i'm like 99% sure julie won't die so i'm not worried about her but omg tabitha is going through so much right now with her child in pain/danger and being unable to help... T_T

i felt really bad for mari when she said she doesn't want to be like this 😔 she deserves to get better and to get to be fully herself. she's getting a lot of hate in the fandom that i feel is unwarranted, we've only seen her being really sick and even then she's always been trying to help the others

this should be its own post but i'd like to see a jade and marielle friendship, she would probably get REALLY serious with him if she hears him casually joke about how much he's into party drugs like he did around kenny, and tell him that he should count himself lucky to still be able to just get away from all that consequence-free. i also want a boyd and marielle dynamic, he's good at adopting troubled girls

i don't need a lot to be happy. jade sitting as autistically as possible on the kitchen counter means everything to me. he's just so easy to love, like a cat. also i really appreciate the way the show moved heaven and earth to make jade and tabby end up alone together for the night. the matthews house getting demolished + the new horror making it so that no one can be alone at night + jim leaving his family to go on his crazy adventure at the RV... im grateful i truly am

jade really took the supportive role to tabby's lead in the investigation and i love that for them. there's something so special to me about this dynamic, we're so used to genius guy detective + layman sidekick, seeing it flipped is so special to me. tabby is so awesome that the rich genius guy is actually her sidekick! love them sm

victor, tian chen, julie and ethan were so so sweet i'm literally heartbroken about what ethan said to victor!!! now that jade just learned to be normal istg this poor man can't catch a break???? he's a kid and he's scared i obviously don't blame him but i bet victor was so hurt T_T still im really happy to see him be more social. he's in good hands with tian chen. i swear the new "can't be alone at night" horror was engineered in a lab to socialise the loners against their will like feral kittens and i'm so down with it LMAO like yes you can bet i'll write jade fanfic about this

im really enjoying these scenes even if i'm suffering so much for kenny and i just want to yoink him out of this depressing plot they got him in, he belonged in that room playing board games with victor the kids and his mom istg!!! but all the sara scenes are extremely compelling and omg kenny is just so !!! i need to hug him. he went through that to keep everyone else safe SIGHS

sara's got a... way of dealing with the whole thing that's for sure. she brought up like the worst possible conversation topic when looking at the map LMAO i just couldn't believe it was possible to screw up that bad. i kinda have a bit of paranoia specifically about going crazy and killing someone and then having to emotionally deal with that (just my brain being my brain dont ask) so her plot fascinates me because i've mulled over how i'd feel and how i'd deal with a situation like that so much. but i draw the sympathy line at hurting kenny and she's still hurting him so !!!!!!!! girl just shut up when he asks you to shut up it's not that hard arghh

really good insight about the place and peoples fears though. was she saying that the place gets stronger the more people it manages to kill? thats a really nice explanation for all the mix-and-match weird horror stuff going on together at the same time tbh, i like it a lot if it's like that. if khatri was afraid of god's punishment or something like that then i guess they're royally fucked (some of victor's drawings showed the place getting flooded...)

hello!! it’s me again!! happy (lateish) birthday to the bestest girl ever, miss ik!!!! so of course ive come here to ask ik centric questions

since jtta has not ended yet, you totally dont have to answer this but what would ik’s reaction be when returning home after the whole year? would she actually manage to get on buzzfeed unsolved after mysteriously disappearing in the middle of class? how did everyone react to that….

young adult/adult ik time! now as an adult, how does ik feel about having pacts with the seven most powerful demons in the devildom? big accomplishment, kid

also, what does older ik feel about her future?? does she want to go to college, or does she have any future jobs she wants to work?

lets ignore the seasons past season 1 of obey me for a second …. now in the human world, i would assume the brothers and the other students would come to visit ik. how do you think they would do in the human world and how do you think others (humans, ik’s friends, family etc…) would react to them?

as for your questions about ik - i'll answer the ones that i'm not planning to go into more depth on later ^^

ik's feelings on returning home i'll leave for later - but in terms of her disappearance, it's been kept quiet to prevent panic, and later diavolo'd pull some strings to keep it that way. though the classmates who were there in the class she disappeared in will continue to insist it happened, it's kind of treated as a weird mass hallucination

ik actually won't be going back to her old school, because the logistics (and also everything she's missed) would make it a mess, but some of her old classmates will notice her suddenly appearing around town again - with a weird assortment of really tall dudes - and while some attempt to ask her about what the HELL happened, she's always super evasive about it... though there's probably at least one classmate who's gone super detective about it

adult ik has to stop herself from adding 'made pacts with 7 uber powerful demons at the tender age of 14-15 and if you don't hire me they'll all be mad at you' to her CV. she entertains herself by imagining what her host of brothers would do if she summoned them on this rude guy at the co-op

in terms of her future... ik's just kind of winging it, but i can imagine her going to uni to study something to do with animals - maybe she'd be a herpetologist, maybe an ornithologist... or maybe just biology in general. diavolo likes to joke that she's an honorary teacher of creature studies at the rad (prof elderflower is so proud)

i'll leave the specifics of her friends visiting her for a future post-jtta bonus, but i reckon most of ik's friends just assume she has a really weird extended family. there's probably also at least a few people around town who have crushes on one of the guys. meanwhile, luke can get away with putting on normal clothes and just hanging out with ik whenever (lucky guy!)

zhao (ik's dad) and aunt lisa's reactions to ik's new found family will be explored later! but for now i will say that zhao definitely appreciates them (still terrified of them though), while aunt lisa likes half of them and would hit the rest of them with a broomstick if given the chance

I'm going to say things bc that's how I cope.

As a person who thinks that if you're going to do something you should do it right, I can't help it, it bothered me how sloppy this season felt. Of course I fully blame HBO and their cheapness, but it stills bothers me. Not only we got two episodes less than s1, but the 8 we got were shorter, and you can tell. I also blame the budget cuts for the constant yet unnecessary flashbacks, and the weird editing, and the anticlimatic pace. In any case, I want to highlight the things I did like, because I fucking love this show and Im sure that after a rewatch or two I'll be less angry, so let's stay positive:

Since it seems they were having trouble to get the complete cast together in one plot, I do love they kinda let them have their spotlight one by one. Like, Frenchie in the first episodes, Wee John as Calypso, Lucius with his PTSD in ep5... It's not the same as s1, but it's something.

I've seen people complaining about this, but Im happy they didnt invest too much time on the forgiving process. I like it better when everyone gets along fine, and in the end they're pirates and they never seemed to be the kind of people who hold grudges, so yeah lets skip to the nice part.

I did like a lot what they did with Izzy. I don't care if it happened too quick or what, I used to feel indiference towards him and this season I actually enjoy his scenes a lot. I still dont know how I feel about his death tho. It bothered me a little that the whole scene was more about Ed than Izzy himself, but in the end I always saw Izzy as a narrative tool in Ed's arc more than as a character of his own, so I guess it makes sense.

Super happy with the music choices, and also the new outfits.

Really, the first five episodes were absolutely brilliant.

It made me so happy they got Bronson Pinchot as Ned Low.

Huge fan of Zheng Yi Sao and Auntie.

Im so fucking furious at Taika Waititi for his pro-Israel shit that seeing Pop Pop attacking him gave me some sort of inner peace.

Now, things I wished had been done differently: - There were a lot of paralelisms with s1, which is good, but I'd like they brought back more actual elements of s1 into play. Like, the lighthouse painting, the secret wardrobe, the pink robe, a third Badmington (he would have work better as big bad than this prince ricky guy I dont really care about?). Frenchie singing again. This oneis a reach, but I would love to have Mary Bonnet back. And I was really hoping they play with the fact that Stede is "dead". The guy doesnt even mention the Master Fuckery from ep10.

-On that note, I was a little dissapointed on Jim's arc. I was never that invested on them or their plot in s1, but it feels weird how this season it seems like none of that even happened. Even Jim felt like a different character. I feel it would worked better if some of the conflict was related to Siete Gallos stuff, so at least it would feel all of that subplot wasnt a waste of time.

-Little missing opportunities of making me happy: Anne Bonny and Mary Read mentioning Jack (to insult him, mostly); they kissing when the house is on fire; Ed finding not just one letter but the whole pile of them; a better narrative use for Seagull Buttons (well, any narrative use, really); developing the bombclocks thing in a way where Auntie was not deprived of her superhuman detective skills; having Ned Low as bigger villain, with several appearances.

