I am so sorry. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling for your family and people. Genocide Biden tweeting his support for genocide while bragging about gun control when my home town Just had the largest mass shooting of the year in this country. He is only in the business of selling murder. I don't know how to respond to something so mindlessly evil. We stand with you everyone in the world with a soul stands with you and Palestine
Thank you. I'm so sorry for the loss of life in your home town, may they all rest in peace. All those people who are in charge are supposed to protect their people but they don't. I think someone once said "once America excused the murders of white American children by mass shooting (sandy hook) that was the end", there's no way America will ever have gun control.
Biden is just the latest in a long line of murderous colonizers who supported and made everything happening today possible. He doesn't give a fuck about peace, none of them did, they only ever cared about their own selfish interests, no thought or compassion for the innocents in their path. They convinced the world not to see Palestinians as humans, because it made it easier for them to keep hurting and killing. Israel wasn't created in a vacuum, UK, US, everyone who helped, their hands are stained with innocent blood. What's happening now isn't new, it's happened all over the world, every single country and people whose homes and lives have been destroyed by colonists greed. We are all connected in our suffering and solidarity.
It shouldn't be this way. The world shouldn't be this way. I always firmly believed that there's good in people, there's good in this world and there is, I know there is, I've seen it. Those medics who are right now asking where they can help people even though they themselves are caught in a rain of hellfire and have lost family members. The journalist whose whole family was targeted and killed going back on the air less than 24 hours after burying his world because he wanted to be the familiar face of truth for so many scared people. The people still out there protesting, giving their voices to the Palestinians who have been silenced. Everyone who boycotted, or donated, who just cared enough to learn the truth. There's good in this world, but it's really hard to see it right now.
I thank you for sharing your compassion with me, but I'm sorry the world is this way. I wish it wasn't.

Went on Twitter. Saw a popular Florida beach where i used to go to all the time is trending. For a mass shooting. On Memorial Day. A mass shooting. ANOTHER mass shooting in Florida.
There was one at the high school I went to. There was one at a gay night club in my now town. This looks one in a hometown beach.
When the fuck is even ever going to be enough!? Nope. Instead we get what is well on his way to be a fucking Nazi governor who wants to ban all books except for cis-men white history. Wants to ban queer people. Wants to fight with a mouse and throw a fit and put a prisoner next to a the states BIGGEST source of income. Wants to take away women’s right. Yet. Guns are cool. Guns are great. No gun ban! Let everyone have guns!
And then this happens. Over and over and over and over. It’s not just Florida, I know that. It’s everywhere. When will this stop!? Having several mass shootings a month!? No wonder other countries put a warning and travel ban on coming here.
I shouldn’t have to go out to a shop with my sister with my eyes constantly scanning out surroundings and noting the best places to hide, where to escape, how to get out. Politicians want to give children bulletproof backpacks instead of books and free lunch and Disney movies that are now bam from being shown.
My heart is breaking and it’s so so terrifying that this keeps happening.

Ted Cruz is suggesting that there should be armed police people in schools to “deter mass shootings.” We already have armed police in elementary schools. You wanna know how useful they are?

hey remember the time time lily wrote yet another brown woman as a rapist? i sure as hell do!
https://archive.is/PVVpq https://archive.fo/PsW4l https://archive.fo/ouezW
also branding people for whatever reason lily? yikes i wonder who that reminds me of
Unprovoked Murder - “רֶצַח” on neck Long-Term Subjugation - “עֶבֶד” on cheek Unwarranted Cerebral Rewriting - “מוֹחַ” on forehead Rape -  “A” below eye Unprovoked Mass Murder - “יהוה” on inside of forearm
Lord Ryder chose brands as the punishment because he has a personal hatred of branding, and it was his belief that the punishment ought to be thoroughly unpleasant to give in order to discourage it’s overuse.
it's essentially just a tattoo. branding can be traumatic and can be very scarring... but i hardly see it as the absolute worst punishment that a person can be given, unless the marking is supposed to hurt every time this person even thinks of committing that crime again.
"unprovoked mass murder"... as opposed to "provoked and very much justified mass murder"? unprovoked murder i can understand because self defense exists for a reason, but i'd like to know of this LO what kind of reason there can be for mass murder.
related to that other point... remember when LO had the tendency of blaming all of her detractors of potentially being mass shooters? i don't like the implications of what i just suggested.
which brand does tolrah have?
Tumblr media
An “A” brand under her eye.
~Lily
reminder that this is tolrah.
Tumblr media
also this is sutanu. on the original story she was punished with having her eyes rip out instead of any branding.
Tumblr media
do you all start sensing a pattern or that is just me?
Tumblr media
"she only ever did it once, judge, and she was 30 million years back then, practically a child who couldn't know that raping was bad. we shouldn't ruin the future of this young promising woman forever because of a tiny mistake. she'll fulfill a very light punishment all things considered given that she's immortal, but we hope that she regains her place in society without any major consequences but a tattoo that she could probably cover with make up anyway."

