Officially finished my 4th term and 6th class. The last step in this term was this damn 20 page paper and my final which I finished today! I now only have 2 terms and 4 classes left and I will be done with my Masters!!

This term was definitely my most difficult by far!! I almost wanted to drop this term, but I knew if I did I would have to take it at a later time so why not just do it?! Plus my hubby kept pushing me. 🥰 Without him I wouldn’t complete half the stuff I start.

Let me reintroduce myself.

My name is RIMIDI.

I am a multi faceted being with many skills, talents and abilities thus it is very hard to put me into a box or to give me a label. The same applies to the music that I make. I am many things and all things good. This page is dedicated to the work that I do along with my team in relation to music and spirituality.

Many know me as a singer, artist, songwriter and musician but these days I simply call myself a Creator and Mystic or on my best days: a spirit. Reasoning, which I have no need to give, is because I create many things such as music, film, art, experiences, consultation and mentorship. I am a creator, it is what I do - create. I am a mystic because I believe in and seek the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect. I love to question the unknown; however, I am also an intellect and I love sciences and technology. Spirituality, though and right now, is my most favorite aspiration as I desire to truly connect to myself and master myself and energy. We are all creators and we are all in fact spirit.

That is what I am here to show you through my actions and guidance that you, too, are able to create your reality. I want you to really get to know yourself beyond what the media and/or world has portrayed. Everything is energy and everything is mindset. Change your mindset, change your life.

Be who you are. It’s time to remove the mask. All that matters is that you love who you are. Get to know yourself on a much more intimate and spiritual level through spending alone time with self and through acts of self-care, self-love and meditation. In doing this, you will be able to create stronger boundaries and higher levels of self respect for yourself. You will become free to be your authentic self regardless of what others perceive because who the fuck cares what they perceive. If what they are offering is anything other than constructive criticism to make you better, keep being YOU, wearing what you want, living how you want, doing what you want, etc!!! In fact, what they think will be super far from and your least of concerns. Trust me. You'll be so tuned into yourself that the world around you will just become a playground and you'll be too bust playing and growing. Do the work required without worry and when you worry redirect that energy into your self, family, work and/or passion projects. What if I told you that in the end, it will all work out? It always does, right? In the end, it always works out when you look in hindsight.

Be that energy. An energy of optimism, an energy of faith and an energy that trust the process.

Be easy.

This was last year - August 2020. The start of the homeschool journey with my high school daughters. One year before that, I left my full time job as a public school middle school teacher. I was getting so annoyed with the public school system both as a parent and teacher. Then, BOOM - the pandemic. The first week of school, the system crashed and most children were unable to log in so I took this incident as an opportunity to do what I had been affirming out loud almost everyday as I came to the end of my career as a middle school teacher. It has been a ride, I must say. I have changed their curriculum a few times as I navigated this new territory. I've learned a whole lot since we began and I am still learning actually and discovering new things!! I honestly wish that I had started a long time ago because I would be a pro by now. I discovered a little before the second semester of last year that they could take dual enrollment classes and kill two birds with one stone since we are taking the college path. So, yea, they've been taking college classes since last semester. They are currently in the 11th and 12th grade. My 11th grader is technically a 12th grader now and is tracked to graduate from high school next semester. My 12th grader would've been done too had I known better. I tell her that this is the unfortunate part of being the first child. You usually learn most about being a parent from the first child and improve as you go. Either way, I am grateful that we even started and took this route. I am looking forward from this point and have NO REGRETS!! This is the best decision that I feel I could've made for my young adults. Yea - it come with a lot of resistance at first but they have been seeing the perks that has come as a result of taking this path. Maybe one day, I'll have them speak their truth regarding this. Anyways, the reason I am posting this video today on this lovely #InspirationalSaturday is because I want to inspire those of you that have been desiring to take this route. I also want to speak out more about this so I feel that this is a great way to begin opening this conversation. There is so much freeness in being able to unlearn and mold what school looks like and the education for your children. The best thing I've gained through all of this is creating a path that is designed best for my children all while watching and guiding them up close and personal, making us first. Since my surgery last Monday I haven’t been on a walk. In fact, it’s been two weeks since my weekend walks. 1. I had to quarantine a week before. 2. I had to heal a week after. With that being said, I received my biopsy results last week and I have been diagnosed with Chronic Endometriosis. Yep, another lifelong disease to add to the list. Chronic pain and disease is not something new to me. I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areota at age 3, Hashimoto Thyroid Disease at age 11, Alopecia Totalis at age 15, Crohn’s Disease at age 25, RA and Anemia at age 32, and here I am at 34 with Endo - but I will not let it slow me down. Without these challenges I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today. These past couple of months I have been finding my inner peace and having a different mindset in life. I have been finding my outlets - whether that be through exercise, eating healthy, a little yoga, getting cozy on the couch reading my favorite book, writing, or hanging out with my beautiful family. All of which have helped me immensely. So here I am saying you can do it. Work on yourself. Love yourself. Find your outlet. Whatever life throws at you, don’t let it bring you down, take it as a lesson and a stepping stone to the next level, and become a better you - mind, body, and soul. 💪🏼❤️