-The general development of Ed/Stede in the final episode... It's just confusing to me. My reading of Stede's mind state was that he was on autopilot since he killed Ned Low, and being abandoned by Ed and having his ass kicked by Zheng would wake him up a little, but this episode he's still in PROBLEM SOLVER mode, zero regrets about anything, still hasn't talked anything through EVER, he's just fine. With Ed I dont even ask for coherence bc he's always been a wtf guy, but I dont understand the "just do whatever you're good at" thing in the beginning of the episode, and he claiming back his leathers and his pirate-self and going on berserker mode and fighting along Stede as equals and blablabla if at the end he's still chosing to be a fucking innkeeper. Also, having a shitty inn in the middle of nowhere sounds too close to the antique shop in ep4, didn't they learn ANYTHING from Mary and Anne? I mean, the innkeeping was a predictible outcome, but the setting up of the episode was really aiming to the opposite, so it feels weird to me. In any case, I'm happy they're together and if being absolutely on their own in the loneliest house in the world doesn't get them to improve their communication, idk what else they could do.

-Still think they should have been lighthouse keepers instead.

-Next season Im totally muting every OFMD tag as soon as they announce the trailer release, because the promo and bts content was absolutely TOO MUCH. Those fuckers had been showing us stuff from the very climax of the fucking last episode since weeks before the season aired. I get it's a me problem, but I do believe it ruined my experience a lot, so fuck that.

And well. That's it. Good season, could have been great. Im happy but sad. Let's just hope that, if there's a season 3, they gave them more money and time to do it properly.

And before I post this and run away from tumblr, Im checking out how much of my wishlist had been fulfilled: - LUCIUS IS ALIVE - Stede Bonnet, berserker era [Not as I imagined, but hey] - The Queen Anne’s Revenge, either being captured or coming back as the ship Ed left behind when he went to The Revenge - The Blockade of Charleston (and make really absurd) [Still might happen in the future?] - Anne Bonny and Mary Read(as middle aged women who kinda mirror Ed and Stede, but they did it right) - Since he was already mentioned in s1, it would make sense introducing Hornigold, maybe as a new antagonist or something. - A rip off of that wwdits episode with the Vampire Council, except this time is the Pirate Council and its members are pirates from other movies and shows [I was really dreaming big here] - On that note, a really weird episode with every person who has played Blackbeard in recent years [Fully tripping] - More women and more asian characters. And more people speaking their mother tongues [So many Chinese gals, not one chinese word :(] - Ed finding out about Stede’s death and believing it [It did happened but not how/when we thought] - Ed meeting Mary and getting along [Never losing hope on this one] - Frenchie adopting a cat (and singing a song about it). - More info about everyone’s pasts. - I would LOVE having Bartholomew Roberts in the show. [YES PLEASE]

1) What was your first exposure to Danganronpa?

There's a few different answers to this depending on the level of awareness I had on what DR was. In like 2014-ish I had a friend cosplay as Monokuma, but had literally no idea what DR was at that point despite them enthusiastically recommending it to me. A few years later, another friend cosplayed as Chiaki, equally clueless then. It wasn't until like lockdown that I saw a play through of DR1 come up in my recommended on YouTube and I was just like "I vibe with detective games right now, sure" and then I experienced The Horrors (cautiously affectionate). Though I did vaguely recall Hifumi's death when I saw it for the first time, definitely hadn't seen the whole game before.

6) Do you have a fan character? Tell us about them!

I somehow don't have a DR fan character yet! Mainly because my brain took a different route and just started throwing my own characters into a slightly modified DR-like scenario as a game design challenge for myself. More focused on changing parts of the killing game formula and stuff. :p

7) You get the chance to reassign five characters new talents. Who do you choose, and which new talents do they get?

Gonna do this with the angle of characters keeping their underlying personality, and force myself to choose at least one per game. Leon is now the Ultimate Stage Actor, and yes he still wants to be a rock star - dude never learns his lines, just improvs flawlessly. Taka is now the Ultimate Lawyer, and my boy does NOT cope with the changed rules of killing game trial mayhem, repeatedly explaining that you can't just do the death penalty like that and Monokuma telling him to stop being a spoilsport. Hiyoko is now the Ultimate Opera Singer, partially because it makes it ten times funnier that she likes Ibuki's screamo, and because I find it very funny the idea of her absolutely dragging someone through the mud with words while singing Like That. Gundham Tanaka is now the Ultimate Janitor. No further comment, imagine what you will. Finally, I'm gonna say that Shuichi is now the Ultimate Marksman. He retains a literal eye for detail, the insecurity from rooty-tooty-thing-go-shooty thing going wrong, and a better background for the trial text going as absolutely buckwild as it does while the player still handles it, as well as better meta for not participating in the fundamental trial stuff near the end. You're asking the Ultimate Marksman to not take any shot.

Not all of those are amazing choices but it is 6am and I'm writing this because I can't sleep lmao

20) What is your favorite aspect of Danganronpa?

For as flawed as they are, the characters are what I latched on to and made me keep playing. Don't have much more to say without going on essay-length rants about individual character analyses right now though. But the characters are definitely a big draw.

27) You’re placed in a Killing Game as yourself (who you are now, no perks). How far do you believe you’d get?

Bestie, I am fucked. I am exceedingly killable and the embodiment of the Barely Hanging In There Star. I'd be paranoid, self-isolate as much as possible, and that would give anyone that figures out where I go an easy place to kill me with no witnesses. If I don't die first, I'm either a dishonourable second, or the least memorable of the two chapter three victims (because I'm assuming the others are still Ultimates, so I'm literally Just Some Guy) that the writers just get rid of because I outlived whatever subplot significance I had.

39) Which character do you feel deserves more love?

This is a hard one to answer simply from the fact I'm very much in my own bubble and don't really know the fandom's most beloved blorbos. Gonna do a few different ones for different interpretations of the question. Korekiyo was done dirty by the writing and could've been an interesting character but instead just feels like a waste of a good motive, so he deserved more love by the DR writers. Leon seems very ignored because first killer, obvious killer once the investigation started and his literal name was at the scene, and relatively shallow what we got in just the original game. So he could probably do with more attention to expand on his character. And I just don't want the TERFs to have Tenko, so I'm gonna say Tenko. Tenko would aggressively support trans rights, you can't change my mind. Deserves more love from non-TERFs.

46) What are some of your pregame headcanons?

I'm going to assume this is mainly about the V3 crew and answer based on that. And because I'm not creative, one pre-game headcanon per character.

Rantaro was a hell of a homebody, but got very good at cooking, and enjoyed trying to create foods from different cultures as accurately as possible. Danganronpa had a hell of a time getting ahold of him for the 52nd game.

Kaede was actually incredibly good at maths. Never saw herself as the creative type because of it.

Ryoma was actually a relatively happy-go-lucky guy, before the Character Writing made him depressed. He was a very good singer, too.

Kirumi was one of the popular kids, but like... the Secondary Character of the main popular kids friends group. She let you copy off her homework because she was equally as confident when she was completely wrong as when she was right.

Angie regularly ran DnD campaigns for a small group of people. She was the glue holding the friend group together, and the one who stopped them drifting apart.

Tenko was studying psychology in her free time in a desperate attempt to try and find a way to outwit her ADHD. Mainly she just ended up going down Wikipedia rabbit holes. Very good on the clarinet.

Korekiyo was just a normal guy. Didn't have a sister. Healthy relationship with his existing family. He had a pet dog that he hung out with a lot after school. He never brushed his hair.

Miu was actually a completely average student, the kind of person you'd never happen to really meet unless someone introduced you. But by God she was passionate about writing. Not that she ever told anyone.

Gonta was very much a gym bro. Neglected a lot of his studies to get back on the grind, but was still quite naturally smart. He paid no mind to people wondering how a teenager like him was jacked as fuck.

Kokichi was very much your archetypical emo kid. Got very good at pretending everything was fine for the sake of not getting bothered by people, and tried to blend into the background. He wanted to hack the school website for fun but couldn't be bothered to figure it out.

Kaito was the guy to go to if you needed to pretend you had a boyfriend for an event. He'd do it for a day's lunch money. Solid C+ student in everything but art, where he was a B+ student.

Keebo, I have always imagined as a regular guy who was augmented into a cyborg masquerading as a robot. Aka, not actually even a robot, but Danganronpa fucked him up big time for their purposes. He was a very sporty kid, but didn't like people drawing attention to it. He just had a lot of energy.

