okay so having beat margit, I have two issues with the game right now:
the first is that for some reason every time I get a crit/riposte/whatever it breaks my lock on and I have to re-lock, which is annoying and I don't understand why that happens. It's not game-ruining, but it's a perplexing design choice that doesn't seem to serve any purpose other than inconveniencing the player in a pointless way
the second is that — and this one I think is one that could be argued against — I'm not especially fond of the camera. Namely, it doesn't seem to have any x-ray/transparency, so if I get backed into a wall/accidentally roll up to a wall or the enemy I'm locked onto positions themself juuust in the right place for some random object/foliage to be in front of my camera I just can't see what's going on at all. also sometimes when enemies do jumping attacks it seems to either give up on tracking them so that they're just off my screen or it tracks them in such a way where it's hard to gauge how far they are from the ground
Now, it could probably be argued that that second one is intentional, so you have to think about positioning and consider your environment and all that so you don't get a faceful of wall/bush/rock/etc in the middle of your fight, but I'm not especially fond of it
anyway, margit was alright. I think the only real problems I ended up having (as in, thing I still don't know how to deal with and consistently get screwed by as opposed to "oh I dodged too early/late there"/"why did I attack there I know there's a followup") were his funny beyblade attack with the hammer and stick and one of his combos with the magic light sword, which I seem to only be able to deal with by rolling away from him the moment he begins the first attacks in those combos and continuing to make distance for the duration of the combo because I seem to always get hit by one of the followup attacks (I assume you're meant to like. pace the dodgerolls in a way that he doesn't hit you with them but I ended up panic rollspamming at him when he did those combos until I decided to just get out of dodge the moment he started them)
(which isn't to say I didn't die a lot. I think I died. uuhh. maybe twenty to thirty times? (maybe more. I don't have a good memory) in my defense, I did try to parry him for most of my first few runs and intermittently went back to going for parries on my following runs. and I did manage to semi-consistently parry a couple or so of his attacks (the main ones being two of the forehand attacks with the stick that he does together, so I ended up getting quite a few ripostes off that. ended up giving up on the parries and just twohanding again though. square off is stupidly good for staggering)

9. somethin' special.
Tumblr media
The next morning, She sits on the bathroom floor, contemplating the last twelve hours of her life.
Rod talked her into going back inside the club and after her third shot, she doesn't remember anything. She got so drunk that she actually passed out and woke up in her bed with her dress still on.
She'd pulled it off and basically crawled all the way in the bathroom. Her stomach is in the tightest and most queasy knot ever. The constant dry heaving is kicking her ass. It's a good thing she was off today.
"Tyler," she called out, as loud as her sore throat can bear.
"Tylerrrr!!” She smacks the door all the way open and glares at Stevie.
"Girl, why are you on the floor? And where's your clothes?" She throws her hands up and shrugs.
She leaves out and comes back with a tank top and some shorts, sits them on the counter, before helping Stevie up off the floor. She slowly gets dressed.
"What happened last night?"
"Oh girl, you had a good ass time. You threw them shots back like a madwoman! Rod was hyping your goofy ass up, too."
She opens her medicine cabinet and pulls out the aspirin. "Let's go this way, before I fall down."
She grabs a hold of Stevie's arm and they head into her room.
She falls back on her bed and pulls the pillow over her face.
"Did you have sex last night?" She asks.
She snatches the pillow away from her face.
"No."
Tyler jerks her head back. "Why so sassy?"
"I wanted nothing more than to have sex on my birthday and he turned me down."
"You were off your ass. Of course, he turned you down." She squints her eyes at her. "I can see if y'all had sex before, but you ain't never had no dick and he was just calmin' your horny ass down, before you did something you was gon' regret, later."
Stevie shrugs, grabbing the water off her nightstand, unscrewing the cap on it, before popping two aspirin and chugging half the bottle.
"All I know is, he got me waiting this long, it better be worth it."
"Oh, I'm sure it is."
She sits in her computer chair and finishes typing the last couple of sentences for her report.
She got so carried away last night that she almost forgot that it was due by the end of today.
And yes, while everyone is done with the semester and enjoying the summertime, Stevie had to be extra as hell and take a summer course. But on the plus side, it only lasts for five weeks.
"Annnd.... done!" She hits submit in the bottom right corner and shuts her computer down. She pushes away from the table and walks towards the nightstand and grabs her ringing phone.
"Hello," she sings.
"You sound happy." Rod's voice comes through, making her chuckle and stare out the window, watching the sun start to set. "Is that for me?"
"Mmmm.... nah. I just finished my report way ahead of time, and I'm glad about it."
"Wow, it's like that?"
"Yup,” she pops her lips for emphasis.
"Damn, I had something special planned for you, too." She rolls her eyes.
"No you didn't."
"I ain't never lied to you, shorty." She sucks her teeth.
"Rod, don't play with me."
"Aight." The line goes dead. She pulls the phone away from her ear and looks at it crazily.
"Did he ju—" she stares at her phone, closes it and opens it back, her thumb reaching for that first digit, before he's calling again.
I let it ring twice, before holding it up to her ear. His deep laughter fills the silence.
"Still think I'm playin' witchu?"
"Yo ass better be on the way to come get me, I know that much."
"I got you, babygirl." She hangs up, this time.
Quickly pulling the oversized T-shirt over her head, she heads towards the pile of clothes and pulls out the soft pink crop top that Tyler bought for her birthday, along with her favorite pair of jean shorts, they made her butt look fantastic.
She pulls out her brown sandals and applies a coat of strawberry flavored gloss to her lips, before sneaking into Tyler's room. She grabs a bottle of perfume off her dresser and sprays it in front of herself, taking in the whiff.
"Hm... smells like sin." She sprays a little bit on her neck, chest, wrists and legs. She sits it down and heads downstairs.
She gets to the bottom of the staircase and there's two knocks on the door. She smirks and takes her time, walking across the floor.
Pulling the door open, Rod stands ready to greet her with a mirrored expression and a tulip, to her surprise.
Her eyes darted between the smug look on his face and the pretty flower. Her lips curl up into a smile.
"You tryna butter me up, huh?"
He laughs, before linking their fingers together and pulling her almost all the way out of the door.
"Wait, I need my key." She backs up towards the counter and grabs it, heads back out, this time closing and locking it behind her.
Opening the passenger door of his Jeep for her, he helps her inside. She sits inside and twirls the flowers between her fingers, watching how the orange hue from the sky hits the petals.
Rod rounds the car and starts it up. He glances at her, smiling to himself. She doesn't know how adorable she is to him.
Pulling out of her driveway, he starts the journey back to his place. Stevie shifts in her seat and admires his side profile, like always. She even reaches out to play with his growing beard.
He caresses the side of her hand, absentmindedly turning her on, even more than she already is.
She pulls away, only for his hand to follow and land on her thigh. He gives a squeeze for appreciation.
She hums to herself, laying her head on the seat. Coming to a red light, he turns and catches her gaze.
The same hue that shines on her flower, flows gracefully over her face and the chain that he bought her.
Facing the road just in time to see the light turn green, he continues down the road for a few minutes, before turning into his driveway. He hops out and rounds the car to open her door and help her down.
A comfortable silence falls over them as they walk the short distance to his front door. Unlocking it, he allows her to go in first.
"So... what's the someth— mm." His lips find hers, as her back becomes one with the wall beside the door. He tugs on her bottom lip and pulls away.
"I'm sure you know." Picking her up, he carries her towards the stairs. Her eyes follow the rose petals on each step and she melts right in his arms.
"Oh my gosh."
Setting her back on her feet, he pushes his bedroom door open and she lets out a gasp. He takes her hand and they follow the even bigger trail of roses to his bed. The whiff of lavender hits her nose, as she looks around at the candles that somewhat litter his dresser.
Her back hits his soft gray comforter. He kneels at the end of the bed and removes her sandals, before kissing her feet. She sits up and giggles, scooting away from him.
"Come back, babygirl." He pulls her back by her legs.
She wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him, again. He slides his hand between her legs and fidgets with the button on her shorts.
She reaches forward and grips his shirt, beginning to pull it away from his body. He raises his arms, and she tosses the shirt. He does the same with her shorts.
His large hands push her back on the bed, while his lips trail kisses from her thighs to the hem of her crop top. Her nails graze against the nape of his neck.
"You smell so good..." he pulls the material up, revealing her breasts. He grunts, before covering her left nipple with his wet mouth. She wraps her legs around his waist and lets out a whimper.
"Mmm," the stir in the pit of her stomach grows stronger. Her back bends away from the bed, but is quickly pushed back down. He repeats the action to her right nipple.
"That feels so good." His lips leave her chest and he hovers over her. She grazes her nails down his chestnut hued abs, ending at the loop on his jeans. She gives it a tug.
He taps her thigh and she removes herself from his waist. He stands from the bed and rids himself of his jeans, revealing his impressive girth to her.
Her mouth shamelessly drops open. Her eyes darted to his and back down, below his waist. He chuckles and climbs back between her legs, hooking a finger onto the thin band of her panties.
Pulling them away from her waist, he wastes no time and sloppily dives in. Her shaky fingers find the back of his head, pulling him in closer.
"Oh shit.. ohhh shit," his tongue works against her bud, until her body shakes and she cries out, reaching her first peak of the night.
But, this time, he continues to slurp away at her.
"B-baby— wait!" She scoots back and he follows. His hands wrap around her thighs, keeping her in place. She squeezes her eyes shut, and lets out a squeal.
"Unh! I'm gonna c-cum! Oh fuckkk!" She grabs the sides of his face and grinds against his mouth. He moans at her taste, making the knot in her stomach tighten.
"Fuck!" letting out the prettiest moan he's ever heard her make, she falls back on the bed and crosses her legs. Her chest rapidly rises and falls.
He reaches across her and grabs a condom, before dropping his boxers. She opens her eyes and catches another glimpse of what's about to attempt to fit inside of her.
Rolling it onto his length, he pulls her up to fully remove her shirt. Her legs find their way back around his waist, and his hands come up to caress her cheek.
"I'll be gentle, I promise."
"Okay." She places her tiny hands on his broad shoulders, maintaining eye contact.
He pushes into her slowly, groaning at how unbelievably tight she is. Her eyes widened for a second, before snapping shut.
A hiss flies out. Her lips part slightly, letting small whimpers escape.
She feels an uncomfortable pressure, biting down on her lip and breathes through her nose.
He slides all the way in, before pulling out and repeating the action.
"Are you okay, baby?" His eyes wander over her face. She nods, keeping her lip tucked between her teeth.
He continues stroking at a slow pace, making sure she's comfortable and allowing her to get used to his size. Her hands move towards his chest.
Her left leg is now perched on his hip, as the pain and pressure starts to fade, becoming replaced by what she's been waiting to feel.
Her moans fill his ear, causing a smile to break out on his lips. Her eyes flutter closed. He leans down to brush the hair away from her neck and places kisses there.
"Oh my God," she moans just above a whisper, "just like that."
Picking up his pace, he begins to grind hips into hers. She grips his back and small gasps leave her mouth. A tingle shoots through her, causing her back to arch underneath him.
"How does it feel, babygirl?" Her eyes open up again, hazily staring into his. Her mouth opens, but her words are stuck in her chest.
"S-so goo— unh," his length brushes against a spot that makes her eyes roll back. He kisses her parted lips.
"That's the spot? Right here?" One hand grabs a fistful of the covers, while the other scratches at his back. Her moans grow louder.
"Yes...yesss," continuing to hit her spot, he presses his body against hers. Her nub starts swelling as she squeezes him, involuntarily.
"Shit... you feel so good, babygirl." He sloppily kisses her, tangling his tongue with hers. Her breathing becomes labored.
She pulls away and tosses her head deep into the pillows. Her hands push at his chest, as her peak gets closer. Increasing his strokes, his hips begin to slam into hers.
"Ohh my— fuck! I'm gonna cum, baby!"
His grunts and her moans mix. Her heavy breathing turns into panting as her vision goes blurry, her chest caving in.
"Oh my God... right there... don't st–stop! Don't stop!" His hand grips her neck, making her look at him.
"Let it go, mama."
Her brows furrow deeply, pupils dilate. The jolt of pleasure that runs through her body makes her see white. Her orgasm hitting her like a ton of bricks.
He continues to grind into her, until her hands push at his waist. She covers her face and lets out a heavy sigh.
"Just.... give me a minute," she says, breathlessly.
He presses kisses on the hand that's covering her face, before grabbing her other hand and doing the same.
"That was.... wow."
He chuckles and buries his face into her neck.
"I'm glad, I could make you feel good." Humming, she throws her arm over his shoulder.
"That's definitely an understatement." He nips at her skin and pulls away, bringing his attention back to her face.
She giggles and places a peck on his lips. "Do it again."
He raises an eyebrow.
"Do what, again?"
"Make me feel good." The innocence in her smile makes him dive back into her, causing her lips to part and let out his new favorite sounds.

The Librarian Part 1
"I hope you enjoy your books, Lisa," the Librarian said giving her a wink. Lisa smiled. There was no way she was going to enjoy these books, just the thought of reading them made her feel tired. But they were required reading material for her classes in University so there was no choice but to read them.
When Lisa got home, however, she noticed that the books were really not what she had asked for. The Covers had the correct titles but they turned out to be stories about people getting hypnotized. Lisa kept on reading out of curiosity at first but as the stories got wilder and wilder she couldn't stop. So turned on by what she was reading she didn't even notice the time until one of her roommates knocked on the door to ask her to join the rest of them for dinner. Hoping they wouldn't notice how wet she had become she joined them, but was unable to focus on their conversations as her mind kept drifting back to all the hot stories she had been reading. If she hadn't been so turned on she might have wondered how she ended up with these books but her mind was taking a break while her pussy had taken over the thinking.
After dinner, she excused herself as quickly as she could without being rude and then spent the rest of the evening reading. Lisa couldn't remember falling asleep but she woke up face in one of the books. She had known she would need to return them the next day to get the actual books for her classes, so she had done her best to read as much as possible. Before she had gotten her hands on them she hadn't known that hypnosis and mind control would turn her on so much, instead, she had thought of herself as fairly vanilla.
The librarian Judy looked at her in surprise when she returned that morning.
"Already back dear? Did you forget something?" There was something in her voice whenever she spoke to Lisa that made her feel as if Judy thought she was five years old or perhaps that she wasn't quite all there and needed help understanding things. Judy was never rude but her tone and the slow way she seemed to only speak with Lisa made her feel somewhat at a disadvantage in every conversation with the woman.
Lisa took a deep breath, surely she was just imagining these things. She took out the books she had taken yesterday and put them on the counter. "Ehm these books don't seem to be the right ones. It seems like someone put on the wrong book covers by accident?"
Lisa didn't really think that could have been an accident, someone must have wanted to play a prank on anyone looking for these books, that's the only explanation she could come up with.
Judy frowned, opening the first book to take a look. After a glance she shook her head, opening the next book and then the next.
"You are right, dear. Wait here, I will get you the correct ones." She turned around and walked off but Lisa could have sworn she heard her mutter "A silly girl like you can't be left alone with so many confusing books I'm sure." But perhaps she had just imagined it after drowning her mind in all those naughty stories last night. Surely the librarian wouldn't say things like that.
A few moments later Judy returned with the books. This time it was Lisa who opened them one by one to check if they were indeed the right ones.
"Yes dear, as you can see I found you the correct ones. Maybe next time instead of wandering the isles in confusion come straight to me and I will get you everything you need." She patted her on the arm.
"I..." Lisa started not sure how to respond. Judy looked her at sternly, clearly expecting some kind of answer.
"Yes Miss Franklin," Lisa said quietly looking to the floor. Somehow this made her feel like a little girl being told off by her teacher. She had always tried her best not to be in that situation.
The Librarian smiled. "Call me Judy."
"Yes Judy," Lisa said but that made her feel even weirder. At least the use of her last name implied she was some kind of authority figure but now?
"Go on then dear. Go home and enjoy the books." She winked just as she had the day before. Lisa smiled at her before leaving.
Lisa didn't have time for anything before class but in the afternoon when her classes were over she decided it was best to get started on reading. After having already lost a day, she really needed to hurry.
Just as she had expected the very first book she started reading was insanely boring. It wasn't even the subject matter that was the problem. It could have been interesting, but the way it was written, as if it was made to make the reader fall asleep or at the very least space out. And then after a few pages, it got weird. It started with the letters just looking slightly off, then on the next page the spacing between words got strange and eventually, she couldn't read anything anymore. Nothing made sense. Just a bunch of very strange-looking letters that didn't form words she understood.
With a sigh, Lisa decided her eyes had probably just gone tired and decided to take a break. As if on autopilot her hand wandered to her breasts, playing with her nipples that had already hardened before she touched them. Usually, Lisa masturbated maybe once or twice a month and the orgasms she had were always sort of disappointing. But now she suddenly felt so horny and somehow she knew if she came it would be amazing. One of her hands slit into her panties and started playing with her wet pussy. And just like she had expected it didn't take her long to get close to cumming but somehow she couldn't get over that final hurdle. Her orgasm left her waiting...and waiting...and waiting. For what seemed like an hour she came close but never quite reached the top. Lisa had never experienced this before, yet somehow every time she got close and then failed to cum she got even hornier.
A knock on the door let her know it was time for dinner. Frustrated she stopped playing with herself. After a quick trip to the bathroom, she sat down at the table.
"You look tired today Lisa," her roommate Frannie said. "Long day?"
Lisa only nodded, really not wanting to talk about it. Frannie must have sensed it and didn't question her any further. Instead, she started a conversation with Maggie.
After dinner, she helped clean up before returning to her room. Maggie had asked if she wanted to watch a movie with her and Frannie but Lisa had told them she needed to study. Lisa decided to give one of the other books a go. Just like the first book she read, it started perfectly normal but after a few pages, the letters and words started to change. Lisa didn't know for how long she tried reading them anyway before giving up completely. Frustrated she tossed the book back on her desk, before picking up the third and last book she had gotten. But instead of starting to read it, she flipped through the pages, stopping somewhere in the middle to look at the writing there. And it too had weird letters and words she didn't understand. This time she didn't even bother to try to read any of them but closed the book instead. First thing tomorrow morning she would return them and give the librarian a piece of her mind.
Lisa decided there was not much point in trying to study now, she wouldn't be able to concentrate. She could have joined her roommates in watching a movie, she could hear them laughing in the living room but her mood wasn't right for that. It was probably better to call it a night early.
But she had trouble falling asleep, tossing and turning for a while before her hands somehow found their way to her breasts, where her nipples were already hard in anticipation of her touch. Lisa rubbed and pinched them, sighing in pleasure. Her right hand wandered down into her panties finding her pussy still very wet and her clit sensitive after the long session from earlier. Slowly she started rubbing herself, biting on her pillow to keep the moans down. If she could just cum then surely she would be able to fall asleep and be well rested tomorrow. But she never did. She just got close, ever closer but the orgasm still eluded her.
Lisa woke up the next morning feeling dizzy. Her right hand was still in her panties, covered in the wetness of her pussy. It took her a few moments before she remembered the night. Having been crazy horny she had tried to cum but just couldn't. She didn't know for how long she tried and must have fallen asleep eventually. No wonder she was still tired. Thinking a shower might help, she got up with a groan.
Lisa did feel a little better after the shower, at least her body seemed to be more awake now even if her mind still was somewhat hazy. She packed her bag and grabbed an apple to eat on the way as there was not enough time for proper breakfast.
Judy Franklin greeted her with a smile when she entered the Library.
"What brings you back to me so quickly my dear?" she asked. "Any more trouble with those pesky hard-to-read books?"
All of the bravado Lisa had before entering the library just left her. Gone was the desire to give Judy a piece of her mind, for giving her these messed up books. She just couldn't be rude to Judy. After all, she needed the librarian's help and how was she going to get that by acting like a brat?
"Yes, actually," Lisa said a little timid before taking the books out of her backpack and putting them on the counter.
"I tried reading them last night," she started but then didn't quite know how to finish. How was she going to explain that the letters and words just got strange and stopped making sense? It even sounded weird in her mind, Judy would probably think she was crazy.
"And you couldn't get your sweet tiny brain around the words?" Judy continued for her. Lisa found herself nodding before she even realized it. Had Judy just insulted her? Surely she must have misheard.
"Maybe they are just too hard for you, dear. Are you sure that the courses you picked are the right ones? Should you even be at a university at all? Or did your teachers just up your grades a bit because they were attracted to you?"
Judy spoke in a soft tone that didn't quite fit what she was saying. Lisa stared at the woman, unsure how to even respond. It wasn't the first time she had been accused of such. There had been plenty of people in her school who had been jealous of her high grades and her good looks and insinuated that maybe her grades weren't only down to her brain.
Lisa decided to ignore it, opening one of the books to show Judy what the problem was.
"Here, it gets all weird. If you could take a look?" She found herself almost pleading.
The librarian came around the counter to stand behind Lisa and looked into the book.
"I don't see any problems with this, dear. Maybe the words are just too big and complicated for you?"
"You can...read it?" Lisa asked.
To Lisa's astonishment, Judy started reading out loud.
"I don't understand." Lisa's voice was all but a mutter now. How could Judy read it when the letters and words were so strange?
"The words make no sense, all the letters are so weird. I can't read any of them."
She felt Judy pat her on the head.
"It's okay dear. Maybe just try again?"
Even though Lisa didn't think it was going to change anything, she bent down to look at the words, trying to read them.
"No... I can't read..."
"Just keep trying," Judy insisted and Lisa found herself unable to stop. She just had to keep looking at the words.
"Don't you worry your pretty little head about what they mean. It is not important," Judy said. Lisa could feel her hands on her shoulders now, massaging her.
"No need to be so tense and full of worry. Just focus on the words and they will make it all better."
Yes, the longer Lisa looked at them, the more relaxed she started to feel. She hadn't even realized that she had been all tensed up.
"Good girl," Judy said, her hands now moving down Lisa's chest. Lisa barely noticed that the librarian opened the buttons of her blouse.
"The university is no place for a dumb little girl like you, Lisa." Judy removed the blouse.
"Dumb girls that can't even read properly shouldn't take spots from others." She unhooked Lisa's bra. Lisa heard what she was saying and wanted to protest but found herself unable to do so. The words just wouldn't come out of her mouth.
"Dumb bimbos with big titties like you should be focused on other things, shouldn't they?" She tossed the bra to the floor, her hands finding Lisa's still-stiff nipples to play with them. Lisa found herself nodding without being able to stop herself. She was no dumb bimbo, was she?

