So in tfa, Warframes and Civilframes (civilian) are separate frametype categories essentially. Most Warframes went to the Decepticons (hence why they are all automatically considered "dangerous" whether they are actually Decepticon or not) while the Autobots are made up mostly by civilframes. It seems to be implied that any and all warframe mechs on cybertron after the war and the autobots seized control were reformatted into civilframes (for example, Drift was reformatted and a mech called "powerglide" who doesn't have a flight based altmode despite what his name suggests are referenced in the Allspark Almanac). Basically; (and this isn't exactly completely canon, just what seems to be generally accepted by the fandom)
Warframe: any mech with a weapon or artillery based alt-mode (tank, fighter jet, gun, etc.), or a mech with built in heavy weapons. These mechs are typically larger, stronger, and built with heavier armor than their civilian counterparts.
Civilframe: mechs with commercial vehicle or utility alt-modes (car, truck, microscope, etc.) and do not possess built in weapons. These mechs are the most common and are smaller, faster, and lighter than their warframe counterparts.
There does seem to be an exception though; flightframes are a bit different. Most commercial flightframes are shuttles or large aircrafts which would fit closer with warframe traits despite lacking built in weapons, while military grade flightframes, like Jets and helicopters, are usually smaller and lightweight to make up for speed and agility in flight. But that isn't to say there aren't small, lightweight, commercial flyers or big, heavy weapons, flyers. Due to these discrepancies, the Autobots have deemed that there are to be No Flightframes among their ranks. (With the exception of the Jettwins, but you'll probably get to them later if you haven't already)
That being said, yes, TFP Optimus would absolutely be a warframe by these standards. And while it may not be strictly implicit, there is absolutely a version of functionalism and caste system in post war Autobot society in TFA, albeit, far more subtle and not explicitly referenced as such. Likely even unbeknownst to TFA Team Prime, but TFP Optimus will notice. I think the longer he stays in TFA, the more he'll dislike Autobot (or rather High Council/Senate) controlled Cybertron.
Oh my god thank you so much for explaining this to me, you're awesome!
Yeah TFP Optimus would most DEFINITELY be considered a war frame, and I feel like distrust would be worse given how he keeps his jetpack in this crossover
A flying artillery of weapons, exactly the perfect description of a Decepticon
And while OP wont be aware of the caste system of tfa for all of season one and half of season two because he wouldn't exactly be himself
Once he actually gets a closer look at this world's Cybertron's system of running things around he's gonna take a VERY deep breath
Then start punching the wall
Because WHY can't they leave racism behind in any universe, what is wrong with you people, if youre still gonna implement a caste system even post war then why even have a war in the first place, they're just gonna make history repeat itself and he can see it coming with his own eyes with the events going on around him with Megatron returning and stuff
Bro can't retire in peace
Can't have shit in detroit
(btw if anyone wants to share more tfa facts that im unaware of my inbox is open wide for all of you, ENLIGHTEN ME, i love learning more plus it helps me not to make mistakes in the future)

i hope this hasn't been asked before. what size do you make your canvas? and do you crop it to fit other socials (like Instagram for example)? i hear that 300 dpi is standard. i never know if it's good to make my canvas big or not.
hi i think this ask is like at least 4 months old but i was scanning my sketchbooks from last year and i abruptly remembered i had gotten this ask because i had made a little chart in my sketchbook trying to figure out how to answer it
Tumblr media
anyways theres pros and cons. and the size of your canvas is really going to depend on personal needs + preference. how good ur computer is, how complicated ur art style, how comfortable drawing feels, how much disk space you have to spare, what youre gonna end up using the art for in the end...300dpi is standard for PRINTING specifically, if you only plan to ever post things online then 72dpi works great and will save you space (fun fact a lot of professional animation files i deal with are 72dpi. and those eventually go on your tv screen). but personally i make everything i draw 300dpi because i am always printing stuff for cons, zines, etc and its nice to have the option even if i dont end up printing.
when I was a teen I used to draw on a rly shitty laptop and i made everything 800x800px 300dpi because big canvases would cause a lot of lag and also the resolution on this laptop was pretty small so 800px was a lot of the screen already. now i have a slightly better laptop with a bigger resolution and i sketch on giant 10000px-40000px canvases with the hard round brush and no shape dynamics or transfer whatsoever to minimize lag. when it comes to making a final illustration when i know ill be using a bunch of layer effects/blending modes/colors/mixing brushes etc etc ill generally crop the canvas down to the 6000px range. most illustrations i try to make sure are comfortably printable on tabloid size paper so thats pretty much anything hovering around or above 3000x5000px w 300dpi (so 11x17in). HOPE THIS HELPS?
EDIT: OH ALSO re: socials. i always ALWAYS size down my art to post on the internet. i think its crazy when other artists dont. because why would i ever let the internet have my hi-res file for free. also in general i think it looks better if you do the resizing yourself because if you don't then many social media sites will compress your file for you! a lot of people will post a hi-res file to twitter and then go "Wow twitter killed the quality of this img!!!" UH YEAH because they have an automatic image compressor. because they need to save space too lol and they dont want your image to take 248263895 years to load. same with instagram and to a lesser extent tumblr. when i post anything on social media i resize it down to 1200px-1600px on the longest side... its a little arbitrary but im kind of basing it on the smallest resolution of widely available screens. mostly because i think it looks stupid when u open up an image file fullsize and u have to scroll to see the whole thing... also iirc instagram only takes images up to 1080px before it resizes them? granted if you upload something smaller than that itll also resize it up which will look worse so I think bumping the numbers just over 1080px is pretty safe.
I should really be bringing the dpi down to 72 too when i post online but often im too lazy to do that. but it will technically help ur image load faster and stuff. and make it less likely for people to yoink it off the web and print it themselves.

i am so fucking terrified, i don't know how to get through this waiting
I guess I'm asking if there's any hope left to be had
the wait is so brutal but yes, i firmly believe that there is always hope!! some things i'm trying to keep in mind are:
- the red haze-- early results seem widely red because in-person votes lean republican. those votes are also counted first and faster because they're smaller counties compared to denser ones that lean democrat. make sure you're looking at the % of ballots counted because projected results aren't true results. the race won't start to actually solidify until tomorrow morning.
- keep an eye on your state and local reps! the nitty gritty stuff can be more positive than the national (i live in a pretty rural area but i just happily voted for rep underwood--a younger progressive black woman--a second time).
- just because results come short of what we hoped doesn't mean they represent popular opinion. in florida, marijuana and abortion rights have fallen short even with a 50%+ majority because they require a 60% majority to pass. i know it's incredibly disheartening to not see popular opinions supported by law but i also believe that you have to remember that people, especially people in historically red states, don't necessary tow the stereotypical line. there is room for movement and change.
- there are ballots that currently aren't being counted because they have errors that are CURABLE and CAN be counted if corrected. i already reblogged something about it but if you voted (esp if by mail) please answer unnamed calls because it could be about your ballot. if you go here at vote.com you can also track your ballot.
- there are always, always things for us to do between elections. encourage your friends and family to look forward at the 2026 midterms (they can have huge effects on congress) and start planning, see if there are any campaigns that could use your help moving forward, look into working polling stations in the future (i did it in 2018 and it was a long but fulfilling day), get the fuck outside and moving around. find out where you can volunteer around you- homeless shelters, food banks/kitchens, community events. read some history and some theory-- we aren't actually in completely unprecedented times and it's important to remember where we've progressed from.
- honestly? stop giving batshit crazy people the attention they want. no rage engagement. its what they want. focus on raising awareness without directly interacting with them.
- it fucking sucks ass that its this close and that extremists win. i will never ever say that it doesn't. but it will not be the end. it will be hard but thats when we have to lean on each other. we can't be afraid to ask each other for help and we have to find things to be excited and hopeful for. there is some truth to "other people have it worse so i have to keep going". who are we to give up on the whole?
maybe im just tipsy but i just find so much hope and inspiration in the work so many people put into civil service. people want better than what we have and are fighting for us. i can't let myself get too negative because it doesn't do any good to wallow. just in general i love humanity too much to let the bad win.

hi silver sorry to bother you but have you defeated pressure yet? do you have any advice im struggling ( >Д<;)
I have defeated pressure! last time I beat it was my 6th win; and I was inconsolably mad because I was aiming for a damageless run and then misclicked a single cable at the very end of the game (so finished w 95 health) so, here are my ‘pro’ gamer tips:
Don’t use light sources unless it’s a blacklight. It leaves you both at risk of squiddles attacks, and makes you dependent on light sources in general. I’ve legitimately ONLY been attacked by squiddles when I wanted to get the document on it. Turn your brightness up instead
Pay attention to the sounds more than your sight. Each version of the angler + pandemonium and a60 all have different sounds and gimmicks. It’s important to be able to distinguish which is which. Here’s my guide for the monsters:
Anglers/rush-based monsters
Regular angler: regular scream, regular rush time. pretty basic stuff. Wait until you hear its actual high pitched scream before getting in a locker.
Pinkie (pink. duh): doesn’t flick the lights, but scream is a higher pitch and can be heard from much further away. try not to panic, but it’s important to keep an ear out always.
Blitz (black): extremely fast, but the lights flicker twice. Beeline to the nearest locker and get in pretty much as soon as you reach it.
Chainsmoker (green one): very, very slow, and sounds a little like a single-toned scream with rattling chains. You have to wait until it’s practically on top of you to get into a locker bc it forces you out of the locker much faster than usual.
Froger (orange): angry kinda scream. Like william afton it comes back. Upon the first rush, wait until it doubles back, then get out of the locker but stay next to it. It will come back again. Get back in the locker. After that it should be gone.
Pandemonium: it kinda ‘sings’ ig, it’s not a regular scream. Slower than most of the angler variants but not quite as slow as chainsmoker. If you struggle with its minigame, side rooms, vents under the floor, or making your window smaller are your new best friend. These work for the other anglers too, of course.
A-60: kinda has this faint ‘pixely’ scream, very easy to miss. Get to a locker or side room. When its message appears you’ve got like, 4 seconds? To get out of sight. It’s probably the hardest to see coming which is why it’s the rarest.
Other monsters
Void mass: also pretty easy. Makes a bubbling sound when you’re nearby, has a puddle underneath it, and also, the obvious glowing eyes. When you approach a locker, look up through the slots to check if it’s empty. I recommend multiplayer bc someone can still get you out.
