Random Skylanders Headcanon:
The Skylanders - ESPECIALLY AIR SKYLANDERS - and their allies helping out a Portal Master who’s afraid of heights.
I don’t know if there’s any canon Portal Master that’s scared of heights, but it’s sweet to imagine everyone helping out their Portal Master to face their fears.
Like some skylanders and/or their allies giving some validation and encouragement to conquer them, some offering to protecting you and/or accompanying you, and some even willing to even train you to help overcome your fear step by step (it’ll take a while, but it’s worth a try :D)! And there’s some willing to bring the Portal Master on adventures that involve their fear to help (they have good intentions, just doing it in a extreme way! They still do their best to help and protect the Portal Master, but also giving them more freedom to try and overcome it!)
#the only thing that’s keeping me from going to Skylands and kicking butt is my fear of heights#skylanders#portal master#skylanders portal master#skylanders headcanon#headcanon#skylander headcanon#this can also apply to any fear too#idk who would be who#in the scenarios in each case for helping the portal master#so y’all can reblog/comment and whatnot of any Skylander or ally with their headcanon with helping their Portal Master#tho I do imagine that Flynn and Boom Jet are the last one I made in mind /pos /lh#they mean well lol#also this headcanon has been in the drafts and my mind for a while so I thought of putting it out

Flavor Text Highlights
So, one thing that I did two years ago (and have kept updated since) on twitter was my flavor text thread, where I went through each set in Magic history and picked the top 4 (or, for some exceptional cases, 8) best pieces of flavor text in my opinion.
Since then, I have regreted some choices and very much dislike the fact I can't edit the original tweets to reflect changes on the rules I followed for card selection... So I might as well use Tumblr as the place to correct all that.
Every day from now on, I will re-post a set from the list until I catch up to it, then eventually update it as new magic sets come out. The rules for selection can be seen after the linebreak below (as well as a full list of sets I've already gone through, with links). The first one can be found here.
1- Categorization
I will always try to select a diverse list of cards so as to fill the following 4 categories of flavor text types:
Cool - Boasts and descriptions that serve to make the subject matter of the card seem powerful and/or interesting.
Funny - Dialogue, descriptions or epigrams meant to get a laugh out of you
Worldbuilding - Flavor text whose biggest strength comes not from what it says on its own, but how it helps build upon either the world the set takes place in or the story of the set in question
Emotional - This one could conceivably be separated in two whole categories, but it encompasses cards that would fill the same niche as the "Cool" category but with a specific focus on either sadness or horror.
However, there will be situations where there might be a number of good flavor texts within a certain category while another is found lacking of any truly great options. In such scenarios, I will simply remove one (and in rare cases more) of the categories and repeat one of the remaining options. For an extreme example, the first Un-sets barely had any non-Funny options, so when picking cards from those sets most/all of the picks will be from the Funny category.
2- Card Selection
Cards will be reviewed only if they have new flavor text (using scryfall's "new:flavor" filter) and only if it's original flavor text (aka no real world references or quotes from literature) while sets will either be reviewed alone or grouped up depending on the amount of eligible cards in the set. Although I don't have a hard cut-off point for how many new flavor texts a set needs to be reviewed alone, the general range is around 150.
For sets that don't reach that number, they will either be bundled with an associated set (i.e. reviewing Commander precons with their associated Standard set) or bundled with a lot of other smaller products until a suitable number is reached (i.e. bundling all early Masters sets and Duel Decks together, since the amount of new flavor texts in those products is very low).
2.1 - Cycles
For some sets, a collection of cards (usually a cycle) will have flavor texts that work together, expand on each other or combine into a single theme. If said interaction is particularly good or if there isn't already a good flavor text that can stand up on its own, a cycle might be picked for a specific entry. Below, I will try to set up a list of every post for this, in order:

Little snippet of Shattered Earth AU bc I changed a LOT.
Warning for cursing!! (and for Juno acting like a boomer /j, "back in my day" - Juno voice)
Juno's fist slammed into the crate she used as a desk, damaging the already-worn wood with a loud crack. "Damn it all," She hisses, sitting back down in her chair, the leather tattered and torn.
She'd gone through every simulation, every scenario, and no matter what plan she thought up, she just.. Couldn't think of any way to beat those horrid Portal Masters. She'd tried everything, read every Portal Master Book she could get her hands on, there was only one left. Juno idly flips through the book, annoyed. Half of the nonsense wasn't even useful to her as she possessed no magic of her own, and she begins to get more and more irritated until a certain page catches her eye, her focus immediately drawn to an illustration of an ornate mask, which even in the drawing seemed to radiate with immense energy. "The Mask of Power..." She mumbles, her eyes narrowing as she scans the page. She could've sworn she's heard that name before.. But where? The nagging notion that she knows that name only grows as she reads the decision. Each piece associated with its own element.. Huh. Juno flips through her collection of old newspapers before she finds it. "The Mask of Power.." She skims over the article, her teeth gritting in irritation as she reads about what happens. "Damn it all to the abyss!" She growls once more, slumping back into her chair. "Of course that damn Kaos would get the thing destroyed-" She stares down at the picture in the article before glancing over to the picture in her book. "Wait.." She counts the pieces. "That's not..?" The picture of the mask used in the article is missing two pieces, the horns representing light and dark that stand out so prominently in the pages of the book. Did Kaos skip a step?
Sitting up straight again, she glances back at the page. Sounds like the mask gains power as more pieces are connected, but it's not entirely unusable if one or two pieces are missing. "Ok.." She mumbles, taking a look at the book again. ".. So.. Maybe two pieces are left." Not entirely helpful, as even if there are two undestroyed pieces, it won't be enough to beat a Portal Master. The idea of having at least a little magic at her disposal does sound decent, but perhaps not worth scouring the Skylands for them. She's about to flip the page, but her eyes land on something interesting. "'A destroyed Mask of Power can be reassembled if at least two of the pieces remain intact'...?" She leans back once more in her chair.
".. Interesting."
Juno turns to her phone, a shitty rotary phone she found barely working in some antique shop maybe four months ago- it'd do for now, she hated all this damn technology anyways. Felt like she could hear the electricity in those annoying wires she tripped over every other day. She'd have to find some way around that.
More important than Juno's hatred for the niceties of the greater Skylands was another missed call, one of many from the same number. Nightshade, a famous thief, had been pestering her for weeks, calling nonstop since he first learned of her plan to take down the Portal Masters. 'Mabu have to stick together, don't they?' He had said. Apparently the guy had some issues with the Skylanders, nothing Juno cared to listen to.
In any case, she had bothered to research the guy, considering how hard it was to find people willing to work with her in her efforts. Nightshade seemed mostly like a stuck-up pest who stole for the fun of it, already coming from a rich family. His only skill seemed to be his stealth, which Juno had really no use for at the moment.
Or did she..? She glances back at the news article. If anyone had any idea where those last two pieces of the mask were, it was Kaos, and even for all his idiocy, he'd be smart enough to write it down somewhere in his castle. Unfortunately, with her stature, Juno was.. Not built for stealth. Not in that setting at least. Sure, Juno could stalk through the grass, but sneaking through a castle- or any building for that matter- was a different issue entirely.
Now, Juno admittedly knew very little about Nightshade, but if he was really as good at his job as her research led her to believe..
Perhaps the spoiled brat had a use, after all.

Like Days Of Old
"I think I'll take Peter out for the day." Stephen tells Tony as he starts the coffee for him.
Tony looks over from feeding Lucy, and huffs when the spoon is smacked out of his hand in her excitement to slam her hands on the highchair's tray. "Oh yeah? What's the occasion?"
"None really. I just figured he hasn't gotten the attention he was used to now that we have the other kids." The sorcerer replies. "I think I'll put aside a day for each one every once in a while."
"Hmm...maybe I should do something like that too." Tony ponders and then winces. "We've been so wrapped up with everything, I'm sure the kids feel a little neglected."
Stephen pours the coffee into Tony's favorite mug, a black one painted with red and gold that Diana made for him, and takes it over to his husband. He was sure that the kids weren't feeling neglected, but then again, no matter how comfortable they were with telling their parents everything, telling them that they felt ignored was not one of those things. Every single one of their boys were insecure about asking for attention and maybe even felt like they were too old to do so. The boys felt lucky enough that Tony and Stephen took them in when they had nowhere else to go and that was enough for them.
Stephen sighs. "You might be right. The boys don't easily communicate those needs with us...even Harley. The girls on the other hand have no problem doing so. We've just been so busy lately."
"Your idea is a good one. We'll start setting some time aside for some one on one." Tony says. "Starting today."
Stephen sips the tea he had brewed while waiting for the coffee and mentally prepared for the day with Peter. Assuming the teen didn't have other plans. He didn't think so as Peter hadn't said anything recently. Going to Mr. Delmar's for lunch was a must but besides that, he could probably have Peter decide what he wanted to do.
"Victor, could you have Peter come here please?" Stephen finally requests his AI.
"Yes, Doctor."
It took a few minutes but Peter finally came out of his room drying his hair with his towel and only sporting some basketball shorts. Clearly he had been in the shower and put on the bare minimum to see why Stephen needed him.
"Need something?" Peter asks when he drops the towel a bit to look at Stephen.
"I thought maybe you and I can spend the day together. Just the two of us." The sorcerer replies and Peter looks at him in surprise.
"Wait. Really? What about your Sorcerer Supreme duties...and Val?"
Stephen chuckles. "Nothing needs my immediate attention and I'm sure William wouldn't mind helping your father with Valerie. Or Cassie for that matter."
"What would we do?"
"Whatever you want. Delmar's for lunch of course."
Peter grins. "I'll finish getting ready!" He disappears back into his room and Tony raises an eyebrow.
"Yikes. If that's how he reacted, we've really been slacking."
"We're doing something about it now." Stephen reassures him.
He finishes his tea and takes it to the sink to rinse before putting his mug in the dishwasher, and raises his own eyebrow when Lucy smacks the spoon out of Tony's hand again. It wasn't that she was fighting the food being given to her, she just really liked the apple and blueberry puree and Tony couldn't seem to feed it to her fast enough. The small flex of his fingers was enough indication that Tony's arm was bothering him today and it made Stephen frown.
"Ask the twins to help you today. Cassie too if she's free." Stephen says. "Try not to carry Lucy around too much today."
Tony sighs. "Honey, I'll be fine. Worst case scenario, I get Porcupine."
"He's at the station right now. You can always call me if it flares up, or if it can wait, ask Bruce to get your sleeve-"
"I'll be okay. I'll get the wonder twins and Miss Sass up here to help." Tony huffs fondly. "Maybe even Nat. I promise the tower will still be standing when you two get back. No promises about the kids being in one piece though."
Stephen snorts. He knew Tony was joking and that everything would be fine...he really was just too far deep into this role. Being a doctor didn't help things either. Stephen would suffer through pain and sickness to take care of his kids if anything happened, and he proved that when the boys and Diana came down with a cold. It was a pretty bad strain to get Peter and Thomas sick too, and of course Stephen caught it while taking care of the kids, and he powered through it to continue taking care of them. He nearly collapsed doing so and Tony almost had to manhandle him to bed.
"Oh. One more thing." Stephen says as Peter joins him. "Don't let Thomas and Pietro run around together."
"Don't worry Duchess. We're on the same page. I don't want another tornado either." Tony huffs. "I'll glue their feet to the floor if I have to."
"Are we going now?" Peter asks.
Stephen nods. "Yes, let's go before your sister finds out I'm leaving. We can discuss what we're going to do while we walk."
Peter nods and heads for the elevator, followed by Stephen once he kisses his husband goodbye. Athena walked over with the intent to leave with him but the sorcerer shook his head.
"No, Athena. Stay here and help with the babies." Athena whines and nudges his hand.
"I don't mind if she comes." Peter shrugs. "Levi is still here. It likes nannying."
Levi vibrates in its excitement when Peter mentions it and Stephen rolls his eyes when it flies over to grab a napkin and help clean Lucy's face. It was a great relic and liked being useful, but Stephen never would have thought it would help like this. Not even when they had this many kids. Most of the time, Stephen didn't even tell it what to do. In a manner of speaking, Levi had a mind of its own and decided nannying was what it wanted to do when it wasn't helping its master in battle. Wong always joked that if the Ancient One was still alive and had seen this, she'd probably be somewhat offended. She'd probably say something like relics weren't to be used for everyday use or whatever.
