May 30th - 16:33 - Afterschool
Ren was still in the middle of hastily reading Futaba’s texts from hours ago when he opened the door to his family home and found his mother pacing in the genkan.
“...Mom, wha-?”
“I got a call from your school,” she says instead of hello. Ren freezes. Mona shifts in his bag. There’s silence for a second too long, but his mother quickly catches his tense posture and readjusts her approach. There haven’t been any arguments in a week and she doesn’t want to make this a new one.
“The counselor said you were fighting with a first-year,” she starts in a more inviting tone, but she tenses when she sees how quickly Ren’s cautious neutral face shifts into a frown.
“I-I just want to know what happened,” she says.
Ren releases an angry huff instead of turning around and leaving because he recognizes that his mother isn’t trying to jump to conclusions--that she trying to hear his side--but he still has hours worth of bad emotions at the forefront of his mind, so he kicks off his sneakers without undoing the laces and haphazardly drops them on the shoe rack before he allows himself to say anything.
Of course, because he is an angry idiot, his first response is: “There was no fight. It was just an argument,” and he snaps his mouth closed because that is exactly what a delinquent guilty of starting a fight would say and Makoto would be so disappointed in him right now. Morgana delivers her phantom message with a disapproving really, Joker?
His mother guiltily shifts her hands, one eyebrow twitching at Morgana’s muffled meow.
“I just used the words of the counselor,” she amends, gesturing for Ren to enter the family room.
When they enter, she sits at one side of the rickety couch and pats the other seat. She smiles with some invitation, a dash of hesitance, and a sprinkle of uncertainty as if she has no clue how to speak to her teenage son. She looks at him sort of like he’s a child, but at least she doesn’t seem afraid of him like she was before Golden Week.
Ren joins her at the couch, releases Morgana on to the space between them so he doesn’t have to think about the distance, and conjures up how he can best explain the events of the morning in the least incriminating way (shouldn’t have to, he thinks, didn’t do nothing wrong in the first place) but his mother recognizes his thinking face before he can start.
“W-whatever you say, I’ll believe you, sweetie,” she encourages honestly. He can tell she means it because she tucks her hands in between her knees and tilts her legs in the picture perfect display of humble motherliness to hide how her legs would bounce otherwise. He turns to face her a bit, legs spread out and back slouched in a show of teenage indifference, despite his nervous right leg and the rhythmic flickers of light that bounce off of his phone case as he deftly spins his smartphone in his left hand.
“You mean that?” he can’t help but ask, belying his blase posture.
His mother nods with lips pursed, proving to her son that she has no intention of speaking over him. Emboldened yet reluctant, Ren begins the recount of his day at school.
theater food
Ren slides into his seat while Hamuko and Ryuji chatter away about beef bowl places. Their enthusiastic discussion about cheap, fast, good food is not helping Ren’s patience or hunger. Usually Ren’s been in charge of the food prep because he’s the only one who knows how to make something all of the Thieves plus Hamuko will eat, but when they left Kamoshitty City today, Theodore pleasantly requested if he could make a recipe he’s been working on, which Hamuko had endorsed immediately.
Ren agreed because Theodore is really hot and the thought of him buzzing around the kitchen is appealing enough, but around 40 minutes later, Ren is very hungry and is cursing his inability to disagree with tall hot people. To distract himself, he tries to brainstorm ways to free Haru and Makoto from Kamoshit-man’s unproportionately buff grasp, but his brain keeps snapping back to his teammates’ loud discussions and Theodore in a heart apron and himself in a cute pinafore sharing a festival smoothie--the romantic ones with the heart shaped straw--under the setting sun. He doesn’t even like smoothies.
From the other corner of the weird theater lunch tables Futaba sends him a blank look that implies that she can hear his raging gay thoughts. Ren sticks his tongue out at her, and to Futaba’s left, Nagi raises a thin eyebrow and points at herself as though she thought he was talking to her. Embarrassed but never one to lose, Ren sticks out his tongue again at her paired with a flirtatious wink. At the head of the table beside Ren, Akechi makes a face. Futaba gags. Unaffected, Nagi returns her attention to Yusuke’s analysis of Hamuko’s preferred color palette for her hypothetical thief costume.
Ren’s phone buzzes in his pocket, and he fishes it out, wondering how someone managed to text him while he’s in a magical dimension theater metaphor place. He quickly gives up that train thought when he sees Futaba’s SNS username. A quick glance up shows that she’s pointedly staring at her phone, so he swipes open the message.
wat did theo say he was making?
i hungr
idk
worried u wont like it?
duh
if hes anything like those tsuntsun twins he’ll probably poison it
...i didnt think of that
prolly not though. i mean hamuko trusts him
ur only saying that cuz hes a pretty boy
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
for real though he wouldnt
The twins would without a doupt
*akechi voice* haha it was merely a jest!
DSKLFASLDKFSD STOP HES RIGHT
HES RIHGT NEXT TO ME ASSHOEL
“Food’s ready!” Theodore announces over Ren and Futaba’s unsubtle snickers. Somehow, Theodore has acquired two shining serving platters.
“Theo, you’re the best!” Hamuko says, standing up immediately to help him serve because she (and Haru) is the sweetest person in the universe.
“Thanks,” Ren tacks on because he’s ‘in charge’ and he’s supposed to ‘set good examples’. He does not, however, stand up to help because he is lazy.
The rest of the group is already chorusing thank yous and crowding around the food like hungry animals. Makoto is not around to tell them that they’re acting like children. Akechi is patiently waiting for everyone to get out of the way before he serves himself, which is probably a smarter idea than Ren who’s walking around the table so he can insert himself between Ann and Ryuji, the most destructive eaters of their current group. Yusuke, another main offender however justified, already has a bowl full of what appears to be noodles, veggies, and chicken covered in a savory sauce.

