This is pretty low stakes and no matter what, everyone likes each other a lot. So it's not a huge problem. But also, I'm steadfast on this...

I live with my sister a several roomates and we all consider each other family. It's a very cozy living situation. However, that doesnt mean we always get along and X and I butt heads on plenty of occasions.

X is a wonderful person but they're also extremely sensitive. They're autistic and dont like certain sounds or behaviors but also they run around screaming a lot or will walk up up and start talking randomly about something. I dont mind it, it can be really annoying when I'm trying to work but understand it and usually hear them out. However the running around screaming "CUM" and "I'M GONNA KILL YOU" can be pretty grating.

Anyways, I really like singing. I have a high soprano voice akin to a victorian childs ghost and I sing when I do the dishes and X haaaaates it. They always tell me to "fucking stop or I'll kill you" (they just speak in an extreme manner as a joke or out of habit it's not threatening just annoying) or "stop, I cant take it". I sometimes stop but sometimes I tell them to get over it because 1) they scream cum like 24/7 2) our other roomate sings until 3 am (deep husky voice very epic to celtic songs) and nobody complains and 3) idgaf. They tell me I'm mean and I tell them they're being overly sensitive, and then they say that they're autistic.

On one hand I understand that they have sensitivities, our other roomates and my sister are autistic as well and have certain things we need to keep in check. I also recognize that I can be overly harsh at times since they have a hard time understanding boundaries (I have issues with people touching me or invading my business so I have very short temper I that area). On the other hand they are the kind of person who cant take their own medicine, even if they're joking the CUM screaming and constant "I'm gonna kill you" really wears you down. I feel pretty justified in my snapping, like when they kept a walking into my room and caught me changing and said "why dont you put a curtain up?" (I had to reiterate that its MY ROOM!) Also when talking with my other roomates we dont have these kinds of problems and we understand what compromises we need to make.

Anyhow, I was singing These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things and X asked me not to because it gives her bad memories and I said I wouldnt, I sang a Neir song and X asked me not to because it's scary and I said alright, i was singing Lullaby of Birdland and X said something and I said GET OVER IT YOU SISSY and they got really sad. I was going to return to piano playing so I can learn Malo from Turn Of The Screw which is possibly the creepiest victorian child song you could sing, they probably wont like it but nowadays I just say "I literally dont care" and continue.

I know im really harsh and probably being rude but the double standards are very annoying and my other roomates think I'm fine. They say I'm mean but they think everything is mean. We are friends regardless. AITA

Summary: Waking up from a nightmare you are met with kindness from an unexpected friend.

Hands crawled across your body and grabbed at the plush skin, tugging and tearing whatever it could before you tried to scream. Although try as you might your screams wouldn’t be heard, instead they were silenced as the hands wandered with sick curiosity as you tried to fight back.

Their fingers pried open places that needn’t be opened in the first place, at least you preferred it that way. An unnatural feeling overtook your chest as those ligaments tore you apart piece by piece. You couldn’t see, only feel as those intruders wandered on protected ground.

Where there was once noise and chaos, had soon become quiet and cold. You don’t remember sitting up, nor opening your eyes or reminding yourself to breathe, but regardless it happened. Your head spun as you tried to make sense of everything, while attempting to rid yourself of that intrusive sensation.

It felt as if you had been covered in a gross ooze. The stench stuck to your nostrils as you tried desperately to slow your breathing. It wasn’t that easy, though. You reminded yourself of where you were. Well, you figured you’d know but the familiar atmosphere only looked increasingly strange the more you looked at it. A million voices ran through your head until finally a hand on your shoulder calmed them.

“Look at me.” The voice spoke in a somewhat gentle tone. “What happened?”

Steadying your breathing you took a deep breath before addressing the person beside you.

“Where am I?” You asked nervously.

The person beside you moved their hand to yours and squeezed it gently. “Home.”

Eventually as some time passed you had become more aware of the world around you and the role you played in it. Your muscles started to relax and you could feel a steady heart rate following soon after, and it wasn’t long until you recognized Rhinedottir and the room you were in.

