Unleashing Your Creative Potential: The Art of Personal Branding on Social Media
In a world where everyone is vying for attention, standing out on social media requires more than just posting regularly. It's about crafting a unique personal brand that resonates with your audience and showcases your creative flair. At Marketing Pro Insider, we're all about helping you unlock your creative potential and shine online. In this guest post, we’ll explore the art of personal branding on social media, tailored specifically for the vibrant and expressive Tumblr community.
1. Discover Your Unique Voice
Tumblr is a platform known for its diverse and passionate user base. To connect with this audience, it's crucial to discover and embrace your unique voice. Whether you're into art, photography, writing, or memes, let your personality shine through your content. At Marketing Pro Insider, we believe that authenticity is the key to building a loyal following. Share your passions, opinions, and quirks—your uniqueness is your greatest asset.
2. Curate a Visual Aesthetic
Visual storytelling is a powerful tool on Tumblr, where aesthetics matter. Create a cohesive visual theme that reflects your brand identity. Use consistent colors, fonts, and styles to make your profile visually appealing. Whether you're posting original artwork or reblogging inspirational quotes, your visual aesthetic should tell a story about who you are. Check out our tips on How To Create A Social Media Planner Template to plan your posts and maintain a consistent look.
3. Engage with Your Community
Tumblr thrives on interaction and community engagement. Reblog, comment, and like posts from other creators to build connections and expand your reach. Participating in Tumblr communities and fandoms can help you find like-minded individuals and grow your network. Remember, building a personal brand isn't just about broadcasting your message—it's about creating meaningful relationships. Explore more in our article on What Is Social Media App Banality Of Life?.
4. Share Behind-the-Scenes Content
People love getting a peek behind the curtain. Share behind-the-scenes content to give your followers an inside look at your creative process. Whether it's sketches, work-in-progress shots, or personal anecdotes, this type of content adds depth to your brand and makes you more relatable. It's also a great way to showcase your journey and progress over time.
5. Stay True to Your Brand, But Experiment
While consistency is important, don't be afraid to experiment with new ideas and formats. Tumblr is a great place to test out different types of content and see what resonates with your audience. From GIFs and short videos to text posts and playlists, the possibilities are endless. At Marketing Pro Insider, we encourage you to explore different creative avenues and keep your content fresh and exciting.
6. Use Keywords and Tags Effectively
Effective use of keywords and tags can significantly increase your visibility on Tumblr. Use relevant tags to help users discover your content. Think about what your audience might be searching for and include those keywords in your posts and descriptions. This not only helps with discoverability but also enhances your SEO, driving more traffic to your profile and linked website.
Conclusion
Personal branding on social media, especially on a platform like Tumblr, is an art form that combines creativity, authenticity, and community engagement. By discovering your unique voice, curating a visual aesthetic, engaging with your community, sharing behind-the-scenes content, experimenting, and using keywords effectively, you can build a powerful personal brand that resonates with your audience.

Tumblr media
tagged by @luminois... sort of :) i really wanted to do this, hopefully also to give my followers a bit of an insight into my history with writing!
1. what fandoms have you written for (but do not currently)?
I have written for One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer and Teen Wolf!
2. what fandoms are you currently writing for?
I currently write for Stray Kids and Stranger Things!
3. how long have you been writing for?
I think my first ever written story that I would be able to find dates back to halfway elementary school, so 7 or 8 maybe? I’ve been writing for a long time, for sure.
4. on which platform do you post your stories?
I've posted on Wattpad and Tumblr in the past, at the moment I post my works on Tumblr and AO3! I keep different platforms for different fandoms at the moment right now, though.
5. what is your favourite genre to write?
For Stray Kids I like to write fluff and smut the most, though recently with a wip I’ve been enjoying angst, mystery and action a lot! A little ~teaser~ for you all, hehehe.
6. are you a pantser or a planner?
Both! I plan, and then kind of go from there. I used to just do whatever I felt, and I still do for one-shots. However, since I’ve been leaning into making longer works recently, I’ve been discovering the importance of planning for myself.
7. one-shot or multi-chapter?
Hmmm... I really like both. One-shots are easier to write, multi-chapter lets you enjoy writing a story for a bit longer and is a little easier with scene cuts sometimes.
8. what is the perfect chapter length in your opinion?
I usually strive for 2.5k to 5k per chapter. However, word counts are a concept and also a lie. I’ve also written stories where a one-line chapter was way stronger than any other amount of words could have been. It all depends!
9. what is your longest published story?
An ongoing series on my AO3. So far it’s at 35k.
10. which story did you enjoy working on the most?
Hmmm... not the story itself yet per se, but the planning for the Stray Kids series I’m working on right now. It required quite a lot of world building and character assessments, which was a lot of fun.
11. favorite request you’ve ever written and why?
My first fic on this Tumblr, “How The Seasons Change.” I recently reread it, and as it was my first request ever I still remember very well how giddy I was while writing it.
12. are there recurring themes in your stories?
Rain. I love using rain and weather in general to add to the mood of a scene.
13. current number of wips?
Two big ones at the moment, both multi-part full-lengths stories. One is ongoing, the other I still am working on since the method of posting is different for both ones. Smaller one-shot tips is in the 20-somethings.
14. three things you have noticed about your writing?
1. During dramatic moments I tend to use repetition to add some extra shock value to certain happenings.
2. I describe more than I use dialogue.
3. I have a hard time describing how people convey emotions with ways that are not words.
15. a quote you like from a published story?
“By the time something was actually crawling through his garden and making noise, he was fast asleep.”
“Nowhere to go, both desperately fighting off the fear that they had to be feeling. Hiding it under a false sense of freedom. They’d end up on the streets like this.”
16. a quote from an unpublished story?
“This time there is no fresh breeze to greet you. There is no heavy rain either. There is something else. There is a boy. There is a boy with blond hair and freckles waiting on the platform and his face lights up into a pitiful smile when he sees you sitting in the train, in your completely drenched and exhausted state.”
17. space for you to say something to your readers
During my break from Tumblr I had quite a rough time. It makes me really happy when I see that people still look at my blog and leave things in the tags when they reblog posts, send me asks or just interact with me in any way. I really want everyone to know that I am earnestly working on new content, and I hope you’ll stick by me for a bit longer. It makes me so happy that people read my writing, and I plan to keep writing for a long time!
tagging anyone who wants to do this!

