Champagne Problems.
Pairing: Neteyam Sully x female!human!reader
CW: angsty, reader feeling her heart hurt, adeline being funny and shipping reader and neteyam, symptoms of PTSD (like a nightmare), sexual tension, confessions of love, angry neteyam, confused neteyam, yearning, crying, fluff, sexual content, neteyam loving reader's breasts, neteyam using his fangs on reader's body, p in v, territorial neteyam, needy and clingy neteyam, slight breeding kink, creampie
I almost cried writing this chapter and istg my pussy clenched hard while I was writing the smut part so… have a good read, I guess lol ps: I know I said I was gonna have a break from uploading my long fics (and I am!) but there was an itch in my hand to finish this story and I gave in and scratched it lol I kinda knew I eventually would. But I'm only gonna update the other fics next year. This one was an exception bc there was only one chapter left (this one lol)
Not proofread. I woke up in the middle of the night to write this, it's already morning outside and I'm sleepy and sick :(
Part 7: All I want is you
Tumblr media
𓇼
It's hard to be anywhere these days when all I want is you
You're a flashback in a film reel on the one screen in my town
And I just wanted you to know that this is me trying
this is me trying (Taylor Swift)
𓇼
In the morning, you woke up and realized you were no longer sitting on the floor, resting your back against the wall of Kiri's marui, but rather laying in your mat. You had a sharp headache but you didn't really know why. Maybe lack of enough sleep, maybe tension… Your eyes searched around for Neteyam but he was no longer there. You knew instantly that Neteyam had been the one to carry you to your mat. He was the only one awake other than you when you two were talking while it was eclipse and you knew it wasn't his nature to leave a girl sleeping while sitting down on the floor in a weird position and go home. No, he was too much of a gentleman for that.
The realization that you were about to go back to the lab in a few days and leave Neteyam behind again hit you like a train. The thought of being without him and having no guarantee that he wasn't gonna find a mate while you were gone and when you'd come back and see him again, he'd be happy with a beautiful na'vi girl by his side - perhaps even carrying his baby in her womb - broke you in a billion little pieces.
Your heart started to beat fast in your chest, like it was gonna escape from inside your body and come out through your throat. But there was also a big lump in your throat. Anxiety stinged your whole body like sharp, thin needles.
You didn't want to lose Neteyam. Just imagining having to stare at a wall in your room at night, to see his sweet face in the crushing darkness and feel the tears rolling down your face, reminding you that you would never be able to hold him again, to feel his huge but gentle hands on your skin, to smell his comforting scent… and worse: to know he would be in some other girl's arms every night, letting her kiss him, having… God, having sex with her…
No. You couldn't let him go. It would rip your heart apart.
And if Neteyam didn't go for Munì like you thought he did, that meant that he didn't stop loving you… right? That's what you were desperately hoping for. You were almost sure you had seen him get slightly happy when you acted like an idiot and let him see how jealous you were of Munì last night. Maybe that meant he still felt something for you.
If you were right about Neteyam's feelings, you didn't quite know why he loved the mess of a girl that you were but… somehow he did, and he was sad because of you, because you refused to be his mate when that's all you truly wanted, in the first place. You had let fear hold you back once again. But not this time. You had to be brave. You had to at least try.
Putting the sheet that was once over you to the side, you uncovered your body and, in a rapid motion, you got up from your mat and got to your feet, feeling the slight coldness on the floor of the marui. Your feet walked slowly but surely among your two best human friends, trying hard not to step on or kick one of the girls as they were sleeping right next to your mat.
You got startled by Adeline's voice echoing in the morning air as she whispered energetically to you.
"(y/n), where are you going?" Her voice was hoarse and slightly funny, because of slumber.
"I thought you were sleeping!" You whispered back as you looked at her sleepy and moody face while she laid down in her mat
"I was but I felt the need to pee and woke up. Answer my question, please!" She demanded
Your heart started beating fast and you spoke "I'm gonna try and make things right with Neteyam."
"Thank God." She dramatically grunted "I knew you liked him all along, I just wouldn't try and force you to mate with the guy, of course. But damn, I've known you since we were kids and I know when you're in love. I wanted to slap you when I saw you looking gloomy and I would ask you what was wrong and you would say that it was nothing but I just knew you were missing him and regretting refusing to be his mate. And Neteyam brought you back to your mat in his freaking arms! You can't let the guy go, you idiot! He loves you! Can't you see it? You both love each other! What was stopping you before from saying “Hey, I know I'm a bit crazy but I wanna be your mate!”?” She sighed, like she was tired of that whole situation
“How do you know Neteyam carried me back to my mat?” Surprise was all over your face
“I woke up at eclipse with your chatter, mamas.” She said nonchalantly
“Oh…” You awkwardly spoke “So, you heard everything?” You cringed
“I heard a lot of it. Enough to know Neteyam is worth it. Now do what you gotta do. I gotta go relieve myself.” She demanded like a mother would
Your laughter echoed around. Adeline didn't realize how funny she was. You loved her. So, so much. That bitch was everything to you.
In only seconds you found yourself rushing out of the marui's door and your feet walking quickly through the warm Metkayina sand.
After a good while looking around and only seeing turquoise skinned tall Metkayina people, you finally found Neteyam. The sight of his broad, striped back did things to you. It made you remember how insanely good it felt when he was inside of you that rainy night on his hammock.
"Neteyam!" You yelled, sounding way more desperate than you had wanted to, and Neteyam rapidly turned around looked at you, his face covered with surprise
"I'm sorry! I do wanna be with you!" You spoke, breath a bit labored as you felt nervous and insecure about his reaction. The next thing you saw, you were breaking down in tears.
"Why did you refuse me, then?" Neteyam asked,  slightly angry and utterly confused
He did not understand why you had put you both through all that pain if you did love him too.
"I guess I was just afraid of finally having something beautiful in my life again, to feel safe again and then lose it. I couldn't bear to lose you. The truth is, I've had a crush on you since we first met too and I think I started to have deeper feelings for you at the party. Maybe we fell for each other at the same time" you chuckled wearily between tears, thinking that if it truly happened, it was beautiful and seemed like something out of a romantic movie
“Were you afraid that I was gonna leave you?” Neteyam asked, furrowing his hairless eyebrows
“Yes…” You shamefully confirmed.
It seemed like you only ever thought the worst of Neteyam, even though he was known to be a good man and only proved you again and again how much he cared about you.
"Why would I ever leave you if I love you? It's as simple as that, tawtute." Neteyam stated
An amazed smile was born amidst your tears and your heart sped up as your brain processed those words.
"Are you saying you… love me?" It still seemed too good to be true.
"I'm saying I love you more than you will ever know, syulang." Neteyam walked closer to you and tried to touch your hand
You backed away slightly and he felt frustrated. Even as you declared your love for him you were still so guarded. Neteyam let out an impatient breath out of his feline nostrils.
“Tawtute, please, be my mate.” He asked you once again, his heart open to you once again.
“But what about tsaheylu? You can’t make it with me! What if you one day realize you regret missing out on this experience? It’s such an important thing to your people…” You let out a choked sob as you pronounced those words that felt like a stab in the heart
“Not again with the excuses…” Neteyam thought
“Listen” Neteyam asked for your attention “I do not care if you don’t have tendrils and we can’t make tsaheylu. What’s even the point of tsaheylu if I can’t make it with the girl I love? Tsaheylu is about sharing your affection, your devotion, your need with your mate and I don’t need or want anyone else but you, tawtute.”
You kept sobbing and just couldn't seem to stop.
Neteyam grabbed you and held you inside his strong, long arms, one of his hands on the back of your head, pressing it against his body and the other on your shoulder. His warm embrace felt reassuring.
"It's okay, oeyä tawtute. You are safe with me."
After a while holding you like that, he gently pushed you away from him and held your chin up so you could look at his face.
"I won't ever leave you. I promise you, with the Great Mother as my witness, I will never ever let you go. I'm yours forever. I have been yours for so long…" He gave you a calm smile and wiped your tears away
Your gleaming eyes gazed up at his face. He was so beautiful, his dark blue stripes forming intricate pattern on his forehead, a pattern unique to his body. His bioluminescent freckles adorned his big face and shone slightly even in the light of day. You were so damn lucky to have such a beautiful man be so deeply in love with you.
“So, what's it gonna be?” Neteyam's big thumb caressed your reddened face as his lips were curled in a gentle smile, showing no teeth “Can I finally get an “yes” from your beautiful lips?”
You chuckled and smiled big.
“Yes.” Neteyam's heart swelled with affection and relief “Yes, I'm gonna be your mate, Neteyam.”
“Nga yawne lu oer, oeyä tawtute.” (I love you, my human) Neteyam grabbed your face that was tiny inside his two big hands and kissed you eagerly, his lips pressing against yours like he had been needing that for so long.
Neteyam had been dreaming awake every night about how it would feel if he ever got to kiss your small mouth again. His tongue touched the slit of your mouth, deliciously warm and wet and you parted your lips so he could explore the insides of your mouth. Neteyam's large tongue licked your tongue and you moaned in delight at the sensation. You had missed his kisses so damn much… Neteyam tasted your mouth like you were the sweetest berry juice in the whole Universe.
“I missed your lips and your tongue, syulang. I was craving you.”  Neteyam said and softly placed a last peck in your lips
“I missed you too. A lot.” You smiled at him, still tasting him on your tongue "I love you too." Neteyam smiled at you when hearing those words he was dying to hear for so long.
“Come, have lunch with me, oeyä hì'i muntxate.” (my small mate)
You agreed and Neteyam took your hand inside his much bigger one, taking you to the place where the na'vi were handling food to each other.
Many curious blue eyes looked at the both of you as Neteyam possessively held you by your waist and talked to you gently.
“I'm gonna get some fish and herbs for us, okay?” He smiled happily at you, like he either didn't notice or didn't care about how all the Metkayina at that part of the reef seemed to be watching yours and Neteyam's every move.
Quickly he grabbed the fish and took you to some rocks away from everyone else, what made you let out a relieved silent breath.
You two ate your fish, that had been prepared on a bonfire - it tasted delicious, by the way. Slightly spicy but also with fresh notes of something that reminded you of peppermint. Alien food was better than you had ever anticipated while you prepared on Earth to travel to Pandora.
"By the way, I'm sorry about your arm. I bet it hurt a lot…" You brought it up, after swallowing a mouthful of fish
"Not that much. I'm strong." He played around but Neteyam truly wanted you to see him as a strong na'vi male. He knew it was boyish but he did it anyway.
He won a quick joyful chuckle from you.
"I was gonna tell you that yesterday but I guess I got too nervous and then too emotional and I ended up forgetting to. I'm sorry, I think I tend to seem self-centered sometimes…" You spoke
"Don't worry about it. You do seem aloof and a little self-centered" You scoffed in a joking manner at his bluntness but you actually said “Ouch!” on the inside.
Damn, Neteyam truly knew how to humble someone...
“But I know that's not who you really are. People just have to take enough time to get to know you and they'll see what I see."
"And what do you see?" Your eyes shone with wonder and your voice was playful
"I see a smart, strong, sensitive and amazingly beautiful girl."
Your cheeks turned red. You weren't expecting so much praise.
“Ok, stop… I'm not all that.” You awkwardly stated, avoiding his gaze
“Of course you are. I don't know why you can't see it, tawtute.”
Maybe because you hadn't heard that a lot throughout your life…
To be fair, you had been called beautiful and smart many times but not the other two. Kate and Adeline would tell you that you were strong when you needed to hear it but you always wondered if they perhaps just said that because they were your closest, best friends and they only wanted to make you feel better.
𓇼
After lunch, Neteyam sneaked out with you and took you to a private place on the beach where his hammock was hanging, somewhere more secluded, where the both of you could be alone. You knew just what he wanted and you could not lie and say that you were not craving the exact same thing.
Neteyam took you in his arms, winning a squeaky laugh from you as he lift you off your feet.
Neteyam sat you on his big hammock, your legs hanging in the air and not touching the clear sand. He knelt in front of you and before you knew it, he was kissing you. Neteyam eagerly took your lower lip between his soft, full lips, suckling on it ever so slightly and then pressing his mouth against yours. Neteyam's huge blue hands cupped both your breasts over your white cropped top and you whimpered in pleasure.
"Oeyä tawtute…" he cried out "Let me see these titties" his mouth hanged slightly open with anticipation and desire
Once you let him take your bra off, Neteyam groaned in an animalistic, primal way.
"These perfect soft titties are mine now, oeyä muntxate. Only mine."
"Yours, Neteyam." You breathed, so taken by him and the moment. Your panties were slick with your juices, so much he turned you on.
Neteyam laid you down gently but eagerly on his hammock. He wasted no time and quickly brought his lips to your breasts. He had been dreaming of that ever since the first time he saw your breasts jiggle under your shirt when you were walking fast, troubled with your scientist work. Your boobs were just so different from the na'vi females ones and it made Neteyam daydream about how it would feel to have your small buds inside his mouth.
Neteyam sucked on your nipples like he was hungry and desperate to taste your skin. He licked your sensitive buds swiftly, leaving them hard and wet with his saliva. All you could do was look down at his mesmerizing blue face, staring at his bioluminescent little freckles and moan loud. You started to worry if people could hear but you decided it was not important if they did or not and you just did not care. That intimate, raw moment you were having with your Neteyam was much more important than anything else in the Universe.
He started using his fangs to tease your breasts slowly and you whimpered at the sting but also enjoyed the bittersweet pleasure it gave you.
“If you want me to stop, just say it, oeyä tawtute.”
“No. Keep doing it, please” You asked
Neteyam bit your right breast harder this time and you moaned loud again. The acute feeling of his sharp fangs harassing your sensitive skin made you feel an incredible sensation that lied somewhere between discomfort and delight but that ended up just being incredibly addictive. Your folds were even more soaked by now.
“Neteyam, please, fuck me, baby” you begged “I need you.”
“Fuck, muntxate, you're so needy for me. It's so hot, yawne…” Neteyam's heavy breath collided with your skin, sending shivers all over your body
Neteyam undressed you quickly and took his loincloth off just as rapidly, his cock hard and proud, slightly curved to the side.
Neteyam took his cock in his hand and rubbed his swollen tip on your glistening clit, making your body tremble.
“Neteyam… please.” You protested
“Say you want it.” He looked into your eyes, his big golden irises shining with the sight of you in front of him, his mouth in a teasing smirk. His accent drove you insane.
“Please, fuck me…” Your face showed him how desperate you were to feel him
“Do you want me to fill you up with my cock, tawtute?” He dig for more
“Yes, Neteyam, I need your big cock inside of my pussy, please, please…” It's like you couldn't take it anymore. Your cunt felt so empty without him.
After hearing those enticing words, Neteyam swiftly placed his large blue cock at your soaked entrance and pushed it all in at once, making you moan loudly in sheer, raw pleasure.
"Eywa, how I missed this pussy! Your ekxìn pussy feels so fucking good, my little tanhì." (star) Neteyam murmured as he thrusted hungrily into you, his big, girthy cock stretching your insides and filling you up completely.
Neteyam's feelings for you were just so strong that he felt like no words would ever be enough to express his emotions so, he was trying to show you how he felt about you by loving your body instead, pouring out all his yearning for you through his kisses, his desperate caresses, his thrusts…
"Tawtute" Neteyam cried out as he thrusted roughly into you "Oeyä muntxate." (my mate) "Mine. All mine, yawntu…" (loved one) He whimpered in your ear, melancholic and driven wild by his desire and ardent affection for you "Nga yawne lu oer." (I love you) "So, so much."
Neteyam's breath was heavy and irregular as he pounded himself into you as hard as he could. He needed you so much, he felt like he would die if he could not have all of you, if he could not claim you once and for all. It was so good that he didn't last long and came inside of you, his thick warm seed shooting strongly towards your womb. He hoped to breed you but he didn't know you were taking birth control pills. Neteyam's load of cum was so big that it leaked out of your cunt even as he was still inside of you. That was so dirty and sexy that your pussy clenched around his cock as you felt his warm liquid leaking out of your stretched entrance.
After cuddling for a while, when you were looking to find your bra that Neteyam had thrown somewhere in the sand, he looked at your breasts, the two of them full of his bite marks and a big beautiful smile adorned his full lips, followed by a joyful chuckle.
“I marked you well, syulang. Now everybody can see that you're mine. Oeyä muntxate. Mine forever.” He leaned in for a kiss, pressing his soft lips on yours, so needy. Neteyam tasted so sweet but so unique at the same time. He tasted like himself. Nothing else could compare.
You chuckled. “You're so pervy.”
“But you love it.” He smiled at you, his sharp fangs more charming than ever
“Hey! Just because I'm your mate now it doesn't mean you get to be all cocky again.” You teased, pretending to be angry, as you pushed his arm away with your hand
Neteyam only smiled wider. He was over the moon that you were now finally his. All his. Until the end of time.
Neteyam yawned, body still in full bliss because of the powerful orgasm you had given him.
“I'm sleepy, oeyä tawtute. Take a nap with me.” He was already grabbing you in his big striped arms and laying you back on the hammock with him.
“You're not giving me a choice, anyway.” You chuckled and yawned too.
Soon your tired eyes fell shut, as you felt his warm breath on your skin.
𓇼
In the middle of the afternoon, you woke up crying, desperately breathing gasping for air. Neteyam woke up startled with your panicking state. Another nightmare... One of those that left your heart aching and your mind confused for long after you woke up, wondering if it had been reality or not.
“What's wrong, yawntu?” (loved one)
When you realized Neteyam was by your side, still holding you against his warm body, you felt relieved but only seemed to cry more. You buried your head on his soft chest and he just let you cry there, petting your head softly with his hand, his slender fingers running through your locks of hair every now and then, trying to comfort you.
Eventually you stopped crying, sniffing one last time. You placed a kiss on Neteyam's chest, your lips lingering on his skin for longer than they normally would, as if to try and make sure that he was really there with you, that he was real and was not going away.
“Wanna tell me what happened now, oeyä muntxate?” (my mate)
You looked up at his face, eyes reddish.
“I had a terrible nightmare…” just the reminder made your heart ache again “I dreamt you left me. You got tired of me and found a better mate.”
“Tawtute… that's never gonna happen.”
“You promise?” You needed to hear him promise…
“I promise.” He tried to kiss you but you backed away a bit
“What if your parents don't approve of us? Will you leave me then?” You hated how clingy and annoying you were sounding
Neteyam started thinking that he would have to have an endless amount of patience with you. Your fear controlled you way too often. He would have to teach you how to be a little more free. But he would do it gladly.
"Listen, yawntutsyìp" (little loved one) Neteyam held your small face inside of both his huge blue hands "We will fight whatever we have to, whatever comes our way, and we will stay together forever, okay? I'm not letting anything separate me from you. Nothing, you hear me? Nothing." He promised you.
You breathed in and decided you had to try and believe him, otherwise you would end up sabotaging your relationship with Neteyam, you would end up contributing to what you feared the most: him leaving you. What you did not know was that there was actually nothing you could do to drive Neteyam away. He had been chasing you for way too long, he had fought for you like he had fought in the war against the Sky People. Neteyam was too much of a good warrior and too proud to let you go after all that. And damn, he could not imagine a life without you. Not a life where he would be happy and fulfilled, at least. He needed you to see the morning air as fresh, to hear the song of the birds as lively, to see the light of the stars as a guide.
“Okay. I trust you, Neteyam.” You stated, utterly sure of your words this time.
𓇼
♡ Epilogue ♡
You felt safe for the first time in so long while Neteyam held you inside his big arms, his body heat spreading all over you. It felt so cozy and just so… right. Like you had finally found what you needed, what you were unconsciously looking for all along.
Safety, trust, shelter… love.
Funny how sometimes when we need love the most is when we push it away the most, hurt the people who are trying to give it to us the most because we're so terrified to get hurt again, to finally trust and be let down again that we would rather keep drowning in our pain and in our loneliness. Pain can feel comfortable, as crazy as it sounds.
Turn a curse into a kiss
You could have never seen it coming, you could have never imagined back on your Earth days that your safe place to fall would be in the arms of an alien in an exoplanet, outside of your home solar system. What a weird happy ending. But it doesn't matter. There's still much more to come. This isn't the end, it's just the beginning.
𓇼
Change the meaning of your world
Love makes no sense, love has no name
Love drowns you in tears and it sets your heart on fire
Love has no fear, love has no reason
So infinitely vast and we're standing at the edge
Take my hand, erase the past forever
Love Exists (Amy Lee)
𓇼
This is the end, guys 🥲🤍 Feels so good to give Teyam and Reader a beautiful happy ending. Thank you all so much for reading my story 💕

