a/n: i typically don't write for damon, however i feel comfortable writing this subject matter and i'm getting better with understanding his character. honestly, too, i rewatched s7 and i'm starting to love him even more. (i just love the traumatized characters.)

also, i'm not good at titles. my first title had the word 'put' in it, but i stared at it so long, it didn't look like a word anymore and i had to change it. i think i like this one better. i stg, titles are half the reason i take so long to post. whew, anyway... enjoy ❤️

“Stefan needs help at Whitmore,” Damon says hurriedly. He puts his phone in his back pocket and sighs. “Another Enzo situation.”

“Do you want me to come?”

“No, you stay here. I don’t want him anywhere near you, given he’s in one of his moods and would hurt you for no reason.” He gives you a quick kiss. “I’ll be right back.”

“Okay.”

He speeds out the door a moment later, leaving you alone in the large, empty house. You sigh. Your life is so full of supernatural drama, it’s hard to keep up. Honestly, you’re not even sure what the situation is with Enzo, or why he and Stefan hate each other so much, or how Damon knows what to do to de-escalate their arguments. Of course, Caroline debriefed you on it sometime ago, but with all the craziness happening lately, it pretty much went over your head. 

It’s been hard these last few months. Only recently had Damon returned to you from four months after being considered dead, alongside Bonnie, as the other side collapsed with him in it. Those months had been the hardest of your life, and you doubted your ability to make it through them. Losing your best friend and your boyfriend was something you never thought you’d have to endure, yet it happened. Losing them almost killed you, too. 

For three years, you were clean. You hadn’t touched a single blade since you and Damon got serious. He gave you a reason to stop without even knowing it, and with a lot of patience with yourself, you managed to kick the addiction. After he died, though, when you couldn’t bear to live without him, you picked it back up. Part of you is pissed for falling back into your old ways, but the other part has convinced yourself it’s what you need to do to survive. 

When he came back unexpectedly, you were filled with just as much panic as you were joy. You had him back, but had relapsed majorly, and now have to recount your old steps into being sober again. It hasn’t been easy. 

It’s been a couple days since your last time, and while your skin’s no longer bright and swollen, it seems to beg for your attention. You have to plan it carefully, making sure Damon will be gone long enough that he won’t sense the fresh blood. When he grabs your wrists to kiss your face, you don’t want to flinch in slight pain, or let him pick up a chance in your heartbeat. 

It’s such a complicated addiction to have when dating a vampire, yet fighting the urges are so hard, sometimes you can’t help but give into them. 

The blades in the bathroom are ready for you when you enter. A brand new pack sits in the drawer. The boys won’t miss one or two. The one time Stefan did notice, you blabbered a quick lie about needing one to scrape a bit of food dried to the stovetop. He was in such a rush that day, he didn’t catch any lie, and you were able to smile and flee the scene a moment later. Since then, you make sure to hold onto the one you have until there’s enough to not see one missing. 

With everyone seemingly involved in the Enzo situation, you don’t bother to shut the door completely before dragging the blade across your skin. The boarding house is empty, and this bathroom in particular is tucked away nicely behind the stairs. You make a few scattered cuts and watch the blood seep from them. It always seems to calm you in the most grotesque way, and, quite ironically, gives you the perfect dopamine rush that raises your spirits despite the pain. It’s a terrible addiction but with a high reward… until you have to hide the evidence. 

That little reminder makes you sigh. Too many scars are hard to hide, and with Damon back, you have to be careful. It would break him to see you this way; that thought alone makes you put down the blade. For a moment longer, you stare at the tricking blood, committing the sight to memory to maybe fend off the next urge. To imagine the blood on your skin may convince yourself it’s there, and maybe you won’t cut the next time you’re so desperate. Maybe. 

You reach for a piece of toilet paper to dab the wounds. The bleeding needs to stop before you crave another scare. It’s so tempting, but-

“Hey,” Damon appears suddenly, peeking through the door. His eyes are narrowed, as if sensing something’s wrong. “What are you doing?”

You turn to face him and hold your hands around your back quickly. “Nothing.”

“Are you sure?” He opens the door a little wider, seeing the reflection of your hidden hands in the mirror. “Let me see your arms.”

