Hey can you write a daniel ricciardo x gf reader fanfic based on you're in love by Taylor swift.either that or like sweet nothing by taylor. Js something cute, fluffy and like a quiet domestic love sort of thing
this took me so long and i'm so sorry 😭 I'm not a swiftie and when i listened to these songs/googled the lyrics, I really couldn't find a way to write something fluffy. Soooo, i wrote this instead (still includes taylor swift songs) (also, pls don't judge me for the title of this - i was tryina find a taylor lyric that felt the vibe of this)
The second part
Drive Out Of The City, Away From The Crowds
Road tripping means Danny's singing + taylor concert
Tumblr media
Daniel was a singer. He wasn't a talented one, but he didn't care. He sang his heart out and he loved it. His girlfriend loved it too. Actually, there weren't much things better than hearing Danny belt out a tune. He wore a smile on his face as he recited the lyrics with ease.
It didn't matter where they were; if there was music playing, Daniel would sing along. He didn't care who was around; if he knew the lyrics he would sing along.
Y/N's camera roll seemed to be just videos of Daniel singing. Most of them had him moving his head from side to side as he sang at her. Damn, she was so in love with him.
Daniel loved singing at her when they were doing domestic things, cooking or cleaning, or even when they were in the bath together.
You know, the kind of bath were you have candles lit and so many bubbles that you couldn't see the water beneath. Y/N would have her back pressed against Daniel's toned chest, both of them holding a glass of wine. There was a speaker on the toilet and Daniel sang along in one of his softer voices.
Night like that didn't get much better. Daniel tried to make sure they happened as often as possible. Starting with a home cooked, candle lit dinner, finishing with them in the bed, enjoying each other.
Daniel loved the USA. He loved it so much that he had his own place in Texas. It was a good thing that Y/N loved it, too. They'd spend a lot of summer break out there, escaping and enjoying each others company.
One day, Y/N suggested a road trip across America. This was before Daniel was signed to AlphaTauri, so the couple had all of the time in the world (lets pretend he's not at every race). Daniel jumped at the chance. "Fuck yeah baby!" He shouted and leaned forward to kiss her.
So, they planned a road trip. Starting at Danny's place in Texas, they'd do a three day drive and end up in New York. Their were motel stops planned on their trip, and the two had enough music to listen to something different every day.
The drive was only meant to be twenty six hours, but Daniel and Y/N had plans to stop and see the sights. It was cliché and tourist-y of them, but they didn't care. They were so excited.
Daniel was the designated driver. He was never the passenger princess, never the one not driving. He was the one who got to pick the music. When the drive began, he was just singing softly, but as soon as they were on the highway, things picked up.
Soon Daniel was belting out the songs, singing along to Taylor Swift.
Daniel was a massive Swiftie. He knew most of the lyrics to most of the songs, new and old. When her newest album came out, Daniel freaked out and posted about it on his social media for a full week. Their road trip to New York City just so happened to end with them at one of her concerts.
On the first night, they stopped in a sleazy motel. Daniel paid for the room wearing an inconspicuous hat and sunglasses. That night Y/N and Daniel had a few drinks, watched shitty motel TV and enjoyed each other.
The next day when they set out on the road, Y/N had snacks. Snacks that Daniel's trainer definitely wouldn't have approved of. It was all junk, all shit, with Gatorade to top it off.
As Danny drove, Y/N fed him. They had their first tourist stop on the second day of their trip. When they pulled over, they weren't recognised. It was only once they asked a kind lady there with her teenaged son that they were recognised. It was that teenaged son who gasped and asked 'are you Daniel Ricciardo?'
After that, they set off once again. Daniel and Y/N were both singing together as they drove on, Y/N videoing it as they did. They stopped at the next tourist trap, got another picture and set off again.
The day went on and on like this, and they never got bored. That second night they were in another sleazy motel with a couple of drinks, shitty television and each other. That night they tried to recreate their signature bath, but it was rather difficult in that motel bathroom.