You tried moving your hand to signal she didn’t need to comfort you anymore, but you were surprised when she instead tightened her grip.

“Don’t.” She said. “You need this.”

You wanted to fight her on it but instead sighed and allowed her to wrap her arms around you and carefully pull you into her lap instead. It felt.. nice, really nice. Taking your hand you grabbed a clump of her shirt in a pathetic attempt at keeping her close by. She was hesitant at first but ultimately she leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to the top of your head.

You were sure this was bound to be quite the mortifying ideal in the morning, but for the time being it was comforting to know that of all people she was there when you needed it most, taking extra care of you even at your weakest.

Ivy as a child originally was a angel, though not a normal one. He also was a vampire, due to his father genes which unfortunately ended up to sacrifice himself for his own family like his mother did too.

Ivy and destiny (his sister) ended up being orphans at the end but still could lived at the house hidden from others angels or well if it was necessary needed to hide the teeths by putting a mask.

Ivy had a little crush for Avery (oc by @asteix0 !!) They were childhood crushes for a while. That in a future they could be partners for the first time.

Until one day ivy and destiny ended being ejecuted by hanging them. Ended up being in the hell that was owned by X, in fear and lost of hopes. But also hurted the fact he couldn't see avery ever again.

X ended up adopting them, while they both were slowly becoming a demon already, which was in a very painful process.

Ivy at age 17-18 he ended up killing a angel letter with a scissors stabbing them 5 times due because they reminded him of avery. It was purely out impulsive and in pain, but inside of him he didn't and never had remorse after that.

In a future he ended up being the king of hell, replacing X after her death. Taking her role to his own, it was difficult managing something so big like that at first but at the end he could do it.

Ivy would ironically paint Hazel's nails out nowhere. Though hazel works with him sometimes despite the difference and difficults they have between them, but it's okay because they do have a health family bond.

The relationship of avery and him.. well, theyre so sweetly. A relationship that at first it was just kids having tiny crushes that at the end they ended up being partners after being separated for some long time. At first avery didn't recognize him due because he was different. But now in a future they will be married ;)

I forgot to mention that he can shapeshift his body male or female body anything you would like he can do. He can shapeshift even his own face, he could do a normal human face, natural smile and eyes or can do your own face

I’m finally putting my thoughts on Shadow and Bone season 2 down, and some of these opinions are controversial! Whew! But I need to talk about them so just buckle down or scroll away heh. 

1. Season 2 wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for a few glaring flaws and the fact that it’s an adaptation. What are the major flaws, in my opinion? Too many character plots to follow, a lack of interest in the writers room on their protagonist, and a rushed plotline. 

I feel like so much of season 2 is lovely. It’s got beautiful scenery, I love how we explore this world. It really builds upon season 1. But there’s this big disconnect between the writers and the main characters, especially Alina and the Darkling. (This is by no means a criticism of Jessie or Ben, they’re fucking phenomenal). Alina’s story doesn’t seem to matter all that much to the writers, who are way more into the crows storyline. 

People online were saying that the crows were the best part of season 2, and that’s true, but it’s NOT a good thing. Why? because this is shadow and bone, not six of crows. And the crows are great and I love them, but I did kind of resent their storylines a bit because I felt like their story was depriving me of Alina’s. And yeah, we can all sit here and argue that the crows are objectively better, but that doesn’t change the fact the show is shadow and bone. 

With so much focus on the crows, it doesn’t seem like Alina’s the main character at all, and if you’ve read the books you can really see just how much they’ve cut from her story. They didn’t even talk about the religious undertones! 

And the Darkling. Oh, the Darkling. Listen, I’m not here to debate whether or not you should like him, but he’s a good fucking villain, and the relationship between him and Alina is important. “But he’s abusive!” Okay, and ignoring the nuance of their relationship is taking away representation about abusive and toxic relationships. Not all fiction has to be cozy and warm for it to be valuable. you don’t need to like Darklina at all but you should recognize the importance and value of their story, and season 2 didn’t give that. So much of Alina’s story is tied to his. They are foils to each other, so similar and yet so vastly different and to ignore the complex relationship they have does them both a disservice as characters. 

