For backstory, as long as I could remember, me and daryl dixion have despised one another. Dirty looks from across the room, constant bickering and name calling you know the works.

“y/n please go for me. glenn wants me to stay and take care of him.” maggie pleads, chasing me around the kitchen like we were playing tag. I sigh and throw my bag onto the counter in defeat. Obviously I cant ever say no to Maggie but why not tease her a bit before she gets her way?.

“I feel like if Glenn can survive months on the road without you, then he can survive in a comfortable bed with his DEATHLY cold while you go on your run..” I say dramatically putting my hand on my head while watching maggie stare daggers into my soul. “What do I have to do for you to say yes?” “Wash my clothes for the rest of the month. “Deal.”

So that's how I ended up sitting in the back seat with rosita while abraham and you guessed it daryl dixion sat up front looking for the best place to stop. Funny how maggie forgot to mention the biggest prick still alive would be joining me.

After what feels like a lifetime of abrahams horrendous driving, we miraculously arrive. Immediately, I grab my gun and my bag and get out of the car trying to walk towards the warehouse when someone grabs my arm. my head flips around to see none other than dixon holding me back. He had some nerve. “Get your hand off me before i shoot it off.” I say shooting him with an innocent smile. “Easy kid, we aint even gotta plan yet. Tryna get’yr ass bit?” he says just as calmly as i did almost trying to mock me and releases his grip.

”Its a fucking OFFICE warehouse what could we possibly need a plan for.” i say dramatically throwing my arms in the air and groaning.

“Alright we need to take this place in duos so we all get to go home.” abraham says holding his gun like its his first born fucking baby. “1 man 1 woman for each so you girls have some armour with you.”

“You say this like a woman can't defend herself.” rosita says raising her brows. God i love her. “Take it or leave it sweetheart, wanna stand her all day with our dicks in our hands be my fucking guest.” he says begining to walk away. Rosita rolls her eyes and ends up following right behind him

Daryl has that stupid smirk on his face “looks like its jus me and you princess.” he says, staring me down. All I can do is tut and start walking away from the archer.

God I hate him and god I hate that maggie had me stuck with him. She would hear about this till the day she fucking died.

“Not T’smart to go on your lonesome doll.” daryl states striding infront of me faster than light. “Id say its smart if im stuck with you.” I say pushing past him and opening the door to reveal a huge abandoned office warehouse. i groan like a bratty child at the sight.

“What the fuck do we even need in an office warehouse” I groan. All daryl does is grumble. Is that his only talent?

“Lets split up to get it done quicker.” I suggest. Not only would it get done quicker but I can get away from dixon.

Win win.

“If its whatchu want darlin’.” he says pushing past me to go search

God I forgot how much I hated him and his stupid nicknames he called me which he only did because he knew how much I hated it. Its like her lives to annoy me.

I keep trying to tell myself to search faster so i can go yell at Maggie quicker. this makes me completely zone in on the search and im honestly certain this lame ass office warehouse wont have any danger.

“Jesus christ” I breathe out completely winded from the 15 heavy old paperwork stuffed boxes.

Why are we even raiding out an office warehouse? How will papers and pens help us survive? Nonetheless, I have to keep searching.

After what feels like hours I basically collapse and lean into the table behind me for a moment. Its oddly quiet. The air suddenly feels thicker. I think nothing of it till im turned around only to be face to face with a walker.

Holy shi-” the vicious growls wont allow me to even finish my thought. “Where the fuck is my gun!” i cry out. God why did i abandon it. Damn me for being so cocky.

At this point all i can think to do is run because how else do i take this fucker down. “Fuck!” of course i trip now out of all times to be in a serious situation i must trip now. Looking down, my ankles absolutely fucked. No way could I even try to get up and run now.

For once, i feel small and hopeless.

Is this really how I die? At times like these, I wish Daryl was searching with me.

All i can try to do is pushas far back as I possibly can till my back hits the wall. All i can do now is be silent with the hopes of a desperate miracle

Suddenly, all I hear is an arrow fired and the growling suddenly seizes. I open my shaky eyes to see daryl looking insanely aggravated with me.

You got a death wish kid?” he grumbles to me, yanking the arrow from the walker's cold bloody head.

Coulda got yr’self killed!” he yells extending his arm to try and help me up. “i know you love being a knight in shining armour but i cant get up myself.” now i remember why he sucks.