Wall dwellers: controversial opinion but they’re also pretty easy. If you do struggle with them you can turn around midway through each room, but they have audible squelchy footsteps and you can hear them peeling out of the wall as well. If you’re really paying attention you can even see them in the walls while you’re passing through, they have these weird stretch marks to outline them. Theres this one room especially with that weird green and black mould that you can see a fantastic example of. Also benefits with multiplayer bc there’s more eyes to scare it off. Same with squiddles, I’ve only died to them when I wanted the documents.
Eyefestation: often in an eyefestation room there’s a short period where you can see a little flash of it, or the door locking behind you if it’s a gauntlet. Run as far as you can in that window. Other than that just beeline for the door the best you can.
Good people: there’s the sparks, of course, but press your ear to the wall next to it and listen for growling. If you hear water or some other ambiance like the fans, it means it’s safe, however, so not all noise is bad. In a dark room or after an angler, the real door’s lights will also be out while the fakes remain lit up.
Turrets: “If you see me, no u didn’t :<“ wait to check their patterns before anything else. Hide where you can of course, and try to follow its sweep where you can. And flip the lever to disable them if you can, of course. Even if pai insults you, better to be berated by your worstie than to be dead.
Searchlights: do not rush it. In the warehouse, follow after it to give you more time. You can hide underneath piles of boxes, the forklifts and in shipping containers (as well as the lockers). In the final searchlights encounter, go for the most risky cables FIRST and the underground ones LAST. Go underground as few times as possible, as it makes it more dangerous by cutting off a lot of your view. Trying to go for the one right in the middle with three of them right on top of you is rough. This usually saves you with the remaining cables being in safer places the further you go to cancel out the difficulty as best as possible. In the final manoeuvre, do NOT hide in the submarine as it makes it even riskier by cutting off your peripheral. Watch the light patterns and then go for it. Wait in the middle underneath it bc it only kills you if you go in the actual light. Always works for me. Another controversial opinion but the warehouse is harder than the final fight.
Sebastian: don’t flashbang or climb on him. it’s rude. Also, make sure he’s happy when you leave. I don’t think there’s any real change but I find its bad luck to leave when he’s pissed at you. Buy his medkit and code breaker if you can.
Other dangers
The Ridge: there’ll be an angler or pandemonium in almost every room. Open the door to the next room and then wait by a locker in the previous one until the threat has passed. Do not panic, and BE PATIENT. Sometimes it takes a while when it passes through. Also, any good people will have light spilling out from under the door. With the music, wait for the angler to leave and then kinda just avoid it or speed through it as best you can. If you’ve got code breakers, save them for either the ridge (or paranoia’s box if you manage to come across it.) As long as you stay careful and make sure you know where the lockers are, it’s not as daunting as it may seem.
Parasites: just stay in the light, you’ll be fine. It’s pretty forgiving
Hazards: just avoid them. Don’t jump in holes you can’t see the bottom of. Dont walk into the fire. Don’t swim in lava. Don’t touch the electrified water, there’s a way to disable it/go around it. Wait for the right time between the fans. Ask @revenyance bc they’re an expert on how not to do that last part.
The pipe puzzle: try to go from the end rather than just the start.
Vent/pipe maze: always take a left turn and eventually you’ll find your way out.
major, all-round tip summary:
-keep sound high and preferably play with headphones. Turn on deaf mode if you have hearing issues.
-fuck light sources, I hate those guys. Go max brightness instead.
-try try and try again. You’re never a bad gamer so long as you’re having fun and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise :>
-try to keep at least two code breakers with you until the end for paranoia’s box or the ridge
-if you’re still learning the ropes, play multiplayer or with your friends! If you die first it’s still good experience seeing them and getting practice for further rooms. Also helps with some of the monsters in general.
Hope all of this is helpful! (Sorry that its a bit wordy) 6.:}

diana, this might sound like a weird question, but how do you draw boobs/gock/vaginas and anatomy in general? i wanna improve my art and you seem to have a lot of experience with it
-alice in anon because im embarrassed lol
hmm good question! im gonna be honest i don't really use references most the time, and i recommend you absolutely use references very often when drawing something you're not the most confident in.
for anatomy, it sorta comes down to me focusing on how other artists draw specific parts of anatomy and getting a good feel of how they generally look enough to know what looks wrong in my own attempt so i can continue adjusting it. it's a shitty bruteforce method but for me i sorta just osmosis it from exposure. in general i have a decently trained eye in 3d space on account of my 3D modeling experience, so coming up with shapes at particular angles is a little less of a headache i imagine some others would deal with at my skill level. i still struggle with posing which is something i really gotta practice more. i know it'd be faster if i used references for practice but my art process is a bit too casual out of stubborness... but i will do what i can to improve my workflow at some point!
regarding stuff like sexual anatomy or what have you, i actually pull up a few different artist's works, specifically those who draw shapes i find most appealing, and apply their concepts to my own attempt. it's sorta hit or miss atm, i'm still very new to drawing sexual anatomy. at the very least, i try and draw bodies as they are. what i mean is, a chubbier body is going to have more pockets of fat pulling some parts down, and comparing with my own body and those whom i've been with, i just try and capture the practical "flaws" and do my best not to polish them out of the equation. sunken eyes, messy hair, folds of skin, muscle definition, wrinkles, hair, etc it's all very pretty and more than anything i want to appreciate those bodies.
use references, look at your own body and try and plan out angles and poses before you get too deep into the drawing! my biggest flaw at the moment is lack of forethought going into a piece which can make a lot of my art much more stiff because an idea i wanted occurs halfway through the drawing and retroactively adjusting things is just not gonna work and it'll look stilted. come up with your idea and sketch a very simple example so you know what you're aiming for the entire time instead of me who habitually draws heads and facial features long before deciding how i want the rest of the body, usually locking me into the same perspective and angle as always lol. i have been fixing this most of the time now and i hope that is more apparent in some of my recent works.
sorta just rambling, but yeah! the most simple way for me to tl;dr this is that i recommend using irl examples for references for poses or how particular pieces of the body are structured in 3D space, and looking at other's art for ideas or inspiration, reverse engineer their process and practice it until you feel satisfied it makes sense in the context of your drawing. take special attention of smaller details of the body and don't be afraid of making something look "unappealing" if you want to portray a specific feature. you might not draw something the way that looks good to you, but the most important thing is learning what it is that does look good in your opinion, and reviewing what you could do to help draw more like that.
i'm really sorry if this is far too convoluted and not great advice, i'm the literal embodiment of "fake it till you make it" and any skill i've learned is simply because i am stubborn and bruteforcing it till i accomplished whatever it is that i wanted. for someone who is more interested in learning and improving the "right way", i tried to offer some more rational strategies to what i do in hopes that it makes sense in helping better lol. hope this helps!

Advice from a GM that just Started Pro-GMing
You'll see my thread on my experiences here.
But this thread is more of a bullet point general advice or things to expect. Will update as I think of things so definitely keep an eye on it and return to the original post regularly if you want to see (or ya know follow me xD)
Between September and November I had familiarized myself with Startplaying, tried some things that didn't work, adjusted my prices and eventually had my first paid campaign underway at $12/Person, about $60/3 hour session.
Between November and January I recruited for my second campaign at $14/Person and got my minimum player count so a session is coming up on Wednesday the 4th. Fill this group up will eventually bring me into about $80 a game for a 3 hour session.
My next campaign I'll be aiming for $16/person.
NOW ONTO THE ADVICE
I am running the same campaign for different groups, this provides me a variety of benefits:
This campaign is one im already running for my personal group, which means any prepwork, is prepwork i'd be doing already. This is definately important at a "starting salary" for a new Pro-GM.
It allows you to practice, familiarize yourself with and getting focused feedback. Everytime you run it, you'll be running a better product.
Warning: For many people this may lead to burnout or getting bored with your campaigns.
What to Run?
I'd love to run indie games and smaller stuff, but tbh the pickins are slim there, especially with how the website is formatted, you will really need someone searching for your games in order to find them.
Your best options are D&D5E and PF2E, though I imagine WoD and other mid-tier games have some possibility too, the Big Two are your best bets for getting regular traffic outside your own bubble.
Campaigns or One-Shots? Campaigns!
Campaigns tend to be more popular than one-shots, and luckily for you, new Pro-GM, they are obviously more consistent.
A Campaign takes, in my experience, a couple weeks to get filled up, people will get impatient or find other opportunities and they'll come and go, but on average I probably get about a person a week, once you have 3 or so, they can and often start to come in much faster.
To prevent issues in regularity, make it clear up front in the description that you are not looking for a "drop-in" campaign, and you are aiming for people that at the very least intend to stay when joining.
Organization and Tools
look around at other startplaying games to see how they set up their templates and adventure pages.
I'd suggest setting up a discord or guilded server and set up campaign specific roles, so that only people in those campaigns can see the role-related channels. this also allows you to tag everyone in the game for reminders of game start and the like.
Foundry VTT is absolutely fantastic for some games, not as a fantastic as others, if you are running PF2E I strongly suggest familairizing yourself with Foundry because quite frankly its an AMAZING VTT experience.
Feel free to ask questions i'll answer as best as I can!

Frank's image generating model makes a 128x128 pixels image. How does computational cost for training and generating scale with image size? Are 512x512 pixels images feasible for, say, someone with enough resources to train GPT-3 from scratch? Are the results any good?
1.
The scaling isn't that bad, nothing like GPT-2 vs. GPT-3.
IME, doing 256x256 is something like 2-4 times slower than 128x128. More importantly, you don't need to make the model bigger (or much bigger anyway), which means memory costs don't scale up much.
Memory costs are fundamentally more of blocker than time cost.
If it takes time T to train a great model, training for time T/2 or T/4 will generally give you an okay-to-good model. So if training slows down by 2x or 4x, that's basically fine.
Whereas if memory cost increases by 2x or 4x, that may mean your model can no longer fit on a single device. And then once you're spreading it across multiple devices, that introduces all kinds of complications w/r/t further memory scaling, there are different techniques for doing it with pros/cons, eventually the bottleneck is no longer device speed but bandwidth between devices, etc.
2.
You say Frank's model makes 128x128 images, and in a sense that's correct, but in another sense it isn't.
