NI-FI / MELUNA (SELF COVER) - TV SIZE
VERSE 1
Inner bible, how do you do? There’s no update in need. Cold eyes, dark night. Hidden behind the phone screen. Wasting away. Destined to DECAY. The sun will rise either way, so. Question for you: Is this all you can do? It’s not worth it anymore.
PRE CHORUS
If it has the room to I’ll do my very best to improve it Even if that means that I... (One small sign please)
CHORUS
Trapped in my mind There’s no mercy Tightening grip on YOLO moments How can I find Peaceful answers When my body feels Like I don’t own it? x2
This is a song I made about the INTJs Ni-Fi loop and Se grip. Hopefully it resonates.
Full song will be out eventually, I quickly slapped together a self cover for fun but idk how to miox

ENTJs in Te-Se Loop
Tertiary Se (ENxJ): As these two types overindulge Ni, they become increasingly inflexible, extreme, and out of touch with reality. Therefore, the tertiary Se function should be used to bring them back to what really matters in life. When a person listens to the need for tertiary Se development, they will suddenly start to value being more: amenable, adaptable, grounded, present, adventurous, fun (in enjoying simple pleasures), honest and accepting (about human weaknesses and limitations), attuned to beauty and the sublime. If one resists Se development, overindulgence of Ni is likely to lead to increasingly negative consequences, perhaps repeatedly shooting oneself in the foot by indulging unreasonable ideals/demands that create the perfect conditions for eventual defeat/disappointment. However, if Ni has remained chronically underdeveloped for whatever reason, a person is likely to develop serious Se looping tendencies in adulthood as a lame attempt to cope with development failure. With Se looping, they can continually excuse the lack of Ni development and justify never slowing down to properly introspect. Unfortunately, over time, this produces a creeping sense of losing control that can lead to inferior Ti/Fi grip.
defensive loop tendencies: selectively gathers superficial details as evidence to justify problematic beliefs or hasty action; believes oneself “deep” or “special” but actually cannot see past superficial appearances; impulsive or error-prone because of overlooking/ignoring important facts and details; rationalizes taking the path of least resistance instead of the morally correct path as long as desirable result is obtained (end justifies the means); does whatever feels good in the moment when feeling aimless/restless; indulges in sensory pleasures to escape from (self-imposed) stress or negative emotions; emotionally volatile, highly reactive to setbacks, problems, challenges, negative feedback; covers up flaws or mistakes instead of addressing them transparently, unable to admit to wrongdoing, unable to apologize for mistakes; prone to being over-competitive, incorrectly uses social comparison to define personal success/worth, tends to be jealous/envious of material gains or possessions that signal high/respected social standing; prone to adopting extreme and superficial societal standards to define “intelligence” or “achievement”; externalizes personal issues/insecurities by controlling the environment; compartmentalizes private life from public persona, able to rationalize doing bad/questionable things as long as public appearances/reputation remain intact; stubborn or combative mindset, defends beliefs and values with the unconscious intent to repress feelings of uncertainty or ambiguity
Te-Se loop dynamics: selectively seeks out evidence in support of pursuing goals/objectives or to justify one’s ideas and methods as being (intellectually) superior -> but cannot understand the deeper meaning and moral implications of one’s actions, resulting in critical failures that stoke underlying inferior Fi anxieties about being morally weak or spiritually bankrupt

Hello! ;w; If you're still doing the dialovers matchups, may I request one? (If not, feel free to ignore this 🥸)
I think when I like someone, I can become clingy 💀 like unless they asked for space, I'd be content just staying with them 😭
I tend to see most of my dreams as signs, especially if they feature a specific character (I've dreamt of almost all the Sakamaki brothers by now 💀) so I guess that kind of connects to my next one;
When I'm comfortable around someone, I can be very straight-forward with my whims. On the flip side of that though, I like to do my research on subjects I feel there isn't a gap I could fill on my own.
In general, I'm very introverted, and prefer to come to my own conclusions on things—it can be hard for me to ask for "real" help on something.
I think part of why I'm having trouble figuring out my dialover "#1 match," is because I have a bleeding heart that wants to be there for everyone, but I'm not polyamorous (I often compare my struggle to Vincent Brooks, from "Catherine" 😵‍💫)
I'm not the best at dancing, but I do like to, so someone that wouldn't mind that, would be a slight bonus (but not super important)
MBTI-wise, I'm either an INTJ or ISFP (the Fi / Ni loop is very real for me either way 💀) and my big three is Taurus Sun, Aries Moon, and Sagittarius Rising.
My other interests include horror (especially horror games), music, and anything that gives an adrenaline rush (rollercoasters, spicy food, going someplace new, etc.)