You glanced over at the entrance to the shop and saw Robin standing there. “Nothing,”
“Yeah, he was just showing me how to fill the tubs up,”
“And that’s why half of the ice cream is on you and not in the tubs?”
“Slight malfunction?”
“Yeahhh,” Robin trailed off for a second before speaking again. “It is fascinating what 20 bucks will get you at the County Recorder’s Office,” She said walking into the back room while  you and Steve followed her.
“Starcourt Mall,” She said, placing down blueprints as Dustin walked into the backroom. “The complete blueprints. So, this is us, Scoops, and this is where we want to get,”
“I mean, I don't really see a way in,”
“There's not, if you're talking exclusively about doors,” She said, flipping to the next page.
You realized what she was going for. “Air ducts,”
“Exactly. Turns out, this secret room needs air just like any old room and these air ducts lead all the way here,”
Steve placed the ladder right below the air duct, climbed up it and took the vent off.
“Flashlight,”
Dustin handed him one. “Thank you,”
After a few minutes of looking he came to a conclusion. “Yeah, I don't know, man. I don't know if any of us can fit in here. It's, like super tight,”
“I'll fit. Trust me. No collar bones, remember?”
Steve climbs down the ladder and Dustin climb up the stairs
“Uh, excuse me?”
“Oh, he's, uh Yeah, he's got some disease. Chry, uh It's chrydo, um Something. Yeah, I dunno. He's missing bones and stuff. He can bend like Gumbo,”
“You mean Gumby,”
“I'm pretty sure it's Gumbo,”
Robin looked at me. “I have no idea how to pronounce it,”
“Steve, just shut up and push me!”
Steve walked over to where your brother was in the duct and tried pushing him. “Okay. I'll push ya,”
“Not my feet, dumbass. Push my ass,
“What? Touch my butt!  I don't care!,”
“Come on! Harder! Push harder!”
“I'm pushing!”
“You're playing with my legs,”
“I'm not playing, I have terrible footing,”
“Come on!”
“I'm gonna just shove you, ready?”
“Just shove me?” -
“One, two,”
“Shit,”
“That work?”
“One more time,”
That entire ordeal just made you bust out laughing at the sheer stupidity that is your brother and Steve.
“Ahoy, sailors! All hands on deck! Ahoy!” A voice came out of nowhere. You turned around and looked. “Come on. Get over here and serve me some samples,”
You and Robin both looked at each other as if you had the same idea.
After explaining the plan to Erica and Steve pulling Dustin out of the duct, Erica was sure she’d fit but now she’s trying to negotiate a deal. Steve was over at the counter fixing her whatever ice cream she wanted. “Know what I love most about this country? Capitalism. Do you know what capitalism is?”
“Yeah,”
“Yeah,”
“Of course,”
“It means this is a free market system. Which means people get paid for their services, depending on how valuable their contributions are. And it seems to me, my ability to fit into that little vent is very, very valuable to you all. So, you want my help? This USS Butterscotch better be the first of many and I'm talking free ice cream for life,”
You and Dustin both looked at Robin and after a few minutes of making her the banana split, Steve came back over. They both agreed to her demands. These two are gonna end up being fired because of this. After she got done eating her ice cream, you four ran up to the roof of the building from last night as she was climbing through the ducts. “All right, nerds. I’m there,”
“Do you-Do you see anything?”
“Yeah, I see those boring boxes you’re so excited about,”
“Any guards?”
“Negative,”
“Booby traps?”
“If I could see them, they’d be pretty shit traps, wouldn’t they?”
“Thank you for that,”
“I’m in,” She said and a few seconds later the doors opened up.
-
You guys walked cautiously into the room and Steve cut one of the boxes open and it revealed some sort of metal box with a weird lock on it. Steve twisted the lock and it had some sort of vials in it. “That’s definitely not Chinese food,”
“Maybe, uh, maybe you guys should, you know, stand back,”
You, Robin, and Erica all without hesitation took a few steps back. Dustin, however, didn’t. “No,”
“Just-Just step back, okay?”
“No!”
“Dustin, just step back,”
“No!  If he dies, I die,”
“Okay,” Steve said, pulling up the vial. “What the hell?”
“What is that?”
You were looking at the vial which had some sort of green goo in it when you felt the room shake. "Was that just me, or did the room move?"
"Booby traps,"
Robin grabbed the vial from Steve's hand. "You know what? Let's just grab that and go,"
Dustin who already was at the box looked at Erica. "Which one do I press, Erica?"
"Just press the damn button, nerd,"
"Which one? I'm pressing the button, okay?"
"Press "open door"
"I'm pressing "open door".
Steve walked over to where Dustin was standing "Just open the Press the other button,"
"Out of the way so she can push the button?"
"Would you stop?"
"I'm trying. Would you let me just do it? Would you stop?"
"Just open the door!"
At that point, the room started dropping which sent all over you screaming at the top of your lungs. “Shit! Shit! We're going down! We're going down!”
“Yeah, no shit, Harrington!” You yelled out.
“Why don't these buttons work?!” P
“Press the button!”
“What do you think I'm doing?!”
“Come on, press something! Just press the button!”
“Push it!”
All of a sudden the room abruptly stopped and you heard Steve groan. “My groin. It fell on my groin. Dustin!”
Dustin strained himself as he picked up the box from Steve’s lap. Steve slowly stood up but looked at every single one of you.
You did the same thing. “Is everyone okay?”
“Yeah, I'm great, now that I know that Russians can't design elevators! I think we've clearly established that those buttons don't work,” Steve complained.
“They're buttons. They have to do something,”
“Yeah, if we had a keycard,”
“A what?”
“It's an electronic lock.  Same as the loading dock door. If we don't have a keycard, it won't operate meaning-”
“We're stuck in here,”
“Yeah. Just so you nerds are aware, I'm supposed to be spending the night at Tina's, and Tina always covers for me. But if I'm not home for Uncle Jack's party tomorrow and my mom finds out you three are responsible, she's gonna hunt you down, one by one, and slit your throat,”
“I don't care about Tina! Or Uncle Jack's party! Your mom's not gonna be able to find us if we're dead in a Russian elevator!” Steve snapped on Erica.
“Hey,” Dustin said as you all turned and looked at him and saw that he was looking on top of the elevator. “What if we climbed out?”
It took them a few minutes to climb out of the elevator and a couple of seconds to look around above us and then they came back down. “That’s not gonna work because there is nothing for us to climb besides the cable and we are very far down into the Earth,”
-
By what the time on your watch said it had been about eight hours since you were trapped in this elevator and everyone was starting to get annoyed with each other. You were sitting down while Robin and Erica were arguing over something when you heard something hitting the wall. You looked over and couldn’t believe what you were seeing. “Whoever is taking a leek up there, redirect your stream, please?”
Whoever it was did redirect the stream but pretty much still in the same area. “Thank you for that,”
It went quiet again and that’s when you heard something whirring and it was coming close to us. “We’ve got company,”
The boys helped you, Erica, and Robin up onto the top of the elevator and you saw two Russians coming in, spoke something in Russian, grabbed a few boxes left and the elevator door was closing. Steve grabbed the vial that was in Erica’s hand and dropped down into the floor and placed the vial under the door so it would stop it so we could go through. “Go, go, go, go, go,”
You all had managed to get past the door before the door shut. The vial had broken and whatever shit was in it and was eating away at the floor. Robin looked at Erica. “You still wanna drink that?”
You looked away from them and down the hallway. “Fuck,”
“Well hope you guys are in good shape,” Steve said, tapping Dustin’s stomach. “Looking at you, roast beef. Let's go, come on,”
“Why me?”
You had walked most of it in complete silence not knowing what to think or say. You were in the middle of a secret Russian base with two girls that you just met, your brother and a guy that you’re pretty sure you’re falling hard for. You always try to talk Dustin out of doing stupid shit like that but  he always talks you into and the reason why is beyond you.You knew you should know better but that’s the big sister in you. You didn’t want Dustin to be in a dangerous situation without you. Your legs were starting to hurt but you kept pushing through.
“You have to admit, as a feat of engineering alone, this is impressive,”
You all looked at Dustin in complete stupidity but Steve was one to talk. “What are you talking about? It's a total fire hazard. There's no stairs, there's no exit, there's just an elevator that drops you halfway to hell,”
You rolled her eyes. “They're Commies. You don't pay people, they cut corners,”
Robin pointed at you. “To be fair to our Russian comrades, I don't think this tunnel was designed for walking. Think about it, they developed the perfect system for transporting that cargo. It all comes into the mall like any old delivery. And then they load it up onto those trucks and nobody's the wiser,”
“You think they built this whole mall so they could transport that green poison?”
“I very seriously doubt it's something as boring as poison. It's gotta be much more valuable, like promethium or something,”
“What the hell is promethium?”
“It's what Victor Stone's dad used to make Cyborg's bionic and cybernetic components,”
“You're all so nerdy, it makes me physically ill,”
“No, no, no. No, don't lump me in with them. I'm not a nerd, all right?”
“Why so sensitive, Harrington? Afraid of losing cool points to a ten-year-old child?”
“No, I'm just saying I don't know jack shit about Prometheus,”
“Promethium,” You said, not even bothering to look at Steve. “Prometheus is a Greek mythological figure,”
Steve looked over at you, shocked. “You’re a nerd too?”
 You just shrugged. “Maybe,”
“It’s probably being used to make something,”
“Or power something,”
“Like a nuclear weapon?”
“Totally. Walking towards a nuclear weapon. That's great. That'd be great,”
“But if they're building something, why here? I mean, Hawkins. Seriously. Of all places,”
You girls kept walking and didn’t notice that Steve and Dustin stopped walking for a few seconds. You turned around and looked behind you and saw that Dustin and Steve were whispering about something. Robin was the one to speak. “Is there something that you wanna share with the class?”
You pointed at Robin. “What she said,”
They both looked at each other for a second before looking back at you and they looked like they wanted to say something but the walkie started to come in. “Walkie,”
"A trip to China sounds nice." If you tread lightly."
“It's the code,”
“Wherever that broadcast is coming from-.
“It's close,”
“And if there's one thing we know about that signal It can reach the surface,”
“Let's go,”
-
You had walked down more of the hallways and you saw where all of the Russians were at and the room was full of them.
“First floor, northwest,” Erica said.
 “Saw what?”
“The comms room,”
“You saw the comms room?”
“Correct,”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive. The door was open for a second, and I saw a bunch of lights and machines and shit in there,”
“That could be a hundred different things,”
Steve looked between you and Robin. “ I'll take those odds. All right. We're gonna move fast, we're gonna stay low,”
You all snuck into the room without being noticed but as soon as you looked in front of you, you saw a Russian standing there. He spoke in Russian but you couldn’t understand it. Robin tried a few different things but it didn’t work out. Steve got tired of waiting and attacked the man. Steve took a couple of punches but eventually Steve knocked him out. “Hey Steve,”
“What, yn?”
“You did it! You actually won a fight!”
“Shut up, at least I’m not a nerd,”
“At least I won every fight I got into,”
“Oh really, now?”
“Yeah. Wanna bet I can take you?”
“Yeah, I’ll take that bet,” Your brother said.
“Guys,” Robin said, climbing back down the stairs. “There's something up there.
You all climbed out the stairs and you saw that there was some sort of machine that was pulsating and shooting out bolts of electricity at something. You didn’t know what it was. It looked like they were tearing apart the fabric of space. “The gate,” Both Dustin and Steve said in unison.
You looked at your brother. “You seen this before?”
“Uhm not exactly,”
“Then what, exactly?”
“All you need to know is it’s bad,”
“It’s really bad. Like end-of-the-human-race-as-we-know-it kind of bad,” Steve said as we walked back down the stairs.
“And you know about this how?”
“Wait, is this gate thing what you helped Dustin on?”
“Yes and no,”
“What does that mean?”
“Um, Steve? Where's your Russian friend?”
You all looked at Erica and then turned around and saw that the Russian was gone and then the alarm started blaring. “Shit,”
“Halt! Halt!”
“Shit,”.
You guys all took off up the stairs into the room with this gate thing and then ran across the room and into a room that was in the back of that room. You saw Steve trying to hold the door shut, you ran over to the door and helped keep it shut.
“Here!” Erica said as she lifted up a hatch to a door that was on the floor. “Come on, let's go!”
“Just get out of here! Get help,”
“Robin, go with them,”
As soon as those three had escaped, your bodies gave in to the weight that was pressing against the door as the Russians pushed through. A few guards grabbed you and a few guards grabbed Steve and they put you into separate rooms to I guess interrogate you. They threw you into a chair. “What’s your name?”
You didn’t answer him. “Who do you work for?”
You didn’t answer him again.
This went on for a good few minutes and you were surprised they didn’t hit you for it. You knew you were playing a dangerous game with them but your life was in danger the past two days and you just plain didn’t care anymore. If they were too busy with you and Steve, the more time Robin and the other two could get help.
“I’ll ask you again, who do you work for?”
This time you talked but answered his question with a question. “Where’s my friend?”
“Answer our questions and we’ll take him to you,”
You raised an eyebrow at him. “I know how you Russians work. I answer your questions and you won’t take me to my friend. So take me to him and maybe just maybe I’ll answer your question,”

Made-up title fic (from my other blog):
“Somebody else”.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Synopsis: Sami and Kevin. You couldn't mention one without the other. They were inseparable, joined at the hip. They've done it all...including that and doing that would change their lives forever.
Warning: NSFW for mature content. Do not read if you’re under 18.
A/N: Gif of Kevin doesn't belong to me, credit to the original owner.
***Flashback***
Kevin could feel the butterflies fluttering in his stomach. It had been so long since their last encounter, but he still remembers the night vividly. They were young and curious, probably in their early 20's. Kevin, ever the romantic, decides to set the mood by playing "When."
Their eyes lock, hearts beating fast. After glancing Sami over one last time, Kevin leans in, capturing his lips in a tender kiss. It didn't take long for the kiss to deepen. Fingers tangling in hair, tongues eagerly exploring each other's mouths. When things become heated and Kevin presses Sami into the mattress, the redhead resists his advances. A look of concern etched across Kevin's features.
Sami flashes him a reassuring smile, reaching up to cup his cheek. "Kev, before we go any further, I want you to promise me something." His voice soft, as his gaze remains fixed on Kevin. "You have to promise you won't fall in love with me."
Kevin furrows his brow, the very notion making him chuckle. "Don't flatter yourself." He quips, gripping Sami's chin and guiding him toward his lips, pressing them roughly against his own with need.
The lights were dim, but he could still detect every detail of Sami's face. Soft moans echoing off of paper thin walls, promises whispered in the dark. Fingers interlaced, as Kevin's thrusts deepen. Their bodies drenched in sweat, melding together to become one.
***End of flashback***
Kevin's shaken from his reverie upon hearing his name. The familiar voice ringing out, causing his heart to flutter. "Sami." He says a little too excitedly, rising to his feet and toppling over in the process.
"Kev." Sami says, glancing over his shoulder to bid a fond farewell to Finn who dropped him off. "I wasn't expecting you so early."
Kevin could sense Sami isn't alone, as he shoves the redhead aside to peer down the hallway. "Who was that?" He asks, turning to face him.
"It's just Finn, Kev." Sami replies with an amused chuckle, noting the jealousy in his tone. "You're behaving like a jealous husband. What's gotten into you?"
Sami's choice of words causes his heart to skip a beat. He would be more than willing to drop down on one knee right now if it meant Sami would say yes. "I'm sorry." He replies rather sheepishly. "The thought of you being with somebody else tears me up inside."
A knowing smirk graces Sami's lips as he reaches out to cup his cheek. "You have nothing to worry about." He soothes, caressing Kevin's skin with his fingertips. "I'm not the bulging muscles type."
Upon hearing this the envy slowly fades, Sami's reassurance putting his mind at ease. "Do you remember what you said to me that night?" Kevin softly asks, tears brimming his warm brown eyes as they meet Sami's. "You had me promise I wouldn't fall in love with you." His voice starting to tremble. "I've never been good at keeping promises."
Sami's smile grows wider and his heart beat faster. He couldn't believe Kevin remembered the pact they made all those years ago. His hazel eyes shining brightly, as they remain fixed on Kevin. "I knew you wouldn't be able to resist me." He quips with a smug grin.
"Don't flatter yourself." Kevin counters, history repeating itself as he grips Sami's chin, guiding his lips to his own in a passionate kiss.
************************************************************************
Bonus scene (because I had to):
The pair lay in bed holding on to one another. Sami resting his head on Kevin's chest, listening contently to his heartbeat. The room peacefully silent, besides for rain drops hitting the window.
Kevin runs his fingers through Sami's wavy crimson locks, when a thought occurs to him. "You called me a jealous husband."
Hearing Kevin mention this elicits a giggle from the redhead. "That's what you were acting like." He replies, smiling as he meets his gaze.
Seeing Sami look at him with that smile, he feels as if he is floating. It's the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen, a sight he'd love to wake up to every morning. "Would you ever want to...?" He trails off, hoping Sami would understand what he's implying.
The smile all but vanishes from Sami's lips, his face lighting up at the mere thought. "Kev, are you proposing?" He softly asks, his heart pounding so hard he thought it might explode out of his chest.
Kevin's face is flushed red at this point, as he manages to stammer out nervously: "I-I mean...wo-would y-"
"Yes!" Sami interjects, lifting himself off of the mattress to brush his lips tenderly against Kevin's. "You just made me the happiest man in the world." He adds, pressing his forehead gently against Kevin's. Eager to see what the future holds for them.