I begin getting up but through all the commotion I completely forget my hurt foot and cry out in pain when I try to get up. Daryl looks me up and down and eyes my foot understanding the problem. “Shh i know baby i know lemme help you.” he says completely changing his angry tone and scoping me up bridal style and carrying me to an office room. hes suddenly not completely unbearable?

If i wasnt hurt trust me id be yelling and screaming for help from your greasy ass” i grumble out in anger.He places me gently down on the floor and goes to grab old bandages he had placed on the table while scavenging.

. “Shits gon hurt baby jus hold on” you close you eyes and prepare for him to take your foot and doctor it. “And how is it you ended up actually finding something?” i say trying to ignore the pain coming for me. “Luck i guess” he mumbles.

As the bandage slowly tightens i cry out. Could he not have found a whole first aid kit instead? “I know kid i know be brave.” he whispers to me moving the hair out of my face with his free hand. Damn i wish i could say some cocky shit right now.

He continues doctoring me up to the best of his abilities without the proper supplies but it ends up being a pretty okay bandage job for a rugged asshole like dixon.

“Should be a’good till we get back.” he says staring me down. I hate to say it but Something about him is drawing me in.

I mean obviously i know daryl dixon wasnt a bad looking guy but i never realized he wasnt a complete asshole.

“Could have left me for dead” i say jokingly, smirking at him.

“T’pretty to leave baby”

I look up at his jaw agape like a drooling dog. Did daryl fucking dixon think i was pretty.

My brain goes numb. I cant even tell you why I ever hated this man. Subconsciously, I pull his face closer to my own. Inches apart, all I feel his warm breath on my chapped lips.

“Dont start somethin’ you cant finish darlin’” he says looking into your eyes like hes dissecting everything they have ever seen. “Ill be able to finish this” I say smirking he immediately smashes his lips into yours.

I immediately part my lips to allow entrance for his tongue. All i can taste on him is cigarettes.

And god did it taste wrong.

Daryl picks me up bridal style and gently places me on the table and goes in to attack my neck. ‘Lemme make you feel g’baby” he says in between gentle kisses on your neck.

“Daryl not here-” i say trying to hold in my moans. “Its okay baby im right here ill protect you yeah?”

he starts working his way down to my exposed stomach from my cropped shirt and licks a stripe up my abdomen.

I cant muffle my light grunts any longer and let one slip.

“Daryl i need.” i say breathless. “Tell me what you need baby.” “you- please.”

Immediately he pulls of my shorts and pulls my panties to the side. “God yr’beautiful sweetheart.” he says through a groan. I blush and look away.

Ooooo, ok ok actually yes i have!! Someone also requested a drawing of the Chain as the Fellowship so that may or may not be coming soon also! ;)

Anyway, in terms of how they would interact, hm. I think that each Link would kinda latch onto a member of the Fellowship that they most resemble, and kinda stick to them, but i think both groups would be chummy, and i mean, the pure defensive and offensive power of the Chain and the Fellowship combined would be immense.

In terms of similarities, here's kinda how i think of it:

Gandalf and Time: both are leaders, both are ridiculously powerful but don't use all their powers, both are kind, cryptic, and self-sacrificial, and have a soft spot for the little ones

Aragorn and Twilight: horse girls, but also natural born leaders, kinda mysterious, VERY protective, strong warriors, and extremely noble. Also they were both raised by a different people group (aragorn was half-human half-elf, raised by elves, twilight is hylian, raised by ordonians)

Boromir and Warriors: yeah so... this one is kinda just vibes. idek why, but would Warriors take three arrows or more to save one of his brothers? Absolutely. Also, Boromir is a Captain (Captain of the White Tower) and Wars is too, so they would relate on many levels there about taking armies to war and what not. Also... yeah... sorry Wars, of all the ppl to try to steal the ring it would be you. So sorry. And then he'd feel horrible about it and probably cry.

Legolas and Wild: long-eared archers with long, blonde hair. nothing more needs to be said here.

Gimli and Four: ok, hear me out on this one. Four is a blacksmith. He would have SO much respect for dwarves in their weapons and in their smithing skills in mining and making armor. He would probably just see shorter guy with a beard and latch on immediately because of his grandfather too. And both are a little embarrassed about being short and would NEVER want to be tossed unless absolutely necessary. Gimli would also be very impressed by Four's skills and have a lot to teach him too!

Sam and Sky: also vibes for this one. Sure Wild might be the Cook, but no one is as kind-hearted, loyal, over-protective, and compassionate as Sky and Samwise. Both have special ladies too, and Sky would 100% no hesitation carry one of his brothers up a massive exploding volcano if need be. Both soft, huggable, but not to be underestimated on the battle field.