When they set off for their third day of driving, they weren't too far away from New York. Daniel was incredibly excited. They'd booked a fancy hotel and that night they had the concert. "Do you think, if I messaged her, she'd help me to propose?"
Y/N scoffed and lightly smacked his shoulder, which had Daniel protesting.
"Hey, I'm being serious! When I want to propose, do you think I could get the ultimate queen to help?"
"Danny, you do realise you're saying you want to marry me, right?"
His hand moved to her knee. "Of course I know that. And I do. I seriously want to marry you."
"I seriously want to marry you too."
That night they had dinner. Nothing too fancy - they could have a fancy dinner when they were in Monaco. And then it was off to the concert. Daniel had his hand wrapped around Y/N for the entire night, as she shouted the songs along with Taylor Swift herself.

Fig Faeth Junior Year Playlist: Side A
It's no surprise that Fig Faeth's playlist is the one that I actually listen to the most. It's just a very good vibe and I love her. Took extra time to Song descriptions and thoughts down below. Spoilers for Episodes 1-10.
Genres included: Pop-punk, Punk, Alternative
1. hair out, Stand Atlantic
Am I fuckin' up my life? I'm just tryna make improvements Slowly givin' up the fight But I gotta cover up the bruise That I get from all the Expectations give me vertigo Wasting away to the pressure The pressure, The pressure, oh
This song is such an earworm, scratching a specific itch in my brain. Love the fact that both Kristen and Fig (the failing girlies) start with a Stand Atlantic song, and it works with the way that Fig is coming at this season. From the jump, she is one of the most visibly and audibly burnt out, specifically from the pressure of the "sophomore album" that was supposed to come out months ago. This song is definitely about the pressures of a songwriter as well as the pressures of life in general so it fits sooooo perfectly. Especially with the "I can already here people hating the song" outro *chefs kiss*
2. Who The Hell Am I?, NOBRO
God, I'm tired of being like this I can change, but in a minute Always looking for the back door, on the run Always at the party, never quite having fun Play with fire, and you're gonna get burned I'm on fire, and you know it hurts I was always on the outside looking in Maybe it's me 'cause I never wanna fit in
Fig's class struggles, her conversation with Mazey, I can't take it. I feel like we've all been there. I really love how the narrative with her has progressed, like last season was deconstructing her need to mold herself into other people (or into an idealized version of herself) now she's trying to figure out who she is at her core without all the disguises.
3. 7 Years Bad Luck, Glasseater
Something strange seems to be plaguing me Everything I touch falls apart I've lost it all, losing all my luck Suffering 7 years bad luck
I don't particularly love this song, a little too unintentionally underproduced, but it deserves a spot on this playlist. I feel like I would be Fig in the curse situation. It took me a literal year to deal with debilitating stomach problems, and I, too, waited until my friends noticed to actually do something about it. Either way, can't wait to learn more about the weird Galier Pride curse, love the representation for my stomach problem girlies
4. Where the Heart Is, Sweet Pill
Get this My mind's been in a million places but my body hasn't moved an inch And I feel like I'm missing out again Ignoring my plans Wondering how they went Feeling bad about it If I could just take a chance I wouldn't feel so bad To see past myself I wouldn't feel so bad
This is Fig's final decision to try Paladin after doing so well with Warlock. She knows the priorities in her gut don't match with what anyone else says, but she's discovering her loyalty. She's figuring out her actual drive... following her heart <3
5. Impostor Syndrome, Sidney Gish
Unfortunately, I am My own dog, my own fur companion My own old lady on a forum Who types in glittery decorum Unfortunately, I take Myself out walking every day and I had my legs to the feet and I give my head to the leash
Making Fantasy High playlists is like making a ven diagram of which dog-themed songs are Tracker-coded and which are Fig-coded. This one, to me at least, is Fig-coded. (yes, I do have a tracker playlist, and yes, every song in it is dog/wolf specific, BUT THEY'RE GOOD OK). We love our Oath/Pact of the German Shepard.
