Oooh,” Y/N points at him, nodding in satisfaction, “I know that one. You’re welcome…”

“…Boyfriend?” she asks, narrowing her eyes at him. “What—what are we?”

He ponders for a moment, swaying slightly from side to side, then relents, “Okay, sure… girlfriend.”

The video cuts to the outro, displaying various polaroids of Y/N flashing by, accompanied by a text reading, ‘If you enjoyed the video, please don’t forget to like and subscribe for more! xx’.

2024 interest check results for both assassin's creed and tron merch...!

WOW, thank you for the unexpectedly huge turnout for charms in both franchises! the interest check's now finished and these are the resulting characters i'm working on based on the requests.

due to the huge list of characters, a total of 34 new designs, being way more than anticipated (especially for assassin's creed) along with the conflict of ac fans wanting 2 weeks vs tron fans wanting 4 weeks for a pre-order period, i'll take an extra week (thus making the pre-order period an "inbetween" of 3 weeks) to finish all the tron shaker charm designs and making better refined preview sketches for the ac charms!

for comparison, the "refined sketch preview" i can finish for 22 fullbody charms will look like the left but colored, you can easily picture how it'll look like when complete in the right 🫡 again, thank you so much for your overwhelming support, and i appreciate the patience and kindness to work things out with the huge output!

answers for questions i got in the interest checks below:

international shipping will be possible for the charms and assassin's creed stickers!! if you're only purchasing stickers though, a flat rate letter will be untracked due to how forever global stamps work, so please keep in touch to inform me of updates if you're not purchasing any charms that'll give you a tracked postage label.

i'll purchase extra stock more than the pre-ordered amounts in anticipation of B-grade manufacturing, selling charms for local marketplace if i choose to table one day, giveaways, etc, but only a modestly small quantity!!

i'll consider doing custom oc charm commissions for fullbody chibis and/or shakeable tamagotchi charms! it depends on if there's enough interest to fulfill vograce fees though, due to how expensive shipping can be across the globe from china (where vograce operates) to america (where i live).

you can purchase multiple charms at once!

due to the VERY large amount of characters for two huge franchises i'm ordering, i'll see if i can split the ac chibi charms and tron shakeable + candy bag charms to be their own separate orders. in the past though, with orders of huge quantities, production can take many weeks and then more weeks through overseas shipping; i'll be sure to regularly post updates on tumblr then to be transparent about the production process!

ARMY!!💜 Have you been well?? 💜 There isn't much time left before 2023 ends. Still, in a lot of ways it was a really special year and one that I'm thankful for. I dropped by to say a few words.

I made enlistment my focal point, around which I centered a lot of work and other stuff Since I wanted to show you things I had never been able to before this, I went to award shows by myself~ I attended big shows in Paris too~ I wanted to give you guys a really big gift before I enlisted and worked on a collab with a person I really admire a lot too~ I also prepared a lot of content so you could feel my warmth even just a little bit while we served~

I continued to live like that, extremely busy and working really hard and then, I enlisted. 😂😂

And just like that, I have already spent 9 months living as a soldier and am now already!!? preparing to welcome the year of my discharge from the military (Even though… I'll only be done towards the end, in October… 😢😂🫡)

What I feel right now is that I want to be able to be in front of you, showing you lots of cool things again, as soon as possible - that's all I can think about, that's how much I miss you guys! I miss the members as well, I worry about them too, but I also feel a sense of kinship… and draw strength from them too…! I can say this since I experienced it first but…! they're probably feeling the same as me where they are!!… hehe

Before going to bed, I think about a lot of stuff and come across a variety of dreams. Things that seemed so trivial and that I took for granted become the ideal, they help me soothe my fatigue and breathe a little easier for a little while. It'll probably be the same today, in the place I'll be spending my last night of the year? hehe I will soon have honestly and sincerely fulfilled my duty towards my nation, and that makes me start 2024 with even more energy and hope!!!

Anyways, I was definitely able stay strong and get through 2023 because of you guys. (It might seem out of the blue but I still wanted to express this feeling… 😅🤣)

i'm not really one for new years or rly doing anything for it, but i thought i should at least thank all my friends who have made this year infinitely better for me. i'm ngl, this year was really hard in many ways. it felt like me and my family particularly were hit with new things to deal with as soon as the old ones had ended, and we just desperately wanted a break.

"I'll take Yuki as my teammate. He's the local." You nodded as soon the the host concluded the rules to the challenge the two RedBull teams must complete. A tour around the city. Who ever takes the best pictures in 2 and a half hours with the Japanese city wins.

"If we want to make the best pictures, I think we have to look good ourselves first." You suggested as you carefully drove through the packed city of Tokyo. "Oh! That's a great idea." Yuki nodded, playing with the setting of the camera he was given.

"What's the best tourist places in our reach?" "Oh I know a really nice place."