"Alright," Stephen relents. "Go get your vest." He tells the wolf.
And she did. She went straight for the hook that held her vest and leash, used the wall to stand up and retrieve them, and then carried them back over to Stephen. It was easy to put the vest on her, but her leash he held for now. It wasn't necessary but he did have it on him in case Athena made people uncomfortable when they didn't see a leash. It fortunately hadn't been a problem yet.
"We'll be back later." Stephen tells Tony.
"You both have your phones and suits?"
"Yeah, you can track our every move Dad." Peter rolls his eyes as Stephen joins him on the elevator.
"Don't sass your father!" Tony calls out just before the elevator closes.
Stephen chuckles. "So, any ideas what you want to do today?"
"Hmmm…" Peter folds his arms and tilts his head as he ponders. "Oh! Can we swing by that bakery on our way home? You know the one we practically bought out a few years ago? Is it still there?"
"I think so. I don't think the owners were snap victims and their bakery managed to survive the five years. Which I'm not totally surprised, I'm sure people needed something to keep them going." Stephen says.
"That's a depressing thought."
"Wait...did you even have breakfast yet?" Stephen asks and when Peter looks at him sheepishly, he snorts. "Right, maybe we should grab some food."
So that was the first thing they did, they walked to a nearby cafe and ordered something they could eat as they walked around the city. Despite their intentions though, they did stop at a park to sit down and eat before they continued on. Peter decided he wanted to go somewhere to get Cassie a gift, reassuring Stephen that he wanted his opinion and since he couldn't make up his mind, they ended up going to the mall. By portal of course. That was a little too much of a walk.
"Oh! Let's stop in there!" Peter points to a store with candles and Stephen frowns.
"Are you sure? Usually something like this gives you sensory overload."
"On second thought…" Peter looks down at Athena, who was whining a little. "I don't want to torture Athena too. It does smell kinda strong and we're not even in the store."
"How about one of those edible flower kits?" Stephen suggests. "She likes baking and they would be a nice decoration that can be eaten."
Peter perks up. "Do they sell something like that here somewhere?"
"I'm sure there is."
Stephen chuckles when Peter looks for a nearby map of the mall. Athena sits next to Stephen when they join him at the map, and the two point out different possible locations that might sell what they're looking for. Stephen was never worried about his wolf attacking anyone, as she only did so when he commanded her or if someone attacked the family. A lot of those aggressive instincts were practically non-existent. Not that they actually were, she was still born and raised in the wild, but Stephen was pretty sure that when he communicated the rules of their home and what to expect, it was a big help. She was simply a protector of Stephen, of the family.
She was a companion that Stephen adored.
"Alright I think the closest store was this way," Stephen says as he points past the map.
"I think she said something about needing new food coloring and piping bags too." Peter adds as they make their way to the first store.
Stephen laughs. "We're out and about to spend time together and you want to shop for your girlfriend."
"Oh...uh...we don't have to--"
"Relax. I was just teasing you. We're still spending time together and this is what you want to do right?"
Peter shrugs. "Yeah. I like making her happy."
Stephen couldn't help the smile that graced his features. Peter was always thinking of others, but hearing him admit something like that? He'd certainly matured these past couple of years. He was still the adorable, nerdy dork that he met what seemed like three years ago, but he was leaving the nest so to speak. He and Harley didn't seem inclined to move out, which was just fine with Stephen and Tony, but that was because they wanted to stay with the family. To help them and be around...it made Stephen wonder if that would be the case for Thomas and William too.
"Hey, wanna get something for you and Dad here?" Peter asks, interrupting Stephen's train of thought.
When the sorcerer looks in the direction his son is pointing, he sputters when he finds an adult store.
"No. Absolutely not. I'll never leave the room if I do and I can't believe that you of all people are suggesting that!" Stephen grabs the back of Peter's shirt and drags the laughing teen away.
"Don't tell me you guys get it on with Lucy in the room!"
"When you have seven kids, you take what you can get." Stephen mumbles.
"Not even a pair of lacy underwear?" Peter cackles at the mortification on Stephen's face.
"Just what do you think I--no. No. Don't answer that." Stephen sighs. "This is the thanks I get for rearing children. Sass, sarcasm, and belittling."
"Sheesh. I thought Dia got her drama from Dad." Peter rolls his eyes and Stephen whaps the back of his head in response.
They finally found the first store, but after some browsing and asking an employee, they didn't find what they were looking for. They didn't find it in the second store either. The third time truly was the charm because Peter found everything he wanted to get Cassie, including the flower kits, and he made his purchase before they decided on walking around the rest of the mall. Stephen stopped by one of the shoe stores to get Thomas a couple of new pairs of sneakers that would undoubtedly be worn through by the end of the month, then the craft store for some things for the girls, a game store for a game Harley wanted but didn't have the time to get, and then finally a toy store. Stephen went straight for the puzzles and picked out a couple of jigsaws with about three thousand pieces in each that he and William could work on.
By then, they were ready to stop by the bakery and head home, but Peter suddenly stopped and Stephen didn't notice until he was a few feet away. When he turned to find out where the teen had gone, he found him in front of a jeweler's and looking through the window.
"Peter?" Stephen asks when he rejoins him. When he doesn't get an answer, he follows his gaze and ends up smiling again. There were engagement rings on display. "How long have you been thinking about it?"
"I...a few months now." Peter admits. "I really love her."
"What's stopping you?"
"I want to get her parents permission first."
Stephen pats his shoulder. "You'll get it Spiderling. They'll probably give you grief for a little while first."
"I'm honestly a little worried that Quill might kill me." Peter groans as they step away to a secluded spot and Stephen opens a portal to the bakery.
"He won't. He knows I'll find a way to make his death permanent if he tries."
Peter laughs. "Thanks. Really. For today too."
"Well, I figured things have been crazy and your father and I need to start putting time aside for you and your siblings. Like this."
Peter nods in understanding and ends up with all of the bags so Stephen can open portals, buy out half the bakery again, open another portal to Mr. Delmar's to pick up lunch for everyone, and get them back home. When they stepped through the portal home, Stephen froze. The penthouse was covered in splotches of paint and it was clear that he caught the culprits in the middle of trying to clean up the mess they made. Namely Harley, Thomas, Diana...and Tony.
"Where's Lucy and Valerie?" Stephen asks curtly and the other four cringe.
"Cassie and William are upstairs with them." Thomas responds.
"Why is there paint everywhere?"
"It was an accident!" Tony says. "Sort of? Thomas and Harley wanted to see if he could run and catch a bowl of paint that Harley and Diana threw to see if he could do it without spilling any."
Stephen takes a deep breath and exhales loudly. "First, that isn't an accident. Second, it obviously didn't work, and third...you couldn't have them at least do it downstairs on the actual art floor?"
"It was already too late when I came in on it." Tony says. "I already chewed them out."
"As punishment I'll have to go return the lacy underwear." Stephen says and Tony's eyes get comically wide and Peter bursts into laughter.
"Wait, no! Why am I being punished?! Lemme see!"
Stephen only smirked in response and winked at Peter who was still doubled over laughing. Tony soon discovered though that there unfortunately had been no such purchase in the first place. The fact that he was disappointed made Stephen wonder just how much Tony might have liked them.
Harley and Thomas on the other hand gave Stephen their own mortified looks for just the suggestion.

Grab your friends and escape to another world!
You've found an enchanted portal — a transition point — between worlds. The portal, called a Crossing, takes you to a world you thought only existed in novels and films: a magical land where dragons roam the skies, orcs and hobgoblins terrorize weary travelers, and unicorns prance through the forest. It is a world where humans join other peoples such as elves, trolls, dwarves, changelings, and the dreaded creatures who steal the night. It is a world of fantasy — of imagination.
It is the Realm.
It is Legendlore.
Drawn from The Realm and Legendlore comics, the Legendlore RPG will whisk characters from our world to a magical fantasy realm filled with dragons, orcs, unicorns, and hobgoblins. With over 60 comics published covering three volume runs, The Realm and Legendlore combined became one of Caliber Comics' most critically acclaimed series.
In the Legendlore RPG, players can choose to play as themselves or create a new character employing the 5th Edition Fantasy Rules System.
Tired of being stuck at home? Are you ready for a magical adventure? Here's your chance to find a Crossing and have some adventure in The Realm!
Legendlore was originally a comic called The Realm, first published by Arrow Comics in 1986 and since procured by Caliber Comics, about four people who fall through a Crossing into the Realm. The Realm is home to fantasy creatures from elves to dragons, and the characters discover they too have ‘fantasy powers’ – the jock becomes a Fighter, while the bookish one becomes a Wizard, and so on. They go on adventures and some of them eventually find their way back to Earth.
This is the basic premise of the Legendlore RPG. You cross into the Realm, where you become a hairfoot Bard, or maybe an elven Sorcerer. You can change any characteristics you like. For example if you have hay fever and glasses, you choose if your Legendlore self keeps or drops those. Your identity might not always match your outward physique, but your Legendlore character does. We've also updated the 1980s setting so Realmborn characters represent all ethnicities, genders, and sexualities. No one in the Realm will bat an eyelash at your agender panromantic self.
You are not the first from Earth to encounter the nations of the Realm. The Realm has had Visitors before, and each time these Visitors left something with the Realm: whether it be a new word, or even accidental technology. Some Visitors became stranded and formed their own communities out of an immediate need for survival. These communities can still be found in the Realm, though they tend to be pockets of isolation and have their own customs and concerns even if they are within the boundaries of other nations. Sharp-eyed Visitors may recognize aspects of their world turned into phenomena: in the depths of a forest, they may encounter a glider plane abandoned with vines anchoring it to the soil, its metal rusting, its markings faded under a strange sun its paint was never meant to withstand. These phenomena are considered Strange Things throughout the Realm.
Just as Earth had impacts on the Realm, the Realm can change a Visitor from Earth. Legends are the destinies Visitors may have when Crossing into the Realm: it is part of their Crossing, part of their destiny.
Each character has their own Legend, which affects the story and is built up through relatively minor actions as well as through more obviously weighty choices. Legends are things like “Avatar of Peace” or “Regent of Dragons” or “Heir to the Mountain”: they represent the destiny of You (your character) and mechanically can resemble backgrounds. Perhaps the You you want to be in the Realm is trying to not spread any more violence than absolutely necessary for self-defense. As a Player, you might want their destiny to reflect that commitment to peaceful solutions and to avoid continuing cycles of revenge and violence: thus the “Avatar of Peace” Legend. The seeds of that legend are there, but how does that affect You throughout Your adventures in the Realm?
Curious to hear what a session may sound like? Click HERE to crossover to an Actual Play recording, where three roleplayers are teleported into the Realm, where they must try to find a way home. Hitching a ride thrusts them straight into a missing person’s case, but all is not what it seems. ‘Into the Realm’ is an introduction to Legendlore, and used as an example of a campaign opening.
The Legendlore RPG setting is currently available as a "Rough Draft" text-only PDF file from DriveThruRPG.com. We want to take the next steps to turn this into fully-illustrated, beautifully laid out PDF sourcebook that befits the legacy of this setting.
We also want to take it a step further - creating an 8.5" x 11" hardcover with a beautifully designed, striking cover image printed in four color gloss, with more than 200 full-color pages and endpapers on high-quality paper stock. Exceptional funding may allow us to add Stretch Goals that further develop the setting and provide additional materials for play, We also want to get at least one print run into traditional distribution and available for sale at game and hobby stores.
The Legendlore RPG uses rules based on the 5th Edition of the world's most popular fantasy tabletop RPG system, and comprises three sections (Player, Setting, Game Master) including an introductory adventure!
During this campaign, we will feature spotlight previews of various sections to highlight the different aspects of The Realm and the Legendlore setting. You can download the entire rough manuscript for free from DriveThruRPG.com now!
The primary goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to create the best version of the Legendlore RPG possible. Your support allows us to fund the best production, use the most appropriate components, and possibly even contract more art for the core book. We hope to not only deliver a beautiful book to all of our backers but, as noted, also fund at least one print run to be sold through distribution and into book and hobby stores that are so vital to our community.
Beyond that main goal, we hope to gain additional funding to explore more of the world of Legendlore, possibly expanding into rules companions and other Game Master and player tools and accessories. The greater our funding for this project, the more resources we can use to explore these scenarios and challenges.