Tsumugi... I find it hard to do a headcanon for her because I can't even agree with myself whether she's actually a teenager or an adult cosplaying as one. But she had a small close knit group of friends that she'd spend at least one weekend a month with.

Maki was really looking forward to studying literature in her higher education. But then someone made her apply to Danganronpa on a dare, and she did it to shut them up, intentionally making herself sound as boring as possible to reduce the chance she got picked. Unfortunately, Team Danganronpa took it as a challenge.

Himiko was the one who you'd hear about doing some wild shit, but then you'd meet her in person and the vibe can only be described as the gif of SpongeBob sitting in a coffee shop looking sad. You could never be sure if the things you heard were rumours or true.

Shuichi was the disruptive one with anger issues. He'd aggressively disagree with the teacher's opinion just because he could and he was bored. The only exception was in Geography. It was the one subject that for some reason calmed him down.

"So...how have you been?"

Lisa would be lying if she said she was giving Joy her undivided attention. She certainly wasn't. In fact, she was doing the complete opposite. Only listening to keywords and the pauses in sentences that indicated it was probably her turn to start speaking.

She couldn't have cared any less about what her Ex-Wife had to say to her. She was her Ex-Wife for a damn reason. Lisa was more preoccupied with how she was going to fix the other 98 problems that she had cultivated for herself within the next 48 hours. Lisa was more preoccupied with how she was going to get you to look her in the damn eye.

"Cut the shit, Joy. You do not care. And I'm not going to pretend that I care how you have been. If either of us gave a shit, I'm sure that we would talk way more frequently."

Of course, part of the reason you hadn't said much of anything to her was because Lisa herself hadn't bothered to say anything first at risk of gaping like a freshly plucked from the ocean catfish. There was no need to embarrass herself more than she already had in front of you. She was guarding her own sanity at this point. And naturally, this had manifested itself into her grown-ass either trying to hide behind one of those seven-year-old boys that stole her face, the sofa, or one time (that she would like to forget) behind a thin lamp like that Shaq meme.

"Actually, you don't answer my frequent calls."

It was working, though! If only because you found the whole coward thing a turn-off. But, Lisa made a pact with herself in her head. She wasn't going to talk to you until she had something to say. Or rather, until she had something to say that you actually wanted to hear. Or even ratherer, until she had something to say that you actually wanted to hear and that she actually wanted to say. Being the bearer of her own bad news had gotten old quickly.

"Yeah. Because I don't care how you're doing. I thought we just established that."

Mincing her words was getting old too. From now, on Lalisa Manoban was not sparing feelings any longer. It's about time she started to be selfish.

Joy sighed and rolled her eyes harshly. Lisa only shrugged.

"So. Again. I ask...what the fuck do you want, Park ?"

Calling people by their surname really got the point across. It was so formal. So distant. You did it to make a point. Lisa hated it. It was one of the reasons why she always corrected you. If the twitch in Joy's eye is anything to go by, then it was safe to say that she hated it too. And oh boy, this had to be the first time since the first year of their marriage that they were on the same page about something.

"I heard you were getting married."

"Who hasn't?" Her engagement had been public knowledge for over a year now for anyone who paid attention to things of that sort. Joy Park was definitely one of those people.

"How do the boys feel about it?"

Lisa rubbed the bridge of her nose incessantly, "Confused. They're seven. They'll get over it."

Joy nodded thoughtfully and tapped her hands lightly on the edge of the bar counter, "But, will you?"

Lisa paused mid nervous lip bite, "Will I what?"

Joy gestured with her hand, "Will you get over it?"

"Dumb it down for me, Detective."

Joy laughed with little humor in her voice, "Will you get over being married to someone you can't stand? I mean you've done it before-"

"Who said I can't stand Seulgi?"

"You did. Your eyes. Your hands. Your lips. This is exactly how we looked at each other after the boys were born. And we were miserable for the next three years."

"It's a business thing."

"Oof. Heard that one before. How'd she take it?"

Lisa kissed her teeth, "I assume you're not talking about Seulgi."

"Of course not."

"She practically laughed in my face. I picked one with a backbone this time." Lisa threw her hands up as if to say 'My mistake".

"You were waiting to throw that one in my face weren't you."

"You cheated on me. I was pregnant. With big-headed twin boys. And you cheated on me. So yes, I've always got several insults on the tip of my tongue just waiting."

"And here I thought you were over that anyway...yeah...so what are the terms of the ultimatum she gave you."

Lisa sighed. You hadn't really given her terms. There was no 'If you really loved me, you'd do this', no "It's me or her". Only you saying you were leaving. Only you telling her she knew what she needed to do to get her back. It was more of an open-ended question that Lisa was too pussy-foot to answer. A solution that she was too chicken shit to implement. In the end, Lisa's sure you wanted Lisa to do something not just for you, but for herself.

"To fix it."

"I get it. Fucking the nanny isn't good for business. Not sure how doing the family thing with a detective was."

Lisa shook her head thoughtfully, "You were only a detective that first year we were dating. Attorney by the time we were married. You were on track to be the newest DA by the time the boys would have been five. My parents loved you for some reason. But, we never made it that far-wait. How'd you know Y/N was the boys' nanny?"

Joy laughed loudly, a fond smile playing across her mouth, "You've got whore tendencies, Lili. Just drew a logical conclusion."

Lisa rolled her eyes, "Whatever."

"So, how are you going to fix it?"

"Beats me. You wouldn't happen to have any ideas would you?"

Joy sipped at her now watered-down bourbon on the rocks, "Oh God no. My last stable relationship was with you."

"Oh. So you just came to point out the obvious? Thanks, Joy. You've been such a big help and not a complete pain in my ass."

"I'm sure you'll figure it out, Lisa. In fact, I've got a feeling you already have."

Lisa sighed again, "...Yeah. Thanks, Joy. This conversation served zero purpose for me."

Joy shrugged, "I know. I was just being selfish. This was all for me."

"Nothing new. Still not discussing the terms of custody."

Joy laughed lightly again, "They are way better off living with you. I'll just continue to send Birthday cards."

"And I'll continue to not give them to them. Don't look at me like that, I'm kidding."

"You better be."

Lisa was quiet for a moment, she stared at the bar top as she spoke, "Do you believe in soulmates?"

"Um.., no I don't think I do."

Lisa nodded only half listening to Joy's answer, "Hm. I think I do."

"Good luck, Lili."

"Lord knows I'm gonna need it."

"Here's the paperwork, Lisa." Lisa's father (well Chaeyoung's father technically) sat down the papers on her desk. He then sat in the chair across from her as if he owned the place. Relaxing to his heart's content. Chaeyoung, who was there for witness reasons, sat in the other chair before he could kick his feet up onto it.

She eyed the papers with a bored expression. Hesitating as inconspicuously as she could. Luckily, on most days he wouldn't be able to notice a hurricane if it swept him away.

"You know, after the wedding, tomorrow, your mom and I were thinking of going on a honeymoon of our own."

Lisa couldn't have stopped the words from tumbling out of her mouth even if she tried, "With whose money?"

Her father popped one eye open and aimed it towards Lisa as much as he could without straining, "What do you mean? Once Seulgi signs over her shares we'll be swimming in the green stuff."

"What about the boys? I thought you guys were watching them while Seulgi and I are to be in Jeju."

The wrinkles on the man's forehead deepened. Lisa found it funny that Chaeyoung, for the most part, looked nothing like him. Especially when he frowned so hard he could probably taste the action.

He looked positively miffed that his relaxation station in Lisa's office chair was being compromised," Isn't that what that nanny of yours is for?"

"I told you. Today is her last day." And what a hard pill to swallow that was.

"Hmm. Poor timing on your part. But fine. We'll just take the boys with us. Or just drop them with Chae. Not like she has plans." Chaeyoung squeaked in protest.

About a month ago, Lisa would have fallen into inconsolable hysterics at that. But now, she just feels bad for her sister. Maybe, Seulgi had a friend she could set Chaeyoung up with.

"Yeah okay." Lisa just shook her head.

"Anyway, hurry up and sign the papers. I have to turn them into the county clerk. They're already pulling strings for this. We're being highly untraditional here, Lali."

"Fine."

She scribbled her signature in all the required places, her father watching stiffly, maybe even a little surprised that this didn't take more guilt-tripping. Chaeyoumg for her part looked more upset than Lisa did.

"Great. I will see you two bright and early at the venue tomorrow morning. You know the drill." And didn't she just.