Baby Bump, Ch. 3 AKA Way Too Quickly
What happened this week:
MC gives Clint, who just proposed to her in her driveway, infinite reasons for why they shouldn’t get married. And you know what? She’s right.
Go on an ice cream date with Clint but he makes you uncomfortable the whole time.
You’re invited to the woods by Clint, who just wants to take you on a romantic walk, which probably ends up in you being murdered. Who knows; I didn’t buy the scene.
Luisa’s bar renos are completely scrapped because she wanted to open up a Mexican restaurant. I had a whole experience trying to see the classic Choices bar transformed into a colourful restaurant. Good for her, but there’s no way they created a restaurant from a dingy bar in the time it took to visit three people. Also, pay for a mural to be added to the restaurant because PB couldn’t think of other ways to get money in this book. They should try baby related diamond options. It is a baby themed book, after all.
Cassandra storms in accusing us of stealing her man, and quite honestly, I’d do that to, if my fiance knocked up this random lady and proposed to her after getting engaged to you. If she were given more than two sentences of dialogue before PB brands her as a bitch, then maybe she’d be the most sensible person in this book. Just maybe.
Thoughts:
How dare PB uses Platinum music in this book, of all books. I am still not over Platinum. Its slapping soundtrack shouldn’t have to be demoted to such a status. I’d rather not associate that music with this book.
Clint makes me very uncomfortable. Is it because he’s looks stubby/unproportionate to me? Is it because he still calls his impregnated one-night-stand Miss? Is it because he takes said woman on a walk in the woods at night? The answer is all of the above.
A much better plot for this book would be if Clint murders MC in the woods to protect his reputation (cause who needs a baby when you’re a billionaire) and Anna (I forgot what her profession is but anyone can be a snoop) tries to solve the mystery of the killer. It’s either a great idea, or I’m missing Most Wanted and Veil of Secrets too much.
I don’t think that anyone at PB has any concept of time. Babies aren’t remotely fully formed at 6 weeks pregnant. Renovations take a lot more than a few hours to complete. Someone buy them a clock or a calendar for Christmas.
I’m trying to not not like this book, especially after terribly misjudging MotY (an amazing book), but you know that disappointed sigh you do when you know that it’s not really gonna get any better than this? Yeah, I’ve been doing that all chapter long.

Exercising to the Next Level: Tips in Getting the Best Personal Trainer in Utah
Exercising to the next level is difficult-- but with someone like a personal trainer, everything will go well. What does it mean? Is it difficult? Well, exercising to the next level is doing something greater than what many do, thus, a need for someone who will guide and teach is a must.
Proper exercise and training with a Trainer is a must as well. It helps a trainee to achieve the “body goals” and also it helps to eliminate the bad habit while during the conduct of training exercises. The trainer would help the trainee throughout the process.
5 easy tips to get the Best Personal Trainer in Utah:
Tip 1. Certified Personal Trainer. First off, a trainer must be certified, why? Because only a Certified Gym Trainer knows the technicalities of training exercise, Oops! why technicalities?; well yeah, proper and correct training exercise must be conducted so to achieve that “body goals”, a trainee cannot just run, do sit-ups, do weight lifting, or anything else without first consulting the one who truly knows such-- otherwise, a trainee will end up having muscle unproportionate-- and that’s laughable, and no one wants it, right?
Tip 2. A Member or Part of a Fitness Club. A faux or hoax? No! Don’t listen to a faux trainer who will just teach and yet they are not part of any fitness club or gym. A hoax trainer who will advise running 10 to 100 kilometers without knowing the health status of a trainee. Therefore, a Certified Personal Trainer who is also a part or member of a fitness club or gym must be chosen.
Tip 3. An Experienced Soft-Hearted Personal Trainer. This characteristics of a trainer depends on what a trainee is looking for. Know for a fact that a Personal Trainer has also a specialization (well, as time goes by, a trainer can master all), so get a Personal Trainer based on a set goal.
Tip 4. Approachable in any way: One thing that a trainee must understand is his progress, therefore, a need for a Personal trainer who could be relied upon is the one who is approachable. Approachable Personal Trainer is also one who could able to understand your personal matters. Soft heartedly speaking, a trainee also needs to get a Personal Trainer who will understand a trainee’s character during training sessions-- there might be times that a trainee would get tired or would get sicked and the Trainer must understand circumstances like these.
Tip 5. Nearby Certified Personal Trainer: There is no other better trainer than those who can be reached anytime, by “any time”, it can be implied to a trainer who is nearby trainee’s place. A trainer who is also a member of your chosen fitness club and/or gym.
4300 SC: Fitness Club with Best Personal Trainer
4300 SC is one of the Best Fitness Clubs in Ogden Utah who is equipped with Certified Trainers. 4300 SC is committed to personally monitor your progress, thus, a Certified Personal Trainer is what they suggest.

Personal Trainer in 4300 SC is the best buddy Utah finders could have taking exercise to the next level. 4300 SC’s Personal Trainers are equipped with knowledge that will help a trainee understand what training and exercise are all about, and its nitty-gritty. It is best to know the difference of Exercise and Training-- Training is a consistent physical activity that is done for long term purposes, while Exercise is a physical activity done for the sake of doing a greater physical activity.
4300 SC’s trainers can help a trainee through arduous training. Arduous Training is a type of training which involves different types of activities.

Ways to Get a Bikini Body Fast | The Bikini Body Challenge!
Ways to Get a Bikini Body Fast!
Summertime is here which means beach time, pool time, and fun time! It’s time to show off your beautiful body as you step into your summer clothes and your bikini. If you are longing to tone up and slim down before the hot weather hits, now is the time to get bikini ready.