Beyond those campaign-specific goals, we hope to do what our games have always done — build a community invested in each other's stories and shared imaginations. Every person who participates is joining with the goal of bringing this game into the world, and that common goal is a powerful binding element that we can't help but want to share. When you back this project, you join us on this journey and become part of our fantasy family.
Kickstarter campaign ends: Thu, July 2 2020 7:00 PM BST

Talks Machina Summary, Episode 69
So of course I missed the episode right after the break. Clearly more free time has not improved my scheduling habits. Still, for those who missed it or don't have the time...
There will be a Critcal Role panel at the San Diego Comic Con on Saturday, July 20th at 4 PM in room 6BCF. If you can't make the panel, they'll be broadcasting it in place of Talks Machina on Tuesday, July 23rd.
Matt and Dani have the same taste in drinks.
The gang is taking a few weeks off from Game Ranch and will return Tuesday, August 6th in order for... routine cleaning.
The proceeds from the don't forget to love each other shirt are being donated to OutRight International during the month of July.
Yasha could have beaten the DC for Obann's charm. Matt had multiple exit strategies planned to explain Yasha's absence if she had beaten it by potentially revealing more backstory stuff so she could go on a personal pilgrimage type journey. Unfortunately, the dice were not in her favor.
Summoning the demon was not a last ditch effort for Fjord that he was reluctant to do, his move was calculated to prevent Obann from reading the tablet. Fjord still considers the demon summoning thing to be in his wheelhouse.
Gigglefist
The Laughing Hand was not meant to be an unwinnable encounter, but it was meant to be extremely difficult. The odds were very stacked against them, especially if Yasha turned. It was more likely than not that the group would have to run.
Fjord's previous experiences with betrayal have not shaped his opinions of Yasha turning in her favor. He doesn't trust her anymore. She's not coming back to the group without a fight.
As of now, Yasha is basically an NPC.
If the group had not taken a long rest, Obann was still in the vicinity. The group would have been less prepared. Obann was letting the group do all of the work for him. He used his wings to fly out of sight of the group in the bridge chamber as the group was sleeping.
Travis was preparing himself for Fjord to die when things went bad. Once he got out, he saw that most of the rest of the group was still getting destroyed and tried to be a team player. If not for relentless endurance and the M9, he'd be dead.
That moment was also when Dani started sobbing.
There was a chance the M9 could have stopped the ritual that raised the Laughing Hand. If they had, Obann would have tried to retrieve the tablet and fled with Yasha if his attempts failed.
Travis doesn't have a backup character if Fjord dies. Worst case scenario, he'll bring Chutney into the game.
Fjord feels closer to Beau than he ever has and feels awesome knowing the M9 would risk themselves for his sake. It cemented the fact that the group cares for him.
Fjord doesn't know how willing Fjord would be to make the same sacrifice Beau made to get him out, but Fjord isn't the type to stand aside and let things play out (and Travis didn't want to be THAT player), so Fjord most likely is willing to do the same. It was suprising for him as a character.
According to Travis, episodes like this help establish a debt (like Fjord now owes to Caleb and Beau). Up until now, Fjord thought he never really mattered that much. In his mind, he would have to be sacrificed if he was no longer able to fulfill his role for the group. But the whole party was willing to help him out of the situation. It adds weight and permanence to the group dynamic.
According to Matt, this episode was the result of the first extensive dungeon crawl the group has had to endure. This is mostly because travel takes much more time in the midrange levels, so the Barbed Fields and the dungeon all built up to this encounter. As a DM, this type of thing is difficult because he needs to keep the players engaged and avoid making it repetitive or boring. There is only so much you can build as dungeon master before you have to look at what you have and ask "will it be fun?". He was hoping it would be fun and not seem too unfair for the group. There's a difference between a worthy challenge and the party being annihilated.
Matt didn't expect the party to kill Obann.
Matt thought it was funny that the party didn't even mention the demon portals when Obann asked why they followed him.
Travis has a realization.
Ashly Burch remembers Molly's death.
After Yasha said "I heard you," Fjord thought that it was either Yasha's true flower-pressing self trying to speak to him, or that Yasha's true self was actually evil and her words meant something like "I heard you, but I don't care." Fjord thinks it's the second option.
Obann didn't know who Jester was, but he assumed given the circumstances that whoever was contacting him didn't understand what he was doing. The information was off, he knew someone was after them, and (even if he was wrong) it would have been a good power play.
The Angel of Irons cult backstory was the result of Ashley telling Matt about Yasha's memory loss and leaving the rest up to him.
Fjord wil be more harsh in his feelings about Yasha both because he wasted his last spell trying to save her and because he almost died at her hand.
Matt most looked forward to the dungeon's bridge challenge. He also was excited for the mirror chamber.
Fjord is more worried about the Bright Queen's reaction than about releasing the Laughing Hand. Both Fjord and Travis think the Laughing Hand could be contained by others. Right now, the group is on borrowed time with the Bright Queen that may soon be up.
Fjord isn't still upset with Caleb about giving up the dodecahedron. Fjord has control issues.
There was no trick to the zombie hearts: it was purely random. Some of them had enchanted hearts and some of them didn't. For each one that died, Matt rolled a d6. If it was a 1 or a 2, the zombie had one. There was only one turn to get it to the pedestal, otherwise it would turn back into a regular heart.
Fjord is stoked about traveling to the anvil and will be lobbying to go there to forge a stronger connection with the Wild Mother.
Late critrole stats
Yasha delt 160 damage, 110 of which was to her own party.
Fjord got his 50th natural 20 in the form of a wisdom save to get across the bridge.

The Missing Month Chapter 3
Loops 8-15
This is a fanfiction that explores what happened during the first 30 time loops that Jim was in in the episode D'Aja Vu.
Ao3 - Fanfiction
8.
“We need to do what now?” Toby asked.
“We need to cancel the science fair,” Jim repeated.
He was making a croque madame for each of his friends this morning. Just because he was stuck going through the same day did not mean he was going to make the same breakfast each time. He was beginning to contemplate trying some of the more interesting recipes he’d never had the nerve to try.
“What for? I get all the time loop stuff, but how do a bunch of fake volcanos tie into this?”
“When we tried to catch Porgon last time people saw him and saw me don my armor. What good is stopping Porgon if we expose trolls to the world and end up getting taken in by the FBI in the process?”
“Ah. Right.” Toby’s face lit up as Jim presented him with his sandwich. “So any ideas?”
Jim sighed.
“Well I would try to find some way to convince Señor… I mean Principal Uhl to move it, but…”
“He doesn’t really like us?”
“Yeah…”
The three of them sat for a long moment in silence.
“So why don’t we just pull the fire alarm?” asked Toby.
“If we do that we’d have to do it immediately before the attack. Otherwise the fire department would come and find out it was just a prank and reopen the building again before the attack,” Claire said. “But if we do it right before and get the timing even slightly wrong the fire department will arrive either right before or during our fight and then we will have to explain some things we really don’t want to.”
She paused for a moment then added. “Best case scenario we manage to clear anything Troll related, but we still get arrested for vandalism and Mom files a restraining order against you guys and grounds me.”
Toby sighed.
“Don’t forget Jim and I getting another mark on our records… Man, if the world doesn’t end we won’t be able to get jobs with our horrible criminal history. Only 16 and already robbing museums and committing vandalism.”
Jim patted him on the shoulder.
“Hopefully it won’t come to that. What else have we got?”
“Maybe we could cause a water leak?” Toby suggested.
“That might work,” Jim said perking up.
“Yeah but won’t there be cleanup crews there evaluating the damage?” Claire spun her staff around in her fingers.
“True.”
They lapsed into silence again.
“We could always make up a list of the possibilities and try them all until one works?”
Before they could get any father there was a thud and the sound of something heavy coming up the stairs.
“Good Morning, Master Jim!” Blinky said cheerfully as he emerged from the basement.
“Hey Blinky,” Jim said.
Aaarrrgghh took a moment longer to join them as he forced his body through the door. Between him and Draal Jim was surprised that doorframe hadn’t broken yet. Or that his mom hadn’t noticed all the scratches.
“So any idea on what that strange cylinder Porgon has is?”
“None I fear,” Blinky said with a sigh. “Even if I still had access to my library I doubt I would find anything on it. Whatever it is I do not believe it is of Trollish origins.”
“Ooooo, you think’s it’s some sort of top secret spy thing… or something magic from like wizards?” Toby asked, bouncing a little in his seat. “Or maybe some sort of wicked awesome alien technology?”
“I’ve no idea, but for now it would be best to focus on getting it away from Porgon. Once we do that we can study it and create a solution.”
Jim sighed. He’d really hoped that Blinky would have something on what they were up against. Maybe if they knew what it was they could make it so the rest of the Trollhunters remembered the time loops.
“Well let’s get some more ideas for stopping the science fair,” Jim said straightening up. “And then we can head over to the planetarium.”
He gave a shrug and directed a wry grin at Toby.
“We may as well try the fire alarm this time. No point in making things too complicated.”
Toby grinned and pumped his fist.
“Great! Another misdemeanor for our record!”
Jim rolled his eyes and laughed while Claire shot them a concerned look.
9.
“I’m not sure what I was expecting,” Jim said to Claire after he finished reading Toby’s text.
It turned out that the planetarium did not use the mail if they needed to cancel an event last minute. In hindsight he wasn’t surprised.
“It was worth try. Do you want to try something else?”
“No,” Jim said as he typed out a response. “It’s too close to the restart. Anyway I really need to get some practice in on my verbs.”
Claire nodded and glanced down at the list.
“Okay next one “to hear” in present tense.”
They managed to make it almost a quarter of the way through his backlog of Spanish verb practice before the day reset.
10.
The stink bomb, courtesy of NotEnrique, certainly cleared out the Planetarium. Jim watched from the janitor’s closet as everyone evacuating the building holding their noses. One didn’t quite make it out before throwing up.
Jim himself was wearing a respirator and had no such problems. He assumed based on the way his eyes were stinging that it was extremely pungent. If this worked but they didn’t defeat Porgon he was going to wear goggles next time.
The building was just about empty when he heard the police sirens go off. Why did the planetarium have to be so close to the police station? Jim muttered a trollish curse under his breath and looked around.
The exhibits were all strewn carelessly. One or two were gone, rescued by their fleeing owners.
Jim pulled out his walkie talkie.
“Any sign of him out there?- over”
“None,” Toby replied. “But you might want to get out. The firefighters are gearing up to go in. –over.”
Jim grimaced. Right. They probably wanted to make sure that the smell wasn’t from a toxic leak or something.
There was about 3 hours until Porgon was expected to show. Jim sighed and slipped out the side door.
11.
Between the firefighters, the police looking around for culprits and the cleanup, the Trollhunters didn’t get another chance to sneak back in the planetarium.
First thing in the morning this loop Jim had Claire portal into the Planetarium to call the school to cancel the science fair. Unfortunately the secretary had walked in on her so that plan was a bust. They had also recognized her, so she was out of the running until the day reset.
Having Toby sabotage Miss Janeth’s and Coach Lawrance’s cars had also failed.
The fake measles outbreak text Jim had sent after breaking into the school office only kept five kids from coming.
If Jim wasn’t so frustrated he would probably be worried about how completely fine with breaking the law he and his friends were at this point. As it was if he had to live through this day one more time…
12.
“I think I may have overdone it,” Jim said.
“You think?” Toby repeated staring at the smoking wreckage of what had been a planetarium.
“In my defense I didn’t realize the electric panel was right there.”
“Guys,” Claire said nervously. “We might want to start running.”
“It’s too late for that,” Toby said eyeing the crowd that was forming at a safe distance. “They’ve already seen our faces. If we run now we’ll be fugitives. We’ll have to hide out in caves and change our names and stuff.”
They were saved from making a decision by detective Scott showing up at that very moment.
Two hours and a lot of yelling later, Jim was very relieved when the day reset itself.
13.
“Okay are we all set? –over” Jim radioed in from the bushes outside the planetarium.
“Ten four! Everything’s in place.–over” Toby responded.
“In position. –over.” Claire’s signal wasn’t quite as good.
“Roger, that! Commence mission. –over and out.”
Jim slid his walkie talkie into his pocket and strolled toward the planetarium.
Out of sight in the bushes he pulled out and donned the glamor mask Blinky had given him. Now a very professional looking older man with graying hair, Jim strode confidently into the Planetarium.
Finding the first employee he could, he cleared his throat to get their attention.
