A new AI? That you can customise to your own desires?

That was perfect for you. You could recreate your husband as a memorial with just a few clicks! Money wasn't that big of a deal for you, most of it comes from your husband's fortune before he died anyway.

So after dunking about a grand into the bin, it arrived a few weeks later. You couldn't wait for this.. revolutionary android. The box was about twice your height, towering over you to show its supreme dominance. Once you unboxed the giant android, oh how dreamy it looked.

Its soft, dainty face.

Its silky, white hair.

Its eyes.

Oh, its eyes.

Those ethereal blue orbs.. It resembles that of your now dead husband.

All that aside, how do you even turn this damn thing on?!

You opened the instruction manual and skimmed through every single piece of information. It's not there. You whipped out your phone, went to youtube and searched for a tutorial. Luckily, the 'On' button was right behind the android's neck. (shout out to that one indian tutorial guy btw)

As android fluttered its eyes open, you slowly realised that you ordered the wrong type of bot! you were supposed to order the strong, bulky one! Not this.. house-husband model! Oh great, now there's no one in your new family that actually has a job to attend to, so no job, means no money.

Hey, atleast you have this funny shaped robot to keep you busy, right?

That's what you thought, but behind that weirdly realistic textured body, a small gear clicked.

That very same android, has now recognised you as its sex buddy.

i’d love to see more of how misc shadow found out he was an android, or about how he even got reprogrammed by nine in the first place? how did the cast even fix that anyways?

also curious about how exactly he works/his mechanics–does he need to charge himself regularly? do his eyes glow in dark spaces since they’re screens? how many shadow androids even exist???

My current idea for how Shadow found out he was an android was through Sonic Heroes! Rouge suspects that Shadow may be artificial throughout the duration of the game only for it to be confirmed by Neo Metal in the finale, and that messes Shadow up.

Not exactly sure how Nine got Shadow restrained long enough to actually reprogram him, but Nine uses the Paradox Prism for ample power to be able to do it, but it was a total rush job. Nine didn't know or account for Shadow's adaptive and self healing Black Arm's tech, which brought him back to his senses mid fight with Sonic. (Also Nine figured out Shadow was an android through Sonic)

Shadow is powered by Chaos Energy, and has a lot stored and it automatically regenerates over time. Shadow can be manually recharged (either via chaos drives or conventional electricity) but he doesn't need to if he doesn't overexert his reserved power.

I don't actually know the luminosity of his eyes! They probably have adaptive brightness so they are as vibrant as the surroundings most of the time, but in the dark they may glow brighter than they should because they can't dim that much. Idk tho teehee

I don't have plans to have more than our darling shadow right now, so currently no other shadow Androids exist

i was watching a minecraft video on youtube and it abruptly cut into a short unskippable ad for some kind of detergent and the last lines of the ad were “no dyes no perfumes” and then without any gap or pause it returned to the video and the guy playing said “no lanterns”

so basically it all came out as one smooth sentence “no dyes no perfumes no lanterns” and it was so absurd and funny to me

They missed her. She only processed their words after a bout of absent staring, her thoughts still drifting out from the calculations she was running in the background of her conscience--that second space probe, Voyager 2. How it eluded her with it's weak signal. If only it were as responsive as it's brother, Voyager 1... Her thoughts return to the present matter after several mental detours.

She didn't expect to be missed at all. Always, she was here, in the facility, embarking on a mission of some sort, working on her own projects, just about anything else. But she was always here. Was there anything to miss? Maybe it was them who hadn't been here in some time--that's right, they're part time. That makes more sense.