This finally leads me to a rushed plotline. I get it, they were trying to tell the whole story and were worried the show would get canceled. So, take the crows out (ouch, my heart). Reduce the Storytime for the crows. There were other ways they could’ve combated the rush. I don’t think it would’ve been perfect (shadow and bone really needed to be three seasons) but it could’ve helped. Flat out, way too much happened in too little time and it does every single character in the show a discredit. 

Also, to touch on the adaptation aspect: I think they could’ve gotten away with more of everything I mentioned if they weren’t an adaptation. Like, the darklina relationship dynamic might’ve been able to slide a bit without the books (though I still think it would be a damn shame not to explore those complicated dynamics). 

2. Mal is likable here, idgaf. even at the end when people were mad about him dumping Alina, I think he was pretty justified honestly. He doesn’t owe Alina his love, especially not romantic love. He went through shit too, he was going to die for her. That doesn’t mean I like him as a romantic option for Alina. The character alone (in the show) is fine. It’s when he’s put into the mix with Alina and the Darkling I seem to struggle with him, and I don’t mean in the romance. There’s this power imbalance between them as characters that doesn’t work, and I’m not sure how else to explain it beyond that. 

3. At the end of it all, I don’t care that it sucks. Why? Because more seasons means more fanfiction. I have reaped the benefits of season 2 just from the influx of fanfiction alone. Adaptation means renewed interest in the fandom. idgaf if adaptation sucks, I'll go see them and support them for the sole purpose of more fandom content. (Also I think season 8 of GOT broke me a little in this regard).

Content warnings: Racism, misgendering, ableism, and death threats sent to and wishing harm upon minors

TLDR: Haley participated in a discussion about racefaking when he is white, and then, when a black person was made uncomfortable by it, she made the black person out to be the aggressor and played victim while misgendering the black person in the process. He has allegedly sent death threats to those as young as 14, openly wished harm upon the children that she harassed, and used an ableist term to describe a DID system that he didn’t like. After being called out for all of this, she left Twitter and became more active here to run away from all of this. He also caused a non-white person to be harassed for months because she (a white person) accused him of racism, because Haley assumed that their non-white original characters were 1) all aliens 2) all evil; an incredibly racist assumption.

Haley is a tumblr user who moved here from Twitter due to being called out for her actions. In this post, I will detail what it is he is trying to hide and run away from. A lot of this information will be taken from Marnie (@/wnderhoy on Twitter), who created the original post on her behavior.

Haley, during her Twitter days, had a main account and a private account that he let mutuals follow. On her private, she made a post about how he was uncomfortable with a black person who called him out on her inserting herself into a discussion about racefaking when he is white. She then proceeded to make this post on her private account, advising that people not follow the black person in question.

(Transcript: “This user makes me uncomfortable I wish so many of my friends weren’t mutuals w him I know it’s selfish but this is embarrassing 😭” “This was the one who told someone to call me out btw. Don’t put faer on my tee el” “Not to be eye for an eye petty but love told everyone I was racist and I sent death threats to kids. If you wanna be around him idgaf just don’t be around faer while around me”)

The black person in question never told anyone to call him out, and only told someone about faer personal experience with Haley, and an anonymous source alleging that she sent death threats to a 14-year-old. Fae didn’t even allege that Haley was antiblack, but Haley, as a white person, used her platform to make the people following him think that the black person was a bad person for being uncomfortable with the fact that he involves himself in a discussion that she had no place in. Haley never even recognized that he was wrong.

Proof of him saying that Haley isn’t antiblack:

You may have noticed that I changed the pronouns used for the transcript, and that is because Haley misgendered the person, as well, in his eagerness to paint the black person as the bad guy. The person’s pronouns were in his bio.

After all of this came to light, Haley resorted to self-victimization:

The creator of the original post also got this DM:

I can’t provide screenshots but he admitted at the time for telling the account owner to die as well as other people that shipped Link and Zelda. He is aware but changed the narrative. Just figured you should know if that is brought up.” “I cleaned up my main account and most of the older tweets are gone and sadly that was caught in them.”)