Tumblr media
The Bikini Body Challenge!
Now, you might be inclined to go on a crash diet, wash down the newest weight loss supplement, or invest in a high cost, low return fad diet plan. Not necessary. The best way to a healthy and great looking body is through taking great care of your body – eating a healthy, well-balanced diet; getting plenty of rest, and exercising.
Best Diets Weight loss Diet plans
Body Eating Tips
eating for a summer bodyYou’re looking to slim down and tone your body, so you need to boost your exercise and reduce calories. It seems pretty basic, but there are things to consider to increase your success and avoid pitfalls as you strive to get your summer body back in shape.
Secret Anabolic Recipes | Cook Healthy | Muscle Building Meals
You want to kick start your metabolism, so it is important that you get enough calories and nutrition that your body works to burn fat, feels that its nutritional needs are met, and does not go into starvation mode. If you cut too much and do not get proper nutrients, your body will think it is starving and will start storing energy in the form of fat.
The Real Mom’s Guide
Avoid unhealthy, highly processed, nutrient-poor foods. These foods are usually packed with hidden sugars and are high in empty calories. Make whole
foods
the primary focus of your diet, and eat a variety of them. Choose lean meats and fish, lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, and dairy products that are minimally processed (for example, do not buy ‘processed cheese product’ – if you’re going for cheese, get the real thing). Skim and part-skim dairy as fine as long as it doesn’t have a bunch of other junk added in to make up for the skimming process.
The Bikini Body Challenge!
You want to enjoy your food. Choosing a variety of
foods
that are flavorful, nutritious, and filling will keep you from feeling as though you are depriving yourself. This will help you avoid binging later.
Plan and prep your meals ahead of time – especially for days that your schedule is busy.
This will help you stay on track. Shoot for around 1500 calories a day. To keep your metabolism going, it is recommended to eat 5 small meals rather than 3 larger meals. Plan healthy and well-balanced breakfast, lunch, and dinners each day along with 2 snacks.
Have a variety of nuts, fruits, and vegetables around to snack on when you are feeling hungry. Fruits and veggies are highly nutritious, offer a variety of flavor and textural experiences, and are very low calorie. Nuts are higher in calories, but they are filling, very nutritious, and contain
healthy fats.
What Is The Paleo Diet?
Start drinking warm lemon water first thing each morning. Lemon water is nutritious, it detoxifies, aids digestion boosts your metabolism, improved skin condition, and boosts your immune system. Add half a lemon to a glass of warm water each morning about a ½ hour before breakfast to jump-start your day. Drink it throughout the day for a nutritious and flavorful alternative to plain water.
To carb or not to carb? That is the question. Carbohydrates are an essential nutrient in the body and are present in a large number of very healthy foods.
The Bikini Body Challenge!
Cutting carbohydrates from your diet is not necessarily a healthy decision. That being said, be smart about your carbs. There is a huge difference between the carbohydrates in a carrot versus the carbs you get from a big hunk of Italian bread.
Stay hydrated. Drink lots of water throughout the day. This will cut out unnecessary calories from other beverages, helps you feel fuller, supports your body’s natural processes, and keeps your muscles energized when exercising.
The Bikini Body Challenge!
Cut out alcohol and sodas (even diet). Try your morning coffee without sugar and creamers. It’s only about 7 calories and you might learn to love it. If you must have a sweetener, try an all-natural Stevia product.
Exercise & Sleep
Exercise is an essential part of any weight loss program, especially if you want to tone your muscles for that bikini. Here are some tips to get your body ready for summer.
If you’re looking forward to two weeks on sun-kissed sand, relaxing and soaking up the sun, you’re going to want to look and feel your best on the beach. Toned legs and upper arms, a slim waist, and that ‘fitness healthy glow’ don’t appear overnight, so the key to getting ‘beach-fit’ is to start your health and fitness plan early, rather than attempting a crash course in training and dieting.
Melt 7 Pounds Every 7 Days
This way you’ll have plenty of time to get in shape and keep the weight off, unlike fad diets that make you pile on the weight just days into the holiday. So what is the best strategy to get fit for the beach and make sure you look good for your holiday? Follow the training and dietary advice below and you’ll tone up, shape up, and feel good in your bikini body.
The Bikini Body Challenge!
Resistance Training
More muscles will mean more fat burn, simple! Don’t worry that you’ll bulk up or look ‘manly’ as women don’t have enough testosterone to muscle gain as much as men, instead your body will become toned, tight, and slender. Toning up your muscles will not only burn more calories but will make you feel great!
Weight training also causes your metabolism to burn for a longer time than cardio, meaning fat continues to get used up even when you’ve stopped working out. Your fitness will improve and the changing shape of your body will make you feel more than able to rock that bikini!
Belly Fat in Women
Muscle Costs More
The ‘energy cost’ of a body with toned muscles is higher than a body carrying excess body-fat so if you tone up your muscles, your engine is running faster 24 hours a day leading to further body-fat reduction. The mere existence of muscle will cause the metabolism to burn faster, eating through calories and fat at a higher rate!
Tumblr media
The Bikini Body Challenge!
It’s not all just about the cardio, as important as it is, but building muscle can be great for both your appearance, fitness, and your health. So hit those weights and stock up on that protein and say goodbye to those love handles and bingo wings!
Train Early
Any exercise at any time of the day will do wonders for your bikini body, but morning workouts are ideal. As hard as it is pulling yourself out of bed, getting an exercise in after breakfast is perfect to kickstart your metabolism, starting the fat and calorie burn process. And if you’ve worked out hard your metabolism will keep burning for the rest of the day, up to 15 hours after, killing off those calories at a higher rate.
Healthy Diet Plant-Based Diet
Sometimes our schedules don’t allow for morning workouts, but boosting your metabolism and freeing up the rest of the day can be a great way to start the day and keep to your workout routine.
