btw i love revenge stories i dont think anyone should ever move on peacefully. a bit obsessed with the way weissman went to the synagogue and rabbi and asks, "my choices killed a child. would god take mercy on someone like me?" and the rabbi says "it's not god's mercy you should look for. its the child's" and like you think that would spur this man into charitable activities and to maybe look out for orphans but instead he goes on a 24 hour revenge bender that ultimately ends in two revenge killings and his own death. what's better than righteous anger and wrath and love twisting someone into the worst but also a truer version of themselves <3

ok this isnt meant to be a dig or anything but it's always really funny to me when people like just cracking 30 are like "omg you're in your early twenties, you're a babyyyyyy"
babe you're like barely 30, you're a baby too. You're a blink and a half older than me. I spend too much time around people over 50, the difference between 23 and 33 is a few years at a job and a little more distance from living in your parents' house but it's like, nothing. the gap closes every time you breathe and every time i move. the difference between you and me is like one-fifteenth the difference between you and my dad's friend Joe or whatever. don't worry you'll get to live more life too, but don't kid yourself.
and this is doubled when it's coming from a 25-year-old currently experiencing a crisis of age because they're soooo old, they're 25, the horror! You are twenty-five. We have an age difference of three years. Your concern over this is embarrassing for you and highly entertaining for me. But like don't kid yourself here. You are 25. You are a like a fucking baby to me.

(sometime in between chip quitting his job to commit to wrestling 100% and the events of tagcen)
in a basil-less world, both of their lives would have had a slightly different trajectory. they wouldve been closer friends, maybe even have started a podcast together. lol
chip doesnt like taggart's deeply unserious aura, but they get along quite well when they actually have a conversation. unfortunately that happens less and less as time goes on. by the time chip's tagging with samson, he thinks hes too good to bother with talking to someone like taggart. and it doesnt help that samson doesnt particularly respect taggart either.
but yeah, as I said earlier they could've been better friends if basil wasn't around complicating things for the both of them. chip's jealousy and obsession towards basil is prime to ruin everything taggart has carefully worked for! oh no!

Dante and Virgil – William-Adolphe Bouguereau
[ID: Dante and his guiding companion, Virgil, stand off-centre of the canvas. They're witnessing the main focus and action of the painting that's occuring in the centre foreground.
Two male figures are entwined in a desperate and violent struggle. Every muscle in their powerful bodies is tensed and their tendons stretched, every limb intent on causing pain and damage to the other. The redheaded man sinks his teeth in the dark haired rival, Capocchio. It's as if he were trying to rip his throat out in a display of animalistic malevolence. Draining the life out of his prey, the redhead keeps Capocchio close by grabbing him with his right arm whilst the other draws blood at his ribcage. His right knee drives into Capocchio’s back, leaving his victim at his mercy; something which ceases to exist in this eighth circle of hell.
Dante recoils at the scene and braces himself with his hand on Virgil, who in turn reacts by averting his eyes and holding a cloaked hand to his mouth. Behind them is a blazingly red backdrop that features a daemon. It has a skull-like head and smiles at the gore as its pellucid wings stretch out behind it. An undefined mass of bodies is to the right. Their sin-laden flesh piles upon one another as they're pulled down into the firey depths of a fissure. END ID]

I am so sorry. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling for your family and people. Genocide Biden tweeting his support for genocide while bragging about gun control when my home town Just had the largest mass shooting of the year in this country. He is only in the business of selling murder. I don't know how to respond to something so mindlessly evil. We stand with you everyone in the world with a soul stands with you and Palestine
Thank you. I'm so sorry for the loss of life in your home town, may they all rest in peace. All those people who are in charge are supposed to protect their people but they don't. I think someone once said "once America excused the murders of white American children by mass shooting (sandy hook) that was the end", there's no way America will ever have gun control.
Biden is just the latest in a long line of murderous colonizers who supported and made everything happening today possible. He doesn't give a fuck about peace, none of them did, they only ever cared about their own selfish interests, no thought or compassion for the innocents in their path. They convinced the world not to see Palestinians as humans, because it made it easier for them to keep hurting and killing. Israel wasn't created in a vacuum, UK, US, everyone who helped, their hands are stained with innocent blood. What's happening now isn't new, it's happened all over the world, every single country and people whose homes and lives have been destroyed by colonists greed. We are all connected in our suffering and solidarity.
It shouldn't be this way. The world shouldn't be this way. I always firmly believed that there's good in people, there's good in this world and there is, I know there is, I've seen it. Those medics who are right now asking where they can help people even though they themselves are caught in a rain of hellfire and have lost family members. The journalist whose whole family was targeted and killed going back on the air less than 24 hours after burying his world because he wanted to be the familiar face of truth for so many scared people. The people still out there protesting, giving their voices to the Palestinians who have been silenced. Everyone who boycotted, or donated, who just cared enough to learn the truth. There's good in this world, but it's really hard to see it right now.
I thank you for sharing your compassion with me, but I'm sorry the world is this way. I wish it wasn't.