He left with no further preamble. Chaeyoung practically jumped on the desk as soon as the door shut.

"Please tell me you have a plan."

"We agreed to stop lying to each other."

"Lili!"

"What? I have something. It's definitely not a plan per se. But what could I possibly lose at this point?"

"Y/N! You could lose Y/N!"

Little did, Chaeyoung know, that simply wasn't an option.

"Today's the day," You said into your phone camera. Jisoo and Jennie were scrunched together on your phone screen staring at you with identical expressions.

"You're really leaving and going back to Hongdae? Over some stupid girl! What about me?" Jennie exclaimed all but shoving Jisoo out of the frame and getting impossibly close to the camera.

"What about you, Jennie?" You said as you packed the last of your belongings away. Your Uber to the train station would be there soon. You already said your tearful and confused goodbyes to the boys, the only thing left you had to do was get on the train. And all of this would be behind you. Literally.

"You won't stay even for me? Don't tell Sooya this but. I like you more than her." She winced and held her shoulder. You had it on good authority that Jisoo probably flicked her.

"You remember what I told you about what my parents told me before I came here. Looks like they won."

Jennie whined like a child, "But you haven't even tried."

"Oh believe me. I have."

"No, I'm not talking about The World's Worst Nutcracker. I'm talking about your dance stuff. Maybe you can choreograph Jisoo's and I's first dance."

"OMG! One gig! That'll surely yield a tangible profit and put me on the radar of large companies!"

"Stop being mean!" Jennie's pouting face was all you saw until a hand came to mush her face off the screen and replace it with Jisoo's.

"Ignore her, Y/NN. If you think the best move for you is to go back home. Then go. But, just remember she's probably just as miserable without you, as you are without her. You were dealt a bad hand from the beginning, but one bad hand doesn't mean you'll lose the game, okay? I know you love her and you love the boys-I guess I'm just saying make sure you're thinking this through and not just running on a whim because you're scared."

Jisoo was right. You needed Lisa like you needed air to breathe. But from where you were standing, it seemed like you were going to suffocate no matter what you did.

"Yeah. I get it. I've thought it out plenty. I won't be gone for long. Probably help Mama and Dad out for a few months, and then maybe I'll be back, slinging drinks behind that bar with Soo."

"You could move in with us."

You laughed lightly, "No I can't. You guys just got engaged. No need to babysit my heartbroken ass. Let my mom do it. She's used to it."

They both sighed dejectedly, now sharing the frame once again, "Fine. We'll see you when we see you, I guess." Jennie mumbled out.

"Yes. You will. That's how seeing works. I'll text you when I get home. Bye."

Jennie clicked off the call quickly, obviously mad at you. You only sighed, she would get over it sooner or later. With that, you started to drag your few suitcases down to your Uber.

The ride to the train station went on in silence. Your driver rightfully assumed that you were not in the mood for small talk or even background noise. He helped you with your suitcases and then drove off with a polite wave.

You looked down at you one-way ticket to home. It seemed to be running a bit late, but that was okay, because so were you.

You sat heavily on one of your suitcases and stared up at the noon sky, and wondered what the hell had you gotten yourself into over the last six months. Fucked around and fell in love, only for it to blow up in your face. Yep. Sounded about right.

"Are these suitcases taken?"

You could probably identify Lalisa Manoban's voice on vibration alone at this point. It didn't hurt that her voice was followed by unmistakable seven-year-old giggles. But you knew better than to look at any of them. Instead, you kept your eyes on the overcast Seoul sky.

"That's never stopped you before."

"Ugh. You're so right. Take a seat, boys. Mom's got some begging and pleading to do. This might take a second." You could tell when all three of them set down in unison. Sometimes, you wondered if Lisa knew how much the boys were like her.

"Lisa, you-"

"Hey. My turn to talk. You've done enough for the rest of our lives."

You pursed your lips.

"I'd like to start by saying, I'm sorry. I know since I hired you I put you through the wringer. In more ways than one. I guess at the time, it all seemed like a necessary evil, but it wasn't. Not when your feelings were hanging in the balance. All I've been giving you are excuses on top of excuses, and you don't deserve any of that. I was putting everyone's needs before mine but yours. I was treating you like you were always going to be there no matter what kind of bullshit I put you through."

"Mom. That's a cuss word." Dohyung said helpfully,

"Thank you, Doh. As I was saying. I was treating you like you were always going to be right behind me no matter what happened. And then today, you weren't behind me. Y/N. I'm going to need you to look at me for this next part."

And you look at her because you're a sucker. A fact that becomes even more apparent when she realizes that Lisa is still in her wedding gown, and the boys are still in their tieless mini tuxedos.

"Look at me when I say this. You were never just the nanny. I don't care what any person or contract tries to tell you. There was no way this thing between us wasn't going to happen. Because I believe in soulmates. And it took a few practice runs and false starts, but you're it for me. I'm so in love with you that it physically hurts. And because I know I haven't made it as clear as can be yet, turn on your phone and search my name."

You did as told again because you're a sucker.

Lalisa Manoban steps down as CEO of LLE as stocks plummet. Plans to start new entertainment company.

You choked on a gasp, "Lisa you didn't have to do that for me."

"Yes I did, I had to do it for the both of us. I'm sure the 'rents will have fun trying to dig LLE out of the hole I let it fall into." Lisa chuckled happily at the thought.

"So, you just left that poor woman at the altar?"

Lisa shrugged, "Eh. She didn't want to marry me as much as I didn't want to marry her."

You looked down at the news headline again. Trying to hold in a laugh when the boys peered over your shoulder to look at your phone as well.

When you looked back up, Lisa was kneeling in front of you. You raised an eyebrow.

"I'm not proposing marriage. Not yet at least. I have a business proposal."

You gestured with your head for her to continue.

"I don't want you behind me anymore. I want you next to me. I'm starting up a new business and I heard you know your way around a dance floor, so I was hoping you'd like to join me on this venture. As my partner. Also as my girlfriend, if that wasn't clear."

You stared at Lisa wide-eyed, unmoving.

Kijung tapped you on the shoulder, "Y/N, you're supposed to be gross and kiss Mom now." Dohyung nodded in agreement, confused as to why you hadn't done it yet. This seemed like a foolproof plan when Lisa was explaining it to them in the car.

"All you gotta do is say, 'Yes', Y/N. The ball's in your court."

kenma slowly opened his eyes. the dim rays of the sun were slowly peeking through his bedroom window as he stretched and rolled around his bed, wrapping himself up in a blanket burrito as he felt his eyes slowly fluttering close once again.

it had been atleast a week since he's actually gotten sleep, and now he's just trying to relish in the feeling of rest before he completely disregards it again.

all of a sudden, his phone rang.

"what the.." he mumbled with a groan

it was currently five in the morning, and he knew kuroo was smart enough not to call him. especially since kenma would usually just be gaming or would just straight up ignore him.

"hello?" he muttered to the phone, not bothering to check the ID

"good morning!" y/n's chirpy la-di-da voice resonated from the phone

immediately, kenma groaned and rolled his eyes. he had to fight the urge of hanging up the phone then and there.

"what do you want? and why are you calling me so early in the morning?" kenma asked

"now, now! don't be so stingy kenma-kun!" she laughed "i just wanted to check up on ya, that's all" she said, followed by soft humming of a melody

kenma blinked as he groggily listened to her words. "oh. okay.."

"thanks for that, i guess.." he said

"aww! your voice is all deep and gravelly in the morning! very hot." she chirped

kenma sighed. he could practically sense the stupid flirty smile appearing on her face. "and you sound oh so happy. as always." kenma chirped back sarcastically

a small smile grazed his lips as she started laughing on the other line.

"oh, kenma! you're so funny!" she chuckled "when have i ever been happy?"

"wait what-"

"anyways, kenma-kun.." she trailed off, her cheerful tone now dropped as an eerily serious and guarded one replaced it.

"y-yes?" kenma gulped

"im afraid im in a tight spot as we speak. its quite critical. please come to the location i will send you." she spoke in a monotonous tone

"huh? wait!" kenma exclaimed. he sat up on his bed, subconsciously reaching for his nekoma jacket which was messily laid out on the foot of his bed. "what are you talking about?" he asked, his hands were shaking, as well as his voice.

"its a crisis! only you can help!" she said

"okay. i-i'll be there.."

humming under her breath, y/n patiently waited for kenma to arrive. she didn't have so much faith at first, but once she heard the soft thumping of feet on the ground, she grinned.

