social media created this idea of " improving ourselves" as if we are projects.i see so many people talking about constant work,healing etc and honestly i always thought that it doesn't sound good,being a human is already sometimes exhausting so imagine turning ourselves into a project ,that's even worst.we're not a work or a masterpiece thats needs to be perfected and concluded,we're literally humans.i feel like social media brainwash us so much we don't even realize it ,i remember i posted about how i cut off al medias and honestly i went back just because life lately has been extremely boring.
also the whole thing about being productive?? like wtf we aren't machines
btw yes ofc we should always do our best,take care of ourselves etc. but that's not the point,i feel like theres this obsession of perfecting our selves constantly as if it's going to have an end.