While in drama with another user (@/GRIMSLEYSEX_), who is a DID system, Haley stated that it had ‘multiple personalities’ (an outdated and ableist way to refer to someone with DID), and stated that she wanted to see xem in pain multiple times throughout, even stating that he enjoyed seeing it in pain. He even called the user a masochist, which is a sexual term, while the user was a child. She participated in harassment of the user in question. While what the user was accused of doing was abhorrent, that is no excuse for ableism, sexualizing a child and saying that you liked seeing a child in pain.

Unfortunately, much of the proof of these wrongdoings has been lost after Haley deleted lots of posts, deactivated her Twitter account and moved to tumblr to escape his past, which he did after being called out. This may or may not have been on purpose. However, if you do things such as search up ‘sparkxiiii Nox’ (‘Nox’ being the name that the user that Haley harassed and wished harm upon), you will see people participating in a discussion about the user who deleted all of her Tweets, with the person with deleted Tweets being the one accusing Nox of being awful, which is, at least, evidence of Haley’s hatred for it and his participation in the drama.

(Transcription: “Nop, I have asked from the very start. And if the victims don’t owe me anything then the thread stays. As long as I get evidence of the behavior that Nox is horrible. Otherwise. Saying you have evidence and not show me just shows you have none at all.”)

“I'm mixed almost equally German and Native American, and I'm writing a book involving the experiences of characters from mixed families/of different cultures interacting. Sparkxii took a joke I made (pointing out that people with blue eyes are a statistical minority, which is... Scientifically true and was ironic to the conversation) completely out of context and began calling me racist and accused me of romanticizing Naziism.

Sparkxii then combed through my blog, saw that I have non-white characters in my books, and... Accused me of being racist for the fact that they existed, because, according to them, someone would ONLY write a book with poc in it because they wanted to make poc the "bad guys". Their logic and tantrum revolved around their assumption that everyone thinks poc are evil.

Sparkxii assumed that I made the "humanoid aliens" (they aren't aliens, they're all humans) ALL POC and that the "aliens" were ALL EVIL and trying to ravage the human race which MUST BE ALL WHITE....... Yeah. Basically he proved how profoundly racist he was by seeing a bunch of non-white book characters and immediately reading them as evil aliens.”

He further elaborated in DMs that “there was a solid several months after it happened where I couldn't log into Tumblr because there were just THAT many messages telling me to kill myself or calling me a Nazi/kkk member.. Which is, above all else, incredibly ironic for a blonde/blue eyed person to accuse a mixed person of.”

Edit #2: As-of March 6th, sparkxii was suspended by tumblr staff (likely for her continuous suicide baiting). As-of March 15th, Haley is back on tumblr under @/spotlightmetroplex.

Two Plus Two Equals Five

Third Person POV: It had been three years since Marinette had moved to Gotham City to study design at Gotham Academy. As usual she went to one of her favorite coffee shops in Gotham so she could get some energy after pulling all nighters for the past month and just living off of coffee. After walking 6 blocks from her apartment she got to the coffee shop, Loca Mocha (Ty Sabs). She went inside and ordered her usual, a six shot latte with cream, whipped cream on top and salted caramel sauce drizzled across the top (idk if that would actually taste good but I don’t drink coffee so don’t mind me). She went to find a seat and was unsuccessful until she found a free table in the far back of the coffee shop, however, someone else was looking at the same table at the same time as her and they ended up bumping into each other while not paying attention and heading towards the same table.

“Sorry sorry, I’m insanely clumsy.”

“No it’s alright, I wasn’t looking where I was going.” “That makes two of us, I should’ve paid more attention. I’m Marinette by the way.”

“I should’ve paid more attention too. I’m Tim, it’s nice to meet you Marinette.”

“So I guess we both just had our eyes on the table huh?” “Yeah.”

“Should we just sit together then? There’s no other empty tables or seats.”

“That’d probably be easiest.”

“I have an order for a Marinette, six shot latte, with cream, whipped cream on top and salted caramel sauce drizzled on the top,” one of the baristas yelled. “I should go get that, I’ll be right back.”