"w-what happened?" kenma asked through ragged breaths as he skidded to a halt infront of her "a-and what are you wearing?" kenma asked

he took notice of her rather formal attire, laying underneath the sand colored coat she had. his brows then shot up as he calmed his ragged breathing.

"is this because of your weird detective work thing? did you get trapped?" kenma asked worriedly. when she didn't answer, he simply panicked even more. "why did you call me?! you should've called those other detective people!" kenma exclaimed

"i got in myself" she admitted with a small innocent smile

"what?" kenma deadpanned, now starting to regret running atleast eight blocks just to help her

"well, you see.. i heard there's a way to commit suicide by getting stuck in an oil drum. so i decided to give it a shot" she said with the same innocent smile. she then chuckled sheepishly as she started sinking deeper into the oil drum.

"but now that i've wedged myself in this deep, i can't get out on my own" she said

kenma simply stared her down, looking unamused, tired and annoyed. "i see." he says

"i think i might die" she pouted as she sank deeper into the drum.

kenma grunted and sat on the ground, sitting a few feet from the drum she was stuck in. he was kind of impressed on how her whole body hadn't snapped in two yet.

"well, isn't that what you wanted?" kenma said with a huff of annoyance

"i like suicide" she said with a scoff, sounding somewhat offended "but i don't like suffering and pain! why would i?"

"i see" kenma said with a sigh. he sat up from the ground and narrowed his eyes, trying to look for a way to free her from the oil drum

"also, i learned this only after i stuffed myself in here, but it wasn't even a suicide method!" she laughed

"but, it was actually a torture method from the-"

before she could even finish her sentence, she was cut off as kenma pushed the oil drum over, sending her and the drum rolling off. he let out a huge breath of air as he cradled his aching hands.

"ni-nice job, kenma-kun" she squeaked out as she wiggled free of the drum. "but now.. we have only an hour left before school starts" she said as she patted down her clothes and combed her fingers through her hair

"and i heard from nekomata-san that he has some news that you boys would surely love" she said as she stretched her aching muscles

"are we really gonna move past the fact that you wedged yourself in an oil drum!?" kenma exclaimed in aggravation

". . ." she looked at him with a dumb smile before sending him a wink and a thumbs up.

"yep! we sure are!"

"i hate you so much" kenma muttered

she smirked teasingly and loomed over his shoulder "hehehe~ well if you hate me so much, then why go through all the trouble to help me?" she cooed

kenma scoffed and flicked her away. "because we're.." he trailed off "nevermind.." a small blush covered his cheeks faintly, but it was enough to get her attention.

she chuckled lowly and poked his cheeks. she narrowed her eyes and tauntingly stared him down. "oya? what's this, kenma-kun? do you like me or something?~" she teased

kenma flinched and covered his cheeks with his hands "no! no i don't!" he quickly denied "i just thought that.." he muttered quietly

"since we're friends and all.. i thought it'd be right to help you.." kenma admitted bashfully

stunned from his words, she couldn't really do anything but stare at him blankly with widened eyes. "we're friends?" she asked

kenma spluttered at her response, suddenly feeling anxious and embarrassed, thinking that he overstepped their 'relationship'

"um- i mean.. i just thought that since we've been hanging out but.." kenma said nervously. he fiddled with his hands as he looked down at his feet, too embarrassed to look her in the eyes.

"sorry, i guess i overstepped. sorry for misreading things" he apologised

finally realising what she's done, she gasped in horror as she looked at his heartbroken expression "oh my gosh." she muttered "im so sorry!"

she frantically patted his back, and stroked his hair "i-i meant like- i didnt know you considered me as a friend!" she exclaimed "i kind of thought you just see me as a suicidal leech or something!" she shrieked

"im sorry kenma! kill me now!" she exclaimed dramatically

kenma finally looked up to see her tearing some of her bandages off, only for her to tie it tightly around her neck.

"im sorry!" she cried as she squeezed tightly, trying to strangle herself to death

"wait! don't do that!" kenma said in panic. his hands pried the bandages off and hastily threw them away.

"you don't have to kill yourself over me" kenma sighed

she sniffled and crushed him in her arms "kenma! you are most certainly my most treasured friend!" she cried

"i would die for you and with you!"

"let's not go too far" kenma said with a small smile

"shall we start with the double suicide now?" she asks, fully ignoring his interjection

"no <3"

"fukurodani?" she muttered, looking quite confused and clueless

"yes. it seems a three-day practice match has been scheduled" nekomata said with a smile "their coach suggested the idea and who was i to decline, am i right?" nekomata chuckled

"this will be a good opportunity for the team to train and explore new ways of playing for future tournaments." nekomata then looked at y/n and sent her a close eyed smile. "and a chance for you to test your managing skills, y/n-san" he said

she nodded in agreement.

"well then, now that that's settled.. you’re free to go! rest up and eat well! you'll be playing nonstop starting tomorrow" nekomata said as he ushered them out of the gym

"thanks, coach!" the team yelled

as the team arrives by the gate, they started to disperse. fukunaga, inouka, teshiro, and shibayama ended up declining the offer of an afterschool hangout. they claimed they needed the rest for upcoming games, so they left them be.

"bye guys! bye y/n-senpai! see you tomorrow!!" inouka yelled from across the street. the energetic first year was waving both his arms around while shibayama drags him along. fukunaga sends them a quick nod and a small wave before they completely disappear from sight.

"hm, so what do you guys wanna do?" kai asks with a smile

"let's eat!" lev suggested with a grin

"sure. where should we go? i don't really have a particular craving right now" kai said as he looked at his friends expectantly

"we should eat at the diner near that convenience store" yaku says "it's cheap and they serve great food"

simply humming to herself, y/n takes a quick look at the boys who seemed to be lost in their own conversations. her (e/c) colored eyes then landed on kenma, who seemed to busy with his game.

kuroo was holding on his bag, making sure the pudding-head wouldn't walk into oncoming traffic. she smiled at the boy, taking in his overwhelmingly beautiful features.

yamamoto was beside her, ranting about his friends from karasuno and their 'goddess of a manager'

"we’re here!" lev unnecessarily announced as he skipped into the said diner. "what should we eat?" he asks

"fish-" ; "meat-"

yaku and kuroo freeze and look at each other. their eyes silently roam one another as they look at the other with judgment.

"hah? are we really doing this again, yakkun?" kuroo scowled. the taller bedheaded male leaned down to get all up in yaku's face, while the latter simply did the same

"dont call me that stupid nickname, bedhead!" yaku scowled as well "and fish? pssh, what are you a grandpa?" yaku said with a snicker

"could you stop making comments proving you lack docosahexaenoic acid?" kuroo sneered in aggravation

"you're ought to eat more fish to fix that.. maybe even your height problem!" kuroo taunted

yaku scowled and gripped the taller boy's collar "your stupid face is begging to be hit!"

"no! kuroo-san, don't let him hit you!" lev yelled "he's feral!"

"oi! shut up!" taketora hissed as he covered lev's mouth with his hand

yaku turned to face lev, evidently irked and angered by his comment. "hah?! come here, you tall lampost! -"

"wah! yaku-san i didnt even do anything!" lev exclaimed with teary eyes as the shorter boy continued to kick him

kai and taketora then took initiative to calm their friends down. partially because they didn't want anyone injured. but mostly because they were fighting infront of the diner, and it was starting to get embarrassing.

"ke-n-ma~" she cooed in a sing song tone

kenma sighed and quickly glanced at her, before averting his attention back to his game "what?" he said

she smiled and laced their arms together. she then pointed to a bridge not so far away from where they were standing. "you see that bridge?" she asked "and the pretty river under it?"

"oh god. i see where this is going." kenma groaned. he turned off his game and followed her finger, eyeing the bridge she was talking about.

"wouldn't it be so nice if we just jump off-"

"how about we don't do that?" kenma cut her off with a sigh

"but you're my friend right?" she whined childishly "don't friends die together?!"

"how about we don't die at all. doesn't that sound better?" kenma tried to convince her with a sheepish smile

her smile fell as she narrowed his eyes, seemingly disgusted and offended by his statement.

"what? no, not at all."