“Excuse me, I’m with OSHA. We’ve been told of some safety concerns here, may I speak to your supervisor?”
The man looked surprised, but immediately complied.
“I am so glad that actually worked,” Jim said with a sigh as they slipped through Claire’s portal into one of the side rooms.
“I told you it would,” Toby said with a grin. “We were very thorough in our safety violations. Even if they do think it’s suspicious, it will take them a while to confirm it’s fake with OSHA and to realize that the actual Inspector Thompson is elsewhere. It’s not like they can trace the false investigation back to us.”
Jim hummed in response and settled down to wait. He was just relieved that they had finally solved the problem.
Time slowly crawled by and Claire and Toby got more and more relaxed in their chatter. Eventually Toby frowned and turned to Jim.
“It’s about noon. Wasn’t Porgon supposed to be here by now?”
“Yeah…” Jim said.
Had he been wrong? Did Porgon really remember the loops? Was he off on his timing?
There was a flash of blue light.
14.
Jim was up on top of the hill overlooking Arcadia again. The Creepslayerz had been roped into helping Toby and Claire sabotage the science fair.
Jim’s phone started beeping signaling it was noon. He tensed, watchful and alert.
For agonizing minutes nothing, then the whole world exploded into blue.
15.
Easy peasy…
Jim drew in a sharp breath as he shut off the alarm and processed what had just happened. The flash had come from under Arcadia. Given that the whole town had lit up at the same time, he highly doubted it was from the sewer system. No… the source had to be deep within the earth itself. That left one place…
Jim paced around the living room.
“Why would he go to Trollmarket now?”
Blinky frowned and glanced at Aaarrrgghh.
“I don’t know, Master Jim. Everything I’ve read about time travel is theoretical at best. There’s no way to predict how it might play out in reality…”
“Does he remember the loops as well? It didn’t seem like he did,” Jim said, scowling.
“Maybe…”
“We were so close! We were finally going to be able to fight him without being caught and end this thing!”
“Master Jim!”
Two of Blinky’s hands settled on his shoulders and the other two grabbed his arms. Jim struggled for a moment and then, failing to dislodge them, settled for shooting the troll a glare. Blinky sighed and released him.
“Master Jim, I know you are frustrated. This is a very trying situation, no doubt far beyond what any of us are aware of, but you must remain patient. Even if it doesn’t feel like it you… we are making progress. If we keep working together we can end this cycle of repetition.”
Jim bit his tongue and looked away.
“Yeah Jimbo!” Toby came up and hugged him from the side. “We’ll get you out of this in no time!”
“No time for you guys maybe,” Jim mumbled, looking down so he wouldn’t see their expressions.
“We just need new ideas!” Toby continued voice deliberately light. “Hey! Blinky can’t remember everything maybe we could sneak into his library and…”
“No!” Blinky said sharply. “It’s too dangerous. Gunmar is no doubt watching all the entrances to Trollmarket. Who knows what will happen if someone dies in this time loop. We cannot risk it.”
Toby’s eyes widened and he held up his hands.
“Sorry, it just seemed like a good idea.”
Blinky’s shoulders loosened. He sighed and rested a hand on Toby’s back.
“I know. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have snapped at you… I just can’t risk losing any more of you.”
Jim watched them quietly. Now that he thought of it, there might be one major benefit to being caught in a time loop…
Technically half-way!! Yay!
Next up... Jim goes solo for a loop.

fatedeniedhope replied to your post “* sees people confused over various kh plot points * * is not people i...”
I would like yo know a bit. Only play kh 1 and chain of memories and half way to kh 2
oh boy there is a *lot* to cover here then!
I don’t mean that to sound intimidating, kh just has a tendency for long, sprawling interconnected plots (many of which are still unresolved even now)
i am also doing this entirely by memory, so if i’ve skimmed something i shouldn’t have its because my brain has stopped registering it as important; feel free to ask for clarification, i wrote this in one sitting because i was avoiding doing laundry XD
putting a cut because i am overviewing a Lot of game here and tbh there’s still a lot of stuff i am skimming or skipping entirely. I’m just trying to hit the highlights.
i don’t know where you stopped in 2, so i’m just gonna give a brief overview
-there is a boy named roxas
-he’s being hunted by these strangers called nobody’s
-things get weird
-turns out he’s sora’s nobody, as nobody’s are created when a person is turned into a heartless (which sora did during kh1)
-roxas returns to sora (”looks like my summer vacation is.. over...” whoops there goes my heart) and normal sora gameplay resumes.
-DIDNEY WORLDS
-turns out everyone forgot sora for a year bc of what happened in chain of memories (and also 358/2. dont worry about that yet we’ll get there). kairi sends out a bottle to “the boy she can’t remember” trying to call him home. (yes this is important)
-organization 13 (all what? eight of them left?) pops up, xemnas is cryptic, and they say their goal is to recreate kingdom hearts via sora killing heartless, since apparently only killing heartless with a keyblade sends the trapped hearts to Kingdom Hearts
-this version of the tale persists through 358 as well. it’s.. half right.
-bla bla bla, shenanigans. there’s ansem (the boss from kh1) and a guy named diz. That isn’t who either of them actually are. It’s actually Riku (who tapped too far into the darkness trying to capture roxas for the whole twilight town scenario at the beginning of the game, thus altering his appearance to look like the guy who posessed him for a bit) and THE ACTUAL ANSEM (ie, the ruler(?) of radient garden before it fell, and the guy heartless ansem stole his name from.
-anyways
-sora goes off searching for riku, bc as far as he knows, he’s still lost out in the darkness.
-he’s not, he’s fine, but he’s super embarrassed about the whole ‘looking like the enemy’ thing and won’t let sora find him.
-sora casually murders most of the remaining organization members (only most of whom shot first)
-this continues on until axel attempts to kidnap kairi, who ends up in twilight town for a bit hanging out with the hayner/pence/ollete trio, before being slightly more successfully kidnapped a second time.
-and then she gets kidnapped again by saix. Axel apologises to sora over this. in his defence, he’s pretty desperate at this point (he just wants his friend(s) back)
-sora storms The World That Never Was, kairi is rescued by Namine.
-the trio finally meets up (namine disapeared at some point? yknow, i actually dont recall what happened to her in between these scenes), sora and kairi share a slightly awkward but sweet hug, and after a moments trepidation over ‘Ansem’, kairi tells/shows him its riku, at which point sora bursts into tears.
-i ship a lot of ot3′s, but sorikai is the OG ot3
-anyways
-namine and roxas have a very symbolic moment refusing with their Other’s, Namine opens a portal back to destiny islands so they can go home.
-everyone except sora and riku make it through, and thus commences several final fantasy style boss fights
-they win, of course, riku’s injured in the line of battle, and they limp out, having traversed several realms during the course of this battle, they’re now trapped on a beach in the realm of darkness. it’s the same beach everyone else seems to end up on in this place. There is only one beach in the RoD apparently
-they stay there a while, and then they pick up a message in a bottle; it’s from kairi, “to the boy she can’t remember”
-Feelings make a door to the light open, and sora and riku fall like actual comets from the sky and everybody’s reunited and happy. huzzah!
-.... well for a while anyways.
-should i get into the whole xemnas/xehanort/ansem thing here?
-eh
-okay so
-lets swing back into Birth By Sleep for a bit
-(im sorry if kh can’t hit any of its plot points in order i think its fair neither do i)
-BBS takes place roughly nine years prior to kh1, with the exception of bbs’s prologue, which i would estimate as being an additional four years prior to that
-during said prologue, we meet Master Xehanort, an incredibly old dude with brown skin, gold eyes, and a white beard. even newcomers to the series will probably recognise that only one type of person gets those colours in these games.
-we also meet baby Ventus, Xehanorts apprentice. He looks exactly like Roxas.
-shenanigans happen, Xehanort splits Ven’s heart in two, creating Vanitas, who is Ventus’s darkness.
-Vanitas’ whole shtick is he wants to be reunited with Ventus, ostensibly to create the X-blade (yes it’s pronounced exactly the same as ‘keyblade’ and yes, every single kh fan ive ever talked to has found this annoying af)
-unfortunately being split in two like that puts ven in a coma, and xehanort takes the unresponiseve body to destiny islands to dump it like unwanted ravioli
-luckily for ven, “a brand new hear” hears his hurt and reaches out to help, filling out the gaps left in his and allowing him to start recovering
-the heart is sora
-actual, literal baby sora reaching out to help people before he can even walk yet.
-the game never spells this out explicitly, which makes it an easy plot point to miss if you aren’t paying attention
-ven doesn’t recover immidietly though, and xehanort sends him to live with his old friend Master Eraqus and his two teenage apprentices, Aqua and Terra
-here’s where we time skip, ventus is fully recovered, terra and aqua are young adults and about to take their Mark Of Mastery exams for becoming keyblade masters.
-Terra fails because he has darkness in his heart and also xehanort rigged it against him
-aqua passes and becomes a master. I love her very much.
-terra journey’s out to try and figure out where the darkness comes from
-vanitas taunts ven saying terra’s leaving him bc ven’s stupid or something and ven panics and chases after him (he’s like 14 and has a bit of a hero worship thing, stupid decisions are par for the course)
-eraqus sends aqua out to both spy on terra (he words it nicer but thats the gist of it), which aqua doesn’t particularly like but trusts her masters judgement and does it, and bring ventus home, which she is more on board with
-the biggest tragedy in bbs is that no one talks to each other
-stuff happens, they learn some stuff, aqua’s route has So Many Lesbian Feels with every single princess she runs into it brings me great delight
-Ventus learns the whole ‘fight your darkness to become the X-blade’ plot, eraqus learns this too and tries to kill ven. Terra busts in at the last moment and saves ven, at this point using his dark powers fully.
-#terrawasright
-eraqus dies, which i don’t think terra fully intended to do (he just wanted to save ven) and if you recall the scene in kh1 where kairi catches a falling sora only for him to burst into a bunch of floating glitter? imagine that but with two grown men
-aqua’s just trying to figure out whats going on. she gets to meet kairi (saves her from some heartless and then puts a charm on her necklace to keep her safe) and then meets Mickey, who will be our future duex ex machina
-they all meet for the final battle.
-ven asks his friends to murder him
-no one does that
-what the fuck ven
-they fight, and a lot of stuff sorta happens at the same time
-1: terra fights xehanort, who has essentially been spending the whole game prepping terra to be his next host. xehanort is a body snatcher confirmed. xehanort wins, terra becomes the fanon-named terranort.
-2: ventus fights vanitas. vanitas reveals his face, and he looks exactly like a colour swapped version of sora. (also voiced by the same voice actor! it’s actually surprsingly difficult to notice this if you don’t have some kind of clue already because haley joel osment does and *amazing* job). ventus wins, the X-blade is not forged, but as a lot of this battle takes place in his heart, the effects are bad and ven falls into a coma (he reaches out once more, and another hearts answers. “you can stay here a while, I don’t mind” says the other heart. yes its fucking sora again. too good, too pure)
-3: aqua gets knocked out to start with, but then she fights vanitas controlling ventus’ body, which eventually gets sorted out. terra’s dissapeared at this point, and she takes a comatose ven and hides him in the land of departure, which she uses a secret mechanism to turn into Castle Oblivion (and thus, impossible to navigate without her key)
-aqua goes to hunt down terra(nort), and finds him in radiant garden. they fight, aqua wins, but when he begins to sink into the darkness she sacrifices herself to save him (which is how he ends up as one of ansem’s apprentices and mostly without any memories)
-aqua will spend the next ten years in the realm of darkness
-bbs is such a goddam tragedy
-OKAY
-time to fast forward
-so sora and ven are connected, which is why vanitas and roxas look the way they do, which brings us to
-the case of xion
-and 358/2
-the worst game to play but my absolute favourite in terms of slow-burn pacing and emotionally investing you in the characters
-this game pretty much just deals with the year sora spent asleep, and the kids time in the organization.
-roxas wakes up with no memories, is inducted into the org, and told “kill heartless with your keyblade”. He’s more or less a zombie at first, and accepts this without question.
-a week later, a new member is introduced, named Xion, who also has a keyblade, and is also a zombie with no memories at first
-Axel, the org’s assassin, is basically told to babysit them both
-he’s not really into it at first, but those natural Big Brother instincts kick in Hard about five minutes later and from that point on he’s mostly just trying to keep them both alive.
