Dear Firdous,
Thank you for making me realize that sometimes in life, listening to our hunches lead us to situations jahan hamare apne faisle hamare samne aankh dikha kar khade ho jaate hain, but they eventually lead us to most beautiful destinations.
That sometimes, things don't go the way we want, but destiny always leads us to places where we are needed the most.
Thank you for giving me confidence to follow my dream and intuitions. Thank you for making me believe in my higher self.
Thank you for being my Teacher - inspiration --- for teaching me the most important lesson of this journey that 'why parents are called first teacher and that every and that every teacher has to become a parent to his/her students'.

In my “Momento Mori” series, I use skulls as a conduit for my emotions. It started with being a reflective piece about my last relationship. I lost the ability to believe I was redeemable, and depression took hold of me. It was not from others I measure myself by: it was my ugly reflected in all the things I could never take back. But while creating and extending this series: I learned that’s everyone. If you are struggling with identity, uncertainty, or absolute bleakness, I hope any of these works can ensure their meaning. I hope you, as my viewer, can find yourself one day.

Anger can be the most honest of emotions. Anger signals a threat to your selfhood. Anger shows up when your integrity has been compromised, it alerts you to a boundary infringement. Its goal is to motivate you to respond – to step up and push back. Anger is a wingman encouraging you to victory, not something to avoid. Anger is the cleanest of emotions.
Fudō Myōō shows that anger has a power you can use, but a power that needs to be respected. Anger doesn’t need to end up in fighting or violence, but it does need to find an expression.
Unexpressed anger either gets stuck and becomes symptomatic, or it leaks out and ruins things. Fudō Myōō is a channel for anger to be properly used in the service of justice. When he’s around, anger is a fire that burns obstacles in your path, it doesn’t set fire to you.