‘She seems like an interesting person, I kind of want to get to know her’ Tim thought. Marinette came back to the table and sat down, Tim already had his coffee since he had ordered before Marinette came into the shop. Marinette was about to pull out her laptop to start working when Tim stopped her. She looked at him confused,

“I- I wanted to get to know you better before the both of us have to leave,” he said nervously.

“Oh, I supposed I understand that,” she said and put her laptop away.

“So, what are your hobbies?” Tim asked her.

“Well, I love designing. It's my passion and dream to be a designer and I’ve been doing it my whole life so I guess I could count that as a hobby. I also bake a lot, my parents are bakers so I’ve been taught by the pros,” she said, the last part with a joking tone.

“Those are a lot more interesting than my hobbies, all I do with my life is work and then work some more, get some coffee and sleep once a month,” Tim said jokingly.

“I’m sure you have more hobbies than that but okay.”

They continued to learn more about each other and got more and more interested in the other every second. Customers came and went and eventually it was 1pm. The tables were full again and another customer walked in, this time, however, Marinette and Tim watched them order. Marinette just happened to recognize the customer as Lê Chiến Kim. Kim ordered his drink and went to look for a table when someone caught his eye, Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

“Long time no see Mari-bitch.” Kim said to her, clearly trying to offend her though it didn’t work.

“Nice to see you too, Kim.” Marinette replied calmly.

“Still sending death threats to Lila?” Kim asked snottily.

“Still a sheep following around a liar with no evidence?” Marinette said smoothly.

“You still don’t believe Lila huh? You know she’s friends with the Waynes right? Plus she’s dating the youngest Wayne son and she could get 15 lawsuits put on you with a few words. All she’d have to do is tell her boyfriend that you sent her death threats and bullied her in highschool.” Kim said stupidly in front of the second youngest Wayne son.

“Hi, Kim right?” Tim said stepping in.

“Yeah? And what’s it to ya?” Kim replied in a rude tone.

“I’m Tim Drake, and I sure as hell think I’d know if my younger brother was dating a lying bitch. Damian is smart enough to avoid people like that and this ‘Lila’ person seems like a golddigger, my brother also isn’t the type to cheat on his boyfriend.” Tim said, glaring at Kim.

“What do you mean? You just said your last name is Drake, that’s not Wayne you dumbass.” Kim said, thinking he knows everything.

“The thing is Bruce Wayne, my adoptive father, has adopted all of his kids except for Damian and we all kept our last names. Damian is the only biological child of Bruce that we know of and he most definitely is not dating anyone named Lila, he’s dating Jonathan Kent. I would, however, like to know the last name of this Lila.” Tim said.

“Oh Lila’s name is Lila Rossi, I’m sure you’d love to meet her, you see she knows tons of celebrities and she even taught MDC how to design, though, MDC did steal some of Lila’s designs.” Kim said, completely oblivious to the fact that he just landed Liar Grossi- oops, I meant Lila Rossi about seventeen lawsuits.

“Thank you for the name, now if you don’t mind I’d prefer if you just leave.” Tim said.

Kim left and forgot about the coffee he ordered.

“So...what was that about?” Tim asked.

“Well, it’s kind of a long story…” Marinette responded.

“I’m willing to listen to any story coming from you no matter how long it is,” Tim said without thinking. (The amount of cheesiness in that sentence is the reason why it pained my soul to write that)

Marinette laughed, “Whatever you say.”

