Hi, all. For those who don't know me, I'm Nik. I'm 35 years old, I'm a trans man, and I'm really, really struggling lately with anorexia and PTSD flaring up. I'm disabled because of those conditions, but because of some extremely difficult times in the last several months, things have gotten a lot worse.

My husband isn't working as much as he would otherwise be doing because he's taking care of me. We can barely pay our rent, and I don't know what's going to happen there. I'd love for someone to cover the $1400 for rent, but I'm not expecting it.

I'm asking for about $110. Because of the aforementioned difficulties lately, neither of us has been at our best. The apartment is a disaster. Our dryer was broken for a long time, and it still doesn't work right, so we're constantly stepping over and navigating around piles of clothing.

I get Medicare and Medicaid, but I've been unsuccessful finding treatment that takes my insurance. And I can't afford to pay out of pocket, clearly, so I just have to figure it out. But I'm stuck. And a major reason for my stuck-ness is this apartment.

This is making everything worse. I feel stuck, and I can't do much of anything because of how lousy I feel. But it's hard to feel less lousy when you live in a chaotic, dirty place and have no clean clothes. That's been our reality for a while. I don't know how much longer I can deal with it.

So, like I said, I'm asking for about $110 total.

I'm trying to get laundry done and someone from like Homeaglow or something to clean for a few hours. It would be $60-75 for the laundry, about $20-30 for the cleaning, and a tip for each of the people doing it, so that's about $110 total I'm looking for.

Literally anything helps, but I feel like after I get over that hurdle I can make progress in other areas and get my life back. I just miss feeling halfway okay, and this is going to go a long way towards that.

Since I'm bored and my comics hyperfixation hasn't seemed to end yet (sometimes i worry my hyperfixations last longer than usual nowadays, but that's another tangent), I've started trying to read the 60s Green Lantern stories. So far, I've thought Gil Kane does some great work (although just like at marvel, sometimes his faces aren't the best). I've also found Green Lantern way more interesting than Hawkman or The Flash (the silver age flash sucks, which is funny, since John Broome wrote him too).

Really though, I think Green Lantern ends with issue #75 for me. I don't really like the concept of Denny O'Neil's Green Arrow and Green Lantern Team-Up. Making Green Arrow's sidekick a heroin addict makes me feel like we're losing the innocence of the old silver age and golden age comics, and my brain just doesn't respond well to that. I don't tend to like that sort of edgy stuff in my fiction. And i can't see any natural jumping back on point if i skip everything written in the 70s for green lantern. But there's my basic opinion on green lantern. Better than most of DC's output back then (way better than the flash, despite sharing writers), but loses me when Denny O'Neil comes onboard.

OKAY (this is the "tell us about your WIP documents" meme from the other day) --

This is prrrrobably going to be my longfic after I finish and post Lent From Tomorrow, and it's the "Bucky follows Wanda into the Hex" fic inspired by this amazing gifset. SWORD realizes that they can't negotiate with Wanda through terrorizing her, so they bring in Sam and Bucky to try to reason with her. Instead, Wanda's offer of happiness is too tempting for Bucky and he follows her into the Hex to exist in a universe where Steve really stayed with him until the end of the line.

But.

Bucky doesn't remember doing that, because he's in the Hex. His reality is what's happening inside the Hex.

It starts with either a The Honeymooners or an I Love Lucy chapter in the 1950s -- I can't decide whether I want the shenanigans to be more working-class Honeymooners/their actual life in Brooklyn-ish or if I want the sitcom fantasy of I Love Lucy. But either way, it's very chaste and 1950s and they sleep in separate beds and are just Happy. Nothing is wrong! Everything is a shenanigan! More silly than scary! Everything is perfect!

Then there's an Odd Couple 1960s chapter. Technically The Odd Couple was 1970-75, but the Dick Van Dyke show was WandaVision's 1950s inspo even though it was on in the '60s, so whatever. ALTERNATELY: Hogan's Heroes, because uh, Bucky was literally a POW of the Nazis for 70 years, and this would be the first clue that Something Is Amiss Because Life Isn't Perfect, but I think that's too on the nose. And I like the idea of Stucky being The Odd Couple for a chapter. I think it would be a subtle way to start letting Bucky vent his anger with Steve for leaving him without actually remembering why he's so angry with Steve.