Read under the cut:
You and Neteyam had been together for six months. And, undoubtedly, they were the best six months of your life. He was so affectionate, something that took you a little while to get used to, especially in front of others.
But recently you’ve wanted to take it that one step further, but you just didn’t know how. And it was really, really bothering you. Neteyam wasn’t pushy, but he wasn’t shy the same way you were shy. The two of you spoke about anything and everything. He’s helped you explore a lot of intimacy that you felt like you were missing out on. Heated kisses, open talks, and sometimes Neteyam would write you filthy letters about how he thought about you, how he dreamed about you. And you wished you could return the favour.
You sighed deeply, pricking yourself with your beading needle again. You were so frustrated. In every sense of the word.
“What’s on your mind? C’mon spit it out.” Kiri said sharply, still busy with her own beading. You were grateful for Kiri, always. She always stood by you, no matter what. And, where others may drift apart in the situation you two were in, your relationship with Neteyam did nothing but bring you and Kiri closer together. She was practically your sister now.
But you didn’t know if talking about this, about your sexual frustration with Neteyam, was apropriate conversation to have with your best friend.
“Nothing, I am just lost in my thoughts today.” You tried to dismiss it, and swallow it down. Though you could feel the blush spreading across your body, and the fire of embarrassment spread between the valley of your breasts.
Kiri spat out a sarcastic laugh. “Uh huh, you’ve been lost in your thoughts for days then.” Kiri tossed her beading to the ground. The two of you sat outside, in the grass soaking up the sunlight.
“I don’t know what you could possibly mean.” You said, more focused on your beading now than ever. You were beading a new bodice for a clan dance in a few eclipses time.
“Okay, so its obviously about Neteyam then.” Kiri started, you threw your beading at her while a small smirk graced her lips.
She was still your best friend, you just didn’t want to burden her with uncomfortable knowledge.
“(y/n) you can tell me anything, I won’t be mad, even if its gross.” Kiri assured you, you felt her eyes burning into the side of your head as you covered your face with your hands. Eywa, you were so embarrassing and naive and stupid.
You knew Neteyam loved you, and in turn, he is an incredible man. He would never think less of your innocence or your shyness.
But your own brain enjoyed the act of self-sabotage, and you often could not help but to think the lack of sex life was due to your lack of appeal.
“You have to promise me not to get grossed out!” You say, pulling your hands away from your face, holding Kiri’s eyeline. You knew you were a blushing mess, riddled with anxiety and nausea.
“I promise! I’m not a child, and I’m not Lo’ak.” She quipped. You chuckled and you tried to put your heart back down in your chest from where it had risen to your throat.
“Well, Neteyam and I have been together for awhile…” You started playing with your long braids, nervously. Kiri urged you on. “We have been together for awhile, and I love him, you know I do-”
“Trust me, everyone knows you do.” You ignored Kiri’s interjection, soldiering on.
“-And I don’t expect us to form a bond anytime soon, of course but…” You felt the burning sensation under your skin, your blood was too loud and the day too bright, everything was causing a sensory malfunction.
“But what?” Kiri was kind, and she never pushed you further than necessary.
“Well, I would like to mate with him but I’m so scared and I don’t know how to ask, let alone do anything remotely sexual and I’m afraid Neteyam knows this and that’s why we haven’t done anything yet and I’m just stupid so I would get his hesitancy-”
Kiri cut your rambling off, laughing. Throwing her head back in the sun, you could see all the stripes that ran across her neck, hiding under necklaces and her com.
“Have you just asked him?” She asked plainly, once she collected herself.
You were shocked - just ask him, was she crazy?
“Well, no I haven’t.” You mumbled, fetching your beadwork from Kiri’s lap, and finding solace in the distraction.
“That’s where you start, (y/n). There’s no shame in not knowing.” Kiri said softly, sensing your unease. She went back to her own beadwork and did not bring it up again.
You knew Neteyam would be back any minute. You sat, still working on the fine beading in your new tent given to you as a step into your adulthood. You enjoyed living away from your parents, the solace and independence. But, Neteyam knew you got lonley and stayed with you most nights.
Tonight was one of those nights. And, Neteyam always comes to you as soon as he finishes his duties.
You were just going to ask him, like Kiri said.
That was no big deal, right? You did not know what you were going to say, you were going to ‘go with the flow’ like Jake says sometimes.
This ‘flow’ made you feel like you were drowning.
Soft lips on your forehead snapped you out of your whirlpool thoughts.
“My love are you alright? I’ve been talking to you for a minute or two now.” Neteyam said softly, holding both your cheeks in his hands. His eyes scanned your face to find a trace of what was bothering you, your face flushed under his intense stare.
“I’m sorry Neteyam, there’s been a lot on my mind recently.” You said, smiling. Neteyam took the bait, removing his hands from your face, sitting across from you on the floor, legs crossed.
“Tell me about it my lovely girl.” Neteyam said, reaching out for one of your hands. Partially because he craved your touch, and partially to distract you from your beading. He had missed you all day, and did not want to share your attention with some beads.
You sighed softly, taking his hand. Everytime you looked at Neteyam his stomach flipped, he felt butterflies and fell in love all over again, everytime. He did not miss the bright blush that burned across your high cheekbones and nose, and that dipped down into the valley of your breasts. He knew his eyes lingered there for a beat too long, but you did not notice.
“Neteyam I am embarrassed to ask you this,” His heart dropped into the field of butterflies in his stomach. “But, do you want to have sex with me?”
He must’ve heard you wrong. His head snapped to yours, finding you looking up at him through your thick lashes, innocently.
“What?” The word fell from his mouth before he could reel it back in. And, you were quick to jump to the defensive, afraid of upsetting him, of offending him.
“We do not have to obviously, as I know I am not experienced and maybe that is not what you’re after but-”
The low growl came from Neteyam’s chest. ‘No experience’ was just a polite term for ‘no one else's’. As far as Neteyam was concerned, if another male looked at you for too long it was reasonable grounds for a fight.
“You want to have sex with me?” Neteyam asked, he felt all the blood rush in-between his legs. The conversation alone was enough for him. He has wanted you for so long, for too long. But he would never, ever make you operate outside your own terms.
You smiled, the fleeting confidence that he provided you swelling in your chest.
“I would want nothing more, my Neteyam.”
The kiss was hot, and striking. His hands cupped your face, like they had done not all that long ago, but this time, he laid you down, your back to the floor. His strong, muscular frame leaning over you, your chests touching, and one of his knees had found his way between your legs. His tongue wiped your lips, a gentle way to ask for permission. You gave it to him, his tongue fought yours for dominance, briefly, until you submitted to him, like you always did.
You were still fully clothed, Neteyam too, but the heat was insurmountable. His knee was far from your clothed cunt, but the anticipation caused slick to gather there all the same.
He pulled away from the kiss, you were thankful for the air but you craved the feeling of him so close.
“My love you have to tell me if you don’t like something, or if you don’t feel comfortable or if you change your mind, ok?” He whispered into your ear, you nodded, words failing you. “No, use your words babygirl, let me hear you.” Neteyam left paperlight kisses under your ear, and moved to your jaw.
“Okay.” You said, breathless, barely above a whisper.
“Good girl.” Neteyam kissed down the column of your neck, sucking and biting. His cainines taking your sweet flesh and leaving dark, purple marks in his wake. Everyone would know who you belonged to now. If there was any doubt before, there would never be again.
Neteyam’s left hand was still cradling the side of your face, while his right played with the skin at your waist, rubbing up and down, teasing the skin underneath the hem of your beaded top. As he continued the assault on your neck, down to your chest and the straps of your coverings laid, you felt the tip of his tail caress your thigh, his own knee moving up to find your wet core.
You couldn’t help but moan at all the stimulus. You felt Neteyam stop for a microsecond, but it was enough for you to feel embarrassed, you quickly covered your mouth with your hand, stifling anything else that may humiliate you.
He pulled away from your chest, leaning over you to look you in the eye, his free hand that had been playing with the hem of your shirt came up to pull your hand away. He placed your hand on his toned, flexing chest.
“No. No, I want to hear you, don’t be embarrassed.” His thumb swiped across your lip and in an act of lust-induced insanity you opened your mouth and sucked on it. “Never hide from me, my love.” Neteyam smiled lightly, his eyes fluttering closed, he pressed his hips against your own.
You felt how hard he was against you, your internal walls clenched against nothing, but you felt how soaked your loincloth had become. Neteyam let out his own deep moan.
“Do you feel me, babygirl? Do you feel what you do to me?” His voice had changed, deep and commanding and alluring.
It was all too much. You felt the coil in the base of your stomach tightening.
“Answer me, sweetheart.” Neteyam whispered as he ground into you, his lips attaching themselves to your already bruised neck. Both his hands making quick work of removing your top, discarding it with no care.
“Yes, yes, I-” Your breath hitched as his mouth found your nipple, rolling the sensitive bud around in his mouth. “I want to feel you inside, Neteyam.” You said bravely, shutting your eyes, you could not control the nonsense that fell from your mouth. You were too fucked out and barely anything had happened yet. It was embarrassing.
He wanted you nonetheless.
Neteyam could not help but growl when the sweet words fell from your plush, beautiful lips. He removed himself from your swollen nipple. He took you in, looking at all of you. Your body had a light sheen of sweat, your head was rolled back, lips parted- mewling. You were everything to him.
Netyam did not hesitate in removing your loincloth as quick as his nimble fingers would allow, sliding the fabric down your legs he took the time to squeeze your thighs and calves. He wanted to consume you, every part. Mind, body and soul, Neteyam would never stop wanting you. He supposed that made him selfish. But, Neteyam had never asked for anything in his whole life, save for you. And, he would be completely satisfied in his existence in this life if all he had was you.
“Can I taste you my love?” Neteyam asked, using one of his hands to part your legs, wider, his other was massaging the flesh of your thigh. He saw your sopping cunt for the first time and fuck, Neteyam felt wasted. Absolutely toatled. His dick strained against his own covering, twitching at the sight.
Stunning.
You nodded, giving him permission. Neteyam pinched your inner thigh, making you squeal in surprise, raising your head slightly you squinted at him. “Words, babygirl. I know you know how to use ‘em.”
“Taste me, honey. I want whatever you want me to want.” You laid your head back down of the floor of your home, desperate for friction your bare hips bucked upward, and you could’ve sworn you heard Neteyam’s breath hitch.
He wasted no time in exploring your most private heat. Neteyam ate you like a man starved, your moans doing nothing but spurring him on.
You wanted to save your first orgasm for his dick, but Neteyam licked and sucked, one of his hands had found your clitoris, and you felt that tight coil in your stomach begin to snap. Instinctively, your hand flew to his hair, nestling in his braids as he hit a certain spot. Back arching, you began to unravel, and unravel quickly.
“Neteyam, I can’t, I’m going to-” You began to apologise about your approaching orgasam, embarrassed that you could not save it for when he was inside. His fingers worked quickly on your clit, as he pulled his mouth away briefly.
“Cum for me, my darling girl.” His husky voice sent a shock through your body, his fingers never stalling, his tongue found your heat again, licking, stroking, tasting. His words were enough for you.
You felt your walls clench, squirting around his sucking mouth, he drew it from you, swallowing it down. You felt him smiling against you, against your shaking, heavily breathing frame.
Neteyam came up, his arms extended on either side of your head, your felt his hard-on ground into your naked form, his loincloth would be stained from your wetness. You began to come down from your high, Neteyam captured your eyeline. You stared at him, and his smirk, a bead of your own cum on the side of his mouth. You threw your hands over your eyes and face in embarrassment, you couldn’t help it. You felt like you should’ve lasted longer than you did.
Neteyam loosed a breathy chuckle watching you hide behind your hands, while your shatteringly-beautiful and so very naked form laid under him.
“Don’t hide sweetheart, I need to see your face baby.” You shook your head in reply, keeping your hands firmly placed against your face. “I see you. I see you despite the fact that you’re too embarrassed to look at me.” Neteyam’s voice was hoarse, his words raw, and you could do nothing but look at him then.
See him.
Feel him.
Love him,
Entirely.
He smiled when he saw your warm eyes again. And, you knew you were done. Totaled, even.
“I see you.” You spoke softly, worried that if you were any louder this would all fade into nothingness.
He captured you in a strong, burning kiss. And you giggled at the face that you could taste yourself on his lips.
You decided that you would not be embarrassed around Neteyam anymore.

