Remember what you are fighting for.

Do you know what it’s like to fit in? No? Neither do I… Spending everyday feeling like nobody wants you, everyone talks about you behind your back, looking in the mirror and hating what you see, having hurtful words echoe through your head everyday reminded you of how little you mean, everything that’s wrong with you and how unwanted you are. Having no support, or little to none. Having a parent trying to tear you down like a crushing wave just when you start to stand up on your own. Everyday is a struggle, you just want to give up.

My life is like standing in the ocean when the tide is going out, your fighting the current, and the wind is creating powerful waves that want to crush you. Finally you get to a point where you want to give up, and then a glimmer of hope. You see that smile, a perfect little face looking up at you with a look full of unconditional love and pure happiness, it melts you inside to see his eyes just sparkle. You can’t get it out of your head. It’s there every single time you feel like giving up it reminds you what your fighting for. You see this amazing little person, half his features are your own, half are his fathers and it makes you think, maybe I’m not such a fuck up… I created that perfect little boy in my womb, love and nurtured him for nine months. When I look at him I just know, I can’t cause him pain, I need to be there to love him.

When you see such an amazing creation, you just forget. You forget all the fat jokes, all the time you were called ugly or fucked up, you forget when your parents tell you how unwanted you are. Next time you feel down, just think of your most prized possession. Then remember it’s yours, nobody else’s, just yours and nobody else can achieve that other than you. You only have it because of your actions. You can’t be such a fuck up if you obtained it. If you take you life you’ll lose it. I want you to fight for your most prized possession because when you lose it, you truly become nothing.