Keep Your Body And Training Balanced
When you look in the mirror, the main muscles you see are your abdominals (stomach), chest, and biceps (upper arm). Avoid over-training these areas because you will develop postural imbalances. Make sure that you tone up all around the body, not just what you see when you look in the gym mirrors. Legs are a vital part of any workout, as your bum can be a tricky area for most women’s pre-bikini body.
Lifestyle Changes to Improve Your Cholesterol
So, make a workout plan to train areas on different days, allowing for muscle recovery and equal training. Sometimes an unproportionate body can make you feel worse than holding a bit of flab, so balance and equality are important in your exercise.
When looking to tone up, it’s easy to forget about cardiovascular (CV) training. However, for a balanced health and fitness program, cardio training is essential to ensure that your body’s most important muscle, your heart, is trained too. As boring and exhausting as running, swimming and cycling can be, hitting the bike and fitting in a jog could be different from hiding in a kaftan all holiday and rocking that bikini-bod.
The Bikini Body Challenge!
But don’t fear, cardio can be done through endless forms of exercise. So if you hate the treadmill and don’t even want to look at a bike, join a Zumba class or put on some boxing gloves, still working your heart and fitness, but adding that bit of much-needed excitement.
Endless sit-ups and crunches, unfortunately, will not result in the perfect body, as much as ab exercises will tone your body to a certain extent, your workout should be about variation. If you’re looking to get a slim waist for the beach, sit-ups for your abdominal muscles are just one of the exercises you should be doing. The core should be your main focus when working out the abdomen.
The plank, leg lifts, Russian twists, and many more exercises that tackle all areas around the abs are better to get the slimmer and more defined stomach. Plus as many trainers and exercise forums will tell you; abs are 70 percent kitchen 30 percent gym. So turn your time away from mindless ab exercises and work your whole body.

Second Time Around
Time travel fic, 22k, character deaths. 1 - A Good Future
The future was supposed to be good, they said. No monsters, no dodgy science, no political scandals.
Karma never expected the government to come clean with what had happened, but he had hoped they’d learn their god damn lesson and stop any weird shit they’d been doing behind the scenes. It wasn’t often that he was wrong, but when he was, it generally ended up badly for everyone.
They’d been promised a good life due to their hardships. Maybe the others hadn’t realised it, but they’d given more than just cash when Koro Sensei’s life had ended. Kayano probably didn’t notice, thinking the absence of the media prying into her life was down to good management. The thought probably hadn’t crossed anyone else’s mind. But Karma had wondered why they weren’t being hounded by the press when they were part of an international scandal, mere teens fighting a monster, when they were chased like prey when the scandal broke.
He wouldn’t say anything, but he knew for a fact his record had been wiped clean of petty misdemeanours. His student file had been altered, saying he was a charming personality, an asset to all around him. It sounded like the smary bullshit that was on Asano’s profile. The difference between them was Asano twisted people so they saw him that way, despite being just as much of a demon as Karma was. Karma was insulted his character had been changed, but he did see the benefits in it.
Seeing those two changes had been enough. He wouldn’t mind betting that other occurrences in their lives had been planned, or helped along by the government. An unproportionate amount of them got scholarships, they all got their dream school or next in line, medical treatment had miraculously become available to those with sick family members under the guise of medicine trialling - the list went on. After all, there was no reason why 3-E couldn’t sue the government, all the world’s governments, for everything they’ve been through. Obviously it wouldn’t be easy, but a few sob stories would give them public appeal, and the redhead wouldn’t mind betting Asano Senior would like a bit of revenge for being forced to relinquish his school, his pride and joy.
Sure, they’d agreed to a verbal contract, though they’d been underage and therefore unable to give consent at the time. Who could possibly expect them to fully understand the consequences of their actions? Even adults wouldn’t have grasped every possibility that could have happened! Takaoka or Nidaime were unpredictables to say the least, and that’s without Yanagisawa and the many minor incidents that took place over the year.
After everything that had happened, Karma expected, at the very least believed they deserved a good life. A good future.
Maybe it was just bad luck. Maybe it was fate, destiny.
Whatever it was, it wasn’t good.
The government didn’t stop with experimentations, human or otherwise. He didn’t watch the tv anymore, or read newspapers. When he was a kid, guns blew people to bits and bombs exploded towns and cities into pieces. Now weapons were monsters, once human more than likely (he’ll never forget Nidaime’s monstrous shrieks) or animals at the very least. Someone’s pets? A loved one? A criminal on death row or someone on their death bed?
He didn’t know. Didn’t want to know.
Poisons had been adapted to the new world, gas attacks becoming more frequent. Missiles were shot frequently, leaving families on coast lines fleeing or living in fear. Hospitals were at a breaking point, governments draining resources from everything and anything to follow their twisted goals and ideals.
He honestly wasn’t sure what they were fighting over any more. Back in the day, they fought against terrorists and for oil and because nations had grudges from decades back and it was the principal of the thing.
After Sensei had died, things were quiet. But one reporter got nosey, too curious for their own good, and straight up vanished. Another followed. People assumed they’d been checking out drug dealers or the headquarters of other criminals and got caught, leading to a snuffed out existence. Three more met the same fate before word could get out.
Yanagisawa was out of the picture but his research wasn’t.
Karma was fine with the theoretical study of all of Yangisawa’s ideas. What did theories matter if they weren’t used? Shouldn’t people be expected to think outside the box? That’s what Sensei had always said anyway.
Maybe Sensei was wrong.
Because thinking was one thing, but results could only be gained by doing. So Yanagisawa’s ideas were revised, changed, and reimplemented. A new breed of monster emerged. They were written off as cyborgs, androids at first.