Star-crossed | Lo'ak x fem!human!reader pt. 2
Tumblr media
Part two of my Lo'ak x reader fic (you can find part 1 here), also posted on @lucozadehulahoop. Trying to post all of my avatar stuff on this account, so follow me on here like the 7 badasses who already have done so! Thank you all so much for the love, this story is ongoing so let me know if you want to be on the tag list. I will be getting to some requests next! Unfortunately, it is exam season for me y'all, but keep the requests coming because writing keeps me sane.
part 3 part 4
Warnings: once again, both Lo'ak and the reader are 20y/o, and there will be eventual mature stuffs, MINORS DO NOT INTERACT with this or anything on my accounts.
words: 1K
summary: reader is a human left behind on pandora, she grew up with the remaining humans who'd been aloud to stay on the planet after the war and has been friends with the Sully clan her entire life. She and Lo'ak were best friends until he began to pull away from her in their teen years for seemingly no reason. This story is about them reconnecting on the day of her twentieth birthday, and dealing with the feelings they have for each other and the obstacles that come with them being from two different worlds.
Translations for this chapter:
Ngaru lu fpom srak? = Are you alright?
Eywa ngahu = (May) Eywa be with you
Y/n stepped outside the bunker and turned around the corner. Lo'ak was there, after all, hastily trying to get up and off his ass before she could see him. He cussed, giving himself away, but only managed to get back up on his knees, before freezing in his tracks. He hadn't seen her face to face in so long, he didn't know what to do with himself. Why was it so hard for him to even say a word all of a sudden? Lo'ak felt like he couldn't breathe.
The sunlight had gone, but now the entirety of the forest was a glow with the night, along with the 'freckles' on the Na'vi's skin, making him look like a constellation come to life. Y/n could see it: how much taller Lo'ak had grown since the last time she'd seen him. He'd also filled out his lanky features a little more; she imagined it was due to all of that training Jake and Neytiri put their kids through. "Hey..." she hugged herself, not really dressed for the cold air of the night. "Ngaru lu fpom srak?" She asked in concern, but he simply stared back at her. "Are you hurt? Is something out there...?"
"I'm fine." Lo'ak managed finally, and y/n looked away.
That was all he had to say to her after all those years?
All of a sudden, Y/n felt stupid and naive. Who was to say he'd come to see her on purpose? It had just been her own wishful thinking playing tricks on her. With how much of a clutz she remembered Lo'ak being, he'd most likely just fallen out of a tree by accident. She'd just wanted to check he wasn't in any immediate danger.
"Well." She quipped. "If there's nothing I can do for you, Eywa ngahu." Y/n bid him goodnight, and Lo'ak had to bite his tongue to stop himself from calling out to her. He'd made the mess they were in, and now y/n probably thought he'd shown up just to mess with her head. Eywa knew, he hadn't meant for y/n to see him. He'd just wanted to get a glimpse of her, tired of hearing his family constantly talking about her with him no longer being a part of her life.
By his own fault, nobody else's, as Neteyam had said.
But no, it wasn't just that. What did his brother know? What did any of them understand of the pain he was in? He was in love with a human. With his best friend. Someone who could never want back him the same way he did. Someone so infuriatingly understanding and accepting of him, she'd just talked to him with the same kindness and patience in her eyes as she'd done since they'd been kids together. As if he hadn't thrown it all back in her face. As if the past four years had never happened.
Why couldn't she just hate him?
"You know what—" He started, but was immediately cut off.
The second y/n was a about to turn away and walk the other direction, a blood curling growl was heard from the not so far away distance, and she immediately reached out for Lo'ak, who was about to run his mouth as always. Too distracted with what was going on in his own head to see the danger around him. He'd knelt down to her level, which made shutting his mouth a lot easier.
Y/n hadn't even thought about the fact that she'd basically pinned the Na'vi against the outside wall of her home, as if she could shield him from whatever hell was out there, until she could feel his laboured breath against her skin.
Something was moving out there, and that was all she could think about.
"I-N-S-I-D-E." She signed across the plane of his chest. "N-O-W." y/n looked into Lo'ak's yellow eyes to see if he'd understood that they would have to reasume talking another time.
She leaned against his side, guiding them slowly through the dark, when suddenly the damn fool decided to hoist her up and start running. It didn't fail to alert the Thanator that had been out prowling nearby for a midnight snack. Y/n dug her nails into Lo'ak's skin, probably drawing blood, and struggled to keep quiet as they got through the door. She yanked the Na'vi inside with her, not trusting Lo'ak not to do something stupid like stand outside and fight the apex predator of the forests of Pandora.
"Shit, shit, shit‐"
"Shut. Up." They snapped at each other in the dark in hushed tones.
She put out all the lights and they both lay down on the floor, holding onto each other as they listened to the beast's heavy paws prowl the grounds just outside her door, along with the slight snarl it made every time it exhaled. Lo'ak held her close, maybe a little too tight, while his other hand went to his dagger.
If the Thanator did decide it was going to attack the bunker until it got through, Lo'ak was going to throw himself at it with everything he had. He wanted to say everything he hadn't told y/n up until that point, realizing how cruel it would be for either one of them to die thinking their once best friend hated them. Y/n saw the Thanator's shadow on her kitchen floor as it passed by the window, and closed her eyes, pressing her forehead against Lo'ak's shoulder.
"Eywa, please, not him. He is he one of your people... I'll do anything. Please..." She chanted, mustering up her best Na'vi as tears began to stream down her face.
Y/n couldn't believe it. She actually was praying. Not that she didn't believe Eywa was a very real goddess. Y/n simply didn't think humans had the right to ask anything of the Mother of Pandora. Yet she meant it, wholeheartedly. She would have repaid any debt in exchange for Lo'ak safety, knowing full well that the words that were leaving her mouth were not to be taken lightly.
And Lo'ak knew it too.
He was the one to muffle her ramblings this time, covering her mouth with his overly large hand, eyes wide with fear, and his ears now pointed backward. Y/n had just vouched for his life to be saved at any price.
What have you done?
Lo'ak wanted to scream at her, and he knew she could see it in his eyes. Y/n didn't care.
Her prayers had just been answered and the Thanator was gone.

