i'm just gonna write some of my favorite hcs and you decide if they're interesting jajsjhdk <33

(they're not all buddie hcs @ice-sculptures but some of these are 👀 )

buck and maddie have a small tattoo on their pinky promise finger and it's a d in each other's handwriting to have daniel always be with them.

when buck gets reallyyy drunk, he gets this awful and hilarious british accent that everyone finds ridiculous. (except eddie, eddie finds it incredibly hot but only bc he's pathetically in love with buck and it's embarrassing honestly)

hen, chimney, buck and eddie have a movie night all together once a month. buck and eddie usually fall asleep and hen and chim take pics of them, tease them and every now and then play a prank on two.

buck is actually friends with eddie's sisters. it started at his firefighter ceremony where they met and then they made a group chat with him to keep in touch. sometimes eddie struggles with texting and keeping his sisters updated so buck always sends pics of eddie cooking or at the firehouse or with chris at the beach or on their weekly movie nights. sophia and adriana also tease him endlessly about eddie (bc they know how their brother really feels for buck) but buck just takes it as a joke.

eddie and hen are the most nosy ppl in the station. they're always gossiping while stocking the ambulance and they know everything and anything about everyone.

buck goes to pts meetings when eddie can't make it and half the moms thinks they're married, the other half think they're divorced and a small amount want to jump his bones either way.

eddie steals buck's clothes. it started probably after the well incident— buck lent him his hoodie on the way home bc eddie could not stop shaking and he wanted to keep him warm. and then... eddie just forgot to give it back (on purpose but shhh) and every chance he gets he takes one of buck's tshirts or hoodies. they're just softer than his and they smell nice and no one has to know, okay?

i'm gonna be honest, maddie's conversation with hen in 6x16 kinda disappointed me because it made a really good point about maddie's difficulty in reconnecting with the people in her life after she came back from boston; and that would have been such a good and interesting aspect to explore outside of a single throwaway line. because, let's be real, maddie didn't exactly have a lot going on in this season until death and taxes. and i just feel like she (and chim) should have been given a lot more, individually and together, given the fact that they weren't there for a good portion of s5. idk. i just feel like it would have made the proposal at the end a lot more satisfying.

Unpopular opinion about a character io don't think taylor kelly is a demon lol. is she a flawed character with very questionable morals? yes of course, but i don't think she's the big villain some people make her to be. i for sure hate multiple things she does, i wouldn't wanna be her friend dskjdnfsdfs. buck and talor are definitely not romantically compatible, but i liked the fwb era of seasons 2-4

24. Pettiest take of the fandom is this supposed to be a a petty take i have about the fandom? or a petty take the fandom has lmao? i'll go with the first one, why not. my petty take is that people are really really quick to jump to conclusions and it's very fucking annoying sdfkjbdfdfs

30. What do you wish you saw more of in fics? darker themes, for sure. it's not a bad thing, but this fandom is very vanilla in fics. there are good gems of course, but it's definitely lacking in terms of darker themes and kinkier stuff lol. i guess it fits with the vibe of the show, but still!

ohhh let me think!!okay so i don't think this one's mine bc im pretty sure i read it somewhere but i really like the idea of bobby, chim and eddie having like a "secret dads club" where they meet every week and they give some tips to chim about bring a dad. sometimes they take jee to walk in the park and sometimes they just play some card games and bitch about whatever.

i think that would be so funny and such a cute and hilarious group.

speaking of clubs!! i also like to think that eddie, may, linda, sue and maddie have this kind of secret book club. and they all read those really cheesy, erotica novels with some half naked dude on the cover. sometimes eddie even invites tía pepa in. and after they discuss the book they also mostly gossip about what's going at dispatch, josh's latest love disastrous experience, some of the new probies at the station, may's asshole classmates from college etc etc.

one day when buck finds out about it, he makes a big deal out of it just to tease eddie. but then he promises not to tell anyone and he will always babysit chris and jee if need be bc he thinks maddie and eddie deserve to have this thing for themselves and enjoy it.

i think athena knows how to cook but she doesn't enjoy it as much as bobby and it's not THAT good at it, but every friday night they both have free they stay on the couch and watch this cooking show bobby really likes. it's a kind of competition so bobby talks the entire time about what he would do differently and what things the contestants are doing wrong and if he had the chance he could totally win. he gets really worked up about it in the most endearing and hilarious of ways and athena just smiles fondly and tries to distract him with neck kisses and then they have a impromptu make out session on the couch like they're hormonal teenagers in love. (they kinda are)

may is a BIG swiftie and for her birthday bobby took her to the eras tour and spent WEEKS making friendship bracelets with her. (he has a few may gave him saved on his nightstand and he also made one for buck bc he's a big softie.)

buck knows how eddie hates driving and also is most of the time really busy with stuff from chris' school or whatever so sometimes when he goes to the grocery, he also shops for eddie and drops the bags casually and without saying anything. eddie tried to argue at first but know he just smiles and reallyyy bravely resists the urge to jump and kiss buck alo over his stupidly handsome face.

also, when eddie is feeling overwhelmed with chores and tía pepa calls him to fix something at her house, buck goes instead and for his troubles he earns a lot of gossip about tía pepa's friends and some DELICIOUS snacks made by her <333

emma swan was the original blorbo for me, and i still remain obsessed with her, so i think it's. fitting that she and eddie have so many parallels. both of them are parents who love their kids so much and will go to the ends of the world for them (in emma's case, literally), both of them have the weight of the world on their shoulders and are always in a position where they have to look out for everyone else before themselves, both of them grew up far too quickly under traumatizing circumstances—emma living on the streets as a teenager and then getting arrested for a crime she didn't commit, eddie going to war and nearly dying before he even turned 25—both of them have intense issues with rejection and abandonment that stem from but are not exclusive to being abandoned by their first loves, both of them—moreso in emma's case—have walls up and are terrified of loving again, both of them feel like they abandoned their child and spent the rest of their lives trying to make up for it, both of them are traumatized as hell (and i will never forgive OUAT for not addressing emma's trauma properly)...

i could go on and on honestly!! but the most important parallel between emma and eddie is that they're both the love of my life 👉🏽👈🏽
