It is, I do believe, isat-au-fun-time time.
so here's a few ideas
Odile would very much study bigsif form. Dunno how she'd do that, but she would try to understand how exactly it works in terms of craft. Cus the first time was wishcraft breaking the universe obviously. But then, is it body craft? Because body craft typically takes a few months of intense change. Is it still wish craft?
Also, I feel like every time they get emotional and big near a town they just make a beeline towards the town, help with some construction, then disappear as soon as they return to normal, without any explanation
personally id say its still wish craft! leftover from the whole. event. they may not exactly need it to stay with their friends anymore but it lingers anyways, and makes the whole "getting better" thing wayy harder on them.
and sif just booking it to a town to help is a HYSTERICAL mental image. my thoughts were that he'd do the OPPOSITE though actually! as in if it happened near a town immediately try and get further away as to not scare anyone.

Just because they died separately 20 years ago doesn’t mean they couldn’t have kissed at some point maybe don’t give up hope.

You know its true that out of the four stone toa we know Onewa is the exception due to being An Asshat but i think we could focus more on Pouks being the white sheep of a flock of goats. Hes the only one of them who was like, formally employed and working an actual job as a toa. His siblings are just his coworkers. I dont think he knows a sport. He was so glad Pohatu and Hewkii were nothing like Onewa for all of twelve seconds before dreadfully discovering that they are exactly like Onewa, just in previously unimaginable ways, such as the batshit circumstances of their toahood and accidentally kicking a ball into each others face at mach speeds for fun

Isekai but you used to BE someone. You wake up in a healing ward surrounded by people relieved that you’re awake. You watch their faces fall as they realize you don’t know who they are. Isekai but you don’t know this world’s societal norms. Everyone learned this as a kid, why can’t you? Isekai but you can’t be the child, sibling, friend that you’re supposed to. You sleep in someone else’s room, and wear someone else’s clothes, and sit at someone else’s desk. They liked taking care of plants. They liked mixing potions. You don’t know the first thing about either, but you have to try.
It’s never the same. Some people say that you’re cursed. Some say you’re a changeling. You think of the person who’d died in that healing ward, and wonder if you are.

One among many things I love about Dragons Risings writing is that they're so unapologetic about making the original team very cool, but also absolute dorks.
It's just kinda refreshing to me? Like, yeah, sure, Lloyd's the super-awesome Green Ninja who's a descendant of God, Kai could set the world on fire if he wanted, Nya does not hesitate and was the ocean that one time, Zane will casually mention the most insane shit he did on a whim, Cole has a lava and rock monster form, etc, but like...they're also losers. Lloyd gets bullied constantly and tries to explain what a crab is, Kai has so much intelligence but so little wisdom at all given times, Nya has a 'shit happens' attitude as if she is not actively failing through this shit happening, Zane talks to a broom with Pixal's face on it, and Cole has it together the most by being a 9-to-5 dad with a boyfriend who he 100% believed was his power crux.
They're just people, y'know? Saving the world a hundred times over doesn't mean they're not still 20-something nerds who've been stuck doing this since they were teenagers. One cannot erase the time they had bad boy doppelgangers for like two minutes. Or had to raise their teacher. Or had the weirdest relationship drama. Or were huge video game and tech geeks.
And Dragons Rising isn't afraid to let them be that. To acknowledge, yeah, objectively, they're cool as hell, but to also admit that they're just kinda fucking around and finding out. It's a wonder what consistent and likeable characterization can do, who woulda thought?

im not saying all of my posts are bangers, but its hard not to notice that posts i make about other companions easily break 100 notes no sweat, with the upper limit breaching 1k, to outliers of well over 4k, but whenever it's about wyll, it's crickets. i dunno, youre allowed to interact with anything you want to, and this isnt a call to reblog from me, specifically, this is the same for a lot of wyll orientated posts ive seen, but its just odd. and by odd i mean racist.