Frodo and Hyrule: the burdens, my friends. the burdens. Frodo has to carry the cursed ring, Hyrule has to carry his cursed blood (as seen in Adventure of Link). Both are a bit shy, but very brave and loyal (we talkin' book Frodo here) and both have to go through a ton, kinda on their own. they are also both polite and selfless and have pure hearts that help them to resist the evil thrust upon them.

Legend and Merry: the trouble and disasters these two would get into, my goodness gracious. Legend may be a bit prickly around the edges, but he's also a prankster (Entrance), similarly to Merry. However, both of them have good hearts despite how they present themselves as tricksters. They are both loyal brothers who are extremely brave and adventurous.

Pippin and Wind: mostly just personality for this one. fun, childlike energy, brave, and sometimes make rash decisions. but also kind, lighthearted, and loyal. both are the youngest so they both have to deal with over-protectiveness from the other members of their group. they are both also dangerously curious, and likely to get up to mischief if one does not keep an eye on them...

notes: cyno is so petty in this like hello,, i hope this came out okay i enjoyed writing this. it was either tigharni or alhathaim but, i didn't feel like keeping up with writing two pessimistic characters. tighnari kinda out of place tho im on cyno’s side

with eyes trained onto you like a hawk, the general mahamatra was shooting daggars from his irises, cursing both you and tighnari. cyno was leant against a tall tree, bark poking into his back, arms crossed and biting his lip. he was hiding behind the lush greenery wanting nothing more than to leave this damn forest and just take you home; to have you all alone with you only focused on him. tighnari was hunched over on the ground, an arm loosely splayed on your back with his other holding a small roll of bandages. whilst walking with your boyfriend, you had ran into tighnari with a little bunny who was bleeding so you had offered to help. you took the bandaids from him and rolled it around the white furred creature, he cooed at the animal softly as you did so.

"who knew you were so sweet with such creatures?" tighnari spoke as he pet the bunny, trying to get it to relax. his curious gaze came to face you. you let out a small chuckle.

"oh... you know, i had a couple bunnies growing up so i guess i know some things." you looked up to him, wide eyed, "its kinda weird how often you come across injured bunnies."

"is that so? well no wonder, you’re as cute as this one here..." his hand went from the small bunny to your chin, lifting your face towards him with a whisk of his finger.

cyno could kill him with no remorse, the way tighnari was touching you so comforting should be illegal. how could he be so okay with doing such a thing in front of him?

this was supposed to be a nice walk in the forest with just you and him, he was finally mustering the courage to hold your hand and here you were cuddle and google eyed with this dope. of course cyno didn't say anything, as you were helping a poor bunny and he didn't want to seem possessive. yet when his own friend touched you so tenderly he had an urge to pull out his pole arm and smack his fox friend on the head with it.

you patched the creature up, and tighnari held him in his arms like a small baby. he heard a grunt that he had looked up over to the white hair man sulking over by a long tree. cyno's brown cheeks were a dark shade and his red eyes were staring down at the grass. his foot grazing the ground back and forth idley. the archer turned to you, watching you dust the loose grass and sand off of your knees before he spoke,

"whats wrong with him?" he asked quietly. you looked up, head waving back and forth before you landed on your boyfriend who imitated that of a child casted away in the corner. you shrugged and tapped tigharni on the shoulder, telling him you'd be back.

cyno saw your shadow approaching him from the grass, he kept his eyes down, refusing to look you in the face. his breathing became irregular and his stomach felt like it was swirling up a concoction. you stood infront of him, a mischevious smile on you face before you lent down to get in his point of view.

"cyno?" you quipped, waving your hand in his face, he snapped his head away, pointing to the other direction. oh, so he wants to catch an attitude. "fine, i'll just spend the rest of my walk with tighnari." you whirled away, not letting his petty feelings bother you, but before your fore foot could even land to the ground, the snow haired boy grabbed your wrist and pulled you to him, "no." he said softly, his ruby eyes peering softly at yours.

he held you for a while, not saying anything. slightly embarassed, you turned back around to find your friend, seeing he got the picture and had distanced himself away, playing with the bunny. cyno grabbed your chin and pulled it to him, "why do you keeping seeking him, focus on me." you laughed at him, was he getting all this worked up over tighnari, really?

"sweetie, calm down okay? it snothing like that i swear, he's your friend don't be like that. you haven't even said hi to him this whole time."