The 1970s is Starsky & Hutch, so we're moving out of sitcoms and into mystery and also Slashy Content. Steve and Bucky are partners trying to solve [idk some Hex-related mystery, maybe seeded by Agatha?] and exchanging Heated Glances and innuendo. And then... Bucky is injured, either while mystery-solving or just cuts his left hand while making eggs or a drink or something. But his left hand doesn't bleed. It's the opposite of the Dottie moment from episode 2 of WandaVision. Something is wrong with Bucky's left arm. It's--it's not actually real.

INSERT FLASHBACK CHAPTER of Bucky getting the call from SWORD and entering the Hex, a la episode four of WandaVision.

The 1980s is Miami Vice. It's darker, sexier. A lot of exposed chesticles for both Steve and Bucky. Steve and Bucky have conflict about Lady Of The Week romance subplots being privileged over their relationship to each other, probably. Bucky's metal arm is back.

The 1990s, I'm tempted to have just straight-up be Law & Order as they try to figure out what the fuck is happening with the Hex and with their relationship to each other, but also -- and I'm sorry @therebeccaw -- very few TV shows are LESS sexy than Law & Order, and I want Steve and Bucky to bang at SOME point, so IDK. Also I'm torn about the mystery angle and I sort of want it to be Full House and have Bucky get to have one last chance at a Happy Perfect Life With Steve before he admits that none of this is real and returns to reality? Unsure.

2000s/2010s -- You know what? I'm tempted to make this one Psych, which is like a cross-section of sitcom and mystery show. Steve and Bucky are good, they're happy, Bucky is resolving his feelings about what happened in Endgame and just... wants to enjoy what time he has left with Steve, because he can feel in his bones that this will be ending soon. Even if Steve isn't real, Bucky wants to have his best friend back, wants to have the love of his life by his side. He knows, like Shawn knows that he's not a psychic, that none of what's happening in Westview is real. But it's okay. He can keep pretending.

Possible flashback chapter of their whole life experience together, from being kids in Brooklyn through the War and into the MCU stuff, a la Previously On, which is one of the best TV episodes of all time imo.

And the big ending -- IS Steve not real, and just made of Bucky's sadness and hope and love? Is he just Bucky's grief persevering?

Or, is Steve also hiding out in Westview, having given the mantle of Captain America to Sam?

I'm genuinely undecided which it'll be, so we shall see. Please stand by.

Home again

Okay, I was wrong. Sort of, anyway...

He brought me home. After everything we've been through, he brought me home. Which is fair enough, I guess. It's up to him who he travels with but, yeah, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement.

But then, as always with him, things got in the way... I'm guessing you saw the Lazarus Laboratory thing on the news. And I'm guessing that by now, you've worked out that the Doctor was involved. Thing is, this time so were my family.

I remember when I first went away to Uni. Came back for Christmas (that time of peace and goodwill – haha!) and it was so odd how they'd changed. We'd all grown up together and been through everything together but, after just a couple of months, it was obvious that things had changed. The cracks had started to show in mum and dad's marriage (and even though he eventually had the affair, mum realised their whole relationship was going wrong way before Annalise actually arrived on the scene. She's pretty sharp, my old ma!) Tish and Leo had both changed as well. Tish had moved into some tiny little bedsit and Leo had started seeing Shonara. And it had all happened while I was away. Which I guess is normal for families.

This time it was different. For them, it was the day after Leo's birthday thing but for me? Well, you know what I've been through. You know what I've seen and done since then. So, yeah, it was like I'd changed but they hadn't. I have changed, I realise that. I'm seeing things differently. And for them, I'd not even been away so none of them would understand just how big it all is. And I can't tell them because they'd think I was mad. Blimey, time travel messes with your mind.

Actually, I say they haven't changed but Leo told me that he was going to vote in the election. Leo?! Voting?!?! The world has officially gone mad.