Frank produces 256x256 images. This involves two models, one that generates at 128x128, and one that scales up images to 256x256.
You could look at this and say, "well, the 'generation' part is only 'happening' at 128x128, the other part is 'upsampling' not 'generation'."
But, you can also look at the whole thing as one model that generates at 256x256, just written down in a weird notation.
And in fact, this appears to be a better way to do a large-resolution images, vs. naively "training a model" at the target resolution. See e.g. cascaded diffusion, or any of OpenAI's work on the topic.
OpenAI's GLIDE generates at 64x64 and then upsamples to 256x256, which is pretty typical. The weird part about my 128 -> 256 stack is that the 128 part is so large. (I do this to help text be legible.)
3.
OpenAI did a range of target resolution in its diffusion papers, from 64x64 to 512x512.
Most research work focuses on smaller resolutions, for multiple reasons.
It's faster to iterate there, and the ideas generalize to large resolutions.
But also, large images are sort of boring!
Most of the relevant structure in web images is present even if you downscale them to 128x128. Once you're considering the jump from 256x256 to 512x512, you're mostly talking about relatively obvious stuff -- filling in textures, making edges crisp.
So, if you don't see people generating giant images with NNs, it's mostly because it takes longer to do (both training and inference) and the end result is not any more interesting.

Horse info 101
A horse girl’s guide to the basics for fic writing with an important and lively horse involved:
This got kinda long I’m kinda sorry but not at all lol
There's three basic gaits (speeds with different patterns of hoof-fall/leg movements
Walking is the slowest and is a four beat gait, meaning each foot hits the ground at a different time. Usually the same pace as a walking human when the horse is calm. Some breeds can walk HELLA fast though. Most horses will fill the same spot/hole where their front hoof was with their back hoof on the same side. If they overstep they clip their fetlock (joint lookin bit above the hoof) or pastern (bit between the hoof and fetlock) and can injure themselves.
Tumblr media
Now trotting. The middle gait, a person can jog next to a trot at a comfortable pace but if you push them a little horses can trot faster than your average HS track endurance athlete. Once again some breeds can trot HELLA fast. This is a two beat gait in that two diagonally opposite legs are moving in unison. In some english saddles (I’ll get into that later if we have class time) it’s easier to post while the horse is trotting rather than sit for the gait. That just means you stand up in the irons (stirrups on an english saddle, we’ll also cover that later) at the same time that one of the front legs moves forward.
Also, see how the trotting horse’s head looks? That’s how they travel when they’re relaxed and attentive. The tucked head thing you see Roach doing is because there’s tension on the reigns and Henry learned to ride for an english seat not a western pleasure seat (might get into those but they’re really not important)
Tumblr media
Time for the Canter/Lope. This is a three beat gait so that means two legs are moving in unison and the other two are not. Horses canter/lope fast. This is the go-time gait. Some performance/dressage horses are trained to canter extremely slow but if we’re talking transportation trained horses they’re not gonna be that kind of slow. Your average human is not gonna be able to keep up with this for long if at all. This varies in speed too. There's a rather casual canter seen in the gif directly below, then below that is the balls to the wall canter/lope that most horse people just refer to as a run. That’s as fast as they can go.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Basic tack names
Halter + Lead/Lead Rope - these can be made of rope, leather, nylon (more modern) but the halter is generally used for leading and tying.
Bridle - this is the one that you use while you ride, it holds the bit in their mouth. There’s millions of different types of bridles but they’re usually made out of leather even now. sometimes you get rope/nylon ones but I don’t trust them.
Reins - connect to the bit and you use them to steer and control speed. Horses trained in western or one handed riding will ‘neck rein’ which means if you move your hand to the right and the left rein brushes their neck they will move to the right.
Bit - the metal piece in the horses mouth. most english riding bits are broken (joint in the middle) and most western ones are solid. there’s a gap behind the horse’s front teeth and that’s where the metal sits. Some horses have smaller mouths than others and do better with solid bits because the ‘broken’ ones will hit the top of their mouth and hurt. There’s also things called ‘shanks’ on some bits which are just longer pieces of metal that attach to the sides of the pieces in their mouth and point downward. This gives the rider more leverage and makes any tug on the reins stronger. (google “Horse bit shank” if this doesn’t make sense)
Saddle - you sit in it. simple right? wrong. There’s two main types of saddles, Western - with the horn like you see in the running gif, and English- the loping gif without the horn. The saddles used in the Witcher look like the pre-english saddle versions but the basic parts you need to know are the same. The part where you ass goes? that’s the seat. the part right in front of your crotch? That’s the pomel. that’s your ‘oh shit handle’ if anything goes screwy (other than the mane). The part that sticks up and keeps your ass in place? That’s the cantle. I like western saddles SO MUCH MORE but i also grew up mainly riding western so im biased.
Stirrups/Irons - stirrups and irons are where your feet go. In western saddles they’re called stirrups and they’ve got wider decorative leather flaps (called fenders, also originally added to protect trousers/legs from the horse sweat and the buckles of the cinch) and on english saddles they’re called irons because they are usually made of iron and rather slim. Geralt’s irons look pretty similar to modern ones, slim leather straps, minimal iron (or steel or any other strong metal really). Traditional english riders have knee high boots like you see in regency costumes which removes the need for the fenders like on western saddles.
Cinch/girth - this is what keeps the saddles on. You take a strap and attach it to one side of the saddle, run it under the belly right behind their front legs and attach it to the other side. Its usually made of a strong fabric with wool or some kind of softer lining for western riding. English riding uses a leather one most of the time though this horse girl hates them because they’re harder to cinch up. English saddles use buckles while Western saddles use another leather strap to run through the chinch/girth buckle and you either tie it off or use it like a belt.
Chest strap - this keeps the saddle from sliding backwards. It’s attached to both sides of the saddle by buckles and between the front legs its attached to the cinch/girth. this is pretty universal but not always used. Geralt uses one though.
Saddle pad - goes under the saddle to protect the baby’s back and whithers (spot where the neck meets the back and the mane ends)
Tacking up and untacking takes time. This is usually 5-10 minutes when done at a leisure pace and done right.
Basic grooming
Brush down before tacking up - you don’t want stuff chaffing the pony while you ride
brush after untacking- helps clear skin of irritants and feels nice
Shedding scraper/curry comb to get rid of shedding hair - if you want a pic of these just google them I think I’m close to the pic limit for my post.
HOOF PICK - keep the baby's feet clean and clear if rocks so they don't bruise but also so nothing get infected
Yes, plz brush their mane it gets MATTED - a hairbrush works but a wide tooth comb is best
Horses roll to itch their backs and clean off, sounds counterintuitive with the dirt but it works
Shaving a little spot for the bridle to sit is pretty modern but it's easier for everyone involved
Horse Colors- guys roach is not brown she’s a chestnut color
Tumblr media
The only thing I have to add to this is that the “Leopard” one is called “appaloosa” in the US at least, and “Pinto” is also reffered to as “Paint” and there’s all sorts of different patterns that you can see. also i want a buckskin so bad. yes i was obsessed with Spirit as a child why do you ask?
Travel care of your babies
Horses CAN and have subsisted off roadside grasses and grazing at night BUT it's good for them to get a lil something extra ESPECIALLY if you’re keeping them in a stall at night where they can’t graze.
Hay and grains like cracked wheat, oats, barley and the like are commonly found in horse feed. Also a lil drizzle of molasses is chock full of calories and all my horses LOVE the taste.
also while we’re talking food: some horses cant keep all the juice/bits in their mouth when they eat apples (we fondly call it making applesauce) or other treats/veg. Yes it gets all over your hand, yeah its kinda gross, but there’s worse things.
Shoes. Babe's need horse shoes. Especially if they're walking over rocks and roads.
Throwing a shoe (when it comes off on accident) is painful sometimes and if left un-dealt with can affect their joints and spine. Imagine walking around in one heeled shoe and one athletic shoe all day. Ow.
On that note though, on lighter travel seasons it's nice to give their hooves a break from shoes (also cheaper)
Horse moods:
horse mood ear chart here: I cant add much tbh
Tumblr media
If a horse is comfortable/happy/relaxed they will ‘chew’ on nothing. Just kina a little lip smack type deal. My horse’s bottom lip would hang a couple centimeters below his top one when he was relaxed and I would put my chapstick in it while I fussed with other things.
When a horse is uncomfrotable/scared/tense their lips get sealed tight. I call it ‘fish butt lips’ bc they’re watertight and NOTHING is getting in there.
Stamping hooves can be a few things. Antsy and ready to roll, nervous, deadass scared, or playful/excited.
A full whinny is communication - saying hi, warning, scared, etc.
the really soft whinny is called a nicker and its my favorite sound okay? that’s little soft communication and its usually reserved for times when they’re comfortable.
When they’re really relaxed they’ll cock one of their back legs kinda how we shift our weight to one hip.
general fun facts:
Some horses fake limp when they don’t want to work bc they are lazy and smart and realize their person will get off and check them out and maybe even give them a rest.
You do a preliminary leg injury test by running your hands slowly over their legs and checking for hot spots - inflammation caused by injury is warm
Basic horse saftey is never stand directly in front of the horse if theres a possibility of spooking, if you’re gonna walk behind them walk out of reach of their hooves or right up against that ass. If they cant get a good wind up it wont do as much damage (on that note though I rode/trained horses for 18 years and was only kicked once by a foal).
It’s kinda common sense not to walk/sidestep between your horses legs and under their belly but we do it all the time bc its a trust thing? adrenaline? its fun?
laying on your horse’s back sans saddle, and facing their butt is so nice okay, that ass is soft and cushy and perfect for a nap. I miss laying on my horses while they ate like this every damn day.
Horses can sense your moods. Not unlike the whole ‘witchers smelling you’ thing. They can feel a difference in the tension on the reins and in your posture when you’re tense or relaxed.
Some horses will take care of their riders, some are absolute shits and push the limits for funsies. Some horses will only behave for people they’re used to too. Some horses have trauma from being mistreated and will have triggers kinda like people do. We had a horse who would freak the fuck out if anyone walked around with a red had but as soon as you took it off she was the most level headed horse we had.
A good portion of horses (Who aren’t scared of children) will behave better with kiddos or novice riders because they feel they’re nervous.