(I hope I've given ya enough to go off of, I can be pretty shy 😭 and I hope you have a good day! 💗🙏🏽)
I am always happy to play dl-cupid ;) your dia-boy to be is--drumroll please!--the one and only revvable engine, suba-buba. why, perchance? so happy you ask, fair maiden:
he's one undeniable natural-born wildcard at first glance, all rough around the edges, emotionally guarded, and absolutely allergic to being vulnerable
yet, underneath all the angst and that shiny silver bangs hiding his one good eye, who knows lol, is someone who craves a safe, consistent, and accepting kind of love—exactly the kind you're offering
you're emotionally intuitive and deeply loyal, which speaks directly to homeboy's inner fears of abandonment and rejection. he doesn’t trust easily, but once he does, he’d feel incredibly grounded by your presence. your clinginess (in a cute way!) wouldn’t bother him—in fact, he’d find comfort in it, even if he pretends to grumble about it. he doesn't like chaos in relationships, and your steady taurus sun + deep emotional self-awareness (fi-ni loop vibes) would really help soothe his stormy inner world. plus:
you're dream-sensitive + emotionally intuitive, and bruh is a subtle empath in his own right. he wouldn’t say it out loud, but he’d be the type to notice your moods even if you’re trying to hide them, and quietly try to be there
your introversion + emotional independence? he tots gets it. he’s not going to push you to open up faster than you're ready for. he struggles with that himself. but over time, your shared comfort in just being near each other without needing to perform would build a strong, quiet bond
that adrenaline rush-seeker side of you? subaru could get behind it. he won’t be the first to suggest a rollercoaster or a ghost tour, but if you wanted to go, he’d come along—grumbling all the way and lowkey enjoying himself.
you like dancing even if you’re not great at it—he wouldn’t judge. in fact, he might just awkwardly stand there while you dance, arms crossed, cheeks slightly red. and if you ever pull him in for a slow dance? he’ll do it, for you <3

Ford MBTI: INTP or INTJ?
This has been the fucking crutch of my existence for a while as I still desperately trying to understand Ford completely. Rather than do my very important homework, I wanna explore Ford’s MBTI type as it is all I can think about. Who is this man? How exactly does he operate? Can people, including fictional characters who feel so damn real to me, be sorted into personality categories so easily? Am I overthinking this? And, something that I haven’t even considered, is he another type altogether?
Well, I can start with what we do know about Ford.
He relies far more on logical reasoning and decision-making over emotional ones. While both types do feel emotions, obviously, feeling functions are decision makers that value morals, beliefs, and feelings over logic. The difference between INTJ and INTP is how such decision functions operate. And before I bother explaining them, I would rather observe Ford some more. Or, more accurately, write about him to get a clearer picture.
He’s heavily introverted, preferring his own company over others, and is even a bit anti-social, considering his disdain for the general populations, such as the people of his hometown and of Gravity Falls. He believed them to be very small minded, simpletons even, and either needlessly stupid, cruel, or both. While we have seen him attempting to branch out and desire socializing, the results aren’t usually pleasant, thus encouraging isolation. Still, the quantity of them is considerable, such as the lightbulb for the family (requiring him to notice its absence and to consider solving the problem, even if it doesn’t affect him in the basement), coaxing Stan to join a game of DD&MD, and even his ruminations about talking to girls if he succeeds in building the portal.
He’s extremely inventive, often taking unusual paths such as using fire to shave his face or concluding that Gravity Falls’ weirdness concentration is the result of something outside of their dimension.
The more I write, the more certain I feel that Ford is an INTP and I will explore why. I might explore him as an INTJ but not now. Not when the former is more fitting. I should also explore how Ford depicts an unhealthy INTP and is often in a Ti-Si loop. Not to mention, we’ve seen him the most in stressful situations, such as the fights between him and Stanley, the reopening of the portal, getting kidnapped for nefarious reasons twice (Probabilitor and the Security Drones), and Weirdmaggedon. Considering that MBTI is all about tendencies and preferences, it makes it difficult to consider Ford’s functions. But as I’ve explored his character, I am still confident.
Dominant Introverted Thinking: Accuracy, Logic, and a Wealth of Knowledge
Relies on multiple premises before finalizing on a decision. This one is seen best in The Book of Bill with Ford’s pro-con list about calling Stan to him. Whereas Extraverted Thinking (Te) is more about efficiency and heuristics (general statements), Introverted Thinking (Ti) opens up to possibilities, preferring to not assume right away what the answer is. Just because it has happened several times before doesn’t mean that it’s likely to happen again. There is always the risk of inaccuracy, something that Te isn’t entirely opposed to as it is more flexible. This is why Ti is often associated with extraverted perceiving functions, which are more adaptable. However, such reasoning in this function stack only applies to logic, not ethics and morals. Another way to overcome this rigidity, however, is to move past the binary… by creating more categories! Hey, it’s better than the all-or-nothing approach!