6. You Owe Me Nothing In Return, Alanis Morissette
I'll give you countless amounts of outright Acceptance if you want it I will give you encouragement to chose The path you want if you need it You can speak of anger and doubts Your fears and freak outs And I'll hold it
So I know that we're gearing up for Fig's Warlock/Paladin agreement post "mooner yulenear," but this is my interpretation of what it's going to look like. She cares about her friends, and she would do anything for them! And though I know this song came out in 2002, Alanis Morissette is a 90's icon and perfect for the grungy riot grrrl vibe I see for her

I think I used to WRONGLY dismiss Maps of Non-Existent Places by Thank You Scientist since it was a first album and those tend to have quite a bit of jank, but after a couple more listens, woweee, it's so freaking good!!!
Maybe I'm super wrong, but I think the choruses give off j-rock vibes (in chord progressions, generally optimism, or just the sorta dancey rhythms??), and so I didn't give it as much credit cuz I've heard that before and not as unique?
But, yeah, on more listens, those choruses (especially in Carnival and Absentee) are so dang refreshing and provide so much catharsis to the awesome classic Thank You Scientist instrumentals and verses. Dunno if this makes any sense, basically I really love this album cuz of the slightly different vibes to the other two albums

* ☔ : dialogue inspired by lyrics and aesthetics from the album FEEL MY RHYTHM by red velvet. ( adjust pronouns, etc. as needed. )
this is gonna be a crazy night.
i can't stand a life without love.
dance for me.
i sway all night.
you're so beautiful.
in my dreams, you love me back.
come with me.
our souls are in sync.
bad girl.
i like this feeling right now.
it's okay. i'm ready.
should i go back?
don't lock yourself up in yesterday and tomorrow.
you look so crazy.
we will be happily forever after.
i've been waiting for you.
follow my lead.
sway with me.
you're overwhelmed with emotions.
work for me.
i come alive.
will today be bitter or sweet?
we're always reaching out for each other.
follow the song and dance in the moonlight.
my heart cleared after the rain came.
i don't think it's up to you.
your toxic is intoxicating.
i'm going mad.
lock me in your arms.
don't let go of this moment.
if you say the word, i'll do it.
you know i'm holding the keys.
feel my rhythm.
it's harder to believe in fantasy now.
beg for me, baby.
do you feel the vibe?
i love me.
i pray that you'll stay forever.
please don't stop.
a wonderful thing is happening.
make me kneel down.
die for me.
i don't know the way back to reality.
love me back.
hurry up and hold my hand.
did you engrave me in your heart?
bet on me.
follow my heartbeat.
our story is like falling into wonderland.
i call the shot, i'm the hunter.
there's a quiver spreading through me.
you can't avoid it, can you?
i still love you.
we're fun and wild and brave.
how can i see you?
you make me bet everything on you.
the more i get into it, the more it's dangerous.
you promised to last forever.
we're in an endless dream.
you know i have no reason to be like you?
shall we play?
it's perfect, much more than i imagined.
take it all, if you want.
when i close my eyes, it's like we're dancing through the sky.
it's only for a short time.
don't wake me up.
you give me a new direction.
light is spreading through my heart.
good boy.
i like you more than any version of me.
that happy ending was an illusion.
don't leave until the sun rises.
reveal more of your face.
your eyes shine with purpose.
i feel so free right now.
you're prettier than pretty words.
you're getting impatient, but i desire the best for me.
my heartbeat follows your body.
slowly taste it.
deceive me sweetly.
pop the champagne louder.
this is love.
you can't stop it.
i won't give it to you easily.
close your eyes.
i dazed out for a long time.
i'm falling for your sweet emotion.
bring out your freak.

Ateez as Bryson Tiller songs
Listed below are the Bryson Tiller songs I associate with Ateez. This includes his albums and any singles he has released
Hongjoong: Inhale
I had a hard time choosing something for the captain I'm not gonna lie. I compared a lot of songs, both released and unreleased, and tried to see which one fit his vibe the best. After much deliberation, I finally settled on this one. Like Crazy Form, Inhale is not overwhelming with the noise genre that Ateez is used to. I can see Joong chopping up and playing around with the instrumental on this song and maybe add a bit more layering and depth to this song. Knowing Hongjoong, he'd use that brain of his to produce something immaculate yet stay true to the original.