One thing that so hadn't changed was that even though it was Tish's night, mum was still focussed on me. Tish is a year older than me but I've always been the responsible one (or the boring one as someone with a death wish might say). She never went to Uni or anything so I've always been treated as the oldest. Mum's always said that Tish should be more like me which isn't the best thing a mum can do but she doesn't mean anything bad by it. I think Tish used to resent me for it but, right now, we get on great. It's like we have this competition - I'm always trying to get her to grow up and she's always trying to get me to chill. And I've just realised, it's like we're swapping lives! I'm the one on the big holiday and she's the one in the business suit. Oh and that's mental as well. She's somehow got herself this big important job but she's such a mess. Honestly, you should see the state of her flat!! Mine, of course, is spotless.

And seeing them all, it was difficult in a way because it reminded me of what I'm leaving behind when I go off with the Doctor. I know they'll be there for me when I get back but I just hope neither me or them change too much. When I go off with the Doctor? Oh yeah, despite what I said at the beginning, I'm off again! But this time, it's totally on my terms.

You see, at the end of it all, the Doctor said I could go on one more trip but I said no. I don't care that he's the most amazing bloke I've ever met, I'm not going to be some kind of hitcher. I'm not going to be his assistant. So, I told him this. And he said I was never really that anyway.

So we're off together – as equals? Well, 60/40. Oh all right, 35/75. But it's definitely a more…permanent arrangement this time. And where now? Somewhere new. Somewhere brilliant, probably. Somewhere mad, definitely. And, hopefully, somewhere nice and sunny!

I have special insider knowledge about Yankee Candle deals you guys might like. Especially considering the holiday season.

The big Jars or 2 wick Tumblers are "30$" technically. But YK stores/online websites always have a 2 for 30$ or 4 for 60% deal going on. So they're always base value of 15$ unless you got only 1 or you get YK candles at a different store ie Target or Walmart.

The biggest candles have the best price to wax ratio. And usually have the best deals on them. Try to find deals that are less than 15$ each. Like 6 for 60$.

The worst deals and price to wax ratio is the medium jar. They are 24$. Not worth your time unless there's a specific deal like "buy 100$+ and get a select medium candle for 5$."

But the best YK deals happen in January. It's called the Semi Annual Sale. After the holiday season is over. It's basically stuff left over from Summer, Fall, Halloween, Winter, etc. Most of the stuff in the store is discounted, and discounted very good.

I know people that buy tons of stuff in January, then wait until December to give them to friends and family.

The deals I remember are Select Medium Jars 8$ each (usually 24$). Select non candle products 50-75% off. Select small tumbler candles 5$ (usually 17$).

The deals change every year (depending on what sells or doesn't. Depending on what products they want to get rid of to make room. Depending on types of candles or products they're discontinuing, etc). But the deals during January are the best you'll see at YK all year.

So if you're getting candle stuff for other people maybe wait until January and be like "Sorry I don't have your present yet. It's taking a long time bc I ordered it online." Then go in store to a YK and pick out some bomb candles to give them.

YK employees are usually really nice. We don't work on commission. We're taught to push certain products and deals but we won't be annoyed or punished if you don't get them. We're actually taught that it's more important to have you being comfortable and happy (even if you leave empty handed) than to get the biggest sale.

Don't be afraid to be straight up like "Hey I have 15$ what's the best deal I can get for that price range."

Last Note: The most popular YK scent is Pink Sands. If you have absolutely no idea what scent a person likes this one is a good bet. Or if it's a guy and you're afraid they won't like pink/beach/sweet scents then do Midsummer's Night. These candles are both year round and are always in store.