Those who use Introverted Thinking are often very precise with their words, which is seen in Ford’s writing and use of abstract language (“Sometimes the strangest things are right under our noses… And our feet in this particular instance!”) and his corrections on grammar (that Weirdmaggedon scene still feels more out of pettiness rather than a true desire for correct grammar to me, though. …Eh).
Ti Users are also prone to literal thinking, looking past context, or assuming that their conclusions are truly accurate and/or shared by the common populace. Not only did we see this when Ford comically assumed that “Batch out for Will!” was absolute nonsense (who is Will? And batch isn’t a verb, it’s a noun!), but also, tragically, when he assumed Stan’s actions at the Science Fair were intentional.
Over all, Ford’s most natural function is his judgment of probability, accuracy, and reasoning, desiring above all else to understand the world and beyond.
Auxiliary Extraverted Intuition: There’s an infinite amount of possibilities and they’re all valid!
To bypass the rigidity of Ti, extraverted perception functions come in to give counter arguments, to encourage exploration. In Extraverted Intuition (Ne), this type of thinking is very divergent, exploding with a million ideas that almost appear random, even though they truly aren’t. Rather, via the use of Introverted Sensing (which we’ll get to), Ne is constantly inspired and eager to explore the unconventional and improbable, no matter how illogical they seem to be. While both Intuition Functions connect things on an abstract, metaphysical level (such as word play or analogies), Ne doesn’t settle on only a handful of ideas the way Ni does. Ni is more profound yet narrow-minded while Ne is more explorative but flaky.
Ford’s Ne is best seen in his twelve PhDs. While a PhD is more about depth of insight in a subject, like Ni, the sheer amount of them lends to Ford’s need to explore all the ideas, especially things that are statistically improbable and, therefore, challenging his Ti. He adapted to the weirdness of Gravity Falls quite easily and, in a childhood flashback, Ford offered strange and wonderful ideas about ghostly pirates or mesoamerican gold in a shipwreck he and his brother founded. Not to mention his own quirks and rather out-there behaviors, like he switched from one thought to another. This is also seen best in his journals, full of rather unorganized ideas and observations and jokes, and in his hobbies such as DD&MD (it’s full of risk and imagination!)
Tertiary Introverted Sensing: The Details and The Past
A perceiving, learning function, introverted sensing (Si) is all about reviewing past experiences and comparing them to the present, favoring the tried and true over the unconventional (unless you’re an intuitive type). INTPs use this function as a way to support their frameworks and decisions, to play, to balance things out, and to correct what their more natural functions have noticed or created. This function is best seen in nostalgia, noticing fine sensory details and changes to the environment, recognizing physical patterns, perceiving bodily sensations, history, yoga and similar exercises. Unhealthy Si can often manifest as obsessive and perfectionist, or alternatively, extremely absent-minded or difficulty holding onto information on seemingly minute details. It’s no wonder that ENxPs are often associated with ADHD.
Unlike Extraverted Sensing (Se) which is in the moment, flexible, and adaptive, Si is less so as it keeps an internal record, hence why those with strong Si often have good episodic and visually detailed memory and consistent schedules. In fact, Si users tend to navigate through life via nostalgia as each and every sensory experience reminds them of previous ones, another reason as to why they favor the past and the familiar. Si users are also quite good at drawing on detailed connections between sensory inputs, such as comparing how the red of an apple is like the red of a shirt their old friend wears or how it’s not as red as the other apples they’ve eaten so far or as juicy.
Nostalgia is seen in every type, but is valued and expressed differently. And, as someone who personally lacks in my top four function stack, I have difficulty understanding it myself, hence why I had written so much about it.
That’s why Ford’s examples are starting here, so hopefully you, dear reader, aren’t too lost. Ford’s Si is best seen in, again, his journals, helping to reorganize information to later review upon and ruminate, but also in his tendency to hold grudges (aside from his Inferior Fe, which we will get to, I promise). Ford also exhibited this in his exercise routines, use of yoga and meditation, and rather quick recovery of injuries. He didn’t seem all too opposed to having a metal plate installed in his head nor tattoos, both of which sound rather uncomfortable. Not to mention how he was willing to hand over his body to Bill during their friendship. It’s clear it wasn’t always this way as he was much clumsier and unathletic as a child, but as he grew older, he developed his tertiary function (quite typical in mbti typology!) and became comfortable with the sensory world, although not fully wisened to it the way more expert Si users are. His loathing of sleep and absent-minded tendencies best exhibit this. In essence, Ford gradually became more like Mabel as he grew.
Inferior Extraverted Feeling: The Needs of the Many (Can’t Stand People, Can’t Be Without Them)
Inferior functions are so damn hilarious if they didn’t sabotage us at nearly every turn. Many times, such functions are likened to that of a toddler. We love them, but we also hate them and are extremely annoyed by them. We hate the specific function within us, within others no matter their position, the general concept of it, but occasionally, it will bat its big, wet eyes at us and coo in its most enticing, adorable lisp ever. We let our guard down and wham, we’re burned out again. But unlike a toddler that needs an adult, we need the inferior function. This results in constantly repressing the function like a spring, until stress demands our attention and distracts us, causing the spring to be let loose and bounce all over the place, inwardly and externally.