Neteyam always knew that he was expected to mate with someone else. What he never knew, though, is that you would come along and change his mind.
pairing: Neteyam x Omaticaya!reader
warnings: out of character jake and neytiri possibly, not proofread
authors note: thank you all for so much love on my avatar fics! i am working through the requests slowly but surely. Thank you guys for all being so patient with me!
Neteyam, Kanani, and Y/n are all around 18 in this.
Tumblr media
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・
Since that day Neteyam was born, he was expected to mate with Kanani. Nobody ever said it, but he knew. The way his mother would urge him to talk to her, and how every time they were together the other Na’vi would smile and whisper in each other’s ear. He knew this ever since he was little, but he never expected Y/n to come along and change his mind.
A couple weeks ago, Jake and Neteyam got on their ikrans and flew up to a private place, away from the village. Jake told Neteyam how he needed to find a mate and start courting someone. And, that the preferred someone would be Kanani. She was from an established family in the clan, and they had been expected mates since they were young. But Neteyam didn’t want Kanani. He wanted Y/n. All he wanted was Y/n. But he couldn’t tell his father that. His answer to Jake was that he just wasn’t ready.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・
You had just gotten back from a hunt, and it had lasted almost all day. You were exhausted, but when you saw Neteyam you perked up almost immediately. You knew it was wrong to have feelings for him. But you couldn’t help yourself. He was sweet, and he had a beautiful smile. You loved how protective he was of everyone, especially his family. You loved all of him.
The whole clan was together at a bonfire. You were seated next to Tuk, and Kanani and Neteyam were across from you. You were talking to Tuk about her latest “hunt”. She was so proud of the little fish she caught, and you thought it was just adorable. You thought Neteyam was busy talking with Kanani, but he was really busy looking at you. He loved how good you were with children. He admired your ability to get along with anyone. You treated everyone like whatever they were saying mattered. It was his favorite thing about you.
“So, Neteyam. How was the hunt today, hm?” Kanani tried starting a more successful conversation with the boy. He looked over at her and nodded, humming. It wasn’t much of a response. She noticed his eyes were on you. She had notcied a long time ago. “Hey…Neteyam.” She looked at him more sternly, truly trying to get his attention. “I know. I know that you love her.” Neteyam was shocked. He hid it well, or atleast he thought. “So go. Go be with her. I know you’ll be happy.” All he could do was nod in response. A silent thank you.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*:・゚✧*:・
A couple of weeks later, Neteyam came and found you while you were picking flowers in a pasture. You planned to rebraid your hair later, and you thought the flowers would be a nice touch. You were not expecting him, in fact, you hadn’t seen him in a week or two. You thought it was wierd that he was being so distant, but you didn’t say anything. You knew his coming of age ceremony had happened, so you assumed he had mated and was pulling away from you. Oh, how wrong you were about that.
Neteyam tapped your shoulder slowly. “Y/n, hi. I want to talk.” You turned around, suprised. “Hi, ‘Teyam. What’s wrong?” You asked, placing your handful of different wildflowers down in the grass. He looked worried. Neteyam is a pretty calm person, so this shocked you. You placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. “Oh, nothing. I just..” Neteyam hesitated, “I need to talk to you about something.” He took your hand suddenly and leaded you to a more secluded place.
When you two moved to a new place, Neteyam sat down and he patted the place next to him. You sat where his hand was. “What’s on your mind, ‘Teyam?” You turned to him with a comforting look in your eyes. You searched his eyes for some form of comfort. He seemed to be trying to find a way to speak, but so far he had come up with nothing.
“I’m just going to say it, okay? I like you. I like you a lot, Y/n. I want to mate with you. We can spend the rest of our lives together. And i’m sorry I haven’t spoken to you in so long, I just needed time to tell you. You are special, Y/n. You’re kind and sweet. You’re one of the most beautiful Na’vi i’ve ever met. I’m in love with you.” Neteyam spilled it all out, right in front of you. You had to stop the smile from creeping up onto your face. You studied Neteyam’s features as he spoke. The way his eyes stared into yours with so much love. How he spoke so highly of you, when you were sure you were not even half as good as he said. But you knew you loved him too. Ewya has a plan, they always say. But now you knew it was true.
“Neteyam, Neteyam..” You said calmly, trying to stop his nervous ramblings. When he stopped, it felt like all of Pandora was quiet. It was just you two. “I love you too, just, what about Kanani? Aren’t you meant to mate with her?” You said with a look of sincerity in your eyes. You considered Kanani a freind, and you didn’t want to hurt her. But you also loved Neteyam. “I know. And i’ve talked to her. But the truth is, Y/n, i’ve been in love with you the whole time.” You smiled so big Neteyam thought you were lighting up the sky. You flung your arms around his shoulders in a hug. You had waited for this moment your whole life. Neteyam had his hand in your cheek, caressing it gently. When you pulled away from the hug, he looked deeply into your eyes. You closed the gap between you two and met his lips in a kiss. It was caring, and deep. You never thought a kiss could mean anything this important til you kissed Neteyam.

NOT MY PICS!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ocean. Ocean during the night. Dark, deep, and full of stories. But at the same time so beautiful.
Like Y/N's eyes.
When Neteyam first saw Y/N's eyes, they reminded him of the ocean.
‿︵‿︵୨˚̣̣̣͙୧ - - ୨˚̣̣̣͙୧‿︵‿︵
Y/N was sitting on the sand, her feet deep in the sand, her gaze in the depths of the ocean.
"Come on, bro! You can't be serious! Go talk to her!” Lo'ak punched Neteyam.
"You, mighty warrior, you're afraid to talk to her? I don't believe it! I have to tell Tsireya. And Kiri. And Rotxo. And.."
Neteyam rolled his eyes. "I'm going to her, okay?! Just don't tell anyone!"
"Hmm... I'm afraid everyone already knows about it. The looks you throw at that girl are too obvious."
"Shut up!" Neteyam blushed. Damn! He wasn't as inconspicuous as he thought.
Lo'ak cheerfully gave him a thumbs up. Neteyam rolled his eyes for the hundredth time and signaled his brother to go away.
He slowly walked towards the beautiful girl.
Y/N was sad. She didn't want to be, but she was slowly getting to the age where everyone had a mate. Only she didn't. No one came to her.
And she knew very well why.
'Y/N! That's not true and you know it! You'll meet the right one someday, I promise!' she remembered what Tsireya had told her years ago. And she didn't find the right one.
"My child, Eywa knows what she's doing,' Ronal once told her as Y/N was helping her. 'Don't be sad,'
'I'm not sad. But I can't help it, sometimes it happens to me,' she sighed and continued. 'Ronal, it's probably not meant to be,'
'Don't say that!' Ronal took her hand sternly and looked into her eyes. 'Do you remember what Ìzau'ite once said? That you have a beautiful life ahead of you. That one day someone will come who will love you just the way you are,'
Y/N had tears in her eyes. 'It's just an omen, Ronal. And I'm sorry to burden you with this.'
'You never bother me, Y/N. Just believe, okay? Don't be sad.'
Don't be sad. Y/N kept repeating it to herself. Don't be sad.
She flinched when someone touched her shoulder. That rarely happened, everyone knew that Y/N liked to be not disturbed on nights like this.
She turned and saw Neteyam. She smiled weakly. Ah, Neteyam. She first noticed him when he arrived with his family. She was curious about them and he immediately caught her eye. He seemed so cute to her. What shocked her was that she also caught him looking at her. She was never the center of anyone's interest. Then she smiled shyly at him and walked away.
He looked at her several times. Sometimes he even smiled. But he never came to see her, so Y/N had no reason to worry.
Until now.
"I'm sorry I scared you. I just wanted to introduce myself. I am Neteyam and you are?” she read his lips.
Why did he come to see her? Did he not know she was deaf?
"Will you tell me your name or will I have to find it out myself?"
Ah. No, he didn't know.
Y/N picked up a stick and started writing in the sand. Neteyam watched her curiously. She hasn't said a word yet. Was she shy?
MY NAME IS Y/N. NICE TO MEET YOU.
Neteyam stared at the sand. “Y/N. Nice to meet you too,"
Y/N watched him with her eyes and wrote in the sand:
DO YOU KNOW OUR FINGER TALK?
She knew that Neteyam had told Ao'nung that he didn't understand their "finger talk" underwater. But it had been a long time since he said that. He might have learned it by then.
Neteyam wrote in the sand:
A BIT. WHY?
Y/N sighed. Will she tell him? That she's deaf? To make him leave? Like everyone else?
She was silent for a while, looking at the ocean. Who knows how it sounds? What does the ocean sound like? That was her biggest question. What does the ocean sound like?
'Neteyam, it's because..' she started motioning to him when someone pushed Neteyam away. Ao'nung.
"What are you doing here?! Let her!” Ao'nung shouted.
"I didn't do anything to her, I swear! Where did you get that?!” Neteyam didn't understand.
Meanwhile, Y/N stood up and pushed Ao'nung away from Neteyam.
'Ao'nung! Leave him! He didn't do anything to me, I swear!' she motioned to him.
Ao'nung growled at Neteyam. 'Why were you with him?' he asked her.
'Because I came to see her.' Neteyam finally understood their sign language.
Y/N looked into his eyes. 'Sorry, Ao'nung is a bit protective. And Neteyam, if you didn't get it, I'm deaf,' she motioned to him and left with that.
Neteyam was looking at her pretty back for a while. Everything suddenly made sense. He felt like an idiot.
"Neteyam, if you hurt her," Ao'nung growled.
"I won't hurt her! Why would I do that?"
"Because she is deaf! It's not easy for her,” Ao'nung looked at him sternly.
"I understand, okay, Ao'nung? You don't have to be so protective. And the fact that she is deaf does not burden me. On the contrary."
"On the contrary? What?"
"I want to know her. Y/N."
‿︵‿︵୨˚̣̣̣͙୧ - - ୨˚̣̣̣͙୧‿︵‿︵
"Hello. Sorry about yesterday," Neteyam finally found Y/N the next day.
She was just leaving Ronal.
She looked at him in surprise. 'No need to apologize. What are you doing here?'
Neteyam smiled shyly. 'I came to see you. Shall we walk?'
Y/N opened her mouth in shock. She's dreaming, right? This can't be true.
They walked along the beach and stopped at the place where they met yesterday.
Y/N looked at him. Eywa, he was so handsome. But she had to ask him: 'Why did you come to see me?'
'What do you mean? Aren't the boys going after you?'
'They don't go, Neteyam. The fact that I am deaf is a problem for them. And I'm not surprised at that.'
'Why are you throwing yourself down? Being deaf does not make you worthless. I don't see a problem with that. That's their problem. I see a beautiful girl in front of me and the fact that you are deaf makes you... uhm.. even more beautiful.'
Y/N had tears in her eyes. 'You only recently learned sign language, right? You are doing very well,' she praised him.
Neteyam smiled at her. She was beautiful. Why didn't she see that?
He really couldn't believe that no one had come up to her and asked her to be his mate yet.
‿︵‿︵୨˚̣̣̣͙୧ - - ୨˚̣̣̣͙୧‿︵‿︵
Y/N and Neteyam started meeting each other. Y/N loved evening walks. They talked for a long time. About life. About everything. Y/N didn't even want to believe it was true. It was too beautiful. Y/N also met Neteyam's family. His family always knew how to make her laugh. They were very nice. And funny. Even Ao'nung, her good loyal friend, changed his mind about Neteyam.
She liked Neteyam. He was so nice, to everyone, to everything, that it hurt. And so was Y/N.
"They found each other. They're both too good for this world,” Tsireya rested her head against Lo'ak's.
Lo'ak looked at his brother as he walked hand in hand with Y/N. “Y/N is a good girl. Sometimes I even forget that she is deaf,"
Tsireya nodded silently.
‿︵‿︵୨˚̣̣̣͙୧ - - ୨˚̣̣̣͙୧‿︵‿︵
'Do you know that your name means no end?' Y/N asked him out of nowhere.
Neteyam puzzled Y/N's nose. 'I don't know why my parents gave me name with this meaning, but I like it.'
'Me too.'
And then she asked him again. What interested her the most. 'How does the ocean sound?'
Neteyam looked at her. She was so interested. His heart sank as he realized that she would never find out.
'Beautiful,' he answered. 'The sound of the sea is beautiful. The sound of the waves makes the soul at peace.' The ocean reminded him of her. She gave him peace.
Y/N was a bit sad and Neteyam noticed it. 'But do you know what the most beautiful sound in the world is?' he asked her.
'I do not know,'
Neteyam knelt and wrote in the sand:
YOUR LAUGHTER.
Tears streamed down Y/N's face. Netaym stood up and wiped them away with his fingers. Y/N hugged him and Neteyam hugged her back.
She grabbed his hand and was about to motion to him something she had never said before.
But Neteyam stopped her. He kissed her fingertips and buried his fingers in her long hair. He kissed her forehead, cheeks, nose, and finally her mouth. Y/N closed her eyes and gave up on the gentle kiss. Eywa, it was so beautiful.
'Y/N, you don't have to hear the most beautiful things,' Neteyam placed her hand on his heart. 'You don't even have to see the most beautiful things, but you have to feel the most beautiful things.'

