i seriously need more narumi and mina moments because just imagine the relief mina felt when narumi joined, similar age to her and was also considered a prodigy in the force.

to have someone to share the burden of the defence force’s future with must’ve felt so freeing. because before he joined it was just her, age 18, being told that she was going to change kaiju extermination with her exceptional synergy with firearms. and she was so, so scared.

narumi doesn’t have the kind of skills or talent for long range combat like she does, but he’s also a top candidate (despite his behavioural issues- which aren’t much of a hinderance anyway) and mina doesn’t have to carry the burden of the future alone anymore

(although she’d never admit, given she probably views narumi as someone completely shocking i just think it’s so funny how she stood there like O_O when she first saw him)

like i LOVE seeing the contrast. mina who was sent onto the battlefield for the first time and was deathly afraid vs narumi who was sent out and immediately took action because that’s how he always lived (fighting)

and now they’re the top two strongest captains in the force and they will be the ones to lead the new generation..

humans have always irritated the king of curses— pathetic little vermin scurrying around, utterly oblivious to their own weakness.

so it came as quite a shock to him when he awoke after over a millenia, only to find himself trapped inside the body of some teenaged brat.

nearly 7 years later and he's positive there isn't a person he despises more in the universe. not even the cocky six eyes wielder can elicit sukuna's fury the way itadori yuuji so easily does.

that's why he resolved early on to kill his vessel's pretty little girlfriend, an act he hopes might satiate his spite. he's positive nothing would devastate yuuji more.

luckily for you, life has a funny way of working.

you and yuuji are standing at an intersection in the city, the pink-haired man staring at his phone as he tries to piece together the directions to a new sushi restaurant you've been wanting to try.

when the pedestrian sign on the other side of the street blinks, you step out onto the pavement without checking for oncoming traffic.

"what the-" yuuji's confused voice fills your ears just as a rough hand wraps around your wrist, yanking you backward violently.

a car barrels through the spot you'd just been standing, the driver clearly not paying attention to the traffic signal. you look back just in time to see harsh black marks fading from your boyfriend's arm, though the rest of his body has seemingly remained unblemished.

it's an odd sensation for yuuji because he's never lost control to sukuna in such a manner. he doesn't dwell on it long though, as anger blossoms in his chest.

"do not touch her," he scolds the curse occupying his body.

a mouth appears on his cheek and scoffs. "sure. i'll just let her die next time."

"it's okay, yu," you interject before he can retaliate. "thanks, sukuna. i, uh, appreciate it."

he grumbles something incomprehensible, his mouth quickly disappearing. your boyfriend looks at you bemused, but you only shrug. the fact that yuuji had lost control to sukuna doesn't make you feel nervous or threatened. you're grateful that he kept you from being run over, albeit a bit surprised.

as you continue your walk to the the sushi restaurant, you find yourself not quite able to meet yuuji's eye because... well... you haven't exactly been forthright regarding your relationship with the king of curses.

the first night it happens, you're laying in bed eagerly finishing the final volume of a manga you've been reading. yuuji is fast asleep and has been for hours, though you're used to being the night owl in the relationship.

you keep wiping at your eyes, the cheerful ending tugging at your heartstrings and tying the story together in a beautiful way.

"can you stop with your incessant sniveling? this idiot's brain is so rarely quiet and you're ruining it."

you look over to see the eye beneath your boyfriend's is open, staring at you scornfully.

"can you fuck off?" your tone is obviously meant to mock him. "i'm finishing one of my favorite mangas and you're ruining it."

"need i remind you of your place, brat?" he sneers. "it's dreadfully wretched, crying because you don't like the ending to some stupid story."

"since you're so clearly invested, i'll have you know i'm crying because i do like it."

"..and here i thought you couldn't get any more pathetic."

your eye twitches in annoyance. "just because you're mad about being stuck in 'some idiot human's body' doesn't mean you have to go around projecting your feelings of inadequacy onto other people."

you move your hand to cover the mouth on your boyfriend's cheek before sukuna can respond, hissing out in pain just a moment later.

"oh my god, you actually bit me." you inspect the teethmarks on your palm in disbelief.

"just wait until i win control of this body— the punishment you deserve for such insolence. you'd better hope you're miles away, but even then—"

"holy shit, enough already. i'll go to sleep. enjoy your peace and quiet," you growl angrily, flipping off the lamp and turning away from him. for some reason, you still find yourself mumbling, "good night."

sukuna's eye widens before promptly closing, the silence hanging in the air heavily. it's the longest conversation he's had in years and the first casual pleasantry he's heard in a millenia. he tries to feel satisfied that he got what he wanted in the end, before returning to his quiet solitude.

over the next few months, your late nights are graced somewhat frequently by the king of curses. he mainly complains— the friends you hung out with earlier were annoying, the tv's too loud, it took yuuji twenty minutes to exorcise a curse that sukuna could have dealt with in seconds.

it doesn't bother you nearly as much anymore and he's no longer able to get under your skin like he did that first night. it seems as if he's losing his touch, or perhaps he just isn't trying as hard.

it's around one in the morning, a book resting in your lap while your boyfriend snores softly beside you. sukuna's eye pops open, peering over at the text. "you're reading homer?"

your body jerks, startled by his sudden question, but you recover soon thereafter. "yeah, were you two friends or something?"

"no, you fool," he derides. "he lived far before my time."

though you don't comment on it, you find it amusing that your sarcasm had gone over his head. "oh, you're right. how silly of me to think you had friends."

"such profound witticism. i can hardly contain myself."

you sneak a glance over to find he's narrowed his eye at you and you actually giggle. "sorry."

it doesn't dawn on you how bizarre the interaction is, but sukuna abruptly realizes that something feels different. not once before tonight had he made you laugh.

he pushes the thought from his mind. "i did, however, indulge in his works during the heian period."

"really?" you perk up. it's not often you give him your full attention. "what'd you think?"

"i suppose i liked him well enough. one of my favorite lines comes from the poem you're reading."

you motion your hand for him to continue. "well don't be shy. i'm sitting here with bated breath."

he rolls his eye, but speaks nonetheless.

"men are so quick to blame the gods— they say that we devise their misery..." you realize for the first time how gruff his voice is, the deep reverberations sending a shudder down your spine. "but they themselves, in their depravity, design grief greater than the griefs that fate assigns."

his eye flickers between each of yours before you look back to your book, fiddling with the corner of the page. you're suddenly feeling rather shy. "does that mean you think humans are even crueler than you?"

he muses over your question briefly.

