Leafkit is born with kudzu around her throat. It is, of course, her daemon, her heart-plant, the other half of her soul. It is a gift given to her by the very stars above, a blessing from Starclan, and it wraps tightly around her paws, and blooms across her back, and digs its roots in deeper, as she grows and loves and loses, again and again and again. She's never been good and wanting only what Starclan wished for her.

that's right. warrior cat "daemon" au! it was a lot of fun to puzzle this one out, haha. i think it counts as a daemon au. mostly. sort of. look i consider it one and thats what is important.

its also a love letter to leafpool. but. it was always going to be, i think.

I had typed up a giant post drawing on my decades of experience with shark movies (also real sharks but less so) but my phone died and it got sent to the void so I'm just going to tell you to watch Peter Benchley's Creature. It's technically listed as a mini series but it's really just a very long movie split into two parts. The plot is nothing to write home about but it's a fun movie even if parts of it drag occasionally. The real appeal is the absolutely beautiful practical effects, they are on par with or better then the biggest budget shark movies out there despite being made on less than a tenth of the budget. Stan Winston really outdid himself.

I will do no such thing because I already did that once and it was nothing but misery and suffering and agony as I waited to go to bed thinking the movie was going to be over in the next half hour, I thought about including my hatred for the movie in my post but then I declined to do so, that movie is an ENEMY.

🥨: uhh so hard, im such a foodie, eating (and cooking) is literally a hobby for me. But maybe the biggest evolution in terms of liking was green tea (YEAH ITS A BEVERAGE BUT SHHH). the first time I tried green tea it sucked so bad for me, the bitter taste was horrible. I don’t know why I sticked drinking it, but over time it became my favorite tea. Literally can’t go a day without it during the cold seasons.

❤️‍🔥: I do believe in true love. Might be because I am an hopeless romantic, an emotional type of person and a pretty sensitive one too, idk, but true love can exist. It might not exist in how many people expect it, as something already formed, already perfect. True love can’t exist in a Cupid’s arrow, a look can’t tell a soul (beside if you can actually mind read).

I do believe in true love because of my man, with him I learned to love and what it means becoming two pieces of puzzles that fit together perfectly only with each other. I will never get enough of him, but he has seen me at my worst and I am at my best now because of him. He is the star that brings light in my life. No one will ever look at me with eyes so heavy of love. No one will ever remind me “sei bellissima” even in my worst form 2727 times a day. No one will ever make the words “ti amo” sound as melodically as him. No one will ever be the support that he is, no one will ever stand my temper has he does. Never I had to beg for the bar minimum, never he mistreated me. I believe in true love because he showed me what being truly loved looks like. And still today, I can’t quite understand how it is possible that he loves me that much, how is able to make any of my flaws a perfections. My hands were made to be held my his, our hearts to beat close. You can’t loose what has been linked to your soul.