burnt out (tasm! peter parker)
summary: when you're feeling a little burnt out, peter's there to remind you of what's important (the answer? pizza)
warnings: language
i hope you enjoy!! naturally, this has not been proofread
- jazz xx
Tumblr media
"I'm hooooome!"
The call of Peter's voice was met with silence as he stepped into your apartment. The lights were dimmed, living room lit only by the dull glow of the television and an episode of Buzzfeed Unsolved playing quietly in the background. He knew you were home - your Converses were abandoned by the door and your work apron tossed aside on the kitchen counter. Besides, the apartment was fucking tiny. You couldn't have been that hard to find.
Tossing his Spiderman mask and pizza box onto the coffee table, Peter crept through to the bedroom. Bingo. You were passed out on the bed, laptop still open and your textbook acting as a makeshift pillow. He couldn't help but smile, gently reaching out a hand to brush some of hair back from your face. It was the height of the busy season at your internship; it worried Peter a little how busy you were, running between interviews, appointments and your evening shifts at a local diner. He hadn't seen you catch a break all month. Hell, he'd barely seen you.
"Hey, gorgeous," Peter gave you a gentle nudge. "I brought pizza."
You peeled open one eye, smiling slightly when you saw him. "What time is it?"
"Just gone ten-"
"- fuck!"
You bolted up, pages of notes flying everywhere as you leapt off the bed. Your laptop narrowly avoided entering the atmosphere too, saved only by Peter managing to grab it at the last second. He watched as you sprinted through to the living room, reaching for your phone.
"Hey!" he called after you. "What's up?"
"I was meant to start work two hours ago!" you cried. "And I was meant to have this paperwork done by six, and now I'm behind on notes too-"
"- it's a Friday!" Peter cut you off. "You never work Fridays at the diner."
"It's Saturday, Pete," you shook your head.
"No, it's definitely Friday," he put his hands on your shoulders, giving them a light squeeze. "Are you seriously losing track of the days?"
You groaned. "Yeah, a little."
You were busting your ass a lot for an unpaid internship - even more so because your boss was an absolute pain in the ass. With the added pressure of your second job to pay rent, your time to relax was far and few. It felt like you were always on the go, constantly trying jumping from one thing to the next. If you complained, you felt ungrateful. So many people would have killed for the opportunity you had, even if it was completely draining you.
"Look," Peter began. "I am so proud of you, but if you keep pushing yourself you're gonna end up getting sick-"
"- Pete, this internship is my big break," you cut him off. "If I can get a permanent position there then I'm set for life."
"I know," he sighed. "Just remember that you're a human and you are allowed a break."
"There's no time for a break," you muttered. "If I'm not working this job, I'm at the diner, and if I'm not doing either of those then I'm just worried, you know? About making rent, about impressing my boss-"
"- if you're worried about rent I can sell more photos," Peter reminded you. "We might have to cancel Hulu but we can survive on just one job for a while."
You gave him a small smile. "You shouldn't have to do that."
"I want to," he ran his hands up and down your arms, looping them gently around your wrists. He guided them up to his shoulders and pulled you towards him, wrapping his arms around your waist and gently swaying you side to side. "I'd work ten jobs if it meant you get a proper night's sleep, okay?"
"I might able to cut down some hours at the diner," you said.
"And you need to set some boundaries with your boss," he reminded you. "Even if this job paid, they're over-working you. You shouldn't be made to feel guilty for wanting to relax."
"Yeah, you're right," you nodded. "At least it's the weekend, I suppose?"
"Exactly," he grinned. "I haven't had you to myself in weeks so you are not leaving my sight until the weekend."
You smiled, following Peter over to the couch. Even though you saw him in passing, it had been a long time since you'd hung out, just you and him. Neither of you needed anything fancy, like an expensive dinner or big night out; just watching television on the couch with pizza was a fucking dream. It had always been simple like that - as long as it was you and him, nothing else mattered. Because despite your respective jobs and him being a vigilante and all, your relationship was the most uncomplicated thing in your life.
Peter pulled you into lap, arms returning to their usual spot around your waist. He wrapped a blanket - knitted, courtesy of Aunt May - around you both and leant back into the couch. It was if the tension left your body straight away -- somewhat because of his touch, but mostly at the realisation that he was the only thing that mattered. Internships and work stress aside, you knew that you would be okay wherever you ended up, just as long as you had Peter by your side.
"I'm sorry I've been a bit crap lately," you murmured.
"You haven't," he gave your waist a light squeeze. "We all get busy."
You glanced over your shoulder, peering up at him. "Yeah, but I forgot about the important things."
"Hey, it's okay," Peter pressed a soft kiss to the back of your head. "Remember when I became Spiderman and I ignored you for like a whole semester?"
"Pete," you snorted. "We were like seventeen back then-"
"- and yet, you're still here," he grinned. "My point is that we've grown together, right? No matter how busy we get, we're always gonna know what's important."
"I love you, Parker."
"I love you too, Future Parker."
"Future Parker?" you quirked an eyebrow.
"I mean, I can take your surname if you want-"
"- propose to me first, and then we'll talk surnames," you gave him a smile and a kiss to the jaw.
"Already planning on it."

Running Away With You

Bang Chan x reader; non idol AU; established relationship; fluff; midly suggestive at places
Word Count: 4.25k
A/N: A huge thank you to @youn9racha, for this super cute request. I am as much a sucker for road trips as I am for Chan, so I really enjoyed writing this!! I hope you like it as much as I did.
"Do you ever just want to pack your bags and run away in the night, without telling anyone?," you ask your boyfriend, Chan, as you both lay in bed one night. "That's an interesting question," he says, playing with your hair, "Though first I'd like to know what made you think of that." "Pfft. It's nothing too complex, Christopher. It's just a random thought that popped into my head," you say, while rolling your eyes at his inquisitive nature.
"Y/N, I know you, and I can sense that you've got something bothering that pretty head of yours, and making you want to run away. So tell me, what is it?," Chan speaks in a soothing tone, making you snuggle into his chest even more, while letting out a sigh. "It's just, work has been so crazy these past few days, and the pressures of the real world are getting to me. You remember when we were back in college? Whenever things got too hard, we used to go on road trips to clear our heads. Even a couple days away from the harsh real life were enough to rejuvenate us. I guess I just miss those times, now that real life responsibilities are wearing us down."
Once you're done with your little rant, Chan pulls your head up a little, making you look at him. He softly says, "Aww baby, I'm so sorry I didn't realize you've been struggling these past few days. I guess I've been too busy with my own work tonoticee. I know we're no longer in college, but I promise to you, that whenever the going gets tough, I'll do everything in my ability to help your through." "I know Channie, I know. I have you, and it's more than enough."
You give in to sleep after a while, and so, you fail to notice that Chan takes a little longer to fall asleep that night. He keeps thinking back on what you said earlier, carrying out an internal debate with himself. "Y/N is right. Work and responsibilities have taken a toll on us, and a road trip may be just what we need. But can we really afford to just 'run away?' There are too many projects, too many commitments. And we owe it to our colleagues to tell them that we will be away for a few days," he thinks to himself, before slowly drifting off to dreamland.
The next morning brings with itself a fresh hustle, but your face doesn't betray any sign of the frustrations you let come to the surface last night. But Chan knows better, and, seeing his reflection while getting ready for work, he realizes that his own expression mirrors yours. A thin veil to hide the fact that it's getting too much. At his office that day, he can't seem to focus on his work, since his mind keeps drifting back to your words. By the time the evening rolls around, he has made up his mind. He's going to run away with you, for a week anyway.
But a road trip needs some planning, and Chan wants this vacation to be the perfect little surprise for you. So, on his way home, he stops by at the convenience store to buy some essentials. Instant noodles, a few bottles of beer, disposable utensils, rental DVDs, he collects quite a few things, being reminded of your college days with each item he adds to his cart. In a moment of impulse, he even purchases a tent fit for two, and once he's done shopping, he hides everything in the boot of his car. You don't need to know of his plan, yet.
The following day, he leaves his office early, calling in a week's leave of absence due to some made-up reason. Instead of going home, he first drops by at your office. Not to meet you, but to get a similar application for leave approved on your behalf.
He finally heads back home to pack and ready a couple of things for your trip. "Y/N wanted to run away in the middle of the night, and that is what we'll do," he smiles to himself. When you come home, he remains tight-lipped about his little surprise for you, even though his excitement is trying to get the best of him.
Once the clock strikes twelve, he brings you out to his car, without telling you the reason. "Just please, come on! Don't you trust me?," he says, pouting. On his way out of the house, he picks up your phone from the couch, along the house keys. You don't notice this, however, as you're busy pestering him with questions. "Chan, why are we going out so late at night? What's going on? Tell me!" "You wanted to run away, right? Well, how about running away...... to the convenience store?," he smiles cheekily, making you giggle. "Gosh you're such a cheesy idiot," you say, getting into the car, still blissfully unaware of his intentions.
"Yeah, but I'm your cheesy idiot," he laughs, pressing his foot on the accelerator.
It doesn't take you long to realize that instead of driving over to the 24/7 close to your house, Chan has pulled onto the highway. You turn to look at him, only to see him smiling brightly, his eyes trained ahead. "Chan, what are you doing?," you ask, though feel like you already know the answer. "Running away with you," he says, taking your hand in his his, and bringing it up to his lips.
"What? But that was just a random rant! And what about work? We can't just disappear like that," you exclaim, to which, he only replies by giving you a knowing look. "Let me guess, you already informed our offices?" "Yes, and no," he quips. When you look at him quizzically, he elaborates, "I submitted applications for leave, making up some random excuse. So we have a whole week to ourselves." "But, what about essentials and supplies? We don't have anything to eat," you try to reason. He counters, "Babe, I've been planning this for two days, and I already stocked up on all our favourite snacks, drinks, and movies. I even got us a tent for days we want to sleep out in the open. I've got it all set, so don't you worry. The only thing I need you to do is to promise me that for the next seven days, you won't check your phone. I've already downloaded tons of songs and created at least 20 different playlists. You won't be getting any work-related messages, since I've taken care of that as well, and for directions, we'll take the traditional way, and ask around."
"Directions? Where exactly are we going anyway?," is your next question. To your surprise, he simply shrugs, before telling you that he doesn't have any specific place in mind. "Let's just wander away, going wherever the road takes us," he says, rather poetically, to which, you can't help but laugh. You then let out a soft sigh, making him look at you. "Sounds like a plan to me. Chan and Y/N, running away together, with no destination in mind," you smile, before reaching over and kissing his cheek.
"Let's play some music, shall we?," you ask, before hitting shuffle on the first playlist that pops up on your phone. You both settle in a comfortable silence, and soon enough, you begin to get drowsy. Chan notices this, and tells you to rest your eyes for a bit. "Promise to wake me up in like, two hours, so that I can take over the wheel," you yawn. "Okay fine bub, now sleep." Chan continues driving, occasionally stealing glances at your sleeping form. "How did I get so lucky?," he wonders, just like he does every day.
Morning finds you to be the one behind the wheel, as Chan naps contently in the passenger seat. The brightness of the sun finally wakes him up, and he realizes that you've left the highway, and are now driving through what appears to be the countryside. "I wonder where we're headed," he says while yawning. "Well, a signboard I saw earlier told me that we are somewhere in Jeonju," you reply. Instead of words, Chan's reply comes as a grumbling from his stomach. "Hungry," you quip, making him nod his head vigorously. You hit the breaks, before preparing some instant ramen for breakfast.
You eventually continue on your trip, and after a few hours, you find yourself in the midst of traditional Korean buildings, which seem to be from the Joseon dynasty. "Is this perhaps a tourist location?," wonders Chan loudly, making you reply, "Only one way to find out." You both get out of the car and do some asking around. You find out that the place where you houses the residences of the noblemen of old, and has now been converted into a shooting-cum-tourist spot. "Tourists can get traditional hanboks from that store, to complete the experience," an old woman tells you.
You turn to look at Chan, your eyes shining. Twenty minutes later, you exit the store, dresses from head to toe in a light blue hanbok. Chan's eyes nearly pop out when he sees you, and when he tells you the same, you can't help but blush.
You continue to hang around the place little while longer, and have dinner at a small eatery nearby.
"I feel like I'm 20 again. Thank you Channie," you say, holding his hand across the table. "Anything for you love," he winks.
Evening eventually comes around, and you guys hit the road once again. Around dinner time, you notice that you are crossing by a wood and supplies shop, and an idea strikes your mind. "Let's buy some wood and grill our meat!," you say excitedly, making Chan coo at how adorable you are. "Great idea babe. Let me park."
You quickly exit the car and visit the shop to buy some wood, then get started on your mini bonfire. It proves to be more difficult than you had thought, given how inexperienced the both of you are. In the end, you manage to get the fire going enough for the meat to be grilled, and turn around to ask Chan to bring in the eatables, when you see his face. It's completely covered in soot from his failed attempts at lighting the flame, making you double over in laughter. "You look so funny," you say while gasping for air. "Wouldn't be so funny if I got this soot on your face now, will it?," he retorts, coming after you. You try to run, but it's obviously in vain, as Chan grabs hold of you in under a minute. You both laugh harder than you have in months, and when you finally calm down, you give your boyfriend a tight hug. He hugs you back, and whispers, "I love you." "I love you too, Channie," you say, "Now go and get the meat, I'm hungry." "Way to ruin the moment, Y/N," he grumbles as you push him away.
After dinner, you walk up to the shop owner to thank him, and ask his permission to camp nearby. "It rained a few days ago, so the ground is still wet, and will be uncomfortable. But you can rent a room here for the night if you'd like," he offers. "That'll be great sir, thank you for the help." Chan says, coming up behind you. The shop owner gives you the keys to a room, and before leaving, says something that leaves you both red at the ears. "No funny business here, please. I know you both are young, and controlling yourself is hard. But I'd rather you didn't 'play around' unnecessarily on my bed."
You get changed and climb into the bed, snuggling up to each other. "First day down, babe," you smile with your eyes closed. When Chan doesn't reply, you open them, only to find your man staring at you with love in his eyes. "This is pure healing for me, thank you for suggesting this trip, love," he says. You talk about anything and everything for a while, and then suddenly, you feel Chan's soft lips pressing against yours. He gives you a sweet kiss, and pulling away, says, "About what the old man said earlier.....," while smirking. You shove his chest, saying, "We shouldn't," making him pout. "Although, making out doesn't count as 'funny business,' does it?" And that's enough to make him press his lips back to yours, moving so as to hover over you.
You wrap your arms around his back, pulling you closer to him. He licks your lower lip, making you part your lips and allowing his tongue to enter. After a while, you break away, only to grab his T-shirt and take it off his body, before wrapping your hands around his bare back. Needless to say, the two of you didn't get much time to sleep that night.
You get started on your way again the next day, and around mid-day, you see a milestone telling you that you are entering Iksan. The small town seems a lifetime away from your hectic lives in Seoul, and you spend the day going from shop to shop, buying small trinkets and stuff that are reminiscent of the country life. The residents welcome you with open arms, and more than once, you find an old couple telling you how cute you look together.
"He's a keeper, that one. Don't let him go," a lady says to you, pointing at Chan, who can be seen playing with some kids. "I won't," you smile.
That night, you stay over at a family's house, who were nice enough to allow you to sleep on their futon. You have dinner with them, during which the kid's ask Chan, "Are you two married?," making him choke on his food. "I'm sorry for that, they are learning about families and marriage in school these days," says their mother. "It's all right," you smile, "But no, we aren't married." "But do you plan on getting married soon?," the kids persist.
You and Chan look at each other and smile, before saying in unison, "Yes. One day."
The next morning you take the wheel from Chan, and the both of you drive of in silence, as High School Musical plays on your dashboard screen. After a while, you say, "What is it, Channie? You've been staring at me," "It's just that, you seem way too quiet. You've been like that since last night, after dinner," he replies, "What's the matter? Are you okay?" "I'm fine, just been thinking." "About?" "About us," you begin, elaborating when you see him looking at you expectantly. "When those kids asked us if we were married, it got me thinking.....I love being with you, I love waking up next to you. We live together any way, and share all the burdens that come with it too. So I guess...getting married to you wouldn't be so bad after all," you say softly.
"Is this your way of proposing to me?," giggles your boyfriend. "What? No! I mean, I did say it would be nice to get married, but I don't have a ring right now. And I meant it when I said 'one day,' but it's not today," you hurriedly say. Chan bursts out laughing at this, "I know love, I'm not ready yet either. But yes, if I have to get married, I'd rather marry you than anyone else."
Around noon, you decide to set up camp in a forest clearing. It takes you a few hours to get the tent up and ready, as you keep getting delayed because you can't stop fooling around. Amid Chan getting himself wrapped with the tent instead of unwrapping it, and you assembling the rods the wrong way up, you spend some not-so-productive, but enjoyable quality time in each other's presence, something you didn't know you had been craving for.
Evening rolls by, and you have a light dinner with ramen, some roasted chicken, and beer, following which, you lay down on a picnic mat, with your head on Chan's arm. "The stars look so beautiful, don't they Channie?," you softly ask. "Not as beautiful as you," he says cheesily, making you hide your face into his side. "But yeah, you're right. I really wanted to go stargazing with you, but we never got the time," he sighs. "I'm so happy we came on this trip, love." You open your mouth to speak, but just then, you notice a star shooting across the sky. "Channie! Channie get up, it's a shooting star!," you squeal, before closing your eyes and praying. Once you open them, you notice Chan looking at you with a gaze full of love. "Didn't you wish for something?," you ask. "I did," he smiles. "But what about you? What did you wish for?"
"Come closer Mr. Bang, I'm not about to announce my wish to the whole world," you whisper slyly. He leans in closer to you, only to have you say, "You don't tell others what you wished for," before pressing a sweet kiss to his lips. He smiles into the kiss, before breaking away and hugging you tight.
The next day turns out to be the last before you have to turn back homeward, and so, Chan suggests you make the best of it. "From what I know about the country's geography, we should be close to a beach somewhere here," he says, making you look at him with your eyes shining. "Too bad we're not going to get help from the GPS, but I'm really enjoying the phone detox," you smirk. "Who needs GPS when we've got people? Look there, we're gonna enter a city soon, so let's ask our way around," he replies. An hour and a half later, you come across a milestone that tells you the beach is a mile away. Once there, you look for a deserted spread of sand, keen on not getting stuck in an unnecessary crowd. "We face enough of that in the city, I just want to be alone with you," you whisper, taking his hand in his.
When you finally succeed in finding such a place, Chan giggles, "Good thing I packed our swimming gear as well, right?" "You did well sweetie," you say, booping his nose softly. After getting changed, you spend the next few hours playing in the water. Suddenly, Chan pulls you flush into his chest, and whispers in your ear, "You look so hot wearing that, and with water dripping down your body, I'm really finding it hard to stay away." "Then don't," you say, biting your lip. One thing leads to another, and you're thankful for the changing shack nearby.
By the time the sun starts to set, Chan has pulled you out of the water, and is making you dance with him on the sand, after bringing your phones and portable speaker from the car. Waltzing to the music, you shyly say, "I love you Channie," making him blush and reply with an "I love you too, my cute baby."
After dinner you climb atop the roof of your car, talking about your younger days. "You remember when we got into a huge fight once, back in college? And I was about to break up with you, only to have you whisk me away on a road trip, just like you did this time," you say, laying your head on his shoulder. "It did get you to stick around with me though," he replies, laying his chin on your head. "And you remember how we first met? You spilled your latte all over my T-shirt, and then took me to the infirmary to check for any burns," he reminds you, making you throw your head back in laughter. "You kept whining for a year over how you missed out on being the 'campus heartthrob' because of that incident, when in reality, you still were the most popular freshman," you jab a finger at his chest, smiling.
"Okay, I've got a secret. I wasn't actually sad about the campus heartthrob thing, since I already knew everyone was head over heels for me," he grins, making you punch his arm. "Hey! Let me finish first. I knew everyone loved me, but I only had eyes for you. And whining was just a tactic to get you to feel sorry for me and go on a date with me." You fake gasp at this, exclaiming, "Treachery! And here I thought you were genuinely sulky about that. do you have any idea how guilty I felt that whole year?!" When he simply states at you, unamused, you add through a pout, "I'm planning on revoking your cuddle privileges."
All of a sudden, you realize that Chan is moving over to lay on top of you, trapping you between him and the roof. "You know you can't resist me, babe. So don't even try," he says. "You are right about that," you say, pulling him for a kiss.
You both end up remaining awake till dawn the next day, and decide to start on your journey home around mid-way, after having napped inside the car for a few hours. You get started on your way just after noon, with Chan behind the wheel, and you eating (and feeding him) from a packet of gummy bears in the passenger seat. You re-enter the city you had seen earlier the previous day, and decide to spend some time roaming around. It's a fairly big city, but still much quieter and more peaceful than Seoul. You pass on visiting the mall, reasoning that you do so too frequently back home.
Soon enough though, you come across a store that displays a signboard saying, "Free wine tasting session for couples." You both look at each other, and with a smirk, Chan says what is on your mind. "Can't pass up on sophisticated wine for free now, can we?" You giggle and say, "Nope, absolutely not." And so, in you go. The session proves to be equal parts fun and educational. From the Chardonnay to the Pinot Noir, you go through with the tasting of at least 20 different types of wines. While you actually stick to the literal meaning of the word "tasting," drinking no more than a sip per drink, Chan goes all out, and not too long after, he's totally drunk. "Hey there beautiful, mind telling me your name?," he tries to act smooth with you, making you facepalm as you say, "I still get surprised about how low your alcohol tolerance is for your size," you shake your head.
Once you leave the tasting, half dragging, half carrying a wasted Chan who continuously tries to flirt with you, you decide to take the wheel and hit the road to the outskirts of the city, and cover the remainder of the trip once you're fully sober. When you cross over the city's borders and re-enter the road in the wilderness, you hit the brakes. You let Chan sleep, knowing that waking him up will only give him a hangover. Getting out of the car, you get yourself something to eat from the boot, and once you're full, you snuggle up to him, throwing a blanket over the both of you.
You wake up around nine at night, and as you had predicted, you see Chan holding his head in agony. You nurse him for while, before putting him back to sleep, then continue down the road. You keep sneaking glances at his sleeping form, smiling to yourself when you notice how peaceful he seems, something he hasn't looked like in ages. "We really needed this. Thank you for always knowing what I need, and for always taking care of me. I love you," you thank him silently.
When he finally wakes the next morning, he sees you huddled up in the driver's seat, and he can feel his heart swell with love for you. He gets out of the car, then picks you up and softly places you on the backseat so that you can rest well. Looking at your expression, he can easily see how content and truly happy you are. You are his reason to keep going, and if this little getaway idea of his could help you find your reason to keep going (unbeknownst to him, he himself is your reason to endure too), his heart is at ease. Sure, your week off is going to end soon, but he's positive that you will have rejuvenated yourself and would have gathered enough beautiful memories to last you a while.
Sure, going back to Seoul would mean going back to the hustle and bustle of your lives, but hey, he knows that that you by his side, he'd be ready to run away from home again any day, because his home is with you. But even more than that, he knows that with you by his side, life will be just a tad bit easier. Because you will always be there to remind him of who he was back in college. You will keep the young, carefree boy who loved you to bits, alive in him. And he'll do the same for you. And with that thought, he drives off into the distance, back to where you started from, with a smile on his face.
Because at the end of the day, you both have each other, and that's all that matters.