"if i recounted how men would flee the villages i burned, leaving their families behind in a selfish attempt to save themselves.. who would you find more revolting?

you swallow nervously. "i.. i don't know."

"what if i told you of the men who would eagerly offer their wives and daughters to me, hoping i'd spare them.. who would you deem more wicked?"

you're so busy avoiding his gaze that you don't see the way he carefully regards you. a question you're unsure you want the answer to tumbles from your lips before you can stop it. "did you accept? the.. the husbands' offers—"

"no," he responds. "i have little interest in unwilling partners."

"oh. well that's, um, good."

he hums in response, leaving you to process everything he's told you.

"you should stop," you blurt out eventually.

"stop what?"

"being nice to me." you wouldn't normally consider discussing literature then reminiscing about the egregious stories of his past life particularly kind, but then again, it is sukuna you're speaking with. "it's weird."

he rolls his eye again. "you're hardly in any position to be giving me orders, you insufferable brat."

"see? that's much better."

"why are you crying?" his tone is even, conveying neither annoyance or concern. truthfully, he has no idea what compelled him to ask in the first place.

you don't answer, hoping he'll leave you alone. you really don't have it in you tonight, even if sukuna's been much more tolerable recently. it's been weeks since you finished reading homer's epic poem.

the moon is already setting and it's just a few days before your date at the sushi restaurant.

when you sniffle again, he calls your name. you don't register that he doesn't say brat or idiot. it's the first time he's used your actual name.

"w-what do you want?"

"i seem to recall asking you a question."

you're laying on your side, facing away from yuuji and by extension, sukuna.

"i'm not crying," you declare.

sukuna briefly wonders why he's stuck dealing with you while yuuji sleeps, but his inward 'annoyance' is half hearted. "you're an awful liar."

you exhale and turn to look at him. the only light in the room is coming from the tv, but it's enough that he can see you clearly. "sometimes.. i can't help but worry about the execution."

yuuji has told you countless times that gojo has a plan, that he won't let anything happen, but you know what the higher ups are capable of.

and while it's down right shameful, you know that much, it's not only your boyfriend you worry about these days. sukuna's become so commonplace in your life, you almost look forward to talking with him at night.

"the thought of losing yuuji... of losing.. you.. it scares me," you murmur.

your words stir up feelings he's never once experienced and it's confusing to him. "i'd have figured you'd at least be pleased to be rid of me."

"well, i-i kind of thought we were friends now," you share without thinking.

"don't flatter yourself."

he regrets the words as soon as they come out of his mouth and the guilt he feels as he watches your face fall is unbecoming of a being so powerful. you apologize meekly, shifting (too late) to hide your hurt.

he can't remember a moment in which he's hated being trapped in his vessel's god forsaken body more. he wants to reach out to you, even if the idea feels entirely foreign to him.

but he can't, so he just sighs. "if you think i'm going to let a few feebleminded sorcerers execute me and the brat, you're even more foolish than i thought."

you peer at him, the smallest smile gracing your lips when you realize that's probably as close to an apology as sukuna would ever get.

"promise?"

for fuck's sake. he feels utterly pathetic. completely deplorable. laughable, even—

"yes," he states impassively. "now go to sleep."

"okay." your smile is just a little wider as your fingertips brush the spot below his eye and above his mouth. you wonder if he can even feel it. "good night, sukuna."

"...night, brat."

less than a week after sukuna saves your life at the intersection, yuuji kisses you goodbye as he heads out to a mission. he assures you he'll be early tonight, as he only has to exorcise a semi-grade one cursed spirit in roppongi.

though things don't go quite as planned because in addition to the semi-grade, he finds himself standing before two special grades. he manages to defeat one of the special grades, but the other two leave him badly hurt, his breathing labored.

he has to beg sukuna to switch out with him. the king of curses hasn't forgotten his promise to you and he's no fool— it's clear this is an ambush by the higher ups— but he'll be damned if he wasn't going to have a little fun with the brat first.

he makes quick work of the curses, each of them going rigid with fear as soon as he appears, and it soon becomes apparent that yuuji is too weakened to take back control of his body just yet.

at last, sukuna has his long yearned for freedom and a new world at his fingertips, but there's just one problem... all he wants to do is find you.

when the lock to your apartment clicks, your eyes shift to the door, an excited grin on your face. you can't hide your shock when it isn't your boyfriend that steps inside.

you don't say anything at first, simply following his frame across the room as he approaches you. he leans against the wall a few feet away from where you're sitting on the couch, folding his arms across his chest.

"seems your concerns about the execution weren't unwarranted."

"w-what?!" you exclaim, rising to your feet and taking a step toward him. "what happened?"

he relays the story to you, emphasizing how 'unimpressive' yuuji's power was and how 'terribly simple' it was for him to finish the job his vessel couldn't.

you narrow your eyes at him, only half joking when you ask, "what are you doing here, then? shouldn't you be off pillaging tokyo or something?"

he chuckles. "such a dark mind you have. it wounds me to hear you assume the worst of me."

you bite your lip to hide your smile. "just figured it'd save time."

he closes the space between you and though you can feel the heat radiating from his body, you don't shy away from him. instead, your eyes trail over the dark lines adorning his face and chest.

he reaches up and your breath catches in your throat when the back of his fingers ghost over your neck. his nails graze your skin and a sly smirk forms on his face. "aren't you frightened? it'd be all too easy to kill a little thing like you."

"but you won't."

he can't tell if your assuredness pisses him off, but it certainly makes his heart rate pick up. his hand now occupies the space where your neck meets your shoulder, his touch surprisingly gentle. "what has you so convinced?"

"well you saved me, didn't you? and.. and you kept your promise."

he hums in response and your hand seems to act of its own accord when it reaches up to rest atop his. any lingering sense of amusement is gone in an instant, the air now fraught with tension.

"so why are you here, sukuna?" you murmur.

the king of curses has never known goodness. he's wrought untold destruction and misery, his name inspiring fear even after millenia. he's a legend— a god, even— yet here you are staring up at him and he swears the look in your eyes is almost tender.

"i don't know."

"and you had the nerve to call me an awful liar."

you know you're taking a risk when you lean up and press your lips to his. he freezes for a moment before his mouth begins to move against yours tentatively. his arm stays at his side, so you grab his hand, moving it to your waist.

it's as if that flips a switch in sukuna. he backs you up against the wall somewhat roughly and you can feel him smile against your lips when you let out a squeak of surprise.

he uses the opportunity to take your bottom lip between his teeth, tugging at it before moving to your neck with the intention of leaving a trail of marks across your delicate flesh.

you know you should care, but you just can't bring yourself to tell him to stop. you're too preoccupied with the feeling. he revels in the little gasps he's pulling from your throat, in the way you grab weakly at his biceps.