-oh, also Lea, Axel’s somebody, met Ventus in bbs, so that was probably a little weird for him.
-as the game goes on and these kids essentially learn how to human and try to figure out what makes them different, the Big Plots stew in the background. Axel and Saix have some kind of plan that Axel apparently isn’t sticking to, and Axel questions his loyalties more as the game goes on and circumstances force him to choose between two kids Who Did Nothing Wrong, and his oldest friend.
-Xion learns they are a replica, a la Repliku, created as a backup to roxas if he could not fulfil his duty in creating kingdom hearts. their connection with roxas, and through him sora, has the unintended side effect of flitering memories and feelings into and through Xion.
-this is why putting sora back together takes so long
-Xion, between the pressure of being an org member in general, and the mental load from being caught between three+ people in a very literal sense, has a breakdown. Riku finds them, and despite a pretty rocky start between them, helps them through it.
-Xion leaves at two different points, the first time, Axel brings them back. “please don’t hold back, Axel. Promise.” “Everyone always thinks they’re right”
-excuse me i have to lay down again after thinking about how emotionally wrought this scene is.
-(the alternative is he has to kill them. he does everything he can to avoid that, but it’s clearly approaching an unsustainable situation; the org is running out of patience for dealing with the ‘clearly defective replica’, xion doesnt feel this situation is right, and axel just wants to keep everyone alive.
-yes typing ‘clearly defective replica’ physically hurt me. xion is a perfect bab and xemnas can fite me
-Xion leaves again
-Roxas, learning pieces of this but not all, runs away from the org. cue titular “no one would me” “that’s not true!” scene from 2
-(this leads to what is a hilariously depressing scene of roxas on the clocktower looking at his life and going “where could i even run to? I havent got anywhere to go” because he’s never known anything other than the organization and whoops i made myself sad again)
-namine explains to xion that sora can never wake up so long as they have his memories. The only way for them to release the memories is to die. It’s a hard decision.
-Xion meets roxas on the clocktower, feigns insanity, and goads him into fighting them (”do you see my face, roxas? is it a boys face? don’t you see. I have to make you a part of me too.”)
-cue more ff style boss fights
-xion dies
-look i can’t go into detail on this one i’ll start crying again, xion dies, everyone forgets they ever existed, and roxas gets to watch them shatter into dust in his arms.
-in the brief period where the memories are quickly vanishing but Not Quite Gone Yet roxas goes into a Roaring Rampage of Revenge and storms the World That Never Was
-this is where Riku catches up to him, and from there its a pretty straight shot into the beginning of kh2
-which im sure if you played these in chronological order would be *some kind of mood whiplash* i bet
-okay what have i missed
-recoded happened. the only important part here is that malificent and pete find out about the black box and malificent being malificent of course she Has To Have It
-”but whats the black box??” you ask
-good question
-we still dont know
-its origin point is in KHUx though,
-which is the multiplayer mobile game set during the Keyblade War of ages past. each weilder also has a companion dream eater named chirithy
-there are five unions, each headed by a leader and represented by an animal (unicorn, bear, snake, fox, and leopard)
-#anguisforlife
-these five (plus one more, named luxu) are each given roles by their master (the Master of Masters, or also known as MoM). He also tells them there is a traitor amongst the warriors of light. it’s unclear at this point how much of this he is directly steering. He also doesnt specifiy Which warriors of light, probably on purpose so everything happens as it should.
-so figure, trying to figure out who the traitor is is a pretty direct cause to no one trusting each other and eventually going for each others throats
-there is a page from the book of prophecies he gives only to luxu, who he tells that his role is to see the future with this Special Keyblade (and specifically the Eye in it). You might recognise it as xehanorts keyblade (and then you’ll start to see the Eye in a whole bunch of other ones too, notably in soul edge, way to dawn, and void gear)
-luxu fucks off, and everyone else goes about their business
-the first half of khux details how these unions came to be rivals, and then how they fell into war with each other and destroyed the light. the second half detailed how Ava, leader of the fox union, created a fifth group known as the dandelions, specifically picked to survive the fall of the light and rebuild.
-ventus and lauriam are two of these leaders. No, we still don’t know how they got from one point to the other.
-one of the replacement leaders, strelitzia, got murdered and replaced by someone else. i think this plot point has been resolved in japan but i havent checked yet
-strelitzia is lauriam’s sister. she also knows elrena.
-and if you’re bad at anagraming like i am, lauriam=marluxua, and elrena=larxene
-so yeah figure that one out for me
-also i love strelitzia she has like two scenes total and i was already ludicrously attached help
-(Yes i screamed very hard during that One Scene in 3. we dont even see her face but it’s heerrrrrrrr)
-anyways
-right the black box
-luxu is seen carrying it off in the Back Cover movie as he wanders into exile. we still dont know whats in it. and that’s basically that.
-which leaves just Dream Drop Distance
-sora and riku take a Highly Modified mark of master exam under yen sid.
-things go wrong almost immidietly
-sora gets trapped by the xehanorts in a deep sleep, where they plan to use him as one of their 13 vessels of darkness
-there has to be 13 for some reason
-13 darknesses, and 7 lights, and when they clash it’ll make the X-blade
-because reasons
-it’s fate or something
-riku rescues him
-there is time travel involved now
-because at this point the 13 darkness now include; heartless ansem, master xehanort, xemnas, young xehanort, xigbar, and saix.
-more time travel will be involved later, but to keep this in mind the rules of time travel here are
-you cannot take your body with you
-you lose any future knowledge you gain if and when you return
-things are obviously wibbly here because it’s half in the dreamscape, but just. keep those rules in mind when you play 3.

Rappelz is a free-to-playmassively multiplayer online role-playing game. The game is developed by the Korean company Gala Lab, formerly nFlavor. It is published in Europe and North America by Way2Bit Co. Ltd. (formerly by Webzen, Inc. until 2020) in English, French, German, Italian, Polish and Turkish, on their Bora Island games portal. As of October 2008, Rappelz was also being published by the South East Asia based game publishing company AsiaSoft as RappelzSEA, but was later dropped by the company on 1 September 2009. The game was also published in Arabic for MENA gamers by the Emirati company Game Power 7. The game was released under a different title known as Hope of Nations (Arabic: أمل الشعوب), and was commercially launched on 16 March 2009.[1] A new version was released 15 July 2010 by EagleGame in the Philippines, but the PH/SEA version closed in 2016. As of 6 February 2013 it was confirmed by Rappelz GMs that 'Gala Net, Inc. and its subsidiaries Gala Networks Europe and Gala-Net Brazil have been acquired by Webzen, Inc.', however it is still being developed by Gala Labs and Gala Japan[2]
Rappelz is set in a medieval fantasy world, dominated by three races: the Deva (who represent light), the Asura (who represent darkness), and the Gaia (humans that possess an affinity with nature).[3]
Each major installment of the game is referred to as an 'Epic'. The current installment is called 'Epic 9.5: Trials of Devildom' (5th part of Epic IX).[4]
History[edit]
The Open Beta version of Rappelz launched on 2 October 2006,[5] with two separate servers available: 'Tortus', the normal PvE server, and 'Pantera', the more PvP/PK-oriented server. Those who had previously downloaded the Closed Beta version of Rappelz were not required to re-download the Rappelz client to play in Open Beta; however, extensive automatic patching was done by the client before Closed Beta players could enter Open Beta. Closed Beta ended on 26 September 2006. Closed-beta characters were deleted at the beginning of Open Beta; however, characters created during Open Beta were not deleted prior to the game's release. Open Beta ended with the official release of the game on 3 November 2006, entitled Epic 3 (the previous being Epic 1 and Epic 2: The Epic of the Absolute Creature).
There are currently three servers in service namely, 'Betrayal', 'Undine' and 'Unicorn'. Previously there was four servers in service, 'Tyrant', 'Baphomet', 'Undine' and 'Unicorn' (PVE). Later 'Baphomet' and 'Tyrant' were merged into 'Betrayal'. Previously five servers were merged into two, 'Fenrir' and 'Bahamut' were merged into 'Baphomet'; 'Naga', 'Tortus' and 'Pantera' became 'Undine'(PVE). The US test server for Epic 4 testing was called 'Siren'.[6]
Story[edit]
The oldest race is the Gaia, and to assist them, the gods of Creation and Extinction brought two more races into the world. They were the Deva who represented the Light, and the Asura who represented the Darkness. With this, there was a period of peace and stability in the world.
As the ages passed by, there was one among the Gaia who called herself 'The Witch'. Over time, she grew in tremendous power and with a ruthless ambition, rallied the people of Gaia to rebel against the world.
Not all the people of Gaia heeded this call, however, and the world was thrown into chaos. It was only through the combined efforts of the three races of Deva, Asura, and Gaia that 'The Witch' was finally captured and burnt alive. It was a victorious outcome of a unity between the three races.
The three races continue to co-exist with each other in the world of Rappelz but dark rumors have surfaced about the second coming of 'The Witch' and the return of her terrible forces. T Epic 6 sets you on a quest to discover who is behind the resurrection of the witch, the introduction of the previous Hero Hector, and finally the assassination of the witch.
Gameplay[edit]
Rappelz features three races: the light-based Deva, and two human races, Gaia and Asura. Each race has three classes: Warrior, magician, and summoner, the class whose abilities center around their pets.[7] Pets are creatures that adventure alongside players, aiding them in battle. Pets and players level up individually, though typically a pet will stop gaining XP if it is a higher level than its owner.
A Lak is magical energy from monsters and can be obtained by defeating monsters while wearing the appropriate necklace. Gathered Lak can be consumed if the player dies, preventing him from losing experience points, or can be traded at any Lak Trader for either chips or in-game currency, rupees. There were three types of chips. These chips are items that characters can use to significantly affect a battle by increasing the amount of damage the target takes for a limited amount of time. They come in different ranks which allow different levels of users to use chips. Items of equipment have their own level and can level up by means of upgrading.
In addition, combinations of equipment with the appropriate enchantment cubes can further increase its potency, as is the case with weapons, and are reflected graphically through a glow effect. This is called 'enchanting' an item. A weak weapon or armour can be formed into a stronger item without having to sell it and buy a new one. This can also substantially increase both the item's in-game market value. The only non-equipment item that can be enchanted is the skill card.
Items can also be improved by 'socketing' Soul Stones. This is done by visiting a Soulcrafter. Soul Stones are dropped items that cannot be bought. When socketed, they will increase one of the primary stats of one's character if certain conditions are met. Soul Power can be charged at the Soulcrafter of each town and will be paid in Lak.
Rappelz also features a Player versus Player (PvP) on/off mode.
Classes and levels[edit]
Rappelz features a variety of classes, most of which can be unlocked through attaining a certain character level and job level. Character levels are attained in the traditional way, by defeating mobs and gaining experience points. Besides experience points, defeating mobs also grants the player job points. Job points are required to obtain and level up the character's skills, but also to increase their job level. Most skills require a minimum job level to be unlocked.[8]
Geography[edit]
The world of Rappelz consists of a large island, which is the mainland, and a smaller one, which is called Trainee's Island. The mainland is divided into several areas. There are also dungeons to be found, in which monsters are stronger, and experience and job point rewards are higher.
Dungeon system[edit]
Dungeons are isolated places reached through portals. The monsters in dungeons are stronger than normal monsters with the same level, but the experience and job point reward for killing one is also higher. There are also items that can only be obtained as a dungeon drop. Dungeons are usually entered as a party, or dungeon party. This enables the party to efficiently kill monsters and gain experience fast. Parties in Rappelz may contain up to 8 players. Dungeons are not instanced, meaning players will be able to interact with other characters and parties inside the dungeon.
Rappelz has a feature in place that allows for guilds to 'own' a dungeon. Ownership of a dungeon brings certain advantages, such as a Lak and rupee 'tax' for characters using the dungeon.
Guilds[edit]
Rappelz features a simple guild system, where any player above level 20 can register a guild at a Guild Official (NPC) in the major towns. Guilds offer players a group to play with. Up to five guilds can also come together to form an alliance. This was implemented to avoid guild-hopping. An alliance owning a dungeon cannot add any other guild to the alliance.

Rappelz Player Class Guide by koki1
I made this little thing mostly for new players who wants to know more the classes. Maybe it will help people choosing a class for the first time.
Rappelz Master Classes Free
First, when you make your character, you choose your race. There are 3 different races; Gaia, Deva and Asura.