THE FIVE TIMES YOU SAID NETEYAM'S NAME AND THE ONE YOU COULDN'T | N.S.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
© raribella 2022, do not repost, modify or translate!
Tumblr media
summary: a super angsty take on the trope. self-explanatory I guess.
pairing: Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan x Metkayna!reader
genre: strangers to friends to lovers. angst with no happy ending.
involves: major character death, omaticaya x metkayna, learning the metkayna clan's ways, scolding, slight fluff, angst.
word count: 1,3k
notes: I wanted to write this very quickly as soon as I had the idea because I have three other Neteyam ideas (another blurb and two one-shots) but I think this one is an excellent way of launching my writing on the Avatar fandom. I adore this movie since I was 5 years old it's just so emotionally important to me and they kill off my love in the first movie of the saga I watched at the cinema?? gross. I'm not used to writing a sad ending to angsty stories but this is no fix-it fic, really, it's just me in my feels. I'm watching AWOW for the third time next Tuesday and I'm so excited!
Tumblr media
NETEYAM? – As you met with the Omaticaya family for the first time, noticing how their skin was adorned with a darker shade of blue, their eyes shined in a nearly neon shade of amber, and they had feathers and colorful seeds adorning their braids. As the Toruk Makto, known by the clan since the war told his family in a stern tone to greet your Olo'eyktan Tonowari, you repeated their eldest son's name in your mind, liking how it sounds, feeling a different pull towards the family, like Eywa herself wanted and needed you to be a part of their journey here.
IS- IS NETEYAM HERE? – As you asked for the boy in front of the mauri the Sullys had accepted for themselves. It was shy, you were starting to get to know each other as you helped Tsireya and Ao'nung with teaching the family the Metkayna ways. You were part of a simple, common family in the clan, but being close friends with Tsireya, she giggled as you told her before of how the eldest son of the Sully had struck your attention, and she vividly nodded, saying that Lo'ak, the youngest, made her feel like she was being pulled into them. After that, you started helping her with the swimming and breathing lessons, and as you patched Neteyam up after he fell off his ilu, trying to make the bond, inkimaya, for the first time, you discovered how the both of you had so much in common, and so much to contrast, that it became routine to walk the waterfront while talking about your day. Neteyam would tell you stories about the forest, how he learned to fish, how he flew his ikran, and the pressure he felt sometimes, and you would tell him about the creatures you usually saw, about your soul sister, Epeyfwa, and how she would soon come with the tulkun migration, as the bioluminescent seaweed would make the glowing waves slightly brush your feet.
NETEYAM, you skxawng! – As you reached to hit his forehead, the both of you on top of your ilus, him cocking his head to the side with a grin, chuckling. You always told Neteyam that he didn't need to actually be perfect, and he always felt so at ease when he was with you. Time spent with you was time he actually forgot how much he missed home; but Neteyam knew how much you cared for the sea, and he adored pushing certain animals over to see funny reactions or how they flew with the water, and, secretly, to see how lightheartedly stressed with him you could get. It was only in times like this that you frowned in his direction or called him a skxawng. And he could see now how, even though his parents met with Neitiry trying to kill Jake, they grew to love each other so much.
NETEYAM! – As the adrenaline of flying for the first time made you laugh so much that your stomach started to hurt. In your nightly conversations, you told Neteyam about how only warriors rode with the skimwings and could fly for a certain timespan, he took notice of how he once told you about his Ikran and wanted to be the one who took you flying for the first time. One day, he took you to the shore and started whistling to call his Ikran, leaving you confused until the batting of its large wings forced you to close your eyes to avoid sand getting in them, warning you of Neteyam's intentions and making an iced chill run through your spine. When the Ikran landed, you looked at the boy wide-eyed, muttering a small "no, no, I can't believe it- no, 'teyam I'm actually scared", and with his pleas being said in between laughs, assuring you you could ride on the front and he would be holding you the whole time, you complied, and did not regret it for one second as he held your waist tightly, the Inkimaya formed with the creature and your loud screams meeting with wide laughs that made you breathless while cutting through the air.
NETEYAM. oel ngati kameie. – When you fight with your parents after an adventure with the Sullys and Tsireya and her brother, being back only after the eclipse, you rush out to the Sullys mauri again, the path becoming familiar ever since your first apparition looking for Neteyam; since you were all grounded, you didn't think about rushing in or having his parents know you were there. It was late, and you didn't really have a plan, but when his unmistakable eyes and bioluminescent traits appeared in your line of vision, you relaxed ever slightly. He was pacing, and he saw you. Neteyam quietly left the pod, asking what were you doing in there, since he knew you were punished for being "reckless and impulsive", as you responded that you felt safe around him and just needed a bit of comfort and his soothing energy, his chest puffed forward with pride, though his cheeks turned a shade of purple. You blurted your feelings out, ears pointing down and a frown on your face. You complained about how you hated and felt scared to disappoint or disrespect your parents, but with their protectiveness being overwhelming, you felt like anything could make them feel that way, and this was making you feel suffocated, how you hated the heavy responsibility of being promptly perfect. At that, Neteyam looked at you ever so thoroughly, his eyes deep into yours, his eyebrows arched up; his tail brushed slightly over your leg as he reached to cup your face, "this is not your burden to carry, y/n. trust me, I'd know... you know it, right? I... I see you." your look upon him became soft, you sighed rapidly, feeling the weight get off your shoulders. You didn't know if it was because you were finally understood by someone you knew went through something similar, or if it was because he said it. He said it first, and he felt it too. "Neteyam...", you smiled, both hands touching his chest. "oel ngati kameie."
NET... – you couldn't bring yourself to finish it as you felt the guttural scream coming from your throat coming to interrupt your calling at the sight you were met with. After rushing to Epeyfwa to warn her and the tulkuns that swam near you, you came back to the village, asking if your help was needed anywhere else, but got orders to just keep yourself safe; it was after eclipse when you went out of your mauri pod, anxious, preoccupied and missing your friends, especially Neteyam. As you walked the shore, you took in the rushing people and the shifted energy, gloom and revenge written on all of the Metkayna it was disturbing. Nearing the beach, you spotted the Sully family, backs slumped forward and tear-stained faces, an energy of loss even though they were back that took over you as soon as you saw them; eyebrows knitting together and steps becoming vigorous as you missed Neteyam. Halfway through asking for him, you noticed Jake carried a curled body, legs hanging from his arms. With a shift, you saw Neteyam's peaceful looking face, but bloody chest, as a whole wounded his torso. Your throat went dry, hurting as you screamed, your soul was cut in half as a third person held you by your arms, trying to avoid further commotion. Your knees fell to the sand as thick tears started to fall from your eyes. As you lost a sense of fullness you only gained when you first learned his name, when you first saw his eyes, when the Sullys first landed in Awa'atlu. As pure rage invaded your being from being robbed of something so early, from having this allowed by Ewya. From having your heart bruised in a deep shade of blue.

U know the ask about spider seeing ghosts? Ikeeo thinking abour the idea that it only starts happening when he gets to the metkyina clan. The idea bring that spider needs extra protection there /reasons for ronal and friends to trust /accept him so obvs Eywa Provides. Idk, the idea of someone with hairstyles several decades out of date teaching him where all of the most dangerous places to avoid are, Ronals grandmothwr advising him on how to tackle her. They start to notice when he starts making armbands that noone has seen for generations
(also inherwnt in this ask is the idea of neteyam being the first ghost he sees-for ultimate tragedy maybe this is when they fall in love))
Oh my gosh I love this idea. I'm slowly becoming obsessed with Spider seeing ghosts instead of performing tsaheylu, maybe there will have to be a headcanon post about that alone.
-Spider's weaving nets expertly and when someone asks him how he says this person taught him and everyone is confused because no one lives here by that name, the demon must have misheard.
-Spider hANDLING RONAL that's so funny, generations of her family behind him, her mother and her grandmother and her mother in law like standing behind him and she's scolding him for not changing the wrap on his wrist sooner or something and Ronal's grandmother is behind her like "that means she likes you."
-Ao'nung trying to trick him like he did Lo'ak, and his uncle or something appears to be like "Nah, don't listen to that little shit" and Spider raises his eyebrows like "Oh really? I'm supposed to throw all the fish into the water for ilu and not just give them one by one huh?"
NOW DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON NETEYAM GHOST POST SPIDER'S KIDNAPPING YOU MOTHERFUCKER WHAT A TRAGIC CONCEPT?? THAT'S WHEN THEY FALL IN LOVE YOU BASTARD??
Okay so bear with me, you guys know that Spider fic trope where he gets to Awa'atlu and is kinda forgotten/hides his suffering until everything boils over because of how used to hiding he is and how overwhelmed everyone else is? That but now Neteyam ghost is just following him around attempting to get him to take care of himself, talk to him, tell him what happened. Talk to the family, ask for help. Neteyam and Spider always were friends but drifted apart when Neteyam got busy and Spider always thought it was because Neteyam was listening to Neytiri about him. He's just getting more and more frustrated, why is Neteyam sticking with him, why does he care now, when it's too late and Spider already caused his death? AWFUL. TRAGIC. I LOVE IT SOMEONE WRITE IT.

Neteyam x Ta'unui ! Female! Y/N (water clan that was attacked by Quaritch) fic bits
upd: full fic is posted
I am currently writing a long ass fic but because I'm impatient, I want to share a few spicy bits with you. I will be posting the full fic in the upcoming few days, so lmk if you want to be added to the taglist.
For the context, the reader is the younger sister of Tsahik at the Ta'unui clan. It's the clan that the Quaritch attacks looking for Jake. In the movies, thanks to Spider, they avoid casualties, but in this fic, everything happens way more brutally: many Na'vi get killed, and basically the whole village burns down. Y/N escapes before she gets killed, and seeks refuge at the Awa’atlu village, where the Sully's happened to be.
Knowing that the only reason sky demons attacked her village was Jake Sully, Y/N develops hatred towards him. She thinks he's a coward for hiding and causing so much damage to the innocent clans.
Now, at Awa’atlu, she starts to develop relationships with the Sully kids before she finds out that their father is the Jake Sully. Things get complicated, because her and Neteyam truly start seeing each other as enemies. Of course, there's lots of drama bc he protects his father, blah blah, you get it. But hatred is a form of love, and well, I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers, so
Tropes: enemies to lovers, friends to lovers