"you are divine, kitten," he growls. "been waiting so long to touch you."

just as he finishes speaking, he pulls back a few inches and his body stiffens.

"damn it. not now, you stupid brat—"

the words die in his throat as the black lines begin to fade and you're met with the perplexed face of your boyfriend. he breaths out your name, clearly worried. "what.. what happened?"

Summary: Coming home from college for the spring break, you find yourself tangled in whatever messy situation Mike’s friends are involved now. However, you’re not expecting to find your ex, Eddie Munson, involved in it as well. Things take a bad turn, and in a stupid heroic moment, Eddie ends up terribly wounded, and you’ve got to do something soon, and taking him to the hospital is not a viable option, as he is wanted for murder.

"We need to get him to a hospital" The doctor said.

"No hospitals!" You snapped. "He is gonna get arrested! He was framed and is wanted for murder, but he is innocent!" You yelled.

"We have to take him–"

"No! Proving his innocence will be very fucking hard, and the entire town hates him!" You cried.

"What the hell do you intend to do, then?"

"I don't know! But I'll figure it out. I can improvise here, keep him here for a day or two and then move him and hide him elsewhere" You said.

"Hopper's place! That place is abandoned!" Dustin said.

"We've got a pulse!" One if the paramedics said, turning to look at the doctor.

"I'm trusting you on this, I'm going to let you keep him here, as long as he's stable. If something happens, you take him to a hospital, you hear me?"

You stared into the doctor's eyes, clenching your jaw as tears kept slipping down your cheeks. You nodded hesitantly.

A loud rumbling, followed by a strong earthquake shook the trailer. Dustin freaking out, as the entire paramedics team cursed, but remained glued to Eddie, exchanging terrified looks, but without actually letting go of him. The trailer shook for several seconds, as you cried out Eddie’s name, his safety first thing on your mind rather than your own. Your heart beating nervously in your head as you

And when finally the earthquake stopped, the two paramedics exchanged looks and confused questions before they both snapped back and continued attending Eddie.

The doctor gave instructions as you guided them to Eddie's room, managing to improvise a decent set up. His mattress on the floor, next to the closet doors, hanging from the handle the IV therapy, you watched anxiously from a corner as Eddie lied unconscious, IV going into the back of his hand, and one of the paramedics was giving him meds through the plastic IV tube.

Dustin explained everything that had happened to the paramedics, as they every so often looked at Dustin incredulous and asked questions. Only believing him because of the gate they all saw upon entering the trailer.

Dustin’s explanation was cut short when Steve's voice echoed.

"Henderson!"

"Shit! Sorry doc!" Dustin said rushing to the living room.

"Henderson! What the hell happened to our way out?" Steve asked furious, as Dustin stuttered and started telling them what happened, as some of the paramedics followed Dusting, their puzzled looks only growing wider in horror as they saw people abnormally standing on what would be the roof.

"Eddie cut it"

"What?!" He barked.

"He bought more time for us and cut it once we jumped back, and left to fight the bats!"

"What?! Where is he?"

"What the hell is going on here?" The doctor said, interrupting Dustin and looking up at the ceiling.

You remained in Eddie’s room. Now, everyone looking a lot calmer, as you kept your eyes glued to Eddie. He was looking slightly less pale, as he slept, perhaps high on morphine and other pain killers.

"Hey," One of the paramedics, a guy named Rick, called your name softly. "He's stable now, the morphine will keep him knocked out for a long while, got somewhere to write down? I'll tell you the instructions of his treatment…and I'll leave you some morphine and penicillin…okay?"

"Thank you, Rick…" you said as you stood up weakly and grabbed one of Eddie's notebooks lying around and the first pen you saw.

"So, the infamous Eddie is the Eddie you always told us about when you were on call with us?"

"Yeah, that same one…"

"Is he seriously innocent?" You glared at Rick.

"He is innocent, that I'd take the blame for the murders for him, as long as it clears his name, even if I end up in prison…"

"You love him"

"You've got no idea" You said opening the notebook in some random blank page. "Okay, treatment…"

Rick proceeded to list medications and instructions, when and how much of which medication to administer. He asked you to keep the wounds clean and dry, change the bandage at least once a day, and to check his vitals every hour at least until he woke up. You wrote everything down as Rick handed you the meds and a couple of syringes, some more IV fluids, gauzes and bandages.

"Thanks Rick" You whispered.

Before Rick could reach the door, you saw the rest of your friends rushing in the room, looking at both of you. Eddie passed out, shirtless and covered in bandages, and IV connecting him to the volume expander bottle hanging from his closet door, hair disheveled on the pillow. And you, sitting on the floor next to him, your eyes swollen and red, as you had a couple of cuts on your arm.

"Is he alright?" Steve asked, as you nodded.

"He's stable for now…" Rick said. "Anything happens, you give us another call, yes?"

"Thank you guys…" You purred. "Tell the doc," You sighed. "I'll…call him tomorrow morning after Eddie wakes up, and…I'll pay for…everything. Please tell him to not tell my parents…" You purred.

"They don't know you're back with your murderous boyfriend?" Rick joked, managing to steal a chuckle from your throat.

"They never knew. They would've never approved of Eddie, even though he's the best to have happened to me…"

"Yeah, I guess you must think highly of him if you're willing to go to jail for him…" Your friends all turned to Rick, confused and alarmed by his joke as you nodded. "Excuse me, guys…" Rick said moving along and leaving the bedroom.

"Hey," Robin said, as you looked up and met her stare. "He's going to be okay," She assured you.

Nancy walked and knelt besides you, hugging you. She knew what Eddie meant to you, and she knew how hard it was breaking up with him after you moved away, trying to keep a long distance relationship, while trying to get into med school was rough. She was the only one who knew Eddie had been your first many things, first boyfriend, first love, firs kiss, first time; and the good 3 year relationship you had. And she could only imagine how rough it was for you right now looking at Eddie like this.

You sobbed silently against her shoulder, clinging to her for comfort. While you were considerably calmer now, you still were hurting from seeing Eddie in such a state. Wishing you could speed up time until he woke up.