“I’m okay.” Nervously, you pull down your sleeves to hide your wounds as much as possible. Your eyes meet the floor, unable to lie if you look into his blues.

“No, you’re not.” He argues, anxious to see your face; to not let you shy away and avoid his gaze. His approach makes your heart race, confirming his worst fears. “Let me see.”

“I thought you were leaving. I thought Stefan needed you.”

“He does, but he can wait.”

“But-”

“You’re my first priority. I can tell something’s up. Please,” he brushes a hair away from your face, “let me in.”

“Damon, I’m fine.”

“You’re hurting, and I can smell the blood, and I’m really trying hard not to freak out right now.”

You huff at the realization that he could smell it. You should’ve waited for him to be gone longer before breaking your skin. “Promise me you won’t be mad.”

“Why would I be mad?”

“Just promise me.” Tears well in your eyes, but you let them fall, unwilling to take your hands off your sleeves. 

“Y/N, I promise. I could never be mad. Just let me see it.”

Slowly, you release your sleeves, but leave the task of rolling them up to him. You can’t bear to do it yourself. Damon takes one hand gently and pulls the sleeve back. Upon seeing the numerous cuts, he pulls the other back with a little more vigor, but is still careful not to hurt you. He stares, unable to speak or move, as his heart breaks with every passing second. 

“I’m so sorry,” you whisper. His eyes meet yours and you finally break down into tears. 

Without a moment of hesitation, he pulls you into a hug, wrapping his arms protectively around your body. You feel safe in his arms, you always do. Damon has a way about him that always makes you feel safe, no matter what anyone else thinks of him. He’s loyal and understanding, and that is part of the reason you feel so horrible for not telling him this. 

“I’m sorry,” you repeat, now sobbing into his chest. 

Your heart beats and reminds him that you are alive. The cuts made into your skin weren’t deep enough to take you. The pain you have been feeling hasn’t swallowed you whole. He concentrates on your breathing, and your crying, and uses it to anchor himself before asking the thousands of questions flooding his mind. 

He pulls away, finally, and wipes your tears with his thumbs. His hands grip your shoulders with a gentle desperation, as if he’s afraid you could dissipate at any moment. 

“Y/N…”

“I didn’t mean for you to find out this way.”

“Did you mean for me to find out at all?”

Your heart feels heavy as you reply, “honestly, no.”

“Why not tell me, Y/N? You know I love you. If you’re hurting, I want to be there for you.”

“I know… I guess I just didn’t want to disappoint you? Some part of me was embarrassed about it, and I didn’t want you to see me differently because of it. I don’t know.” 

“Baby, there’s nothing you could do that’d ever make me love you less. Nothing that would ever make me feel a different way, or see you in another light.”

“I know. I know my feelings are totally irrational, I just… they’re fears.”

“I understand.” He kisses your forehead, then releases your shoulders to hold your hands and kiss them, too. “Hey, can you promise me something?”

“I can try.”

“Come to me the next time you’re feeling like you want to hurt yourself, okay? Let me help you through it.”

“But-”

“It doesn’t matter what’s going on, or who’s texting, I will drop anything and put you first. But you gotta let me in when you need it. Okay?”

“Okay.” You take a deep breath. “Thank you.”

“Of course. Now,” he pauses, biting into his arm and holding it out for you to drink. His other hand meets the back of your head, stabilizing your neck to keep you comfortable. 

To his dismay, you refuse. You try to pull away, but his other hand prevents that, so you look down instead. “I can’t.”

“Y/N…”

“The scars are a reminder that I bleed. As soon as they fade away, the urge returns, but if they’re there for a little while, the urge is less strong. They’re kind of a comfort, I think. A reminder.”

“So you don’t want me to heal them?”

“I’d rather not. They don’t bother me too much. Do they bother you?”

You can see the hesitation in his eyes. He fights with himself, knowing the sight is a reminder of your pain, but understands their existence helps you heal. After a moment, he shakes his head. “No, baby, I only care that you’re safe.” He kisses them one more time. “Have you eaten much today?”

“Not really.”

“Well… do you mind if I make you something, even if it’s just something small, and then we can sit together on the couch? We’ll take today slow.”