OKAY time for a college au!!
You 3 know each other from before college
You and kazuha were seating next to each other during your first year of high school you became close enough to greet each other whenever you guys pass by each other
And you and Xiao were best friends from kindergarten to 2 grade but unfortunately you had to move suddenly you two tried to keep contact but the two of you made new friends and kinda lost contact with each other
So when you go to college you meet kazuha at the front desk when you're trying to get your schedule and yall are like "omg I'm so happy to see someone that I know here!" and when you guys check your schedules it turns out that the two of you have the same class during the first period
And you're like "we've got 30 minutes wanna go grab a cup of coffee and get lost together?" and kazu knows that you playfully flirt with your friends so he jokingly says "are you asking me out for a date? Because if you are then I accept!" and you guys talk on the way to class and the two of you barely make it on time
Class ends and you're sad to say goodbye to the only person you know on campus but then all of a sudden he hits you with a "by the way can I have your number?" so you two exchange numbers
Later you're going to your last class and it turns out that this class doesn't have many people you go sit in the back and someone comes up to you and is like "can I sit next to you? " you say yes obviously
But the thing is... there is something very familiar about this guy and you just can't put your finger on it so you kind of stare at him without realizing it
Of course he noticed how hard you've been staring at him and turns around and is like "what? Is there something on my face?" that's when it finally clicks
And you're just like "XIAO??! IS THAT REALLY YOU?!!" but the teacher comes in so you two can't really talk
But the moment class ends you tell him who you are and take a few minutes to catch up
Though I say catch up it was mostly you teasing him saying shit like "I can't believe the shy kid who used to tear up whenever his turn on the swing was taken would grow up to be this handsome!" (he's starting to think that maybe he should have sat somewhere else)
So you're like "hey how we go actually catch up I've got some coupons for this café I went to this morning with a friend"
He doesn't have a reason to say no so he just accepts the invitation
When you guys get there who do you meet? KAZUHA! This man actually works there!
When you see him you're like "kazuha why didn't you tell me that you work here?" but he pretends not to know you and is like "oh? Well who might this fine customer be?" you can tell he's joking by the way he's trying not to laugh so you decide to play along
Poor Xiao is starting to regret coming with you (but don't worry he got 2 plates of almond tofu as an apology)
-no primogems (I'll make another part later where you 3 become roommates)
YES I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS-
dhfaeiahe I realize now that I should've just posted this as is since I wasn't planning on adding to this but might as well add in some thoughts I've had about this lovely trio eh??? tbh I didn't add much I just slipped in a few little things hehe
Can you guess the roomates?? Also the bio professor is Albedo ehe
Anyway!!
Considering it's the first semester of college, you haven't yet decided on your major. Luckily, you have quite a few general education classes to take, so you register all in one night.
You'll have the time to figure it all out as time goes by, no?
The rest of summer is spent juggling moving into the campus' dorms, working, and keeping up with some friends from high school. While you've kept contact with a few friends, you definitely kicked yourself in the ass for forgetting to ask Kazuha for his number...how could you forget one of your best friends?
But, you suppose that he's far off in a whole other city with his wish to experience more. You can't help but wonder what he's up to.
Then, the first day of classes starts.
How did you not figure out where everything is first? Instead of moping, you trudge to the administrative building early to ask for directions and, even better, a map of the large campus.
Instead, you find a familiar head of cream-colored hair.
Immediately, you gasp and he turns around in confusion, only for a soft smile to spread over his features. It's only been a summer but it's a relief to see that you know another person. Comparing schedules, he points out that you both have Communications 1301 together.
For once, you're glad you have to take these mandatory courses...
But with an abundance of time (as Kazuha just so happens to know where the class is), he accepts your jokingly firtatious proposal to head to the cafe just across campus to grab a morning drink.
It's hardly been long since you've last spoken to him, but there's still so much to talk about! It turns out he opted to rent out a small studio apartment just a few blocks away from campus! Naturally, he invites you over sometime.
He's also admitted that he decided to major in English--something you're not surprised to hear. After all, Kazuha's a natural at the subject, exceeding the assignments and always so eloquent.
If you recall correctly, he used to tote around a little notebook full of little musings and poetry during high school. You wonder if he still does that.
You talk about how you've just moved into the dorms a week ago, how you're lucky to be rooming with two musically inclined (if not a bit rowdy) people. You're sure that he'd take a liking to them once everything is calmed down a bit. Kazuha just raises a brow in half-doubt.
Before you know it, it's been an hours and, to your horror, your first class starts in five minutes. Not to mention that it was back closer to the admin building and you were on the opposite side of campus.
But it's still fun, Kazuha laughing as you jolt up and tug him to stand, the two of you running to get to class on time. With heaving breaths and flushed faces, you make it just a few minutes late. Luckily, your professor didn't mind because it was the first day...
Following class, you have to make your way to Bio 1301, Kazuha having a major-specific English course to get to. Before you can speak, though, he offers his phone to you. It's newer than his old flip phone you'd tease him about all the time, the screen clean save for a few stray fingerprints.
After you put in your number, he beams and quickly sends you a call so you can have his too.
"Call me after you're done with classes, alright?"
You promise to and the two of you set off.
Biology proves to be uneventful, a full hour and a half of the (rather attractive) professor going over what to expect as well as passing out lab waiver forms. A necessary precaution, he said with a reserved sigh. You wonder what happened.
When the hour ends, you have some time before World History, followed by a Trigonometry course.
By the time you find your trig class, most of the seats are already taken, making that feeling of dread fill the pit of your stomach. Nothing is worse than being forced to take whatever seat is left. But, noticing a seat by the windows, it's not so bad.
You're in the back, though, settling your bag beneath your chair and picking out a pen and schedule book.
At some point, someone walks in and asks if the seat in front of you is taken. You don't bother to look up long as you fish out a notebook, letting him know it's free.
As class goes on, you realize that the guy in front of you most likely hasn't been paying attention. Considering that the professor has been rehashing stuff from Algebra...you're not surprised. But something about his dark hair catches your eye. Not to mention his striking gold eyes...hm.
It's not until you catch his profile as he stares out the window that it clicks.
"Xiao."
His eyes dart to look at you, a confused look washing over his face. You repeat his name.
"Yes?"
Part of him is just about ready to leave as recognition floods your expression, smile wide. How could you possibly---
"I can't believe the shy kid who used to tear up whenever his turn on the swing was taken would grow up to be this handsome!"
The tips of his ears turn red fast, something that you remember very well about him, and his gaze quickly flicks over to the professor still dragging on. When gold settles back on you, they're practically begging for you to lower your voice.
"It's been forever--I can't believe that you-"
"If you're going to talk, do it outside of class."
Ah. Oopsie.
Time seems to drag on while you buzz in your seat, excited to see your childhood friend after loosing contact. You've missed him over the years, always wondering what happened to him, how he's been. And finally, when class ends, he gets up and waits for you.
Naturally, you want to catch up, so you invite him to go to the cafe with you for a late lunch.
"You still like almond tofu right? It's all you used to eat when we were little." Laughing, you nudge his shoulder and the color returns to his cheeks as he mumbles a yes.
When you step into the cafe, a familiar voice greets you.
"If I knew a cute customer would be coming, I would've gone on break."
Kazuha leans on the counter, mirth in his eyes and you gasp. It makes sense now, why he's so well acquainted with the campus and why he'd already known what to order when you arrived for drinks-
"What can I get for you today?"
"Your number."
Xiao's face pales at the blatant flirting, wondering if he should've just declined the invitation to the cafe until the two of you burst into laughter. Though, it's hardly better.
"Sorry, sorry- This is Kazuha, one of my friends from high school. Kazuha, this is my childhood best friend Xiao."
With a day so filled with nice coincidences, you doubt that life can get any better than this.
Oh, how wrong you'd be.

