I read the ask about dimensional travel in owl song before the preview post showed up in my feed. I also happened to be standing in the security line at the airport at the time. I was all like wtf wtf wtf WTF, frantically scrolling through tumblr, while the poor TSA agent was all, ‘Ma’am I need to scan your boarding pass’ and in my head I was like ‘I have more important things to worry about!!!’ Luckily I chose not to create an international incident and surrendered my phone so they could scan my boarding pass. It was a close call though.
✨🦉🎶✨
Lmaoooooo, yeah that pesky security always wanting your phone right? 😭 hehe no really tho this made me grin like a little kid presented with a cupcake. I love to see that people enjoy Owl Song as much as I do writing it 💚💚💚💚🦉

I haven’t released fic on any of my blogs in SO long but something possessed me tonight and now I’m a couple thousand words deep into Google docs. I’m planning on writing a collection of how the boys handle the aftermath of their kidnappings (here a few more than Finney have survived) and their journeys with trauma, because I don’t see enough people acknowledging how a situation like that would completely skew the course of someone’s life, even with proper help.
There’s going to be ups and downs, but I promise any tears caused will be soothed with friendship, fluffy feel good moments, and therapy.
I’m not sure yet if it’s going to be just exploring that or if I’ll expand it into a bit more of a fic with an actual plot (feel free to give your input!!).
Question is, should I finish and post characters’ separate pieces one by one, or all together? Would anyone be interested in just a small snippet to wet the appetites before the individual pieces are finished?

He glanced back, the cheerful tune he had been whistling dying out when he saw that Izumi had stopped in the middle of street. She was staring down at her phone, her delicate brow furrowed.
“Hey!” Keigo called out, walking back in the direction of his baby sister. “What are you doing slow poke? We’re gonna be late…” he trailed off, noticing the tears pooling in his sister’s eyes. “Izumi?”
Izumi was trembling, her eyes not looking away from her phone.
“ ‘Zumi…” Keigo cooed, cupping her tear stained cheeks. “I’m here.”
The dam broke. Tears flooded her vision and she let out a broken sob. Keigo wrapped his arms around her smaller frame, bringing her to his chest.
“Let’s go home yeah? Boba can wait.”
Keigo let his wings form and grabbed Izumi, holding her in a princess carry as they soared through the skies.
The flight wasn’t long, maybe four blocks at most but it was the quickest way to get them both back to the teacher dorms.
* * *
Izumi didn’t say anything, handing him her phone instead. Her messages were displayed, the ones between her and Hitoshi, the last message from the sleepy teen being a photo, a photo of him hunched over someone else.
If Keigo had to guess, it was moments before a kiss took place. Or maybe after, if the tips of Hitoshi’s ears were any indication of his emotional state.
The girl in the photo looked familiar.
“Is that Uraraka?” Izumi nodded, still silent but no longer crying. “I’m gonna kill him.”
“No,” she whispered, voice sounding raw and broken.
“What do you mean no! He hurt you!”
“He’s my friend. I want him to be happy. If she makes him happy, then there’s nothing more to it,” Izumi argued.
“No, you two were supposed to end up together! You two are a match made in the stars.”
“The stars were wrong.”
