"Hindu" is it a religion ,
Actually Hinduism is not a religion,
It’s Sanatan Dharma and it’s also not a religion,
It’s like science and it’s a way of life ….
Other religions were founded by some or the other one but Sanatan Dharma was not founded by anyone just like science . Science was not created by anyone , theorems and rules that were contributed by the scientists, in Sanatan dharma too many saints contributed with many rituals and rules along with their perfect arguments…
As Sanatanis we should be proud of ourselves, not to be ashamed…

are there any hindu star wars fans out there? i want to write like a serious meta about star wars and hinduism, and i want to consult other people's views and opinions before publishing a piece that might misrepresent our religion and way of life.

Religious Studies Term Of The Day: Bhakti
Hey everyone. So yesterday, I posted this big thing on the Atman, the self, and it’s importance to Hinduism. It is the key to one of the three paths of Hindu salvation, which is not like Abrahamic salvation of getting to go to heaven. Rather, it’s liberation from being born and reborn again and again. If you know your self deeply enough and can realize the truth, then you will be liberated.
Bhakti is a second path to liberation.
Bhakti means “devotion,” which more specifically implies devotion to a specific god or goddess in order to secure your liberation. If you can’t find the way out through self-exploration, connecting with a god that can help guide you to liberation would be ideal. That devotion then, in turn, becomes the foundation of many forms of Hindu ritual, such as the Puja, a practice I’ve seen performed at a local temple, a story I’ll talk more about when more relevant terms come up for it. Ultimately, the Hindu is like the Abrahamist in this way: be devoted to God, for this love is what saves you from this world.
Anyway, that’s all I wanted to share today. I hope that you all are doing well and staying safe out there. Goodnight everyone!