"You guys are la- we lost." Daniel turned to Max after seeing you hop out of the Alpha Tauri themed car. "We lost?!" Max looked up shocked, only to see Yuki pull you out of the car.

"We lost." The Dutch man nodded, pursing his lips as he watched you walk towards where they were sitting in a kimono. "We forfeit! They won!" Max raised his hands up frowning playfully.

"We didn't go over the pictures yet." The host reasoned, laughing nervously as Max stood up to get a closer look at your clothing. "No need. Look at her." Max argued gesturing to you with both his hands.

Your team did end up winning with the best pictures. Max and Daniel's were either blury, them laughing or posing like the two idiots they are.

"Here you guys are." "Oh the thing is empty, we can write our names on it." Yuki laughed as the host gave you the little trophy. "Yuki deserves this one for being the best photographer." You praised handing the trophy to your teammate.

"Haha, I beat you." Yuki teased Max, sticking his tongue out at the red bull drivers. One laughed and the other forced his. You all took a photo together to lock in the memory, with Max standing beside you gently putting his hand on the small of your back.

"Yuki is cooking for us tonight!" Daniel cheered as he recorded Yuki making stir-fry on the stove, ordering Max around ( who for some reason decided to help with cutting some veggies up). You sat on the island counter watching quietly.

"Mate, I don't even know what I'm doing." Max laughed as he wiped his onion tears. "Thinner!" Yuki scolded making Daniel laugh and you chuckle. "Here." You offered, taking the knife from Max and doing his task instead, and perfectly as well.

"See! Thank you, Y/N. Max, your fired." Yuki joked as Daniel and Max laughed their asses of. "I dont even get paid." "Less food for you then."

"Your holding them- here." When the meal was ready and you all sat down to eat, Max watched as Yuki taught you how to hold your chopsticks, feeling his jaw clench with the way your hands were touching.

"You want some?" You offered Max the beef chops which were denied from him. "Please." He hummed leaning down so you could feed him. You chuckled watching his mouth his chase the beef as you pulled you chopsticks away jokingly.

And when it was time for bed, you waved good night to Yuki before catching a ride with Danny and Max to your hotel.

"Can we tall about what happened? In Australia?" He finally asked once he walked you to your room, watching you pause as you pressed your key card to the sensor.

". . . What happened in Australia?" You turned to face him confused, tilting your head trying to remember as you pushed the door open. "You know, when you got drunk and . . . Never mind." He waved his hand, dismissing his thoughts.

"No no, tell me." You instead turning your body to face his. "What happened in Australia?" "Nothing happened . . ." "You wouldn't have asked if there was nothing." You urged, folding your arms and waiting paitently. "You- . . . We made plans to have dinner together- and spend the break in Monaco, at mine."

He spoke slowly, fiddling with the wallet in his hands as he avoided eye contact with you. A small smile covered your face upon hearing his words. "Is that all, Max?" He hummed looking down at his shoes, giving a small nod. "Text me the details then. I'll be waiting."

"Good night, Max." He closed his eyes, feeling your soft lips peck his check. "Excuse me." He heard your door shut, feeling horrible for lying. He couldn't bring himself to leave. Like an addiction, Max felt like he was going through withdrawal. You were his drug. He needed you.

The feeling of your lips didn't belong on his cheek, but on his own lips, same way you showed him that night in Australia.

The Dutch man pulled himself together and walked down the hall to his own room, the room where he'd think about you all night with his hands in his pants.

It was your first time in Suzuka and you couldn't nail it like you 'should've'. "You okay?" You heard through your radio. You darkly chuckled as you assessed the damage taken on your car. "Fuck no. I want to fuckin drown my self."

Your PR manager had stayed by your side through the rest of the day with the fear that you'd actually follow through with your claim.

As if you'd give up now. You still needed to win a championship.

"I hate my life." You groaned, pushing Killian to the side to make space for your self on the small foldable chair. Your older brother pulled you on his lap, bouncing you as if you were two years old. "You don't." "I'm on one of the worst cars on the grid." You reasoned.

"Hey, have you seen Y/N?" Max looked up from his phone confused looking around your motorhome like a lost puppy, holding up two Redbull cans. The staff stared at him quietly pointing at the back outside where you were warming up.

He found you doing hand stands while chatting with Yuki. "He's like a duckling following its mum." Yuki commented quietly making Max frown in denial and shake his head quickly. Was Max following you around a lot? Maybe, yes. He even found himseld paying attention to detail; for example, he found out when and the only times you drink red bull, its the watermelon flavour.

So he was standing timidly holding out the red can for you. "Max?" You looked at him upside confused. "Thought you could use the extra fuel." He joked lightly making you chuckle, a small smile covering your face.

