That looks a lot like Léa Sedoux. What if, and this is just wild speculation, this is a prequel, and we get some Peter and Fragile content 👀👀👀

For the last 8 years now, it’s been exceedingly lonely being a SW fan who is legitimately content with the Prequels and Original Trilogy as my only actual canon. The story is perfect to me as it is, and I simply cannot relate to people who constantly clamour for ‘more’.

it drives me cazy when people sincerely demand for prequel, sequel, and forevermore content, and to have every inch of every characters backstory and every piece of history expounded upon and to have it all answered by the powers that be.... is nothing sacred... that content is for playtimes in the garden ONLY!

i always wonder, why exactly does anakin hide his relationship with padme if the jedi are allowed to love?
like, if the jedi ban toxic relationships, that's okay. but, anakin and padme genuinely don't believe that their relationship has issues. we know about the insane things those two have done for one another, but no one else does. the council, obi-wan, no one knows. you think those idiots are flying their asses to tatooine and talking to owen and beru? anakin and padme just believe that they're in love. what's stopping them from having a relationship in the open? they'd still be lying about the severity of it, but what's stopping them from just being like, 'oh yeah, we're sleeping together and occasionally go out.' anakin could just simply swear that he isn't attached to a toxic degree, and the council just won't put him on missions with padme to prevent conflict of interest. i get that romantic relationships do often descend into attachment, but numerous jedi had affairs and relationships with one another during the clone wars. this clearly was not new.
like, the only way this would make sense is if everyone was sneaking around the council's back, and no one was allowed to have any relationships. i get the desire to absolve the jedi of this stuff, but not being able to love is a huge plot point in the series. nothing in the series implies that they can, and obi-wan's platonic, familial feelings for anakin are a huge source of shame for him (he's literally embarrassed to admit it to mace windu and yoda in the ROTS novel), but a lot of people i follow show that they can. removing this plot thread ruins a lot of justification and just makes the jedi order and obi-wan seem like horrible teachers for not explaining their rules properly to their student.

These rainbow puke colored ponies couldve had some deep comparison lore with Stygian. Deadass here are the comics SAYING Stygian couldve represented the element of friendship in the old pillars of Horsie Land but AUGH. HASBRO.
"If things had gone differently, you could have been Princess Twilight" — REALLY INTERESTING THING TO HAVE SUNBURST SAY, EH HASBRO? HASBRO IDW? IDW HASBRO? IDW MLP HASBRO? EH?
Also this still reads as "Starswirl did [insert tragedy here]"
The added context from the comics really does make the whole Pony of Shadows thing... worse. Like actually. Starswirl is awful.

Also speaking of possible prequels I want a dunk and egg show BUT only if it’s animated. I want to see baelor make a ‘gh!’ sound of disbelief when his helmet is taken off before half his head cleanly slides off, followed by diagonal slices in of characters having shocked reactions. Like an anime.

i do think that within the GFFA there's a misconception at some point that the jedi are allowed to get married.
this comes about as a result of the fact that a member of the sitting council has–give me a sec–five wives and seven children.
eventually, it comes out that mundi is the outlier and overall there is a ban on members of the jedi order marrying.
my point is that i think in the GFFA Spiders Georg is actually Wives Mundi.

I guess ultimately, my issue with the way some people emphasize that the Jedi code works and that the Jedi were doing really good and that they really didn't fail Anakin in any way (or at least not any way that can really lie in their fault), and the way the Order does things in the Prequels era is excellent and good overall is that -
In the Prequels, the Republic is broken. Republics don't collapse out of nowhere. Institutions don't just implode like the Republic's did for no reason. The Republic's fall was the result of generations of complacency, corruption, stultification, ossification, cutting short term deals, overreach, underaction - there's a reason so many people were onboard with the idea of an Empire at first, and it wasn't all just bribery, xenophobia and fear.
And I guess - I just can't accept that the Jedi were just humming along fine this whole time, without also turning inward too much, without also ossifying and becoming complacent. Because the Jedi were too bound up with the Republic for that to not be the case.

I got my hands on a few of Terry Pratchett's Disc World novels from someone that was cleaning up their room, namely Reaper Man, Moving Pictures, Going Postal, and Mort. Which one should I start with? Is there another book not listed here I absolutely have to start with?
