I actually had to do a bit of research since this is not a term that is commonly used nowadays. Apparently, the first entry of this word in the dictionary dates from the 18th century. The current entry defines it as ‘homosexual, especially for males; usually derogatory’.

My guess is that the origin of this is that it is meant to describe someone who inverts the natural order or that goes against nature.

I am not sure if back in the day it was considered an insult like it is now or if it was a neutral, more polite word than sarasa, for example, which Jesús used in today’s episode as well, but the implications are not the best.

Introducing Hades’ Exes: Leuke and Minthe

Leuke

Leuke was Hades’ first girlfriend

She’s a oceanid nymph (and part dryad on her mother’s side)

She lives in a small cove on the coast of Athens

She broke up with Hades when he started spending more time running the Underworld than spending time with her

She has the ability to turn into a white poplar tree, but only when she’s near a body of water (that’s the “part dryad on her mother’s side”)

She’s kind of an “air head” and is a little ditzy

Because of her being so dimwitted, she’s easily manipulated

She’s actually pretty nice, but she also likes to speak her mind, even when it’s rude or mean

She kinda likes Persephone and doesn’t mind her being with Hades

Lives behind a waterfall in an Athenian grove

She’s a naiad nymph

She has the ability to turn into a mint plant

She also naturally smells like mint

Her relationship with Hades didn’t last very long because he found they weren’t compatible and he kinda got bored of her (of course, this was back when Hades was romantically immature and didn’t care about lasting relationships)

Hades told her he wanted to see other people and she agreed, but she figured he’d come back for her (he obviously never did and that upset her)

She’s honestly never gotten over Hades (despite what she says)

She’s very bossy, mean, shallow, and jealous

She’s also very greedy and will do whatever is asked as long as she gets something out of it

She doesn’t like Persephone and thinks she’s a total downgrade for Hades compared to her

I really enjoyed seeing ppls opinions on the first round of the TAG poll. We all love TAG for different reasons and love different characters and it's just rly cool to see how people pick one episode over another. Anyway, it made me wonder how many GIFs I've made per episode to see if that number reflects my personal feelings and some really surprised me. And some really didn't lmao.

Looking at the figures, I think season two looks like my favourite, followed by season one and then season three. Which I guess is probably accurate. Season two feels like the most consistant season to me, whereas season one takes a while to find its identity. And then season three...is....just...the highs were the highest and the lows were...well, you'd need TB4 or the Mole to reach them.

God, TAG deserved another season.

Townes shed today! She did a really good job, and all that's left is that little spot between her eyes. I measured her shed and she's roughly 3' 6" (1.06m) give or take an inch. She's now 3 inches wide at her largest part, and is around 3 years old (a few months older but we weren't told her exact bday).