And so we start from the beginning of Sophomore year at Francois Dupont Highschool. (Idgaf if it’s a middle school)

“Well when I was in my freshman year of high school I had a pretty good year, I was class president, I was friends with everyone, had a crush on a guy I thought was nice, and thought that nobody would ever believe someone they just met over myself. Then, Sophomore year came around and there was an exchange student, Lila Rossi. She claimed to be best friends with one of Paris’s heroes, Ladybug, and my best friend was obsessed with Ladybug so she automatically became friends with Lila. I, however, knew that Lila wasn’t friends with Ladybug because I myself was friends with her and knew that she would never become friends with someone that easily. I confronted Lila about her Lies about Ladybug and a few other famous people but she ended up threatening me. She told me that she would take all my friends and make everyone hate me, she almost succeeded completely but I still have my friends Chloe, Nino, Kagami and Luka. She told everyone that I had bullied her and that I had sent her death threats, though, she had no proof and everyone believed her because she said she knew celebrities which meant she would always tell the truth to them, they didn’t need proof. They ended up bullying me to teach me a lesson in their words, one time I almost died, they beat me up and stabbed me in the stomach multiple times resulting in me going into a coma for months. Lila also told my biological parents these lies and sadly they believed all of them, when I tried to explain it to them they just ignored me and became distant with me, they ended up disowning me and my honorary uncle adopted me with his wife, I applied for a few colleges after I graduated and even though I was accepted to harvard something just called me to go to gotham academy instead so I did, I don’t regret it to this day, I’ve learned a lot more about design and myself than I would have learned at harvard or any other school. Plus, I found Loca Mocha and like- this place has amazing coffee, I could never say no to it.”

“Wow, you weren’t lying, that is a really long story. But it was an interesting one and one that made me want to murder whoever this Lila person is.”

They talked for a while more just talking about ways to murder Lila for just being a bitch. The one they decided on was to torture her and make her wish she were dead and then give her a very slow and painful death and then chop up her limbs, throw them into a volcano, collect her ashes from said volcano and place them in a separate galaxy. Eventually it was 7pm and they didn’t even realize the amount of time that had passed until one of the baristas asked them to leave as the coffee shop was closing.

“Um Ma’am? Sir? We’re closing up soon, I hate that I have to interrupt but it would probably be easiest if you guys left before we start closing up.” The barista said.

“Oh, sorry I guess we didn’t realize what time it is, we’ll get going now.” Marinette and Tim said at the same time.

The two collected their belongings and walked out of the coffee shop hand-in-hand. Eventually they got to a crossing point between Wayne Manor and Marinette’s apartment so they had to part ways, not before exchanging phone numbers of course. Tim told her to text him immediately once she got home so he knew that she got home safe.

Marinette got home about five minutes later and texted Tim once she unlocked her apartment door. She made herself some ramen for dinner and binge-watched Haikyuu. She was in the middle of watching Tadashi yell at Tsukishima about being more excited about winning when Tim texted her saying that he was home and asking if she wanted to meet at Loca Mocha again the next day. She, of course, said yes and told him she’d see him the next day. A few hours later, while Marinette was working on one of her projects at two in the morning, Tim texted her asking if she was awake. She texted him back once she saw it and asked him why he was awake.

Coffee Addict: I could say the same to you -_-

Workaholic: Well I have a reason to be awake, I’m working on design projects. What’s your excuse?

Coffee Addict: Insomnia. Work. Patrol. Coffee.

Coffee Addict: Ignore the patrol part.

Workaholic: You’re a coffee addicted insomniac obsessed with getting their work done and you’re a hero?

Coffee Addict: ...you just met me yesterday you shouldn’t be able to know me that well.

Workaholic: I’m good at reading people.

Marinette woke up at 8am as usual and got ready to meet Tim. She wore her hair down and wavy, put on some light makeup, some black doc marten combat boots, light wash ripped jean shorts and a black crop top. Once she was ready she left to go to Loca Mocha. Time woke up at 7:30 am, a little later than usual. He got up and styled his hair, put on some jeans, a plain t-shirt tucked into his jeans, and white converse hightops. He went downstairs to get some breakfast from Alfred when everyone looked at him weirdly.

“Are you guys okay... “ Tim asked.

“Tim- what are you wearing? Why are you dressed up casually instead of your usual work suit? WHAT IS GOING ON?!?! WHY DON’T YOU HAVE COFFEE? WHY DO YOU LOOK AWAKE AND SANE?!?!” Jason asked, starting to think that he was drugged.