Seonghwa: Overtime
My brainwaves naturally associated this song with Seonghwa ever since I came across an edit that used this song in the background and the edit contained clips of this fuckface show off his grills in the behind-the-scenes video of Matz.
Yunho: Losing Focus
Heavy 808s, thumping bass, and an overall danceable beat? I immediately thought of Yunho for this one. I'm also taking into account the way he acts. I picture his face contorted into one that is actually losing focus or already has lost focus. I can picture him looking troubled as he rides the beat of this song. That's pretty much all I got for him lol
Yeosang: Canceled
We all know that Yeosang is the most savage member of the group. So of course I had to pair him with this song. He hates the fried chicken he got (which is a lie since he loves everything lol)? Cancelled. Wooyoung being Wooyoung? CANCELLED. Any bitches that wanna hate on these eight literal fucking angels? CANCELLED!!! Anyways
San: Exchange
Good. Fucking. God. I have been manifesting this cover of this song ever since I got into Ateez. I even fucking put this song in my Valentine's series! You cannot tell me that San's voice would be perfect for this song. The airiness in his tones brings a different timbre to this otherwise aggressive song and it almost gives the song a bit more seduction rather than reminiscence. With the way San's stage presence is, you'd most likely be lured in since he is a siren and you are his prey.
Mingi: Let Me Explain
Mingi is my ult. And this song is my all time favorite out of all the songs that Bryson has released. So naturally, I paired these two together. Ever since I heard Mingi's solo song, I cannot get his raspiness out of my head. It's forever glued to my brain cells. Now imagine the raspiness making an appearance again in this song. How he's begging for you to come back and hear him out before pleading for you to stay. You don't have to forgive him. As long as he explains his truth, he'll be content.
Wooyoung: Just Another Interlude
The more I listen to this bonus track off of Trapsoul, the more I realize that Wooyoung actually represents this song. As the lyrics go, Woo can be a freak and a friend too. He's someone you'd see yourself leaning on yet get a good fuck out of him. However, this doesn't mean he's fitted for friends-with-benefits. Good God no. He's way too good for that. This just means that when you get into a relationship with him, he can either be a friend, a fuckbuddy, a lover, or all three.
Jongho: Next to You
The maknae. The 'hyung' maknae. The maknae with strong hands and even stronger vocals. We all know he loves to scream out his high notes. As it says in a guide I watched, Jongho's voice is so powerful that when you hear his harmonies, you'd think it was another instrument. I jokingly posted a Jongho pic on Instagram with this song in the background, but the more I think about it, the more I realize that he does have the potential to sing mainly in his lower register. It would be a nice contrast to everything else.

#currently in my whore pop era
i would unironically love to know more about this
My god I have too many songs that fit this description.
It started with the new Dorian Electra album, which has some great tracks that are to varying degrees about sex:
And then while I was busy relistening to that over and over again, Lynks released a new track which is also very About Sex but in a different (more relatable) way. Namely about being a gay man and feeling like you're wasting your twenties by not constantly hooking up with dudes. It also goes very hard:
And then I started relistening to this Full Tac song that I put on a playlist for my partner as a joke and since have realized is actually fucking great:
And so I went looking seriously at Lil Mariko's EP cause her vocals are very charming and she was on ANOTHER Dorian Electra track back in the day which also fits this description:
And it turns out that album is actually really fucking funny and like deserves a whole essay about its themes and shit. These are my faves off that EP:
So yeah my brain is officially rotting. But at least the soundtrack is good
Some other songs I'd recommend that are like. Roughly the same vibe...