Feeling functions, as I’ve said before, is best associated with how we decide upon moral or ethical decisions. Introverted Feeling (Fi) is similar to Ti in that it prefers accuracy and consistency, but it is directed to the self and to what is felt right. As an introverted function, it is also narrower but deeper, less flexible but more withstanding, and is a very loyal function, refusing to compromise or back down in the face of opposition. In short, Fi is about long-term satisfaction with the self and the heart, not wanting to live with regrets because they sacrificed their morality for something.
Extraverted Feeling (Fe), on the other hand, is more adaptive than Fi, willing to conform to social norms for the sake of harmony. Relying on heuristics of the introverted perceiving functions, Fe will approach people with a general attitude (typically, people want to be treated this way), unlike Fi which prefers a “treat people how you want to be treated” ideal. As you can see, both are actually quite fair and empathetic.
Fe users also tend to value belonging the most, often defining themselves by an external role such as a job or relationship title (ie. husband, student, teacher, etc). And while it’s a judgment function and not a perceiving one, Fe users are often easily influenced by others when it comes to emotions, resulting in a difficulty to understand their own unless it’s laid out externally. This is where Ford’s journaling and outbursts come in. (note, this is a general observation in mbti typology!)
For inferior Fe in Ford and emotional regulation, it’s best seen in two clips; when Stan interrupts Ford’s game with Dipper and when Ford tries to reason with Dipper who is panicking about his past association with Bill. In both, Ford is visibly attempting, and struggling, to keep calm while his emotions are reaching their tipping point. He yells at both Stan and Dipper and then attempts to gather himself for both his own and the other’s sake, trying to keep a calm atmosphere in the room.
As for his desire for independence from Stanley, it may be due to how emotionally loud he is, overriding Ford’s Fe radar and muddying his own feelings. Not only that, but as an intuitive with no Se in the top four and a tertiary Si, Ford could only read himself through his bodily cues, something that had to be accrued over time to fully understand. This may also explain his need for isolation as well.
But the biggest crux of them all, the most withstanding theory on Fe, is Ford’s prioritization of humanity and others over the few/the self and his high concern with his image. Both of which he flip-flops between and struggles to find a middle ground.
For his self-image, Ford has been well aware since day one that he is not like the others, that he is a freak. While an Fi user in his situation would also feel incredibly alone, they would also relish in their uniqueness, making it a point of pride and feel at ease within their own authenticity and consistency. Rather than being understood, what’d they rather have is validation and acceptance for who they are, even if no one gets them. For Ford, an Fe user, he truly does want to be understood and, more importantly, belong. He has often wondered if there is a place where weirdos like him fit in, not something an Fi user would really desire. But as this function is the lowest of the bunch, and Ford has also been bullied and ostracized since day one, Ford holds an incredibly low opinion of humanity, defying logic for the sake of pure, nonsensical conformity.
And yet, he still puts in a huge amount of effort to polish his self-image, making it accurate to himself and his best qualities, but also palatable to outsiders. This has more than likely resulted in Ford’s obsession with being worthy enough to become part of the patron of sciences, just like Nikola Tesla and Einstein. And his obsession with burying his journals instead of ridding them entirely (as well as his Ti demanding that such knowledge must stay preserved no matter what).
It’s late and I want this posted. So I might edit this later or better yet, reblog it with some editions. Or create a separate post as a continuation. I ain’t gonna proofread this because I’ve planning and putting this concept for a longggg time and I wanna kick that habit rn. Fuck it we ball!!! Sorry if it's not organized well

She-Ra MBTI
I'm not into MBTI the same way I used to be but I spent the time thinking about this so I might as well share:
Adora: ENTJ
Alright, so Adora's functions are clearly Se, Te, Fi, and Ni, but in what order? To me, she exhibits signs of tertiary Fi and Ni-Fi loop, which would indicate INTJ. However, she seems to be more naturally in tune with Se, rather than only relying on it in grip, so ENTJ may be more appropriate.
Catra: INFP
Do I even need to explain? Te grip, Fi-Si loop, just everything.
Glimmer: ENFP
Typically unconcerned with Si, but relies on it under duress, mimicking her mom's behavior after her mom died. Ne-Te loop under duress, ignoring typically strong Fi.
Scorpia: ESFJ
Scorpia's first extroverted function is clearly Fe, and given her struggle to move on from complicity with the past, Si is more likely than Ni. I actually get more Ti than Ne for no discernable reason, which would indicate ISFJ, but Fe seems stronger than Si.