But right now there's two and they work very nicely. And we could have a top end kit and make a 350 and we could make smaller motors and ATK had like a 49CC and it gave out about eight horsepower on the smaller bike that looks like a rebel it go about 60 miles an hour with 100 50 pound person he changed the sprockets it's a little faster but it would start out slower and the chopper would go about 55 miles per hour which is plenty for some people and it would sound funny look funny and go slow we like this idea we like having the 110CC it's also a scooter motor but you go about 75 and about 65 on the chopper and that's fast people like the idea we want to start building these he says we have parts that look like the Pagliani and we have frames and we can make the same frame and the frame is a decent frame it comes from China no but it's pretty much the Leonie frame pagliani is from the Paxton paxture factory from 2010 and they stopped making them they're still frames and we changed the seals and bearings and we checked for rust and corrosion and we do a quick scan but they haven't been touched and we have about two million of them one million each and we can replicate the frame we use a regular method but we have welders that work real fast and we can use a robotics after a time you put in the jig and the robot welds it up and it's done in minutes and he says let's hire some people and he wants children of his and they want to hire others and he said perfect and what age and they're saying 10 years old is that management they said yeah so we're going to call our psycorp And the max would and yes think it intersting and good fr them Thor Freya Olympus

Re gearing the boom vader (top speed run)

Actually they coming to kit but with this CC you always have that same problem. This will go up to 75 but on a decline. It did start at 45 mph but now goes 55. With the exhaust and the new carburetor it'll probably go about 60 but you still can't use fourth gear that much and it's not really going to work without other modifications and irl really simple one is to add rims and tires that are larger I think maybe 20s will fit with a low profile tire and you can see the dimensions it has about 1-in diameter and you'll get about 70 miles an hour and you'll use fourth gear and he's going to try and do it then our son and daughter noted that you can change the piston chamber of the top end and the Piston chamber pop into the motor the entire engine and piston and use the other parts in the carburetor is separate for like $38 on Amazon it goes from 1:25 cc to 150cc it uses the same motors just a bolt up and you adjust the carburetor a little but you'll go about 85 or 90 with the other changes included if you just changed the top end like we just said and kept everything else you go from 45 miles an hour to about 60 miles an hour it's a world of difference the top end the tires and rims and the carburetor you'll go about 90 miles an hour and if you get the dot exhausted slightly different than a performance exhaust it'll go about 100 miles per hour and that's pretty quick and it looks kind of normal like a small sport bike a lot of people will do this it doesn't cost much the tires and rims believe it or not are fairly inexpensive and that's probably the largest costs are about $50 each for tire and rim so $100 the exhaust is about $40 the top end is $40 the carburetor is $30 is about $30 and all that together for shipping it's about $315 add to $1,000 for the bike and it's only $1,300 Chris if you can buy a 150 cc bike that has bigger tires and already has the motor and that goes 55 to start you add in the carburetor and it and the dot exhaust it goes up to about 75 miles an hour the tires and rims are already larger but you can put low profile tires and gain five miles an hour and it looks better when you do it up but you're really only going to go 80 and yeah that's kind of frustrating you can buy a 250cc sport bike most people take the towel off because it makes it look odd no they add the tires and rims that are bigger and lower profile and they change the carburetor and the exhaust they always change and they use the DOT those bikes are now probably $2,500 and the tires and rims you only change the tire cuz you can't fit new rims and the rest of it that the exhaust and the carburetor and tires all together it's about $500 and those things go about 95 to start miles per hour and you have to adjust your speedometer when you're looking at it or get a new one most or not adjustable and really it shows you're going faster than you are but the true speed of the bike after changes is about 150 miles an hour and if you take the cow off it goes 140 but that's on a 250 they make it 350 and her son would probably have to get that cuz he's heavy that is 2,700 and it goes about 85 with our son on it and he would probably not change anything except he doesn't like the cow and he might like it after using it

We like the small bike because it's small a lot of us are real small and we can get that Grom clone and lower it and it works great a little faster would be nice but also on it doesn't go 45 it goes about 55 and we have kids and we've seen them go up to 75 and we try the tire and rim engines upgrade and the car upgrade and exhaust it sounds like a lot of fun and they say we'll probably go 100 miles an hour that sounds great

We're going to have to do this these changes are not much money the top end for $38 it's the engine with a piston goes in it's amazingly cheap he thought it was amazingly cheap and it's a kit it has everything you need the carburetor kit is not much money some of them you just rebuild the one you have and they're like $14 or $10 I mean these things are inexpensive it's a quick change and he can actually use one if it was a 150 otherwise I won't go anywhere it will not move I see what he's saying if he got a sport bike he probably take the cow off so it doesn't look like a sport bike they attract too much attention and I actually agree