“Oh well yesterday I met this girl at Loca Mocha and I spent the entire day getting to know her and last night at two in the morning I asked if she was awake and she made me go to sleep after I asked Cass to cover for me on patrol. I’m meeting with her again today.” Tim explained in a hurry to get to the coffee shop.

“You landed a girl who can get you to sleep- how the hell did that happen?” Jason asked.

“I’m still not completely sure myself. But I’m glad I met her.” Tim replied with a smile.

Everyone else in the room just stared at Tim expectantly.

“What?”

“When do we get to meet her???”

“UM- NEVER THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!”

“YOU CAN’T DO THAT!!”

“Oh yes I can and I will.” Tim said and walked out of the manor.

When Tim got to the coffee shop he waited for Marinette, at 8:15 she texted him and told him she was on her way, Tim realized he might have gotten there a little earlier than he had to. He waited for a while knowing she would probably get there around 8:30. By the time it was 8:40 he started to get worried but stayed put just in case, once it was 9:00 he couldn’t help it, he got up and started walking towards her apartment, once he got there he looked for her and asked people if they saw anyone who looked like her until he turned his head to an alleyway and was horrified at what he saw…

Hehehehehehe I’ve always wanted to do that. I swear I never knew how fun it could be. Anyways that’s it for the first chapter, I hope you enjoyed it.

So I tried on my bridesmaid dress and my ass apparently got bigger so now it feels like it’s about to rip when I’m standing up, which makes me think “fucking great I’m gonna have to stand at my sisters wedding the whole time if I don’t want my 200$ dress to burst open. But then I’ve been told by not only my sister (the bride) but also my alterations seamstress that I need to st*rve myself so that I lose weight. But I already know that I’m barely eating 1 meal (if you could even call them that) a day, and that it’s not gonna give me the results I want. My mom even brought up spanx but in this case it won’t help me because I have a slit in my dress that goes up to my mid thigh if not a little higher. What makes me feel worse is that when we got these dresses I was the one who got stepped all over just so the bride would be happy and changed brands and styles and has to pick one from her preselected bunch for me to wear, and on top of that we took my hip size into consideration when choosing what size I would get and got a size up despite my lack of a chest which would require more alterations in the future.

So now I feel like shit, cant do shit to make my ass any smaller (despite how everyone always tells me I should be grateful for having an ass - despite that it’s done me more harm then good when it comes to buying clothes ) and I’m so frustrated that I can’t fix this problem without someone either being hurt, offended or straight up miserable.

First of all (respectfully) your sister sounds awful. She asked you to be in her wedding and she's giving you shit for it? Idgaf if you're related, it's basic human decency. Even if she meant it in a "joking" context you should never joke about shit like that. As for the seamstress that's also a load of fucking bullshit. She's an alterations seamstress and she's giving you shit for making her do her fucking job? Absolute bullshit. You're fine the way you are, love. Final Thoughts on Season 1 of Loki

Also, quick disclaimer, if you loved the finale that’s great!! I liked certain aspects of it (as seen above) and disliked some too (which is natural for any piece of media). And this is all just my opinion on the series and if yours is different then that’s your opinion and I am not trying to enforce anything onto anyone at all!

So I’ll open this with the glaring detail that is the Multiverse. The multiverse officially opening up can solve a lot of things for Marvel especially in the realm of trying out new things without it affecting the general scheme of what had already been established, which is good for people who want to get into Marvel but not sit through the months of content. But I hope they handle it well because it can get very confusing for which movie belongs in which branch and so on.

Okay but like full offense I do not ship Loki and Sylvie and frankly idgaf to those who do, it’s just not my taste because one it’s essentially selfcest and two it feels so forced and maybe I’m overthinking it but it downplays the whole bisexual/genderfluid Loki confirmation which already felt like a whole Dumbledore is Gay situation. And I get it, I get the whole “the kiss was a distraction!” But yeah it’s still selfcest to me and honestly I’m pretty sure she could’ve accomplished that same thing with a hug, the whole kiss kind of put me off because it felt so… heteronormative, to say the least. I dunno, I really liked Sylvie’s character and I liked the potential but the series made it feel like she was boiled down to the basic love interest. Maybe season two will prove me wrong and develop her more and my opinion will change but as of right now, with only six episodes of exposure, she needs work as a character.