After a while, the paramedics had left, having to attend more emergencies after the unexpected earthquake, Steve, Nancy and Robin told you what happened. Eventually, Erica came to the trailer, letting everyone know what had happened to Max and that her and Lucas were on their way to the hospital.

"What?" Steve snapped at the news.

You spent the night at the trailer, barely letting Eddie out of your sight. Dustin and Nancy stayed with you, keeping you company, and offering to take turns to keep an eye on Eddie and check his vitals. However, the anxiety was keeping you awake, knowing that you wouldn't be able to fall asleep until Eddie woke up, or something else happened.

You kept track of time to check his heart rate, pulse, temperature, and breathing every hour, but you didn't really kept track of how long it had been. You felt stuck in a never ending cycle of obsessively looking at him, waiting for something to happen, almost as if you were watching the grass grow. It made you sick, and more often than not, you sobbed, scared that he might not wake up at all.

You finally felt your soul return to your body, as you were dozing off, leaning against the wall, next to his mattress. Eyes closed and breathing deep, and slightly asleep, although every single noise would make you flinch wide awake and immediately looking at Eddie. This time, what made you snap out of your sleepy state was Eddie’s voice.

"Babe?" His voice was deep, husky, even tired.

Your heart skipped a beat and raced instantly as you looked at him. Your stomach twisting with a tickling euphoria as tears immediately filled your eyes.

"Eddie," You whispered happily, as you leaned on your elbow against the mattress besides his head as you kissed his forehead. "How are you feeling?"

"Hmm…" He hummed closing his eyes, and grunting, "Funny…"

"It’s the morphine…"

"Oh, I’m on morphine?" His voice was coarse "Nice, I always wanted to try it…" He purred, making you chuckle softly.

"Well, your sense of humor is intact, so…that’s good…" you chuckled and kissed his forehead again.

"What’s the damage, doc?" He muttered weakly as you sighed and leaned back, looking at him. The blanket he had over his body was mostly covering him from his waist down, as he lied shirtless, and covered in stitches and clean bandages.

"Well, that sexy tattoo you’ve got on your ribs and the one on your chest are ruined…but you can get them redone after you’ve healed…the one in your arm and your bats are mildly compromised, but don’t worry, your Metallica tattoo is fine…" You joked, feeling your chest lighting up as he chuckled.

"The Metallica one is my favorite, so, I guess not everything is lost…" He murmured looking at you and smiling.

"You’ve got pretty gnarly wounds…but, I’ll help you get them clean. You’re currently on morphine, and will stay like that until tomorrow, a few more painkillers, antibiotics…Oh and you needed a plasma expander…"

"That sounds nasty…" Eddie sighed.

"It’s a kind of an IV fluid that’s a wannabe blood transfusion basically…" You explained as he frowned softly.

"Oh shit, it was that bad?" He said trying to sit up, groaning.

You immediately stopped him, resting your hands on his chest.

"N-no, baby. Lay back down…" You murmured, gently pushing him back on the mattress as he sighed defeated and rested his head against the pillow again. "E-Ed…" You purred. "At some point I thought you were really going to die on me…" You whispered, your voice shaking. "Your heart rate got so low, I gave you atropine, but…I should’ve done that earlier…I gave you CPR because your heart sounded pretty…slow and far away…"

"Oh…" He sighed softly, noticing the way your voice faltered and your eyes teared up slightly.

"Yeah…" You sighed as he reached up to cup your cheek in his hand.

"I’m sorry," He mouthed.

"N-no…don’t apologize…" You sighed, a tear managing to escape your eye as Eddie wiped it away with his thumb "I told you I was going to tear the world apart if I needed to, in order to keep you alive"

"You said that?" He inquired.

"You don’t remember?"

"I don’t remember a lot of things…" He began "I remember something about Blondie…And…verbs? Did we talk about school or some shit like that?" He asked, smirking as he kept looking at you.

You chuckled softly and leaned forward, kissing his cheek.

Truth was, he did remember that bit. He remembered telling you he couldn’t see himself with someone who wasn’t you, and how you’d told him to not use verbs in last tense. He just wanted to see you smile, and that soft chuckle, warmed his heart, making it beat strong.

Your eyes teared up again and you shook your head. Leaning closer, your lips met his sweetly. Gently melting against his, as he moaned in surprise and instantly kissed you back. Lips locking shyly for the first time in a long time. Sure, your last proper kiss was the last time you came over to Hawkins for the summer break and went out with Eddie, reliving good times, going to the drive in movies, and making out at the back of his van, only to return to his place and finish what you started. But every kiss with Eddie felt like the very first one. The way you were so deeply in love with him, made it hard for you to lay eyes on anyone else, even after breaking up. His lips were soft and warm, and tasted like every good memory you both shared. The butterflies were still in your stomach,me even after all this time.

Breaking the kiss, you laid on the mattress. You snuggled next to him, slowly, trying not to hurt him as you rested your head against his chest and he wrapped his arm around you, keeping you close to him as he kissed your head. You ran your hand gently over his exposed skin, avoiding the bandages and the bruises, as he hummed, hypnotized by your touch.

"Hm, this is nicer than the morphine…" He murmured. "I missed you a lot, princess…"

"I missed you too, Ed…" you replied, kissing his chest, right next to the wound over his tattoo.

"It kinda sucks that we had to…see each other under these circumstances…but hey, I’m alive because of it" He added brushing his fingers delicately on your scalp.

"I know we both agreed to break up and perhaps try again after you graduated, but…it still sucked being away from you…" You whispered looking up at him.

"I mean, when you came over for the holidays we'd see each other…"

"I mean, yeah, but we’d hang out as friends" You chuckled as he raised an eyebrow and gave you a cheeky tired smirk.

"You do that with all of your friends? And do you kiss them goodbye? Damn, and I thought I was special…" He teased watching you roll your eyes.

"Shut up," you giggled. "You are special,"

"I know it’s not the best timing, and that I’m wanted for…god knows how many crimes by this point…but let’s get back together, babe…These two years have been…not the best…And when I’m with you, everything’s better…" He sighed.

You looked at him, and cupped his cheek.

"Your timing has never been the best, Ed. But that’s alright, it’s one of the reasons why I'm still in love with you…" You chuckled.

Looking into his beautiful black eyes, he smirked, winking at you. You leaned forward, kissing him again. Sweetly, slowly, the kind of kiss that made you melt with love and tenderness, making you think that you'd never be as happy with anyone else but him.