Some self care tips
When I did an interview with the psychologist at school she said that one of the best things people who like music can do is create playlists. Create one for each mood if you want. Her big point was that creating playlists to help you with breakdowns or anxiety attacks are incredibly important. She recommends making a 5-10 song playlist of sad songs that you can let yourself cry to or just let everything out with. Then, as soon as thst one is over, play a new one about the same length of songs that help you feel better.
Make yourself hot chocolate or tea, or ice water. Something with a temperature contrast from yourself. It helps more than you think. I have a hot chocolate mix that I make myself that has very little sugar in it but still tastes good. Link here.
Take a break once and a while. Paint, build something, read, listen to music, let yourself do something you want to for once.
Journal or create a sideblog (I highly recommend that because then you can reblog stuff to it) just for your thoughts/negative thoughts.
Make a routine or schedule.
Set a timer while you work for about 20-30 minutes and give yourself 5-10 minutes in between. You'll be surprised how much better you can work.
Listen to CDs instead of an app or website. If you don’t own any, the library usually has some to check out. I recommend classical music (hmu if you want some recs), but I also listen to whatever.
Try to sleep at a decent time. Set an alarm on your phone or laptop, whichever us more convenient. When that goes off, put everything down and close your eyes. (I've heard blinking as fast as you can for a minute helps you sleep but I haven't tried it)
(largely for self harm) Draw on your skin with something soft. there isn’t a perfect remedy for everyone, so i can’t guarantee that this will help. There are many posts specific to this so i recommend finding something that works best for you.
If you like to write, do that when things aren’t great. Personally I go for badly written poetry and i never go through it to edit or check it once i’m done. That part and whether you save it is up to you.
Eat some good foods. I know that (if you don’t sleep much especially) you crave sugars, breads, and salts, but i recommend going for a sweet fruit such as a peach, pear, apple, plum, etc. and some ice water instead. It honestly helps a lot.
Keep eating and drinking no matter how bad you feel. This is so important for both mental and physical health. Even if it’s just something small, eat something. I recommend some carrots and peanut butter, but it’s all up to personal preference.
Take care of your skin. Wash your face, shower (not too hot or too cold), take a bath, and moisturize. If you have dry skin like me, find a lotion and chapstick that works best. I use sensitive skin lotion usually because it doesn’t smell as much and works better on my skin, but everyone is different. Find something that smells nice. I highly recommend Burt’s Bees chapstick because it works very well and doesn’t leave your lips all sticky. They also have a lot of great scents and it leaves your lips nice and soft. Winter/fall can be especially hard on skin so it’s important to moisturize or your skin can crack and it’s not good.
Get a plant. I prefer succulents because they’re very low maintenance and they look nice. Hen and chicks are perfect for almost anywhere because they are very hardy. We have a couple plants outside, and they live through our Iowa winters where temperatures get well below zero and there’s snow. They can withstand a long time without water (they turn a nice red color when they don’t get enough water or get really cold, but it doesn’t harm them) and you can do almost anything with them. Name them. My hen and chicks plant is named Alex and I have a “key lime pie” succulent named Eddie.
Tumblr media
Open a window or at least your blinds while you work. The natural light can be very nice.
Brush your teeth every morning. I know it seems fairly obvious, but it can take a lot of energy. If you have braces or retainers, make sure they get totally clean as well. You can soak retainers in vinegar for about half an hour or more, and soak them in water for about the same time. They might still have some lingering taste, but it cleans them much better than toothpaste. Don’t put them in mouthwash or they will take on a tint depending on the color. On top of that, keep wearing your retainers. You’ll thank yourself later on.
After a breakdown/cry, take a couple minutes to just breathe. Hold a cold damp cloth to your face to reduce redness. Breathing helps to regulate your blood flow and will give you a much more natural look. Also helps with eye redness, but i recommend holding a cloth there to make sure.
Wear soft clothes. Get one of those really fluffy jackets that you’ve always wanted. Wear oversized sweatshirts. Be comfortable.
Keep your nails (especially your toenails) properly trimmed. You don’t want to get an ingrown nail. Once you’ve cut them, file them off so they’re round on the edges. They won’t catch and tear as much.
Get a salt lamp. I know it’s stereotypical, but they provide a fairly substantial, but still dim glow. It creates a nice ambiance. Good for if you can’t sleep without a light on at night because they don’t get hot and you can see by them without being blinded.
Do your homework as soon as you get home. I know it sucks, and after over 7 hours at school you want nothing more than a break, but trust me. It’s better to start early than stay up late. Eat a snack and have some hot chocolate or ice water first, but try to do your work fairly soon.
If you have a bad habit that you are trying to quit, for each day you don’t do it, make a mark on your calendar. Use stickers, draw something, or just cross it off. Having a visual aid to your situation helps so much. especially helpful for self harm
Get some nice pens or pencils to write with. It makes annotating so much better.
Keep a planner. Don’t force yourself to remember everything. I’ve been using a bullet journal format this year, but in the past I have ordered planners specifically for school off of Amazon. They sell great ones with all of the subjects listed for each day.