The whole Kang reveal was somewhat satisfying to me too, the true guy in the chair until the “threshold” was hit and wow that whole scene made me realize that the whole scenario with Kang is so much more deeper than “to kill him or not” and it’s really somewhat of a philosophical thing (which is shown by both Loki and Sylvie) and it’s somewhat reminiscent of the train thought experiment (the one where you essentially have a train whose brakes are broken and you can maneuver the train to either run over three people or one person of significant interest to you). Did it feel kind of rushed or out of place? A little bit, but part of me thinks that that’s the point so I won’t comment any further.

I think the thing with Kang is going to be like a River Song (from Doctor Who) kind of situation. We meet the final Kang in Loki and as Phase 5 progresses we’ll either see past versions or alternate variants of him and I can see that being an interesting twist to put on the MCU so I’m looking forward to seeing how marvel juggles that one.

I don't know, there were many parts of this series that made me scratch my head that I understand are explained simply through "it's time stuff" but I feel bad to say that it really took me out of the show. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Loki very much and I can see the hard work that went into it! But when I hold it with WandaVision and TFATWS it just wasn't my personal favorite (and yes I know I shouldn't compare the shows but in my own personal tier list Loki wasn't my favorite). I'm going to hold out that in season two a lot of these will be explained so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

But aside from what happened in the episode I think it does well it’s set up for future events despite it not concluding a lot that happened in season one, and therefore setting up for season two (which yes I recognize) but I’m looking forward to the proper conclusion!

So, the world is on fire and, unfortunately, I work at a big box retail store that has a ton of groceries and other “essential to life” items so I’m not part of this worldwide quarantine and I have to pretend I’m not putting myself and others at risk everyday because a gigantic corporation told me too.

ANYWAY to keep relatively sane on my breaks I’ve been rewatching SPN season one on my phone. Today I reached “Route 666” and got hit with a ton of feelings like I always do about this episode.

Is it a messy Bucklemming disasterpiece? Oh, fuck yeah. Do I love it to bits? Yeah, I kinda do.

I got to this scene with Cassie and Dean doing research together this morning and it reminded me of WHY I love this episode.

This next bit will waffle somewhere in between canonical interpretation, headcanon, fanfic, and meta, just FYI. Also, I recognize that none of these ideas are new in a fandom this old but idgaf this week and need to put my brain into nice things.

So, I love season one Dean. Especially in the pilot when he’s just desperate for attention and companionship. Every time I rewatch this season I get inspired to write a pilot/pre-pilot era Dean story and maybe one day I will.

One of the things I noticed this time around was Dean’s fascination with Ohio. There were two or three instances when he used the state in his and Sam’s cover stories in the first few episodes. It happened enough that I had a “huh, that’s weird I wonder why he’s obsessed with Ohio” moment.

Cue the Dean and Cassie episode where we learn that Cassie went to college in Ohio and that’s where they dated (and Dean fell in love for the first time).

Now, I know a TON has been said about the parallels between Dean and Cassie vs Destiel, and I’m not really interested in adding to it right now. I’m more interested in Dean and Cassie when they were together and happy and hopeful about life together.

I’m interested in that companion starved young Dean working a case with his dad meeting Cassie. I’ve always thought it would be sweet if the way they met and fell for each other was just like the picture above. By doing research.

And here’s where I deep dive into headcanon territory, but I love the idea of journalism student Cassie staying up late in the college library and running into Dean who was sent there to research some local lore. Was she one of the first people Dean tried to impress with his intelligence instead of his swagger and car? What was car salesman’s daughter’s reaction to seeing the Impala? Did Dean tell her he was working on a major in history or anthropology?

Did she teach him her favorite ways to dig up information? Did he teach her some of his smooth talking secrets to get people to reveal things they otherwise wouldn’t have?

Was it memories of late nights around library tables and stolen kisses in the stacks that made Dean pawn research off on Sam those first few episodes?

I just *shakes fist* have so many feelings about them.