“We’re helping humans with no hope.”
Of course, that generally meant criminals, psychopaths, sociopaths, with no care for others, using this as a way to extend their own lives, to commit more crimes without having to face punishment. The government could use them without worry - few would raise a fuss if it was criminals killing other criminals and criminals dying to save people.
The other times it meant lying to someone on their last legs, saying they were joining a special trial for new medicine, that there was a chance of recovery if they let themselves be injected. Of course, the families were always told the medicine had an adverse reaction and their loved one had died.
Japan was relatively safe, having been the creator of these monsters, the ones who had advanced the knowledge, the ones with the most experience of fighting them. And of course, 3-E had helped them out, detailing their experiences, what they had tried, what they hadn’t, what worked and what didn’t. Okajima and Terasaka, talkative and proud, took that the hardest. They thought they were helping out (hadn’t they all?) and spilled everything.
Karma had decided to ignore everything. He was a government worker and he was busy and he was tired. He only stopped one monster due to it being more human the beast, having an entire class behind him. He couldn’t save the world. He wasn’t that type of person.
Karasuma begged to differ.
Karasuma was looking worse for wear, exhausted, lanky in a sickly way. But he still worked every day, longer than harder than everyone else. Karma thought it was admirable.
Though it turned out Karasuma wasn’t working at all.
“You’re trying to tell me the government has a secret time travel device that they think works but nobody is sure because they’re too chicken to try it out?”
“Yes.”
“And you want me to try it out and somehow save the world like I’m some sort of superhero?”
“Exactly.”
“That’s insane.”
“The world is, yes.”
“You’re insane!”
“Possibly.”
Karma groaned. It was like talking to a robot! Karasuma was vague on the details. Apparently the machine was already being built before Karasuma joined, and was improved for years. The final step was Yanagisawa’s notes. Apparently the man had lost his mind and was a little deranged these days and would happily chat your ear off about his ideas (that was the official story, though Karma had heard about a supposed truth serum, and while that sounded like fantasy novel nonsense, so did giant yellow monsters and people with tentacles).
“And nobody has used this machine before now, why? Surely someone was stupid enough to get in it!”
“It’s been untested on humans. Tests on rats, pre-Yanagisawa’s notes… didn’t turn out too well.” Karma grimaced. “So history hasn’t been changed before.” A pause. “Or so we believe.”
He quietly added, “The last lot of rats didn’t die, however.”
Shaking his head, Karma really wanted this conversation to end. “You really aren’t doing a good job of convincing me, y’know? I know this world. My friends are here. It’s far from perfect, but it’s mine. You want me to risk my life going to the past, maybe encountering myself and what then?” He gave Karasuma no chance to answer. “Go through school again, and try and figure out the best way of righting the world even though we have no idea how?!”
He was straight out yelling at this point, and he was glad he was at home. Karasuma had refused to speak to him at work and he now knew why. At least he knew this place wasn’t bugged.
“What was the turning point for this hell? What am I supposed to change? Do I kill someone? Should Sensei live? What do you want me to do?”
Karasuma was silent.
“Do you know anything that would be useful?”
A short pause. Karasuma didn’t want to give things away but he needed to win Karma over. “We don’t know. We have ideas, theories. Obviously the catalyst was when he died. Or, more obviously, the fuss around killing him by the government. People got curious about the monster. Scientists had amazing new research material. Governments are unorthodox and corrupt.”
“So Sensei should live?”
Karasuma shrugged. “What then? Where does he go? The government wouldn’t just stop hunting him.”
“Then what?”
Karasuma finally met his eyes. “That’s up to you.”
Karma was furious. Much more calmly than he thought he was capable of, he went to the kitchen to find a drink. Something strong, honestly didn’t matter what as long as it was booze. This wasn’t something he wanted to think about now or ever.
Downing the bottle, he asked Karasuma another question. Or five. Counting was hard when you were pissed in both ways of the word.
“Why just one person? Can’t you send numerous people back in time? Will the machine hold more than one? Why not send one and another and another, a whole team, a qualified team, let them meet up with each other and go from there?”
He glared at the bottle, as though it was its fault for being empty. “Why me?”
Ignoring his other questions, Karasuma got straight to the point. “Because you’re strong. Physically and mentally. You can lead under pressure, can form plans quickly. You know when to give up and when to keep pushing, you know everyone’s skill sets better than they do themselves. You’re still in a position where you can do this without being too emotional. You’re our best hope.”
“And if I die on the way there?”
Karasuma looked away. “I personally think there’s a high chance of success, now that we’ve made improvements.”
“What if I go back and fail?”
“We’ve lost enough that the risk is worth it.”
“Won’t you lose your job?”
“We’ll stage something, make it look like you ran off or went on holiday or something. If you do things right, nobody will ever know this world was a reality. They’ll never know time was tampered with. They’ll never know the world they inhabit is a redesigned version.” The man shrugged, not having much to care about nowadays. “At least I’ll have my wife.”
Eventually, Karasuma left. Karma had argued semantics, ideals, concerns until it was three in the morning.
Neither of them slept that night.
Three weeks later and Okuda’s and Takabayashi’s broken bodies were removed from their lab on the outskirts of Tokyo. The lab had been bombed, materials and notes stolen. Nobody had laid a claim to the attacks, and there was no evidence to trace.
The funeral was simple, family and friends, the media watching like starving dogs from outside the temple. Karma was stony throughout the whole thing. He wasn’t one for tears and didn’t appreciate Okuda’s mother tugging on his sleeve, saying how much “Manami-chan talked about you” or watching Terasaka give his condolences to Takabayashi’s grief stricken father.
Before he snuck away, he found Karasuma.
“I’ll do it.”
“You’ll go tonight.”