The Ultimate Planner For A Muslim Student: 2017-2018
Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
We pray this reaches you in the best of health and imaan.
Alhamdulillah, we’re super excited to introduce our brand new design and layout for the Ultimate Planner For A Muslim Student 2017-2018!
This year, we went all out, and not only revamped our design, but added a whole load of extra material to help boost productivity!
Let’s take a closer look insha’Allah:
Tumblr media
Firstly, we have THREE brand new cover designs to choose from! Starting from the top right and ending bottom right:
1. Ice Splash
2. Vintage Calm
3. Tropical Summer
We apologise if we now have you craving ice-cream!
Tumblr media
Next, we have our oh-so-important contents page! A minimal view of what you can expect when you turn those pages!
Tumblr media
Our signature ‘Duas for Studying’ page! This super important page has been placed at the very front of the planner, for both ease of accessibility and a means of a reminder. We’re only successful with Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala’s help!
Tumblr media
We always have a long list of dua’s for what we desire in this world: A* in exams, lots of money, big houses, a brand new car… but have we ever made du’a for that which is everlasting? Surely the one who looks after his akhira, and fixes his hereafter, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala will grant him the dunya (world) along side it.
Tumblr media
Whether it’s a reminder of Eid, or when Ramadan begins, or even exam dates - we have you covered! Never forget an important date again.
Tumblr media
This right here, is how we build productive lifestyles. A lifelong habit, a lifelong dream, begins with small steps. But it’s not enough to just have goals. We must note down the steps needed to achieve them, and give them a deadline so we remain focused. Our planner helps you to do just that.
Tumblr media
And then our ‘Ideal Day’ page. We all dream of having super productive mornings, and early evenings. Writing down a routine helps us to keep track, and make sure we’re not wasting one of our most precious blessings - Time.
Tumblr media
Our planner begins from August 2017 and ends in July 2018. That’s 52 productivity/study tips, one every single week to keep you motivated and going!
Tumblr media
Track your Qur’an recitation and memorisation daily with our trackers. You’ll never lose what page you were last on or the last Surah you memorised.  I once read somewhere; Give time to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala and Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala will give you time!
And that’s it guys for the sneak peek! We have lots more packed in our planners this year including:
- Study tips
- Reminder/Due Today/To Do lists daily
- Homework and Assignment daily tracker
- Duas of the week to memorise on a weekly basis
- Habit tracker: Build 3 new habits, or break bad habits every month!
And MUCH more! We have images of 12 beautiful Masjids from around the world and a monthly quote for us to reflect and ponder upon.
Alhamdulillah, this planner is now available for Pre-Order! All orders will be despatched September 1st. FREE UK DELIVERY.

Please Like/Share/Reblog and get ready for an upcoming giveaway sometime during the summer.
More details will be posted soon so watch this space!

Please remember us, our families and the whole ummah in your duas and a humble request that you make du’a, may Allah accept this from us. Aameen
Fi Amanillah.

heyyy, I want to ask you how to initiate a studyblr :) Idk if you already answered, but I hope you answer me. Btw, sorry by the bad english
hello! no worries, your English is just fine :-)
If you want to start a studyblr, I recommend just start posting a lot of original content (pictures of your notes / your own study tips / your planner / etc.) or reblogging from various other studyblrs if you’re not ready to post your own content. I usually use these tags for my study-related posts: studyblr, studyspo, studyinspo, study inspiration, studyspiration, etc. It’s okay if you don’t get notes, just focus on building content and you’ll slowly gain followers! You should also make an about me/intro post and tag some of your favorite studyblrs. I’m sure a few of them would give you a shoutout or promo if you politely ask. You can also send messages to your favorite studyblrs and introduce yourself to the community ^__^But of course, regardless of followers/notes, make sure your studyblr serves you the way you want it to help you (academically/ for motivation/ or whatever reason). Good luck!!