If they hurt while they’re moving they usually limp but sometimes they’ll buck. It’s their defense mechanism.
Horses can’t sleep for too long laying down because their body weight will collapse their lungs. Most horses sleep standing up.
They can sit like a dog and it’s hella cute.
Stung by bees? Most horses will take off at a dead sprint bucking and hopping unless you’ve done a lot of trust work/training with them
They also run and jump and buck and rear to play.
If theres two horses in a pasture together one will chew at the other’s whithers (or anywhere else) to ask them to scratch them the same way. its very cute and they sometimes try this with people.
horses hug. I cry.
the whole deal with the rider/horse relationship is it’s a mutual trust you’re building. They let you sit on their back and do weird shit and you trust them not to throw you.
Thank you for coming to class today! If there’s any questions feel free to message me! I’m not kidding I wanna answer your questions and I miss my horses so this is fun for me.

first day of mh rise thoughts:
genuinely surprised at how well this game runs. i wasnt convinced it would be as steady as it is, the RE engine is pretty impressive. it would've been fantastic to have had the switch pro come out before rise's release tho. maybe it will have forward compatibility, we'll see
the maps are much smaller than the ones in world (which probably helps with the performance) and i think it still works just as fine. As for right now, i cant really decide if any of them are particularly ICONIC like some other maps are. Obviously the temple ruins from the demo are pretty decent, but so far the snow area and desert area have not COMPLETELY hooked me, but this might change in time as i discover and work them more
movement is soo much fun in this game. chaining movement with wirebugs is very fun in a similar vein to how cappy was in mario odyssey, it took a little bit of learning but its mostly intuitive and feels great and very flashy to pull off; just getting around it is a fantastic way to move, and honestly i probably use it more than the palamute, just because getting over terrain thats tall is typically faster than going around the mountains, tho it depends on terrain type. Maps are pretty vertical in this one to reflect the movement changes but there are places where the palamute feels better
in combat the wirebugs are ALSO very fun, i tried out a bunch of the weapons in the demo and most of the weapons had very fun (albeit not very effective) silkbind moves that really switches combat up and (typically) encourages a lot of movement around the monsters, and in exchange, the monsters move around a lot too; mostly newer ones, but older monsters seem to be more mobile as well
the wirefall recovery seems. REALLY good, and im not gonna lie, might be too good. It does put your wirebug (one wirebug for each wirefall) on a (seemingly) longer cool down than silkbind moves and general movement, but it still feels like a big get out of jail free card. not such a bad thing of course. im all for more accessibility in the monster hunter series
the difficulty does seem to be toned down quite a bit too, though im still in village 3, but one of my friends already rushed to the end and got to credits (without changing his armor once) so im wondering how much easier it might be compared to older games. again, not a problem, but it would be nice to have some optional late game stuff be more difficult, and i think we'll probably see that through content updates
rampage mode is silly but fun. i never expected mh to have a tower defense mode but here we are. seems like it will be a lot of fun in multi-player mode if theres more difficulty and variety in it. i like that the system from world of adding small boosts to weapons have been moved to this mode's material drops which i definitely feel is more intuitive than the streamstones(?) from world that you had to farm from tempered elder dragons and it was booooring.. i think i will actually enjoy doing rampage mode
theres a lot of good quality of life stuff that carried over from world and some new stuff as well, though the buttons have been switched around i think. SOME thing is messing with my muscle memory here
most of all im SO glad that interesting looking weapon designs are back. i was so afraid they were only showing good designs in all the promos but it seems like every weapon that has a monster LOOKS like it was made of that monster, instead of just slapping some hide on the iron weapon and calling it a day

ooooh skin stuff?? what products do you use / what's your routine? im super nosy and fascinated about this stuff lol
oof, sorry this took so long to answer, i ended up writing a whole damn novel… my b. Anyway i buy my skin care pretty much exclusively from yesstyle (minus a few exceptions, but i’m always open to new suggestions! i am gonna take a look at jolse soon) so i’ll just link the products from there. Also i have a little dinky code for like 2-5% off if you wanna save like… $1 it’s 5NAYTT
Disclaimers before i start though, I have normal skin (i know i’m so lucky uwu) so i generally don’t stress about whether my products work better or worse for dry/oily skin—but i do tend to favor more hydrating/moisturizing products. Also i’m no esthetician or dermatologist, most of my knowledge comes from product reviews, skin care videos, and my own personal experiences. So basically take everything I say and share with a grain of salt :))
We’ll start out easy with my morning routine:
1.)  Mostly i start by wetting my face with warm water. you can also wet it in the shower if you’re a morning shower-er(?) but i’m not lol. IF my skin is feeling really dirty in the morning for some reason though (like if i sweat real bad on a summer night or drown in a pool of drool x-x) i’ll start with the Perfect Whip foaming cleanser
i find that most mornings, bc of my more extensive night routine, my face isn’t often in need of a cleanser
but i really like this bc you get SO MUCH use out of so little product; i use less than a dime-size amount per wash. but i do use this little foam maker thingy which builds up a better and faster foam than using my hands—not necessary but very convenient. there’s also foaming nets you can try, but i’m not familiar with them.
i don’t completely dry my face after use; i like it damp when i apply the toner
2.)  Apply Klairs Supple Preparation Toner
i personally use the original version as i don’t mind essential oil scents, and my skin doesn’t react negatively to them. If oils bother you for whatever reason though, you might want to try the unscented version!
i also pour this into a spray bottle (you can pick these up pretty much anywhere but these are cute if you wanna order some) and apply via spray. No reason other than I just don’t want to buy cotton pads :)
3.)  Apply Snail Repairing Essence
i use this pretty much as a moisturizer but you might want to use an additional cream or something if your skin is on the drier side?
4.)  Apply SPF
okay so… i don’t actually have a rec for this bc i just use whatever my mom has.  and i haven’t actually gotten a korean sunscreen yet bc i don’t go outside and i’m that person (who is v dumb) and doesn’t apply spf consistently in the winter -.- but rest assured, i’ll get some eventually lololol
Okay like i said, pretty easy in the morning! I don’t use essences, just bc i’m still young and a lot of them seem to be focused on anti-aging things that aren’t my main concern. And I prefer to use my serum at night bc it’s got vitamin C and i just told you i’m bad at sunscreen
But night time is where it gets complicated fun:
1.)  Hop in the shower (but if you’re not a nighttime shower-er then you can just cleanse out of the shower) and go in with the Clean It Zero cleansing balm (this also has other versions: purifying, revitalizing, and nourishing but i’ve only ever used the original)
i usually do double cleansing at night, so this is my oil-based “first cleanser”
but i have been known to um… “gloss over” this step if i’m being lazy….. -.-
i like oil-based cleansers bc they’re a nice, gentle way to remove makeup (as opposed to wipes and stuff) and i do use this to remove eye makeup as it personally doesn’t irritate my eyes; i also prefer balms over straight up oils bc they’re more fun ^-^
anyway, i massage it on, emulsify, and rinse! also, if you’re not in the shower, i would keep my face damp after rinsing.
2.)  Perfect Whip foaming cleanser while still in the shower
pro-tip, if you have a foam maker, i would make the foam BEFORE you start. that way you can just apply it right after the balm!
again, i keep my face damp after rinsing off the foam and hopping out of the shower
3.)  Klairs Supple Preparation Toner returns!
again, i have mine in a spray bottle so i spray it on and tap it in!
4.)  IF IT’S SUNDAY, then i will go in with the Lemon Sparkling Peeling Gel next
this is a chemical exfoliator (i finally ditched my knock-off st. ives XD) and i only use it once a week
5.) IF IT’S SUNDAY, and i have one available, i’ll put on a sheet mask next
sheet masks are… honestly all the same to me lol but i order these innisfree ones all the time; my regulars being green tea, tea tree, and aloe (they’re actually cheaper on their website tho so…).  i also really wanna try the A’PIEU Milk Packs particularly in banana and strawberry, so i’ll probs order and try those out when i can justify spending the money on a whole bunch (knowing me i’ll turn it into a whole $40+ order lol)
i leave these on for 15-20 minutes (usually 20), take it off, and pat the remaining product into my skin
also there’s usually some left over on the other side of the mask and/or in the package that i’ll massage onto my neck and body (we try not to do not waste product in this house!!)
if i’ve done a mask, then i will most likely skip this next step
6.)  Apply Klairs Vitamin C Drop
this is pretty much my daily serum as it helps with improving my dark spots and hyper pigmentation (my main skin concern)
i take 3-5 DROPS in my hand… that’s it, i literally wasted so much before i finally decided to stop dropping it onto my face.
apply and pat that bad boy all over!!
7.)  Snail Repairing Essence  returns!
again this is my probably-not-supposed-to-be-but-idfc moisturizer so i just slap it on!
8.)  Almost done, here’s the Snail Repair Eye Cream
this is actually new, but i bought a smaller tube bc 1. i didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on something that might irritate my eyes. and 2. i didn’t. want. to spend. a bunch. of money. but the little nozzle is actually really helpful for getting a small, good amount of cream actually XD
so i’ll squeeze a little line (more like an oblong dot tho) under each eye and use my ring fingers to glide that up to the lid and pat in the product.
9.)  Last one! Berry Lip Mask
basically…. i even buy korean knock-offs lololol
i just apply this to my bottom lip (my top lip never causes me issues??) and let it sit over night
Anddddd that’s everything! Very nearly got to that 10 step dream but, no essence, no clout i guess. Anyway, i do have some additional pro-tips too:
If you’re buying/trying new skin care products, be patient and introduce them slowly. it’s hard, but this way—if one or more products are causing a reaction—it’s easy to just cut it out of the routine. Also i like to think it gives your skin time to become used to the new ingredients and to “normalize” before piling on new stuff (but that could be total bs lol)
“Listen” to your skin; use products that make YOUR skin feel good, and use products when YOU need them. especially with serums and stuff, invest in products that will help you to address your skin concerns and achieve your skin goals (whatever those may be at the time)—and not someone else’s. Also don’t be afraid to admit if a product’s not working, better to chuck it than ruin your skin you know?
From someone who’s experienced a very unpleasant, burning unibrow :))) don’t remove hair on exfoliation day and avoid putting a lot of product on sensitive areas. Also, doing some sort of cleanse before hair removal helps to reduce the risk of dirt and stuff getting into the exposed skin.