“Okay. Wait, but what about Stefan?”

“Caroline can handle it. Then he’ll be in her debt and she’ll be happy about it,” he jokes.

You smile, appreciating his humor despite the somber mood hanging above both your heads. He’s the light in dark times, the much needed laugh that breaks the awkward silence. It’s part of the reason you fell for him so quickly. 

“Are you sure?”

“Positive.”

“Okay. And thank you.”

He pulls you in to kiss your forehead, then reaches for your hand. “Of course.”

I’m just trying to do my job(I actually like cleaning) and get a handle on Grim’s ridiculous ass and this man starts explaining the 7 and I’m like “nah I know who they are. They’re a little different where I come from” I explain their villainy and I had this man fighting for his life defending the seven it was hilarious. I had Grim by the scruff so he didn’t run but then ace started disrespecting my boy and calling him a weasel and at that point I was like “fuck you” and let Grim have at him. I said no fire and this damn cat throws fire at him anyway. Smh burnt the statue then Crowley’s bitch ass comes in

I hate him so much. Nah and the whole way to the cave was just ugly looks and silence you could cut with a knife. Then when we get there and get in the cave Deuce was bitching Ace out and tried to drag me into it so I chimed in that I was just trying to do my job and Ace started being a cunt. Deuce looked so pissed and shrieked at him that

We show it to Crowley get dismissed back to our dorms and I get woken up by a knock on my door. Who is it other than Ace. Now I knew this would happen and he’d show up but I was still annoyed.

Now this is important cuz that’s what I was wearing when I answered the door cuz I wasn’t expecting him to just barge his big ass through the door before I even told him he could. He explained ever that happened with Riddle and I told him he was stupid cuz who tf eats someone else’s food in the dorm before asking bro. Fucking moron. He has this adorable ass pout I just wanna boop him sometimes lol nah but I let him stay.

Tell me why this slut really looked me up and down, smirks and said “wow, you sure got comfortable, we sharing a bed?”

so now steve has both bracelets and he should probably just throw them out but he can’t bring himself to do it, so they sit in his “box of things in the back of my closet that mean something to me and i don’t want my parents to find” for years until the night after the boathouse gets him thinking again, and he grabs them on an impulse as they’re leaving, but there’s a hole in the pocket of his sweatpants so he gives them to robin to hold onto.

and then everything goes to hell.

and when eddie calls his name as they’re marching off to war, he can’t stand that look on his face, like he’s resigned, like they’ve already lost, and he needs eddie’s head in the game because eddie is the one he’s trusting to look after henderson, so he thinks “oh. i can fix this. i can comfort him. i can make him the promise i should have made then.”

and he turns to robin like “bobs, do you still have the-“ and he waves his arms around hip level, and she’s like “oh! shit really? for him huh? ok yeah here” and she pulls out two bracelets eddie hasn’t seen since he was 13 years old and he can’t breathe for a second because what??? he assumed steve would have thrown them out! they don’t even look faded! (and in the background nancy and dustin are like tf is this really the time?? but we’re ignoring that guys they’re having a Moment! god!)

and steve grabs eddie’s wrist and ties on a bracelet eddie spent the last 7 years thinking he had never even made at all, but despite the lack of wear it’s obviously as old as the others, so he must have had it with him that last day and just decided at the last minute to do what he did instead, and what the hell is eddie supposed to do with that knowledge? (nothing right now dumbass you have a wizard to fight get your head in the game) and steve finishes tying it on and hands eddie the other one, the one he remembers making all those years ago, and holds out his own wrist, and eddie’s hands are shaking but he remembers how to do this, and steve is saying “same rules as always, right? when we come out the other side, back to the real world,” (because summer never felt like the real world back then, it was always a liminal space, a pocket dimension where nothing mattered but the two of them, and isn’t that an ironic thought now) “it’s you and me. i’ll still be here. i couldn’t promise you then but i’m promising now, ok?”

and eddie takes a shaky breath and runs his fingers over the bracelet he thought no one remembered but him, and what can he say to that except “give him hell, stevie,” because it’s not like he’s the one doing the dangerous thing. and he’s not the one who didn’t promise to come back all those years ago. there’s no need for him to promise in return, because surely steve knows. he doesn’t have to say the words out loud. so he doesn’t.

and later, in dustin’s arms, he’s glad he didn’t. he wouldn’t want to have to break this promise.