A nod and he left. He had a lot to do, after all.

More than 250,000 weight loss surgeries were performed during 2018 in the United States.
Many people liposuction or tummy tuck surgeries done for medical reasons or to improve their health and appearance.
Although many people think these are the same procedures, they aren’t. So which surgery do you possibly need?
Continue reading to discover if you need liposuction or tummy tuck procedures done!
What is Liposuction?
Liposuction is a perfect choice of surgery if you are wanting to get rid of smaller fat deposits on the body.
This procedure is not meant to be a full-on weight loss tool. Many people get liposuctions on areas of their stomachs, thighs, and buttocks. Only the targeted areas will be affected on your body, making it perfect for those that are close to a healthy weight.
Getting liposuction is not recommended for people that are obese. If you have any unproportionate areas on your body, liposuction is the best way to get rid of them. The results are meant to be permanent, but without regular exercise and a healthy diet, you can gain it back.
Don’t be afraid to talk to your doctor about ways you can increase weight loss and proportion to your body. Depending on where you get liposuction done, you can typically be back to normal activities within 48 hours.
What Does a Liposuction Consist Of?
If you are thinking of getting liposuction the process is fairly simple to understand.
Liposuction will involve using an anesthetic on your midsection before performing surgery. This will help numb the area so that your surgeon can begin cutting out fat. The surgeon will cut small incisions around your fat deposits.
After the cuts have been made, a tube will be placed underneath the skin to loosen the fat cells. Once the cells have been moved around, the surgeon can then use a medical vacuum to take out the fat.
This procedure may involve multiple sessions before reaching your goal weight. It is also done while you are sedated for comfort.
Although there aren’t many risks to getting this procedure done, many people experience numbness. If the numbness continues after you are healed, there may be a problem. Otherwise, the it goes away shortly after the surgery is done.
What are Tummy Tucks?
Are you considering getting a tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty?
Just like liposuction, a tummy tuck can help flatten and tighten areas around the stomach. Tummy tucks are meant for people trying to get rid of excess fat and skin around the abdomen.
Some people get tummy tucks after giving birth and major weight changes. This is because the skin can stretch out and be loose around the stomach. Many professionals recommend doing this procedure if you want to have a flat midsection.
If you want a reputable plastic surgeon to help with your procedure, go to https://www.charlotteplasticsurgery.com/ today!
The Process of a Tummy Tuck
Are you considering getting a tummy tuck, it is important to understand what will be done to your abdomen.
A tummy tuck procedure involves reconnecting the abdomen muscles. After they’ve been overstretched and separated it can be difficult to get them back to normal. Only people with a body mass index or BMI over 30 should undergo this surgery.
If you are thinking of getting pregnant in the future or are actively trying to lose weight, a tummy tuck will help. This surgery is also the best choice for those with chronic heart conditions.
During the surgery, you will be put to sleep before the surgeon makes any incisions. The doctor will cut towards the bottom of the abdominal skin wall. When the muscles are showing, they will be able to sew them back together.
Pulling the muscles back together will help tighten the skin over your stomach and get rid of excess skin. The doctor can accomplish this surgery in one session that can last up to 3 hours.
How to Maintain Your Health
Before, during, and after your surgery, you must make changes to your life that will help you lose weight and stay healthy.
Eating a balanced diet before the procedure can help give your body its essential nutrients and energy to perform everyday tasks. It can help boost your metabolism and encourage weight loss moving forward.
Whether you get liposuction or tummy tuck surgery done, you need to remain healthy.
Going back to poor eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle after surgery can lead to gaining the weight back. You should be regularly exercising to build muscle and burn off excess calories throughout the day.
Don’t forget to drink plenty of water and take vitamins that will supplement your weight loss. The mineral and nutrients can also help your body burn fat more effectively and utilize energy.
You should be following any orders that your doctor gives you. They will be able to supply you with the most accurate information.
Which Will You Choose: Liposuction or tummy tuck?
Whether you get liposuction or tummy tuck, the procedure is only a cosmetic fix.
After going through a procedure that will help flatten your stomach, you must live a healthy lifestyle. Resorting back to old eating habits and uncontrollable appetites can put you back to your original weight.
Eating healthy and getting regular exercise can help get you in the best shape of your life. You will finally be able to live the life that you have always wanted to. The only thing left to do is decide on what surgery to get done!

Female dynamic within society
Historically, women have always been perceived to be inferior to men, with regards to all aspects of society – including economically, religiously, socially and politically.
Within the Bible it states that Eve, the first woman, was created from the lung of Adam, the first man and it was because of Eve’s (again, note: the WOMAN) failure to resist temptation from eating the apple and then convincing Adam to eat the apple that caused the “first original sin” (Genesis 3:6-7) – resembling the belief that it was women’s incompetence that caused sin of the world. Even the story of Pandora’s box was another analogy that faulted a female’s inability to resist temptation that caused all the sins to be released into the World causing anarchy.
Furthermore; all of Jesus’s disciples were male, St. Paul urged that women were not to have an authoritative over men within the Church (Gracechurch.org, no date) (hence why women cannot be appointed as any position within the Church except a nun.) Overall, within the Church – women are seen as inferior which arguably compelled society (which has been deemed up until the last century to be religious) to hold the same values towards women and their inferiority.