Rappelz Classes Maitre
Then, when you have completed some start quests and such, you will be able to choose your first job class. For each race there are 3 first job classes:
Gaia: Fighter, Kahuna and Spell Singer. Deva: Holy Warrior, Cleric and Breeder. Asura: Strider, Dark Magi and Sorcerer.
Fighter: The Gaia warrior. A regular damage dealer class. The class can be used as a melee combat fighter or a long range fighter. As melee weapon I would recommend using a 2-handed axe or 2 1-handed axes (you will need a passive skill for that). Swords also work. As long range weapon you have a Long Bow.
Kahuna: The Gaia magician. This class have some good magic spells combined with a pretty good melee fighting ability. They are usually using a 2-handed axe for fighting. They also have buff skills (raising stats of others/yourself) that are very useful in groups.
Spell Singer: The Gaia summoner. As all summoner classes, this class uses a pet to fight by your side. It got skills to make a pet strong. Combined with this, it’s also a good fighter by itself. I would recommend using 2 1-handed axes when you get the passive skill for it. A 2-handed axe works too.
Rappelz Master Class
Holy Warrior: The Deva warrior. This class are mainly melee combat warriors. It has good defense and health, which makes it an excellent tank that can last long. Many weapons fit this class, some are 1-handed sword + shield, 2 1-handed swords, spear, 1-handed mace + shield etc.
Cleric: The Deva magician. This class are most known for the healing spells. It can heal (restore health) other players and itself. This makes it an excellent class for playing in groups to keep people alive. It also have other good magic spells and buffs. I recommend using a staff for better healing when you are playing in a group or a mace when you play alone for a good combination of magic and melee attacks.
Breeder: The Deva summoner. A class where you use a pet fighting by your side. It has skills to make a pet strong in addition to pet healing and pet buffs. Recommended weapon is a 2-handed mace.
Strider: The Asura warrior. A class that fights melee or range. It is known for fast hits and quick speed. Melee weapons would be 2 1-handed swords or 2 1-handed dirks. The range weapon for this class is a crossbow.
Dark Magi: The Asura magician. This class is using attack magic and debuff magic. It casts strong magic spells to kill the enemy. It uses a 2-handed staff for strong magic attacks, but a dirk + shield combo works too for melee attacks.
Sorcerer: The Asura summoner. Another class where you use a pet to fight by your side. It have skills to make your pet strong and also got good magic attack skills. They are mainly using dirk + shield to fight.
Later, when your character level is at least 50 and your job level is at least 40, you will be able to choose a second job class based on the class you choose as first job.
A short list over the second job classes:
Fighter can become a Champion or an Archer. Champion improves the melee ability of the fighter. Archer improves the range ability of the fighter.
Kahuna can become a Druid or a Battle Kahuna. Druid gets good new magic spells and are probably more specialized on magic than the Battle Kahuna. Battle Kahuna improves the fighting of the Kahuna, and are probably more specialized on melee attacking than the Druid.
Spell Singer can become an Evoker. Evoker improves the abilities of the spell singer.
Holy Warrior can become a Soldier or a Knight. Soldier improves the abilities of the Holy Warrior. Probably a bit more oriented on attack power than the Knight. Knight improves the abilities of the Holy Warrior. Probably a bit more oriented on defense power than the Soldier.
Cleric can become a Priest or a Bishop. Priest improves the healing abilities of the Cleric. Bishop improves the magic abilities of the Cleric. A little less healing specialized than the Priest.
Breeder can become a Soul Breeder. Soul Breeder improves the abilities of the Breeder.
Strider can become an Assassin or a Shadow Hunter. Assassin improves the melee ability of the Strider. Shadow Hunter improves the range ability of the Strider.
Dark Magi can become a Chaos Magician or a Warlock. Chaos Magician improves the magic abilities of the Dark Magi. More attack spell specialized than the Warlock. Warlock improves the magic abilities of the Dark Magi. More Debuff spell specialized than the Chaos Magician.
Sorcerer can become a Battle Summoner. Battle Summoner improves the abilities of the Sorcerer.

Hold corporate. Corporate events: objectives, objectives, types, efficiency. Good rest - great job
Organizing corporate events is not just entertainment for employees, but is a necessity for the management of the company, specialists in the field of human resources. Through internal PR, it is possible to achieve a more coherent and efficient work of the team, to increase the intangible interest of employees for active activities aimed at a common goal.
Why corporate events
Everything that takes place within the company - from business meetings to happy holidays - is designed to solve the important tasks of the organization. The main objective of corporate events is to strengthen the team, in other words, increase team spirit, employees' trust in each other, motivation to work in a team. It is necessary for employees to have a sense of personal involvement in the company, there should be an interest in the development of the company.
Remember what other tasks the events that aim at creating a corporate culture within the company face:
1. Keeping the employees in the company, increasing their loyalty to the organization.
2. Intangible motivation of employees by presenting awards, birthday cards, organizing free concerts, etc.
3. Strengthening the links between management and staff. Corporate events provide an opportunity for informal, more confidential communication of top managers with other employees.
4. Identifying the internal problems of the company, the deficiencies of its personnel policy.
5. Familiarizing employees with changes in the company: new solutions, employees, plans.
6. Advocacy for the traditions and values of the company.
7. Improving the emotional background in the team.
Types of corporate events:
Depending on the specific objective, atmosphere and tone, corporate events are classified according to a number of varieties: business events (reception, meetings, presentations, summary of the results of the year); Development (seminars, master courses, trainings, conferences); team building, or team building (rally training, business games, competitions, rope course, hiking); sports (games, competitions, races, tournaments); fun (corporate events, receptions, concerts, corporate events in nature);
Solemn (rewards employees by awarding titles) Often, the characteristics of different events are combined into one. For example, corporate nature events can combine team building, sports competition and picnics. In any case, all the elements of what is happening must be result-oriented and strictly organized.
Corporate event planning
Without a well-thought-out scenario and clearly defined goals, a workout or party can prove to be chaotic and disappointing. At the stage of drawing up a corporate event plan, it is necessary to take into account the following points: the interest of employees for the following event (previously determined by a survey); voluntary participation in the event; clear deadlines; the date must match the most; carefully and pre-selected spaces, suitable for capacity and comfort, corresponding to the conditions of the event (conference, vacation); preparing a clear and detailed scenario for a corporate event, coordinating it with all those who participate in the organization, acting; responsible approach to design: from invitations to corporate events to room design. Organizing a corporate event is complicated by the fact that it is necessary to involve each participant in it. It should be borne in mind that some like to help organize the event, others like to participate in competitions, others like to give speeches, and others like to receive prizes.
Corporate events are an integral part of corporate culture, one of the most powerful tools for creating, maintaining and disseminating new employees. Corporate events allow you to successfully solve problems such as building a team, increasing loyalty to the company, intangible motivation (as part of the social package of employees) - in a word, this is one of the most important tools for marking human resources.
How can the varieties of this instrument be classified? In addition to large events (birthdays, New Years, etc.), it is necessary to note a variety of team building events (rope courses, role-playing games, competitions for sports teams, tournaments, etc.), as well as excursions. common to cinema, sporting events. and so on For example, Mailer employees often go to concerts held by the portal and even to hockey and karting (it is obvious that in this case people with similar interests meet). Meeting people with similar thoughts is the best way to strengthen team spirit. Of course, the efficiency of corporate events is very difficult to measure, especially from an economic point of view. At the time of their holding, only the costs incurred by the company in connection with their organization are obvious. But no doubt Following the results of such events, employees will learn more about the company itself, its history, office legends, etc., will get to know each other better (this is especially true for large organizations). Most employees will be grateful to management for the opportunity to communicate informally with colleagues, will begin to form a sense of ownership, ie the employee will gradually associate with the company, and the company with himself. Obviously, this is the main goal of HR internal branding. Most employees will be grateful to management for the opportunity to communicate informally with colleagues, will begin to form a sense of ownership, ie the employee will gradually associate with the company, and the company with himself. Obviously, this is the main goal of HR internal branding. Most employees will be grateful to management for the opportunity to communicate informally with colleagues, will begin to form a sense of ownership, ie the employee will gradually associate with the company, and the company with himself. Obviously, this is the main goal of HR internal branding.
First of all, every year we celebrate the company's birthday, which is attended by hundreds of employees, customers and partners. In our opinion, it is very important that the employees of this event have the opportunity to communicate not only with each other, but also with an external audience. Because of this, anyone in the company (starting with a secretary and ending with, for example, an HTML layout designer) has a holistic perception of the business as a whole and a sense of their involvement in it, their contribution to the common cause.
Second, the New Year. Traditionally, it is a family vacation, so the employees took part in it, with the possibility of inviting each other, but in 2008-2009, we decided to abandon this format, as our company became two times higher, and for us it was very important to introduce our employees to each other (and the staff itself was satisfied to be able to communicate with colleagues, and not just with the husband, as before).
In addition, Mail.Ru organizes a Christmas tree for several years for the employees of the office employees. This is a wonderful opportunity to make friends with families, to show children where their parents work all day, and so on. Overall, this is a great way to build a team, but honestly, when we organize a Christmas tree, we didn't think about it, we just wanted to make the kids a vacation.
I can also note the "summer outings" in the summer, the receptions on February 23 and March 8, etc. Their main goal is to add even more positive emotions to the work process, as well as improve communication between departments and employees.
A corporate celebration in its current form began to take shape in the rapidly developing capitalist countries of Europe and America in the late 19th and 20th centuries. Corporate holidays can be divided into two categories:
through their ideological background (ie through the task they have to solve);
by type of organization.

300+ TOP SAP MDM Interview Questions and Answers
SAP MDM Interview Questions for freshers experienced :-
1. What is SAP Master Data Management? SAP Master Data Management (SAP MDM) enables information integrity across the business network, in a heterogeneous IT landscape. SAP MDM helps to define the business network environment based on generic and industry specific business elements and related attributes – called master data. Master data, for example, cover business partner information, product masters, product structures, or technical asset information. SAP MDM enables the sharing of harmonized master data, formerly trapped in multiple systems, and ensures cross system data consistency regardless of physical system location and vendor. It helps to align master data by providing services that recognize identical master data objects and keep them consistent. In addition, it enables the federation of business processes, by providing consistent distribution mechanisms of master data objects into other systems, within the company and across company boundaries. 2. What are SAP MDM’s major benefits? SAP MDM: Helps companies leverage already committed IT investments since it complements and integrates into their existing IT landscape. Reduces overall data maintenance costs by preventing multiple processing in different systems. Accelerates process execution by providing sophisticated data distribution mechanisms to connected applications. Ensures information consistency and accuracy, and therefore reduces error-processing costs that arise from inconsistent master data. Improves corporate decision-making processes in strategic sales and purchasing by providing up-to-date information to all people. 3. What are the MDM Business Scenarios? Master Data Consolidation Master Data Harmonization Central Master Data Management Rich Product Content Management Customer Data Integration Global Data Synchronization 4. What is Master Data Consolidation? In Master Data Consolidation scenario, users wield SAP NetWeaver MDM to collect master data from several systems at a central location, detect and clean up duplicate and identical objects, and manage the local object keys for cross-system communication. 5. What is Master Data Harmonization? In Master Data Harmonization scenario enhances the Master Data Consolidation scenario by forwarding the consolidated master data information to all connected, remote systems, thus depositing unified, high-quality data in heterogeneous system landscapes. With this scenario, you can synchronize globally relevant data across your system landscape. 6. What are all the capabilities and functions of SAP NetWeaver MDM? SAP NetWeaver MDM is used to aggregate master data from across the entire system landscape (including SAP and non-SAP systems) into a centralized repository of consolidated information. High information quality is ensured by syndicating harmonized master data that is globally relevant to the subscribed applications. A company’s quality standards are supported by ensuring the central control of master data, including maintenance and storage. 7. What are all the MDM Functional Components? Import Server, Syndication Server, Console, Import manager, Data manager, Syndicator, Publisher etc. 8. What is Parametric Import? Parametric Import is a new and radically more efficient approach to importing and transforming data that is conceptually similar to parametric search. Parametric import lists the complete set of distinct values for each field in the source data. 9. Can’t you achieve all this by using today’s EAI and/or ETL applications? EAI tools provide the connection between different systems on the technical layer to ensure message handling, semantic mapping, routing and queuing of data. ETL tools provide similar functionality but are typically deployed less as a message handling layer and more as a batch-oriented, massive volume integration mechanism. As a building block of the SAP NetWeaver platform, SAP MDM leverages the process integration capabilities of SAP’s Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI), but, in addition, also provides services for content consolidation, data harmonization, central maintenance and controlled data distribution according to the business process semantics. 10. Is SAP MDM an xAPP? No. SAP MDM is a building block of the SAP NetWeaver platform. SAP MDM can be licensed and used stand-alone in heterogeneous environments as well as in conjunction with other mySAP.com solutions or xApps in future.