___
“What do you want?” you ask, squinting to make out his features. His eyes and freckles glow in the dark and you notice the slightest flatter of his ears. Like he’s excited.
“It’s Neteyam,” he gestures.
“I know,” you’re annoyed. You know who he is, does he think you can’t see him?
“Oh,” it surprises him? “Right, I just didn’t want to scare you, so I…”
“Shouldn’t you be checking on your brother anyway?”
“Technically, I can’t do anything except wait. When it gets suspiciously long, then I follow him,” he smirks like it’s the funniest thing.
___
“Sorry if we woke you up,” he scratches his head, “I was going to check on you anyway, just not at this hour.”
“Why would you check on me?” you frown.
“I thought you might like someone to talk to you, about moving and stuff.”
“I talk to Tsireya, I’m fine.”
“I know, she’s nice,” Neteyam crouches down, to bring himself on your eye level. He sighs, slightly embarrassed, “But she thought it would be a good idea for me to talk to you.”
“Why?”
“I get what you’re going through.”
This frustrates you. You and he had nothing in common. You were forced out of your home; you had given up everything without a choice. How can he relate to you? He has his family. You have no one.
“Just because we’re both outlanders doesn’t mean that you have to pretend to be like me, Neteyam. We’re not the same,” it comes out more aggressive than you intended. You notice his ears lower, along with his gaze, “I don’t need a forest boy teaching me the way of water. You’re not my savior.”
Neteyam’s face gets quickly covered with guilt. It’s like you hit a cord with your last words. He didn’t mean to offend you.
“Not trying to be a savior, just a friend,” he mumbles, standing up.
___
“What do they want? The islands?” Ao'nung asks.
“They’re looking for him, they think that he’s hiding in another clan,” you answer, noticing how everyone’s ears perk up.
“Who are you talking about? Who’s he?” Lo’ak suddenly gets suspicious.
“Jake Sully,” you reply, “I’m not sure what he did to them, but they were set on killing him. And killing anyone who’s protecting him,” you add with anger in your voice.
You’re met with a dead silence, like they know something they’re not telling you. The foresters hang their heads, and you notice as Tsireya touches Lo’ak's hand.
“Wait, so they’re looking for your dad?” Roxto turns to Kiri, “They’re looking for you.”
“Your dad?” you turn to Kiri, “Is he your dad?”
Kiri nods, almost ashamed. You feel your throat hurting, as realization washes over you.
“It’s your dad!” you feel anger building up. You stand up, “They set my village on fire because of him! They thought we were hiding him but he was here all this time!”
“Y/N, it’s not anyone’s fault but the demons’,” Tsireya stands up too, trying to calm you down, “He wanted to keep his family safe, he doesn’t want war.”
“My father has done nothing wrong,” Neteyam stands up as well, his tone now serious.
“He should be facing them by himself, not putting other clans at risk!” you throw your hands in the air in frustration.
___
“That’s unfair, I’m not losing my dad,” he growls.
“I lost my home!”
The two of you hiss at each other, and as you struggle to free your arms, he flips you over. Your back hits the sand with a painful ache but it gives you enough room to kick him with your leg. Right in the stomach. Neteyam winces in pain, but pins you down, this time paying special attention to have your knees locked together.
“Skxawng,” you growl.
___
“Why aren’t you angry at me?” you turn to Lo'ak.
“Why aren’t you?” he asks in return, “You’re angry at Neteyam but not at me.”
You pause. You’re not really sure why Lo’ak joining you didn’t affect you, as much as Neteyam’s presence did. Maybe it’s because Lo’ak seemed guilty earlier. He didn’t stand up for his dad, so there must be something both of you can agree on.
“I don’t like when people pretend to care. Because once something threatens their peace, they really show how they don’t give a shit about you.”
“Neteyam doesn’t pretend about caring,” Lo’ak disagrees, “Sure, he pretends all the time but not when it comes to caring. He cares.”
“Not about me anyway,” you scoff.
Lo’ak falls silent. You got him there.
___
Distracted, you fall a little behind the group, and find yourself next to Neteyam. He was not a bad swimmer, but he was definitely slow compared to you.
You watch him. It’s almost entertaining how greedily he admires the surroundings, oblivious to your presence. His yellow eyes seem almost golden in this light, and you can’t help but smile.
When his eyes meet yours, you feel tightness in your throat, and your smile falls. Why is he staring? What is he thinking?
___
“Dad?” Neteyam’s voice grabs both of your attention. He leans against the entrance of the marui, looking between the two of you.
“I’ll be right there,” Jake says, standing up, “Do you want to join, Y/N?”
You nod in appreciation and follow him into the room. You exchange another look with Neteyam but this time he looks troubled. Like he’s trying to figure out what the hell you and his father were talking about.
___
Bang. All of a sudden someone throws you off your feet, your back hitting the ground, and you see a familiar face hang above you. So close, you can feel his braids touching your skin. Neteyam. You growl.
“What the hell?” you slap his chest angrily, but he won’t budge. His arms are by your both sides, knee rests between your thighs, restricting your movement.
“This is a familiar pose,” he smirks, and you roll your eyes at him, “Why aren’t you asleep?”
“I was trying to clear my head. Why aren’t you?”
“I’m guarding,” he smiles.
“You’re a guardian?” you snort.
Neteyam shakes his head amused, swaying his braids over your skin.
___
His fingers start tickling your stomach and your neck. You squirm underneath him, trying to get away.
“Neteyam, stop!” you squeak through your giggling.
“Then say you’re sorry!” he pauses for a second, to give you a chance to save yourself.
“Why would I lie?” your voice catches in your throat, as he continues tickling you, “I’m sorry! I give up!”
“Sorry for what?”
“Sorry for not telling you sooner!”
“And who am I?”
You feel out of breath, smiling like a fool. You know exactly what he wants to hear.
“The mighty warrior,” you let out with a giggle. His face immediately lightens up.
“Smart girl,” he lowers his face towards you, nuzzling your forehead.
“You called me stupid two seconds ago,” you try to protest but he shuts you up with a gentle kiss.
In this moment, when his lips touch yours, and his hand cups your cheek, as you play with his braids, it’s impossible to remember why you hated him so much. Your grandmother used to say that hate is a form of love.
___
Okaaay, I hope I did not just spoiled the whole fic with these bits lol, and I hope that you'd be interested in reading the whole thing, once I post it.
I'm finally writing the fluffy scenes, and I'm swaying my feet and giggling and shi, at how cute it's going to be. What you think about these bits? Do they make sense to you pulled out of context?
Again, lmk if you want to be added to the taglist. I will be posting the whole fic in a few days, and it's going to be extra long, extra angsty and fluffy

Tumblr media
general
one of the most chaotic families out there
trust me when i say this
when any of the kids have friends over, the guests are always shocked to find out that they ever manage to get anything done
there's always someone being a problem ( lo'ak )
tuk is the "do it all" child
like soccer, lacrosse, dance, school plays + musicals
she totally ate as an oompa loompa in charlie and the chocolate factory jr.
the older siblings all took a picture with her while she was in costume
[y/n] has an epic 0.5x picture of her from that night and is saving it for her graduation
[y/n] has the most baby pictures and "baby's first christmas" ornaments / type stuff just because she was the first child
neteyam has a good bit, so does kiri, but lo'ak and tuk have barely any
you can tell that they gave up on parenting tuk because she's such a menace
the whole entire family is banned from pizza hut
they refuse to speak on the topic
after neteyam and lo'ak played jv basketball together, kiri and [y/n] worked together to rewatch all the film and make a compilation of all their funny moments
tbt to when lo'ak completely missed the basket during a free throw
to present it, they gathered the entire family into the living room and pretended it was serious
but as soon as the video started, the two girls could not hold up the act and ended up on the ground in tears as they laughed at the entire thing
lo'ak and neteyam were not amused
jake was totally losing his mind
he loves making fun of his kids ( affectionately )
you can always tell neytiri's mood based on what she's listening to when she cooks dinner
a podcast means she's feeling good, feeling productive - sad music means she's, well... sad - classical music means you must stay far away from her
kiri, [y/n], and neytiri have their periods sinked up
it's complete hell for everyone else
once jake came home from work late and saw them sobbing on the couch to an episode of how i met your mother
sometimes the siblings will all sit down and have tuk paint their nails as she just talks the most amount of shit about every kid in her class
it's literally the funniest thing
she has some serious issues
kiri and [y/n] both like reading but the difference between the two is that kiri actually reads and [y/n] has five different books sitting on her bedside table
when she does have a random burst of energy to read, they always swap books
the head boys lacrosse coach is the biology teacher and he loves the sully family
he also teaches forensic science
not only is [y/n] dating his star player, but she manages the team
plus neteyam is on his team
sometimes, during their lunch period, fali and [y/n] just roll up to his class ( the same period that lo'ak and tsireya have bio )
ao'nung also plays basketball, so him and lo'ak were literally always beefing until they randomly just became friends
and then it was chill!
[y/n] and fali also drive tsireya and ao'nung around quite a bit, but they don't mind
everybody trusts fali and [y/n]
they're the type of people that you call if you need anything ever
kiri and neteyam have definitely called their sister or fali during a party after realizing they needed to get home
once neteyam's old friends left him there with no ride and he was... not all that sober
fali was at the same party because lacrosse team!
this boy did not hesitate to leave with neteyam and bring him back to his house
neteyam called his parents and pretended he was sleeping over with ao'nung ( who helped cover for him ) and ended up sleeping in fali's guest bedroom
every day kiri collects random ideas for her future speech as [y/n]'s maid of honor at her and fali's wedding
[y/n] still doesn't know
neteyam has an entire shoebox full of memories with his big sister that he plans to give her before she moves out
panic ensues the household when they reach june / graduating month
they do not want to think about their first baby leaving the nest!
neytiri is such a sad frantic mama
just wants everything to be perfect for her baby
jake ensures her that it will be
moving on to more happy stuff!
neytiri is totally a swiftie
like a very serious very loyal swift or that knows every single song and every single album and every single word
owns her ugly merch but it's okay because it makes her happy
tsireya's favorite candy would be watermelon jolly ranchers and she always has them in her backpack and stuff
lo'ak started to also keep watermelon flavored things in his backpack when he first started crushing on her
he would give her some during bio
her smile was always worth it
[y/n] and fali have the cheesiest and cutest way of reminding each other that they love each other
and that would be by giving each other their last piece of something
like they would give each other their last oreo, their last piece of gum, their last hershey kiss, his last name
it's just a silent exchange of their infatuation for each other
everybody else watches as they contemplate leaving because of how lonely they make them feel
kiri makes the silliest birthday posts
like she absolutely exposes every single one of her siblings by posting their ugly pictures on her instagram story
and she isn't even nice enough to keep it on close friends
lo'ak and [y/n] have a super long streak on snap chat of like 600+ days
and they are constantly scared of losing it
tuk takeover happens on a rare occasion in which, every few months, one of her older siblings allows her to do their streaks
she usually manages to post something stupid on their stories or something, but all of their friends have learned to look forward to it
fali and [y/n] were friends for a year before dating, but half of that year was spent with them absolutely crushing on each other
their first kiss story is so embarrassing and they refuse to tell anyone about it
fali wears bracelets that [y/n] makes for him
he always wears the bracelets that tuk makes for him and they're the cutest things because it's just a random assortment of beads
fali probably has a like single piercing on one of his ears after losing a bet with his friends
but he's grown to love it
he always has to take it out for lacrosse because the helmet is a pain
[y/n] buys him cute little earrings that he refuses to wear because they're always silly
like, "no, [y/n] i'm not wearing a singular waffle earring."
the only earring from her that he wears is the earring that matches the ring he gave her on their one year anniversary
she gave him that earring for his birthday
he almost cried