Almost every single mass shooting in the United States has been perpetrated by a white male.
Many of them have been hate crimes.
When will this, statistically the most dangerous demographic, by considered a threat to the American people?

I think the news was doing like a segment or something but the three headlines each time I walked in while making my lunch were
Philly mass shooting
July fourth marred by gun violence- I went to look this one up and there were 16 yesterday
El Paso shooter sentenced today
I’m so fucking tired. And like I know not seeing those things doesn’t mean they didn’t happen but it’s just gonna mess with me the whole day thinking about it.

Tw: mass shooting mention, homophobia mention, violence mention
On June 12, 2016, a man opened fire at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. He killed 49 people and injured 53 more before he was killed by police. I will not include his name in this post, as his memory is not what I wish to honor. I wish to pay respects to the victims of that violent night, and I will be listing their names as a way for anyone who reads this post to remember them. None of them deserved the violence and inhumanity that they experienced.

I am writing this post as a way to honor the victims of that night, and because I wish to remember them. I want to remember that these people lived and breathed within my lifetime. I was 12 years old when the shooting happened, and I remember sitting on the couch and watching the news. I wanted to cry out of grief and fear. But all I could do was sit in silence because my family did not know I was queer and would not have understood if I tried to explain why I was grieving for those people that died. I knew from a very young age that there are people in this world that hate people like me. I knew that I would experience hate. And I knew that violence against people like me happened, but that day was the first day I was scared to be myself, and it was the first day I was scared for everyone like me.
I am older now, and I know that violence and hatred have not gone away, and I don't know if they ever will. I would be lying if I said I don't still feel afraid sometimes, but I know that I am stronger now as a person, and I know that the LGBTQIA+ community is stronger too.
I will list some links to LGBT+ charities and organizations below if anyone would like to donate to honor the memory of those we have lost.
Happy Pride everyone.

The full 77 minute school security video of Uvalde Elementary school has been found. I don’t know if the full thing has been leaked but there is an edited down version.
Here’s a link to it if you really want to see it. It’s disturbing and infuriating.
It’s been edited down to 4 minutes but by the sounds of it the other 73 minutes wouldn’t have mattered. It also describes what’s being captured from outside and how much time has passed between the clips. It censors the children’s screams. It also censors a child who was in the hallway. He looks around the corner and runs away. The shooter doesn’t seem to have noticed him in the footage.
It does clearly show the shooter walking in the school, and he doesn’t enter the first classroom he targets. It also includes a 911 call from a teacher. She describes what the kids first instincts seem to be and it’s pretty upsetting.
There’s more perspectives that’s not being shown, obviously. There are already videos of the parent’s perspective but to my knowledge there’s nothing showing what the cops are doing outside otherwise.

i just can’t stop thinking about a white supremacist that wrote an 80 page plan to shoot up a super market in a predominantly black neighborhood and then proceeded to live stream it on twitch. like my heart really sitting heavy cause in america we know how these mass shootings go when they don’t kill themselves after doing what they did.

i have a feeling the circle of people i interact with here already know and agree with this, but i’m just so tired of thoughts and prayers. i live relatively close the the school shooting in nashville that killed 6 people a few days ago, and the majority of the state’s reaction has been prayer services. these aren’t bad, they’re reverent and very healing to many people. but they cannot be our only response. I have been actively protesting for more gun control since middle school and we continue to regress as the shootings continue. politicians speak at these vigils and say that of course we need to do something, but we shouldn’t talk about that now, and instead just pray. we cannot put this off. people will keep dying, children will keep dying. i am so, so tired of this.