Surprised that the freak outcast metal head nerd Eddie Munson could captivate the heart of the straight A’s goodie two shoes you were. Despite the both of you being do different from one another, you two got along just perfectly. He reminded you to loosen up every once in a while, and humbled you down, reminding you how different backgrounds put you into a predetermined path, or made your life simpler or more difficult in certain aspects. You on the other hand, helped Eddie to keep his feet on the ground, and that sometimes enduring things that might be boring or too complicated, in the end rewarded you greately.

Nancy and Dustin knew Eddie had woken up when they heard the both of you talking. Wanting to go see him, but at the same time respecting your space, Dustin and nancy waited outside his room, as they had caught a glance of the both of you kissing, meliting into the sweetest kiss.

"I didn't know they were together…" Dustin sighed.

"Everyone in school knew…but she never talked about it outside of school…mostly because of our parents…" Nancy explained. "You've heard the things my dad says about Dungeons and Dragons…"

"Yeah…" Dustin sighed. "How long were they together?"

"Three years…" Nancy said "They actually had a reputation together. Eddie was the outcast, she was the sweet girl everyone got along with, and despite Eddie’s reputation, no one could deny they made the cutest couple…" Nancy explained.

"Why did they break up?"

"They tried keeping a long distance relationship…But because she wants to go into medical school, she spends a lot of time studying…And from what she told me, she felt like she was keeping Eddie from experiencing other things while staying loyal to her…They broke up, but I've never seen Eddie even in the slightest interested in seeing other women…"

"Yeah, Eddie never really showed interest in anyone…" Dustin sighed. "I'd never seen him like this. These last days, I mean, ever since we went to Skull Rock and they saw each other…He also said, several times, that he was going to move to Indianapolis after graduating…"

"Because she's there…Yeah. She told me…" Nancy sighed.

They looked back at the both of you, as you were snuggled together, foreheads bumped together, staring into each other with endless adoration.

The door was pushed open, Steve storming in, as Nancy and Dustin flinched lightly and looked at the door.

"Hey," You heard Steve’s voice echoing, followed by loud steps approaching the room and calling your name "How’s Ed— Oh," Steve stopped poking inside the room, as he saw you two cuddled on his mattress, his IV going from the back of his hand to the bag hanging from the closet handle.

"Hey Steve…" You murmured.

"Hey, man…" Eddie sighed.

"It’s good to see you awake, man" Steve said.

"Thanks Harrington…How did it go? Did the little bitch pay?" Eddie asked, as you felt a bitter taste in your mouth. Steve's face dropped.

"Yeah…about that…" Steve sighed and leaned against the wall, and crossed his arms over his chest. "We’re fucked…"

No matter how hard you tried to not live in the shadow of a ghost, it was damn near impossible. You hated the way you felt. It was disgusting to feel so angry with him. She was so young, never even having a chance to get to know him the way you have. How can you be jealous of that? How can you possibly feel the lingering effects of a girl long gone?

You get all the good parts of him: the soft touches, the warm kisses, and the late nights laying on his chest while listening to his heartbeat.

She’d never get that, and yet here you are desperately clinging onto the shred of dignity you have while watching him get dressed. His back is littered with old scars and a few new ones that seem to have barely just healed. The bed dips when he sits on the end, rebraiding his hair.

“Ken,” your voice sounds outside of your body, no longer resembling yourself.

“Hmm?” He hums, his eyes peeking over.

“You could stay with me tonight, it’s late.” Stupid, you’re so stupid. There’s never been a time this has worked, and never will be.

“I can’t.” He kisses your forehead as he stands, grabbing his black and white cardigan. “I’ll text you later, yeah?”

“That’s fine,” the lie comes out as smooth as room temperature butter across warm toast. It’s not fine, and never will be. But, what else can you say? You lay down, enveloping yourself into the covers.

It shouldn’t hurt anymore, not after everything else. You can’t even admit to your friends you still see him as often as possible, too afraid of the way they’d look at you with their eyes full of pity. No matter how many ‘you deserve better’ and ‘just block him’ you hear from them, it’s in one ear out the other. The only thing you have left to keep company is your quiet apartment and the fading mental image you have of the pretty blonde girl who haunts you every waking moment.

He smells faintly like blood, the sweat masking any other scent he might be emanating. The bags under his eyes make you wonder if he’s slept since the last time you saw him, barely able to stand in your doorway, falling into your arms as he steps inside.

“What the fuck happened,” you ask, nearly crumbling under his weight.

“Nothing, I just... “ he sighs, and you manage to get him to your couch. He slumps on it, and you notice the trail of blood from his nose to his chin, only interrupted by his puffy lips. “Your place was closer.”

“Ken,” you kneel down in front of him and the couch, “please, talk to me.”

He shakes his head, smiling at you as you tilt his chin up. “Don’t want to worry you more than I already have. I’m sorry for showing up unannounced.”

“Don’t be, I’m happy you’re here.” You kiss his lips, and he winces. He doesn’t pull away, instead, he leans into you, again nearly toppling over. “Okay, let’s get you clean, and then you’re sleeping here. No more fucking arguing about it, okay?”

He chuckles, muttering something to himself. You faintly hear him say the word ‘her’.

You stop in your tracks, biting hard on your bottom lip. “What was that?” You manage to keep your voice from cracking.

“Nothing, just thank you -----,” he tells you.

You know it’s not nothing.

He compared you to Emma again.

You let yourself collapse against the sink in the bathroom, far from Draken’s view. You’ve never let him know how you feel about this, and you weren’t going to start now. You’ve let this go on far too long to mention how a girl whose death destroyed him makes you feel two inches tall when you’re with him. The mere mention of her name or whisper of memory can send you spiraling.

You’ll never be here, no matter how hard you try to be what he needs.

“Can you make it to the tub?” You ask, softly running your fingers across his shoulders. “I don’t think I can carry you.”

“Yeah, I got it.” He stands, wobbling slightly before taking a few steps.

You place your hand on his back, slipping under one arm to help him the best you can. Undressing him is easy, his clothes already barely hanging on by threads. Whatever happened tonight, you’re sure you didn’t want to know. Helping him into the tub is easy, he basically collapses mumbling a few sorries as the water splashes onto the floor and your legs.

Without speaking, you help him wash off. He lays back against the cool tile, not speaking a word. His eyes can’t stay open, fluttering shut then he jerks them open as he’s about to doze off. You wash his body, making sure to get every speck of dirt and bloodstain off his soft skin.

“Can you sit up so I can get your back?” Your voice is soft like you’d done this a million times.