"Smell that, it's wet grass and smoke in my hair."
Chapter one
Next chapter ->
Summary: the Sully family moves to another city after Neytiri gets a new job there as an Archery teacher. In consequence, the kids go to a new high-school where they meet new people and also face people from their past, and basically just live their lives as teenagers.
Pairings: Neteyam x Ao'nung, Lo'ak x Tsireya, Kiri x Rotxo
Notes: I'm indecisive so I didn't know if I wanted this to be a Human Au or just a Na'vi fic, so you can imagine them as humans or Na'vi! it's up to you! I tried not to describe their appearance too much to make this easier, but I'll use human and Na'vi images for the chapters.
Also, I chose the title because it's a lyric from Townie by Mitski, and it makes me think so much about being a teenager so I think it's appropriate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Includes: kind of Slice of Life?, High-school au, Neteyam, Ao'nung and Rotxo are 18, Lo'ak, Tsireya, and Kiri are 17, Modern au, enemies to lovers, ex's to friends to lovers, daddy issues, bullying, crushes, hurt/comfort. I'll be updating the tags once I write more!
2.1k words
It was early in the morning when Jake was driving his kids to their new school. They just moved to their new house after Neytiri got a new job as an archery teacher, they decided it was better to move than to have Neytiri traveling everyday, they also saw it as an opportunity to buy a bigger house where they would live more comfortably as the big family they were.
Neteyam glanced at Lo'ak's phone and saw that he was looking at old pictures of Tsireya and him, Neteyam couldn't help but feel worried about his little brother's situation, even though he thought Tsireya had good reasons to break up, but it also wasn't something they couldn't work up.
"Do you still miss her?" Neteyam looked at his brother's face who couldn't stop looking longingly at his ex girlfriend's picture.
"Of course bro, I miss her more than anything"
"and have you talked to her lately?" Lo'ak sighed.
"Nah, I don't think she wants to talk to me."
"I mean, if you ask me, I think she would wanna hear about you, so she'll know that you care about her, like, that's the whole thing about your break up." Lo'ak sighed, putting his phone down.
"I don't know bro, I still feel kinda embarrassed, I was so clueless and thought everything was just fine between us."
"Okay but… Now that we live in the same city as Reya, what would you do if you run into her?" Lo'ak laughed at that scenario, because it was an impossible thing, he thought.
"Bro this is a big city, what are the odds of me running into her." Neteyam stared silently at him, confused.
"Is that actually a joke?"
"what do you mean?" Now Lo'ak was even more confused than his brother.
"Lo'ak, are you being for real?"
"About what?! please don't play with me right now I swear."
"Bro we are attending to the same school as her, and you are both on the same grade" Neteyam felt like he was explaining to a toddler that two plus two is four. "Are you telling me you didn't know that?" Judging by Lo'ak's wide eyes, no, he didn't knew that.
Lo'ak unbuckled his seatbelt, being his dramatic self. "Dad stop the car." Jake looked at him through the rear view mirror.
"Lo'ak don't start, put your seatbelt back on or i'm gonna crash into a tree."
Lo'ak's face was pale as he looked at Neteyam once again "Why wouldn't you tell me about this shit?!"
"Cause' I thought you knew what was your girlfriend's school smartass! that's why she broke up with you, you don't even know something so basi-" Before he could finish, Lo'ak grabbed his hair in a fist.
"Take that back!" Now, Neteyam was trying to push his brother back.
"Get off of me!" At this point, they were both pulling their hair and pushing each other's faces.
"Hey, hey!" Jake suddenly stopped the car, making both of them stop immediately and look at their father with frightened faces "You two are way too grown to be fighting like this, specially you, Neteyam" the mentioned boy's ears laid flat against his head. "Now, both of you, get out of the car and walk to school, let's see if you keep misbehaving like this when you arrive."
The brothers looked at their father with wide eyes, but soon they just looked down and said "Yes, sir" as they opened the door and got out. They weren't far from the school, they could see it from where they were standing, but it was embarrassing that they got kicked out of the car because of their little fight
the walk to school was silent and the tension was palpable, Lo'ak felt guilty and he could also feel Neteyam's anger irradiate from him like fire, but once they got to the entrance, the older brother patted the younger's head.
"If you need anything just text me, okay?" He may be angry because of the scolding they got because of their little argument, but he was still worried about Lo'ak and his situation.
Lo'ak walked fast into school because he didn't wanna run into that particular someone, meanwhile, Neteyam wasn't in any hurry so he just walked like a normal person.
Until he saw Kiri surrounded by a group of guys laughing at her.
Tumblr media
After an eventful car ride to school with her beloved family, Kiri arrives to school before her brothers, of course.
"Have a nice day baby" Jake watches her get out of the car with her green backpack "If someone bothers you don't hesitate to ask your brothers for help, okay?" She nodded.
"Alright dad, see ya!"
As she's walking towards the entrance, she spots some beautiful flowerpots with big leaves covering them. She didn't knew yet, but that was part of he gardening club. At the entrance, if you walk a few steps to the side of the building, you will find a narrow but long greenhouse with some vegetables growing inside that the students sowed themselves. outside theres two white benches in between flowers, cactuses and other beautiful plants that are well cared for by the students.
She strongly believes in talking to plants and giving them positive energy to grow stronger and beautiful, she also finds it really therapeutic talking to them, and the best part is that they'll never judge her
Unlike some other skxawnks.
"Look!" She hears a masculine voice getting closer, along with some giggles. "Is she talking to a plant? you gotta be kidding me" It was some Metkayina boys that were getting closer.
"she's a freak, man" Kiri looked at them with furrowed brows and they could tell that she wasn't Metkayina. "And she's not from here... She must be from the forest."
Kiri rolls her eyes and sighs annoyed as she tries to leave the garden, when the tallest boy gets in her way. He had braided hair and a bun along with some loose curls. His blue eyes were so blue they were almost clear, and Kiri always thought blue eyes looked terrifying.
"Hey, chill." He laughs mockingly "I doubt we interrupted an important conversation here, Forest girl"
"Please just, leave me alone" Kiri tries to get out of this situation but the guys just kept walking around her like vultures, making her dizzy.
When Neteyam arrives, is almost like a sixth sense activates on his brain. He gets closer to the laughter, where the garden is, he doesn't understand what's going on until he hears his sister's voice. He walks at a fast pace and throws his backpack to the ground once he arrives to this circle formed around his younger sister.
He sees the taller boy standing in front of his sister, preventing her from leaving while the other boys around them just laugh. By grabbing the taller boy's shoulder, he turns him around, finding a stunned look in his face.
Neteyam didn't even need to raise his voice to be intimidating, his eyes were just enough to feel your blood getting colder.
"Leave her alone," His voice sounded almost like a growl, Ao'nung felt goosebumps. "Now."
Koro, Ao'nung's friend, was quick to talk back, "Who the fuck do you think you-" But Ao'nung stopped him right away.
Looking at him up and down with a smirk, he raised both of his hands in surrender, letting the darker skinned boy know he was done annoying Kiri.
The girl walked towards her brother just wanting to leave the scene, but Neteyam and Ao'nung held eye contact for a few more seconds until the siblings turned around and left.
Ao'nung's friends looked at him confused, while he just kept looking at Neteyam's back, feeling just as confused as them.
"Who's that?"
Tumblr media
Once they were far enough, Neteyam quickly stopped to check on his little sister, he scanned her up and down with his eyes and held her head in both of his hands to talk to her.
"Are you alright? Did they hurt you?" Kiri avoided eye contact.
"I'm fine, It's just... I don't wanna talk about it right now." The bell rang indicating their classes were starting, the hallway appeared to be busier at every second.
"If anybody bothers you again just call me and I'll rip their throats off with my teeth, alright?" Kiri smiled, Neteyam shuffled her hair and then they parted ways.
The first period was over, the Sully brothers didn't knew anyone yet other than Tsireya, so they were spending their free time at the school gym, not doing anything in particular, just chatting.
"Do you think that if I talked to her we could start dating again?" Neteyam sighed, actually getting tired of the Tsireya situation.
"I mean, you could at least try instead of asking me that same question over and over." Neteyam rolled his eyes.
"Yeah but what if-" before Lo'ak could finish that sentence, a guy came up to them with a basketball in his hands.
"Hey, we need two more players, are you guys up to?" Neteyam smiled and took the basketball in his hands as he walked away with the boy.
"C'mon Lo!" Neteyam shouted.
"Alright, alright!" Lo'ak followed his brother even though right now he just wanted to keep talking about his situation.
Lucky for them, they both played basketball since they were kids when their dad taught them. Neteyam even won some trophies when he was younger, which made his father really proud. On the other hand, Lo'ak wanted to be as good as his brother at basketball and make his father proud too, but he just couldn't, was it because Neteyam was taller? maybe he was faster? or maybe he just jumped higher? he didn't knew for certain, and that sometimes made him feel impotent.
They were getting into their positions when Neteyam noticed something, or more specifically, someone, on the other team. It was the guy that was making fun of Kiri earlier.
When they made eye contact neither of them looked away, Neteyam looked at him with a frown and Ao'nung at first had a surprised look on his face which soon switched into a smug grin.
When the game started, Ao'nung was baffled at how fast Neteyam was, they weren't even playing an actual game, this was just for fun, but the boy seemed so immersed in the game, like a professional player. Everyone noticed how good Neteyam was and how in sync him and Lo'ak were, probably because they played the sport together for years.
The bell rang just in time when their game ended, it wasn't a surprise that Neteyam's team won, everyone congratulated him, he was the new kid and he already was a sensation amongst their classmates, which made Lo'ak feel a bit left out.
"Yo Neteyam, are you joining the basketball team?" a boy from Neteyam's team asked while walking next to him
Neteyam found himself surrounded by people talking to him about how amazing he was at basketball and that he should definitely join the school's team.
Tumblr media
"That's amazing son! Do you know when are the tryouts?"
The day was finally over, they were having dinner when Jake asked Neteyam about his day. He knew if he told his dad about the whole basketball thing he would be so proud, and he was, his eyes looked brighter when he heard the news.
"I think they start next week, they also play basket in between classes so maybe I'll practice with them but i'm not sure." He was moving his food with a fork while he spoke, Jake looked at him with a confused frown.
"What do you mean you're not sure? you have to do it! So they'll know you're motivated." He raised his voice unconsciously.
"Jake" Neytiri said as a warning, she knew her husband gets a little carried away when it's about his son playing sports, and Neteyam was such a people pleaser he would do whatever it would take to never disappoint his parents. So if Jake told Neteyam that he had to train 24/7 until he passed out, his son will most certainly do it.
"i'll go to the tryouts too dad." Lo'ak said looking at his father, who looked at him a little less excited.
"That's good, son, but you have to keep your grades up if you wanna be on a team, alright?" Lo'ak sighed and looked down at his plate, expecting a happier reaction from his dad.
"Yes, sir."
"Speaking of joining things" Kiri spoke, trying to ease the tension in the table. "I joined the gardening club, the "tryout" was being good at science so I just signed in." she joked.
"That's great darling" Neytiri smiled "You'll meet a lot of smart people like you then." Kiri laughed softly.
"I hope so, at least I won't be joining a sports team, everyone there is crazy." Lo'ak and Neteyam pretended to be offended.
"At least I won't be surrounded by nerds" Lo'ak talked back playfully, but Kiri looked at Neteyam.
"You'll be surrounded by hot athletic boys that's why you'll join the team" her older brother looked at her with wide eyes and his mouth full of food as he spoke.
"Why are you attacking me! I didn't even said anything!" bits of food fell out of his mouth, Neytiri put a napkin on his mouth, trying not to laugh.
"Teyam that's disgusting! behave on the table!"

hunting the tawute was so good im actually obsessed with it i think reread it three times?? OMLLL the knot play was so hot, i feel like theres not that much "knotting" when it comes to navi x human smut ive seen which is so sad bc come on human reader who can barely handle a navi cock and NOW has to deal with this damn knot thats literally keeping her connected to them while they fill up her insides constantly plsplspls
and the way loak got super posessive of reader when neteyam tried to stop him OMFGGGGG i need more posessive loak/neteyam AND WHEN LOAK KISSED HER BELLT BULDGE WHEN NETEYAM WAS RAILING HER i fell to the floor when i read that
dark/fucked up/hates human loak & neteyam with human reader who they basically treat as their toy/sex toy is literally my number 1 fantasy and dont even get me started on them getting her pregnant i always imagine it where navi and humans cant procreate but since they have some human dna it would work need them both to baby trap me so bad
thank u for feeding us dark fic enjoyers !
Y'all are making me blush!! 🧡 🧡 🧡
I'm so thrilled with how many people are loving Hunting the Tawtute and how you guys are into dark fics in general, and I'm so fucking here for it.
Definitely agree there's not enough knotting in Avatar. It's one of the hottest things to read in my opinion, but it's so hard to find. I'm sure you've read her stuff cause she's for sure the best at writing about heats/ruts/knotting, but if you haven't you should check out @tiredmamaissy - her stuff is fantastic and hot and just 🥵
CW:// Talk of Pregnancy & Pregnant Sex (under the cut):
Don't get ME started on them getting her pregnant. Good loooordddd, I could cum just thinking about it. And I LOVE the idea of the human DNA allowing them to impregnate her, and I imagine that it would take many, many, many rounds of breeding and filling her up for it to take. And then even after it does, they wouldn't be able to keep their hand off of her because now she smells like them all the time and possessiveness from the sight of her round with their baby makes them even more obsessed with her.

Hey guys! This fanfic is inspired by songs from Rio, and I couldn’t help but write short fluffs just expanding on everyone’s lives before the war. I’ve already established a storyline that leads to the main plot of the second movie and beyond, but, in the buildup, here are some chill fics! Enjoy!
This is for entertainment only. Avatar belongs to James Cameron. I also do not own you, the reader.
Hello, Goodbye - Chapter 1 (Next Chapter >) Neteyam x Reader
Tumblr media
Lunch was something that every warrior looked forward to after a morning of training. Entering his family's kelku along with his father, he greeted his mother and sister before sharing a meal.
He gave his mom a toothy smile after she commended him for his hunt.
"The time has come everyone! My baby tsmuke is ready to sing her first song to Eywa!" Tarsem shouted well into the afternoon with a hit of a dried-up puffball, the consistent pops emphasizing his excitement.
Jake and Neytiri perked up at the announcement, quickly cleaning up the finished vey. Neteyam cocked an eyebrow at Kiri's excitement, one of the top warriors of the clan, his idol besides his father, had a sister?
Making his way down the tree and walking beside his bored brother, he whispered a question to the happy Na'vi his age. "Kiri, do you know who Tarsem's sibling is?"
The girl couldn't contain her smile after sticking her tongue out at his apparent cluelessness. "I'm surprised you don’t, considering you hover around him like a shadow."
"For real, even mom brought her up a couple of times because of their sa’nok," Lo'ak snickered which earned him a pinch to the ear.
"Because Ninat is a wonderful mother for teaching her two kids some manners." Neytiri pointedly said, and Jake chuckled at her tone.
"Tarsem has been talking non-stop about an unexpected performance we'd want to see, so I'm guessing it's this one." His dad added, "One of them got their mother's talent, while the other from their father's."
As they stopped at a clearing on one side of the Tree of Souls, Neteyam took an available seat next to Jake. "So she’s not a warrior like her brother?"
To say Neteyam never paid any attention to the kids their age because of his training as Olo'eyktan would be assuming the same critical views of the clan’s elders. He probably did already meet her, they just weren't past acquainted to talk about their family lives.
Why would they? Those topics were reserved for adults. He, Lo'ak, and his other friends had only really talked about who could make the most accurate Banshee noise and who had the best parents. (Of course, since Neteyam always won this, they'd stopped asking that question ever again.)
"No, but she's currently in training to be one of the best singers in the clan," Jake told him, eyes focused on the musical instruments set before them.
And that's his answer. Since he was a warrior in training, he was always surrounded by the same group of people. If somebody were to ask him if he could name one of the healers in the clan, he would most likely just utter his grandmother's name.
Still, he wished he knew who Tarsem's sister was so Lo'ak would've stopped teasing him about his "L" the whole walk from their place.
From the center of the crowd, Ninat and a few other Na'vi that Neteyam guessed were also aypamtseotu, started making a symphony of clicks and lively thuds to gain everyone's attention and introduce the singer. Of course, Neteyam has watched a few of these performances before either during rituals or leisure, but, they were almost always led by the older Na'vi women.
"All the birds of a feather Do what they love most of all We are the best at rhythm and laughter That's why we love festival"
Neteyam's eyes which were previously fixed on Tarsem's proud gaze shifted to the owner of the young but melodic voice. A short Na'vi girl, about his age, was swaying her arms to the tune of her own making, giving her the illusion of a bird.
Your smile was stretched in glee as you walked around the crowd, gaining each Na’vi’s attention, continuing to sing the very first song Eywa had inspired you to make.
Neteyam was impressed for sure by your talent, but his eyes also widened in recognition when he saw the feathers in your hair. Those two colors… were something he swore he'd never forget a few years ago before all his training had started, that one humid day when he'd stormed off angrily in the direction of his family's pod.
You two were arguing about who said "hi" first to Tarsem when the young tsamsiyu walked past after a greeting. Neteyam has been raised punctual, so for you to show up a few minutes later after he did to watch the training, claiming you'd said hello to his "big brother" before he did, set a fuse in him that led to a full-blown argument that was stopped by none other than Tarsem himself.
Looking back, he supposed considering the warrior was scolding you for your behavior, it was pretty obvious that you two were related. However in his defense, when you're six and you're just so mad at someone, you seem to forget rationale and just remember the striking qualities of said event.
And that was the bright-colored feathers woven into your hair, angrily bouncing up and down just in front of his eyes as your younger self shouted back at him, nitpicking at his height.
The irony in that though was you're the short one now.
Your wide pupils met his and you smirked. The groan he let out was stopped midway by a slap to the arm by his father who had mistaken it as caused by something else.
"Be respectful to (Name.)"
But really, he was just upset that it turned out you were right.
You did say "hi" first to Tarsem.

