And the best of it, in this case, supposedly consists in Haewon’s hands keeping your thighs wide open as you lay on your back while her tongue takes a few short, explorative trips from your testicles, down to your perineum, applying a little pressure on it, and to the edge of your puckered hole. She brings her fingers up to your previously lubricated shaft to stroke it from time to time, but your groans when she does make them retreat immediately, reminding her that no, that’s not the main dish tonight.

Haewon starts circling all around the inner edge of your hole, making you bring a hand to your mouth to try to contain your own groans, or worse, screams. How does the joke bear get to this? How does she go from acting as the loser girl transferring schools in 7th grade for shits and giggles, to having you struggle to keep your shit together in your own bed because she wanted to, and this should be more or less the exact quote, “tongue-punch your bussy, you little boy bitch!”? Maybe sometimes it’s better not to ask. Other times, you don’t really have the physical capability to ask because your ‘friend’ (an umbrella term, but the most appropriate one to describe the two of you, you think; again, sometimes it’s better not to ask) is alternating between pumping her tongue deep in your asshole and wrapping her lips around its entrance to suck all the air out of it. Those times, the hand that was keeping your mouth closed becomes an object just like any other to bite onto, because now it would be screams. Those times, making the best of it is letting Haewon play with her toy and focusing on not letting the whole neighborhood know about it. Not supposedly anymore.

So when the final thrusts of her tongue hit you where it pleases the most, both of her hands back on your length and stroking, the only thing you can do is wail onto your own hand while you watch spurts upon spurts of white fly up in the air and back down on your abs, the muscles of your ass flexing repeatedly around her tongue. Lay your head back down onto the pillow and let yourself catch your breath again as you spread your arms open on the bed. Not even a minute, and she’s already taking her zip-up sweater and ripped blue jeans off and throwing them on the ground.

Welcome back! I saw you are taking story ideas so I wanted to submit two of the prompts I wrote for Phic Phight.

1) Danny's excuse when someone notices the resemblance between Fenton and Phantom and comes too close to his secret: The ghost is his dead twin who he ate in the womb. This might have more truth to it than he originally thought.

2) Long ago Clockwork had and lost a child, the young Ancient of Space. Even with his Sight of time, he could never see what became of them, only that they disappeared. Now another being that evades his Sight has crashed into his existence. Another child, and this one a boy with the stars in his eyes and the cold of space in his veins.

I hope you like either of these!

“You know, one thing still confuses me about ghost cores.” Danny resisted the temptation to fidget when three pairs of eyes turned to him. “Or, uh, the cores of half-ghosts, at least?”

“Do tell, Great One, and perhaps I can answer.” Frostbite turned further to face him.

“Well, um.” Danny’s eyes darted over to his parents, briefly, before returning to Frostbite. “Isn’t it kinda weird that my core is more stable than Dani and Vlad? Like, I thought Dani was just because she was a clone, so she was destabilizing, but apparently Vlad got really sick as he was developing his powers? But I was, well, fine?” He shrugged, unsure of how to put his thoughts into words.

His mother hummed thoughtfully, but didn’t say anything. Neither did his dad, though he did frown.

“Of course not. Both other half-ghosts you refer to had to develop their own cores, growing them from scratch. You, on the other hand, absorbed yours from another ghost, thus stepping past the initial growing pains.”

Danny felt his heart stop. His core freeze. Thoughts grinding to a halt.

“Excuse me?” he blurted out, automatically, incredulously. “Are you telling me I killed another ghost?”

“No, no.” Frostbite lifted his hands, voice dropping into a soothing tone. “Although it is not unheard of for proper ghosts to fuse together into one, this sort of core-binding is only possible with blob ghosts.”

“And blob ghosts aren’t truly sentient, right?” Maddie hummed in thought, saving Danny the effort of trying to figure out what, exactly, Frostbite meant. “They’re barely more than free-floating ectoplasm, which is common here in the Ghost Zone.”

Frostbite nodded. “Indeed. A more developed ghost couldn’t have been absorbed in such a manner, so there is no need to worry, Great One.”

“That’s a relief.” Danny heaved a sigh. It still felt weird to imagine that his core wasn’t originally his, that it had developed separately, but, well. At least he hadn’t killed someone in the process.