Entrapta: INTP
Yes, her first two functions are clearly Ti and Ne. Probably in that order. She is the INTP stereotype.

How an ESTJ interprets the Man vs Bear Question.
My sister demanded an alias, so I'm calling her X to p!ss her off.
Out of curiosity, I asked my sister the question,
"Would you rather be in the middle of the woods with a bear or a man?"
oh boy...
X explains, "Well first off bears are mostly located in the north and creeps tend to mostly be in the south or in the cities so you're less likely to find them in the woods, or the north for that matter. Especially if they're in the woods because those men are most likely to be hunters, ecologists, farmers, or hikers... and also-" I'm paraphrasing.
X went on and the whole point of the questions totally went over her head. She chose men if you're wondering. A prime example of the ESTJ's Te-Ne loop.
She finished with,
"Why would I choose the bear if I could team up with the man to kill the bear?"
So yeah you can see what kind of person X is.
Here’s the thing, I completely agree with her long-winded assessment. It got annoying when she tried to educate me on what you do in a situation because, come on, I'm an ESTP, I already know.
Edit: I might have mistyped my sister here, she's really an INTJ who definitely overuses those two functions.

Hello! I've been on a confusing journey with MBTI so i want some insights. my first typing was INFP 468 sp/so. but after some searching and especially reading the functions descriptions from socionics, I typed myself as INTJ. im quite confident of both my MBTI, enneagram and IV , although i MIGHT be a jumper type Ni-Fi. are INTJ and sp4 compatible? if not, what are some enneagrams that i should look more into?
also your enneagram summeries are amazing!!
Firstly, thank you so much! It genuinely means a lot to me that my weird little summaries are actually a help to people!
Secondly, I have talked about my thoughts on concepts like grips, loops and jumpers in more detail on here before (if I haven’t, remind me to do that), so I'll try my best to keep it somewhat short! Jumpers are not a thing ever discussed in any of the ‘official’ theory material, by official theory material I mostly refer to Gifts differing by Myers Briggs (regardless of the fact I very much dislike this book) and Psychological Types by Carl Jung. Jung (as a system) cares very little for the introversion or extraversion of the auxiliary function, whereas Myers Briggs doesn’t believe in IIEE or EEII stacks at all. This is one one of the many areas in which I prefer Jung. This essentially means that if your auxiliary function is feeling, your type is going to be INFJ, not an INTJ jumper. Should this be the case, sp4 would very much be compatible. If you end up sticking with INTJ it would not, in this case i would recommend looking into sx5 or sp5.
That being said though, I obviously cannot tell you what to do and what to believe, these are my personal thoughts and insights, and at the end of the day the thing that matters most is that you’re learning about yourself!

Hiiii! I saw your event post and I just wanna join if its okay! I’m also curious what would the result would be.
So i’m 5’3 SouthEast Asian girly, with long wavy black hair with dark brown hues. Brown eyes, and I also wear eye glasses (because of the amount of reading ur girl need to do and also due to my crazy obsession with wattpad when I was younger 😭😂). Closet wise, I’m usually wearing some long sleeves/oversized sweater with high waisted cargo pants, chunky shoes like fila (because it adds up a little bit more of my height) ++ huge coat (perks of livin in far up north). I like doing lots of reading, if I’m bored enough, I would also read between random instruction manual or research journal or the nastiest smut / heart wrenching angst from ao3. 😂😭
I am bilingual with English as my second language (so sorry if my grammars are all wrong 😭). I’m also doing double degree in college both an Allied Health related major. I also work in a health care facility too as a part time. I like to sleep and spend my off day just for bedrotting but my very tight schedule unfotunately doesnt cooperate with me and its on me lol.
I’m just a wing-it kind of person. Very disorganize but somehow remains organize and still manage to work things out lol. I would schedule all my hangouts with friends via google calendar 💀. INTJ but also learned how to emphathize with people. idk if that make sense. Even tho I like being alone and just bedrotting, I prefer doing a lot of multitasking. It would be crazy to say that I like being workaholic and its crazy how I still able to maintain my social life. Other than that, from what my friends tell me, they said that I have a good insight, (i’m basically their part time therapist sometimes (in w/c i dont mind!!). Since i have a slight dark humor it adds up to my spicy witty remarks especially in my mother tongue, and very mic dropping sarcastic statements.
Sorry if this is very overwhelmingly long! Anyway either way, i love love love your works!!! Your works is what makes me energize during my tiresome clinical shift. Sending lots of love! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Hello friend 🌸, you seem delightful with all your hobbies and personality quirks. Love the wittiness and willingness to make others feel better. I am elated to hear that my works help you.
Because you are the perfect mix of sassy and sweet, while making others feel comfortable in expressing themselves, I see you doing well with this guy, who is messed up in his head sometimes but will love you like a madman.
I ship you with none other than Colonel Caleb.