"he doesn't deserve it." he muttured as he got from the tree with you hand in his, slightly tugging it like he’s trying to get you to start walking in the other direction. you let him take you, considering your work with tighnari was done with, though you felt bad to leave him with no parting words.

cyno had taken you deep into the forest, before he stopped suddenly. he leaned into your face, eyes pondering yours. he pulled your hand to rest on his shoulder as he wrapped his hand around your waist, bringing you in by the middle of your back, kissing your plush cheeks.

“whats wrong with you?”

“..you smell like him.” he pouted, hands prancing along your jawline, as he continued to smother you with his lips

“you’re so weird.”

“im weird? i thought i was cyno.”

you bit your lips, holding back a chuckle because that joke was not funny at all. yet you fell a victim to him when his gentle eyes looked at you so lovingly. even the worst of his jokes could get you to crack this way. he softly placed his lips on yours, taking in your sweet scent. he looked into your eyes softly, his cheeks still flushed.

“...you love me?” he muttured.

Kate had been acting weird lately. Well, weirder than usual.

She had gone from answering every message you sent two seconds after she received it and sending you texts in the middle of the night, to dodging your phone calls and leaving you on read.

You were starting to get pissed. At first, you suspected that she was getting busy. It was testing season and as a college student, that’s never easy. So you gave her the benefit of the doubt. But days and days went by and you were nearing the end of your patience.

But one day there was a knock on the door.

You cautiously walked towards it. You weren’t expecting anyone--hell the only person you knew in New York was currently ignoring you.

Looking through the peephole, your brows furrowed and you yanked open the door.

“Where the hell have you been?”

Kate at least had the decency to at least look apologetic.

“I uh..I uh met someone.” When she sees your raised eyebrow, she immediately backtracks. “Not like that! Not like that! This is Clint.”

You shift your eyes off of her towards the man who had been standing quietly beside Kate.

“What’s up?” you say hesitantly.

He gives you a firm nod and stuffs his hands in his pockets, leading you to move your gaze back to your girlfriend.

“You better have a good explanation,” you say, gently grabbing her wrist and dragging her into the apartment. Clint follows the two of you in and closes the door behind him.

“Sit down,” you command, pointing to the couch. “And don’t move. I’ll be back,” you say, walking away towards the restroom.

Kate follows and plops right down, Clint following her lead, finding a seat on an armchair.

“She is…something,” he mutters.

“Yeah. She is,” the brunette confirms softly.

You eventually came back out with a first aid kit. Almost, immediately you got to work and got out the supplies you needed to clean up the brunette’s wounds.

After a few moments of silence, Clint clears his throat and gets up to leave.

“You seem to have this handled…I’ll just be on my way,” he said, backing away slowly. The door clicked closed, signaling the archer’s leave.

Silence washed over you two, sound only coming from your movements and the opening of boxes and bottles.

Kate stared at you and observed your furrowed eyebrows and frowned mouth.

“Are you..are you mad-“

“Stop talking.”

“Okay,” she whispered.

Once you finished, you gathered up all the supplies and put it back in the box. Then, you sat down next to the brunette with a sigh, your eyes closed.

“What the hell is going on, Kate?”

She looked down at the ground, noting the tiredness in your voice.

“I’ve been worried sick. You weren’t answering my calls, my texts…”

“I’m sorry,” she says. “There’s been these gang members and my apartment caught on fire and I’ve been helping Clint and-and-“

“Hey, hey,” you catch her attention, leaning over to cup her cheek seeing that she was working herself up. “Calm down, it’s okay, it’s alright.”

“But it’s not,” Kate whispered. “I scared you and that was never my intention. I just wanna keep you safe,” she confessed with tears in her eyes.

“I know. But I need you safe, too,” you pressed a kiss to her forehead. “Just..promise to communicate better, alright? I’ll be here whenever you need.”

She nods and rests her head on your shoulder, leaving a kiss on your neck.

Are you all caught up on the OC finales? What did you think?

I caught up today! I thought they were fine to really good!!

Med was really solid. Surprising no one I'm absolutely heartbroken that Will is leaving but I'm glad he went out in typical Will fashion, had a really nice scene with Sharon at the end, and we got Manstead endgame. Liliana and Dr Charles are back together! They're so flipping cute, I love that for them. Dasher are doing Dasher things, I had to LOL when Hannah was like HARD NO about dating Archer and he was so offended. I think Med's gonna return to somewhat normal next season, probs the first half will be dealing with whoever buys the hospital and convincing them to turn it not-for-profit again. The only question marks for me are whether Maggie and Dr Song stay. I think if they continue to do O.R 2.0 things, Dr Song will, and I think they've left it a bit open for Maggie depending on Marlynne's health and what she decides. I was a little surprised they didn't address it more in the finale about the possibility of her leaving since the episode before made it feel like much more of a sure thing. A solid episode!