“Although,” Frostbite suddenly started, interrupting Danny’s thoughts. “It is very unusual.”

“Oh?” Danny felt like slapping himself. Why did he ask for more information? He regretted asking in the first place. Knowing more wasn’t going to make himself feel better, was it?

But his parents would probably have asked if he hadn’t. Right? Yeah, definitely.

“Typically, ghosts require some form of connection to be present to bind together. Two fully-formed ghosts can fuse over shared goals or other such traits, but such a thing isn’t possible with a blob ghost. To absorb one of those, a more tangible connection is required.”

Frostbite eyed Danny, but he couldn’t quite read the emotion in his eyes. “Obviously the power of the Ghost Portal let you bypass the part where you weren’t a ghost yourself—” or perhaps he was dying and turning into a ghost anyway, “—but that connection would’ve still been necessary.”

But how. What? Who? The blob ghost must’ve come from somewhere, something, someone, but Danny couldn’t imagine, couldn’t think—

“Oh, that makes sense,” Maddie said, voice casual. “Danny absorbed his twin in the womb, so it makes sense for him to do the same thing with his twin’s ghost.”

“What?” Danny blurted out, turning to her in shock. “I had a twin? A twin I absorbed?!”

“Well, yes.” Maddie nodded, looking at him in confusion. “Of course, it happened fairly early on, so he wouldn’t have become a real ghost. But the impression of it, the potential of a twin gained and lost, that would’ve been enough form a blob ghost.” She turned to Frostbite. “Right?”

“Right.” Frostbite nodded back. “And yes, a connection like that would have worked quite well. A connection of blood and spirit, an action repeated. An echo between life and death.”

Danny shook his head. Well. Jerked his head side to side. “Are you serious? Why are you all acting like this is—this is normal, totally expected?”

“I thought you knew, honey.” Maddie was frowning at him now, confusion deepening. “Weren’t you the one who started using it as a cover?”

“What?” He blinked at her, then realized. Yes. Yes, he had been using that as an excuse for the resemblance between Danny Fenton and Phantom. A dead twin, a ghost which looked just like the living Danny. “I didn’t—I didn’t think it was real.”

“Oh.” She shot an uncertain look at Jack, then Frostbite, then turned to him. “Well. You know now?”

Danny stared at her, incredulous. Then shook his head. “Yeah. Yeah, I guess I do now.”

it’s only been two weeks since you and yunho broke up, but it’s still hard to wrap your head around it.

you and yunho who have been together since you were trainees. he knows everything about you and you know everything about him... well at least you thought you did, but his feelings he voiced that day tell you otherwise.

has he always hated how you relied on him and told him your feelings? how you confided in him when you didn't feel your best? were you really to blame for every serious fight that's happened in your all's relationship?

did the others feel this way as well? surely not, right?

"hey what's with the long face, baby?" san's voice does well to snap you out of your thoughts. his dimples are showing as he smiles at you as he enters your room and the bed dips a little from where he sits.

"sorry, i was just thinking about somethings," you say and san can easily tell that you don't want to talk about whatever has been going through your mind. however, san is pretty sure he knows what it is that is bothering you.

"our managers are here, they want to talk to all of us," he says after a few moments of silence.

weird, both managers? you think as you nod to him and get up. you lead the both of you out of your room and into the living room where some of the others are already waiting.

you're quick to sit down next between seonghwa and jongho while san finds his usual spot next to wooyoung who is resting his head on hongjoong's shoulder.

seonghwa is quick to pull you into his embrace, your head easily resting on his chest as yeosang, mingi, and yunho come to join the rest of you. yeosang and mingi quickly find their seats while yunho is left with the only space open being across from you.

your eyes meet and you are quick to look away. your eyes finding more interest in playing with jongho's hand that he placed on your thigh.

"so now that everyone is here, we'll go ahead and start this little impromptu meeting," ateez's manager begins.

"the higher ups at kq have been talking and they think it's best if y/n and one of you go public as a couple," your manager says.

the nine of you sit there in silence, taking in her words before hongjoong is the first one to speak up. "what? why are they suddenly wanting this?"

"they think it will help cut down on other dating rumors between you all if y/n is publicly dating one of you boys," his manager responds.

you feel like you want the ground to open up and swallow you. why you? why do they want you to go public with one of the boys? why should this even be talked about?