Tumblr media
You both are the life of party wherever you walk in.
Tumblr media
You’re fixing your earring, just about ready to leave, when a blanket ambushes you.
"AAAH—" You stumble straight into his arms. "Caleb! Shit, what are you doing?"
You laugh as he spins you around, the blanket still tangled around you.
"I just got ready for our date! We’re going to be late for the movie!"
A series of soft kisses trail behind your ear.
"We don’t have to go," Caleb murmurs, his arms locked firmly around you. "We can stay home."
You turn in his embrace, arms looping around his neck.
"Why?" You narrow your eyes playfully. "You planned this for so long… don’t tell me you’re finally afraid of the trailer?"
A smirk tugs at his lips.
"Did I not say a horror movie was a bad idea?" You tease, tilting your head.
Caleb chuckles, shaking his head. "I am not the one who screams like a child, darling."
Leaning into your palm, he gazes at you with pure adoration.
"Besides, you just got home after such a long shift." His hands glide over your back, kneading gently. "I can make us something good, we’ll put on a movie, and just chill here instead?"
You hesitate. "But the reservations…"
Even as you protest, your fingers move to tug off your bobby pins.
Caleb grins, knowing he’s already won.
"Sooo… what are you cooking?" you ask, the weight of an outdoor date night slipping away.
You change into your pajamas and trail after him, watching as he steps into the kitchen to prep dinner.
Watching him cook made you happy.
Only second to eating his cooking.
Home was your comfort place.
And so was he.

@mbti-notes
Hi MBTI-Notes, I am 28M. I need help analyzing myself. I have this urge to identify what my MBTI is and my mind tells me that when I find the perfect answer, I will be able to grow properly and solve issues only then… I feel comfort predicting and gathering information (Ni?) even obsessing with this topic (Ti loop?). I read and watch videos to find the truth, to finally find myself. I am restless and also addicted to sweets, gaming, 18+ content, binging tv series whenever I feel overly stressed or bad or just unable to handle things…
I have been in search for my MBTI for 3 years now and started with the 16 personality test from Briggs ended up being ENFJ. Later I became ENTP for 1.5 Years now. But recently I started researching the functions and everything changed, I feel that I have more insight about myself. But the more questions I can answer the more uncertainties arise.
I have been bullies as a teen because of my unique looks and behavior. Also having parents that were immature in their behavior so I learned to be someone else entirely and forgot who I am. Thats the reason why I am trying to learn psychology and the functions, to put myself somewhere and feel like myself but also find the right path into the future.
I have so much chaos in my mind, what is right and how I should be, what should I be doing? I have this burning desire to become something great, to create something great, to finally find what I really want and spend all my energy getting there. But so far there are only contradictions. (Ni without proper Judging function?)
So many types fit me so that I don’t even know but I want to be sure.
I have some sort of perfectionism problem.
I used to be very nice to people until these experiences from the past kinda broke me. I can’t cry, I feel like my feelings are all sealed up, I don’t feel much empathy towards peoples problems, I know that it is bad what they feel but I just cant connect or be concerned.
For past two weeks I think that I might be Ni dominant, because Se grip seems so much like me. But also Ti grip would be a possibility because my mind gets hyper fixated on processing and finding a solution.
I behave like a “stereotypical” INTJ, cold and alone, but I know thats not how INTJs are, just to underline stereotypical.
For INFJ I feel like I don’t care about people and their opinions too much and I do not tend to people please (considering that I am mentally not so healthy)
I also think I am using Te because I try doing things efficiently, but I noticed I just don’t like spending too much time on details (lazy?).
I am so stressed because of my job and I feel like I can’t relax or recharge so I revert to physical pleasures.
Please give me some advice. And Thank you very very much in advance!

the problem is even though we know what you’re actually supposed to do in situations of psychosis we maintain a combination of “denial that this situation counts”, “insufferable intj instincts to Facts and Logic our way out of any given situation” and most drastically a lack of filter between each other and our respective thoughts. so we’re in kind of a loop of pointing out suuuper rational reasons it wouldn’t make sense for us to be dying in the arctic and cyan going Yeah well i’m hallucinating a kinder world out of a combination of hunger and scurvy and frostbite

SF9 Chani MBTI Analysis
- INTJ -
An in-depth analysis of an idol's MBTI type. Based on my opinion and observations, may change later. Not an expert.
Tumblr media
MBTI: INTJ (Ni - Te - Fi - Se)
Dom: Ni - Introverted Intuition
A percieving function that uses one's personal insights and ideas.
Chani has admitted that celebrity life is not for him and the main reason he joined entertainment was to support his family. His end goal is to ensure his family with financial security. He's not really ambitious and doesn't seem to have any other plans besides helping his family. He also does take his time to plan out things and decide how he's going to get there. Ni often prefers to plan before taking action to make sure it's perfect and attainable.