The Night of the First Mistake
Sequel to
Synopsis: pre X-orcist, almost a year after Nightmare's death, Dream is still not on top of his grief and causes him to resort to desperate measures.
Tw mentions of death/dead loved ones.
X-orcist au belongs to me and @zu-is-here
Dreams, Demons and Desires is by me.
Enjoy
Almost a year had past since he'd last seen Nightmare. The skeleton couldn't say he had mourned him, but the news of his death had been unfortunate to say the least. Who could have seen someone like Nightmare dying in such a preventable way? Not him, that's for sure.
He was a friend... Or at least a friendly acquaintance, clearly he'd not been quite close enough to Night's inner circle to be invited to the funeral. He'd never even met Night's brother. Despite that, the news of his parting had deeply saddened him and every so often, he thought of him with a sigh.
A good customer and a good person.
This evening, Nightmare played at his thoughts again, probably drudged up by the anniversary of the accident approaching, he hadn’t meant to make note of the day, but he had. a few weeks would be the anniversary of the day he heard the news.
He thought back to a year ago, a few weeks before his death. The words he’d said about his brother and the increasing frustration about his sinful thoughts. Killer didn't judge him for such feelings, he was no stranger to sin.
Other then that, there was nothing at all strange about this night.
Tonight, just like any night, he was in his shop and the counter. It was a cold October and pretty soon he'd be closing up.
It was dark and chilly in his shop and had a strangely pungent smell, which hit the moment you walked in. A mix of crushed herbs and spices, old books and stale coffee.
An old set of scales sat on the counter top in front of him, as did a till, several glass jars and containers and a large collection of dirty coffee mugs.
Behind him there was a large book case full of many strange books. Ones with faded titles, ones with thick leather bindings, some with large strains spreading across the covers or pieces missing. If you asked him, he'd liked to have said that he'd read all of them... But there were a few he hadn't. He wasn't much of a reader outside of this collection.
As he nursed yet another cup of coffee from the café next door, he tapped his slender skeleton fingers on the counter top. He was bored.
With a glance at the clock, he decided today that he could close up early. It was his shop after all, he made the rules. A small collection of trinkets and charms hung around his neck and clinked together against his old coat, as he got to his feet.
Just as he prepared to take today's earnings from the till to count it, he heard the door and a jingle of the shop bell, indicating someone had entered.
He set an empty eye socket in their direction as they froze, looking nervous.
The person was new, but also something about them was strangely familiar. After scanning them for a moment, his face twisted into a sly smile upon realising who the new comer could be. He turned his face to them fully, staring his pitch eyes right through them. They tensed, which amused him slightly.
"well hello Little Light.... How may I help you"
Dream seemed taken back slightly by the pet name. It wasn't something he was used to. His hands fused with the fastening on his coat.
"uhh Hello.....I’m..... Uh.."
The shop keep chuckled again. Such nervous behaviour wasn't something he saw often from his customers. Looks like it was going to be an interesting night and to think, he was going to close up.
"nervous Lil light?"
Dream once again tensed and shuddered slightly.
"Please.... Don't call me that" he stammered slightly before taking a breath "My name is Dream"
The shop keepers grin got even wider and it made a chill run up Dream's spine. There was something extremely unnerving about this skeleton. Maybe it was the emptiness of his eyes or the strange carvings around them, but Dream was sure that it was more then that.
The atmosphere of the shop was very unsettling and kind of cramped in Dream’s opinion. There were many trinkets, stones, crystals and small animal bones stacked neatly on the shelves. It was this, along with bags of salt and bundles of sage and garlic, that reassured him he was in the right place for what he needed.
"Dream huh?.... Thought so" he said in a low tone "I'm so glad to finally meet you"
The nervous shifting of his hands continued, as Dream once again tensed even further. He was acting friendly, but it still felt ever so slightly...off.
"h-how do you know me?"
"I knew your brother and I'd recognise that pendant I sold him anywhere" he said, with his eyes looking at Dream's chest.
Dreams fingers quickly shot to the star charm hanging from his neck, and gripped it tight. Looks like this was the right place.
"Not to mention there's your golden eyes" he  continued, shifting his gaze straight into Dream's eye sockets. It was strange how Dream knew where he was looking, even without eye lights.
"he often talked about them......He was right when he said they were very beautiful if I do say so myself~"
Dreams face blushed slightly, but he felt a familiar twist in this chest at the mention of Nightmare and a sinking feeling when he was reminded how Night felt about him. His brother had often complimented his eyes.....
He'd just never really understood it was more then brotherly affection. At least until now.
"I.... Uh" Dream said before clearing his throat "You're Killer.... Aren't you?"
Flexing his fingers, Killer nodded. The grin didn't leave his face.
"looks like my reputation proceeds me"
Dream let go of his necklace and a breath he didn't know he'd been holding. "I thought it might be you.... Based off something he wrote in his diary".
Before Night's accident, Dream had never even considered reading his diary. That was just a basic code of conduct. However, after his death, it became something Dream had often thought about. The diary, and everything else Nightmare owned, now belonged to him. For that reason he'd taken the book out of Nightmare's room.
However, he'd just kept it on his bedside table for almost a year before he finally had the courage to read it.
It had mostly been a fond look over some old memories, some good and some bad. But there were also passages about his feelings for Dream, sometimes written confessions addressed him. Every word was full of truth, longing and pain. Dream had felt it all.
Those had been hard to read, but he'd not skipped a single page and read them each through several times.
Nearer the end of the book, Nightmare had started talking about his interest in the supernatural. Dream remembered his twin getting fascinated in that and spending long evenings talking with him about it over tea and biscuits.
One thing Dream hadn't known about, where his trips to the next town over, where he wrote about finding this shop and the shop keep. This had been where the interest started. It was this that had lead Dream to come here.
"right..." Killer said, downing what was left in his coffee mug and setting in on the counter top.
"well.... What can I help you with?"
Yeah.. Nightmare had written that Killer was always one to cut to the point. Dream knew that what he was going to ask sounded insane and he wasn't even fully sure if Killer was the right person to ask. But at this point he was desperate, he just needed to know. With his grip returning to his brothers pendent, he remembered who he was doing this for.
He took a deep breath.
"Can you bring people back from the dead?"
Killer didn't react visibly to that. But he drew out a long silence. After a little Dream was sure he saw his jaw clench. The silence was completely deafening, broken only by the sound of Killer's fingers tapping the counter top. Dream figured that he was probably struggling to think what to say. After what felt like a life time, he spoke.
"I specialise in charms and equipment for preventative measures to stop spirits inhabiting homes....I do not....." he paused
"I don't try and bring the dead to the living realms".
Dreams face fell. He really shouldn't have been so disappointed, it was a crazy ask. But with the way Killer spoke and what he sold in the shop, he'd felt so close to what he wanted. But maybe it really was just impossible.
He felt tears threatening to spill, he just couldn't take all this guilt anymore. All he wanted to do was tell his brother he was sorry. That night. That kiss. That dam horribly wonderful kiss...and that car.
"however...." Killer continued.
Dream felt hope flush through at those words and stood up slightly straighter. Killer turned his back to dream and started looking over the bookshelves behind the counter.
He didn't say a word, as Dream curiously watched him. He ran his thumb across the spines of several of the oldest and most dusty looking of them, eventually plucking out a large leather bound book with silver straps.
He walked back over, blowing dust off it as he did, and set it down on the counter with a light thud. The cover was extremely dusty and the leather was cracked and split in several places, yet the title still read fairly clearly and Dreams felt his heart skipped a beat.
The Practice of a Necromancer. Vol one of three. Summoning, Controlling and Banishing.
"I've not read this one fully, but it's been in my collection for years.... I suppose this would be the right place to look"
With that, he slowly opened the book and very carefully started to turn its pages. The paper was completely yellowed and clearly very fragile. There were no photographs, only hand done drawings of various items and also what looked like people, but with strange and uncanny faces. There were also other frightening images that Dream was trying not to look at.
Killer eventually stopped and ran his finger across a page.
"ah ha" he said "to summon a spirit into the living world"
He read over the text for a moment, as Dream watched impatiently. Killer knitted his non-existent eyebrows and narrowed his eyes.
"this stuff sounds overly complicated to me..... so I guess I'm not sure really"
But Dream didn't really seem to be playing much attention to Killer's words now. He was so desperately trying to read the text upside-down. Reading was something that Dream always struggled with anyway, so reading upside down would be near impossible. He reached forward to try and pull the book to him.
But he jumped back in surprise as Killer slapped his hand across the book, sending some dust into the air.
"now now now not so hasty Lil Light" he said returning back to a sweet tone, as he said the a pet name that made Dream's toes curl.
In his haste Dream had forgotten that this was a shop, not a library, so of course he wouldn't just hand it over.
The smaller skeleton knew that the book was probably pricey so it's not like Killer would just let him have it. It was clearly very old and Dream worried that he wouldn't have enough for it, but if he had to pay all the money he had to buy it. He would.
Reaching inside of his pocket, Dream pulled out a bundle of paper money and placed it on the counter and next to the book. Killer looked at it for a moment, before he took it and counted how much money was in the bundle. He ran his fingers across the notes, looking as if he was very tempted and contemplating his next move.
But then, much to Dream's disappointment, he put it back down on the counter.
"I don't want your money dream... That's not what I meant"
An unhappy wine left Dream's mouth, as Killer proceeded to hand his money back to him. Just as he was about to ask why, Killer cut him off.
"it's not for sale"
"but what if I just borro-
"or for rent or loan"
Dreams soul twisted. This felt so Incredibly unfair. He wasn't ever one to really get angry or feel hatred for people. But why had Killer gotten this book down if he didn't intend to sell it? Was he just trying to mess with him?
It was that moment that he wasn't sure he really liked Killer all that much.
He sighed.
"h-how come? Can I do anything to change your mind?"
Killer sadly shook his head.
"Dream....... I like to read the stuff for research purposes not for a practical use"
Dream opened his mouth to object, but killer silenced him.
"and I don't care what you say... but I don't think you're just interested in the topic"
Dream tried very hard not to show disappointment on his face, but of course Killer picked up on it. It upset him that his intentions were so easy to guess. Then again he'd opened with 'can you bring people back from the dead'.
He really should have asked in a different way. Feeling like an idiot, he tried to say that he wasn't intending to use the book in practice. But Killer once again shook his head.
He stood up slightly and gave Dream a sympathetic look, or a sympathetic as he could make it through his cold eyes.
"look....I know you miss him and that's ok I've lost people myself to" he said in a uncharacteristically gentle tone, which sounded fake.
Dream looked at his feet.
"but the dead need to be left dead. Trying to bring them back never ends well, Nightmare wouldn't want you to get hurt trying to help him"
Dreams eyes stayed fixed on the floor, not wanting to look at killer any longer. He didn't want him to see him cry. He didn't want to look like a baby. Just as he was going to try arguing again, behind him he heard the shop door open and the bell ring
He looked back at Killer seeing he'd straightened up.
"K-killer...." came a soft but slightly panicked voice.
Curiously, Dream looked over his shoulder at the source of the voice. It was another skeleton stood by the door.
In all his life, Dream had never seen someone look to tired. They seem to be slightly younger then Dreams age but it was hard to tell how much. Their appearance was clearly young, but the huge bags under their eyes aged their face several years. The most notable thing about them was that their eye lights where small, indicating that they were on edge.
They were wearing a oversized cream knitted sweater and had a maroon scarf decorated with a paw print pattern tide around their neck. They fiddled with it as their eyes a looked at Killer and then to Dream.
From where he was, Dream could also see them wearing several of the necklaces and charms that Killer a sold, as well as a few layers of bandages around their arms.
Killer hastily exited from behind the counter and approached them.
"Hey Cappuccino......." he said, trying again to sound soft.
Ccino wasted no time in burying his head to Killers chest and wrapping his arms around him.
In response, Killer stumbled slightly and looked momentarily taken back and very uncomfortable. After a moment he sigh, before gently placing an hand on his back.
"hey.....it's ok ya wimp... I'm guessing they're back right?"
Ccino simply nodded, Killer sighed.
"Dream can you show yourself out? I've got to take care of this, we're closing anyway. I'm sorry I couldn't help you better"
As Killer attempted to comfort the shaking skeleton, Dream turned his attention back to the book in front of him. It was just within his reach, the page was tantalising.
It was so clear, a set instructions of the exact thing he'd need to do to reach his goal.
Killer's warning played in his mind.
But he knew what he was doing right? It was his brother, what did Killer really know about what Nightmare would have wanted. He didn't know how.... Close... They were. At least he thought he knew.
It was a split second choice.
As Killer continued to try and comfort his companion, he saw Dream hastily exit the shop without saying another word. He stared at the door.
It didn't feel right.
He narrowed his eyes and stepped back from Ccino slightly.
"hang on"
He walked back to the counter and was relieved to see that the book was still there, however a moment later he noticed something else that make him freeze and curse under his breath.
"what's wrong?" Ccino asked, walking up next to him.
Killer didn't answer and instead picked up his book and looked at it closely to confirm what he saw. When he saw he was right, he near growled.
"Killer?" Ccino asked not seeing the problem.
"look....."Killer said quietly.
He ran his finger down the spine where the pages joined together. Once you looked closely you could see the remnants of torn paper sticking out.
"he took the page"

Ok like I know this is your third compliment but I'm so glad you're writing for this fandom. All your ideas are so creative and developed that none of it felt so OOC. If you can, what about angst HCs from Kaeya and Diluc. Since theyre so head to head against each other, imagine if they were in love with someone but was with their brother. Now they have to watch Kaeya/Diluc with their s/o while suffering from the sidelines ;w;
Ahh you’re all so lovely 💕 Don’t be shy to just say anything I promise I’m not scary. Your compliments makes me feel more confident ;u; I just finished diluc’s and kaeya’s hc of being jealous so I’m lowkey branching of my last hc point for both of those posts. Took a bit of a different style this time and I might have went a little too deep aha.
Spoiler’s for Diluc’s and Kaeya’s character stories and past (but you should really read Kaeya’s story)
---
Diluc and Kaeya: Falling for their brother’s s/o
Tumblr media
You had told him when it was late at night in the tavern. For the better half of a couple months, you’ve been dropping by around late afternoon asking if you could keep him company and help out since he’s been so busy during the day, and Diluc would never say no to that. It was a passing comment you made as you said goodbye to him as you opened the door to head out.
You wanted to keep your relationship a secret from the public? Felt it was wrong to not tell him since you were dating his brother? Had you not noticed that he was in love with you for months?
He smiles and bares it, nodding goodbye as you leave, just until that door closes and he’s left alone. He slowly unclenches his fists from under the counter as the weight in his chest gets heavier. He hasn’t felt like this in a long time. The last time was when his father passed away.
A part of him feels ashamed that he let himself get so close to you even though at the time, he had no idea you were actually in love with his brother. He hadn’t even seen you talk to Kaeya once since knowing you but to be fair, he doesn’t involve himself in Kaeya’s affairs unless it’s to protect Mondstadt.
But as he reflects in the empty tavern, he doesn’t regret meeting you and becoming close friends. It’s not your fault, you were in love with someone else. He should be happy for you and Kaeya.
He wants to protect the things that he treasures most. When his father passed away he lost the faith in both the gods and the knights of Favonius. He doesn’t want to push you away and lose what he still has because of his actions or behaviour.
In the beginning, he becomes bitter to Kaeya. Before he might have humored Kaeya’s antics and random drop ins but now all he feels is rejection and this weight he can’t get rid of that start’s clawing at him whenever he sees his brother. The first time Kaeya made eye contact with him after you had told him about your relationship, he simply had a wry smile stating that he hadn’t seen Diluc’s eyes like that since he defected from being a knight.
He doesn’t hate Kaeya or think Kaeya stole you away from him. Kaeya protects Mondstadt in the day while he does in the night. That’s how they’ve always been. When he sees you out with Kaeya in the morning he stares longingly before quickly disappearing out of sight.
When his father passed away, Diluc's took a journey that lasted for three years. He had a lot of time to reflect on his past and the anger he had carried until he acknowledged his shortcomings. Those years away let him leave his childish immaturity and when he returned to Mondstadt, he was ready to take on his father’s will one more time. He’s been through this process once before and he’ll push himself to do it again.
That doesn’t mean that his feelings for you will immediately leave him but he’ll learn to move on and treasure you as a friend, that you’re still in his life. There might be some days when he’s alone that he might think of the what if’s but he’ll take a deep breath, know that you’re happy, and the weight will settle down and become lighter.
Tumblr media
You were friends with Kaeya before you officially met Diluc. You and Kaeya had bonded over drinks and soon became drinking buddies. At first you had been a bit wary of him since he was the Cavalry Captain and thought you had done something wrong, but he really was just interested in talking since he heard you also disliked grape juice.
Naturally, that meant that he would drop by the tavern with you and one day, Diluc happened to be there and he thought he might officially introduce you two. Maybe poke some fun at Diluc and his distant personality.
Overtime Kaeya finds that he looks forward to your outings. Hunters and bandits are often his drinking buddies but he’s there to smooth talk them until they end up telling him everything he wants to know. But you’re not a bandit or some spy, he can let his guard down around you and just have a normal conversation without ulterior motives. It feels...nice and he let’s himself slowly relax until he ends up tripping along the way and finds himself falling.
That is until he makes an unprompted visit to see Diluc only to find that you’re there too. He takes one look at the scene and turns around. He remembers when they were younger and how people would say they were almost like twins, knowing each other’s thoughts and intentions without having to say a word to each other.
He think’s its some cruel joke you’re playing or maybe the Gods are cursing him over his methods. As he walks down the streets of Mondstadt, he wants to rationalize that the only reason you were so kind to him was to get closer to Diluc. Or maybe you actually were a spy? He’ll laugh to himself for thinking of such a thing as he replays the same scene in his head over and over.
Everyone's got a secret, but not everyone knows what to do with it, he had told you this with his usual arrogant smirk one night. You were confused at his implication before he shift’s his gaze to where Diluc is. Diluc quickly turns away when you turn your head in his direction. He watches amused as you sputter about how you do not need his help with setting you up with his brother.
On the contrary, he actually enjoys putting people into the difficult position of making tough decisions. He won’t lie and say that he hasn’t given you false information just to see you come back embarrassed. In a way, these moments are a way for him to slowly let go of his feelings by helping you get yours across.
Diluc is direct so he’s not surprised when his brother cut’s right to the point early in the morning and asking what he’s trying to do. As Diluc’s hard stare attempts to drill into him for answer’s he thinks back on that same scene. Diluc had looked calm and in a state of content. Peaceful happiness. It’s the same feeling he has when he’s with you.
He thinks back to another scene. It was the first and only time Kaeya failed in his duty. By the time Kaeya finally reached Diluc, it was all already over. Their father was dead and killed by his own son.
Kaeya’s own biological father had abandoned him and it was Diluc’s father and Mondstadt that had welcomed him with open arms when he had nowhere else to go.
Kaeya just smiles at Diluc and remarks in his typical cryptic manner that there will be a time where he won’t know where to stand. He doesn’t know when that time will come but he’ll think of you and where he would want you to be. So until that day comes, he’ll do everything he can to guarantee your safety. He can tell Diluc wants to say something but he holds back.
To be the first yet placed second, he thinks when you come running up to him to thank him for all his help. He can see Diluc off to the side silently watching and ready to step in and he thinks of the possibilities of what he could do in that moment. Maybe he could confess that he’s been secretly in love with you before you even met Diluc?
Instead he holds back and repays the favour from earlier in the day. He congratulates you and invites you out to drink in celebration of your new relationship.

Boston | Joel Farabee
Tumblr media
"I just wish that I could fall asleep to your heartbeat."
The last text you received from Joel.
Joel always made your mind spin. He knew all the ways to make you pull all-nighters in college talking to him while you wrote a paper and begged for sleep. You would have done anything for him.
Joel wasn't ever one to quit either. He was a 'no excuses' kind of guy. All or nothing... On the ice. In his personal life, through talking with his family, he was very fickle with his tastes; and his family supported that. He knew what he wanted, so why not experience bits and pieces of everything else. You didn't know that one day that would include you too.
It all started your freshman year of college, you were moving things into your dorm and accidentally bumped him with a box full of socks and frillies. Thank god it didn't play out like a movie scene where the contents of the box would go flying.
Accidentally bumping into Joel turned into study dates, coffee on the quad, and attending his games. These led to spending the holidays with his family, wearing his hoodie almost every day, and spending days off in his twin sized bed.
"Babe," Joel gently pleaded. "Don't leave marks on my neck, please."
He would always let you nonetheless.
You would never forget the day you first saw him in glasses. He wasn't feeling well, probably a bug going around campus, so you brought him some chicken noodle soup. He answered his door cocooned in the blanket you got him for Christmas with his glasses on and you couldn't help but smile from ear to ear. Upon questioning he found out you most definitely had a thing for them, and he wore them more often than not around you from that day forward.
Every late night you spent in Joel's car began and ended the exact same. You would ride around town and go to Rita's; you'd almost always end up feeding him while he drove, because he never wanted to sit in the parking lot to eat. You two would go to your spot and watch the stars, rounding the nights with whatever type of sex was needed for the current situation at the time.
Helping Joel on laundry day was his favorite. He loved watching you fold your clothes, even the ones you would inevitably hang up when you got back to your room. He liked grabbing his hoodies and shirts out of the dryer since you were always stealing them. He would put them in his basket and exchange them for others in his room.
Your favorite piece of clothing was his Blue Jays hoodie; you weren't sure why. Maybe it's because he was wearing it when you bumped into him all that time ago. Maybe it's because he would always leave it in your dorm room, but wear it when he was with you. The soft blue and grey fabric just had such a strong hold on you. You could wear his Terriers hoodie, his Phillies hoodie, the plain hoodie he bought at Target when you two got caught in the rain during a picnic... Any of his hoodies, but you always chose the Blue Jays one.
That was the past though...
You sat on the kitchen counter of your apartment, in your Terriers hoodie that Joel bought you right before you graduated, waiting for the oven timer to go off. You were in the process of making a cake for your friends birthday.
You couldn't help but scroll through your old messages with Joel.
"I've been waiting for your call."
"I'm getting really good at feeling bad."
"All this talk of keeping in touch and you won't even reply to me."
"Remember when we would go to Rita's and you always wanted to try every flavor at once?"
"I wish I could fall asleep to your heartbeat."
You could never bring yourself to reply to Joel after everything that had happened during your last year of college.
You took another sip of your wine and got the cake out of the oven. You decided to text Joel back while the cake was cooling.
"Joel... You made it so easy for me to fall in love with you... You made it easy for all the good memories to turn to shit. You just up and left one day... You got to start over and think nothing of it. I know what happened with that girl on my dorm room floor. I've kept this pent up for so long, but I need to get everything off of my chest. You say you want to stay friends, but honestly... It's not worth it to look at your face and only see the look you gave me after you fucked someone else. I've left a lot of people behind and I'm ready to leave one more. I wish you stayed in Boston."
Everything you typed was the truth. You two knew every little last detail. He was 100% honest when he wanted to make things work, but you just couldn't see him the same.
You deleted everything you typed and started with a blank canvas.
"I already forgot we ever met."
That was all you could send back to him. The second you hit send on the text there was a knock on your door and a package left behind. You looked at it and brought it inside. You didn't recognize the address, but you opened it anyway, figuring it was something from Amazon.
And there it was - Joel's Blue Jays hoodie with a small note on the top.
"If you're not up to it, I'll let it die. Stay in Boston."