Oh and be gentle with your exfoliators (whether physical or chemical) DON’T SCRUB FOR THE LOVE OF PETE to avoid cuts and burns!
If you have a spot (or feel one coming up) , use some sort of spot treatment. you’re much less likely to pick with something if it’s covered up by a patch (these are my faves) which will reduce irritation and formation of dark spots.
Be as hygienic as possible! There’s no towel drying steps in my routine for two main reasons. 1, i like keeping the moisture and hydration from the water as long as possible. and 2, bacteria. is. everywhere. Towels are pretty gross when you think about it and limiting contact between them and your face will probably greatly improve your skin’s health. Also avoid touching nozzle or dropper applicators directly to your hands or face: that way the applicator won’t come in contact with any bacteria or germs and transfer that gunk onto your face every time you use it. Washing your hands and/or tools that DO touch your face is also important in, again, reducing the spread of random gunk.
Take it slow, relax, and enjoy it! Skin time is my relaxation time (especially sunday nights oml so awesome!!), it’s honestly one of the best parts of my day just being able to kick back and take care of myself. Try not to make it a chore, it isn’t supposed to feel regimented or overwhelming, but relaxing and fun!
Okay that’s really it!! And yeah this got really really long….. sorry if you actually only wanted my yesstyle recs XD

Spy AU - Toxin, pt. 1.5
Randomly, last night, I sat down and wrote this.  It takes place shortly after the first thing I wrote with the toxin.  After getting targeted by an enemy while on a mission, Ford is attacked with a toxin that reverts him to being a three-year-old.  In this ficlet, Stan and Angie are taking Ford to find clothes that will fit him and don’t belong to his nieces.  It...doesn’t go as well as any of them would like, but at least Ford gets ice cream before they head home.
Ford stopped in the middle of the aisle.  While he caught his breath, he looked around at the shelves, covered with various brands of chips and snacks.  The song playing over the store intercom changed from country to pop.  He was staring blankly at a bag of corn chips when Stan rushed back to him.
“Geez, Sixer, don’t scare me like that,” Stan said, putting a hand on Ford’s shoulder.  “We thought you got kidnapped or something.”  Stan followed Ford’s gaze.  “…Do you want chips?  Is that why you stopped following us?”
              “Not really,” Ford mumbled.
“Okay.  Why did you do that, then?”
“I don’t wanna say.”  Ford ducked his head.
              “C’mon.”
“…My legs got tired,” Ford said reluctantly.  “I was- I was just taking a short break, that’s- that’s all.”  His already small voice got smaller and smaller as his sentence went on.
“Oh.”  Stan rubbed the back of his neck.  Ford frowned at him.  He clearly had something to say.
              “What?”
              “Nothin’.”
“Stanley.”  Ford crossed his arms in a gesture more mature than one would normally see in someone his apparent age.  “You’re holding back.  You’ve got a suggestion or comment or something.  Spit it out.”
“Fine.  There’s a really easy solution to your problem.  Two, actually.”
“Is one of them finding somewhere to sit for a little while?” Ford asked. Stan shook his head.  Dread began to build in Ford’s chest.  “I’m not going to like it, am I?”
“No.  No, you aren’t.”  Stan sighed. “Look, you’ve got tiny legs now. Just a fact.  You take a lot more steps than I do to go the same distance.”
              “…I know this.”
“Yeah, but I’m reminding you, so that…maybe my suggestions don’t upset you as much.”  Stan stuffed his hands in his pockets.  “The way I see it, you’ve got two options, like I said.  Option one is you riding in the cart.”
“In the baby seat?  No!  I explicitly said I wouldn’t do that, back at the house.”
“Option two,” Stan continued, “is having me or Angie carry you.”  Ford’s jaw dropped open.  “You can’t keep up with us, Sixer.  You know that.  So if we wanna finish shopping and head back home quickly, you have to choose one of those options.  Your suggestion – taking a break – would take a long time.  ‘Cause it wouldn’t be just one break.  It’d be a lot.  We haven’t even been here a full twenty minutes and you’re already too tired to keep walking.”  Stan smiled sheepishly at Ford.  “It sucks, but them’s the breaks.”
“I- I can’t do either of those,” Ford whispered.  “You- you can’t make me choose!”  Stan sighed and crouched down to Ford’s eye-height.
“Either you choose, or I do,” he said firmly.  “I don’t like it, either.  But sometimes you don’t have any good options.”  Ford looked down at his feet.
“I- I don’t wanna choose,” Ford whispered.  Stan sighed again.
              “Carrying you, it is.”
“No!  I won’t do it!” Ford protested, stomping his foot instinctively.  He froze, the immaturity of his action crashing over him. Stan scowled and scooped Ford up in his arms, then stood to his full height again.
“Don’t talk to me like that,” he scolded.  Ford swallowed nervously.
“S-sorry, I didn’t-” he squeaked out.  Stan groaned.
“Shit, no, Ford.  I’m- I was the one who fucked up there.  I’ve heard that sorta stuff from my daughters a million times, and I slipped into ‘Dad Mode’. I shouldn’t have talked to you like that.”
“No, I- that was a reasonable reaction,” Ford said quietly.  “It’s- it’s how you would respond if I was actually a petulant child.  We are in public.”  Stan sighed one more time.
“Still.  Well, uh, let’s, uh, let’s go find Angie, okay?” he said, feigning a cheerful tone. Ford nodded.  Stan set off.  Ford frowned, frustrated at how much faster they were moving, now that Stan was the one walking.  After a few moments, they found Angie perusing clearance dresses.  “Ang, I found him.”  Angie looked up.  She beamed.
“Ya most certainly did!  You ready to find some clothes, Stanford?” she chirped.  Ford nodded reluctantly.  Angie paused for a moment, watching the two brothers.  She cocked her head.  “Uh, aren’t ya goin’ to put ‘im down?”  Ford buried his face in Stan’s shirt so that he could pretend he didn’t hear how Stan replied.  Unfortunately, his hearing wasn’t impeded whatsoever.
“His legs got a bit tired is all,” Stan said.
“Ah.  Okay.” Angie’s tone was mild, but Ford felt a hot flush rush across his face.  He squeezed his eyes shut.  Stan patted his back gently, but while the gesture was supposed to be comforting, it just frustrated Ford more.  They started moving again.  Ford could hear Angie humming softly.
Why does she do that so much? It’s- it’s- His agitation began to slip away.  -it’s very soothing.  He sighed.  Angie knows what she’s doing.  So does Stan, for that matter.  They’re both excellent parents.  His comfortable position, snuggled against Stan’s chest, was disrupted as Stan carefully peeled him off and set him down on the ground. Ford looked up at Stan.  Stan chuckled and ruffled his hair.
“That’s a damn cute face, Sixer.”  Ford blinked at the compliment.  Stan grinned. It was the affectionate smile of someone looking at an endearingly adorable child.
“Stanford, sweetheart, come over here,” Angie called.  Ford looked over.  Angie was standing next to a display of various shirts, frowning at a sweater emblazoned with the Loch Ness Monster on the front.  “This looks like somethin’ ya might enjoy.”  Ford walked over to where Angie was standing.  She held the sweater up.  “Right size, seems like.”  Ford stared silently at the sweater.  In Angie’s hands, its minute size was clear.  He glanced past Angie, at a nearby boy being helped by a woman he assumed was the child’s mom.  Distress churned in Ford’s stomach.
I’m…so small right now.  That- that literal toddler is taller than me.
“Well?” Angie asked.  “Do ya like it?”
“Yeah, it’s- it’s fine,” Ford choked out.  Angie set the sweater back on the display and crouched down.  Ford determinedly looked away from her worried gaze. He hurriedly wiped away a couple tears that had escaped from his eyes.  “I- I like it.”
“Hon, are you all right?” Angie asked softly.  Ford let out a loud sniff.  Seemingly summoned by the noise, Stan appeared at Ford’s side.
“Bud?” Stan asked quietly, crouching next to Ford.  “Somethin’ wrong?”  Ford clenched his hands into fists and pressed them tight against his eyes. “Ang, you’ve got his size now, right? Think you can handle it on your own?”
“Sure,” Angie said.  “Just keep yer phone on ya, and I’ll find ya when I’m done.”  Ford felt Stan carefully pick him up.  He let out a sob.
“C’mon, buddy,” Stan said soothingly, rubbing his back.  “We’re gonna go for a little walk, okay?”
“B-but the clo- the clothes,” Ford sobbed.
“Angie’s gonna handle it.  She’s better at this stuff anyways.  Wanna go to the food court?”
              “I- I-”
“Yeah, let’s go to the food court,” Stan continued.  “Get some ice cream.  Okay?”
“O- okay.”  Stan began to walk.  Ford could hear the change from the generic radio station to the faint background chatter of the mall thoroughfare.  Stan was humming to himself like he often did when doing everyday tasks.  The mundanity of the sound calmed Ford.  He finally opened his eyes and peered over Stan’s shoulder.  Immediately, he wished he hadn’t.  There were two teenage girls walking behind Stan, clearly having spent a full day shopping. They were also clearly watching Ford with wide eyes.  One of the girls, short with red hair piled in buns, saw Ford looking at them and elbowed her much taller friend excitedly.  Her friend gasped and covered her mouth.
“Oh, my gosh, he’s so cute!” the taller of the two girls gushed.  Ford looked away, blushing.
“You scared him!” the other girl said.  Stan’s pace picked up.
“Don’t worry, we’re almost there,” Stan said softly.  “Just ignore ‘em.”  Ford nodded silently.
After a few more incidents of Ford catching people watching him, they finally arrived at the food court.  Ford let out a relieved sigh.  They went through the line at the ice cream place without incident, but Ford’s delicate good mood was strained by Stan grabbing a booster seat for Ford to sit on at a table.  As Stan set up the booster seat and put Ford in it, Ford stared at him pleadingly.
“Please don’t do this,” Ford whispered.  Stan’s expression was wracked with guilt.
“…I don’t have a choice.  Not- not only would it be suspicious, but it’s not safe.  You have to use the booster.”  Seemingly acting on instinct, he kissed the top of Ford’s head.  “All right, eat up.  Can’t let it melt.”  Stan handed Ford his scoop of butter pecan in a dish and took a seat, then attacked his own treat, a chocolate cone.  A few bites into his ice cream, Ford could feel himself perking up.