I’m on season 3 of house md now and I have the most annoying problem with it lmao I’m tired of the medical stuff. I just wanna watch House go thru his lil drama and legal stuff and problems with his friends, I really don’t care about like a firefighter or whoever that’s sick with the latest medical thing I don’t understand. This show is so formulaic but also I can’t stop watching now because I’m way too invested in what House is gonna do next. The hold this silly addict doctor has on me is insane. But I’m also gonna go insane forcing myself to watch 40 mins of a doctor show for like 10 good minutes of House. Why are the episodes so longgg. And so predictable like. You KNOW the first three things they try won’t work, so there’s no point in getting invested. I can almost skip to the last 5 mins of the show because that’s where the actually interesting stuff happens. Stg I could write an episode of house md myself if I knew enough medical jargon. Here watch I’ll draft an episode myself:

We begin the episode and there’s a person doing Something. The visual effects are layered with either a hazy or disoriented film to indicate their vision is wonky. The person either coughs or grabs their chest. Either way they Pass Out, and we fade to black.

Next scene opens, and it’s probably House. He’s playing with one of his toys or just standing their looking like the incredible dilf he is. He’s so swag and cool and he’s gonna string Cuddy along for a bit until he finally agrees to take the case she’s offering him (shocker! Wow show, you really had me going there, I totally thought he WOULDNT take the case this episode!)

The case is the person we saw in the opening. Then we go to Houses office. House talks with Cameron Chase and Foreman about what causes the patients symptoms. House writes on a whiteboard. He will say something uncomfortably racist to Foreman (uncertain if such a thing was funny in 2005). He will shoot down Cameron and Chase’s ideas as well, but in a way that triggers Chase’s daddy issues and just makes Cameron swoon over him more. He may remark on Cameron’s body. He’ll explain what the problem with the patient is using a long-winded metaphor, treating his staff like crap but also giving the audience more understanding of what’s going on. This is not a bad thing. I’m starstruck by his baby-blue eyes and stubble and I want him to keep talking. This is house at his best, full of arrogance. Love to see it. Spirits are high, and the staff goes off to run tests and deliver treatment.

Then, to EVERYONES surprise, the tests/first treatments don’t work!! Oh no!! And now the patient is just getting WORSE and there’s something wrong with their LIVER and they’re gonna DIE. Cameron Chase and Foreman stress out, and argue over some sort of ethical debate. Foreman and one of the other two go break into a house.

Meanwhile House is living his best life by being an ass at the Clinic. If we’re lucky, he’s dealing with a horny grandma or being oddly sweet to some kid, and the visit is interesting. If we’re unlucky, it’s some middle-aged man that has the sniffles or something humorously wrong with his penis.

Now it is time for the Revelation. Through either talking with his boyfriend/hetrosexual life partner Wilson (who is the bestest boy every I love him and his pathetic lil face so much) or through reflecting on a Clinic visit, he will Connect a Clue and realize the solution to the case!! Whoa! Everything’s connected!

Then boom treatment and everything is great the end :33 patient didn’t die, even though the show REALLY wanted you to think they would.

If you’re lucky, the episode also had House go through an emotional thing or a fight or something that shows more depth to his character. That part is great, and less predictable then the rest.

Look I love this show but oh my god it’s mind-numbing sometimes. Literally just need a few episodes where we don’t have the ‘strange unsolved case’ A plot getting in the way of the stuff I care about. Anyways yeah lmao I’m done now

your lips curl inward, pushing down the sob that threatens to come up and make you stop. “maybe but that doesn’t stop everyone else from saying it! don’t you hear the whispers whenever we are out together and your clan elders aren’t happy with me either. as the eldest and the commissioner of the entire yashiro commission, the most reliable of the tri commissions, it is your duty to marry someone good, someone that can keep up with your political affairs and has a good social standing.”

“who told you that? you know i don’t give a shit about any of that, all i want is you by my side and i will fight anyone who believes differently.” he’s forcefully turned you to look at him now, hoping your resolve will crumble by seeing the tears that roll down his face. hoping that his words can change your mind.

