Orym I’m begging for you to tell someone near you about how you feel instead of just picking up the sending stone and being sad for 25 words a day at a person you aren’t sure will answer the stone! On a meta level we know that Dorian may be coming back soon, but orym doesn’t know that! What he knows is that the last time he used the stone he didn’t get an answer! And he keeps hiding his emotions from the people around him instead of being open! And I think it’s a good character choice on Liam’s end but it makes me want to grab Orym by the shoulders and shake him!

re: isaac brooke's smile

people seem to hard disagree with me on whether or not isaac's smile is cute. not only do i think its unnerving, i think that its a crucial aspect of isaac. in the first club auspex (which, btw, i was combing through for pictures of alex smiling and both him and aabria are v cute there), alex said that he likes vampires because they "look human but are the farthest thing from it". compare alex's regular, non-vampiric, smile to isaac's

isaac is a predator wearing the skin of his prey. full stop. in his solo scene, he smiles a lot less when its just michael and angela, because they know its 80% a performance. as a tzimisce, he has to work overtime to make other kindred comfortable around him. he looks like he googled "normal smiles for non-threatening people" and practiced them in the mirror

outside of labn and nybn, alex is a creature actor in the horror genre. there is no fucking way that the massive difference between his regular smile and isaac's isnt on purpose

trying to sleep but im just mad about what dc did to babs and oracle again for some reason. they point at the peak of babs career, the time where she was independent and more effective than she had ever been before, and saying that it was all a burden. that the entirety of babs history as an independent disabled woman was miserable and should be forgotten and left behind. they even pulled a fuckin "its bad to depend on technology!!" about it once. the most annoying fucking part is that, like with everything else in the world, it comes back to money. she needs to be able-bodied batgirl for them because that's what sells. that's what's seen as acceptable and sexy and cool and marketable. i don't even like her, it just breaks my heart to see how she's been treated after being un-disabled. wasn't she dc's most well known disabled character? and this is what they've done to her?

I’ve been really thinking of reopening my art shop soon… I’ve been taking some practice doodles (hence all the posting lately) while I shake off my rust and I’m finding things I enjoy working on again.