If this Bruce doesn't adopt Tim I will! But I'm kinda scared for Tim I mean he's either gonna end up with Buce or the titans at some point, im afraid that something terrible is gonna happen his family and then titans/bruce takes him in? That boy loves batman and robin so much like even his family seeing the news knew how much it would upset him although I will say that for the brain that kid has he makes some pretty stupid decisions, hes driving around GOTHAM plastered in the bat-symbol that's not a good idea! the amount of lunatics that roam free in Gotham (and possibly have escaped from arkham) and hate the bat and hes driving around with the bat symbol on him KID be careful!

Some kind of Anti-fear toxin does seem more accurate cuz he's clearly taking something to not be afraid. Maybe it's something he found in Gotham and decided to try it and got addicted so he's using that lab place to try recreate it? and maybe he can't recreate it perfectly cuz in the crowbarring scene he seemed kinda anxious about his surroundings and he'd just taken that inhaler thing to overcome fear so I dunno?? Or maybe he went to arkham to see Crane for some reason and Crane has orchestrated the whole thing and told him about the drug but then wouldn't Crane have to know everyone's identity then? Dude I dunno I need more episodes even tho the low quality glitchyness is painful lol

There's probably an abundance of rooms to choose from at Wayne manor yet Jason takes Dicks old room and keeps the flying graysons posters up! I like to think that he does view dick as an older brother and just took his room to kind of have a connection to him and that he admires him hence the graysons posters being left up, yooo dick calling him his brother! I really want a nice family reunion with dick jason and bruce 💕

Babs was too mean to bruce when she went off like I get where she's coming from but yo lady his son just died dial it down like a notch yikes but also babs being like 'i wonder how long it'll take for bruce to replace jason and dick is all 'what no the last thing bruce is gonna do is rope another kid into this mess'. Cut to scene of Bruces potential robin folder 😅 but I also like that dick was trying to be considerate and compose himself for bruce but once he found out that bruce is idiot enough to pull another kid into this, that that's when he got mad and bruce so brokenly begging dick to come back and be robin 😢😢😢

I know the show is constantly trying to push bruce out/sideline him cuz it's a titans show not a bruce wayne show and I know they're going for a different portrayal of bruce which I'm not complaining about I do like this version of bruce (more than I thought actually) and this universe but I feel like they could have gave more cracks you know, I like that they showed him trying to avoid the reality of jasons death and just not stopping not even for a second and just immediately jump into another case and that breakdown verge where he's begging dick to be robin and then when he finally I guess let's the weight of jasons loss sit on him to the point where he whacks in jokers head with a crowbar just like he killed jason (he could have killed joker so many other ways like a less violent bullet to the head but oh no brucey crowbars him to death!!)

There's a lot of character stuff that i do like but that scene where he's in the cave on his knees scrubbing his sons blood out of the suit he died in, the suit that he only ever wore because of batman. 😢 I feel like they could have had him crack there and let out a gut wrenching scream and then just continue on doing what he was doing as if nothing happened and dick walking in on that should have had more of a reaction!? like he could have stopped in his tracks at the sight of his brothers blood all over his father and bruce screaming, dick could have like took a step back almost like he's gonna run but forces himself to stay there, because who wouldn't want to run from that and no matter how much horrible things you've dealt with before sometimes your brain does just take over against your will and makes you react, the rest of the scene just could have played out the way it did. Literally one ounce more emotion is all I wanted.

No one really emotionally cracked at jasons death. I get that it just happened and that people put walls up and denial can be such a prominent thing when a loved one dies but it couldn't have been that difficult to put in little mannerisms now and again to show that everyone is deeply hurt but holding it in. Honestly gar seemed more hurt to me than dick did. But I do like that dick reacted in detective mode and started trying to figure things out from jasons side so at least there's that.

This redhood is defo not an anti hero he has well and truly landslided into villian territory and I dunno how that's gonna be reconciled? they better not kill him off! and they better not just straight up keep redhood/jason as a full on villian! but if they do get through to jason and bring him back a little how the heck is that little man gonna deal with what he did to Hank?? I feel like they had a bond you know and for all Hanks talk about putting Jason down I really don't think that Hank would actually have killed him even if it came down to Hanks life vs Jasons I think Hank would rather die than kill Jason (but that's heavily biased cuz in my mind jason is my son and I freaking love hank sooo) but Hank to me puts on a hard front like 'yeah I'll get in your face I'll come at you b*tch' but internally he's like 'yeah I'll come at you to help you' 😅 like internally he defo has a lot of soft spots though that's not to say he'd be like this for someone like the joker or scarecrow or whatever guys like that he'd be like no screw you you die or go to arkham like byeee

Nevermind how jason is gonna come back from this though HOW IN THE ACTUAL SH*T is dawn gonna come back from this!!?!!

Random side note here but imagine Jasons first time in the batcave he would be so excited and trying to mess with everything and being like ohh what's that do and pressing random buttons and bruce having a hernia trying to get jason to stop before he accidentally blows the cave up 😅 also he has probably been caught several times trying to 'borrow' the batmobile, I can just picture him trying to sneak down the halls of the manor without the floor creaking and making it all the way into the cave and doing a victory dance cuz he didn't get caught and he hops on into the batmobile in his pj's and let's out a scream cuz alfred is sitting in the freakin passenger seat waiting for him and then they just hang out in the batmobile alfred had the good foresight to bring a flask of tea books and a blanket for jason

Speaking of Alfred I think it would have been more angsty and hurtful if Alfred died shortly after Jason and after a few days Jason claws his way out his grave and the first thing he sees is Alfreds headstone and that's how he finds out Alfred died : (((

I was also rewatching and that gas he takes def has to be some anti fear toxin cause he mentions fear so many times and flash backed to his near death fall, which he felt was probably holding him and back and thus had to prove himself and adds to whatever is influencing him. But ohhh he did seem pretty dang anxious at the carnival grounds, that’s a really interesting theory but recreating something he found hmm, I can see that.

Apparently according to a YouTube who got to see the first 5 episodes, we find out what his deal is a lot more in episode 5, so one more week hopefully

Brooo trueee, I couldn’t believe jason took dick’s room and like didn’t even change anything. Like Jason looks or at least use to look up to Dick SO much, like in his first episode in the first season, he went on quite a lot about how much he had always wanted to meet him and how much he looked up to him, which is probably also fueling his red hood rage, being hurt by your idol and brother like he did in S2 must have really just killed the boy. But yes omg, there freaking better be a dang family reunion scene like, after so much angst we deserve that 😭

And yesss, I loved seeing how mature Dick is getting and just how much he is growing as a character, the fact he was so calm and considerate with Bruce at first really shows that compared to s1 Dick, only breaking when Bruce tried to get more kids involved. That scene by Brenton was sooo well acted omg, the way he yelled that he doesn’t want to robin again, heartbreaking man. And Bruce begging like that omg

Yeah, this version of Bruce is def so different than any Bruce we have seen on screen before, like def the most emotionally constipated, and that’s saying something xD But I like how they are taking a risk, it also helps Dick’s character more and give him more of an arc, as he seems to be taking on Bruce’s normal role with Jason and red hood. Bro, you are so right omg, like the fact Bruce could have killed the joker in any way and he does it with the dang crowbar. It really shows how broken he really was and why the man shouldn’t depressing any and every damn feeling and emotion lol.

Yeah, I do wish someone cracked (other than Bruce lmao) a bit more, but I do think each character reacted in character though, like it is very Dick(at least this version of Dick, other versions may break down tbh) to put everything into solving the case and figuring out what was up, that’s more this version’s way of caring than just breaking down, like he rarely ever has broken down completely. I think dawn could have been a little more emotional about the death (tho she has enough coming for her lmao). Connor didn’t know Jason that well so it makes sense he would just be sad. Gar seemed pretty sad and in character about it, maybe could have had a bit more, same with Kori, tho she showed it by being almost angry and fiercely protective of everyone else, so I think that makes sense for her. It would have been interesting to see how Rachel and Rose would have reacted though (where did rose go btw?! She would so have a reaction to Jason’s death). But yeah, i wish there was more resolution and break downs for Jason, but also it may have just not felt real since they weren’t there? But I agree

You think? Idk, I think they could def still make him an anti hero towards the end, especially if it’s crane behind the whole thing. Cause if they don’t they are gonna have to go down the gosh awful overused villain gets redeemed while he dies/only to die right freaking after , and I will be so freaking livid if they do that omg. But I can see him then that leading to the anti hero path, like he would never go back to be on the titans cause he would feel too guilty, thus giving more of a reason for the anti hero life. But I know, I loved Jason and Hank’s love hate relationship 😭😭😭😭 You know Hank secretly loved the kid and probably saw himself in him.