Thank you anon for letting me infect your brain with my shitty music, now please come join me in my slut era 💕

❗This is Fan Club EXCLUSIVE content❗ ❗PERSONAL USE ONLY❗ Do ❗NOT SHARE❗ on other sites ❗Join her FAN CLUB! Check out my detailed TUTORIAL ❗
Let's Look Back on a Passionate Billboard Live♪〜Oh Le!〜
It's way too hot, I'm melting every time I step outside...Like every year, I carry around my three sacred must-have items for the summer time, a hat, a parasol and a portable fan. They are indispensable to me so this year, I am once again doing all of my activities with the help of them👒⛱. I recently realised that wearing a hat can trap a lot of heat so whenever I feel too hot, I take off my hat and put the fan on my head to cool it down! 😂This is a pretty good method! It cools down my head quickly and feels refreshing! (Of course, it is also effective to use the fan on your neck and back ♪) Your head can get surprisingly hot, so when you go out, try to cool the top of your head frequently♪\(^o^)/
Hi, this is Wakana (0 ̄ ̄0)/
Today, I would like to reflect on "Wakana Billboard Live 2023 ~Sono Saki e~" and share a lot of photos from the performances\\\\٩( 'ω' )و //// Some group photos first! This first photo is right after the 1st stage of the Yokohama performance on July 6th♪ (I felt relieved that I had successfully finished KEMONO so I look pretty refreshed here). From left to right we have our music director Satoshi Takebe, myself, manipulator & keyboardist Yugo Maeda, and guitarist Tetsuro Toyama♪ The next photo was taken right after the 2nd stage ♪ (Everyone was waiting for me to come back. I'm looking really smug here for some mysterious reason)
Then we have a picture of us after the 1st stage in Osaka on July 20th♪ (Billboard Live Osaka's dressing room has been renewed and transformed into a truly wonderful space!) And another shot after the 2nd stage♪ (Our infamous Sushi Zanmai pose~)
I'll also post some stage pictures\(^o^)/ First of all, a couple of shots of the Yokohama performances! Yokohama 1st stage and Yokohama 2nd stage. And then two shots from Osaka. The 1st stage and the 2nd stage! I already noticed it during the release event, everyone in Osaka is so freaking energetic, it's amazing! 😳 Of course everyone in Yokohama is also full of energy but the reactions I get in Osaka are on another level! 😂 A lot of people called out to me, I was so happy and surprised, for a while there I actually thought I was hallucinating 😂This really helped me recharge😭✨Thank you 😭✨ (And here is the view of the audience area from the stage @Billboard Osaka. We actually moved the tables a bit closer to the stage for the performances)
At the Osaka performance, the creator duo "two two two" who made the music video for "KEMONO feat.Shinya Kiyozuka" came to support me! I received a special souvenir from them, look at Kemono-chan hiding on the packaging! Cute~♡ I didn't even notice the two of them in the audience. Maybe there were two gentlemen with a hat standing on the side... 😭(It was delicious and we ate it all right away, of course I shared it with my musicians! I tried the Kodai cheese flavour of Shikajika)
Next up are my dresses! Here's the dress for the 1st stage♪ I like the botanical pattern and it has a nice breezy summer vibe♪ Then we have the dress for the 2nd stage! This time, I went for green and blue inspired by the album covers for "Sono Saki e". The blue dress makes me think of the waves of the sea and the beautiful sky, I love the delicate colour 😍 I was sweating a lot in it though *laughs* The hair style with all the braids was also amazing! I could never do this by myself so I can only have this kind of hairstyle with the help of a stylist and makeup artist!
Once again, I wanna say a big thank you to everyone who came to my Billboard Live performances😊 I put a lot of thought into "Sono Saki e" and took on various challenges. This live was special because somehow I felt it was needed in order to properly complete the album production. This way you could fully enjoy the music in a special atmosphere on a special day. I want to continue to walk “to the future” together with all of you. I hope that this feeling was conveyed to everyone. Being able to share these moments with you and being able to sing while looking into your eyes makes me happier than anything else😊And since it was also quite challenging I'll definitely never forget about it😂 I will continue to do my best \\\٩( 'ω' )و //// It has truly been a passionate summer! I'm really thankful to you for these experiences!