SAP MDM Interview Questions 11. Is SAP MDM an extension of my SAP PLM? No. SAP MDM can be used in conjunction with mySAP solutions including mySAP PLM or non-SAP solutions. 12. Why is SAP MDM part of SAP NetWeaver? SAP NetWeaver is an integration and application platform that helps unify and align people, information and business processes across technologies and organizations. SAP Master Data Management (MDM) is a building block of SAP NetWeaver to enable information integrity across the business network and to facilitate a better communication of information across a heterogeneous IT landscape. 13. What prompted SAP to begin development of SAP MDM? Integration is the key to success in business. And since heterogeneous system landscapes are commonplace today, only companies with continuous processes and optimal access to consistent information can secure themselves a decisive competitive advantage. The basic principle behind this is the availability of reliable and consistent master data. 14. Is SAP late to this market? No. There are a few applications announced in the market today, which are addressing parts of the solution. However those solutions are typically limited to business partner information only and do not address the process integration needs to maintain and distribute the harmonized master data. SAP is the only provider that offers a broad and diverse connectivity and business content developed by SAP and its partner network, based on SAP’s intimate, longstanding knowledge of comprehensive business processes in more than 20 industries. This business content shortens the development cycle for customers and drives down the cost of integration projects. 15. When will SAP MDM become available? How will it be priced? Customer ramp-up is scheduled to begin in September 2003. It will be priced separately as an engine, based on the number of managed data objects in the connected systems. 16. How will SAP MDM be implemented? Implementation services will be provided by SAP’s Global Professional Services Organization as well as together with selected system integrators. 17. Will this solution replace the existing master data distribution techniques between my SAP CRM and SAP R/3 (SAP BC, CRM middleware) or SAP R/3 and mySAP SCM (CIF interface)? Those interfaces including ALE will continue to be used in parallel to process operational data. It is not planned to replace those interfaces with SAP MDM. 18. Will it be possible to use SAP MDM only with SAP Exchange Infrastructure or can a company also use other EAI tools ? The use of the SAP Exchange Infrastructure is the foundation for SAP MDM. SAP solutions are powered by the SAP NetWeaver platform with high emphasis on interoperability to :NET and J2EE/Java. 19. For which 3rd party products will SAP provide the adaptors ? In the first phase the adaptors to 3rd party products will be provided on a project basis. SAP plans to make selected adaptors to 3rd party systems to a part of the standard solution in future. 20. Will the solution provide the adaptors to all SAP solutions ? SAP MDM will provide adaptors for mySAP CRM, mySAP SRM and SAP R/3 in the first phase. MySAP SCM will be supported via SAP R/3 in the first phase. In the next phase, a direct adaptor will also provided for mySAP SCM. 21. What objects will be supported by SAP MDM? What services will be offered ? The initial release of SAP MDM will support the following master data objects: business partner, product master, product structures, document links, technical assets and change masters. Services provided depend on the type of objects and will include maintenance of objects, search for objects, workflow, mass changes, change notifications, duplicate checking, and notifications for object creation and discontinuation. 22. How integrated is SAP NetWeaver MDM 5.5 with SAP NetWeaver and applications? SAP NetWeaver MDM 5.5 is an integral part of the NetWeaver stack. In the current feature release, enterprise application integration, both SAP and non-SAP, is accomplished through SAP XI. Interoperability with other systems is possible via SAP NetWeaver MDM 5.5’s APIs (including ABAP whose development is currently in process). Tight, native integration is part of the SAP NetWeaver MDM 5.5 roadmap and further pre-built integration points will be rolled out as we progress along the development path. SAP MDM 5.5 SP2 will provide view-only iViews for SAP Enterprise Portal. 23. Is the Product Catalog Management application part of the SAP NetWeaver Integration and Application Platform? Does print publishing belong to this platform as well? Yes, these are all part of the SAP NetWeaver platform and print publishing is an extension of the capability to product content management. By definition, this is the case since the former A2i xCat application, now further augmented and known as SAP NetWeaver MDM 5.5, is part of the SAP NetWeaver MDM family of products. 24. How will MDM fit into Enterprise Services Architecture? Which Web services will be provided and when? TMDM is integral to SAP’s ESA strategy. The initial list of documented Web services with MDM 3.0 were provided with MDM 3.0 information release. These refer to the ability to access master data information in MDM as a service to create records, etc. New web services will be available as per the roadmap. With SAP MDM 5.5 in conjunction with SAP Exchange Infrastructure, one can create web services by exposing MDM functions using MDM JAVA or .NET APIs. 25. What tools are available to integrate SAP MDM and other non-SAP applications and platforms? SAP MDM 5.5 exposes its core functions using published JAVA and .NET APIs. Any integration between MDM and other non-SAP software can be handled using APIs. Also, MDM functions can be exposed as web services using APIs in conjunction with SAP Exchange Infrastructure. Broader integration between SAP MDM 5.5 and other SAP NetWeaver components will be available through product roadmap. 26. What options are available for resending from MDM within XI or R/3 in case an update fails? If the failure lies with XI or R/3, the same XML can be reprocessed (no resending is required). If there is a validation or data problem, the records needs to be identified and modified in MDM Data Manager Client and the Syndicator batch will resend them as they were updated since the last syndication. 27. How easy is it to maintain the front-end when the data model changes? The effort depends on the number of fields required for the front-end. Fields that are added have no impact. Fields that are deleted (and maintained in the front-end), need to be removed. Fields that are renamed need to be updated. 28. Is it possible to develop web forms (outside of EP6) that link to standard Java MDM APIs and communicate with the MDM repository? Yes it is possible as you are not limited to the use of iViews that exist. Your own application-specific iViews can be created. You can also access the server with direct calls to the API from the java environment. 29. Is it possible to assign the saved search criteria to a role or person to restrict what he or she can view in the search? The saved search option is client computer specific. That means that a user’s search criteria are available only to the user and not to other users. Therefore the saved search is not an option in this case. Using role constraints you may achieve the required results. 30. Are adapters/extensions available in MDM for integrating monitoring tools? (ie. does Tivoli register if an exception occurs in MDM?) MDM currently does not trigger external processes on errors. The system uses logging capabilities to register errors and there are specific log files for the various components of the system. If the monitoring system/s can be triggered on changes to the log files then the system can be monitored. 31. 32. For which 3rd party products will SAP provide the adaptors ? In the first phase the adaptors to 3rd party products will be provided on a project basis. SAP plans to make selected adaptors to 3rd party systems to a part of the standard solution in future. 33. Will the solution provide the adaptors to all SAP solutions ? SAP MDM will provide adaptors for mySAP CRM, mySAP SRM and SAP R/3 in the first phase. My SAP SCM will be supported via SAP R/3 in the first phase. In the next phase, a direct adaptor will also provided for mySAP SCM. 34. 35. How will SAP MDM be implemented ? Implementation services will be provided by SAP's Global Professional Services Organization as well as together with selected system integrators. RICK HORROW’S TOP 10 SPORTS/BIZ/TECH/PHILANTHROPY ISSUES FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 24
with Jacob Aere
Ahead of the NHL Draft, the NHL Board of Governors unanimously approved billionaire entrepreneur Alex Meruelo to purchase a majority share of the Arizona Coyotes. The sale is expected to be "finalized in July," according to the Arizona Republic. Sources said that Meruelo’s focus will "remain on securing a permanent future in Arizona for the franchise." NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said Meruelo is "committed" to finding a new arena in Arizona, adding that Gila River Arena in Glendale is "not viable long term.” The Associated Press noted that although the Coyotes "couldn't leave Arizona anytime soon due to NHL rules prohibiting new owners from immediately applying for relocation, Bettman pointedly didn't rule out the long-term possibility." As The Hockey News noted, one thing "working in the Coyotes’ favor” in this scenario is their Gila River Arena lease. That agreement runs season-to-season, and all the Coyotes have to do to renew it is “state their intentions" by December 31. If Meruelo is able to negotiate an arena deal elsewhere, extricating the Coyotes from their Glendale commitment will be relatively simple.
The Rays have "received permission" from MLB's exec council to "explore a plan in which they would play early-season home games in the Tampa Bay area and the remainder of the year in Montreal," according to sources. While the plan is in its "nascent stages, ESPN noted the Rays have embraced the two-city solution as the most feasible to saving baseball in the Tampa Bay area after years of failed attempts to build a new stadium in the region," according to sources. The Rays would play in new ballparks in "both the Tampa Bay area and Montreal," according to sources. The ability to play games early in the season in Florida "would preclude the need" for a domed ballpark, "cutting the cost of a new building.” The plan faces "several significant hurdles before being implemented," and it likely would not be in place until at least 2023. Reports of a potential schedule sharing plan have "surfaced several times in recent years from Montreal media." The Rays rank 29th in attendance only ahead of the Marlins, averaging 14,545 per game. While this bold plan is not likely to come to fruition, it is only the latest creative gambit by a pro sports team to strong arm its home city into ponying up funds for a new stadium.
Adidas is accused of discrimination by employee group. Adidas built its brand in the U.S. by embracing influential African-American athletes. However, fewer than 4.5% of the workers at the company's North American headquarters are African-American, per the New York Times, and members of that cohort say they feel ignored and sometimes discriminated against. This lack of diversity has led to multiple tone-deaf decisions that African-American employees say could put the entire brand at risk. One prime example of this is Adidas’ releasing all-white sneakers to commemorate Black History Month (which the company discontinued after an outcry). The European Union General Court also recently ruled against Adidas' claim that its famous three stripes, applied in any direction, deserve trademark protection. The case was a rare legal loss for Adidas, which has earned a reputation in the fashion world for aggressively litigating against anyone who uses a trio of stripes in their collections.
The Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District board of directors held a public hearing on the proposed "special evening service to Warriors games" at Chase Center. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the proposed Chase Center ferry from Larkspur would "replicate an existing special event service to Giants games at Oracle Park, which costs $14 for each one-way ticket." Staff at the bridge district "recommend the board set the same fare for Warriors games to recover all operating costs." The Water Emergency Transportation Authority is "pursuing a separate ferry line to carry East Bay fans from its terminals in Oakland and Alameda.” While the Bay Area has long provided special ferry routes to sporting events, just as many other cities routinely provide expanded transit service for sports fans, New York and Seattle are among the only other major metropolitan areas in the U.S. to routinely get fans to games across the water.
Cubs considering sportsbook at Wrigley. According to Hashtag Sports, the Chicago Cubs have considered opening a sportsbook at Wrigley Field and at locations just outside of the Friendly Confines. Betting windows, automated kiosks, and even a full-blown sportsbook venue inside the stadium are among the options that have been considered by the Cubs and other Chicago professional franchises, as Illinois prepares to put it new sports gambling law into effect. MLB currently prohibits sportsbooks, including betting kiosks or windows, inside a club's stadium. The NBA has similar rules in place prohibiting retail sportsbooks from offering in-person betting inside arenas. The leagues are reviewing the Illinois legislation. If a bill is passed in Illinois, it would mean that other state-based teams, including the Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, and White Sox, could also apply for a masters sports wagering license, which is said to cost $10 million. Also heating up Chicago this month – the annual Association of Luxury Suite Directors conference, where Rick will serve as master of ceremonies June 30-July 2.
USWNT enters mediation over salary disparity. In the three years after they won the 2015 World Cup, the U.S. women's national team generated more game revenue ($50.8 million) than the U.S. men's national team ($49.9 million), according to audited financial reports acquired by the Wall Street Journal. The women's team's ability to match, and even exceed, the men's team in game revenue is a key factor in their ongoing gender-discrimination lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation. Last month, U.S. Soccer responded to the suit by emphasizing that any alleged pay differential is "based on differences in the aggregate revenue generated by the different teams and/or any other factor other than sex." But while men's games used to bring in far more money, the women's team has closed the gap. While our national teams also generate revenue from sponsorship deals and broadcast rights, as the WSJ points out, "U.S. Soccer sells broadcast rights and sponsorships as a bundle, not separately for each national team.” That makes it difficult to parse the value between the men's and women's teams. Here’s a fair solution: give the men and the women the same base salary and then allow them to earn bonuses based on ticket and merchandise sales and anything else that can be tracked.