However, as society in the modern era moves towards a more secular mindset – the idea that religion is losing its influence within society with regards to politics etc. but views on women and their value within society is still not equal to that of a man’s. The gender pay gap is still argued to be massive as it’s reported that within the UK, “at the current rate of decline it will take 60 years to eradicate the gap…” (BBC, 2019: online). Some may argue that the pay gap still exists based on meritocracy, but this argument can be discredited by the earnings of the USMNT (US Men’s National Team) and the USWNT (US Women’s National Team) where despite the USWNT recent success and the USMNT failures the “…current labor agreements with U.S. Soccer would pay each member of the women’s team about $260,000 for winning a World Cup, compared with more than $1.1 million for each men’s player.” (Pound, 2019: online)
Likewise, women within the working world are still restricted, stereotypically, to those typical ‘nurturing’ jobs such as secretaries – taking care of their male ‘superiors’, nurses – taking care of the sick, teachers – taking care of the children and they are still not regarded as capable to fulfil those managerial roles that men typically are associated with. The notion of the ‘glass ceiling’ (BBC, 2017) refers to the idea that minorities, within this case – women, are highly unlikely to break through the ceiling into the higher roles within the working world – as it is very much perceived to be a heterosexual white man’s world. Despite powerful women figures throughout history; exemplified by Margaret Thatcher (branded the Iron Lady), Nicola Sturgeon, Michelle Obama, Angela Merkel, Theresa May etc. the parliamentary demographic within the UK still see’s women within the UK Government as a minority with 32% of the members of the House of Commons being women (Uberoi et al, 2019: online) making it relatively harder for them to influence legislation in favour of women’s rights – which then places the importance to enforce change within society of campaign groups, lobbyists, movements, demonstrations to create so much noise that it is impossible to ignore within the ‘ivory towers’ of Governments. Historical campaigns like ‘the Suffragettes’, originally used as a derogatory term in 1906, delivered a clear message that they would not give up until women were granted the right to vote (Culbertson, 2018) are regarded as the most significant campaigners in recent history with regards to the progression toward gender equality and the emancipation of women’s status within modern society.
Moreover, women – especially mothers, seem to be the easiest scapegoat to ridicule when something within society fails; for example, delinquent behaviour is often seen to be the cause of poor motherhood, why do society not hold the father culpable also? The importance of effective motherhood is based upon the sociological theory that family is the primary agent of socialisation (Kohn, 1977) whereby if that fails, then the pillars of society in later life crumble. For example, within the UK it is common knowledge that if a child fails to attend school over a period of time then the culpability is placed onto the mother – again, why is the blame not shared amongst the parents? The burden is unproportionate.
Mothers are often demonized even when they are victims of such unfortunate events as to missing children – mentioning the case of Madeleine McCann where a 3-year-old girl was abducted from her bed whilst on holiday in Portugal in 2007. The case of Madeleine’s disappearance was documented across the world, the face of the missing toddler seemed to be front page news for weeks, and still to this day there are sporadic ‘reminders’ about her case – the most recent being a Netflix documentary that was released in 2019 called ‘The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann’. Amidst all the reports about possible findings and sorrow for the parents; Kate and Gerry, there were also theories that they had been involved with her disappearance – which were followed by slander from the media  with Kate, the mother, being the brunt of the majority of negativity aimed towards them. The case was big business for many news outlets and with this came a race for the most shocking headline, spiralling a wave of so called “attack journalism” which led to “…unprecedented official UK inquiries into press misconduct and criminality.” (Greer and McLaughlin, 2012)

It’s been quite a wild weekend in the YouTube-verse after beauty guru Tati Westbrook canceled James Charles, and fellow YouTubers are officially weighing in and taking sides.
What’s up guys, it’s Sussan Mourad back here on Clevver News, and unless you were on some sort of social media detox this weekend, you probably heard the news:
Tati Westbrook, who has mentored James and basically built his career from the ground up, CAME for him in a 43-minute video, calling him out for lying to his followers, collaborating with her competitors and being a creep toward straight men.
So that’s the rundown in a nutshell. If you want more details, you can head on over to Tati’s youtube channel and watch the 43 minute video yourself, for a full play by play breakdown.
ANYWAY, it obviously didn’t take long for the rest of YouTube to weigh in with their thoughts on the matter… and let’s just say there’s a reason this sister literally lost over 2 million subscribers and counting.
Makeup and beauty mogul Jeffree Star was quick to side with Tati as he tweeted, “There’s a reason why Nathan banned James Charles from ever coming over to our home again. There’s a reason why I haven’t seen him since @GlamLifeGuru’s birthday in February. He is a danger to society. Everything Tati said is 100% true.”
He then went on to congratulate Tati on her growing followers… from 6, to 7, then to 8 million all within the weekend.
Zara Larson chimed in with a bit of her own tea as well, with a tweet that she eventually deleted that read, “I’m cackling cause he hit up my boyfriend in the dms several times knowing damn well he’s straight.” She went on to clarify her reason for deleting the tweet, saying, “It made me really uncomfortable cause I felt like it was unproportionally blown up and I honestly don’t wanna be a part of it. I feel like I shouldn’t have made my self involved, even if the behavior is problematic in general.”
It doesn’t end there, YouTuber KeemStar wrote, “James Charles is a dummy for a lot of this but @emmachamberlain & @EthanDolan @GraysonDolan unfollowing him on IG is straight scumbag shit. You all acted like u were best friends then his career tanks and you ghosts him. Never be friends with these people they’re fake AF!”
All drama aside, Shane Dawson decided to take the high road, while also throwing in a bit of shade in his post, as he praised Tati’s Halo Beauty line. While he didn’t actually mention James’ name… we caught on rather quickly. Jenn McAllister summed it up pretty perfectly, writing, “omg it’s so embarrassing being a YouTuber in the year 2019 cause none of y’all can fuckin act right.” I mean… girl’s kinda got a point…
Elijah Daniel clearly felt strongly about the whole sitch, making MANY jokes, and even went as far to start a TikTok dance challenge set to a remix of James’ 8-minute apology video.
Katy Perry even weighed in on the shade by liking a tweet that attacked James Charles… and we all know that a ‘like’ is worth a thousand words, especially when it’s from a celeb, so need I say more?
