You stood at the bus stop, waiting for the last bus so you could reach your destination, your home.

In contrast of your home, tonight is one of the coldest nights you’ve experienced in a while. Unmelted snow piles, needling cold winds swirled around the bus shelter. Every time you breathe out, little clouds forms from your lips.

Though you’re bundled pretty cozily, the cold is still reaching for your hands, maybe today shouldn’t have been the day you forgot your gloves.

You rubbed your hands together hoping the friction can fight some of the cold, you peek out from the shelter time to time, it should be here soon, you thought to yourself.

The cold was way too powerful tonight, you’ve changed your method to hiding your hand in your sleeves and blowing hot air to it, suddenly another set of gloved hands reached to yours, you look up to see who it was.

The boy standing in front of you was equally fashionably and warmly dressed, a long brown coat, a black turtleneck that’s peaking out under his snuggly scarf, a pair of dark washed denims, sort of out of the ordinary for this time of the night.

As you were about to ask your questions, the boy seems like he has read your mind, “h-hi my name is Junhui, you can call me Jun, you seemed cold so I just, wanted to help…” While he was speaking his eyes keeps on dogging your gaze, as if he was a little kid that’s too shy to meet strangers.

You giggled at his shyness, “I appreciate your warmth”, which made him flustered even more. You guys chatted and kept each other company till the bus at last has finally arrived.

Jun got off a couple stops before you, as he was about to get off, he turns to you and says, “hope I’ve light a flame in your heart, you’ll never have to feel cold on days like these”.

Ink Wraith (Mixed Wraith AU)

Ink Wraiths are the little breeders of the Wraith World, and by that I mean if you adopt one, expect to adopt at least 18 more within the next couple of years. These Wraiths tend to stick together, rather than split up. They just look like a pile of goop with the top of a Water Wraith, colored with the given color of the Ink Wraith.

These Wraiths are able to mold and create new looks for themselves whenever they want, which is only cool because they are Liquid Wraiths, who tend to not be able to do that. When they do form a disguise, it only uses the colors of the Ink Wraith (Like if the Ink Wraith is green, its disguise only has the colors and shade of green.) Plus, their Ink will drip down, often overflowing onto the disguise’s neck, shoulders, and top of feet. Each Ink Wraith has their own personality, and each tends to be less or more child-ish.

These Wraiths are affected by Lumiknolls in early childhood, but when they become adults, they are not affected by the Lumiknolls.

So, Ink Wraiths are so of the oddest Wraiths known to man. The Black Ink Wraith just kept bring home kids, making a few more problems for the family than they wanted. The Black Ink Wraith is named Panthera.

Then, there's the crew of six Ink Wraiths. They found one picture of the Rescue Corps, and just went MY DESIGN NOW! Most act a bit like who they impersonate, key word, MOST. Russ's Ink Wraith is egotistical, and says they're the leader. They're not, that's Collin's Ink Wraith. Also Bernard's Ink Wraith is the oldest. Now, NAMES: The Red Ink Wraith is Alsatian, the Green Ink Wraith is Collie, the Light Blue Ink Wraith is Terrier, the Dark Blue Ink Wraith is Canis, the Brown Ink Wraith is Pillon,  and finally, the Purple Ink Wraith is Saint. If you can't tell, they are all just riffs on the crew's names being after dogs. (I'm pretty sure it's either all names from the same dog as their counterpart, or a similar dog.)

And finally, there is the Pink Ink Wraith. It's just a child. No, really, it acts like a child, because it is a child. It's the only Wraith of the family that is from the fifth generation. Their name is Kepler.

If Regulus was told 3 months ago that he was going to be in the middle of this mess he would have laughed. It wouldn’t have been that short in disbelief laugh - no, it would have been a belly laugh that came from the pit of his stomach. He just never expected to currently be sitting in a cell in a basement of this casino. 

This was not part of the plan. The perfect plan they constructed with every possibility except this one. 

3 months earlier

Barty felt the sun prickling his skin, he looked up shielding his eyes. He glanced around and took in the desert. It was hot, almost unbearable but he was finally out of that hell hole. It had taken almost three years of good behavior and cooperation for them to finally let him out on parole.

“Crouch, you know that parole is a privilege, and that privilege could be revoked if you get into any mess outside.” 

Barty snorted, leaning back crossing his arms. “Of course, I do. I told you John, I am fully intended to be a model citizen and not get into more shit. I wanna get an honest job, and probably have a family soon.”

And he fully intended for that to be true. Get an honest job, maybe a family - that’s if the love of his life was waiting for him. It has been three years without any contact, but he also understood that they were as wanted as he was. God did he miss the feeling of his lips against his lover. He kicked the sand and began his journey to the nearest gas station, pulling out the carton of Marlboro reds and grabbing his last remaining cigarette, putting it between his lips and lighting up as he flicked the prison behind him. 

It was good to be out. 

The Last Vegas strip was busy with tourists and performances. 

People were flooding in and out from different casinos, restaurants and gift shops. Many tourists chattering excitedly as they watched a street performance. Barty raises a brow, pushing his sunglasses up and crossing his arms looking at the performance amused. It was a show straight out of the circus, you could say - the two dancers moved around each other in ease, showing the different tricks and how flexible their bodies are. It was like an artist was painting and the two strokes fell perfectly together. A beautiful painting.

His eyes fell on the performer with the curls, who was glancing at his audience with an almost seductive smile and walking over to the men that were gullible enough to fall for the seductive palms. It was almost amusing how they did not seem to notice the ease that one of the performers' hands fell on the pockets of the tourists taking their possessions while they seemed to be claimed by the dry siren. 

Barty cleared his throat, stepping forward. “Sir, you are falling for such an act that you have yet to notice that they just stole from you.” 

 “What?!” The man exclaimed, grabbing one of the performers' wrist and exposing the wallet. “You little fucking shit.”

Barty smirked a bit. “Sir, don’t you worry.” stepping forward, and avoiding the glare from the curly head performer. “I’m a cop, I’ll take care of them.”

so last year during a period of intense suicidal depression i made this necklace that i always wear, right, and the thing is it's genuinely brought me a lot of comfort and relief and i've developed a strong sentimental attachment to it, to the point that i can inarguably state that it's had a net positive effect on my mental wellbeing. however i did now just have to stop to almost throw up laughing because i realised that i've succumbed to the amulet.

honestly kudos to Elementary for gender swapping John Watson in what we all thought was an attempt to make johnlock palatable to the masses and then proceeding to not only make them entirely platonic but also become the ONLY modern adaptation where i actually feel like them being platonic makes complete sense

one of my favorite subtle implications in the series is that it seems the Titan Army was fully banking on Percy being the host of Kronos. Why else would they make their main base a cruise ship if their primary enemy is a son of Poseidon? Named after Andromeda, the wife of Perseus? Why would they work on Oceanus specifically being free so much? Side notably with other children of Poseidon? Why plant Zeus and Hades' items of power on Percy when Luke already had them? Why only Zeus and Hades' items, not Poseidon's? Well because they really need Percy as Kronos' host, that's why. (and Poseidon siding with them because of that would be a bonus as well)

I like to imagine Luke's cabin on the Princess Andromeda is fully decked out with like "WELCOME PERCY" and sea-themed sheets and everything and he hates it so much cause it's a constant reminder he failed and he was Kronos' second choice. Also then he gets his super special pegasus not even exactly stolen by Percy, but the pegasus willingly defects to be Percy's personal steed instead, which must just be insult to injury. Luke has immense one-sided beef with Percy and Percy has no idea.
