Sorry I haven't posted in a literal month. Got a new job, and Have been adjusting to the work enviornment and working out my hours and schedule. I intended to do Goretober this year, but Alas, that didn't really happen. Hopefully though, My schedule gets more manageable. I did however make this one goretober piece :P Pastel Gore. We occupy the campus in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Across the world, campus occupations are spreading like wildfire from the US to Switzerland, Denmark and now Sweden

Unlike during the war in Ukraine, Umeå University has neither raised the Palestinian flag nor made any statement of support for the Palestinian people. Meanwhile, students raising awareness on campus about the genocide have been driven away by security guards.

Because of the student occupations in the US, Biden has had to stop arms shipments to Israel - as the protests have gotten too large to ignore. In Sweden, the Swedish Armed Forces signed a billion-dollar deal with Elbit Systems, which supplies Israel with drones used to kill children in Gaza. We can and we must stop the war machine, both in Sweden and in the world.

Ett sätt att sätta press på staten Israel är att bojkotta israeliska varor. Köp inte israelisk frukt, grönsaker eller andra produkter som börjar med streckkoden, det så kallade EAN-nummeret, 729

Semestra inte i lsrael. Kräv ett stopp för allt ekonomiskt, politiskt, kulturellt och idrottsligt utbyte med Israel till dess att det palestinska folkets rättigheter är uppfylla.

Bojkott är en ickevåldsmetod som kan göra skillnad, något omvärlden visade när apartheid i Sydafrika pressades bort."

Do not buy Isreali items

One way to put pressure on the state of Israel is to boycott Israeli goods. Do not buy Israeli fruit, vegetables or other products that begin with the barcode, the so-called EAN number, 729

Do not vaction in Isreal. Demand an end to all economic, political, cultural, and sport exchange with Isreal until the Palestinian population rights are awarded.

Boycotting is a peaceful act that can make a difference, something the world showed when apartheid in South Africa was pushed away."

I start reading I want you to say when you first post about it . I love it so much it's like a kdrama . Like a full rollercoaster ride with emotions.

But I m not able to read 12 chapter. Things are hard rn for me . I just diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I start writing too but I can't complete because things were hard because of disorder . There’s no real proper translation of the song traditonally sung to celebrate Norway’s Constitution Day on 17 May.

‘Ja vi elsker’ has a long history as a nationalist song and a song of protest. In the last days of the Norway-Sweden union, Swedish socialists sang the song in support of the Norwegian right to leave the union.

During World War II, Norwegian resistance members used the song. It had originally been used by Nazi collaborators as a propaganda song, but the regime eventually banned its use because of its connection to the resistance.

Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson began to write the lyrics of what he intended to be a patriotic song around 1859. An accompanying melody was written by his cousin Rikard Nordraak sometime during the winter of 1863-1864. The song's first public performance took place on 17 May 1864, to mark the 50th anniversary of the Norwegian constitution.

Over many decades, Ja vi elsker eventually replaced Sønner av Norge (Sons of Norway) as the de-facto national song, but both were used for long periods of time until the early 20th century. In December 2019, Norway officially adopted Ja vi elsker as the official national anthem.

While Ja vi elsker is commonly heard at sporting events and on the constitution day, there are other national songs used in various situations. Sønner av Norge had the title of national song for many decades. Since 2011, Ole Paus' Mitt lille land has been referred to as a “new national song” and it was used several times in connection with the 2011 terror attacks.

There is also an unofficial Royal anthem known as Kongesangen, or the King's song. It is played alongside Ja vi elsker on 17 May. Brits will instantly recognise it as the melody is the same as the British national anthem, God Save the Queen.