Actually, you’ve never done this with anyone. Never even sharing a shower with someone. This is the most intimate thing you’ve experienced with him, despite the numerous times you’ve let him in your bed. As you wash the remainder of his body and his hair, you wonder if he’s thinking something similar. Does he think about you beyond the hookups?

“I forgot to grab a towel, give me a second.” You run off to your bedroom, reaching in your closet to find one, and then running back to give it to Draken.

“Thank you, so much.” He kisses your forehead before wrapping it around his waist, leaving you alone in the bathroom.

You sit on the edge of the tub, your head in your hands, forehead still burning with the lingering effects of his lips. Your grapple with the contradicting emotions and thoughts running through your mind. It doesn’t mean anything, he always kisses your forehead.

However, tonight might be different. It might mean something more.

You’d be stupid to think it means anything more.

You’d be naive to think he just randomly showed up at your place because it was closer. It was out of convenience, not necessity.

“Hey, do you have any food?” His voice brings you back to reality.

“Yeah,” you laugh, draining the tub and then drying your hands. “Just get in bed, I’ll bring you some pizza. I’m not heating it up though, just deal with it.” He laughs, the warm tone of it making your heart melt.

You look over as he speaks again, “that’s fine.”

When you hand him the plate, he smiles before digging in. He eats it ridiculously dast, and you worry he’ll choke and you’ll be left trying to remember the CPR you took in high school far too long ago. He doesn’t luckily. You take the plate and he lays back on your bed, and you join him soon after. He lets you lie your head on his chest, wrapping his arm around you.

“You’re welcome here anytime, you know that right?” You tell him after several minutes of silence.

His fingertips lazily draw circles on your skin. “I know.”

He sounds exhausted, his words barely a whisper. You’re not sure he’s even awake at this point.

“I love you, Ken,” you can’t stop yourself.

Stupid, so fucking stupid. Why would you say that? You know he won’t say it back, or even worse he could just-

“I love you too, Emma.”

He asks for 500 mora and (this is probably just a coincidence but considering Zhongli tips Xiangling 888 mora I’m sus). The number 250  [二百五] or ( èr bǎi wǔ) means “idiot”. 

If someone calls you 250, they can say (nǐ shì wǔ bǎi) or “You are [250]”. But if you give someone 500, this can be taken as saying two people are stupid (250 + 250 = 500). I mean, that’s probably not how it works but I think it’s funny to imagine Dainsleif being too polite to call us stupid.

I know right? When I saw the leak for it and seeing it confirmed in patch notes, I was so confused. Wha-Why are you here so early? I wasn’t expecting you for another 5 years at least. I’m happy to see you and your beautiful model in game but at the same time I was so worried that we were going to get crumbs of interactions. Same thing with Guizhong in Zhongli’s story quest. You know, I was talking about the archons a bit with @maagdalen and, I may have been misunderstanding or reading the wrong message, but they brought up the idea that what if the archons’ personality is based on their regions country's? So for example, Venti’s personality adopts the German mentality because Mondstadt was modelled after Germany? Obviously, I have no idea if that’s true because I’m not from or am German but in the context of Liyue and Zhongli. I can definitely see some sort of connection. 

But some food for thought:

But yess, @svnflowery​ said the same thing. That Dainsleif was Lumine’s “guide” the same way Paimon is our guide. I actually think that’s an interesting idea. That Lumine has gone to the exact same places as we’ve been through. It actually makes me wonder (since we can play as both her and Aether), that Lumine went through the same story line as Aether. She met Venti, Zhongli, everything that’s happening right now. She’s already been through, then when she reached the Khaenri’ah chapter she failed. So she decided to spin the clock back and change destiny. I mean, this is me spit balling and I don’t think this happened but it’s something to think about. 

You know funny enough, hasn’t Venti been asleep for a while? Either way, he doesn’t really strike me as the type that truly wants to be an Archon. He says in his voicelines as well that “that’s a problem for Mondstadt to deal with”. So it would be easier for the Abyss Order to mess some things up. While Zhongli has been alive for 6000 years and I highly doubt Abyss Order can do anything to him haha. If we’re going on that “Lumine has already been through this journey” she could be trying to re-make or lead us on the same path. 

I wouldn’t be surprised if Dainsleif was our guide, then when Lumine spun the clock back and aligned herself with the abyss, that’s when they split. That could be a reason why he’s trying to oppose the abyss order but really I think it’s because the Abyss Order’s goal is to basically set the world on fire (or something like that). I always pronounce character names wrong and I don’t understand why people make such a big deal out of it. You know who I’m talking about, my pronunciation isn’t completely shit to the point you don’t know. So why do you keep yelling at me??

Also. The most important part of his quest was it was “Aether’s version” of the “We will be reunited” trailer. 

It even showed the crushed dandelion flower and the ruin guard footprints. IT’S OUR SISTER.

I'd also like to ask a follow up question about it, because it seems that I've come to a different concl. from many of my friends and I'm feeling dumb abt how i feel w it.

first of all (and i say this as sincerely as possible, and if i'm coming off as condesending please let me know hh), please don't feel dumb because you've come to a different conclusion :(

we all read media at different levels (i’ve been told it’s ‘not that deep’ before fdljkfsdlkj) and identify different aspects in it, so the fact that you've had a different experience to some of your friends is absolutely not a reflection on your intelligence. and if anyone's making you feel that way, drop their @. i just want to talk :) furthermore, you’re not wrong for responding to something emotionally, especially if it really... makes you uncomfortable, you know? 

i'm from the PH & I've put off determining whether i'm comfy w the manga til the last chap,,,, but is it wrong that I can't shake the feeling that it's a justification of japanese expansionism and genocide? ik this manga has always been in the grey area, and that's what I love abt it! It often shows that no choice they make is absolutely good or bad, and does such a good job at showing you how each complex character came to that understanding (role of environment, etc...) but this last chapter felt too positive abt the rumbling? Like it was justified because paradis was able to advance and there wasn't much choice? idk.

that's totally valid! some of the best think pieces on the show i read mentioned that the concern with the narrative is less "is isayama a nazi sympathiser?" (he most likely isn't), but if he's a imperial japan apologist. and...

