The lasagna theory is actually about Buddie, the Buckley-Diaz family, and Buddie's current relationships. "Trying to crack this new recipe but it cracked me" meaning they already had a relationship (recipe) that worked (Buck and Eddie) but they were trying new things (Eddie with Kim and Marisol, and Buck with Trolldemort). "Is that smoke" meaning all these new relationships were going to go up in flames. Which also includes the relationship between Eddie and Chris and the Buckley-Diaz family dynamics in general. Also the last time Buck had perfected the lasagna he was with the Diaz boys. They were together as a unit. As a family. This time, they were not. The lasagna was a foreshadowing for everything not just one specific thing. Like dominoes. Like layers in a lasagna.

I'm 5 feet tall with a delicate build, and I work out regularly. No amount of body-building changes the fact that the average man could easily wrap his entire fucking hand around my neck and EASILY choke me to death, or break my wrists or my fucking spine. That terrifies me. It terrifies me than in a real one on one fight to the death, I'd probably be the one dying. I'm thinking of that video where a woman stabbed a guy with a big knife like 15 times, and he still kept fighting, whaling on her. What the fuck are those tiny "self defense" blades supposed to accomplish ? My best bet would probably be to slice his jugular or push my thumbs into his eye sockets, but how the fuck am I supposed to do that if he's restraining my arms. It TERRIFIES me that I can't fight, and even if I could, I'd probably not stand a chance against the average man, and definitely not if there were more than one.

Do any of you know self defense tips that ACTUALLY work? No convoluted moves. If a brute has got me in a fucking chokehold, I won't be thinking about the steps of popular self defense moves. I'll be panicking, losing strength and consciousness. The way i see it, my best bet would be carrying a fucking dagger, but even that requires intense training to learn how to use efficiently.

I’m a kpop fan—you know what that means! All my favorite characters get to be too. PJO/HOO kpop headcanons.

Leo Valdez: Orbit (Loona fan) and won’t let anybody forget it. Loves their bright songs. Also likes Weeekly, Red Velvet, Pentagon, Astro. Favorite kpop song is Loona’s Hi High.

Percy Jackson: 2nd gen girl crush girl group fan. Super specific, I know. 4Minute, CLC, EXID, 2ne1; also likes Girls’ Generation. Was so pumped for Forever 1; streamed the hell out of it. Favorite kpop song is Crazy by 4Minute; he just can’t let go.

Annabeth Chase: likes kbands. Favorites are Onewe and LUCY, also likes Day6, NFlying, and Xdinary Heroes. Listens to other kpop, but it’s mostly these; also likes King Gnu (jpop). Favorite kpop song is I Wait by Day6.

Piper McLean: doesn’t really listen to kpop, but Leo got her really into Hi High specifically. She listens to it at least once a day. Casually listens to Blackpink, NewJeans, and whatever Leo recommends to her. Her favorite song is not actually Hi High, but (G)I-DLE’s oh my god. It’s the only (G)I-DLE song she knows and she doesn’t listen to it very often but she loves it.

Hazel Levesque: sue her but she finds cute concepts genuinely cute. That means she loves Lightsum; Weeekly; fromis_9; The Boyz, TXT, and Red Velvet when they do cute stuff; etc. Her favorite kpop song is surprisingly TXT’s Magic Island. She just loves the vibes.

Jason Grace: he likes huge girl groups. Twice, Iz*One (he can’t let go and neither can I) are his favorites. He watched the heck out of Produce shows with Leo and cried when Iz*One disbanded. He didn’t watch GP999 out of sheer terror but likes Kep1er’s music. Favorite kpop song is Twice’s Dance the Night Away.

Frank Zhang: he likes The Boyz, Ateez, EXO, and Got7. He likes some Cravity, but not all. He’s also kind of obsessed with Iz*One’s Secret Story of the Swan. Listens to Astro and MCND casually. Favorite kpop song is Promise by Ateez.

Holy War Chapter 16 (final chapter)

Beatrcie’s body feels like it’s floating. The hard edges of her shoulder blades and hipbones are cushioned in the pillowy grass, no longer damp like last time. Her head rested on someone’s thighs as they raked fingers through her hair, scratching lightly at her scalp. “Back so soon, little sister?”

Beatrice cracks an eye open to look up at Shannon, dimples framing her bright smile as she looks down at the younger woman in her lap. A position they’d been in many times, maybe not like this exactly, but Beatrice had rested with her head in Shannon’s often. “Mmmm, it’s nice here.” It doesn’t hurt here.

Beatrice notices her legs resting over someone else’s. She tilts her head just enough to catch a glimpse of Mary lying back in the grass, hands behind her head, apparently soaking in the moment. “Personally, I could go to a beach, but Shannon never much liked the sand.” Again, if the air around wherever this was, Beatrice would have scrambled from where she was lying. She would have essentially piled on top of Mary, wrapping her in a warm hug. Mary would have laughed beneath her, patting her back and telling her it was good to see her too.

But things here were good. They were calm and void of any urgency. Void of any of the pain of losing them in the first place. So there they lay, essentially a tangle of limbs, the warmth of each other permeating all of that. It was just like old times. The only thing missing was Lilith, who would probably be resting her head on Beatrice’s stomach in this scenario. Fours sisters, till the very end.

Beatrice didn’t want to think about Lilith not ever making it here with them, not experiencing this again. She didn’t want to think about what this was. If it was real or if it was a reality that her brain was coming up with to help her body heal how it needed to.

“I like the sand just fine. But this place, it’s special.”