Aux: Te - Extroverted Thinking
A judging function that relies on established facts and data to create a working environment.
Chani is realistic and honest. In the MBTI interview with Hwiyoung, Hwi says Chani is the type to provide solutions rather than comfort, which is very Te. Te doms/aux would rather get to the problem and solve it instead of just complaining about it.
If he were an ENFP (Ne - Fi - Te - Si), he would likely resort to Fi to comfort rather than go straight to problem solving. He would also partake in Hwi's flights of fantasy rather than say they're silly (Hwi = INFP. Fi - Ne - Si - Te. Ne from both xNFPs would come together to brainstorm. But Chani doesn't do that with Hwi).
"He's clear on what he wants to do as an artist, the type of image he wants, and his goals as well, so you can see him grow towards that goal." - Rowoon from 2019 Ranking Box interview.
Tert: Fi - Introverted Feeling
A judging function that uses one's personal values and beliefs to compare and make choices.
Chani seems to have a bit of trouble with self expression. It may be awkward for him and so he chooses not to be very expressive. However, he's still very soft and mellow, especially when he talks about his love and care towards his group. He may not show a lot of emotion towards many things, but when it comes to the things he cares about (e.g SF9), you can really see his mood light up. Fi will open up more if it's about their personal passions.
Inf: Se - Extroverted Sensing
A perceiving function that uses our 5 senses to process the external world.
Having inferior Se, it is likely the reason why Chani can be incredibly slow moving. Se is focused on the physical world and movement. However, Chani moves very slow...talks slow as well.
"However, in everyday life, it's a miracle to see Chani moving around." - Hwiyoung in their Cosmopolitan Korea 2019 interview
___
Why he's not an ENFP (Ne - Fi - Te - Si):
I very highly doubt Chani is an ENFP...if he were, he would have to be in an Ne - Te loop or something. However I just do not see any high Ne usage in Chani in general though. Compared to actual Ne dom Inseong and Ne aux Hwiyoung, Chani is much more of an Ni user.
He's also very relatable to me as an INTJ too...And I highly doubt I am an ENFP so lmao.
Actual ENFPs: BTS V, TWICE Sana, P1Harmony Intak
If he is not an INTJ though, ISTP would be my second guess. However I don't see much Ti-Fe usage in him.

INTJ: Urges
I don't know if it's an introvert (in general) or introverted intuition dominant urge or something specific to INTJ but I've been having 2 urges: 1) create and perfect my own system; 2) deleting everything I've said or made that I no longer want to be associated with.
By system, if I were to specify or relate a real world thing to it, possibly something similar to Plato's or Nietzsche's work that doesn't end up in the self-help section of a bookstore.
There is this appeal to be so clear and concise in your manner of writing that kills philosophy for me (yes, I am that type of INTJ). It might be because I value interpretation, pluralism, and pragmatic effect of words more than being logically true. Stereotypically that's more INFJ but I don't have this inherent need to consider what the majority or what others value nor percision/accuracy of my meaning (which is very Fe-Ti). I want something useful but formless. I prefer it when philosophy was liberated and untamed. I did not enjoy analytical philosophy because of the desperate attempt to establish some correctness for the sake of clarity.
I don't like that. There's a beauty in miscommunication. There's something inherently poetic with the journey of understanding something your own way or understanding someone in their work amidst the fog of stylistic writing. There's something so timeless about it. Writing a string of words that is true no matter where, when, and what has this empowering and liberating feel to it.
That is where my love-hate relationship with philosophy teeters towards hating it. The enforced standard in thought. It kills it. That's when Plato said writing will be the end of philosophical discourse. I believe he is right. That is the curious case of the obvious. When things are taken at face value because they are so clear, philosophical discourse is left for the crazy and overthinking.
I understand the use of such a standard, which makes me hate it more. The purpose is to have a guide to tell you where you can improve. But the means of using metrics to gauge that is all the more annoying. I'd rather have someone grill my ideas in verbatim than a silent grade on a paper.
Moreover, I am glad that generative AI had caused people to distrust written work and require that verbatim interaction again. Granted, those can be draining but in a way it's exhilarating. It tells me in a sensory manner that makes sense to me that this is what I could work on, this is the part I could improve.
Anyway, that's enough catharsis and declaration of my qualms for one post. Moving on to the other urge: deleting everything that is now irrelevant.
I think it's of the INTJ-brand to seem so assured and certain that you're probably irrefutable or can no longer be convinced. I think we just come off as such because of our delivery, expression, and the obvious thoughtfulness in what we say. Despite that, there is still generous room to hear out others and understand better.
This is why I want to delete a lot of things I used to say but no longer agree with. It feels like clutter I don't need to see or remember. I've been told by several to keep it so I can remember where I am now and appreciate my growth. They're sometimes right but I find myself appreciating my present self by looking at my present or latest work.