“it hurts to leave you, i loved you ayato. i did but i’m not cut out for this life and i never will be, fight who you want but it changes nobody’s view that i am not good enough for you. and i’m sure you know better than anyone that it’s true. you only liked me because you like to rebel against tradition, but you knew it was never going to work out long-term.”

your words of self pity aren’t, wrong but he won’t stand to let you be consumed by it, “but i can make it go away, you know that i-”

“no, i’m sorry ayato there’s nothing you can do now. haven’t you heard that you have to let go of those you love. it’s time for you to let go of me, i’m holding you back. but because i have this absolutely overwhelming love for you, i'm willing to let go so that you can be the best yashiro commissioner yet.”

he sinks to his knees wordlessly, your hand still in his grasp. you stay silent waiting for a response, and when you don’t get one you bow to him, “thank you for your time, commissioner. i’ll stay out of your way now.” you pull away your hand and walk out of the room, all your belongings in tow.

ayato stays sunken into the floor as he sobs silently, not brave enough to watch you walk away.

diluc:

“why do you always forget about yourself, luc?” you half scolded him while you dabbed at the wound on his shoulder with an alcohol pad. “it’s okay to think about yourself once in a while, ya know.”

he hisses at the sting and grumbles out a response, “i can’t be selfish when mondstadt still needs to be protected.”

“well i want to be selfish, i want to keep you by my side, i want to go to sleep with you in our bed for one night and wake up to you there in the morning! is that wrong?” you exclaim, trying to make eye contact with him and gauge his feelings, but he turns away.

“but mondstadt,” he starts, but you’re quick to cut him off by pressing down on his wounded shoulder once more.

you huff angrily and start wrapping his arm up.“if i’m not important to you then what is the point of this relationship? i feel like i’m just another attendant at your manor, not the person you should come home to at night or confide in. we’re practically strangers right now luc.”

when you’re done you throw the supplies down angrily because of his refusal to even give you an answer. you try to look at him again but he remains with his gaze fixed to the side.

“ok, i’ll have my things out by tomorrow then.” you retreat to your shared bedroom, if you can call it that anymore, not expecting him to follow you.

and he doesn’t. diluc doesn’t walk through the big oak doors and tell you he wants you to stay and that you do mean something to him. if anything you suspect that he’s gone out again as darknight, protecting his precious mondstadt.

you walk out the front of the winery and adelinde stops you, “don’t tell anyone what you know about the young master. you know that we are very well connected, so we will know if you decide to have loose lips.”

your nose crinkles as you pretend to smile and nod at the poorly disguised threat. with a heavy heart and sigh you leave the winery, knowing there’s no one left to stop you from going.

diluc watches out the window from your once shared bedroom as you leave. he understands it’s better this way, even if it leaves yet another hole in his heart.

kaeya:

you storm out of the tavern and you hear his unmistakable footsteps behind you. you continue to walk but you need to get your thought out. you whirl around to find him reluctantly following you. “you used me, i trusted you! and to find out that you’ve just been stringing me along for fun.”

“i did always say no strings attached, darling. so if anything it’s your fault for feeling ’strung along’ as you said.” he replies coldly, obviously not wanting to even discuss this.

“unbelievable! how could you tell me that you love me? that there was something between us?” you’re still fuming, hands clenched by your side as you demand answers out of the calvary captain.

“maybe they were the truth at one point, but once you served your share of entertainment…” he trails off, leaving you to fill in the blank.

“i hate you and your stupid charming words. i hate myself for ever having fallen for you.” you try to sound mad but the break in your voice tells kaeya that you’re not far from tears.

he watches you receding figure disappear down the cobbled road as you make your way home. he really believed that there should be no strings attached. kaeya couldn’t afford that even if he had to sever the ones tied to his own heart.

kaeya hates that everything he just said was a lie in an attempt to get you to leave him, and it worked. of course it worked, he knows you inside and out and you’re on the forefront of his mind at all times.

but it's because of this that he knows you will be better off without him. it’s easiest for you if you hate him instead, makes it easier for you to forget you ever loved him.

but he’ll never forget the warmth of your love.

kazuha:

“i can’t go kazu. my whole life is here, it’s not for me to uproot it all for you.”