The Wedding | Uraume
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SYNOPSIS: Modern AU -You're a waiter at a wedding and he won't stop following you around.
PAIRING: gender neutral!reader x male!Uraume
WORDS: 1212
WRITTEN: 03/13/2021
Tumblr media
You were working many jobs to pay off your student loans. You didn't mind doing odd jobs that only came once in a while, like being a waiter for a wedding.
You used to be a waiter at a restaurant before, so it wasn't too different or difficult, even with the change in scenery.
There weren't many qualifications aside from having experience, even though you weren't part of a specific company.
The wedding was packed, of course. There was a crowd of people dancing on the dance floor, people mingling by the food table, people drinking by the bar, and more.
It was only a tad bit difficult to weave your way through people and not spill any drinks of food on them.
But then it got more difficult when a drunk guest started following you around.
He wasn't the bad type of drunk, so no harm was done. He was making it hard for you to focus though.
This wedding had personal chefs that would cater to what the guests wanted to eat from a menu, so you had to remember which table wanted what meal.
The drunk guest, however, was only babbling into your ear as he followed after you like a puppy.
"You're so pretty."
"Thank you, sir."
You spared him a glance as you approached and table and gave them their meal, bowing to them.
"Ah—Uraume, it's good to see you," one of the guests said.
The drunk guest who was following you scrunched up his nose and bowed, staggering only slightly before turning around to walk after you.
"You. Wha's—Wha's your name?" Uraume asked.
You grabbed empty glasses and plates along the way to the kitchen, placing them on your tray.
"Y/N, sir."
"Bah—Don't call me that. 'm not old."
"Well, you're a guest, so I have to treat you with respect," you retorted.
He pouted as he trailed after you. His robes rustled among the crowd of people.
"Uraume. Tha's my name."
You hummed in acknowledgment, even though you weren't going to call him by his first name when you were working.
Through the small glances—you did your best to not look at him or you'd risk the chance of bumping into someone—you noticed he was beautiful.
He was attractive, but not the usual handsomeness you'd see in men. You assumed he was a man based on his voice, but you could have been mistaken.
If you were drunk, you were sure you'd have mistaken him as a woman.
For a drunk person, he sure was neat. His hair wasn't disheveled and he didn't stagger that much—you thought it was cute when he did.
He wasn't that much taller than you either, so him trailing after you reminded you of kittens bumping into things.
"How'd you get so pretty?" he mumbled.
You sent him an amused smile. "I don't know, sir."
You continued to work for a few more hours until your shift ended. The after-party for the wedding was not close to finishing, but someone else took over for you because you had been working since the morning shift.
"You can't leave," Uraume mumbled with a pout on his face as he tugged on your uniform.
You sent him an apologetic smile. He had done nothing wrong to you and his company was nice.
"I'm sorry, Uraume. My shift's over."
He hiccuped. He was conflicted because you said his name for the first time and that made him happy. On the other hand, he was a bit upset because he didn't want you to leave.
You grabbed his hand and smiled, gently tugging him off your uniform as you walked into the locker room to change.
He pouted and trudged away to a couch to sit on. He was like that for the rest of the wedding, especially after you left. He only went home when his assistant came to fetch him.
You weren't sure why he followed you around for the entirety of the wedding. You were sure there were more attractive people than you, but he seemed to like you a lot.
Tumblr media
As soon as you got back to your apartment from the wedding, you ended up crashing on your bed and falling asleep. The next morning, you woke up refreshed.
You got ready for your shift at a café as a barista. It wasn't too far from your apartment, so you walked to save money.
As soon as you arrived, you walked behind the counter and got to work. The café wasn't as packed as usual, but you liked that since you got paid by the hour.
You were looking down at your nails, playing with them at the cash register while waiting for customers to show up.
"Excuse me."
"Yes?" you asked, looking up with a smile.
As soon as you saw the person in front of you, your face morphed into surprise. He stood out with his traditional robes, so you assumed he was from a traditional family.
Uraume was standing in front of you with the same surprised expression you had, except he looked a bit more terrified.
He simply came into the café because he wanted coffee to help wake him up and get rid of the hangover he had.
He never thought he'd run into you. He was hoping to not ever see you again after he made a fool out of himself. You piqued his interest, but he was too embarrassed to ever confront you.
"I remember you," you said with a small smile. "What can I get for you?"
"I—uh—a venti blonde espresso," he murmured.
You nodded and uncapped a sharpie, then grabbed a venti cup. "Uraume, right?"
He nodded bashfully.
You wrote his name on the cup, sliding it down the counter for your coworker to make while you rang up his order.
"Hangover?" you questioned.
"What? Yes."
"I'm not surprised. I'm sure you had a rough morning. I hope you feel better once you get your espresso."
"Thank you. I'm sorry for my behavior last night. I was immature," he said.
"Oh, that's fine. It was kind of cute. I really do hope you're feeling better," you said as you glanced over to your coworker who was putting the lid on.
"Your order should be ready now," you said with a smile. "Have a good day!"
"Actually, could I... Could I get your phone number? I'd like to repay you for that embarrassing situation yesterday," he said while trying his best to hide his blush.
You smiled, trying to fight back laughter as you noticed the blush on his face. "I'd like that. Hold on."
You walked to his finished drink and wrote your phone number on the cup with a sharpie, then walked back to hand it to him.
"Thank you," he said.
"Mhm. Enjoy!"
You sent him off with a bright smile. He shuffled out of the café with his drink in his hand where his assistant was waiting for him.
"Sir?" they questioned once they saw his red face.
"It's nothing. I just met an odd woman."
"The one you kept following yesterday?"
Uraume glared at his assistant. "Don't mention that to the chairman."
"Of course, sir. Shall we head to Ryomen enterprise?"
"Let's hurry before he gets angry."

Strawberry Lemonade
EXPLICIT SMUT 18+
Even if you could decide, why would you want to? Both men were perfect in extremely different ways yet, your longing for both of them was beginning to feel greedy.
Pairing: Reader x Tae x Jungkook
Words: 3850
Warnings: 18+ threesome, MF vaginal sex, MF anal sex, MF oral sex, unprotected sex, swearing.
Tumblr media
You weren't technically staff, it was a loophole that benefited everyone. While the crew stayed in coach, you were up front with Jungkook as he helped stash your camera equipment into the first class overhead. In 7 hours you'd be in Bali for a week in paradise.
"Y/N's sitting with me, she already promised." Taehyung pulled your hand towards the middle aisle.
Pouting, Jungkook popped his air pods in and took his seat.
It was a competition, pure and simple. Like a new shiny toy Jungkook and Taehyung both wanted you. Everyone knew and the game of one upmanship was getting a little out of control. But somehow, caught in the middle wasn't such a bad place to be.
Tumblr media
Dim and quiet most of the plane was already asleep. Taehyung snored softly as you wiggled out from underneath his heavy grasp. You didn't want to disturb him but the days makeup needed to come off before you settled in for the night.
Taken by surprise, Jungkook stood with a smile waiting outside when you opened the bathroom door.
"I think we need to talk about something." He guided you back into the tiny room.
"What's that Kookie?"
His lips parted before he quickly pressed them onto yours. His hands were still holding your face as he broke away.
"I see the way you look at me and I think you want me just as much as I want you."
You loved being playful with Jungkook, teasing him was definitely a turn on.
"I'm keeping my options open." You wanted to sound taunting, but your hand slowly dragging down his chest let him know he was going to get whatever he was after.
His mouth moved over your neck as his fingers worked their way under your light t-shirt. His thumbs caressing the soft flesh just above the elastic of your waistband sent a gush of excitement to your panties.
"I want you so badly."
Pulling your pants to the floor he lifted you onto the small counter.
His finger slid into you easily.
"Does Taehyung get you this wet?"
"He's never tried. Should I let him?"
"I'm not afraid of a little competition Y/N."
His track pants came down with a quick tug and his hard cock sprang out. Stepping back towards you for a heated kiss his erection pressed against your sopping center. His length was more than you'd expected and you couldn't stand the anticipation any longer.
"Do you know how hard it's been to work with you for weeks and not get to touch you?"
Grasping his cock he held it straight to line himself up with your entrance.
"Uh huh," he nodded. "I've had to keep requesting baggy clothes to hide my chronic hard on."
He pushed himself into you letting out a long slow moan as his head fell back. Leaning into the mirror you pulled him in closer wrapping your legs around his hips.
Knees bent, he adjusted his height to pump himself into you. It wasn't sweet or slow, it was a mile high, hard quickie that had been a long time in the making.
Helping you down he wrapped you in his arms and kissed you while smiling. "I promise when we have more room i'm going to lay you out across a bed and make you cum so hard that mines the only name you're going to remember"
"That's pretty cocky considering you just spent the last 5 minutes only satisfying yourself." You straightened your clothes, "But I guess I could give you another shot."
You left him where he stood, red faced and pants down in the washroom.
Tumblr media
Taehyung stirred as you layed out your blankets.
"Bedtime?"
"Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."
He hummed in pout, "Come back and cuddle with me."
He held up his blanket in invitation and you slid in beside him.
Settling in he was now wide awake and staring endearingly. "I really like you." He smiled brightly at his own admission.
You pushed his shaggy hair off his forehead. "I really like you too Tae."
Somewhere at 35,000 feet in dead of the night you found yourself tangled in lips and limbs with the soft boy.
Where Jungkook had left you wanting more Tae picked up the slack with long lingering kisses and slow moving hands.
His nimble fingers played at your entrance before he plunged one inside, "You're so wet"
Pulling it back out he raised it to his mouth and unknowingly sucked off the mixture of your excitement and Jungkook's cum.
"Taehyung, I want you."
"Yeah?" he ran his finger over your lip before he kissed you again, "flip over for me."
To anyone walking by it would look like you were spooning, slow movements and subdued noises would be the only tell. One hand expertly stroked your clit as the other held steady trapping the moans inside your mouth.
Jungkook sat the next row over listening intently to Taehyung's heavy breaths and the uncontainable whimpers of climax he'd drawn out of you. Mad at himself for his purely selfish attempt with you, he stuck his airpods in and drifted off.

With the group shots finished you'd called a break for everyone but Jungkook.
"You're up first for individuals handsome."
He smiled as the others turned to leave. "Where are we shooting?"
Slinging the camera bag over your shoulder you started to walk away. "Your room."
Once the door was pulled closed he swept you into his arms. "Is this my second chance?"
"We've got a job to do Jungkook, maybe if I get a good shot and we have some time I'll consider it."
He threw his hands up in defeat, "Let's get this picture out of the way then."
"Good, go get in your pool."
Taking your dress off you hoped the added incentive of your bikini would motivate him. Playful and sexy it was the quickest shoot you'd ever done.
"I think I got what I need." You pulled yourself out of the pool and set the camera on the concrete.
"I don't think you did. Not from me anyways."
Legs dangling in the water you kicked some towards him.
"Whose fault is that?"
He pulled his wet shirt over his head and tossed it on the deck.
"Mine, and I'm sorry. I just wanted you so badly."
His hands found their way to your hips and he tugged on your bottoms.
"A little help here?"
You couldn't help but laugh, wrapping your arms around his neck you lifted yourself up so he could slide them off you.
"Let me make it up to you?"
He kissed you, softer this time, more intently.
"How much time do I have?"
"About 20 minutes…"
He raised his brow accepting the challenge. "Then you should lay back."
Sinking to his shoulders in the water his face took residence between your thighs. "So beautiful," he said before sliding his tongue inside you.
It felt like heaven, you couldn't help but tug at his hair as his mouth strategically worked to get you off.
"Are you done yet?" The unfazed voice came from the doorway.
Jungkook's hands held your thighs firmly open when he felt you trying to instinctively clamp them shut.
His eyes flicked up at Taehyung.
"Almost, do you want to stick around and see what it looks like when she cums?"
What was even happening right now? reaching for your dress you wiggled from Jungkook's hands and covered yourself.
Jungkook's tongue now finding itself restless and aggravated poked angrily into his cheek.
He scoffed, "Thanks, I've already seen it. It doesn't look like you're going to get her there anyway."
Taehyung turned, ignoring him completely unfazed. "I wanted to see if I could take you to dinner after you're done working."
Jungkook was visibly angry, "Maybe you should stop monopolizing her and let her spend some time with me without interrupting"
"You two are acting like children, let me know when you're done." Getting up and grabbing your things you left.

Laying out in the sun as they swam nearby, they had unknowingly made a decision for you.
The waitress walked towards you with three frosty glasses on her tray. One was Red, one was Yellow and one was Pink.
“The gentlemen argued about which you’d like more, Strawberry or Lemonade.” She smiled, “they ended up compromising and ordering you a half and half.”
The condensation pooled onto the table as she set them down. Looking in their direction she raised her eyebrow at you knowingly, “Why choose one when you can have both, am I right?”
You'd always thought it had to be one or the other.
Taehyung was Strawberry 🍓
Classic, comforting, consistent. The sweetness of red stained lips and warm hugs that felt like home. Fresh air that made you sleepy while laundry hung on the line. Your Grandmother’s kitchen filled with memories and knowing you were safe.
Jungkook was Lemonade 🍋
Even if you knew what to expect, it always stunned you. A surprise tang that made everything feel like you were a kid on a summer day again. Bright yellow sunshine that permeated your eyelids making your body feel electric, alive and invincible.
But she was right why not have both?
The sunshine felt good on your skin. The decision had lightened your mind and as the waves broke on the shore you were lulled into an unguarded slumber.
If the whispers and stifled giggles hadn't given them away their shadows blocking out the sunshine through your eyelids would have.
"I don't know what you two think you're going to do, but you probably shouldn't."
Raising your hand to shield your face you carefully cracked your eyelids open.
Jungkook stood by your feet, water droplets glistening over his body.
"We wanted to apologise for yesterday." Placing his hand on the back of his neck his usual confidence wavered.
Taehyung laid down and pulled you into a wet bear hug. "We've decided to be mature about this, whoever you decide to pick we'll have no hard feelings."
"What if I don't want to pick, what if I want both of you?"
By the looks on their faces they clearly weren't expecting that as your answer.
"I don't need you to make a decision right away. I'm going to my room so you two can think about it."
Grabbing your drink you smiled and walked away.
Leaving the door unlocked you knew it wouldn't take long for their erections to override their brains. There was a light rapping on the door before the handle turned.
"We came to an agreement and we think that we would probably be okay sharing you."
Taehyung spoke while Jungkook stood blushing.
"But we want to know, how will it work?"
Jungkook cut in, "I think we need rules so we both get equal attention."
Walking closer to Jungkook you knew he'd been feeling neglected.
"Listen, sometimes one of us will need something and sometimes ALL of us will need something…"
You kissed his lips. "Right now I need something from both of you."
You pulled Tae in closer.
"You interrupted the other day and Jungkook never got me off. So the ground rules will come after I do."
Both their jaws were slack and they stood staring not knowing where to even begin.
"Are we good with this arrangement?" To help seal the deal you had a hand on each of them rubbing their growing bulges as they nodded.
"Can I make you cum first? I feel so bad about the other day."
Taehyung snickered.
"I don't know why that's so funny Tae, it's your fault for interrupting. It certainly wasn't from his lack of skill."
You moved your hand away from him and lifted Jungkook's shirt off.
"So, since I didn't get to cum because of you, you don't get to cum until Jungkook has taken care of me."
Used to be in charge, he didn't know what to do or where to be.
"Take your clothes off and sit in that chair, you're going to have to watch."
Jungkook undid the top of your bikini while you let the bottoms fall to your feet. Pulling down his shorts you walked him to the bed. "I need you to finish what you started."
Once again he spread your legs, however, this time it was a performance with an audience and he had a point to prove.
Making sure his Hyung could see everything he began to lay big soft tongue kisses over your excited entrance.
"Fuck Jungkook, I haven't been able to stop thinking about your mouth."
He was skilled. Between his tongue, his lips and his fingers your thighs shook uncontrollably. You looked towards Taehyung, he was watching intently with dark hungry eyes while stroking himself. His lips were parted and heavy breaths escaped everytime his hand moved over his tip.
"I think Taehyung wants a turn Kookie."
Jungkook didn't miss a beat. "He can lick my cum out of you when I'm finished."
"Jungkook, if you can't share you're going to have to leave."
He huffed, so used to getting his way. "You've only got one cunt."
"I do, and if you both want to stay you're both going to lick it."
Jungkook pulled away and flopped on the bed. "Fine, let me know when it's my turn again."
Dipping your finger inside yourself then running it around your lips you teased him, "Tae, do you want some?"
Taehyung grinned, his huge cock stood stiff and straight as he walked over to lay between your legs.
Dragging his finger through your wetness he slowly sank it inside you. Like he was starved he attached his mouth to you, his tongue dancing over your clit, slowly, softly, deliberately. Taehyung did nothing without purpose and his purpose was very clear.
"Holy shit."
Your hands reached to grip the sheets but Jungkook's thigh was closer.
He was staring, watching your face wrecked with pleasure.
"Please Kookie, I want you both so badly."
Shifting down the bed he filled the remaining space between your legs.
Taehyung coaxed him, "Not everything has to be a competition between us."
His fingers delicately opened you wide, "think of it more like choreo, working together."
Wrapping his lips around your aroused bud he sucked softly.
"Let's make this about her."
Their tongues worked in tandem just adjacent to your pleasure point. Their timidness could easily be mistaken for teasing if you didn't know how nervous they both were to be together in such intamacy.
"Please I need this," you couldn't help but beg desperately.
Without looking at each other their tongues explored further meeting tentatively in the middle to combine their efforts. Inhibitions forgotten, the grander pursuit of ecstasy took over reason and apprehension.
Their mixed saliva dripped down to where Taehyung's finger was circling around you seeking permission to enter.
"Your ass is so tight, I'm calling dibs."
Sliding back up beside you he looked like a man possessed. Dark eyes stared into your soul as his fingertips rolled your nipples.
He ran his nose up your neck and practically hissed, "Can I fuck it?"
"uh huh." was all you could muster.
Standing up he grabbed something from his shorts on the floor and moved back towards the chair. "Why don't you come sit on my lap?"
You tugged Jungkook's hair trying to get his attention, "Change in position baby."
He sloppily kissed up your stomach, over your breasts and his lips lingered along your jawline. His hard cock was pressed against your leg as he wiggled his hips in search of relief.
His warm breath tickled your neck as he sighed, "I'm not going to stop until I make up for the quickie."
His fingers slid inside you while his mouth latched onto your peaked nipple. Suckling as he pumped between your legs he whispered. "I'm want to make you cum so hard."
The lurid sound of your wetness filled the air as your body squirmed in stimulation. "I'm gonna cum, don't stop, please …"
His hand moved faster, your orgasm exploding, breaching its bodily confines as you cried out his name in satisfaction.
Taking a minute to let you come down he got up, pulling you with him.
Taehyung sat waiting with a smile, condom already stretched over his impressive cock. About to straddle him Jungkook turned you around.
"You're gonna face me okay."
"Okay"
He steadied you as you backed toward Tae. Placing your feet to squat on either side of his hips you lowered yourself towards his waiting shaft.
"Have you done this before?" Taehyung's honey voice dripped into your ear.
You nodded blushing.
"Of course you have my dirty girl."
He pushed up and you pushed down, his tip sliding through the tight ring.
Your mouth open, and head back it was a painful adjustment. Jungkook stood staring at your breasts, your arched back making them sit pert on your chest.
Walking closer, his cock stood pink, weepy and desperate for release while he stroked it.
Adjusting your grip on the arm rest Taehyung began thrusting into the new more relaxed angel, deep moans rolling out of him like thunder.
"Now you Jungkook." You pleaded, "I want you both at the same time."
Jungkook's face was flush, overwhelmed with the scenario unfolding before him.
"Just focus on me Jungkook, on how much my pussy is aching for you to fill it."
His breath shook as he balanced his knees on the small remaining chair space. His tip, lingering at your entrance teased the wet folds driving your anticipation crazy.
Waiting for his turn to jump in, he was trying to match Taehyung's rhythm like a sordid game of double dutch.
In and out and in and out and oh god when he was finally in.
Their dropped inhibitions along with the feeling of them thrusting into you in unison was almost too much to bear. Rubbing against your thin wall that lay between them, they must be able to feel it? Head to head their cocks pressing together in your sexual vice.
The thought of their intimacy combined with their collective moans under you and over you made your skin shiver in ecstasy.
"Is this what you wanted? Both of us stuffed inside you?"
Taehyung was eager with his words. Expletives and praise fell off his tongue in equal measure.
"Once Jungkook makes that pretty pussy cum again I want you to finish both of us in your mouth."
Jungkook was biting his lip, still fucking you with a determined concentration. As sweat built over his warm skin Taehyung lay back and wrapped his arms around your thighs. Pulling your knees back he spread you wider for his friend.
"Lean in and fuck her deeper."
Ever the Maknae, Jungkook listened to his Hyung and ground himself into you slowly until he bottomed out inside your wet wonderland.  Your body shook with pleasure as your cunt pulsated, your second orgasam so close.
Letting go of your leg Taehyung put his thumb to Jungkook's mouth.
"Open," he commanded.
Jungkook licked and sucked the digit until it was pulled hastily from his greedy mouth. Letting his hand wander to the space between you Taehyung rubbed the wet appendage roughly over your clit.
It only took seconds, the sound of your own pleasured cries ringing through your head as the white lightning orgasm tore through and took over your body.
Both men lay still enveloping you, Jungkook's face scrunching in concentration as he tried to discourage his own imminent release.
Tae's soft smiling lips kissed the back of your glistening neck as Jungkook carded his hand gently through your hair brushing it back off your face. Hovering over your mouth his lips skimmed over yours, "Do you think you can finish us baby?"
You didn't have much energy but you nodded knowing that whatever was left you'd use it all to please them however they wanted.
Jungkook stood and taking your hand helped lift you to the floor. Quickly throwing his condom aside Taehyung joined, wrapping his arms around you. Both men were attentive and grateful yet still acutely unsatisfied. Their lips and hands travelled over you appreciatively while their cocks stood begging for attention.
Sinking to your knees their half moans half exhales spurred your enthusiasm to please them.
Taking Jungkook in your mouth you could taste yourself all over him. Your sticky excitement was built up around his balls and you licked it off as he watched intently.
Your hand slid up and down Tae's shaft easily with the lube left behind from the condom. They were equally thick and perfect, you couldn't help but smile up at them pleased with your choice to take them both.
"Fuck you're beautiful with a cock in your mouth." Tae purred while pumping himself into your grip.
"Want to see what yours looks like?"
He didn't have to answer, you gripped onto Jungkook and let your mouth take Tae.
Alternating between them, rubbing and sucking back and forth they took turns having their way with your face. The breathing got heavier and they were getting greedy with your mouth. Gripping them both, your hands grasped tightly and pumped them until they were whining.
"Where do you want it?" Jungkook asked urgently. Wrapping his own hand around his length he spurt his hot load into your open waiting mouth and proceeded to stand looking dazed as you turned towards Taehyung.
"Are you gonna swallow that?"
You looked up with big eyes, mouth open and shook your head no while holding Jungkook's load on your tongue.
A Few furious strokes later Taehyung came undone, filling the rest of your mouth with his salty excitement.
Gripping your chin, his thumb caressed your jaw. "What are you waiting for?"
Getting off your knees you stood to meet their gaze, swallowed and smiled. "Sometimes things taste better combined."