well, let's just say that my father is british, and when i was trying to say that colonisation was bad, using british india as an example, he said "well, we gave them railroads." it's... it's uncomfortable and gross and i think it encapsulates how countries with imperial pasts tend to talk about them; even if they don't officially endorse it, there's often a lot of talk about how "well colonialism was good for this country, actually--"

and if the manga felt like it was justifying japanese expansionism, then chances are it had elements that very much did point towards that. i've had a lot of trouble grappling with reiner, annie and bertolt, because they've existed in this grey area of 'victim of oppression' and 'war criminal'; and their existence raises the question of "do people who commit war crimes simply do what needs to be done?" and by victimising them it... it plays into the whole nuremberg defense of "i was just following orders". it's making you feel bad for the people committing said war crimes (and similarly with eren, and all the awful things he's done). but i'll get more into this point later dsfkjfd

i haven't read the last chapter yet (and don't worry about spoilers! i've been approaching aot from a very... specific perspective anyway, so i actually don't mind spoilers -- i read a bunch of analyses of the series before i'd even watched it hh), but... i think if it came off as too positive about, you know... an awful thing that happened, then it absolutely makes sense that you'd feel uncomfortable?

the modernisation narrative in general is one that always skeeves me out. it's one japanese imperialists use to justify the invasion of korea (and even those infamous tweets from the one account purported to be isayama talk about how the population of korea boomed under japanese imperial occupation, which... stop.)

it's also commonly invoked in cases of development. certain members of society (usually the poor), just 'had' to die for the good of the future. who gives a damn if they consent to that? they have to.

similarly, the 'we had no choice' narrative. that's... a concerning one that crops up time and again with history apologists, the argument that "oh if x country hadn't done y, then someone else would've!" or that acts of aggression were done as pre-emptive self-defence, which is so... ugh. i just. i just hate it.

It also feels really weird w the ymir and the whole loving fritz thing. i wish we got to see more of her thought process and what conclusion she came to that led her to destroying the power of the titans.

i... hate this so much. i get that abuse is complicated and victims often have multifaceted feelings towards their abusers, but... most people would focus on that in their story? the story would be about that? but instead, it's just... a thing in the history of the world and that's... icky.

also having the genesis of the titans come from a slave girl in love with her captor... there's many levels of ick to it and i highly doubt it was handled with the appropriate level of grace and sensitivity.

honestly, this might be one of the things that pissed me off the most because of how... contradictory her backstory was with That One Chapter (you know, instead of ymir crying because she wants to be free or because she’s been trapped she........ wants to see mikasa kiss eren’s decapitated head? i guess? what the fuck?) 

idk...I just think that context is sometimes everything. and i understand that media can portray incorrect things,,,, and that isayama likely didn't intend for it to become a global sensation, but i guess i'm just uncomfortable w the right wing nazis getting a comfort book ahaha.

i totally get that! even if attack on titan is meant to be anti-fascists, the fact of the matter is... a lot of fascists love it. and relate to it. which is... alarming. especially given just how popular aot is worldwide.

it’s hard because before the ending, attack on titan did feel like it was more grey; i remember saying that i wouldn’t know how to feel about it until the ending because the story was either saying “the military is corrupt and war is hell”, or it was saying “the military is corrupt and war is hell, but it is necessary.” 

still sorting out my thoughts, but yeah. I think i'm having a hard time understanding what they really accomplished with the rumbling and how they gave eren a sudden lelouch role and a lot of how they made it out to be a happy thing? perhaps I'm too biased to see it fully but to me it gives a "woah. eren was a hero. he saved us from destruction. those people needed to die for us to achieve this temporary peace and new start". i suppose the rumbling gave them a levelled playing ground?

OH MY GOOOOOD okay. i haven't finished code geass. but i really don't like lelouch. i mean... i think i just don't like characters that sacrifice other people for a purported 'greater good' (i could write an Essay about how much i hate erwin smith looking at him is enough to send me into an unhinged rage), but where i'm up to in the anime, i don't like the direction they're going with eren? i mean, i've never liked eren, but... that whole "martyr for the eldians" is just. ew. especially when you see several eldian characters disagree and resist him. 

why does this one guy get to make choices for everyone else? because he’s sPeCiAL? fuck off

i'm of that mind that, while media consumption is in part an intellectual exercise, it is inherently very emotional; narrative media tries to make us feel as much as it makes us think. that’s what stories are for, you know? intellectual analysis is well and good but what’s the point of a story if it doesn’t make you feel anything?

that's to say, i don't believe there's such thing as basing your opinion too much on feelings :') especially since it's your personal experience with a piece of media; you don't owe anyone 'objectivity' (which is always a farce when it comes to this sort of thing) or 'logical analysis', because nobody's got any right to criticise you for engaging with media the 'wrong way'.

tl;dr I feel like the mood was too celebratory abt the rumbling, and didn't entail enough on the tragedy so much that it felt like a justification for genocide and expansionism. how do you feel abt it's ending and the message it leaves? is isayama responsible to give a morally correct answer to the cycle of hatred? you're not obligated to answer! and sorry for the rambling.

like armin thanking eren? mikasa’s e n t i r e character boiling down to being in love with a mass murderer no matter how poorly he’s treated her? and one could argue that kind of ending is supposed to be unsettling, supposed to hint that the cycle will just continue, but...

HHHHHHH i just hate eren and i never got him. i felt bad for him in the beginning, but he's always been too... violent for me. there was a very short period of time in season 2 where i felt bad for him, but otherwise it’s just been... ugh. the main three have always been the weakest part of the series imo, so it’s really not surprising they’re part of the reason the ending was so. bad. 

and... well, that one infamous quote pretty much sums up my issue with armin. he's supposed to be the 'intelligent' one, but he's hopelessly devoted to a homicidal maniac with whom he has a very artificial, unbelievable bond with.

at the end of the day, the "thank you for becoming our monster" thing just makes it seem like attack on titan's core message is "war is horrible, but it is necessary." it feels like it's justifying massacre. and while fiction is fiction, and sometimes it's as simple as that, i think something as politically loaded as attack on titan needs to be looked at with a critical lens when discussing what it’s trying to say or what it means. 

do i think it makes someone a Bad Person for liking aot or being attached to it in some way? no, because that’s dumb, and what media someone likes =/= their Moral Goodness TM. ofc trends are a thing and certain pieces of media appeal to certain types of people, but it’s a false equivalency that misses the point. 

but by that same breath, nobody is wrong or stupid or has Less Valid Opinions just because what they took away from it makes them uncomfortable.