Last but not least, here are some pictures of me singing and dancing a Matsuken Samba all by myself before the 2nd Yokohama performance! (Oh-le-oh-le-♪ => Matsuken Samba~♪) Amazingly, no one was watching! I was completely ignored. Outrageous!
I have another story to share with you about something exciting I did the day after the Osaka performance so I will post it on the blog soon! Until next time☆(*'▽'*)/

awsten knight in kerrang! issue #1654
(full text under the cut)
THE ULTIMATE ROCKSTAR TEST
AWSTEN KNIGHT WATERPARKS
HOW DO YOU BECOME HEIR-APPARENT TO POP-PUNK'S THRONE? EAT CIGARETTES AND BREAK YOUR FEET…
ON ROCK'N'ROLL…
YOUR ALBUM'S CALLED DOUBLE DARE. WHAT'S THE STUPIDEST THING YOU'VE EVER DONE FOR A DARE?
"One time I lit my pants on fire. I was sitting on the couch with my friend, playing with matches, and he said, 'I bet you won't set your pants on fire.' I said, 'Fuck you', and I did it. We freaked out because the flames were getting really big, so he went and got a wet towel and squeezed it out over my pants. Another time I ate a cigarette in a graveyard while we were out there playing with a Ouija board.""
WHAT'S THE MOST OUT-OF-CONTROL SHOW YOU'VE EVER PLAYED?
"Back when we used to play just locally in Houston, we used to play a lot of small places. They were the sort of places where there was no security and no barricades, and a lot of the time people would basically be on the stage. They'd be stepping on pedal boards and stuff, so there were times when we had to ask them to please step off our equipment. It was all good fun."
HAVE YOU BEEN INJURED BECAUSE OF THE BAND?
"We saw this setting we wanted to take some new pictures by. Basically, we had to do some trespassing to get to the spot, and there was a 15-foot fence. When I jumped off it I landed very wrong and busted up both my feet. I don't remember what it's called, but there's this thing that connects the front and back of your feet, and I tore both of them."
We presume you mean tendons, but it could have been your socks.
FAILS AND F UPS…
WHAT'S THE MOST EMBARRASSING THING TO HAPPEN TO YOU ONSTAGE?
"I don't really get embarrassed, and if I do fuck something up it's usually on purpose, whether that's singing a part in a weird, goofy way or anything else. I can't even recall falling over onstage. There was one time I nearly went off a 10-foot stage at a House Of Blues venue somewhere. I was spinning round and went right to the edge, but I didn't die, so that's good."
WHAT'S THE WORST SONG YOU'VE EVER WRITTEN?
"I've written plenty of bad songs, but with Waterparks I'd say Bones Of '92 or Easter Egg. I just don't like Bones Of '92—it's not a very good song. With Easter Egg, it doesn't flow well and it doesn't make sense."
Did you hear that, everyone? No Easter eggs for Awsten this year…
LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS…
WHAT'S BEEN YOUR WEIRDEST-EVER FAN ENCOUNTER?
"There have been so many weird ones, but the one that made me feel the weirdest was when a mom came up and asked me to take a picture with her daughter. The girl was crying but I thought, 'Okay - sometimes people cry when they meet the bands they like. Then the mother said, 'She's sad because one of her best friends just died. Now take a picture with her, smile.' I was like, 'What the fuck is happening?" I was trying to talk to the daughter, the mom was oblivious and it was just the most awkward situation I've ever been in."
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WERE STARSTRUCK?
"The time I went to Pete Wentz's house. He was having us on his radio show for an interview and I couldn't believe I was there. He brought us out water in boxes, which was really weird. I was just sitting there going, "What the fuck, I'm at Pete Wentz's house!" It was nuts."
Water in boxes, eh? How the other half live…
ON THE HYPOTHETICAL…
GOOD CHARLOTTE ASK YOU TO GUEST ON A SONG, BUT WHAT THEY PLAY YOU IS SHIT. DO YOU TELL THEM?