The last day was quiet, you'd not spoken to either man since yesterday's trist. Bags were packed, passports were lost and located and staff scurried around making sure everything was in order. Your mind was left to wander. You'd hoped the lack of communication was from exhaustion and not embarrassment, you didn't regret a thing.
Separate cars rolled into the airport and you stood by yourself not wanting to make them uncomfortable in case they indeed had doubts over what had happened.
Deep into your twitter feed you felt a warm arm wrap around your waist. Jungkook smiled shyly, "I was hoping you'd sit with me this time. You know keep things equal."
Walking over Taehyung raised his eyebrows at the both of you, "I have a better idea." He held out three new boarding passes, "I got us our own cabin."

Y/n sat down with her coffee at a cafeteria table. She took a deep breath and opened her notebook, double-clicking the document and revealing the page she'd been trying to write for some time. It couldn't be happening again. It was already the third writer's block in a row and to say she was starting to get angry was an understatement.
It was becoming a constant problem and she didn't know what to do anymore. It was getting embarrassing how many times she had gone to her neighborhood coffee shop. Staying in her apartment alone was making her completely claustrophobic, which was ironic given her apartment was so big and spacious.
But what was making her so upset and with that lack of creativity? That's what she wanted to find out. Maybe it was the story, maybe it would be a sign that that story shouldn't be written.
She took a deep breath and rested her chin on her palm looking at the screen. She didn't want to give up on June, her character, so easy. She really want to finish this, had she already invested too much time in something that in the end would come to nothing? That didn't sound like her.
But if that were the only way, she would have no alternative, she would have to give up and maybe come back one day when her creativity shines again.
She felt her cell phone vibrate in her coat pocket and caught it looking that was Milla. She slid the screen and answered.
- Hi Mil... - she said a little discouraged.
- Hey Lovey! Why the sad voice? - Milla said and Y/n smirked.
- Just discouraged with the new book...
- Nothing yet? - Mila already knew about the extensive Y/n block’s creativity since she kept calling asking for tips on teas or candles that would bring inspiration (since Mil was an expert in these crazy things about spiritism and nature), which obviously didn't help.
- Nothing, actually I'm thinking about giving up this time...
- Hey Hey hey! No giving up, are you crazy? - Milla said and Y/n sighed. - You just need a little push, it will come back eventually.
- I don't know Mil... It seems that the inspiration went away for good.
- Since when did you lose your ideas? I remember that weeks ago you were all excited, you even wrote three wonderful chapters, maybe if you try to do the same thing you did in these weeks the ideas will come back... - Milla said and Y/n started to remember the weeks that passed. What had she done? Well, she had spent more at home as usual, a few days meeting with the director of the series based on her book, chatting a bit with Emma Brown, and the other day doing an interview for a famous magazine, but that was it. She hadn't done anything big...
Y/n thought some more. Emma Brown and her birthday party, after that day she had a flurry of ideas where she wouldn't stop writing, but then what happened to make everything suddenly stop? Well, there was an obvious incident... And by incident she meant: Tom. That waiter had really messed with her the two nights she had been with him. But she hadn't seen him since and she was super okay with it, it wasn't like she was thinking about him, his smell, his smile, the way he knew how to touch her... Ok, that was going too far.
But why since she saw him she started having her lack of ideas again? It wasn't possible. What if he was inspiring her in some way or another? Maybe the way he relaxed her and made her forget about everything made her creative.
- Y/n? Bestie? - Milla asked on the other end of the line. - Are you still there?
- Hi Mil! - Y/n said out of his thoughts. - Sorry, I went out of orbit for a few seconds.
- I noticed... What are you thinking about huh?
- Oh no big deal... Just... I have to prove a theory and if it works out I'll tell you.
- Theory? What theory? - Milla asked curiously.
- I have to go, but I'll call you later ok? - Y/n said and didn't wait for Milla to answer, hanging up the phone and hurriedly packing up her things.
She had to prove she wasn't going crazy. Maybe Tom really was her energy charge in some way, she had to prove if her creativity would come back. And if he was, she really wouldn't know what to do. She couldn't sleep with him every time her lack of ideas came up. But, she was desperate and despair brought drastic attitudes.
So she ran back to her apartment to change her clothes. To think that she had sworn to herself that she wouldn't go after him, was humiliating, but she didn't care at the moment. As soon she got home, she went straight to her closet, wanting to impress him, but at the same time she wanted him to think that she went there to get someone else, it would be less pathetic.
She spotted a white dress, one that she had never worn before, presumably because she didn't like to show too much of her body, but she decided to take a chance with it. She dressed, put on her high-heeled sandals and did her makeup (the basic one she knew how to do) and when it was almost 11pm she was heading towards the Seven Devils bar.
Arriving there, she saw the same security guard who had let her through, a friend of Tom's. She nodded to him and entered. The bar was a little more crowded, maybe because it was friday night. He felt butterflies in her stomach, what if someone recognized her? She doubted they would, but even though she wasn't doing anything wrong she hated being in the media. She took a deep breath and went deeper into the room. It was dark and the dance floor was open, crowded with people dancing and few people sitting at the table. Only the bar light was visible, where she immediately looked for someone with brown hair and a bar uniform, but she didn't saw him, just Sally, the other bartender. Maybe he has a day off?
She headed towards the bar to order a drink, leaning against the counter and looked around, no sign of him. Maybe she had gone there for nothing. Sally approached and Y/n smiled asking for a drink, she didn't want to ask about him because it would be too much and besides Sally didn't recognize her, or pretended not to, so it would be weird.
- Special night? - Y/n asked when she delivered her drink, indicating the number of people and why the dance floor was open.
- Yeah, we do it every friday, the bar ends up turning into a club. - Sally replied taking some glasses and turned to serve other customers.
She picked up her glass and headed out onto the dance floor. It wouldn't hurt for her to have a little fun. Weaving through the crowd, she started shyly dancing for a few long minutes alone, until a guy approached.
-Hey ...-he said smiling and stopped in front of her.
- Hey... - Y/n said suspiciously and looked around drinking her drink.
- I saw you're alone... Can I stay here? he asked and Y/n bit her lip thoughtfully. Well, Tom clearly wasn't there and what if his ideas didn't just depend on him? But of her hooking up with someone? Anyone...
- Of course! - she said smiling at last and he approached dancing with her while the lights flashed. He was handsome, had those piercing eyes that wouldn't stop watching her every move.
Another song started to play and Y/n started dancing more sensually. The boy came even closer placing his hand on her waist and she smiled, satisfied with her effect. Everything was going well until she glanced at the bar and found a pair of brown eyes staring at her.
Tom. So there he was, wearing his uniform, his hair pulled back as usual, he was gorgeous and with a shaker in one hand shaking furiously. He didn't take his eyes off hers which made her shiver.
He just looked away when he had to take care of the next customer, and Y/n looked at the guy in front of her, where she now had a hand on his shoulder. Who was she kidding? She wanted Tom... At least she would try to have him that night, because she was curious to test her theory with him.
- I'll be right back. - she said and the guy opened his arms disappointed as she walked away, taking the rest of her drink and heading towards the bar again.
She leaned against the counter and saw Tom saying goodbye to a customer looking at her from the corner of his eye. She approached her and grinned when he stopped in front of her.
- This is getting embarrassing darling... - he said wiping the counter with a towel.
- What are you talking about?- she asked raising an eyebrow.
- You coming here just to see me? Tsc tsc... pathetic - he said with a smirk and Y/n felt her stomach turn with anxiety as he looked up at her.
- And who said I came here for you? - She said trying to hide it.
- I don't know, maybe because you could have gone to any bar better than this one in the entire city, but you chose this one, strange isn't it? - He asked taking her glass and preparing another drink.
- Funny, I only came here because I liked the place last time... Besides I was even flirting with another guy seconds ago, so your theory doesn't make sense. - Y/n said ironically and did not take her eyes off his trying to be firm on her tone.
- Yeah, I know... But it's funny that you didn't take your eyes off me while dancing with him... - he said putting her glass, now full, back on the counter.
- I was just surprised to have seen you, since I had even forgotten that you worked here. - She said drinking a sip from her glass and he laughed ironically.
-Of course love ... Of course ...-he said tilting his head to the side and approached his face to hers leaning on the counter. Y/n stared at him a little lost in his scent coming in waves to her nose and she could now see his freckles up close, as well as the arrogant smile that never left his face.
- I bet you came here for another round, right? he said quietly, his breath hitting her face and she almost closed her eyes. -Getting dressed like that, dancing sensually while watching me...-he said biting his lip looking her face up and down and stopping at her lips. Y/n swallowed, ok he had an almost paranormal effect on her.
- I-I... - she stuttered and he smiled even more seeing her disconcerted. - I don't know what you're talking about. - Y/n said finally and walked away a little, wanting to get out of that situation. She wanted him, but she didn't want to give out so easily.
- Of course you don't know sweetheart, but I can remind you later. - He said, winking and then walking away, heading towards another customer who had arrived.
Y/n let out the air she didn't even know she was holding, tooking a big swig of her drink and set the glass on the counter heading back to the floor. Tom was very arrogant, but denying that she didn't like it was a lie.
She arrived on the floor and went back to dancing closer. The guy from before now was talking to another girl which made her a little sad, she wanted to have fun with Tom's face some more. She stayed there for a few minutes, until three people approached her, surrounding her.
- Hey... Aren't you the Y/n? - a girl said and Y/n wanted to hide for a moment.
- Erm... I am. - She said smiling.
- I saw you in an interview last week! I love your books! Take a picture with me? she asked taking her cell phone out of her pocket.
- Of course! - Y/n said and posed with the three people while they took pictures.
- Hey! You are Y/n aren't you? I saw you in Emma's birthday pictures! -a guy said right behind approaching too and some people around her start to look at her.
- It is true! I recognized her from somewhere! - another girl said also approaching and Y/n started to get a little scared. She didn't see the harm in taking pictures with some fans, but being buried by them was a nightmare.
- Take a picture with me? - another also said.
- Your books are terrible! - another one shouted laughing.
- I bet the next one will be even worse!
- Who is this? Never heard of it!
- I bet it must be some actress wanting attention.
And when she saw she was surrounded by a crowd almost being suffocated, but more people kept surrounding her and filling her with questions about her book, or cursing her in some way, which started to make her sick and claustrophobic .
-Please, guys...-she started to speak, but her voice broke and was lost with the loud music and with the people talking loudly around her. For a moment she thought she was going to pass out. Until she felt someone putting a hand on her waist and guiding her out of the crowd hurriedly walking beside her.
The crowd started to follow them and Y/n just stared at her feet, still feeling her heart beat fast. The next thing she saw was this person pulling her to the side of the bar through a door and then closing it.
He looked around when the light was turned on and saw some boxes on the floor and shelves. She was in a warehouse and Tom was standing in front of her.
- You are okay?- he asked looking at her worriedly.
- I...- She closed her eyes for a few seconds and opened them again. - I'm fine, it was just a scare, thank you for saving me...
- It's ok darling... - he said approaching to check if she was really ok and Y/n felt dizzy, staggering a little and he held her by the waist preventing her from falling. - Whoa, I don't think you're okay, love.
- It's ok, it was just an anxiety attack with drinking... - she said putting her hand on her temples, feeling her vision rotate a little. - I just... I really want to leave.
- Okay, how about we walk slowly and I take you home? -He said still holding tight to her waist and she looked at him.
-O-ok...- she said nodding and they started walking slowly.
After passing through the warehouse, Tom opened another door that opened into the backyard of the bar, where he could see his car. He helped her in and sat down next to her.
- Tom? - Y/n asked when he started the car and starting to move.
- Huh? -he said turning his face towards her.
- Can you... Can you take me somewhere else? I don't want to go home... - she said feeling a little pathetic. But she didn't want to face her gigantic apartment right now, wanted to be with someone somewhere else who didn't remember what she'd just been through.
- Sure darling... - he said stopping at the red light. - Where you want to go?
- Could be your house? I mean, I don't want to take advantage or anything, I just... I need to calm down somewhere else... - She started to say hesitant.
- Hey, fine, no problem. -He said putting his hand in hers, that was on her lap, comforting her and she shook her head, seeing him to remove, putting back on the steering wheel. She wanted him to keep his hand there, but obviously she stay quiet, leaning her head against the window, trying to calm down.
After a few minutes they reached his building, where Tom parked and helped her to go out of the car. Y/n followed him to the front door and they took the elevator. She was still silent the whole time and he didn't want to say anything either, just glanced at her time to time, maybe checking her if she was okay and looking away afterwards.
They arrived at Tom's apartment and Y/n looked around. It was small but cozy. There was a living room with a small kitchen and a hallway leading to another door that appeared to be his bedroom.
- How about you stay in my room and I give you some clothes to make you more comfortable? -He said putting his hand on her back guiding her while she nodded.
They entered the room and Y/n sat on the edge of the bed. As Tom opened his closet, taking off his shoes and choosing a comfortable T-shirt and pants for her to wear. He approached her again putting the clothes beside her.
- Well, you can make yourself comfortable ok? I'll let you... - he start to said.
- Tom. - Y/n interrupted him. - Please stay here. - She said feeling her heart start beating fast and her breathing quicken. She thought back to the horrible comments and the crowd that had surrounded her. Maybe now pictures of her were all over the internet and it made her anxious again. She closed her eyes feeling tears wanting to flow. She opened them again and the tears finally spilled out, rolling down her cheeks.
- Hey, hey darling. It’s alright, I'm here. -he said getting down in front of her, putting a hand on her cheek wiping away some tears.
- Sorry, I just... That's ridiculous, sorry...
- Shh... - he said calming her and looking at her. - It's not ridiculous ok? You don't need to apologize for anything. -He said caressing her cheek.
- It's just... I keep thinking about those horrible comments and how my picture must be all over the place. - Y/n said wiping some tears that insisted on falling.
- Darling... You don't need to think about it, okay? Those people who said that are terrible, I don't want you to think about anything now how about that? - he said and Y/N looked at him.
- I wish I could turn off those thoughts. -she said sniffling a little, averting her eyes and Tom stroked her leg slowly comforting her. For a moment she felt her body shiver, but it was because Tom was touching her and not because of her crisis. He stopped pulling his hand away and Y/n looked at him. - Tom... Can you continue?
- What do you mean? - he asked confused looking into her eyes.
- Touching me... I mean, you were doing a good job distracting me. - She said smiling slightly and he smiled back.
- Sure…- he said getting down on his knees and taking her calf slowly and kissing her lightly, not taking his eyes off hers at any time. Y/n wanted to close her eyes, but at the same time wanted to look at him, so she decided to keep them open.
Tom took off his sandals slowly, and was kissing from her calf to her thigh, stroking lightly with his hand that held her, and she felt shivers down her spine. . He reached her inner thigh and took a small bite causing her to sigh and bite her lip in response. He lifted his head to look at her and smiled. Y/n not resisting, bent down kissing him with desire. He placed one of his hand on her face kissing her back while his other hand still rested on her thigh squeezing.
She kept kissing him until she felt she needed of air and they parted, out of breath. Tom touched his nose to hers lightly and Y/n closed his eyes feeling him.
- Tom... I want to feel you... - she said approaching her mouth again. - Make love with me? - she asked quietly and she could feel him smile against her mouth.
-Whatever you want sweetheart... - he said and stood up suddenly with hush, bringing her along  by her legs, making her gasp in surprise, putting her down on the bed and lying on top of her afterwards.
He went back to kiss her, exploring her mouth eagerly and she placed her hand on the back of her neck, pulling his hair. He paced his hands over her body and she hurriedly took his shirt off, running hers over his defined bare chest.
- I didn't tell you this before, but you look wonderful in that dress, teased me all night, but I confess I'd rather see you without... - He bit down lightly below her ear making her moan low, he raised the hem of her dress, stepping away and helping her get it off and throwing it aside.
Now he was kissing her collarbone, lowering the kisses to her breasts making her arch her back a little wanting to get even closer to his mouth. When she reliase he had removed her bra and smirked looking at her.
- I have to be honest...I missed that image. - he said and Y/n almost hid by the way he looked at her, it was like she was a sculpture, it was a look of admiration and desire. A look that made her forget the world.
He kissed her breasts and positioned himself between her legs, meanwhile taking off his pants, along with his boxers, while still paying attention to each of her nipples, sucking them making her moan low. He returned his kisses to her lips again kissing her more slowly this time, moving his hand to her panties and running his fingers slowly through the fabric, setting aside and feeling how pathetically wet she was for him. Y/n moaned against his lips again and he groaned pulling back a little.
-I love how you're always ready for me darling...-he said making his lips touch hers lightly and she could only moan in response as he made slow circles on her clit.
- Tom... - she said weakly and he smiled seeing how she was vulnerable for him. - Please, I need you inside me, now... - Y/n managed to said between moans, arching her waist against his hand.
- So demanding and desperate love ... - he said taking his hand of her making her protest with the lack of contact. - But I have to confess that you get even hotter that way. - He said stretching to get a condom in the drawer on the side of the bed and opened the package adjusting on his member right after. Y/n ran her hands on his arms, meanwhile, just admiring his body and how lucky she was. He looked back at her and smiled seeing that she was admired him with concentration. - Still with me darling?
She looked him in the eye again and nodded, kissing his neck then making him bite his lip. Tom took his cock closing his eyes and penetrated her slowly, so that she got used to his size. When he was fully inside her he turned to look at her closely and stroked her cheek lightly as if asking permission to move, which she readily agreed.
He started to move slowly, making her feel every piece of him by wich thrust he was doing, until he picked up a fast pace that made her moan with pleasure gripping his shoulders tightly and even scratchin him a little. He made her feel like she was flying and he penetrated her so deliciously it felt like a dream.
Tom took one of her legs and wrapped it around his waist, making him penetrate her even deeper, which made her almost combust. He was silent the entire time, as well as her, what could be heard were just the moans of the two that echoed through the room.
After what seemed like an eternity. Tom slowed his pace a little. Putting one of his hands on the side of Y/n's head, squeezing the sheet and the other on her leg, squeezing it willingly.
- Fuck Darling... I’m gonna come... - he said breathlessly lost in his pleasure.
- Tom... - Y/n could only said and he took his hand from her leg going to her clit again stimulating it with his fingers and increasing his pace again, until the two reached the orgasm together between moans and low breathless curses.
Tom placed a few kisses on Y/n's neck returning to his senses and Y/n closed her eyes just feeling his touch. He then got off her and lay beside her looking at the ceiling. Catching his breath. After cleaning themselves in silence, the two returned to bed lying side by side.
- You ok? he asked finally breaking the silence looking at her.
-More than ok...- Y/n said lying on his side towards him. -I'm just tired...-she said lazily starting to close her eyes and the last thing she felt before falling asleep was Tom kissing her forehead.