"which one of us did they want to go public with her?" seonghwa is asking this time, he gives your shoulder a reassuring squeeze as a way to comfort you.

"well they threw out a few names at first, but then we managed to talk them into letting you all decide," eunji says, her eyes making contact with yours. you can tell she's sorry about this whole situation and having to be the bearer of the news, but you knew she was just doing her job.

"i think y/n should decide who she wants to go public with. it's only fair since she's not getting any other choice in this," san says and the others are quick to agree and now you feel everyone's eyes on you.

you're gonna have to make a decision now. your eyes filter over across the room one more time to yunho who is looking down at this hands. he's probably wondering why he's even here during this meeting. none of it concerns him, you aren't dating anymore.

you feel your heart break knowing that if you didn't break up, you would have 100% chosen yunho. you've been with him the longest and you knew you could have gotten through the toxic fans together. the two of you have conquered a lot of things in the past few years, but it isn't like that anymore.

you and yunho are done. over. you need to stop dwelling on the what-ifs and such. your eyes filter over to your other boyfriends. you know san would be a good choice or even hongjoong. they would both be supportive and not take anything any toxic fans would say.

seonghwa would also be a great choice. you know fans would probably want to see you and hwa dating, they talk about it anytime you two are seen hanging out or posting selfies together.

but then your eyes land on yeosang. kang yeosang. the one who has been your best friend basically since he joined the company. the one who use to listen to how much you were in love with yunho and san and seonghwa during your trainee days. he's the one who has encouraged you when you were scared of failing.

kang yeosang the one is your soulmate.

kang yeosang the one you want to publicly date.

"you don't have to—

"i know who i want to go public with," you say cutting eunji off. everyone seems to be waiting for you to speak and so you do, "yeosang."

yeosang perks up at the mention of his name and the two of you make eye contact. you can tell he's a little surprised, probably thinking that you would have chosen one of the others like san or seonghwa.

but you didn't choose them, you chose him. kang yeosang.

"if you want to that is, yeosang," you say wanting to him the opportunity to say no if he wanted to. you would understand if he did say no.

"no, let's go public together," he says probably a little too quickly, but hearing him say this makes your heart race and you're sure that seonghwa could likely feel it.

"alright then it's settled. we'll let the company know and within the next few hours, yeosang and y/n will be an official couple to the public. congrats," ateez's manager says before him and eunji bid you all goodbye and then leave.

yunho is first one to get up, not wanting to stick around longer than he needs to now that the meeting is over. you didn't notice how his eyes lingered on you after you said yeosang's name.

it was probably for the best anyway if you hadn't; however, san had noticed and knew he would have to talk with his boyfriend later. san knew yunho regrets letting you break up with him. the taller male had been in love with you for years, the love you both shared something san has always craved despite dating the both of you. it was pure love and love like that doesn't just disappear.

he'll talk with yunho later, but as of right now he needs to look over you and yeosang for the time being.

Wowee I’m finally making a pinned post to explain all this!! My name is Ares, I’m 22 and extremely gay. I’ll warn you now I am the literal manifestation of 30 mental illnesses and banned from most public spaces. As John Mulaney once put it, “I also dont want me to be doing what I’m doing”. I’m ADHD and there’s probably some autism in there as well I don’t know anymore. My brain is not normal basically lmfao.

I ship with Jesse Glenn from Bakugan Battle Brawlers. I have loved this fruit since the moment I laid eyes on him at like 12 years old or however old I was when I watched Bakugan lol. About a year ago I got sick with covid, rewatched the show and fell absolutely head over heels again…. I definitely attribute him to being my gay awakening (even though I thought I was just a really fucked up weird straight girl up until after I graduated high school). This blog is for the ship between my self insert and Jesse, although I may refer to my s/i and myself interchangeably.