Fire was... kinda meh if I'm being honest. Like it's not unusual for me to multi-task while I'm watching tv, but I still pay attention to what's happening with the plot, but I was dicking around on my phone while watching Fire and kept realising that I was fully not paying attention to what was going on and kept having to go back and rewatch. Like, it just felt like lots of talking ha ha. I think where we go from here is super dependent on whether Taylor comes back next season or not. Feels like they're setting up Carver and Violet, which I'm not against, but haven't fully let go of Carver in his feels over Stella either, so if T.K doesn't come back and Stellaride break up (BIG IF NO ONE THROW TOMATOES) they might continue to pursue that as well. I'm more and more on the Stella/Carver train (NO ONE HATE ME) so I'm super fine with those angsty looks he's sending her lmao. Super here for the little friendship between Kylie and Ritter and very keen for Kylie to become the new candidate (that has to be where this is going). Sylvie's adopting the baby, yay for her I guess, I mean, like I said in another ask, I'm pretty sure I know this is heading for a Kara exit, which I'm not opposed to, so I'm just very.... okay? about this storyline. It feels rushed, but it's fine, and I get a Brettsey endgame (probably) so fine. And Mouch... maybe I'm stupidly optimistic but I don't think he's dying. I think Christian is leaving the show, but I don't think Mouch is dying. Idek why tbh. It's a bit anticlimatic if he does die tbh. Like he didn't even get shot, it was a random piece of shrapnel. Idk, I think he'll probs survive and then retire. Maybe I don't think they'll kill him because it would mean that PD also has to change Trudy's characterisation over on that show. Like imagine her husband dies and they never even mention it on PD 💀💀💀

PD was the best episode imo. The pacing and writing was great, even though I'd seen bits and pieces of it already online I still felt drawn in by it and I really felt the tension. I felt like Adam, Kim, and Kevin all got to shine. Hailey and Voight not so much, sad for Hailey, get fucked Voight. Absolute snaps for Kevin getting to shoot that racist mother fucker, and I know he's just a kid but lmao fuck Callum. Fuck his mum too and I hope she goes down for some of this shit. One of my only question marks is why Torres wasn't in the ep? I can't tell if it's a weird writing choice to keep leaving him out of episodes or if the actor has some sort of other commitment keeping him from being in every episode, but I feel like they either need to commit to his character being part of the team, or drop him and bring someone who will be around all the time. Burzek slayed as always, inject that moment of Kim on the phone and absolutely sprinting to get to Adam into his veins. Kim in the ambulance, and at the hospital, "Are you his partner", "You're with Adam" "I'm with Adam" yeah girl you tell that bitch. You ARE with Adam. I mean, as with every other Burzek shipper I'm annoyed that they clearly filmed a Burzek scene at the hospital and then cut it. I hope they release it as a deleted scene at some point bc I need it. I've seen the theory that they cut it because it shows Adam's alright and Paddy might leave the show.... I mean.... maybe? I doubt it. It's more likely they cut it bc the show has a hard on for Hank Voight and wanted to end on him. I think it would have been a better ending to end with Burzek because it would have been a really full circle, cyclical ending from where they started the season, and the episode, but, what can you do? I'm sure someone will write the fic. Still, despite all that, a really great episode and end to this arc.

Sorry, this got long but yeah, those are my thoughts. Med 6/10, Fire 4/10, PD 8/10.

I feel like The Reaper might be one of the best fics on my blog to start with! JK is not too scary and there is a perfect touch of horror interspersed in the story - so you picked a good one to start with!

As for a continuation, it's not something that I foresee in the future - but I will never say no. There is a part of me that really wants to write Hoseok's story considering he makes an appearance as an archer in the fic but I feel like it would be difficult to make it different from JK's story ya know? I wouldn't mind writing drabbles in the future! Hm...maybe I should do that for my upcoming blogiversary?

I read a post on some website about ENT once where they thought the temporal cold war should have ended with the Enterprise crew having to erase themselves from existence to end the war (thus explaining their absence from previous shows), making the ultimate sacrifice for a universe that wouldn’t even remember it, and while I don’t think I would have wanted that to canonically happen, I still think it’s a really cool idea that I’d love to see fandom explore.