“but it’s not reasonable for me to stay here with you either,” he tells you softly.

“why not? why is it so bad to settle down and stay here with me? am i not worth your time and you’d really rather be out wandering?” you question him.

he quickly elevates your own worries when he doesn’t answer. “it seems we have reached an impasse, darling.”

“no. tell me. am i not good enough for you to settle down with?”

“that’s not it and you know it.” he seems to grow frustrated at your persistent questioning.

“well, if you can’t find an answer then maybe it is best if we stop seeing each other. you wouldn’t be able to see me while you’re out and about adventuring either way. don’t bother coming back to see me.”

you storm out and he lets you. he doesn't have an answer for you but he hopes after you cool down that you’ll be back.

kazuha waits right up until beidou is calling him onto the crux, telling him that he’ll be left behind if he doesn’t board. he hangs his head with resignation, giving up on his wish for you to show.

it appeared that the wind was not leading him to a happy ending with you and after your harsh words there’s no hope for him to return to your arms.

seems fate liked to be cruel to him, destined for a life of solitude on the sea.

I’m gonna go ahead and put a tentative “fix” for all of these since I can’t go back and test all of them, but as far as coding goes, these all look correct at the moment. If you’re still encountering a certain bug feel free to let me know!

porco will do anything you want him to do. but a favorite of his is to just go out and explore downtown marley. there’s no specific goal you’re both trying to achieve, just going where the day takes you. downtown marley is crowded, so he’s got a hand holding yours the entire time to ensure you don’t get lost. you’ll both stop in a few different stores, his favorite is whatever the aot equivalent to bath and body works is and the lingerie shop. he wants to buy stuff for you to show he cares, and you’ll probably leave with a bag or two full of different clothes, and just random things you two thought were cool. the one place he insists on stopping at is the deli. he always gets something with at least two kinds of meat, and will pay for yours as well. the day ends with getting back home and doing some cuddling on the couch while he falls asleep on your lap.

B is for Beauty- what do they admire about their s/o? what do they think is beautiful about them?

porcos favorite feature about you is the way you smile and laugh, also your hands. each time you laugh at one of his jokes, he turns a deep red at the fact that someone finds him entertaining. his world seems to light up when you’re happy and smile at him, and he will cherish each time you do so. he also loves your hands, they’re just perfect for holding and he loves to intertwine your fingers.

C is for Comfort- how would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

porco would do anything in his power to make sure you’re smiling by the end of the day. when his s/o feels down, he picks up on it very quickly and immediately asks what’s wrong, and who is causing you this pain. he would want you to take things slow for the day, he’ll be doing all the work for the next 24 hours. if you want affection, he will hold you while you cry into his shoulder. there’s a good chance he will cry with you, since he is upset seeing you like this. when you’re having a panic attack, he drops everything to get to you. if you’re immobilized by the emotion, he will carry you to a secluded room if there’s one nearby to give you some quiet with him. he will embrace you like he never has before, stroking your hair and whispering “you’ll be alright, i’m here honey. take your time.” he will be more understanding if you’re not okay by the end of the day since he knows these things are serious and he wants to make sure you’re completely okay before resuming back to normal.

D is for Dreams- how do they picture their future with their s/o?

porco dreams of having a family with you. once the war is over, he will make it a priority to get the two of you married and move out to a house in marley. porco absolutely adores children, so he would probably two with you. he wants two boys that can have the same kind of bond that he and marcel had. he would probably have enough money at this point that he could retire because of his service in the war, so he will become a stay home dad and watch his two boys. and he will probably name one of his sons marcel jr.

E is for Equal- are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

porco wants both of you to have the same level of commitment and dominance in the relationship.

F is for Fight- would they be easy to forgive their s/o? how are they fighting?

porco has a temper. he’s quick to snap. the fighting was likely initiated by him, possibly because he saw you hanging around reiner for too long today. it never gets violent, but porco can’t control what comes out of his mouth sometimes. he might throw an insult here and there. if you leave the room in tears, he will beat himself up over it and once he’s given you some space, he will apologize while trying to hold back tears because he feels like a shitty boyfriend for doing this to you. if you’re the one who apologizes first, he will pretend to act mad but really he’s not deep down inside because he loves you that much.