Samuel Ramblings

As concluded by the poll, I shall now ramble about Samuel on as much as I can that I haven't mentioned yet already. So, without further ado~ Here is Even More Info™️ about Samuel under the cut (WARNINGS: Mentions of; Purposeful misgendering/deadnaming, physical and verbal bullying, obsessive behaviours [potentially parental yandery], death of a loved one, very long ass post)

So, I've already given a basic rundown on Sam in general, but now you get his

~Backstory~

(I'll get to his other interests and such in another post probably, this got a lot longer than I thought it would) So, Samuel essentially grew up in a household where he was very much loved and cared for, however the way said love and care went was a biiit, askew to say the least. His parents were very helicoptery, wanting to know everything going on with him at every given moment, even going so far as to pull him out of school in order to keep a closer eye on him and teach him things themselves (It is at this point that I think I might have accidentally made his parents kinda yanderey, but without the whole killing thing. Not sure but I'll add that to the warnings/tags anyway just in case). Admittedly another part of that was because Sam was often bullied for his appearance, the other kids finding him to look too weird to be normal, calling him mean names, excluding him during playtime, stealing his food, general mean little kid stuff, but it still didn't really excuse pulling Sam out of school altogether. They even went so far as to put a tracker on him so they'd always know where he is. They're also very in denial about Samuel being trans, calling it a 'phase' and insisting that he's still their 'precious little baby girl' no matter what he says or does. Luckily though, it wasn't all horrible all the time, Samuel had his uncle, Boris, and his little cousin Brody, who had the same heterochromia as him, just in opposite eyes. Boris was a wonderful uncle, he adored and accepted Sam and always did his best to tell Sam not to listen to anyone who tells him to be anything other than himself. Boris taught Sam many things both fun and practical, like how to play a guitar, lock-picking for just in case purposes of course, basic self defence and cooking, anything he could that he thought Sam might need to know in the future. He knew Sam's parents wouldn't teach him anything that would help him survive away from them, so he wanted to do everything he could for him so that if Sam were ever able to get out, he wouldn't be completely unable to help himself. Brody, meanwhile, adored Samuel, and wants to be 'just like him' someday. He's pretty much more like a little brother to Sam than anything else, and he thinks his big cousin is just the coolest ever, and often refers to him as 'Samsam'. They were practically inseparable whenever Samuel came over, also cheering and hugging each other tight when they saw the other. It always made Boris smile to see them so close. Unfortunately though, things couldn't be this happy forever, because when Samuel was 10, something happened to Boris that caused him to pass away (I'm still undecided on what that is, either illness or car accident), meaning Samuel no longer had a safe space he could go to, and Brodi had to go live with his grandparents who live outside of the US. Thus, Samuel was alone, but he wasn't out of hope. He'd had enough. So, he did the only rational thing an 10 year old could think of: he ran away from home Psychonauts anyone? No? Okay then- Admittedly, it did take him a while to do so, but he managed by the time he was 11, and had also taken out the tracker so they couldn't find him. He took a lot of measures to make sure they couldn't find him for a while at the least... This is how he ended up coming across a junkyard, intending to lay low there for a bit until he figured out how he would earn money in order to live on his own. At least, that was the idea, until he ran into a pre-mutation Repo Mantis (who I will be calling 'Manny' as 1. he is not a mantis yet and 2. I yoinked the name from @/rottmnt-risuum , go read their comic it's so good, just mind the gore if you're not into that). Luckily, however, instead of kicking Sam out, he decided to make an offer; Sam can help out in the yard in exchange for cash and a place to live until he's able to make it on his own, to which Samuel accepted. Manny may be a greedy guy, but he ain't the heartless type to leave a kid to rot.

 From that point on for the next roughly 2 years, Samuel would help around the yard, doing tasks that are reasonable for a kid his age, and if anyone were to give him any trouble for any reason, Manny would handle it and add some compensation to make up for whatever it was Sam had to deal with. He may seem like the kind of guy to not care a lot, but he has a pet kitten and kept her even after she mutated and tried to eat him for crying out loud, he has some softness under that Brooklyn accent somewhere, and sure enough he'd grown to like Samuel, becoming a sort of surrogate father/uncle figure to him. Somewhere along that line Samuel was somehow also able to procure HRT and start on that, but how it happened I will never know. It's a show with talking turtle ninjas that have magic I don't have to be logical about things ALL the time.