But seriously, the celebs have spoken, and right now I’m curious to know your thoughts on this whole James v. Tati drama. And also are you one of the people that have unsubscribed from James? Get to talking down here in the comments section. You can also find me on Instagram, Twitter and YouTube @Sussan_Mourad.
Then when you’re done, be sure to click right over here for another new video, and as always, don’t forget to subscribe to our channel and hit that bell so you never miss a juicy update. Thanks for taking part in our tea party… until next time!

The History of Epilepsy
https://healthandfitnessrecipes.com/?p=7040
People have known about epilepsy for thousands of years but have not understood it until recently. The ancient Babylonians wrote about the symptoms and causes of epilepsy 3000 years ago. They thought that seizures were caused by demons attacking the person. Different spirits were thought to cause the different kinds of seizures.
Ancient Greeks thought you got epilepsy by offending the moon goddess Selene.
One cure was eating mistletoe that was picked without using a sickle or blade during the time the moon is smallest in the sky. The mistletoe could not touch the ground, because then it would not be effective against the “falling sickness”, because it had fallen itself. In 400 BC, Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, wrote a book saying that people do not get epilepsy from the gods, because that would be thinking bad of the gods. His cure for epilepsy was medicine and diet based on his own unscientific theories of the balance between hot and cold. The religious cure of the time was to sleep in the temple overnight and hope that the god Asclepius would appear in a dream and cure you or tell you how to get cured.
Ancient Romans believed that epilepsy came from demons, and was contagious by touching or being breathed on by a person with epilepsy. If this would occur, people would spit to get rid of the demon. Since they thought epilepsy was contagious, people with epilepsy would have to live alone.
In Europe in the Middle Ages, epilepsy was called the falling sickness, and people looked to saints and relics for cures. The three wise men and St. Valentine were particularly important patrons of people with epilepsy. If you had epilepsy you could a special blessed ring that would help control your seizures. This idea was still around in colonial America when George Washington’s daughter Patsy had seizures and was given an iron ring by her doctor.
During the Renaissance, people started to read ancient writings again, and the ideas of long ago came back into fashion. Some people thought that people with epilepsy were prophets, because they could see the past, present, and future when they were unconscious during a seizure. People with epilepsy were thought to be very smart because some very great people in the Roman empire had epilepsy, including Julius Cesar and Petrarch. Epilepsy was still believed to be a terrible disease by the common people.
During the Enlightenment, from the late 1600’s on, belief that demons caused epilepsy faded. People thought that epilepsy was contagious because of some famous cases where orphans all started acting like they were having seizures. Because epilepsy was thought to be contagious, people with the disorder were locked up in mental hospitals. They were kept separate from the mentally ill, so the insane would not get epilepsy!
In Modern times, people with epilepsy were not allowed to marry or have children. In Nazi Germany and even in America in the 1920’s, they were given an operation to prevent them from ever having children. Medicines such as potassium bromide and phenobarbital were invented, and helped people not have seizures.
Bromides had bad side effects, but allowed some people with epilepsy to live normal lives. Phenobarbital was better, but it did not help everyone.
Scientific discoveries about how the brain works allowed us to make medicines that work better and helped people with epilepsy to live normal lives. Unfortunately some people still have strange ideas about epilepsy. Because the word epilepsy comes from a Greek word meaning ‘possession’ the true nature of epilepsy has long been distorted by myth and fear and yes some people continue to hold mistaken notions about the it.
Myths About Epilepsy
1. You can swallow your tongue during a seizure. It’s physically impossible to swallow your tongue.
2. You should force something into the mouth of someone having a seizure. Absolutely not! That’s a good way to chip teeth, puncture gums, or even break someone’s jaw. The correct first aid is simple. Just gently roll the person on one side and put something soft under his head to protect him from getting injured.
3. You should restrain someone having a seizure. Never use restraint! The seizure will run its course and you can not stop it.
4. Epilepsy is contagious. About as contagious as a gunshot wound! You simply can’t catch epilepsy from another person.
5. Only kids get epilepsy. Epilepsy can happen to anyone at any time and at any age.  In fact our elderly are one of the fast growing demographics for new epilepsy diagnosis along with children.
6. People with epilepsy are disabled and can’t work. People with this disease have the same range of abilities and intelligence as anyone. Some have severe seizures and cannot work; others are very successful and lead productive lives.  Search our section on famous people with epilepsy.
7. People with epilepsy shouldn’t be in jobs of responsibility and stress. People with seizure disorders are found in all walks of life and at all levels in business, government, the arts and professions. We aren’t always aware of them because many people, even today, do not talk about having epilepsy for fear of what others might think.
8. With today’s medication, epilepsy is largely a solved problem. Epilepsy is a chronic medical problem that for many people can be successfully treated. Unfortunately, treatment doesn’t work for everyone and there’s a critical need for more research.  Epilepsy receives an unproportionate about of research dollars as other health issues.
9. Epilepsy is rare and there aren’t many people who have it. There are more than twice as many people with epilepsy as the number of people with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and cystic fibrosis combined.  One in ten people will have a seizure during their lifetime, and, 1 in 26 will develop epilepsy (recurring seizures).
10. You can’t die from epilepsy. Epilepsy still can be a very serious condition and individuals do die of it.  More people die of epilepsy then breast cancer.  Search and read about SUDEP.
11. You can’t tell what a person might do during a seizure. Seizures commonly take a characteristic form and the individual will do much the same thing during each episode. However, his or her behavior may be inappropriate for the time and place but it is unlikely to cause anyone harm.
12. People with epilepsy are physically limited in what they can do. In most cases, epilepsy isn’t a barrier to physical achievement, although some individuals are more severely affected and may be limited in what they can do.