G is for Gratitude- how grateful are they in general? are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

porco might not say it, but he appreciates what you’re doing for him. instead, he will do things in return to show he’s grateful, i’ll get into that later down the list. he is overall pretty aware of how dedicated his s/o is to him.

H is for Honesty- do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? or do they share everything?

the only reason that you know everything that’s up with porco is because he vents to you very often. he does keep his fair share of secrets though, but they are very minor- except one. most of his secrets are about the war, one of his best kept and worst secrets about him was that he killed a child while at war with the mid east allied forces. he still feels terrible about it to this day, and wouldn’t want you finding out about what he did during the war.

I is for Inspirational- did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

you likely changed porco more than he changed you. porco has a tough guy exterior and was pretty self absorbed before meeting you, but he learned that it was okay to cry and let his guard down around you. he also became a little more selfless, since he would do anything to protect you. 

J is for Jealousy- do they get jealous easily? how do they deal with it?

porco is one to get jealous very easily. he’s possessive too. if he sees you hanging around reiner for a minute too long, he holds a grudge on you. he doesn’t speak to you for the rest of the day, and when you meet up with him to head back to your bedrooms, he just says “so reiner is gonna replace me, huh?” and walks off without another word. you’re gonna have to smother him in kisses to let him know you still love him more than anyone else, and stay the night while he clings to you in his sleep.

K is for Kissing- are they a good kisser? what was the first kiss like?

porco loves to kiss. he’s amazing at it too. his kisses are sloppy, lazy, slow, and teasing, with a lot of tongue and spit. his favorite place to kiss is on your bed just to get some privacy to do whatever you want. he especially loves when you’re both half naked and kissing so he can feel your skin on his. the first kiss was in town next to a fountain, where he confessed his feelings to you. you told him to close his eyes and you went in for it, and he kissed you back instantly. the blush on his cheeks was insane once you pulled away.

L is for Love Confession- how would they confess to their s/o?

after the festival in liberio, he stood with you and watched the fountain in town square. you made a comment on how pretty his eyes looked in the moonlight, and he made a bad attempt at complimenting your face, which made you giggle. hearing you laugh made the butterflies errupt in his stomach, and he knew he couldn’t hide it anymore. he said, “look y/n, i have no clue if you’re gonna hate me after what i’m about to say, if you think i’m weird just say something, but i like you. i have since i met you, and i think i want to be with you- oh god, i don’t even like you, i love you-“ you had to shut him up and kiss him on the lips before he started to ramble about how much he loves you.

M is for Marriage- do they want to get married? how do they propose? what would the marriage be like?

of course porco would want to get married, he’s a family man. he would probably propose somewhere very informally, like you two were talking about it one day and he’s like “well i mean there’s no better person than you that i would want to marry, you would make a wonderful wife-“ and that’s how it all started. you two got married in a church in liberio, with pieck as the maid of honor and zeke as the best man. he cried when he saw you in that white gown, he thought you looked like a princess. the marriage would be fun and laid back, you two would travel a lot before settling down about a year later.

N is for Nicknames- what do they call their s/o?

he calls you “babe” and “baby” a lot. occasionally he will call you “honey” or a variation of your name.

O is for On Cloud Nine- what are they like when they are in love? is it obvious for others? how do they express their feelings?

he’s a flustered, bashful baby. if you even look his way he will turn red. he tries to show off his skills, and wants to make himself stand out above the rest. he does his hair with extra care in the morning and starts to wash his face to make his skin look better. pieck picks up on it first, and she will occasionally say something about it, but all porco will do is grumble something and brush it off. zeke will notice and say something as well. porco expresses his feelings by occasionally complimenting you on your outfit, and sneaking a touch here and there like if he’s brushing a stray piece of hair out of your face. if you do the same to him, his brain will stop working for a moment.