Soon enough, when Samuel was 12, he managed to save up enough to get himself an apartment and was even able to get into a school and find a relatively okay job that didn't know he was not 14 because he sorta kinda lied on his resume- It was worth it though, he was glad he did it. He was finally able to be independent and not need to rely on others help to get a better life, but he will always be grateful to Manny for everything, and still visits him at least a few times a week either to just hang out or do favours, like fixing something or taking care of Mrs Nubbins, in exchange for being able to scrounge around for parts that he can use for any projects he's working on either for practice or to get one step closer to his dream of being a mechanic/technician. Manny only ever pretended to keep score of how many favours Sam could cash in. As far as he was concerned, Sam could take anything he wanted, within reason at least.

Of course, this doesn't mean Samuel is completely free. He still needs to be wary of his parents, as they're out there looking for him. They almost did find him at one point, but he was able to move somewhere else before they did, but he had to change his contact details and other such things in order to keep them off his trail. It's a song and dance he'd have to go through generally once or twice a year at least, three or maybe four if he's unlucky. He doesn't have a lot with him, so it makes the process easier, but it's never any less nerve wracking or stressful, not to mention expensive. But he's been getting more and better jobs, and eventually he didn't need to lie about his age on his resume anymore, which was a huge relief off his shoulders if he were perfectly honest. He still got bullied at his new school though, again for his appearance, which was unfortunate.

 His main bullies were these two guys, Kyle and Lyle, who sometimes had one or two other guys with them to join in on tormenting Samuel as much as they could, calling him him things like 'freak' or 'monster' or 'failed Frankenstein' (which Sam often wants to correct that Frankenstein was the scientist, not the monster), even going so far as to beat him on the odd occasion. Safe to say, Sam can't really catch much of a break. That is, at least, until one night he sees a video of his employer's kid, Baxter Stockkid, making yet another one of his videos again. He goes to the Stock 'n Shop in order to stop Baxter from doing anything stupid that would get himself into trouble with his parents, only to end up meeting April from school, and two very green very three-fingered people that are very clearly not human despite their cosplayer claims. They are very clearly not cosplayers, he can smell the turtley-ness on them. He's more intrigued by them than freaked though, finding them rather cool and interesting. After that whole situation is over and done with, Samuel ensures that any video footage Baxter might have taken of the turtles is erased in order to protect their secrecy, and also put up a firewall to prevent any of such videos being released in case Baxter had any backups somewhere he didn't know about. It was after this that Sam and April actually met up properly and started to bond, earning Samuel his first friend of a similar age group, and also someone who can and will stick up for him when Kyle and Lyle try shit, which he greatly appreciates but also tries to discourage as he doesn't want her caught up in his shit. It's not long after that when Samuel, while rummaging around Repo's junkyard, he comes across Donnie for the first time. It catches them both quite off guard, but after a moment Samuel recalls Manny mentioning some troublesome turtles stealing that movie buggy he'd found a couple weeks ago, and figured that this terrapin likely is not exactly on friendly terms with the mantis mutant. Thus, he warns Donnie of when Manny would be doing his rounds and that he should get what he needs and go before he's caught before leaving himself as to not draw attention. Skip to a week later, April decides to properly introduce Sam to the turtles and cue recognition and mild shenanigannery, solidifying Samuel as a friend of the turtles. Aaaaaand that's about it! For the most part that is, this is just up to being properly brought into it, there is still a bit regarding his time with the turtles, let alone his change in species and whatnot. That can be for another post on another day, hopefully not several months from now-

OOC: A bit frustrated with the RPC

(( The downside to the RPC is I've been wanting to be around more but stuff keeps happening, people being weird on my posts, or saying stuff to me that's just out of pocket.

I'm tempted to just delete my blogs, or put them on hiatus permanently and leave the RPC and rp on Discord. Now I probably won't do that, I have had more good experiences than bad, but sometimes it's too much. You know what I mean?

I've made the friends I'll make here, but honestly, someone just straight up replying to my humorous post trauma dumping about super gross stuff, with 0 tags and 0 warning

It really just... does it for me. Like I am doing everything I need to do to make my time in the RPC comfortable. I am blacklisting and blocking and giving others grace and if I can talk to people about setting boundaries I do.

I won't dictate what people should write or how they should write their characters, and you think people would respect there are spaces where they are not wanted. However when they DO breach boundaries I am immediately disrespected, and If I retaliate I am making too much of a fuss after having my stated boundaries disrespected

A lot of people complain that there isn't a wide enough pool for RP and it's the same five people, and this is why. You can't talk about issues or set boundaries you want without people being disrespectful.

