thanks for the tag @paranorahjones💜. I listen to like the same 10 songs for months straight (or one album all the way through), only adding stuff or changing it up every once in a while, so…🙈.

I had to get a little creative with this since I don’t usually like songs I just put them in playlists, so I don’t have every song all together. I shuffled a couple of my most listened playlists instead. Put your music library on shuffle, then list the first five songs that come up in a poll to let people vote for which one they like the most!

I most obviously get right down into it 😂 no long exposition for me. I think it’s 95% due to me not liking exposition even when I’m reading, and the other 5% is laziness. I want to know RIGHT NOW and I don’t want to wait! Plus I learned about having a hook for the reader and never looked back. Now, I could say I learned a lot from this and will change my ways, but I will probably not. Oh well < 3

When was the last time you cried? Probably last Thursday because my tire got torn up on a curb in the city and I had to Deal with the situation. (it's fine now.) Stress >:(

Do you have kids? No.

What sports do you play/have you played? Soccer in childhood! Did not enjoy it very much but dutifully went for the exercise :P

Do you use sarcasm? ABSOLUTELY. Sarcasm is a large part of the family language and thus one of my go-to forms of speech (not in a mean way in a shared-joke kind of way).

What is the first thing you notice about people? ...IDK. How friendly they are?

What's your eye color? Hazel.

Scary movies or happy endings? In THIS house we believe in eucatastrophe as a core principle.

Any talents? I'm good at readin' and writin' (and not bad at 'rithmetic). Generally good at school-type things. I also have a good singing voice.

Where were you born? America.

What are your hobbies? Writing, mainly. Needlefelting and embroidery sometimes. I don't know if "schola singing" is a hobby, exactly, but it's at least in that general area and it's important to me.

Do you have any pets? No, never have.

How tall are you? Average, a little on the short side? I never know exactly without checking my license.

Favorite subject in school? English, unsurprisingly. :P

Dream job? Editing? Tutoring? Writing but the kind of writing where I only have to talk about things I already have Thoughts on.

I love your fics and have just read everything you have written. Do you have any Sirius fic recs because I am now craving them?

I'm so sorry this answer to this ask is coming so long after you sent it. I hope these recs find you at a point where you're still craving them!

Black Mask by @izzythehutt is always a great place to start, as are any of her other Harry Potter fics. Black Mask was definitely one of my main inspirations for my own writing. She's a truly excellent writer.

Pietas by @artemisia-black is also wonderful. I absolutely love her world-building of wizarding Italy, it's a lovely bit of escapism. She too has many other lovely stories which are very enjoyable.

Behind the Veil by @icebluecyanide is a very moving short story. His other stories based around Sirius and Regulus as younger boys are very enjoyable, and were definitely part of what inspired me to write my own shorts of that time period.

Little Boy Lost by @iamfitzwilliamdarcy was one of the very first Black family fics I'd read, and it's very moving. She does an amazing job of portraying Orion as a sympathetic character, and the final scene was a real heart-wrencher. As with all the other authors, her other Harry Potter works are a must-read.

my favorite or a defining moment: Kinda low key but I love when Lionel lends her that diamond necklace for a charity gala and Martha is so self-conscious about it and he's just like "It looks much better on you than collecting dust in the Luthor vault." Lionel is fucked up (affectionate) and Martha is wholesome (affectionate) which is what makes this ship so much fun lol. a song I think captures their essence: I'm pretty sure I had a Mionel playlist as a teenager but can't for the life of me recall what was on it lol. a sister ship: The teenage version of them is Talon/Penny from the Netflix Inspector Gadget show, how's that for a reach lol. what kind of AU I’d like to stick them in: Lionel follows her to DC and doesn't get murdered. :) They're number 8 on the Top 10 list.