word count: 1421
author's note: I am incredibly in love with Kim Mingyu and he would be a perfect husband, so enjoy this piece of a happy couple.
Tumblr media
It was not morning, but sunlight rays peeked through the closed curtains, creating a warm soft glow into the bedroom. The couple sleeping safe and sound decided it would be nice to take a nap during the afternoon to be well rested to the event they needed to attend later on the evening. A wedding rehearsal. Mingyu’s sister’s wedding rehearsal.
He still could not quite believe his little sister would be marrying in less than a day, but her fiance seemed to be a good man, so he was accepted in the Kim family, which means Mingyu had liked him, much more than her previous boyfriends.
Feeling like the nap had lasted long enough and bothered by the light hitting her right in the face when the curtains were swung by the soft wind, the woman slowly woke up, her body doing the same things as always: face fondly rubbing on Mingyu’s chest, hand caressing his abdomen back and forth and leg rubbing up and down on his. Her grip on the man tightened before she could let him go, as if he was her body pillow or Teddy bear and, honestly, he was.
As if on clue, when she tried to get up, Mingyu rolled both on bed and laid on top of her, also rubbing his face on her chest and tightening his grip around her waist. He was a big touchy boy and has always loved cuddling her, since the beginning of their relationship, but he always paid attention to the limits, of course. Fortunately for him, she was almost as touchy.
— Gyu, I need to get up — she groaned, but started stroking his fluffy messy hair. He looked the most adorable when he woke up, so adorable she probably would not mind skipping the day just to enjoy him.
The man mumbled a protest, but let her go, rolling on the bed again and grabbing a pillow to cuddle, because, as he constantly said, "sleeping is much better when there's something warm between your arms". She could not disagree, ever.
— I'll take a bath, but you can sleep for a little longer, okay?
He nodded sleepily, clutching the pillow and making her smile at her lovely big husband. No one could expect the next scene. As the sleep had not left her yet, when she got up and walked to the bathroom, she tripped over her shoes, almost falling on the floor, but fortunately she did not, however, Mingyu was startled, turning to her the second he heard the thud of her feet hitting the floor.
— Jeez, what are you doing, woman?
— I tripped, sorry — chuckled, kicking the shoes to the side.
Arriving at the bathroom safely after that mini accident, she took off her clothes and took a long shower, pampering herself in the best way. A wedding rehearsal would happen, a fancy event, so she needed to feel good and pretty, otherwise the night would be a nightmare for her.
When she was done with hair and body, the woman wiped down the foggy mirror, giggled to herself remembering that trend on Tiktok and made sure the bathroom windows and door were open so the steam of the previous shower could dissipate faster.
Wearing only normal cotton black panties and with her hair wrapped with a towel, she looked natural and fresh, which Mingyu made sure to empathize once he saw her through the mirror, brushing her teeth and with her breasts out.
— Well, well, well, what do we have here? — He came from behind and rested his hands on her naked waist.
The woman rolled her eyes and would have called him "silly" if her mouth wasn't occupied. The tip of his nose ran from her neck to her shoulder, sniffling her skin and making agreement hums.
— You smell so good, babe, so fresh.
She smiled at his image on the mirror and leaned back, resting on his naked chest for a moment, while he kissed her shoulder and caressed her waist with both thumbs. She bent down to quickly spit the toothpaste on her mouth and reply:
— That's what you are supposed to smell like after a shower.
— I know, but — he hums — you are so nice.
She turned around on his grip and pointed her toothbrush to his face, asking:
— Won't you dress up?
Instead of replying, Mingyu pecked her lips, even though she still had blue-ish foam on them, and smiled, licking his own and tasting the mint on them.
— I will, just let me enjoy you for a bit longer. — He kissed her cheek.
— Don’t make us late, please, your family wouldn’t like it.
— I never make us late.
She washed her mouth and turned to him again, now hugging his neck and pressing her chest to his.
— Do I need to remember you who arrived late at our wedding?
He groaned, making her smile, and answered:
— I’ve told you countless times it wasn’t my fault. The car wouldn’t work.
— Yes, I know, but I messaged Minghao that day and he said you were already late because your “face didn’t look right”.
— Unblessed be, Minghao!
She laughed, pecked the man’s lips, cheek and jaw and tapped his butt.
— Now, go and take a shower. I’ll take the hairdryer and head out of here.
Mingyu was not having it. He gripped her waist and kept her in place, whining.
— Why don’t you dry your hair here? It would be a nice vision to see during shower. — He wiggled his eyebrows and slid his hands down to her butt, squeezing it softly.
— I'm gonna cover up, seriously, you are a perv.
— No, no, no, I'm not, I swear I'm not. — He hugs her properly, nuzzling his nose in her cheek. — I just love you so much and seeing you, doesn’t matter how, makes me happy.
She chuckled, cheeks getting warm, because, damn, that man was The Man, always saying simple things that made her heart jump even after years of marriage. However, she still wore her favorite robe, then unwrapped her hair from the towel. While he took a shower, she dried her hair and they made small talk loud enough to be heard over the water and the hairdryer sounds: Mingyu told her funny stories about his friends, and she told him about the promotion happening on her office. He encouraged her to participate, knowing she was incredibly capable of getting a higher role in the company.
— You say that because you are my husband.
He opened the shower box and put his head out, droplets of water falling down on him, hair slicked back and eyebrows furrowed. Handsome.
— Hey! I may be married to you, but I’m not dumb, okay? I know you have potencial, babe.
Smiling, she went over to him and kissed his wet lips, thanking him before making her way out of the bathroom, hair ready.
A few minutes later, she was sat on the high chair by the kitchen counter messaging her sister-in-law, who was currently doing her makeup and sending her funny photos and nervous messages. While she typed out answers, Mingyu came from behind again, hugging his wife and resting his chin on her bare shoulder.
— Why are you chuckling? — He asked, kissing her exposed skin.
— Your sister. She’s really nervous and mentioned running away with her fiance. Can you imagine what people would say if the bride and the groom didn’t show up?
He chuckled, squeezing you between his arms before turning you to face him.
— And are you trying to calm her or...?
— I am. I said how marriage is wonderful with the right person, the person you love, how they will make everything to see you smile everyday and make you feel at ease every single day.
— Awnt, you are so cute, babe, you really are whipped for me.
— What is your credibility to say that? You are even worse.
— Yep, and I’m proud.
Mingyu gave her the softest smile, which she could not handle at the moment as her heart swell with the great amount of love she felt for him, so the woman kissed him while his hands held her waist soflty and hers played with his damp hair.
They could only hope the almost newlywed couple felt the same way they did, overflowing with true love every minute of the day.

We Met Within This Screen (chapt. 4)
[Donnie x fem reader]
sfw, chapt. 3, pt. 4 here
Tumblr media
Sighing, you set your phone face-down after sending your last text to Bo. What an abrupt end to something that had been so good. You were confused, a little taken aback and honestly sad. You'd thought the two of you were getting along well. Bo was smart, well-spoken, funny, and all around, a really nice person. He listened to your venting and seemed like he had a response to everything. Always, he had some random fact to hit you with whether it was about biology, chemistry, astronomy, language—you weren't sure where he got all his knowledge from. He'd never mentioned school, if he went. He didn't mention a lot about himself, actually.
People come and go, someone had once told you. You guessed that he was one of those passersby, as much as you wanted it to be more.
More?
When had you started thinking that? More what?
You were tempted to pick your phone back up, to check and see if there were any new messages. Not that you could expect much; Bo had been so curt about his exit from your friendship that it was left at his last text, "Again, I'm sorry." You wanted to say something, but what was there to say? It was his decision. A sudden, uncharacteristic, and frankly odd decision, but still, his. Thinking back on it, you tried to remember any instance you might have crossed a line, or maybe said something you shouldn't have. That's what made you open up the messages again, scrolling up and up and looking for anything weird, but finding nothing of the sort. It had all been normal up until when you texted him about the clamor you'd heard outside your apartment building. And then it went flat—he didn't even respond to it, just said his apology and his goodbye before going offline.
You wanted to take your mind off it with a game, but as you looked through your list and saw the one you and him had played together, you knew it was near ruined for you. It just wasn't the same to play alone or with your acquaintances. An otherwise boring game made fun by one particular person, but now it was barely what it used to be.
Unfortunate.
The next morning might have felt more normal if it weren't for the fact that everyone was pretending like it was. For the sake of secrecy from their father. As far as Donnie knew, Splinter still didn't know anything was or had been going on, and he intended to keep it that way, too. He wanted to tell his father, he did, but all he saw coming of that was reprimanding, or at the very least an awkward discussion, and possibly, time in the Hashi. He was already feeling the aftermath of his actions; he didn't need any more. Especially as he checked the messaging app one last time, only to find it empty, aside from her goodbye.
Donnie stood at the kitchen counter, mask off and groggy as usual, scrounging for something to eat. Maybe a cup of coffee (if they had any), which he was looking for when Mikey bounced in. Normally, his brothers would avoid him when he was in one of his "moods". He hadn't a passionate temper like Raph but a slow-brewing one, the kind that festers until it's alleviated or boils over. Cold quiet was his thing.
But Donnie knew why he was here. So did Mikey. He had that familiar glint of mischief in his eye.
There was no coffee, so he settled for some kind of pastry they'd found while looking through the dumpsters. Really, the item was fine—only the packaging and appearance was defective. It was a wonder just how much food grocers wasted over arbitrary reasons, but regardless, he was happy to oblige his secret sweet tooth.
From the corner of his eye he could see Mikey waiting eagerly for him to turn around and regard him. To listen to whatever he was about to talk his ear off with. Their youngest brother was more often than not bright-eyed in the morning, something Donnie's morning fog could not always entertain. He picked at his food at the counter for a moment, mind wandering back to his night and subsequently,  the unresolved feelings. Dreadfully unresolved, he groaned inside. And they probably would continue to be, as after sleeping on what had happened the previous night, thinking about her, he realized something that made his face flush. Oh, no.
He froze in his place, suddenly very awake. He looked over his shoulder and found Mikey was distracted rummaging through the food for his own breakfast, and with a faint cringe, tried to sneak out of the kitchen undetected. No way would he admit to Mikey's words on the rooftop that night, the ones that made him flinch with embarrassment. The same ones that bounced around his head despite all attempts to stuff it down. "You like her, bro."
Things involving him could never be simple, could they?
Abandoning his plate, Donnie began tip-toeing out of the room right behind Mikey. His foot hit the leg of a chair and caused a creak—he winced. As he thought, Mikey looked back, "Why are you sneaking around? You didn't finish your breakfast. Can't go on patrol on an empty stomach, dude."
Before Donnie could even answer, he continued in a whisper, "Plus—"
"Whatever it is, Mikey, not now," he cut his brother off, "last night was the end of it, alright? You need to let it go." It sounded harsher than he would have preferred, but he felt the need to drill it into Mikey's skull that it was over, that it was just something he'd have to deal with. There were a lot of things they dealt with despite not liking it. With time, he'd forget—more accurately, be able to ignore— and maybe he could find the same enjoyment in his brothers once again. That sort of friendship.  But at the moment, it was ruined for him—he got a taste of something more and it was taken away what felt like second later.
Mikey's face fell. Donnie couldn't stand that, seeing him upset over something he'd said. He had a bit of a soft spot for their youngest, no doubt. Just wasn't always obvious.
"Aren't you afraid you'll regret it?" he asked, voice soft.
Fear was a strong word, but of course Donnie was anxious. It was the thing holding him back from being able to simply compartmentalize everything, to put it in a box and on the metaphorical "deal with this later because it's uncomfortable right now" shelf. Or to deal with it at all, as ignoring his problems with studying and unrelated research and experimentation wasn't exactly prime management. He knew that.
After a while of thought, Donnie was able to give him an answer. "Well…I mean, how could I not be?" he inquired in return before leaning out of the doorway to scan the lair. Everyone was either in their room, the dojo, or there, in the kitchen. Mikey has always made him feel most comfortable, and he was sure that was the case for the other three, just that they had other ways of showing it. He was certainly easy to talk to; if Donnie weren't so careful of his mouth and what came out of it, he could probably spew way more to him than he liked. Mikey could come through sometimes, though, which prompted him to keep going, "It was a big thing for me. We've been disconnected from everything else for so long that it was just...exciting, to get a look into what it's like. Being 'regular', you know?"
Mikey sat down on one of the bar stools, feet idly shuffling against the floor as he folded his arms and rested on them. "You didn't hear it from me, but I'm a little jealous," he said playfully, but Donnie was aware that it was the case. "Maybe I'm pushing you to go after her because I'm trying to live vic–vicrous–v–…"
Donnie smiled, he couldn't help it. "'Vicariously'?" he suggested.
"Yeah! That," Mikey beamed, nodding. "You get what I mean."
"I understand."
The conversation died off soon after as Donnie decided to get breakfast over with and do whatever needed to be done before they left for patrol that night, darkness falling earlier due to the upcoming winter. It wasn't too cold for them to be out yet, though, so that still meant a chilly patrol in the Autumn breeze. He hated the cold.
As Donnie was making himself busy at a circuit board in his lab, he heard the beads in the doorway shift, and to his surprise, Splinter came shuffling in.
"Sensei?"
He put down his soldering iron, spinning around in his chair. "Something the matter?"
Splinter ran his fingers along a shelf on the wall as he wandered by, careful to not disturb any of the items lining it. Beakers, recently-repaired electronic parts, projects put on pause, things that would loathe to be broken.
"There is always something," Splinter replied enigmatically, "I would not be here if that weren't true. Would you agree?"
 I'm compromised!
Donnie had a strong but hidden dislike for vague speaking, even if he did it himself sometimes. When spoken to you it's much more bothersome.
Splinter waited for his answer, looking at him expectantly. "Donatello?"
"Yeah, um…yes, I would—I would agree. I suppose. So...what is it again?" Damn his stutter, he couldn't get away with anything, hardly. He was only able to stifle it just enough.
Picking a random pipette on the desk next to Donnie, Splinter studied the green liquid close for a second before his nose twitched, and he put it back down. "You have been very busy lately, it seems. What is it that you work on all day in here? Or are you playing games?"
Donnie's heart thumped. His hand found that particular spot on his neck and began to scratch, and Splinter looked at him dead in the eye. He should have known; there was no hiding anything from their father, he was too good. Stupidly, infuriatingly perceptive. Donnie caught himself scratching that spot and slid his hand away, he hadn't even noticed he was picking at it again. He knows, Mikey told him, I probably look like a guilty idiot right now, I'm—
"I haven't been playing games," Donnie blurted out.
Quizzically, Splinter gestured at the computer screen on the other wall, which had the menu of the game he'd opened up just earlier. Reminiscing over it even though it had been only a couple of days since he and his friend had last played together, but he stared at the screen as if it had been years. It made him realize how easily he'd gotten attached to that. Well, to her. He was on the fence about whether he wanted to try playing again or not and left it on.
Oh, you have to be kidding. I'm a fool in a man's shoes.
Donnie laughed uncomfortably, "You caught me, Sensei," he said, "I guess I have been playing games more often lately."
It was honest enough, right?
Splinter hummed and cupped his hands behind his back. "I see."
Straightening out, Donnie dipped his head a little. "I'll...lay off on them. Sorry for lying. I've just been really distracted recently."
"Liars never prosper, my son. Take care of yourself."
He then left.
So he didn't know. Donnie still couldn't say it with any degree of confidence, because Splinter would trip them up here and there, but it was assurance enough to know that if Splinter was aware of what had gone on between the four brothers and his new—rather, former—human friend, he would have confronted Donnie about it. Or all of them, considering it was now a secret they were all in on actively hiding. And on top of that, Raph and Leo didn't know Mikey was conspiring. Layers and layers, he sighed.
With Splinter gone, he let out a breath of relief. Too close. Much. But, swiftly evaded. A chuckle left him, not of humor, but more because he was actually feeling a little confident. Just a little. They were really hiding something from Splinter; it was reason enough to pat himself on the back, nothing got past Splinter. Except for him.
Briefly, he thought of Mikey's outlandish idea as he spun back around in his chair. "Mikey, you are crazy," he mumbled to himself as he took his soldering iron, resuming his work from before. "But..."