"It's a public website" yes, but this is my blog and I am allowed to handle it and use it as I please. I do not tell people how to handle their blogs or what they write and I should be able to be on my blog with peace of mind someone won't trauma dump triggering shit on my posts. Then have them double down, act like a piss baby, and post about it ic how they can't trauma dump cause it's so wrong despite being fucking weird to a complete stranger in the first place.

I'm by far not a very decent person myself, I am stressed out, mentally ill and I can't afford therapy right now.

so, i want to talk about the idea that batman and/or other vigilantes within the fiction are bad for "working with cops" or that they are "the same as cops." i think this idea comes from willful misunderstanding of what batman and his associates want and are working towards. i'm someone who has worked frequently with law enforcement in my day job, so i'm going to use my own professional experiences as an example of why this idea of "working with cops = cops" is wildly off base in this fictional case. also please forgive any typos or weird sentences, i had to copy and paste and mess with this so much before tumblr would let me post it for some reason!

TRIGGER WARNING HERE: i will be discussing child sexual endangerment, and things related. i'm putting the rest of this under a cut to avoid exposing anyone to anything that might potentially harm them. i will NOT be discussing material in detail, and i will be using as many industry professional terms as i can, but please be careful for your own sakes. more below cut.

my profession is not one that's easily described. simple terms will sound horrific, and more complex terms aren't descriptive enough. i specialize in what tech companies generally refer to as "child safety" "minor safety" and sometimes just "exploitative content." what this actually means is that essentially, i am a highly trained specialist in:

-identifying Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) -identifying victims therein -investigating individuals and spaces online where this material is traded or created -investigating and collecting evidence of sexual grooming of minors -tracking these bad actors across multiple platforms -collecting this evidence and offering my professional judgment to law enforcement as to whether or not an individual should be looked into legally i spend much of my professional time looking at CSAM. i am deeply familiar with known victims of CSAM, types of potential victims and their circumstances, the different terminology that bad actors will use to "secretly" discuss their collections or victims, and everything else you can imagine that goes into that world. this means that i am also frequently in contact with law enforcement, with them both reaching out to me and me reaching out to them. i submit evidence and professional judgment calls to LE so that they can act on what's found. these judgment calls aren't made lightly: i have personally been partially responsible for more than one metaphorical (and probably literal) SWAT team breaking down a door. (these are cases where a victim is 100% certain to be with the predator, the predator has volumes and volumes of material on hand and is actively selling or trading it, or a child is self endangering to the level of "selling themself." immediate intervention types of situations.) i love what i do with all my heart. i don't need praise or "you're so brave and heroic" responses at all: i love doing this. i get to make an active, positive difference in the lives of victims and there's nothing to me more rewarding than that. but it also means that, yes, i have to engage with law enforcement. not only do i have to engage with law enforcement, i have to actively assist them in cases. i have to answer their questions, give them my thoughts, and work quickly and sometimes at strange hours of the day/night to get them something within their deadlines. i've played phone and email tag with many a detective. my personal reports have been the primary reason for legal convictions of several predatory people. everything i do to make the internet/world a little bit safer for children and people who were victimized as children (whose materials are still circulating) leads to law enforcement action.

i do not support "the police." i am about as ACAB as they come. the pigs know no peace from me in my personal life. i believe in total national police reform, in community engagement and mental health de-escalation, i do not believe that police should be allowed guns of any kind, and i am the person who stops and films when i see cops talking to anyone in public, of any color. the police are not my friend and i will go hoarse telling you they aren't your friend either. i do not believe cops inherently deserve honor, respect, or authority. i act on these things in my personal life. i will protest, i will sign petitions, i will walk up and ask police why they're harassing someone, what they're doing, and so on. i believe that the entire policing system is broken, and i believe it needs to be eliminated and replaced by something else. where i am able to do so, i put my money, and my body, where my mouth is.

but in the meantime, there are victims. in the meantime, there are people in need. in the meantime there are individuals who are causing incredible harm to others (whether or not these others are "innocent" or not is also immaterial to me.) in the meantime, it's still my job to do something now. i will still talk to that detective, politely and helpfully. i will still report these people for police action. my goals are two-fold, and the first, primary goal for me is to stop the immediate victimization first. working within the current (terrible, broken, exploitative to both victims and bad actors alike) system is the only way to immediately stop those harms. we can talk about the complexity of the rest of it when that harm is effectively stopped.