“Excuse me?”  Stan and Ford looked over.  The speaker was a woman neither of them recognized, holding a baby carrier occupied by a sleeping infant.
“Uh, you talking to me?” Stan asked.  The woman nodded.
“I was just wondering – how did you teach your son such good table manners?” she asked.  Stan frowned.
“My son?” he asked.  Ford coughed quietly.  Stan looked at him.  His eyes widened.  “Oh, yeah, uh- he, uh-”  Stan’s stammering was suddenly replaced by a suave demeanor, as he slipped into his spy training.  He beamed. “Stan Junior here, he didn’t get that from me.  You’d have to ask his stepmom.  She’s the one that taught him all his good manners.”  Stan grinned at Ford.  “Isn’t that right, Junior?”  Ford stared silently at him, unsure of what a three-year-old in this situation would do. Stan chuckled.  “He’s a bit shy.”
“Aw, well, I am some strange, random lady that walked up to the two of you,” the woman said with a laugh.  “Thanks anyways.”
              “No problem.”
“Have a good day, Stan Junior,” the woman cooed at Ford.  She walked away.  Ford scowled.
              “Really?  Stan Junior?” he hissed.
“It was the first thing that popped into my head.”
“I thought you were better than that at improvisation.”
“Hey, that coulda gone way worse,” Stan said defensively.  “Finish your ice cream.”
“Ya didn’t get me anything?” a familiar voice asked.  Angie took a seat at their table.  Stan grinned.
“Nah.  This was a special treat for just us guys.  Right, buddy?” Stan said, winking at Ford.  Ford quirked a small smile; Stan’s exuberance was contagious.
“Hon, I think ya can lay it off a bit,” Angie said quietly.  “Not many folks ‘re payin’ attention.  There’s plenty of cute lil kidlets at the food court.”
“Oh.  Yeah.” Stan rubbed the back of his neck. “Dammit.  I’ve been slipping into ‘Dad Mode’ with Ford a lot.”  Angie put a hand on Stan’s back.
“Yer adjustin’.  We all are.” She looked at Ford.  “How are ya holdin’ up?”  Ford shrugged.
“All right, I guess.”  He poked at his ice cream.  “Didn’t like the people who kept looking at me,” he muttered.  Angie frowned, confused.
“Buncha teens and old ladies thought he was cute and stared at him,” Stan explained.
“Ah.  Well, that’d happen, since ya are mighty cute,” Angie said.  Ford sighed.
“Yeah, I…I guess it’s a curse.”  Angie and Stan chuckled.  Stan shoved the last bit of his ice cream cone into his mouth and stood.
“I’m gonna hit the john before we head out.”  He kissed Angie on cheek.  “Back in a minute, babe.”
“I’ll hold ya to that, darlin’,” Angie said teasingly.  Stan walked off, ruffling Ford’s hair on the way.  Angie moved closer to Ford.  “Here.”  She carefully messed with his rambunctious curls, returning them to something more closely resembling a neat hairstyle.  “Better?”
              “Yeah.  Thanks.”
“It ain’t no problem, sugar-cube.”  Angie grimaced.  “Oh. Whoops.  Sorry ‘bout that.”
“It’s fine.  No worse than Stan scolding me earlier, or him carrying me everywhere.”
“He calls ya ‘buddy’ a lot, too, I noticed.”
“I don’t mind that as much.”
“Good.  ‘Cause I don’t see that lettin’ up any time soon.  Stan, uh, he really wants a son.  Lately, I’ve caught him mumblin’ in his sleep ‘bout throwin’ a football to someone he calls ‘sport’.”  Angie smiled sheepishly.
“That might explain why when a lady asked about me, he called me Stan Junior,” Ford commented.  Angie laughed.
“Oh, that’s right!  He put that name on the list.  I told him that under no condition would I name my son Stan Junior, but he didn’t care.” Ford cocked his head.
              “Are- are you and Stan-”
“No,” Angie interjected.  She shook her head.  “Not- not yet, at least.  Just talking about trying again.”
“Remember the last time you and Stan were ‘just talking’?” Ford said, raising an eyebrow.  Angie chuckled.
“I remember.  I remember very well what happened. We’re tryin’ to be a bit more careful this time.”  Angie smiled warmly.  “Sorry that yer trip to the mall was so upsettin’.  Hopefully I picked out some clothes that ya like.”
“You have good taste.  I’m sure it’s fine,” Ford said with a shrug.  Stan returned to the table.
“All done with your ice cream?” Stan asked.  Ford stuffed the last bite into his mouth, swallowed, and nodded. “Great.  Let’s get goin’.  Want me to pick you up again, Sixer?  We’d get to the car faster that way.”
“I know,” Ford said.  “And I’m feeling slightly better about that particular fact now.  But…maybe Angie would carry me?”  Stan’s mouth fell open in a surprised “O”.
              “Ya sure?” Angie asked.
“You two are incredibly surprised by this,” Ford remarked.
“I mean, ya did know Stan when ya were this age the first time ‘round,” Angie said.  Ford shrugged.
“Fair enough.  But Stan claimed you were my stepmom, and that’s something a stepmom would do, right? And I don’t think I can handle the embarrassment of my younger brother carrying me again.  At least, not today.”
“If yer sure,” Angie said.  Ford nodded. Angie stood and picked Ford up from his booster seat.  As she carefully nestled Ford into a comfortable position, he thought about how this was different from being carried by Stan.  Her patterned blouse was softer than Stan’s T-shirt, and she smelled like citrus and sweet peas, much more appealing to Ford than Stan’s usual aroma of motor oil, cigar smoke, and whiskey.  “Comfy?” Angie asked.
“As I’ll ever be,” Ford said.  Angie stroked his back.
“That’s good enough fer me.  Let’s head home.”

ok here he is ghjfhgjfg sorry for the Ton of Info ... most of it is just letting you know what kind of character daenerys is so u can draw him better ... HGHFG anyway
here are some existing commissions for more ref or w/e hgjfdhg (1, 2)
back suffocator (has a cylinder in the middle [unable to be seen unless it’s taken off] which drills a hole about the diameter of a dime into daenerys’s back, pumping sedation fluid into him; not enough to really sedate him but enough to make him unable to break off his suffocators or, like, achieve anywhere even close to his full potential)
these are other references for how the back suffocator would look, except no screen, much smaller, lower, and closer to his back (like above) (1, 2, 3)
btw i forgot to mention this in that description up there iirc but his eyes turn to upside-down crosses if he’s looking down or if he’s angry
war of the worlds tripods if you haven’t seen them (daenerys is about this tall in his natural form)
here’s those damn boots they turned out well but like im abysmal at drawing anything below the knee gjfddfhjg
here’s existing photos of daenerys (the oldest one was a test run, disregard the stuff that doesnt match with this version)
here’s what i mean by berserk mode (1, 2, 3, 4) he is very easy to set off like this but nothing gets him like this faster than if you hurt ilija. if you hurt ilija expect to basically be dismembered slowly and painfully while daenerys looks at u like #1
he’s not just good at ribbon stuff he’s good at close combat too. if youre a human and you get punched by daenerys expect to be flying back like 20ft and probably break at least a bone if not more than one
daenerys is basically what you’d get if you mixed crowley’s arrogance (owari no seraph) with zero two’s ... “i look human but i’m definitely not and also have this hyperfixation on my darling~” bit (darling in the FRANXX), mixed their physical abilities, and then chucked in the general trope of Ax Crazy and Mad God and blended til smooth
HAVE FUN LET ME KNOW IF THERE’S ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW ... I TRIED TO BE THOROUGH ... GDJHGJG i know i’m not very good at art that’s why i’m payin’ y’all to do it for me

hey man your comic stuff?? fucking amazing do you have any tips for a novice child artist such as myself
hmm!!! thats a good question if i have any advice at all…i dont really draw things in comic form that often because of how slow i am…its a whole project for me lol
also natch im just an amateur at all of this vs people who like…pay attention to how to do things really well and/or draw comics on a regular schedule &/or get paid for it and all. so seeing this i was immediately trying to think of like, advice ive seen from random professionals on twitter & stuff & i’ve tried to moreso shake it down to the stuff I’M actually doing when i draw a comic. which is a bit tricky because of my small sample size & the fact that i dont have any kind of consistent process or technique unifying all the comic-type stuff i draw
like sometimes its just a few floating sequential drawings and other times is definitely more like, really thinking of it in terms of how i’m going to structure it in Comic Form & use the format to adjust my presentation of whatever idea i have
like i know ppl whose Job (officially or just by their own standards) to do a bunch of comics pages will do a script of scenes to decide what goes on what page and sort dialogue / action into panels & describe how things will look etc…and then do like maybe really rough layout pre-sketches, then the first rough sketch for a page, an optional more cleaned up sketch layer on top of that, and then the final lineart
i sorrrt of do a version of that, in that i am generally sitting on a Comic Idea for a while before i even start getting into the business of thinking through how it’ll actually work. i have to make sure that im “committed” enough to the idea to wanna make more than one drawing for it, and that i think i have at least a vague notion of how i could put it into a comic. sometimes i DO end up just putting the notion into a single drawing or condensing it into like, 2-3 lil floating drawings or w/e. coz a lot of the times the idea starts out really vague, often with one “moment” that serves as the whole inspiration & that i then try to build a scene/sequence around….a lot of the details beyond that can be really vague in my mind, like the setting or dialogue or who’s involved or what happens or the pacing or extra events or etc…basically Everything is real amorphous for a while
so yea step 1 is me having this one idea and trying to decide if building a scene around it would be a better way to present it vs just having one drawing, & if i think i can actually effectively carry it out….which is in reality even less fancy than it sounds…i just sit on an idea for a while & never get around to actually focusing on it / putting down any of the thoughts abt it that im formulating. but the upshot of me putting it off for forever is that i do end up with a kind of mental script / layout for a comic before i start it…..but even the extensiveness / format of these unwritten scripts varies a lot for me
like, a few times when i have made something that’s maybe longer than just one page &/or something ive been mulling over for an extra long amt of time (which tends to be stuff that is starting out w/ heavier than usual ideas) i’ll like, actually write down what happens page by page, even plan out specific panels, maybe even put down a few rough sketches of certain parts. i’ll have the Main Moment which is the idea that started the whole thing in the first place, but what tends to happen is i’ll come up w other moments that i think could lead up to / frame / follow the main moment, and i pretty much just decide how they all fit into one cohesive piece. so what my “rough drafts” look like for these more extensively planned ones—still really not that exhaustive, i only put things to paper when im basically done enough w my ideas to be just about ready to start actually making them—can vary in their actual formats (e.g. simple chronological bullet points of events, a few drawings, a rough sketch of how the whole thing might look), the core of it is basically just me finding a way to nail down how i’m going to arrange the Moments i have and how i’m going to lead one into the other…….like for things with enough pages / panels, i’ll tend to focus on which Moment will end each page &/or each line of panels, then have an idea of which other Moments i’ll need to put on which of those pages, and kinda figure out how to pace things
