SIMON ZEE: "Without my sica dagger, why do you need someone like me?" JESUS: "I have everything I need, but I wanted you" SIMON ZEE: "Why?!" JESUS: "You are not alone in misunderstanding"
The Chosen - 2x5
I'm not sure if this will come out right but:
Being loved is NOT a reward for being beneficial or useful in any way. You don't become less deserving of being loved if you aren't productive for a day or if you have a bad day and can't get out of bed.
I promise. Being loved has nothing to do with how you "help" the world or those around you.

And this isn't to say that you don't matter.
You matter a great deal.
You are important, your existence is invaluable, you have an inherent and unconditional worth.
The point of this post is merely a reality check. It's to remind you that you aren't superior to others; that others also have depth, nuance, abilities, faults, and dreams. That others have faced the same trials that plague you. That you don't have to operate by some greater, more strict set of rules in order to be doing ok.
We're not the same, but neither are we all alone in our differences.
You may not be special. But you aren't alone. And you are significant.
I really cannot emphasize enough the mental health benefits of abandoning the idea that you're special.

Law thought he'd need to change the world to honor Cora's sacrifice
But he was already living Cora's legacy: Simply by being with the people he loves, the family he created for himself in the wake of Cora setting him free
You'd almost expect Law to wander alone for years after Cora's death. And in a different story? I think that's likely what would've happened so the MC could finally show him what love means
But Law met Bepo and the others within a few days of Cora's death
And so Law fulfilled Cora's dying wish — continued to fulfill that wish everyday after that, even — without ever realizing it. There is something so devastatingly beautiful about that

…imagine Bruce meeting a version of Jason that was never picked up by the League of Assassins, never regained his memories, and just kinda… moved on. Built himself a new life.
So he’s alive.
But he isn’t Jason.
Sure, he’s the same person in like a cosmic sense, but he’s completely different. He doesn’t act like how he used to, doesn’t even recognize them.
That’d probably be heart-wrenching to Bruce. Sure, he’s happy Jason is alive, but it feels hollow.
But it’s not something he can/should do anything about. It’s only a tragedy to him - Jason is alright with how things are. Sure, he’s probably a tad curious, but he doesn’t need to remember. He’s doing fine, and he doesn’t actually carry any emotional attachment to his old life. If anything, it’d probably be actively uncomfortable to interact with them - they all have preconceptions and emotional investment about him while to him they’re just strangers.

I'm begging abled people to stop saying, "I'd rather die than have [disability]!" or, "how could you not choose to die?" about disabled people being disabled. This especially for those who have an acquired disability.
Maybe this sounds harsh, but if you value the function of your body to the point where you would sacrifice your life over it, that's your business and solely your business. However, that disabled person exists right now. They exist in the same world as you, with a disability you personally would rather die than have. They are alive right now. How the fuck are you going to choose to treat them? Because telling them or implying you'd want to die than be like them is certainly not a good sign.