Hirofumi Yoshida X OC!reader
A/n: This isn't anything special and these scenarios were written on Discord, not edited, proofread just purely for thirsting over Yoshida.
Please keep in mind he's aged up to 18 or older in every scenario!!
I will post them here for whatever reason, I swear I'm writing everything exept my Neteyam fic lmao 😭 anyways @mwlkie pookie this one's for you 🫶🫶
Tumblr media
Scenario 1:
Sometimes you couldn't help but wonder and just stare at your fiancé. He's literally so beautiful and amazing, you're truly a lucky girl but he's also a very lucky guy to have you. He's beautiful but you aren't ugly either. Anyways..
You were highschool sweathearts, about to be wedded but yet somehow you still get nervous around your soon to be husband. You're guessing it's in his nature to tease you and for you to be shy but this shy with your future husband was a bit too much..
"What's wrong darling?" He asked as he turned his head around as he just parked the car in an empty parking lot.
"Ah.. nothing I was just thinking about something.." you said as you started to wonder off in thought again.
"Is something troubling my darling? Is there something I could do for my darling?"
How could you not get nervous when this utterly amazing man was talking to you like this, looking at you like this..
You got a bit shy again as your cheeks turned a pinkish color while maintaining eye contact with him.
"Hmm?" He put his hand on your cheek.
"My darling if were going to get married how nervous and shy would you be then?" He teased as his words were followed by his infamous teasing smile.
"I guess we'll have to do something about that hm? Don't you think?" He kept teasing making you even more tense and nervous as you started to fiddle with your fingers. He put his other hand on your thigh, rubbing it gently, making your heart want to escape your chest.
"Isn't it better if we take care of that now..-" he said as his voice got lower and he pulled you into a kiss. A small cute little kiss that very quickly turned into whimpering and moaning into eachothers mouths as he was on top of you in the backseat.
Scenario 2:
Friday night out with friends and most importantly your crush, Yoshida. Everything was going good until someone mentioned we should play truth or dare..
You instantly knew you were going to be exposed not just Infront of your friends but also infront of your crush you somehow successfully hid for a year.
You were hoping you could somehow skip your turn by now being active in the game but your luck had to run our sooner or later when you heard your friend say your name.
"Yes..?" You asked nervously.
She chuckled. She was definitely onto something.
"You thought I would just let you be ahh" She teased you.
'GOD DAMN IT..' You thought as your expression was sour as if you just ate a lemon. Your palms sweating and you gulped.
"I dare you to kiss Yoshida kun!" You Friend spat out your whole body was wishing the sun would explode right now, too bad it was night.
"On the cheek right?" You tried to play it off as calm as you could and your response caught Yoshidas attention.
"Yoshida kun, can she kiss your lips?" Your friend asked and he nodded in agreement.
You swore you could literally pass out. Why would Yoshida wanna kiss you.
You turned your head towards him cupping his face about to kiss him as your friend cut you off.
"No no no sit in his lap as you kiss him" She said giggling and another friend commented
"Why are you acting like a porn director" your other friend joked and another said
"Maybe that's her career dream haha"
You wanted to laugh too of the joke wasn't about 'porn' you were doing now.
"You guys shut up!! Now do it!!" You nervously sat in his lap as he made space for you and put his hands on your lower back making you shiver.
You cupped his face again and brought him closer and gave him a soft kiss but Yoshida had other plans.
He moved his hands from your lower back to your neck and face and pulled you for a deeper kiss and you got so into it you moaned a bit.
Then you realized where and you were doing.
You pulled away from the kiss your face as red as a tomato seeing a string of saliva connecting your mouths.
Scenario 3:
Summary:
U and Yoshida r married yk.. so Yoshida works away from home and he has just came over like a few days before his birthday so u ask him what he wants for his birthday.
Yoshida works away from home while you work in a maid cafe. He comes home every few days or so sometimes longer. It was just a few days before his birthday and he said he will be arriving home soon. You sat in the silent kitchen, went from patiently waiting for your husband to impatiently waiting for him. Now he has finally arrived. You two immediately brought your bodies together for hugs and kisses to express the feeling of longing between you two. You were both laying in bed as you suddenly remembered the fact he's here so you can go pick out his birthday gift together.
So you turn to look at him placing your book on the bedside table.
"So..is there something you want for your birthday?" You innocently asked your husband who looked like he couldn't wait those words escape your mouth. He was already feeling excited, I mean how could he not with a wife like you? (Excited.. take it any way u want..🤭) and he turned just to kiss you again. You couldn't help but chuckle at his sudden gesture and asked him what's the deal to which he just responded with kissing you more, deeply and more deeply. Both of you pulling your bodies close to eachother, only pulling away to take a short breath before coming back into the kiss. He pulls away but he was still so close, looking down at your eyes.
"I think you already know what I want" He teased his own wife as she blushed at his words knowing damn well what he wanted. But what could she possibly do? How could she possibly resist her sweet husbands birthday request? Exactly. She returned the deep kisses as his hands easily found a way into her nightgown, both touching any part of skin they could..
You both adored the feeling and taste of eachothers lips. He was quite a tease. Touching and brushing over your sensitive areas and pretending like he didn't. It either made you feel flustered or frustrated longing for his touch. Now naturally you would be the one recieving but since it was his birthday gift you decided to take matters into your own hands. You were now sitting on his lap, hands wrapped around his neck as whimpers and moans filled the previously silent room. You layed him down while sitting on his lap, exactly where you should be, moving your hips as you looked at your husband trying to keep his cool. You leaned in unbottoning his shirt and gently going over from his lower stomach to his abs and then kissing him again. By now you could literally feel his boner under you as you say on it purposely putting pressure on it. It seemed like you weren't doing anything special but in reality of this man he was moaning and whimpering at any slight movement you made, any action you made.
He finished taking off your nightgown successfully while you took his pants off. Now you were again on top of him fingering yourself for him to watch. Even though this wasn't the first time you guys were doing this, you were married afterall but he was used to doing everything now it felt a bit embarrassing as he watched you finger yourself. He wanted to be the one to so it so he opposed. He was now on top of you and gently placed his two long fingers into your pussy (😭). It felt good. It felt amazing actually. You could have an orgasm just with him fingering you like this. After some fingering you decided to take matters into your own hands again in an attempt to pleasure your husband for his birthday, you already succeeded in that though, but it was already too late to stop so why not just continue..? Now you were on top of his literally riding his dick as his fingers dug deep into your skin from the pleasure. Both of your eyes rolling back.
"I'm gonna come.." he said between whimpers and you heard him in-between your moans. You put him whole inside of you, it made you feel so filled up but weird at the same time, still enjoyable and pleasurable. He expected you to move but you didn't you kept doing what you were, nodding letting him know u heard him. You were gonna let him come inside of you without a condom. Well it didn't really matter since you were married for a few years now. He came inside of you and you couldn't help but tremble at the feeling of it. It felt so good but it still felt like your whole body was on fire from the pleasure.
After that you both took a shower together, washing eachothers hair and stuff.

Honestly the reason these were written like they were is because I honestly couldn't keep serious while writing these 😭😭😭🙏🙏

*slides in with a bouquet of flowers to give you true loves kiss*
okay bb here’s what I want to know 👀, 🧠, ✨ and finally 🖊️ if you’re feeling up to it because I think people would love to see a certain snippet 😏
👀 Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?
honestly, no, i have no shame, i'll post everything hahahaha. i think the only WIPs that will never see the light of day are the ones i keep saying i'll write but then i never have time for (like the cardigan oneshot :(, which i still intend to finish at some point)
🧠 What’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet?
i have so many song ideas, like i have this dilf!jake angsty fic idea with tolerate it by taylor swift as the inspo, but i haven't even gotten the chance to start it yet. also another one with lo'ak with backburner by niki as the inspo. i can see them in my head just not defined enough to actually start them yet, but hopefully soon :(
✨ Choose three adjectives words to complement your own writing.
long ass sentences (not adjectives and idk if it's a compliment but it's the best i can do hahahahah i can't give myself a compliment lys i'll DIE)
🖊 Post a snippet from a current WIP.
someone's already asked me and I ALREADY POSTED THE SNIPPET I'M SO SORRY BUUUUT i can post a cruel summer snippet???
“You know, it’s ok if you’re happy. You don’t have to lie.” you smile gently, trying to your best to reassure him that you mean it, because you do... maybe not with all your heart, but you do. “I’m happy for you, Neteyam. I’m happy that you’re happy. She seems like a nice person. And a good fit for you.”
“You were a good fit for me.” The words shocked you, and so did the tears that gathered in your eyes instantly at hearing those words, mostly said to himself, but that you still heard, that still had to power to still you in your tracks, no matter how much time would ever pass between you.
You tried to smile once more, a sadder, more forlorn one taking the place of your previous attempt.
“Yeah… I was. But, Teyam… we were children. We no longer are. And... we had time. So much time. We grew up together, you and I. Everything we went through, we did together, we had each other. It’s unfair of her to be judged by the same standards. Give her time.”
“Why are you giving me relationship advice?”
“I didn’t think I was. I’m just… helping out a friend.”

REQUEST:
can you write a fic about how lo'ak would act after neteyam's death. how jake and the sullys would talk and heal each others cause of the loss. and tuk! please cause she didn't get to see her big brother for the last time.
Warning this will be sad, mention of Neteyam's death
----------------------------
3rd pov:
After Neteyam died, Lo'ak wouldn't talk to anyone for days after that because he feels as if it's his fault that his brother died. Lo'aks parents tried to talk to him, but he barely ever responded, they only got small noises like 'mhm' or 'no thanks'.
After a couple weeks he finally started talking about how he feels. "Dad, I feel at fault because of his death. . .I feel as if I'm the one who got him killed. . ." He told his father as he looked into the water, "Son, it was not your fault, you were saving your sisters and that is what I taught you to do and you did that, you helped them live so did Neteyam." Jake said with a slight sad smile on his face as he brought his son closer to his side.
"But we are here to heal one another, Tuk is very sad because she didn't even get to say goodbye, but she has you and you are to protect her and Kiri like you did before." He looked down at his son as he soon got up and walked off. "Lo'ak!" Tuk yelled as he ran over to Lo'ak with a slight sad smile. "Do you want to go finishing with me? And get food for dinner?" She asked him.
"Yes, I would like taht very much." And with that he picked her up and walked out of there hut and went to a fishing spot that only there parents knew of. "Ok so all you have to do is pull back and let go, aim for the heart and make sure your elbow is up to your head." Lo'ak instructed the young girl and she let go of the arrow and hit it in the heart just like he said, "Look! I did it!" Sh3 smiled up at him brother as she picked it up.
What they didn't know was taht their parents were watching them from behind the trees with a smile. "He will make an amazing big brother." Jake said smiling at his wife, "We may have lost someone very important to our family, but he is with Eywa and he will leave at piece watching down on us." Ney'tiri said looking at Jake with a sad smiling.
Kiri soon walked up to Lo'ak and Tuk, "Kiri! Look what I caught!" Tuk yelled and showed her the fish, "Wow, that's one big fish." She smiled at her younger sister. "Yeah! I hope mom and dad will like it!" She smiled and when she mentioned the parents they jumped down from the tree and walked up to their children.
"That is a big fish." Jake said as he gently took it from the young girl, "We are very proud of you, Tuk. We are proud of all you." Ney'tiri said looking at all her children with a smile. "This family is a fortress that no one can brake, we will heal again and become what we were, Neteyam died saving you guys, he would want us to be happy, he died knowing that his siblings were alive and breathing." Jake said as they all started tearing up, then they hugged and smiled at each other. "He will always be here with us, this family is our fortress, wherever we go, this family is our home." Jake smiled at his family and hugged them tightly.