finished the story quests for bl3 (but barely any of the side missions yet) and i got...Opinions(tm)

in no particular order:

i honestly wanted to give gearbox some slack and try my best to like this game bc i know people had probably unfairly high expectations for this game given all the build up, but they really just kept letting me down in everything but the graphics

said this before but overall, the characters are all Quite lackluster

^^ tyreen and troy included. adding the word "bitch" to every sentence does not automatically make it funnier

that being said, i super love their backstory + relationship with typhon/nekofeyo-whatever

the character designs are equally boring. moxxi was the only one who got a real improvement imo. lilith and maya are okay. rhys...i dont think i have to explain. lia...i dislike her hair; the black felt like it balanced out her design better and the white streak was interesting and cool but full white just looks bad tbh. zer0 feels less sleek and more bulky which doesnt fit him much. tina lost her pretty color palette and cute outfit. where are all the bright pretty color palettes in general???? there are other colors besides brown and black???? use them?????

ending of pre-sequel: “you will need all the vault hunters you can get” me: “ooh does that mean all the vh’s from previous games are back? i can’t wait to see everyone meet each other! :D” bl3: only nine of them come back, 3 of them die, the rest are involved in maybe one mission at most

boss fights. super. boring. and tedious. i mean this could be partly because i was playing on ps4 which made it extra not fun but if the only reason the fight is difficult is because they have a lot of health...it's not fun or challenging. i want fights like handsome jack with interesting mechanics. i want fights like angel with emotional impact. i want fights like the pre-sequel final boss that i forgot the name of with variation that isnt just "now they have an attack that shines bright lights in ur eyes, covers the whole arena, and can knock you down in one hit im looking at you traunt and killavolt". tyreens fight was the only one that i somewhat enjoyed because of this. all the others were just like "ughhhh again?"

im really enjoying melee amara playstyle. taking out badass enemies in four hits is my jam. this is just my fallout 4 playthrough all over again babey heck yea

typhon just wanted to be a good dad!!! he called tyreen starlight which is adorable!!! he did the best he could and tyreen hated him for it!!! i don’t blame either of them for that tbh, it makes sense from both their perspectives. tyreen definitely should have been more understanding, but she’s a dick so :/ (not saying this is a writing flaw, just a character flaw)

hammerlock needs higher standards in men but i really appreciate the undeniably in-your-face "fuck you" to all gamer dudes

i really. hate. how little the player character seems to matter in the story. in pre-sequel the vh's all had unique dialogue AND npcs would respond, sometimes even with character-specific lines. even when it was the same across vh's, it still felt like the npcs were interacting and speaking directly to them. the player character felt like a character of their own, rather than just a vessel for the player to do quests and kill enemies with or an errand runner for the important characters. i thought that was the direction they were going in with bl3 too but this just feels like bl2 only worse. there’s a separation again between you and the story and it feels like you’re just watching things happen. now ur not just a silent protagonist, but instead your a speaking protagonist who gets completely ignored. whats the point of including unique dialogue if it's not even acknowledged beyond an "uh-huh, moving on"?

sometimes the logic just feels kinda dumb. the twins killed/disabled maya and lilith in a heartbeat, they can literally disintegrate the most powerful beings in the universe, but the vault hunters? absolutely not. they must fight them for 40 minutes and then die.

after the fight with troy, no one even touched tyreen. there's no way they could have thought "yup she's definitely dead, no need to shoot her in the head or anything just to make sure. we didn't do anything to even hurt her, we just assumed." turns out she's 100% alive and gets up to start the apocalypse. who'da thunk! i know they wanted the end to seem more dramatic but it just seems stupid that they could have stopped tyreen like 5 missions earlier had they even the slightest bit of common sense.

lilith was one of the biggest threats to tyreen and troy's whole plan. of course they should leave her alive and simply steal her powers. let's kill the monk siren instead.

i know they didn't include this to give all players a fair experience instead of favoring sirens, but it kinda sucks playing a siren character and it's just completely ignored outside of ur action skill. tyreen and troy are sapping siren powers left and right, but they choose to leave you with yours. when you enter the eridian place with typhon tannis starts glowing because it has "something to do with sirens". what about the one standing right next to her? this applies to bl2 as well...jack i would willingly charge ur vault key for u pls why do u take lilith instead :'(

oh yeah speaking of tannis! i LOVE that she got angels powers. for some reason it just makes me really happy. maybe it's bc i think it's sweet that part of angel survived. maybe it's because it makes for cool fanart. maybe it's just cool. idk. also like that we got a solid explanation of what angel's powers were (influence over technology). i always thought her having control over it in bl2 might've been cuz it was hyperion tech and she had access to it same as she had access to the satellite from bl1. it wasn't super clear since it seemed like she could also materialize things like the ammo during her fight.

that also reminds me: all the dramatic reveals in this game felt kinda badly done.

the very first one with zer0/katagawa. like the whole time i was walking around looking for him i was trying to think why he might've turned/something must have happened to him or rhys. everyone was saying it was undeniably zer0. i finally meet him and take one look at his bright ass maliwan armor and its like. really. you couldnt have made it anymore obvious that thats not zer0. and then his helmet gets knocked off and surprise! it's not him. i totally didnt already figure that out with one glance 10 seconds ago. (maybe even earlier when you got glimpses of him around the building but i always missed it cuz i was looking at the fish tanks n shit)

also the tannis reveal. she was speaking to me in the same way that only known siren characters could. weird unexplained things were happening and seemed to be related to tannis. i wonder if she's a siren? surprise! she's a siren.

tyreen and troy knew about the great vault through some unknown means. typhon was talking about having a son and a daughter who he told stories about the great vault. typhon calls tyreen his daughter a while later and lilith acts surprised like honey ur a little slow, i figured that out several lines ago.

basically i'm not saying they were so obvious that i knew from the beginning of the game; i only figured them out a little before they were outright stated. but it was enough that it kinda ruined the effect and the characters acting surprised only when it was blatantly spelled out for them just made it annoying.

i feel like most of this is pretty negative, but i don’t mean that i hate the game and was miserable playing it. it was honestly okay...like i said i wanted to like it, but gearbox hates me specifically and killed/ruined all my faves just to spite me sooo...*waves hand back and forth in a sort of “ehhh” gesture*. i think my opinion on bl games from most to least fav would be: tftbl, bltps, bl2, bl3, and bl1. so it’s not the worst, but deeefinitely not one of my faves. i mean jack’s not in it (or if he is he doesn’t have a big role) so it’s already at a huge disadvantage. the ending was ok, it was all dramatic n stuff and it kinda makes sense i guess, but it was just about as okay as the rest of the game really. i don’t hate it but it’s not great either yknow?