We have a couple of announcements and we purchased a couple companies today that are huge and above and beyond what we already mentioned one of them is

*accelerate metal and we did not discuss this yet but we purchased the remainder of it today we own 100% of it including its subsidiaries but not all of them. We did purchase about 75% of them and only up to 60% of each of the subsidiaries and we are seeking the rest of it now the 25% we have only 10% of each of the three and yes it is the companies that we said we purchased or part of that we told people we are having trouble with

*and also above and beyond these steel companies there are other companies that are still companies we purchased. And we did buy a portion of Pittsburgh steel and we're only at 10% and we did purchase also a portion of California steel we are at 5% us steel we're at 10% and China still wear 10% and that's not very good and we are proceeding to purchase all of the other companies that we can we have about 50 companies anywhere at 50% on each we have controlling share all of those companies gathered together equals half of us steel but accelerate metal with what we have equals half of the entire steel industry and once we finish purchasing the remainder we will have 75% of the steel industry outside of their military mining and that is huge by the way but ours is huge as well

*along with these companies we finished purchasing Arco we are at 100% 7-Eleven we are 90% almost AMPM we're at 80% and 20% White hand they're not very big and actually they're very small. Marathon and Wawa are actually Independence and we are 10% on each. There's a few others 76 we are at 50% and we have control you share and Chevron a very big company we have 50% we have controlled share and we're working on it and along with Occidental petroleum we have 70% of the oil gas and oil products industry with regards to the retailers and we are not mentioning the military levels on purpose

*in addition to these companies we purchased several electricity generation companies. And I guess we could plow through it Bechtel electrical generation company, Floyd Daniel electrical generation company, Morrison conduits and electrical generation company, Boston Edison 0, we did not get to purchase them. There's several others and their small standalone plants and they are scattered throughout there's about 50 of them and they're in 20 different states and they provide 30% of the power overall to those areas. They didn't do a real quad challenge but these things are cheap I mean they're under $1,000 and they go pretty good and the small one goes like 40 miles an hour and if you put it on a small scooter like the one that our son sent to Ken to retrofit and he just looked at the picture you get 55 mph and it's a true automatic and all you do is bolt it on and people are looking at it and they don't want to buy that but you can buy the motor so now they're going to go ahead and do it the motor is $150 it's a very good deal a lot of people are going to try and get it registered themselves and it will start up a process that was done before the Chinese might change it up and the thing is going to be selling like hotcakes he looked at that before so it was cool and it's bigger it's bigger it's not huge it doesn't look like this silly scooters they look terrible all of them are little homo jobs

As a car they're pretty good the big ones better and it's a new name and new brand and it is a 150cc for like $2,000 and it works very nicely with your guys on them they're decent and we're going to try and make a lot of them tons of people want to use them and top speed off road is about 55 miles an hour on the road it's about 60 but if you put on Enduro tires is about 80 mph it's an automatic and so is the small one that's why you put them on the moped thing so scooter that is scooter chopper

We're proving these ideas but really people are buying these now and they're doing it for the scooter and it was a woman in California who wanted one right away it was Lily and she said it's the downtown little four wheeler and she looked and you can find the motor if you can figure out what it is and if she did and she's trying to bolt it on and she got it and she can't figure out how to do it no she can it's easy she said all you do is line it up and you put the chain on after and attention is already there and she said this thing is awesome with that motor with the automatic you put it in drive and it's got like three gears it goes about 65 mph with her on it and she weighed about 150 lb usually she weighs about 110 lb and she looks like a 12-year-old child but no she looks older but it goes when she's lighter cuz she tried it about a hot about 75 miles an hour and people need that it's going to go 40 or 50 miles an hour but people still like it cuz it works it goes fast enough around here until 55 with our son on it he's lost some weight which is good and it's still losing a little he'll be down to 240 shortly he's not eating like a pig