Gatorade has a new media strategy to make video everywhere with an AR Snapchat lens. According to Digiday, Gatorade debuted a new augmented reality lens on Snapchat on June 20 as a follow up to the animated world of PepsiCo’s “Sisters is Sweat,” where the lens followed the journey of a young girl and her soccer ball. The upcoming AR lens, one of Snapchat’s portal lenses, allows the audience to get into the game and score the winning goal in AR. This is the latest Gatorade experiment with Snapchat, where the brand has found success with games like Serena Williams’ Match Point and filters. The brand had pivoted away from thinking about video in terms of linear, online, and premium channels to instead be wherever its athlete audience will be. That’s why the PepsiCo beverage brand is planning to spend 45% of its media budget on digital this year, an increase of 11% from 2018’s 34% on digital, with the majority of that spending focused on mobile.
NASCAR’s Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America raises $1.7 million for Victory Junction. 250 participants completed the charity’s longest route ever, nearly 3,700 miles – from Kent, Washington to Key Largo, Florida – to raise funds to provide a life-changing camp experience for children with chronic medical illnesses. According to Kent Reporter, the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America celebrated its 25th anniversary with its funds raised directly to benefit Victory Junction. The ride’s donation supports maintenance programs, building projects, and summer camps. In addition to the more than $1.7 million raised by the ride, a $2 million donation was presented to the Kyle Petty Charity Ride Trust by the Andreas family in honor of a beloved Charity. Victory Junction has served as the Ride’s primary beneficiary since its establishment by Petty and his family in 2004 in honor of his late son, Adam. Since 1995, 8,650 riders have logged more than 12.4 million motorcycle miles and raised $18.5 million for Victory Junction and other children’s charities. Getting together to cruise across America, this year’s Ride featured several celebrity riders, including NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Petty and NASCAR legends Harry Gant, Hershel McGriff, and Donnie Allison who helped to create a near $4 million change for children.

Former NFL official Mike Pereira helps military veterans through officiating. In 2015, the former NFL official forged a second career as a highly respected rules’ expert on Fox Sports’ NFL and college broadcasts. The ex-official then met some military vets in Los Angeles and realized that these men had acquired the same skill set through the military that it takes to be a good official. That’s when Pereira realized he could give scholarships to vets to become officials, and get them off of the streets. Since the inception of Battlefields to Ballfields in 2016, more than 220 vets have been given scholarships to get them started on a career in officiating in football, baseball, and basketball. According to the Democrat & Chronicle, the money covers the cost of their training, uniforms, equipment, and local and national association dues for a period of three years. One thing Pereira loves about getting vets into officiating is that of all the people who could ignore the abuse from fans and coaches, the former official realized that no one is better suited than veterans.

Kinda sorta a review/riff of one of Richie's fan-fics
Posting this before I have to leave for the morning.
There is an ocean of Smash crap within Richie's FF.net account so I went ahead and picked out one that didn't involve Crash or Digimon. A Super Smash Bros. x Playstation All-Stars fic at that. thanks to @goddamnitsupersaiyancrash for inspiring me to open this back up.
Keep in mind FF.net hates copypasting, while tumblr hates large images, so… I have to fucking summarize this bullshit.
*ahem*
Introduction Chapter
Richie puts an author's note stating he's been busy with dA and stuff. And states that this is Smash Bros. x Playstation All-Stars except with tag-teams.
Promising idea, let’s see how he botches it.
Lazy intro copypasted from PSASBR itself, except with the "teams" and Nintendo characters.
Polygon Man teamed up with Master and Crazy Hand... Well, better than that butterfly-bastard Tabuu I guess.
Also description says that Heihachi teams up with Big Daddy, a partnership that makes no sense… But you never see Mr. Bubbles anyway and he is replaced with Zeus.
Sir Daniel and Fat Princess were also meant to appear against Marth and Ike, but never did. Thank fucking god, one of my favorite PSASBR characters was spared from this. There’s only ten chapters of this, one which is the intro I just summarized above.
Only three of the rivalries make sense anyway.
--
So, let’s start with who else but Mario and Link?
Mario and Link meet up with Peach and Zelda. The hands are back they say, but… Master and Crazy Hand were never evil to begin with??
It's confirmed that Master Hand just plays with the Smashers for amusement. He is one who creates. The left; Crazy Hand, is the destroying and kinda nutty. As far as I’m aware, the Smashers hold no real animosity towards the hands, it’s all mainly for fun. (Except in SSE, where Tabuu was controlling them)
…
OOC Counter: 1 (yes, this is gonna be a thing)
Also Link talks again in this fan-fic. Unless it's in a comic or a silly video, I just dislike it when Link talks in fan-fics cause all I can hear when Richie writes him, is the 80's cartoon Link.
Granted in most of these SSB x PSASBR fics, Link is portrayed as quite an asshole. Even in the alternative fan-fic not by Richie (yet he kinda plagiarized on dA) that has slightly better rivalries, Link was a dick to Sir Daniel. Which is odd, because if you go by fan depiction, Fortesque is one of the nicer/less hostile All-Stars. I imagine at worst, there would be a confusion, and not hostility on purpose, but enough on that.
OOC Counter:: 2
So Link and Mario set off to this strange world, where they meet… Who else? Kratos and Sweet Tooth, who attack for no reason.
Of course, Kratos attacks first, Sweet Tooth just calls Mario fat... When he really shouldn't talk at all. Kratos says he'll kill the gods when he's done with them, and Link thinks he means Hyrule's gods.
Not that it's possible at all to find them anyway, why is Link worried? The goddesses of Hyrule are pretty elusive. Now, if Link was worried because Zelda is the mortal reincarnation of Hylia, that would have made sense and would be clever.
OOC Counter: 3
Once they're done, Master and Crazy Hand plead for Mario and Link to help them. Polygon Man was merely controlling them. I guess expected, since as I said, they are not really evil… but in that case, Zelda should have pointed out the hands had been acting out of character, so I’m not revoking that first point in the counter.
Nothing really happens. They beat Polygon Man, come back home, Bowser and Ganondorf returned, but the good guys have Polygon Man's powers.
–
So what to Kratos and Sweet Tooth offer? A better scenario actually, if just for the dialogue.
Kratos is advancing Olympus, when somehow a portal opens up, Richie makes a mistake I guess cause Calypso is mentioned, and Sweet Tooth's truck appears.
What's the first thing he does to the guy who knocked off his ice-cream cone and didn't pay for it?
"sweet-talk Kratos into something"
… No homo.
"Well, if it isn't my very own cupcake. How are you?"
That's it. I'm done here. Sweet Tooth is already the most likable character, even though I'm pretty sure Richie doesn't know shit about Twisted Metal.
And considering how everyone else is an jerk later on, you'll agree with me.
Kratos tells him to screw off, but then Sweet Tooth mentions the "so-called god", Polygon Man has returned and there are fresh faces. As such, the clown says they should form an alliance.
He agrees to Sweet Tooth's offer to rid of their common enemy, and head for Polygon Man's base.
… I dunno if I'd put this on the "Out of Character Counter", because even though they would disagree a lot and get into fights with each other, Kratos and Sweet Tooth would have a charm as a team.
Sweet Tooth is admiring his ice-cream, fireball knocks it out of his hand, and Kratos… smiles!?
OOC Counter: 4
Mario then declares that he and Link will stop the two from reaching the power P-Man has. Once again, Link is a presuming dick that thinks Kratos will kill Hyrule's goddesses
Kratos thinks he means the Greek Gods. I think in both scenarios, Link manages to make Kratos and Sweet Tooth look like the good guys. Wonderful job, Hero of… Twilight?
Same scene, just not with Master and Crazy Hand talking. Sweet Tooth nicknamed Polygon Man too.
Kratos and Sweet Tooth's endings from PSASBR are copypasted, only difference is them parting ways.
… This isn't the first time I've seen borderline homo Sweet Tooth in a SSB x PSASBR fic either. Thanks Richie. I'm sure he never intends on homosexuality with non-furry characters.
How I would improve this:
Have Link not speak, and fear Kratos because he could be threatening Princess Zelda with his threats against the gods, and be somewhat uneasy on facing him.
Remove the obviously plagiarized intros and endings.
Not really much to change here, it’s pretty… alright. That’s all I can say so far. Alright. It gets worse later on.
Now keep in mind, the "Out of Character Counter" thing is gonna be around for a while, and not meant to be taken too seriously… And there's nothing wrong with fooling around with character, I did it more than you would think back when I was writing.
Buuuuut I tried to do research before going on with that stuff. To be continued, hopefully when I get home.

4 steps to follow in writing a Federal RFP response
While responding to a Federal contract many times we come across statements like this one
“In addition, TGC Section 2157.0685 requires that state agencies procuring more than $50,000 worth of services from DIR Contracts must submit their draft and final Statements of Work to DIR for review and approval prior to making payment to a DIR Contract Holder.” The reading between the lines and understanding of the meaning and referring to the TGC Section 2157.0685, becomes a challenge for even seasoned professionals writing a RFP response.
The key steps that one needs to follow in a Federal RFP response are listed below:
1. Check the qualification and submission details
If your firm is registered in Florida and you want to respond to a RFP that is floated by a department for Arkansas, check whether the qualification criteria allows “out of state” bidders to bid for the proposal. Also check if there are other qualification criteria such as set-aside, company turnover etc. Alongside these factors check the important dates for the questionnaire, reference submission and final submission. All these details should be noted and put in the tracker so that they are not missed.
2. The format of the response
The format of the response can be a 2 part, 3 part or even more depending upon the RFP that you are responding to. In the most common scenario, the respondent has to answer to the technical and the commercial sections of the RFP. In a different case, you may need to add additional documentation for special cases such as MBE/WBE set asides, Company information, experience details, Insurance details, W9 forms, certification of good standing etc. Ensure all these documents are in place before the final submission date.
3. The response structure
This is the most important part wherein the real skill of the response writer comes into play. For example in some cases, there may be a requirement to write a specific section on marketing your services if your company is shortlisted for the contract. This is when you are responding to a Master Services Contract.
Now suppose you are working on any multilateral agency RFP and you are required to respond to how you will manage a facility management service. In that case, the challenge will be to explain how the company will manage the entire work depending upon the scope of the work provided in the RFP document.
Similarly, whether you are responding to a dental service checkup contract for the military or a software solution development, writing the technical part of the response calls for specialized skills.
You can face challenges in multiple sections. It can be Health and Safety at Work, Contractual Mobilization, Quality Control etc. For each of these sections, you have to understand and curate the content to make it appropriate for the response. The way to resolve this is to understand the situation very well by reading the RFP and also referring to existing material and aligning the responses to the queries put in the RFP.
All the mandatory sections of the RFP need to be responded. The evaluation team has to go through multiple responses so one way to disqualify a bidder is to see if they have omitted anything that is mandatory. Therefore your response should not miss out on anything important if it has to be a winning RFP.
Companies like ours specializing in federal government proposal writing services can be beneficial for supporting your team.
4. The financial response
The financial section calls for clinical precision to make the quote become L1 or in the Top 3. There are different types of formats in which the financial proposal needs to be responded. In the first category, if it is only about providing resources then the hourly rates including all benefits needs to be included in the quote. In the second case, if it is a solution that is being offered, or a comprehensive quote for any services for a given period of time then it has to be a competitive yearly quote for 3 years + 2 optional years (in most cases).
Finally do not forget to attach the documents in appendix. In some cases we have worked on addendums that have run to 50-60 pages that had CV’s of professionals, Purchase orders snapshots, company credentials, client compliments etc. Some may be relatively simple that will only require your W-9, Insurance credentials and references.
A final thorough quality check needs to be done and all the items in the tracker need to be ticked for conformity. The final step is the submission. In some cases you may need to login to the portal and submit the response while in some cases it will be to a specified email id. Ensure that you do not wait till the end moment to submit the response. It should be done atleast a day before the final date. Do not try and submit too early as you may miss out on any additional addendums that may be released late.
We are working with different companies across segments to help them respond to their RFP’s effective thereby increasing their chances of winning manifold. If you are looking for a professionally written RFP response services drop in a line at [email protected]
