Girl, help, the book authors are trying too hard to be "hip" with the fleeting "teen lingo" and trends again, immediately dating their works before they're even released

The more I stew in it, the more I'm convinced that mappa held the movie hostage for 7 years trying to get a bigger share of the ip
They released like what? maybe 4 or 5 new official illustrations after 2018 plus the teaser after all the ost tours and new merch and cafe collaborations were done?
I honest to God believe that mappa initially took the smallest share of the yoi ip thinking "Oh it won't be that popular anyway" and then immediately regretted it when yoi absolutely destroyed DVD sales (it became the 4th bestselling anime of all time that year)
Seeing the multiple seasons of both original and adapted anime they've put out since, they clearly learned from that mistake, but Jesus christ. SEVEN. YEARS.
Guess mappa management finally realized they weren't going to get what they wanted and gave up
God I'm so mad

One Year Later...
It's been a year since my last post to this blog, and in that time a lot has been accomplished. I've updated my website with an entirely new design (including in this blog!), I've been to Europe and Japan, I've been on the board of the Georgia Watercolor Society, I've pitched and won major new clients for Edelman, I've worked on a total kitchen/living/dining remodel for an interior design client, I've enjoyed Michelin-starred tasting menu meals, and I've been gardening roses and obsessing about my lawn as ever.
More to the point: time flies when you're busy. But I have a lot of beauty to share that has been sitting in the wings as I worked to update my digital presence. And this, the annual gingerbread update, marks the end of one year, and the beginning of a very new life for this blog.
I'll say more about this another time, but while in Japan we collected so many beautiful ceramics and crafts. So, so many. Not least of which are the willow woven placemats used in this shoot. They inspired a return to a natural aesthetic for this year's batch of cookies, and in turn these photos show simple, still-life inspired compositions with the bare-bones elements that drive all delicious gingerbread: the bite of fresh ginger combined with the sweetness of sugar and molasses. And I don't deny that I'm a sucker for little spoons.
We'll be enjoying these cookies along with family and friends, and I hope you all get to enjoy the spoils of the season – along with the peace, joy, and stillness that the world so desperately needs right now – as well. Happy holidays!

Ice Spice tries to play this mysterious game with her persona, It's like playing tug-of-war with your personality in a way with people that want to know more about you but instead she's the only one yanking the rope. Ice spice became huge from TikTok with her drill inspired song "Munch", And you know how TikTok has the power to inspire the billboards and music charts. TikTok became notorious for making 5 seconds of a song sound good but the rest of the 3-4 minute song kinda bland. With her first song blowing up on TikTok she soon became the newest hot topic but not in music or bars but really for her sex appeal. With people blowing her song up and sharing it she started to take off from there and got to do a corny barbie girl drill remix with nicki minaj who rarely gives out collabs with female rappers and only did it with Ice Spice to eat off of the momentum and push that ice spice was getting in the industry. And of course Ice Spice being hispanic and mixed with a light complexion she got all the attention on her because all industries and most of the world is colorist and because she has a fat ass because that's what she had to offer really. She can't rap or sing but she can twerk and look hot.
Ice Spice is really just a TikTok rapper who got out of the Bronx luckily off of her looks and age. Watching her performances are just bland and dry as fuck because she doesn't do any moving around just her usual combo moves of bending over, twerking, touching her ass/boobs, and flicking her dry tongue. Ice Spice does not have any talent or real music that comes from the heart, She's just a cheap industry plant like Cardi B that the music industry have put infront of us to distract us. Her and Cardi B both believe that they were hand plucked from the Bronx and chosen to represent their city out of the masses but really they aren't doing enough for the city they came from. They're really just stealing their originality and personality and raunchy-ness from the Bronx. You would've thought that Ice Spice would've done a song with Cardi B, but instead she did it with Nicki Minaj and the song was just kinda trash because it sounded so rushed and there were no memorable bars or anything that showed that she had some talent.
When Apple Music asked her to describe her music she vaguely described it as a vibe. I couldn't vibe to her song even if it was being played in Walgreens. She then went on to say
"It's for the Baddies that get it, for the confident people, for the people that get money. It's just music to feel good too, to get ready to, to work out to"
I can see the workout aspect of her music but not really the other bs she must've said high on her confusion. Ice Spice went on to release her 6 track debut EP Like...? (Her favorite catchphrase in between bars that she says when because she can't rap and gets confused.) The way Ice Spice raps is equivalent to a 6th grader rapping, She did a really weird song with Taylor Swift called karma that really flopped. because without her regular producer giving her an impromptu drill beat to rap on she sounds kinda like a really big joke. Her and Taylor Swift's song was just really bad timing for them to have a song together, Especially after Matty Healy made a very racist and insensitive joke about her and her looks while he was fucking Taylor Swift and pretending to be a good posh buy when really he is a ciggarette smoking bum with nice hair.
Overall, Ice Spice is an industry plant. A cleaner and kidz bop version of Sexy Redd that kids sing in the car and their parents won't get mad because hey she doesn't rap about sucking dick & hasn't had a sex tape exposed yet so she's safe for now. Ice Spice hasn't released any real music, Just another girl trying to do drill rap and get money off of mediocre music is what the world and the black community see.