P is for PDA- are they upfront about their relationship? do they brag with their s/o in front of others? or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

porco is a big fan of pda and bragging. especially if you’re within 10 feet of reiner. he makes it very known that he’s taken, the first time he walked into the meeting room in front of the other warriors he literally announced, “oh yeah, y/n is my girlfriend now. just thought you guys should know.” he loves to talk about you with the other guys, not in a bad way but like sharing stories about time you two spent together, how wonderful you are, and quite frankly the other guys are kind of tired of hearing a new story about you every hour. porco won’t hesitate to kiss or show affection in public, not full out making out but like a medium length kiss on the lips is acceptable. he’s always got his hands on you in public too, like an arm slung around your shoulder or just holding your hand. he wants everyone to know you’re his.

Q is for Quirk- some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.

not quite sure if this is beneficial in the relationship but he gives the best piggyback rides. he has a really strong back that’s able to lift you up and he loves hearing your little giggles as he hoists you up into the air and onto his back. then he will run all around the place with you on his back in a fruitful attempt to make you laugh and smile.

R is for Romance- how romantic are they? what would they do to make their s/o happy? cliché or rather creative?

porco is in general a very romantic person. he will always treat you and try to make you happy just like to do to him. one of his favorite things to do for you is to take you out to some expensive restaurant in the rich part of marley and treat you to dinner. he wears his best suit and thinks you look absolutely stunning in that outfit of yours, which makes a little blush bloom on his face. he is vocal when it comes to telling you “i love you” and will say it to you at least 3 times a day. when you come back from an expedition in the mid east, he will be waiting for you in the train station with a big sign that says “welcome home y/n” and a bouquet of roses.

S is for Support- are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? do they believe in them?

porco thinks you should go for whatever makes you happy. he doesn’t exactly know how to help, but he will give you words of encouragement- like “you’re doing so well babe!” or “i love how you’re so determined, keep it up!” he truly does believe you can achieve whatever goal you’re working towards, he has a lot of faith in you.

T is for Thrill- do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? or do they prefer a certain routine?

porco loves change, and he would like a new way of doing things. it can be anything from going to a different place for dinner or waking up at a different time, he just wants things to always be different. he values thrill and spice to your relationship, it’s a key element to dating him.

U is for Understanding- how good do they know their partner? are they empathetic?

he will slowly learn more about you throughout your relationship, but empathy is something he needs to work on. every new bit of information he learns about his parter surprises him, and he makes a mental note of it to use for later. empathy is different though, because of his tough guy exterior he didn’t find empathy easy in the beginning. in fact, the first time you vented to him he said something along the lines of “well? get over it. it’s not worth dwelling on it.” when you ran off crying, from then on he made sure to never say that again.

V is for Value- how important is the relationship to them? what is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?

your relationship is one of the reasons why he keeps fighting with the war going on. he wants to have that future with you and live a peaceful life after, so in a way it’s a priority.

W is for Wild Card- a random fluff headcanon.

porco is a blanket hog when you go to sleep together. he doesn’t realize it but after he starts to sleep, he will grab the blanket and roll himself in it so that he’s in a blanket burrito and your shivering on the other side. he also snores very loudly. if you wake him up to tell him he will begrudgingly give you some of the blanket, but then he gets cold. he will cling to you the entire night in an effort to keep warm.

X is for XOXO- are they very affectionate? do they love to kiss and cuddle?

porco is a cuddle bug once you get to know him. he especially loves to cuddle in bed or on the couch. he loves it when you fall asleep on him so he can see how pretty your face is when you sleep. porco kisses you many times per day. on the neck, lips, cheek, collarbone, hand, anywhere he can have access to. he loves it when you kiss him back and leave a hickey or love bite.

Y is for Yearning- how will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

he will try to keep in contact with their partner and keep something of theirs by his side always until they come back. if the time is okay, he will write you letters and expect you to write one back saying that you’re alright. he will grab a t shirt you wore out of the hamper and sleep with it for the night because it smells like you. he also might cry a little because he misses you, and he will shed a tear once you come back home with the biggest hug and kiss.

Z is for Zeal- are they willing to go to great lenghts for the relationship? if so, what kind of?

porco would go lengths for the relationship, especially if your life was on the line. he would do everything in his power to make sure you’re safe and comfortable. this is lowkey funny but if you two were in immediate danger, he would let you ride on the back of his titan while he runs to safety. he would sacrifice his life for you as well.