again that all sounds like maybe i have a real process…..I Do Not
im kinda lucky in that i think i have a decent sense for composition without having to struggle over it too much. so a lot of times i can leave a lot of that up to be felt out as im actually doing the rough lineart for the first time. i also often don’t nail down panel arrangement that carefully & also make it up as i go along a bit, which is probably not something anyone should emulate. someone was saying something about how some certain page layout of like, 3-something-something panel rows looks best, i dont know. i’m guessing, as with all things, nobody can say “always do this / never do that,” but i think staggering odd/even numbers of panels in each row is always a good guess. just makes it easier for them to read more distinctly at least, surely
sometimes i DO think about certain panels when i wanna frame a certain “shot” in a very specific way. but im just kind of doing whatever. i know vague rules like that wide shots / negative space slows down the pace, vs tightly cropped / small panels / packed w a lot of visual info tends to read as a faster pace, more chaotic. i dont quite go too wild about that sort of thing tho, because for me as a reader, a lot of times really tight shots that are like cutting between 5000 different angles rly fast all in a row, sometimes it is absolutely unreadable to me, as in i do not understand the visual info at all. it feels like the equivalent of how action movie editing keeps hanging on to the “incoherency = intensity” vs just me tuning out until the scene is over & missing details b/c i just am not getting anything out of it
thats not much of a factor for me coz i dont really ever do things with extended sequences of movement / action or whatever. i’ll keep things in one place. i’ll like to do smaller, “quicker” panels moreso to like, show simultaneousish details / to extend one moment…..occasionally i do Big Panels for a moment of higher intensity / impact too. btw putting a High Intensity moment in a super tiny panel is always really funny for the contrast of it all. i dont think ive ever done it, but it is
ummm…….also planning where your speech bubbles will go is good. i dont do that enough, but i should. most of the reason i dont have a more proper, organized process to anything i draw is that i just dont have the focus / patience to slow down for More Planning vs just going ahead and drawing it. jokes on me, since some quick vague planning can make it a lot easier on yourself vs just diving in and struggling w something for ages
uhhh also since im not that fantastic or mindful of panel layout? sometimes i’ll make a point of just having uniform rectangle panels of the same size/shape, so i only have to really worry about the layout within the frame. this is mostly good obv for things with not that much shift in pacing throughout it or action or whatever…you lose the advantage of how panel sizes can affect the tone of a shot or something & probably cant get that detailed in ur drawings but that is often Fine By Me
when i do use the uniform rectangle structure though, i kinda have to focus more on each individual panel, vs like, knowing ok, these three moments are going on this page, i have a vague idea of what’ll connect them, just make up the individual panels as you go along. this does mean that i have to kinda think more about what justifies each panel….how its different from the ones before & after it or how i might want it to be similar to “hold” a shot for a beat or w/e or draw focus to a small movement, what’s actually going into each panel, if i can/should condense two panels into one, etc. its still a lot of playing it by ear, i dont have solid rules of how i think i should do it each time
even when i do have a like whole plan for something im drawing i’ll often make more changes as im actually making it. sometimes its deciding something would be more effective, sometimes it’s just “hey this would work too & be easier,” and thats definitely fine. nobody knows the change you made, and Easier isn’t necessarily Worse anyways. convenience is good where you can get it
ive also definitely had specific comic artists formatting/framing styles in mind when i specifically wanted to use that while drawing my own stuff. like the way i’ll draw maybe a kind of horror vibe (more diagonal lines / “fractured” panels than i’d normally use, quick tiny shots of different smaller details, that kinda stuff) is gonna be different from when its a calm & quiet tone. where i dont really get too creative with the panels really & keep them pretty steady
and then that one time i did a largely nonsequential sort of panel collage b/c the marge simpson anime gave me great inspiration for how to combine & present a bunch of vague notions i had floating around all into one page. it was a good accomplishment & thats unsurprising because the inspiration i was using was That Good. thank god we can all benefit from each others good ideas and knowledge & work & all that. it does help to jump on a feeling of “wow what a cool comic i wish i could make something like that.” just go ahead and make something like that…
ummm this is all on the technical side-ish still but i dont really know what to say abt the kind of stuff that makes me wanna draw a comic in the first place vs just putting the idea into a regular single drawing…usually it Is kind of a more nuanced moment that i think would be better presented within some amount of context and buildup and all that. i basically exclusively draw emotions….and sometimes theyre better shown with some amount of action/dialogue, or at least a few different shots or something. i dont know if this area is helpful information or anything anyone would benefit from knowing about, or even if i have anything to say about it…is it all self evident maybe? idk! i do think i communicate emotions best through comics…not that each one is “here is my mood!” or talking about me at all, but i was for example trying to communicate about an abstract emotion, i think i can draw about it better than talk or write about it or anything. i DO sometimes draw more directly from my own specific feelings/experiences for things, but mostly when i think it can be relevant…i cant really do anything all that directly autobiographical, even casual diary comics or whatever. thats what my text posts are for… but i have been interested in how to convert these huge emotional issues that i’ve been v familiar with into a few pages or panels and how to present its impact in the simplest, straightforward ways i can manage…sometimes i think its worked for sure…..i feel like i gave a more Relatable sense to a certain experience by putting it in comic form than any of the times ive discussed it as a personal thing at length via text. like i said i communicate best via comics probably, despite not drawing them all that much coz im too damn slow lmao
speaking of, i’ve kind of been like “what a waste” abt the fact that i dont have like, a proper approach or regular strategy to thinking up comics before i draw them, but i think theres something actually okay to be taken from that lol……just that i know if i got too caught up in trying to plan it all out perfectly before getting into actually drawing it, i’d be making it into a bigger project and slowing myself down even more & i’d risk dropping it partway through or just never getting started at all. so if i have a less than perfect end result, at least i have an end result, and ive finally got that one idea out of my head in some way. and i feel like some of my comics do work out decently enough….a good handful of times ive been surprised w how well some ppl receive them
so i think it is good to just go ahead and dive in. i did that once w an idea i’d been sitting on for like half a year, and i think it turned out good enough. i just knew i could easily spend months and months more turning over all the details, which might make it Better, but would also mean that yknow, i’d never actually get around to making it b/c of feeling like it had to be ideal. so i simplified it a bit, used a uniform panel layout, did little drawings, and just got it drawn out in an afternoon or two. and now at least it exists lol. and ive sort of come back to the same idea in a way…if i feel like it turns out i wanna elaborate on something more, i can just make another pic/comic built on the same theme, who’s gonna care or stop me
i also try to focus on what lines are/aren’t necessary to avoid things being confusing or just pointlessly cluttery….this isnt a big issue b/c i dont often bother w bgs. dont emulate that either lol…….but im not doing any Serious art so its no big deal to me if im not “good” or not progressing as spectacularly as i might. i dont need my drawing abilities to be that amazing here. but bgs still serve a purpose beyond being a “skill” or whatever so im trying to include them more, aka occasionally, at all. still hardly ever. but sometimes you at least need like one halfassed establishing shot yknow. anyways
mmm this has all been kinda vague and i’m trying to think if there’s anything more specific i could/should talk about!! i dont know. i dont have a good perspective on what its like to look at my art while not being me lol & what ppl might think or what stands out to them or whatever. rip
sorry this is so long, i dont really have ppl wanting to know abt my Processes or drawing thoughts or whatever so i’m kinda jumping at the chance to talk about this sort of stuff after having been actually prompted to. but i dont know if i’ve said anything at all!! i dont know if any of it has been helpful
“tldr; i dont really know what im doing, but go ahead and jump into actually making them as opposed to feeling like youre ready / you know the best way to make a page, because nobodys ever ready or can say This Is The Best Possible Version so just go ahead and use whatever process feels like it makes your life easier, while still actually making the damn comic” is my whole thing, i guess
i dunno, if there was some specific thing you wanted to know abt that i didnt talk about / talk about well here, feel free to ask me to specify because i totally will, which is both an invitation and a warning obviously
sorry this is so long everybody…….writing an essay & by the end of it not being sure if ive given any info at all is part of my whole Thing

RULES
behind the mirror mask
Hi. my name is _____ but you may call me SIA . I have been writing for over eighteen years of my life and roleplaying on tumblr for over six now . I am currently twenty five, have eight tattoos, no piercings, and try to be as cool of a person as i can be. I don't write on skype//kik//aim//discord or any of those fancy cellular platforms anymore unless i really get to know a writer and we click. this is my first attempt at running a multi-muse blog on here but if you have any questions please never, ever be afraid to shoot me an IM or message on here. I promise that I am literally a sweet potato. i do,however, reserve the right to refuse to roleplay with anybody i wish. if you post racial, sexually abusive material such as rape and incest, or other things like that i will unfollow you. They aren't triggers but they are skeevy to me.
NO GOD MODING // MARY SUE // GARY STU
This goes without saying most days yet sadly i always find myself having to make this an actual rule. You control your character and i will control mine. Simple as that.
NO HATE
This is an ABSOLUTELY HATE FREE ZONE. I will not tolerate anon hate or gossipping among my blog viewers or people i roleplay with. I find it salty as hell and I hate seeing people degrade others. PLEASE if you see me WRITING with somebody that you find toxic or upsetting then simply blacklist their url, as i tag every one of my threads with the person i am writing with's url. DO NOT make every other post on your blog about hate or how you find other people toxic or just generally wish to complain or smear somebody into the ground. I will not warn you. I will unfollow you without explanation. Simple as that.