Whenever I see some post I wrote just months ago I think I die a bit inside. It's not cringe, I'm too based for that. I think it's the blatant reminder that I could have done better at that time. I should have known better. It's the golden ticket for the Ni-Fi loop for me. I hate it.
also it was great advice to brain dump my ideas in several different media, it's a catharsis I never knew I'd need.

Hi, its me again. Hope I am not bothering you.
In your opinion, is Ratan an INTJ or INFJ? What about Amala?
Hi! You're not bothering me at all! In fact, I love MBTI questions ❤️
As for Ratan, he's definitely not an INTJ, he has no Fi and I don't see Te either. If I had to choose between those two, I'd say he's an INFJ. Although I'm not completely convinced because his Fe is too low to be an INFJ (this is why I thought he was an INTP at the beginning but I don't think so anymore because I don't see Ne in him).
Ratan is a definitely a Ni user and also a Ti user, so that leaves INFJ as the only option. Perhaps he's an INFJ with high Ti and it didn't appear he had much Fe at the beginning because he was in a Ni-Ti loop before meeting Amala and then, upon meeting her, he started to use his Fe more 🤷‍♀️ As for Amala, I think she's either an ESTJ or an ESTP. ESTP because she's restless and takes risks without thinking about the consequences (which is a sign of Se Doms). But I think ESTJ would fit her better because she's so focused on the results, which is a sign of high Te and she isn't as worried for the logic (Ti) as she's worried for the results (Te). And her restlessness can also be explained by her tertiary Ne, she could have been in a Te-Ne loop, wanting to achieve results without caring about the risks. I wouldn't say she's an ENTJ because she has no Ni.
So as for now, I think Amala is an ESTJ (like Amrit) and Ratan is an INFJ (like Kay and D'Mario) ❤️

i’ll go for f, k, n & u for the fandom asks 😊
Ask game
F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?
I've been in this fandom since 2020 so I guess this might be my longest one? I have also been on and off into Fate (/stay night, /zero, /grand order) for at least 3 years since 2016. I do tend to revisit old fandoms, bar a select few.
Actually, no. My longest fandom was Batman. From the ages of 2-11 and then revisited for a year when I was 19. A decade in 1 fandom but does it count...
K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?
Jesse Pinkman, Breaking Bad.
N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).
More Draco focused fics outside of Drarry and Dramione. More of a focus on his relationship with his family and his development of an identity that isn't tied to them or his romantic partner.
I would like to read more fics that have an understanding of the organic nature of magic in HP. Worldbuilding not being so tied to the assumptions of our modern, tech heavy world. Wizards don't have landlines, let alone mobile phones, and magical pictures don't 'restart' when they reach the end of the 'loop'. They aren't gifs.
BotTom
U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.
Hmmmm I'll avoid the obvious, ie. my current fandom.
Gilgamesh (Fate/Zero) - he's psycho and shiny. What more could you want?
Tom Ripley (TTMR) - weirdest character ever. People-pleasing anxious psychopath. Ace icon. I could write a thesis on him.
Laurent (Captive Prince) - the INTJ that all INTJs think they are. He's everything I want from a character. Truly an ideal fave (and Lamen is an ideal ship).
Thanks for the ask 🥰

ok so i was the one who asked abt the how can u be infj but also nifi, so you're typing yourself using the original jungian method when you say that and not the myers briggs. what i'm getting is that according to jung, it's not necessary for the second function to be extraverted or introverted, so an niti is intj, as well as nite? or tini and tine? I wanna know if i got it correct!
Yes, pretty much, I’m not a huge fan of Myers-Briggs’ theory, so I tend to use Jungian in general while still referring to myself as an INFJ because honestly it's just more convenient. She got a bunch of the theory wrong, such as the judgement/perceiving or rational/irrational dichotomy, but I'll get back to that later. Loops, or the idea that NiFi would be INTJ isn't something Myers-Briggs ever mentioned either, this is an idea that was created on tumblr itself as far as I'm aware, same as grips. Jung didn't really value the introversion or extroversion of the secondary function, as a person's cognition is either gonna have a preference for introversion or extroversion regardless. To Jung's theory, the dichotomy between secondary feeling/thinking and sensation/intuition depending on the dominant function is much more important than that between its extroversion or introversion.  So getting back to the weird thing with the irrational/rational dichotomy in mbti. Myers-Briggs decided this based on the first extroverted function, which is weird, because that makes types with an irrational (perceiving) function, such as Ni, rational and vice versa. If you've ever looked into socionics, this might sound familiar to you, as the socionics types, written in mbti format, don't use the Myers-Briggs switcheroo, and stay true to Jung's theory in that sense. So if you want to get technical, TiNe and TiNi are INTJ, but considering more people study mbti than Jungian or socionics, it's often far more convenient to just stick with INTP for TiNx and INTJ for NiTx.
