#tloz#princess zelda#link#assumedly?#botw#totk#technically#loz redesigns round 2#the first great calamity#the ancient heroes aspect#the ancient hero’s aspect#art#my art#redesign#listen this is probably the one and only time ill draw something furry so if it looks a bit wonky i dont really care lmao#this is one of the few designs where im Under designing one of the characters#ie the heroes aspect is such a messy design#i went of the mural a little bit more for the coloring so a little more orangey red involved in his design#and also changing his face to look a little less offputting#and the greener looking eyes from the mural#the darker fur also helps the teal pop#but yes i made his armor a little less zonai-y and a tad more guardian inspired?#i didnt take away all the zonai vibes because he’s seemingly related to them somehow#i do wish we had a timeline for how long after rauru sealed ganon that this calamity happened#but oh well#but yeah uh zelda#vaguely based on sonia#thats pretty much all i have to say about her lmao#i used more neutrals on her dress to semi emulate the pure white of the mural#while also bringing in more of those sheikah tech colors

I'm just going to leave this at that#This was inspired by a dream I had about watching a post-apocalyptic(?) anime movie about two survivors going through their lives#Apologies if that one was yapped before in this blog. Trying to keep repeating statements already mentioned before is a habit I hope to avo#Anyway. It was almost a dialogue-less movie. actually not sure if the characters did say anything#The movie doesn't explain stuff to you. You just got dropped in a world and experience with the main characters for a few days#In the dream after watching that movie I went to Tumblr (naturally. Lol) and theories about it popped out#And there was a connverse cross-over fanart of it. Lmao#One of the main characters was EXTREMELY calm and stoic. And the connverse AU version of it was that's because Steven is in a comma and his#Pink mode activated as a defense mechanism against the creatures around while in such a state. 😭 So Pink Steven from Change Your Mind#And like. Oh? What if he's conscious? He's just watching his body have a mind of it's own and he can't control it? That's kinda terrifying#And of course like most of my dreams about shows I enjoy. so, when i say chara and siffrin would get along, i mean they would have a complicated & sometimes antagonistic relationship, but they would, on the whole, understand each-other and enjoy each-other's company. they'd often think they understood each-other better than they did, which would be a source of conflict at times, but it also means they'd have a lot to talk about!
chara and loop, on the other hand, each take one look at the other, immediately project most of their own flaws, insecurities & trauma onto them, and are 90% correct.
what i'm saying is, they would absolutely despise each-other.

#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#a-qing#xue yang#xiao xingchen#Xue yang is cold because cold blooded creatures can't generate their own body heat#I am skipping over drawing the stories they tell due to the fact this arc is already really dragging#but I think they are very key in understanding the yi-city characters#Even if they are stories that really bring down the slumber party vibes A-Qing was hoping for.#I mentioned some of my thoughts in the tags of no. 76 but to continue on a bit more#I think xxc and xue yangs stories inversely mirror each other on the meaning of sacrifice and what it means to 'deserve' something#to xue yang he has only ever sacrificed - therefore he is in his right to 'deserve' what he wants. And he wants everything.#xxc leaves song lan thinking its the best course of action to atone but my god. No it wasn't. Poor communication crown actually goes to xxc#but it's what xxc he feels he deserves - continued sacrifice to atone. He wants to want nothing.#both are very stuck in the past in ways that are not actually accounting for their actions#It's easy to look at xue yang and go 'dang you need to get over your childhood trauma'#but that very much ignores that fact that we - real human beings - define so much by our childhood pains.#Growth is having to come to terms with it and trying to move past it...and not everyone is ready for that.#I have a lot of thoughts on that matter but I'll let it be for now.#Anyways. Amiguito appears to be one of those words whos meaning change depending on speaker and contextual factors#So as far as I can tell it slides around on the scale on romantic and platonic. #art#my art#artists on tumblr#digital art#oc#pink space#i was just describing how this image feels on my Insides but it works for the title hjfsh :3#//her hair is so hard <3 to draw <3 but i love the result so much every time so i'll never stop lmao <3#i have tried using the symmetry brush for her hair before too and it Does Not Work. i am eyeballing this all the time gbghbshf <3#//my art is slowly taking on this Vibe(tm) that i did not anticipate but it's cool :D colourrrrrr#i played around with the subtract layer glitch + the old overlay glitch i used to do all the time#the ink subtracts are set to 50 n the overlays on top are 100. they're both of of the same 2 colours 👍#also still trying to figure out the noise thing! for every piece i'm picking a different layering method (difference is really cool but it#needs even More layers to light stuff back up wauhghh) and let me yap abt that rq i'm in the mood hbfhsjf#so i usually use 2 separate noise layers set to 2 different blending modes: the first one changes a Lot but the second one is usually#difference or pin light depending on if i feel like if it needs to be darker or not. so uuuuusually i put the entire main image/s in a#folder and hit clipping mask on noise-layer1 but that's a hassle (bc of the glitch layers - they don't interact as nicely w/ the bg clrs :/#so this time i set a difference layer over the whole thing and set it to 20%; then lightened the fore-image/s by a pin light layer set to#10% - that also gives it a bit of a warmer feel like tinted film i think hfsh :>#so this layer interacts with Everything! so then noise-layer2's job is to help the fore-image/s pop more (esp since the sticker-outline is#rly light n so is the bg) so what i did was take duplicate noise-layer1 -> noise-layer2 -> 20% pin light#pin light is a Great blending mode for noise i love it a lot <3 it's not great for smaller images but it's reaaaally good for bigger ones o#backgrounds lol :D#//okay i'll stop with all that now hbfshfv ; i should be sleeping actually.. good night ^v^