EXCLUSIVES
While i have been against this idea in the past i feel like this is something to bring up on here . If I TRULY feel like our characters click and you are open to it then I will definitely be cool with being exclusive with you. What does this mean? I still multi ship my characters but if you would like to have me as your exclusive pietro maximoff, barnabas collins, etc; and we click well writing then i'm totally cool with that!
18+ // MATURE CONTENT AHEAD
if you have ANY idea who the majority of my characters are - which i really hope you do - then I will consider this my warning to you. THIS BLOG WILL CONTAIN MATURE AND NSFW MATERIAL. Sexual writing will only be conducted with those that are over the age of 18. no exceptions .This includes but is not limited to sex, cursing, blood, violence, assault, discrimation against mutants, and others of the like. I will tag ANYTHING you ask me to as "tw tag" so that way it WILL be picked up via a tag blocker for you. I am here to write freely but also wish for my viewers to feel comfortable when enjoying my blog.
MEMES
Memes are open to be sent in by anybody whether we are mutuals or not. all that i ask is that you please SPECIFY which muse you wish for me to reply to the meme as. The memes are always open to ALL of my characters for answers and i honestly LOVE receiving memes and questions for my characters no matter how prying they may be!! send.them.to.me.
ALTERNATE FACE CLAIMS / FACE CLAIMS IN GENERAL
some of my muses are extremely difficult to find pictures of . yes i could go through the movies / comics / shows / etc piece by piece and screenshot and i do at some points in time but for characters such as dylan piper, gregory sackville bagg, marnie piper, michael emerson, hadley dellahoussaye, and others you will often see a different face claim then what they had in the show or movie . i try to be faithful to my characters but please understand my choice in choosing the face claims that i do .
REPLY TIME
as a general rule of thumb i tend to be pretty slow with writing starters. i am much faster at replying to things i am tagged in as well as memes. i try to be fast at replying but if i have taken well over the amount of time you feel is reasonable in replying then please feel free to nudge me on the im with a reminder. Stuff does get lost on tumblr and while i will try to keep a thread tracker on this blog i do not claim to be perfect. This rule also goes to say if you ever wish to drop a thread with me i completely understand. No harsh feelings. Just let me know. Periodically if a thread has been unreplied to for over two months but your blog is still active i will remind you of our thread via an IM. If you wish to discontinue it i will completely understand.
WRITING / ICON FORMATTING STYLE
I enjoy writing at the very least para roleplays. This is not to say i won't post an ocassional one line opener. I enjoy writing threads with a little more meat to the bone instead of constantly writing 'she looked towards the man and smiled. "hello darling, how are you doing?" she asked coyly". that is very flat and boring to me. I am ALWAYS open to plotting out thread ideas and prefer to do so via IM or messages.
TRIMMING POSTS / LARGER ICONS & GIFS
I am sorry but to keep my dash clean if you write out replies to people and do not trim your posts then i will likely unfollow you. This also goes for if you use HUGE gifs via tumblr's gif option in replies. I would prefer size 100x100 icons or smaller as well as gifs but as long as you are not using the above mentioned methods then i am completely fine. If you are replying via mobile just understand i will trim our thread when i go to reply.
SHIPPING
Never ever ever assume our muses are in a relationship together even if they are in canon. I ship chemistry and highly dislike writing out romantic plots right off the bat without some bit of writing between our characters. please, if you ever wish to ship with one of my muses discuss it with me first. I will respect you and do the very same. Also never force ship my characters. just because you have gaga eyes for one of my playbys does not mean i am your personal sex toy. just no.
MULTIPLE THREADS
I whole heartedly welcome you to have threads with multiple characters I write.
CONTINUING THREADS FROM MEMES
Absolutely go for it! All I ask is that you start it in another post linking the original answer in the new post. If you cannot and you choose to reblog my ask reply, i understand. just understand i will create a new post so i can track the new thread much easier when i reply.
MEMES / M!A / ASKS
Memes are open to be sent in by absolutely anybody. Whether we are mutuals or not. I do not, however, accept M!A's that are sent in. My ask box outside of that is always open to everybody!
REAL LIFE BLOGS / NON RP BLOGS
Real life blogs PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not reblog any of my posts. I like a clean dash and it fucks up my thread trackers when everybody and their brother believes they can reblog my threads. Only my roleplay partners involved in that thread may do that.

soulmate! Seungkwan
requested by anon: “Soulmate Seungkwan please?🤗🤗 ”
Summary: in which you have your soulmate’s initials under your collarbone, which glows once you meet
"GUYS! SEUNGKWAN! COME LOOK AT THIS!!"
soonyoung barges into the dance studio excitedly
everyone complies with confused faces
soon enough everyone has a perfect view of a paused video on his phone
"LOOK!! (his soulmate) sent me this!! and I think- you know I'll just let you guys watch!!!"
Seungkwan has a front and center view of the video as a result of Soonyoung pulling him there
"Isn't this L/n Y/n??"
Seungkwan asks recognizing your face
the name always stuck because those were the initials
most of the younger generation knew you due to your comedic skits that you Korean subbed or did in Korean
Seventeen murmured in agreement, recognizing you also
Soonyoung shushes them and turns on the video
it was some type of q&a
but that's not what some of the members noticed first
in fact Seungkwan,
"SHE HAS MY INITIALS?!?!?!!"
Seventeen equals chaos
"If she is your soulmate I feel bad for her. Because of you, she has B.S. under her collarbone"
Joshua immediately bursts out laughing at Vernon's words
while they get stared at oddly, Seungkwan just holds a hand over his own tattoo
it was always covered up carefully in makeup, and it seems like yours was normally covered too
he's always watched your videos, admiring how funny and easy going you could be
and pretty
but to think... what are the chances you both have the same soulmate mark type and each others initials, its not possible you guys aren’t...
"HYUNGS WHAT DO I DO NOW?!?!
like every morning, you wake up and check your email
as a youtuber and college student, your career definitely wasn't ideal
most told you to just choose one
but you were determined to get your film & directing degree while maintaining your channel
you felt so blessed to have two million subscribers within the four years you've done YouTube
so even though it's your summer break from college, you are swarmed with YouTube events and get a ton of emails everyday
after going through and replying to many, one stands out
no mother effing way
PLEDIS????
what the heck did you do
‘blah blah blah we believe your soulmate is part of our company and we'd love it if you come for the week blah blah blah’
your scream was probably heard by the entire floor but you don't care
you quickly type your answer saying you would be free the upcoming week,
excitement was practically oozing out the message but hello you’re possibly about to meet your fluffing soulmate
the wait was a total b tho
and so was packing
you couldn't ignore your YouTube duties as you post two videos a week in the summer and do daily ish vlogs
so you had to pack all your equipment along with your regular things
while you vlog your trip to Korea you simply tell your subscribers it's simply a business/vacation trip
your plane arrives late at night and drive isn't short so by the time you arrive at Pledis, you've already fully freaked yourself out
you think it's probably just some company worker but it'd be really cool if you like walk pass one of Seventeen's studios or maybe even catch them practicing???
you really enjoy their music and think they all have so much talent
you haven't really gotten into them yet due to your busy schedule but you listen to their music
a staff member is waiting for you at the front
she sets your luggage to the side and brings you down the hall where you see a huge blown out poster of Seventeen
which they look really cool in
"He's in there," the staff member leads you to a door than leaves, smiling knowingly
you open, introducing yourself, "Hello I’m Y/n-"
the thirteen boys stare at you with wide eyes and you stare with equally wide eyes back
"ARE ONE OF YOU???" you shriek, Hello Seventeen is right in front of you
one of the boys gets pushed and tumbles forward
"HII MY NAME IS BOO SEUNGKWAN IM PRETTY SURE WE'RE SOULMATES!!!"
he does wild hand motions towards his neck, where your initials are glowing
you look down where yours are glowing
"YOU’RE THE SOULMATE WHO'S INITIALS ARE AN ABBREVIATION FOR BULLSHIT. THANKS A LOT"
he looks shocked for a minute but then laughs, "YOU’RE WELCOME"
"AHHHHHH!"
all the screaming starts and you both get pushed together into a hug,
pulling away, you both laugh at the situation
they all introduce themselves to you, some more loud than others
"HIII MY NAME'S KWON SOONYOUNG AND YOU’RE WELCOME BC I SHOWED HIM YOUR VIDEO"
he immediately gets tackled by the guy Seokmin
"LIAR (Hoshi's soulmate) DID!!!"
"HEY HEY Y/N SEUNGKWAN ALWAYS WATCHES YOUR VIDEOS AND HE REALLY LIKES YOU!!!"
Seungkwan's ears turn red and his face gets defensive
"YAHH-"
"Awe that’s so cute~ I listen to Seventeen too and I really like your music"
Seungkwan blushes and the members turn silent
until Jeonghan smirks and asks
"Who's your bias, you don’t have to lie"
everyone looks at you expectantly
you wrap you arm around seungkwan's waist, shocking him, and grin
"Ayeee what kind of question is that, Mr. Boo Seungkwan of course"
they immediately begin protesting and tease Seungkwan
in the mist of this, Seungkwan wraps an arm around your shoulder, with your arm still around his waist
he looks at you with a shy smile making you giggle
"Okay so who's the best looking?" you get asked
in the corner of your eye, you notice seungkwan's smile become just the tiny bit smaller
"Who else is there, all of you are ugly besides Seungkwan" you playfully stick your tongue out at them
"YAH HOW OLD ARE YOU PUNK!"
they start teasing both you and Seungkwan now
you feel a hand grabbing your hand and pulling you out the room
"Come on, let's go eat all the chicken in the other room"
"Ooh okay, lock the door hehe"
you both sprint hand in hand to the room down the hall
from behind you, you hear,
"YAH!! I heard that seungkwan!!"
he looks at you with lowkey panicked eyes
"Hurrrryyyyy"
"For the chicken" you grin
he stifles a loud laugh and he closes the door to the room and you lock it
"We need to eat as much as we can before they find a key"
you both stuff a chicken wing your own mouths and laugh
"You got something there"
you almost roll your eyes at the cheesy line, ‘like really dude lmao’
licking your lips you ask, "Did I get it"
"No"
faster than you can process, he picks up another wing and smothers it around your mouth and cackles
"YAH!!"
by the time the others got the key you and Seungkwan were in serious need of some face wash