Full Moon Music.
We’ve always featured darkness since our very first broadcast on Omega WUSB. By our fourth show, we came close in completing our first full-fledged darkness set in a more dis-organized era when we were still trying to figure ourselves out. Back then, ‘darkness’ meant any amount of well-known industrial, metal, and electronic acts with an evil, deviant, or negative tinge to it. Think Throbbing Gristle, Clock DVA, Whitehouse, Godflesh, NON, and etcetera. We finally achieved full force during a bonus summer broadcast (#21) and since then things evolved in how we did those shows. We’ve made a point in doing at least one but no more than two of these dark broadcasts per year, usually in the winter as it’s the best weather, and that’s not including the Halloween broadcasts we’ve done. That’s a whole other class in itself.
It wasn’t until November 2017 when I attended Hospital Productions’ 20th anniversary, a night I’ll never forget. It was the culmination of nine months of benefits and stay-at-home recovery from three life-saving shoulder surgeries. It felt so good being in my element in Brooklyn (Greenpoint) with all the industrialists, goth girls, and noise aficionados dressed in black. Ten hours of paying personal tributes to Dominick Fernow and his label made me realize there was more to look forward to. It’s something never experienced on Long Island, and don’t even get me started with what that “culture” consists of.
That event left a lasting impression on me. If the label had its’ magic on me with Cocaine Death, then I was totally mystified with its’ own showcase. Even everything surrounding it - the train rides, playlists, playbacks, the weather - felt significant to me. And then some. The following month, Omega WUSB opened up the winter broadcasting season / year with more Hospital Productions and Sacred Bones music to air. Both of those labels had their 20th and 10th label anniversaries respectively and we loved what they’ve released. Philip Best’s Alien Existence and a shipment of RRRecords’ cassettes and vinyl arrived at the residence; both which made me feel proud of myself. By Year Six, Omega WUSB was more focused in playing darkwave, synthwave, soundscapes, and even witch house. As the colder months progressed, I discovered a Brooklyn goth girl who followed me and liked my posts on the regular. She was that rare person I really identified with and gave me a serious run for my money like no other.
Through all the euphoric ups, heartbreaking downs, and greyscale steadies, the show must go on. The events of Hospital Productions and identification still surround me. They are a reminder of who I am, where I’m from, what I look forward to, and who I associate with. The darkness broadcasts still go strong and we look forward in doing them like you wouldn’t believe. By now, Omega WUSB has been more organized. Of all the different genres we play, we make it a point to do these dedicated darkness sets when the weather’s suitable and as long as the music’s current. Aside from that, we still run dedicated bonus (and even our one-and-only deluxe Leap Day) noise shows and we aim to make all of our other goth rock, black metal, classic industrial, minimal, and other midnight finds when and where applicable. All of our listeners know that organizing at least 15 different genres and making them all fit is a challenge.
This past winter, we aired one broadcast of dark electronics from Avon Terror Corps and the L.I.E.S. label, doom metal, no-tech, and some textural noise. Somehow we fell into the rabbit hole of darkwave, synthwave, minimal, and EBM and we’ve had enough for a great three-hour idea. With WUSB’s ethos of independent radio and our ethos of everything new, current, and relevant, we had a case to go off-the-board.
Here’s what I / we’ve been feeling and experiencing for the past four winters. This soundtrack supplements the pristine spectre of full moons and constellations in the clear frigid black skies, plus all the positive events that still stays with me make for a distinct spell I can call my own. No Wax Trax, no Bauhaus, The Cure, The Cramps, Siouxsie Sioux, or Depeche Mode. No doubt they’re all legends, but not every tracklist or mix has to be that way. Everything found here is current and on a different level. If at any time I need to get myself up, I’ll reach back to this and know I’ll come back to something I can call what’s mine.

Ice - Bad Blood cd
Here is an out of print oddity for you.
Ice was a Dub/Industrial/Hip Hip from Justin Broadrick and Kevin Martin that also included Lou Ciccotelli (x-Termina Cheesecake) and Dave Cochrane(X-God, Head of David)
To round out the project guests on the album are Wordsound/Indie Hip hop alums Sensational and Scott Harding (aka Scotty Hard... sigh), Turntabilst DJ Vadim, El-P (Company Flow, Run the Jewels) and Blixa Bargeld (Einstürzende Neubauten)... no really
This album can best be described as “Interesting” and “A mixed bag”, Some good stuff in here but you’ll have to do some sifting.
Included is the Headwreck 12", Trapped in three dimensions 12" and Bad Blood 12" because life is cheap and bandwidth is cheaper.
You can Download it from my Google Drive HERE