Although it was a disappointing race for you with P6 for you and P5 for Yuki, Max still dragged you out to celebrate his win. He kept you to his side the whole night sharing drinks and dancing to the beat of the music in a hidden corner.

He knew you probably wouldn't remember any of this like last time. The way your arms wrapped around his waist and the way you fit perfectly in his arms as you rocked gently. "Dafiiii awiiiii," [soooo warmmm] You giggled happily snuggling your body into his.

He caressed the back of your head pressing a soft kiss in the crook of your neck. Could he ever do this when you were sober? He wanted to hold your hand all the time, to hug you and shower you with affection and kisses and love. You brang him so much relief and comfort, he didn't want to be anywhere but with you. Maybe he is like a baby duckling following its mom.

Max knew it was wrong, but what was the harm in just one kiss.

You mumbled out loud as you avoided the few trucks that drove by. 'We need to go home.' "Right now, we have no home. So can you shut up while I find us one?!" You snapped halting in your steps out of anger.

Who were you shouting to? Yourself? Your voice of reason? Your consciousness? Were you finally going insane? You could only shake your head and continue walking. It was finally dawn by the time you reached your destination. The brisk weather of early morning Paris.

'Now what? It's not like he's waiting for us. And we dont have money to make a phone call. We don't even know his number to make a phone call. We don't even speak French.' "Shut up. We're fine. We're fine. We're fine. We. are fine."

The police found you first before you could find your uncle. You sat in a police station, looking between the two cops who tried to communicate you, quietly drinking through a warm cup of hot chocolate. You shrugged every now and then, telling them you didnt understand.

"Hey, c'est l'enfant disparu de Stuttgart?" [hey, is that the missing child from stuttgart] a lady officer walkd in confused. "Quoi?! Allemagne? Qu'est-ce que tu fais ici." [what?! germany? what are you doing here?] "Elle ne parle probablement pas français." [she probably doesn't speak french]. "English?" the lady offered but there was no reacion from you.

"Deutsch?" [german] Your eyes lit up at the familiar language, nodding quickly. "Was machst du hier? Deine Familie sucht dich zu Hause?" [what are you doing here your family is looking for you back home] You furrowed your eyebrows at the mention of the three males back 'home'. That was not your home. Neither were they your family.

"Ich suche meinen Onkel. Er wird mich aus deinen Händen nehmen . . . Bitte." [I'm looking for my uncle . . . he will take me off you hands] "sehr gut." [very well]

It wasn't long until Marwan was running into the station, with you running in his arms. "Bete3eli eh hena? Khaweftoina kolena." [what are you doing here? you scared us all] He scolded you but you could only begin to cry in his arms. He sighed caressing the back of your head as he lifted you up, taking you home home. Home where you grandparents had flew in after hearing the news of your disappearance and Home where aunt Khadija had been worriedly pacing the halls.

Home where you belonged.

so fun fact about this one i wrote it post quali, and i had planned to post it after the race was done so i a "pre-wrote" two endings. i wasn't going to because i was gonna be like "oh max will win but something bad might happen to daniel" so i had this ready to go:

and i was sitting in the grandstand watching max's car explode in the pitlane and all i could think about was "did i do this. again" and honestly who knows.

Daniel’s already lying down face first on the bed when Max makes it back to their hotel room. He’s been doing it a lot recently after races, opening the door to their hotel room and just starfishing on the bed, unmoving until Max gently coaxes him to actually sleep. 

God, if his twenty-something year old self could see him now. 

Yeah, you’re back at the team you started with—no not HRT, that’s gone now, yes the Red Bull—not junior—sister team. The Red Bull seat? Yeah, not yours anymore, and it’s looking like it’s gonna stay that way. No, no podium at your home race, more like qualifying P18 because you were an idiot and drove over track limits. Points? Well, you had a good chance but I guess luck just wasn’t on your side yet again. 

Oh, and that young and upcoming driver from the Netherlands? Yeah, he’s your boyfriend now—surprise, you’re gay! And he’s a three time world champion, but that’s probably not important. 

Any one of those things would’ve sent Daniel into hospital, but all of those things combined? 

Early death.

Max isn’t winning right now. 

He couldn’t really tell you why. 

Plenty of pundits, fans, strangers on the street have stopped him and asked him to dissect why he hasn’t won a championship in the past two years. He gives them a hastily PR trained and approved answer that seems to be more conscious in his mind now than before and cracks a well timed joke he’s sure his teammate would be proud of. 

Then Daniel comes along and will say, “Max already has three, he’s got to leave some for the rest of us!”, and the conversation will usually move on quickly after that. 

He knows that Daniel isn’t the sole reason for his non-winning ways right now, but when the eventual news of their relationship happens to drop, there’ll be dissections for days on if Daniel plays a part in Max’s performance right now. 

The last time Max hadn’t won a championship was when Daniel Ricciardo was with Red Bull, surely there’s some connection there?