[Movie_Thai BL] My Bromance (2014) Spoilers/ Review/ Comment

Disclaimer: This is purely my opinion based on what I've seen in the movie. It is not my intention to offend those people behind this movie, the lgbtq+ community and those who are reading this.

Real Plot

Step brothers, Bank and Golf realized that their feelings for each other is more than just for siblings. They were separated. They met again. They fought and met an accident. Someone fcking died.

Setting

Breaking down the setting for this movie helped me in understanding it a bit. This movie was released in 2014. The date in the tomb said 2013. Things happened around for 2 years so maybe, 2011-2012 is the right time line for this (please correct me if my wrong).

Golf, Bank and their friends were calssmates and high school students back then.

Plot, thorough re-telling cause it doesn't make sense to me

First of all, I'm not from Thailand so I don't know what was happening there around this time frame but one thing is for sure, same-sex relationship is still a taboo back then (this was presented in the movie).

Youth. A fun stage in your life where you think you know everything but you know nothing at all. 😉

Young love. I'm actually jealous. I never experienced this. 😢 But Golf and Bank did.

It was never love at first sight cause Golf was bullying Bank at first (no to bullying please) but then Golf had a change of heart and they had a good sibling relationship.

Until Thon entered. He's your typical singing guy, handsome, popular but gay. He never actually hide it. 🙄 He confessed his feelings to Bank which Bank rejected. Golf, acting jealous, received a surprise confession from Bank. Little did Bank knew, his feelings were the same. 😍

And then they were lovers. They're friends already knew and they accepted them. Their parents didn't knew cause they're not always at home 🙄 but they were caught by Golf's aunt when they were being lovey-dovey and all reasons went to hell. 😢

Now is the right time to unstan their parents. I was so mad at them I was crying so hard.

They talked first to Golf saying they should break up cause their love isn't accepted by society. The fck. Golf asked his father if he could accept him as his son, his father asked him to think of him, his family and his ancestors. Like, what? Then Golf said that if he wants him to stop being like this (trying to be with Bank), then his father should also try stop being with his new wife. 😣

His father threatened him that he will bring him to America to study and if he won't go, he will bring Bank instead.

Bank's mom said something that really broke my heart. 💔 "It's my fault for raising Bank this way."

Like the fck. Sexual orientation is not something you give to your child. It something they discover within theirselves. And you don't have the right to choose for them. Again, today is 2020 and this story is way back in 2014.

Golf went out. Bank came down and was begged, yes, they begged him to break up with Golf. 💔

This was so frustrating! How could they? I know they could but how dare they? 😭

Golf said his final goodbye to all of them when he visited their class for the last time, asking their friends to take good care of Bank and he doesn't know if he will ever be back.

There was this one scene that made me blew up. 😤

Bank's mother introduced him to another gay guy cause they are the same.

The fck! I have no ill feelings towards gays but seperating them cause they like each other and then pushing him to another guy? The hell with that! 😤

6 months later, Golf came back to Thailand with his girlfriend he met in America. Bank was so hurt he started dating Thon (yes, he's still alive) without feeling anything for him. Golf here was annoying to be honest cause he kept on pestering Bank. Then Thon made an ass of himself, he tried to make a move on Bank which Bank escaped safely.

Then the fighting happened. Golf dragged Bank in the middle of the street, shouting at him. While Bank was trying to get out of his grip, a car crashed on them.

This scene made me, wut??? 😲 Bruh. You don't fight in the middle of the road. That is suicide. Please don't ever do this.

They were both rushed in the hospital. Golf has minor injuries, said the doctor. Bank had an emergency surgery. One of his kidney was removed, the other one is not doing its job propery.

Golf then begged his father to allow him to donate his kidney to Bank cause they were brothers and he's the reason why Bank was in that situation in the first place. They met briefly after that, Golf in a wheelchair, Bank in bed, looking so pale.

And here I was, thinking about a happy ending. I just 🤡 myself here.

Then Bank was healthy again and was told that Golf returned to America. Bank was in their old room (they shared a room back then cause they were siblings) and started reminiscing the past.

They had a couple ring. Bank was wearing it like a necklace. Then one day, he returned the ring to Golf saying he wanted them to return to being brothers instead of lovers (this was way back before Golf went to America) cause he felt sorry for their parents. Golf was having none of this but did took the ring bank.

A year later, Bank was celebrating his birthday with his old and new friends. The scene was Bank was unwrapping his presents until the last one which was a small box. It was their rings. His friend handed him a letter and this was where I literally broke down.

Golf donated his kidneys to Bank. He was never in America after the surgery. Yes. He donated both of his kidneys (I'm assuming both) cause he had a fcking brain tumor that was only detected when they had an accident. Golf fcking died. He fcking died months after the surgery. Their friends knew about it but their parents asked them not to tell Bank about it.

Screw them all. 😭 They robbed them of those precious times when they could still be together. 💔😭💔

Not being able to be with the person you love during your happy moments is one thing but not being able to share your pain, you regrets and your final moments with that person, I don't know, its just so unfair. How could their parents do this? They only have on this to do. Be a parent to their child and they can't even do it. My heart still cry for this moments. 💔😭💔

Bank and his friends visited Golf's tomb. They brought flowers and Bank left his ring there. Bank was doing monologues about having that *someone*.

Then this scene caught me off guard.

Golf's girlfriend holding a baby.

At first I thought, Bank and Golf's girlfriend did what??? 😱 But I realized, before the accident happened, an engagement party for Golf and her was supposed to happen. I feel sorry for the girl and their baby. She understood what was happening between Golf and Bank back then but maybe has the same circumstances as them, being told what to do by her parents.

Final thoughts

I did not know I was going to cry so hard for this movie. The first half was light, the second half was heavy I needed to pause and cry. 😭

I'm not sure what were the writers thinking when writing this movie. Is it to support same-sex relationship or to discouraged them because this too sad for me. 😭

I'm really disappointed to their parents, like super. I don't know the context in Thailand during this time but now, we are getting so many bl dramas with supportive families and I'm very happy and thankful for that. 😊

Bank and Golf were both 16 (if Im right) this movie and they did so well! 😭😭😭 The movie was a successs (I'm assuming) cause they made a series out of it (My Bromance: The Series) with a whole new casts.

Fluke Natouch (Bank) was so fluffy in here! 😭 He's smile is the same, he's crying face is the same, him being shy and angry are the same as today and he's just too adorable! He matured a little, I don't wanna say a lot (lols) but I think his acting is way better today (of course bruh, this was 6 years ago). 😂

Fluke Teerapat (Golf) was also good. If I'm not mistaken, this was his first movie ever and I can see his potential as an actor. And he was also in the bl drama SOTUS as a supporting character. I haven't seen this drama yet but I'm planning to. 😊 Hope he will have more projects in the future.

I'm hoping a reunion project with the whole casts! Except their parents. I don't want them near to Bank and Golf. 😤

Okay the ending!!!! AH!!!! Okay yeah so I think it’s clear Oliver did not do it, I think the ambiguity lies more whether or not James intentionally killed Richard or if it was an accident. Like, did he see Richard stumbling out in the woods hella intoxicated and think to himself that this was the perfect opportunity to get revenge for all the abuse and torture Richard had been terrorizing him with??? Did he lie to Oliver? Personally, I believe James that it was an accident… of sorts. I don’t think James set out with the intention to kill Richard at all. But Richard was goading him and fighting him and after the buildup of cruelty and tension between them over the past few months, Richard be a homophobic dick and calling James and Oliver qu*er and prodding at the most important relationship in James’ life struck a nerve. So when Richard wanted to keep fighting and hurt him again he was like fuck this and he hit Richard too hard with the hook and that in tandem with Richard being drunk caused Richard to fall and die. And, like the others, James felt awful but there was a sort of sick sense of relief.

(Also, I’m not exactly sure Oliver counts as an Unreliable Narrator. I mean he is certainly keeping some things from that detective guy but, and I was reading something from M.L. Rio about this, like he’s literally just oblivious and dumb as fuck sometimes LKGNLRGLKNRG. So idk how often he’s intentionally Unreliable but I also get what you mean)

Anyways I’m totally a believer that James is alive bc despite enjoying dark stories im like okay but I need a happy ending LGKNLKRGlkenlgneg. Like c’mon they never found the body……….. A metaphorical death and shedding of his past life bc he blames himself for Oliver taking the fall is like the MOST tragic hero Shakespearean shit ever like it just works so well!!!!!! The part where Oliver describes the last time James visited him in jail…

“Oliver I’m begging you,” he said. “I can’t do this anymore.” When I refused again, he pulled my hand across the table, kissed it, and turned to leave. I asked where he was going and he said, “Hell. Del Norte. Nowhere. I don’t know.” (343).

GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd. God. Anyways I think that was very telling of his plans. Hell (for “committing suicide”, moreso for all of his wrong doings). Del Norte is the beach that him and Oliver slept on that one night and so I feel like that place holds a lot of significance for them, but it’s a place only those two know the significance of. So, I like to think he ran away there and started a new life. He wrote that letter with the disjointed Pericles monologue I think to hint to Oliver that he was at Del Norte, if he wanted to find him, because even though his “death” was a self-punishment for ruining Oliver’s life, he still cares for him a lot and doesn’t want to be without him. Like a whole monologue about the sea????????? The fact that he literally said the monologue to Oliver while they were at Del Norte?? “To give my tongue that heat to ask your help; / Which if you shall refuse, when I am dead, / For that I am a man, pray see me buried.” LIKE WHAAAAAAAAAAT god !!!! Also water is gay<3 and in my heart Oliver goes and finds him and they like work through shit and are together.

Anyways I don’t really think he’s with Wren. Their relationship during senior year was always sort of ambiguous to me…. Like they definitely got super close, they probably were romantically involved in some capacity (since other characters like Alexander who is much more perceptive were like Oliver how did it take you this long to notice LRGNRGNK) though idk if it was like the Encompassing Love Affair Oliver thought it to be bc he’s oblivious and jealous. And also like James was very much enamored with Oliver so idk. (EDIT i just remembered they slept together LMAO but i think my point still stands) In the epilogue Wren is in London and is a recluse and doesn’t reach out to any of the Villains which like. Good for her LRGNRLG even though I hated Richard I can’t imagine like how much of a toll that took on her to see her cousin die and all their friends be like uh yeah we should let him die and then have to keep up a lie like… even though she agreed Richard was awful that has to be so heart wrenching (badumtss) and life ruining. So I think she especially wouldn’t want to be with James seeing as he essentially led Richard to fall into the lake, though I’m not sure if she knows that or not.

And Meredith!!!! Like I’ll be real sometimes she frustrates me but I think she’s also SUCH an interesting and realistic character (which is something I love about this novel, all the characters are interesting to me and I like how the female characters are portrayed.... like i LOVE Fillipa she is such a bad ass bitch but again she’s not just like. Expected to always be strong and clever like she’s got feelings too. Anyways love her). As I said before I was perusing through the author’s tumblr a bit and ppl were like “omg why did Meredith go through all the male friends” like BYEEE literally feeding into the stereotypes that made her feel insecure and weak… (Also again, they’ve known each other for four years… so its not that insane lmao). I think Meredith’s relationship with her sexuality and beauty is very interesting and relatable for a lot of women (I mean I am not. Like a seductive femme fatale like she is but LGKNKRGN). On one hand she is definitely a multifaceted person who is more than her sexuality, on the other, she’s constantly Literally Cast by Gwendolyn in sexualized roles and seen as sexualized by her friends/bf (Richard) and constantly told her worth in and out of the theatre is her body. Like there is an interesting duality about the power she possesses with her sexuality but also the extreme insecurity that is bred by being constantly sexualized and this struggle of like knowing she has worth outside of her body but also sort of … not in the eyes of others. That scene where they’re doing those exercises of their strengths and weaknesses really Hit. Anyways yes Meredith love urself queen… get a hot respectful gf… become a powerful successful legend…..

Related-ish sidenote, obviously I like James and Oliver together the most though I will say Meredith and Oliver’s relationship was interesting though ultimately unhealthy…. Like one of the aspects I like about their relationship is Oliver respects Meredith and when he realizes he is falling into that idea that Meredith is this super sexualized person he’s like hold awn that’s shitty of me… But also I think the fact of the matter is that their relationship was catalyzed by shitty stuff,,, like lust and the need for revenge. Like I honestly don’t really think they would’ve gotten together if not for the extreme animosity with Richard and the adrenaline of like that whole show run and more particularly That Night…. It feels like they got together because they were drunk and they’re attractive, which like yeah fine valid, but also, subconsciously, to be like fuck you Richard. Like, guess what I’m with the guy who you’re constantly saying doesn’t matter. And also seeking comfort and validation when their most important people are not valuing them (Richard being literally fucking awful to Meredith, James sort of pushing Oliver away—again I think subconsciously was sort of a revenge jealousy type thing where Oliver is with the person that James doesn’t really like and makes not amazing comments about being promiscuous). And then their relationship I think keeps going because like. Wow grief is a bitch and they want some comfort. Meredith is drawn to Oliver because he’s one of the only people who values her for more than just a sexual object which like is What She Deserves but their relationship is like a mess of sex and guilt and Oliver is in love with James (the parts where Meredith drags Oliver for caring more about James… iconic as she should! Like when Oliver is like sorry James is visiting me I’m not coming or when she’s like are you more jealous of him or me when they kissed for that scene….. OOP!). Anyways idk if that makes sense but I find Oliver and Meredith’s relationship interesting bc it’s not like… the worst unhealthy relationship ever or anything and I think there is genuine care and love/attraction there between them but like Oliver is never going to totally Be What Meredith deserves especially because like… he loves James more. Also the part where Meredith slaps Oliver when he gets out of jail and he’s like yeah I deserve that is so GLKNRglkenrgnrg to me.

I'm so happy to hear the kids abducted to Hong Kong got to hear and see and talk to their hero that saved them today through Zoom in Brian's phone!!!

It was so lucky and such perfect timing that he called me today while the military crews were still resting in China and Wendy was able to pinpoint their locations directly!!

He truly is their Hero and we are so lucky!

I have dreamed about him for years and for years have been waking up from nightmares telling Brian McGruff is a bad dog... But always the dream would be gone when i woke up or it was before it started happening and no one knew

I even had a feeling when I ordered the kits... So I'm not sure how these kids feel through the cracks because they were on my soul to save.

But they were horribly mistreated, starving, mental and physical torture, so much.

So every time it happened or they started their nightmares they added to the list.

Overall 642 companies we dreamed of or felt or somehow had a psychic connection to. I dreamed of kids and old people and women. Some people only dreamed about men. Some just kids.

The companies we have left is 642 to check out as they hadn't had yet done any bad and no dreams or any thing has came up since...

Which isn't happy, we now know, but good news is whatever bad has happened we can fix is super special and magical ways.

So we have Thorn, CIA, Military, some FBI and some others to check what's been going on and see.

So that's about 8 Trillion that have been affected. But at least 6 Trillion have already been retrieved.

So this one single person has done the miraculous. The biggest miracle we have been waiting for on a personal level. For me its been 7 years but 6 since 9 other people started having their dreams affected and the lists began.

So 10 of us with nightmares. Night terrors. Waking up screaming or shaking or scared. And not knowing why but having a name, a company label. Sometimes or often a place on a map... As close to the actual GPS coordinates of longitude and latitude. Wake up listing numbers for no reason. Numbers that make no sense N 316941027865389421. Over and over.

And one person today made the phone call to make thst difference to about 200,000 kids and over 400,000 parents. And siblings and grandparents. Friends.

Just today he changed the world for at least a million whom now have a missing child come home.

Made one million hearts smile and backs release tension and sorrow.

And now we're looking at 2 trillion lost people. Who have kids. Who have parents. Grandparents. Friends.

Were gonna have at least 6 trillion hearts heal then there's soulmates so that's gonna be 12 trillion

Due to one phone call. That was all I needed.

I had heard him say he couldn't find his soulmate... And he didn't go trying to save her or find her today

He knew it was just kids.

But he knew it was missing kids because the people getting ID kits were told not to call the police only call the dog. He could see clearly kids were being abducted and they had a rating system on "easy to kidnap to hard" and the easy were always reported within weeks.

He knew it was his civil duty to call and report it somehow... But he didn't know to who or how.. Who would take it seriously.

And its very careful with software to show no damage to trees or animals will occur.. And the software is very intelligent and cautious and only certain types of people can access it. Like a kidnapper can't turn on the computer and see where and how. But a Clark Kent or Louis Lane or someone can. But if an evil Donald Trump sits down next to, the software will shut down.
