Aight, as someone who makes a lot of characters buffer when I draw them, I get why so many people in this fandom want to bulk up Xie Lian, but here's the thing:

The man doesn't eat. He's got a mortal body, and he canonically has wack eating habits (like, to the point I'm pretty sure Hua Cheng expresses concern about it book 5). How's the man supposed to be bulking up when he doesn't eat? (Also like... some people just don't get bulging muscles. Doesn't mean they're any less strong, it's just not immediately visible. Even during his first ascension, he was described as feminine looking to the point some people forgot he was a martial god, so I wouldn't be surprised if he fell into that category)

Anyways, unrelated, but I think it'd be nice if he got a slight tummy post canon. Let trash grandpa enjoy good food and retirement

Listen, although I do find it pretty exciting to see Kendall entering his Evil Era and actually becoming a killer, I can’t stop thinking about the consequences of him leaking all the shitty mud information they have on Logan. Like yeah, PR-wise that might be a great idea, it might actually solidify his position as a CEO (and he is obviously going to try and fuck up Matsson deal and take over the Waystar - I don’t know why he would want to captain the fucking sinking Titanic, but okay). But on the other hand, all the dirt coming out about Logan will be potentially catastrophic for Roman. Apart from the fact that Kendall is very clearly betraying his brother, literally like 5 seconds after he preached about them being a team; Roman will very likely suffer the most if stuff about Logan being an abusive father comes out.

First, it will flip his whole viewpoint upside down - he is so deep in denial and so trauma-bonded to Logan that he doesn’t even acknowledge his abuse, not even when in happens in real time. He doesn’t want to see his father as a monster and as his abuser, because that would actually require him to accept that he was a victim, that he was this beaten dog that everyone already sees him as (to one degree or another). Not to mention all the lies he tells himself about Logan and him being a good dad will go straight down the drain, and can you imagine what happens when something you believed for 40-or-so years cracks down in front of you? Kendall is about to break his reality.

Another aspect is that exposing Roman’s abuse to the whole world will likely destroy any and all opportunities that Roman ever had when it comes to rising to power (even if I’m unsure how much he actually cares about becoming a CEO). He might get some sympathy points, although I very much doubt that he will ever accept that form of pity from anyone. His image will be forever tainted and solidified as “the abused one” or the “one that was hit by his dad”. Can you imagine Roman’s reaction when that whole shitshow leaks? He does say at some point in the preview that he is finished, and although it might allude to Gerri putting out the whole dick pic situation, it might also very well be that his public image will forever now revolve around how his dad hit and abused him (his dad who was essentially his god in more than one way, who he was, and is trauma bonded to, who he came back to time and time again).

Kendall has a tendency of using his siblings trauma to forward his own position (even when he wanted to one up Logan in episode 2 by bringing up Roman’s and Connor’s trauma) and this is no different. But it’s a very easy way for him to blow up whatever alliance was ever between sibs. So yeah, I think Kendall as a killer is a great thing to watch, but also… well, Roman girl in me is already screaming in the void from the possible pain we might come to watch unravel in real time.

not to be a complete ungrateful terrible horrible brat for a minute but like having a terminally ill parent who is also terminally fucking shitty really sucks because not only do you personally have to cope with your parent actively dying but also said parent will get mad at you for wanting time to yourself and not wanting to be their live in nurse 24/7 and also like completely forget about who you are and what you're like as a person especially in terms of like . energy level. because it's not convenient to them right now so anytime you try to think of yourself it always feels like you're Choosing Wrong

Miguel is snippy cuz hes tired. Miguel has a "resting bitch face" but actually hes just tired. Miguel gets annoyed by people like Peter B. and Wolf because theyre too chaotic and have too much energy and hes Tired. Miguel says "no" to everything and has to play the hardass because he's the Boss. He thinks he has to hold all the responsibility on his shoulders and that he's not allowed to slip up or everything will crumble.

Miguel CAN be goofy. He can be sarcastic, he was before he fell into despair and he still is AFTERWARDS. he might not even be trying it might not be intentional but he is still funny, but Miguel has always been funny in a different way from other Spider-characters in the comics. Even in the comics ppl have commented "if you're Spiderman arent you supposed to be funny?" and he makes a sarcastic shitty quip cuz to him, Spiderman isnt the funny sarcastic sassy one who talks back but Miguel O'Hara is. but that part of him is Tired. Miguel is tired. and the line between Spiderman and Miguel is blurring because he's tired and both sides have to be the boss and work endlessly. (he doesnt but he refuses to let others help him. this is a personal flaw he drives me insane).

Miguel's anger in the movie only flares up Twice. both times when he's scared shitless that things are gonna crash and burn. He throws the filing cabinet cuz there is active destruction in a universe happening as they speak and he feels like he's failing because he didnt stop it. he thinks, he let someone else take over and help out so he didnt have to chase after spot and now look. dimension is collapsing. this is why he burdens everything on himself. AND THEN IMMEDIATELY AFTER he gets the scoldings out, he calms down. he relaxes. he makes snarky jokes and acts like a little cocky shit telling Miles that "the spider-verse is stupid its the arachno humanoid poly multiverse..... which is stupid too" and that is SUCH a Miguel O'Hara thing to say. that is so very in line with how he is when he's NOT tired. thats Miguel right there. and then he gets angry again when Miles runs off cuz again he thinks a dimension is gonna collapse. hes only been angry Twice when he thinks he's gonna fail. he isnt MEAN all the time. he's firm, he's broody, he's Grouchy but hes not Mean

6 - 3 nice things about myself, non-physical and physical. i'll do three each! since i'm trying to be nicer to myself!

physical:

- i got glasses the other day and i think they look adorable, i love how they look on me

- i think my eyes are my prettiest facial feature, they're blue and quite round and i like how i do my eye makeup too (rose pink eyeshadow + small black eyeliner makes them stand out nicely and that's usually what people compliment :])

- i generally like my body shape. i'm working out more too and seeing myself become more flexible and toned is actually really satisfying

non-physical:

- i always try and include everyone in conversation or ask them what they were going to say if they were cut off since i know what it feels like to be excluded/feel like youre the tag-along in a friend group, or be nervous to join in

- i'm good at a range of subjects and tasks and i'm good at picking new things up quickly: new hobby every week core

- i'm a pessimist at heart but i try and make light of situations, since i know that also picks other people up (my mum always makes the worst out of things and it drags my mood down a lot so i try and be as forgiving and optimistic as possible - honestly, a lot of bad situations can be made funny with the right people and mindset. obviously sometimes frustration is warranted and unavoidable, but there's almost always a way out! having it start raining and immediately hear someone complaining for 10 minutes is kinda unecessary imo. enjoy yourself!! its fine!!)

well, my friend and i are planning to go on a road trip up to scotland or somewhere similar once we get our drivers licenses and go sight-seeing! we were thinking february next year but we're still deciding

im also gonna try and bake some bread, so im happy for that :] i already bake a lot so i figured id try. also watching stuff rise is fun

this depends heavily, but for me i stay up at night cause i want to avoid the next day and its the one of the only times its quiet, and the afternoon is a weird spot for me. i'm not really a morning person but i appreciate the morning? the sun's rising and there's still time and everything's peaceful for a little while. so i think morning.