i'm not a billionaire, obviously, and i don't think anyone reading this is either. (if you are, let's chat, i'm broke and you owe us.) but batman is. batman, canonically, puts money and personal time, resources, and efforts into police reform. he frequently acts against cops who harm victims or who escalate situations. and outside of the cowl, he advocates and actively works for change. he doesn't like the system either. people like to talk shit about dick grayson becoming a cop in the old nightwing run, but they pretend to forget why he did it: because he was infiltrating them to dig out corruption. yes, these guys are also running around punching people. but they're not "propping up the system" or happily washing their hands of what happens once the criminal is arrested. they're still in it, going to trials and talking to parole officers and meeting with law makers about what would make this system better.

and clearly, in our american and police-worshipping society, the narrative is often going to be "they want to make the police better (rather than abolish them.)" but that's a product of the overall social mindset. most people aren't ready to talk about abolishing police. but just because batman and company aren't saying that exactly doesn't mean they're just complacently going along with the system. they're vigilantes because they reject the ineffectiveness of the system.

Geno stroke the small campfire to keep it alight, as Mario had instructed before falling asleep. The newly arrived Star doing his best to keep an eye on everything. In case something tried to jump them while Mario and Mallow slept. Even if the human said they would be fine.

The strange quiet was honestly unnerving. Sure, the rustling leaves, whistling wind, and nighttime creatures were easily heard. But, it was different than the quiet from his home. The roar of comets flying by. The gentle whispers of hopeful wishes as they were categorized. The contentment of hearing his fellow Stars while they worked. 

Geno was used to ‘noisy’ quiet. 

This was not the normal quiet he was used to.

How homesick he felt.

Sure, Geno did this to himself. Even after being warned what it meant leaving to gather the shattered pieces. He knew in order to get his home back, someone would need to go down to gather what was destroyed.

It didn’t make him feel better about his current choices. The entire situation made him feel…weird. 

Geno blinked when he realized the world was growing lighter. At first panicking in thinking that he’d allowed the fire to burn out of control. When that (thankfully) was not the issue, Geno followed where the light was coming from. 

He winced when his eyes landed on a bright orb of light. Using his hand to partially block it to get a better look. 

The sky was a beautiful display of pastel blues, pinks, and yellows. White clouds seem to reflect said colors perfectly. The sun barely over the horizon as if slowly waking the world to a new morning with warmth it produced. 

After the initial shock of the bright light, Geno took in the amazing sight before him. “Wow…”

“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”

The puppet jumped hearing a new voice. Turning to find Mario approaching with his hands raised. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you.”

“You’re fine. I just thought you were still asleep.”

“Probably should be,” the human said casually as he sat next to Geno.

“So…why don’t you?”

“It’s not that easy, really wish it was though. But, I woke up and decided I wanted to join you seeing the sunrise. This is your first one, right?”

“Yes.”

“Anything like this up in space?”

“No, there’s no day or night cycle up there. It’s all very…beautiful.”

Sometimes Hiruma feels distanced or left out.  Won’t admit it though, but one of you always realizes it quickly.  The blond complains about being interrupted and about the increased attention, but really, he’s soaking it up.  He likes to be reminded that he’s loved on occasion.

Domestic tasks inspire some squabbling, because Hiruma is OCD about cleaning, and the other two never do it ‘right’ according to him.  Musashi is the best cook, but often works long hours in hard labor, so feeding the three of you falls on you and Hiruma more often.  Hiruma is fussy though, so will take over cooking, even if it’s your night, leading to fights.

They aren’t serious though, and mostly, you both just like to have something to yell about.  Arguing is challenging and it becomes a game to see who can trip the other up.  Much to Musashi’s despair, since he’s the one that has to listen to it.

There are times when both men just want to be alone with you, without the other one.  At first, you were worried about possible jealousy, but that worry flees quickly.  Neither begrudge the other for it, and they never seem to need to talk about it.  They just know and its never taken personally.

They don’t sleep together without you.  It’s not that they have a problem having sex with each other, it’s just that both would rather you be the focus.