"I would, but I'd definitely still do it. It might have been shitty on purpose, and if that was the case I could go and be shitty on purpose and get with that vibe. That could be really funny"
WOULD YOU RATHER BE ABLE TO SPEAK TO ANIMALS OR SPEAK EVERY HUMAN LANGUAGE FLUENTLY?
"Animals, easy. I talk to enough people as it is, and I love animals. I went to a pet adoption thing a couple of days ago and there was this dog looking at me. I felt like he loved me more than any human had ever loved me and he'd only just met me. If I could hear the love that he was expressing I would be completely fulfilled."
Get a dog-translator app-there probably is one now. Then feel the love…
SPIRITUAL HEADMELTER…
DO YOU BELIEVE IN GHOSTS?
"Yes, I do. I told you I ate that cigarette when I was in a graveyard with a Ouija board, and we used to do that a lot. We'd seek out haunted places a couple of times a week. I had to stop because I got too freaked out. It's really fun to do all that but then when you're alone afterwards, that fucking sucks."
Imagine how the ghosts feel when you leave…
"I USED TO GO LOOKING FOR GHOSTS A COUPLE OF TIMES A WEEK" - AWSTEN KNIGHT

! "songs you actually listen to(?)" tag game !
rules: when you get this you have to put 5 songs you actually listen to, and post it! then, send this to 10 of your favorite followers (non-negotiable, positivity is cool) < that is actually part of the rule i didn't make it up
tagged by: ilem aka @lovejoshua love how you tagged me but the tagging link doesn't work... it's very fortunate that i saw your post on my timeline
i'll do you all better... i'm doing 5 artists i'm currently listening to instead! and this will be full of tone indicators because people will get offended even by the minuscule things + because this is music i will freaking ramble so i'm sorry for the incoming long post
&team, specifically firework
this song is such a surprise for me and to be honest i hadn't even thought that hybe could make another good song for any other artists than newjeans /pretty srs. it has a bit of txt's thursday's child 80's vibe to it. it definitely makes much more sense than what the walmart twilight concept enhypen is doing /nm /criticism (believe me, i'm still stuck in the tamed-dashed era. also bring back the composer who makes given-taken pls /gen) i also want to give my two cents and say that i like the korean version better. i think this song was meant to be sung in korean before japanese imo
radiohead
what is 2023 lissie without radiohead? from creating and planning a 20-part anthology series based of their discography to buying my favorite albums of theirs on vinyl (which are the two albums that i plaster above), they've climbed up my ranks of favorite artists of all time. i choose jigsaw specifically because i rekindle my love of playing bass from that song and climbing up the walls because of the seonghwa fic i'm planning (it is exceptionally one of the most underappreciated songs in ok computer...)
billlie
they are the children of f(x) i'm telling you!!!!!!!!! just like how i consider the boyz as the children of exo and txt as the children of shinee. they are the siblings of 2016-2019 loona and gwsn. they are the product of sm ent's music prodigy sibling and i love them for that. they also are the junior of brown eyed girls, aka one of the most iconic kpop 2nd gen gg and the one that releases bops such as brave new world, kill bill, sign, and abracadabra! i love their discography so much and they have the potential to have one of the best kpop discographies in the industry alongside red velvet. i'll gatekeep them until the end along with onf because only people with taste can enjoy their songs /lh /gen aaaaaaaaaaa
triples aaa
the unit that could be if modhaus don't make such a strict rule because they disbanded for not having 100k album sold (womp womp) generation is such a high-quality debut track from a small company and dimension having their own versions within the subunits is a great concept. i mean, jaden jeong is the head of the 2016-2019 loona sound and i gotta have to appreciate him for picking good tracks man. their songs are also one of the bases of sound for my oc kpop group sound in @interactivemochi. also a discussion starter question: will modhaus actually be able to do the multi-unit many-member group that sm ent wanted with nct? i actually think they will because indie labels are more experimental than the big corporate ones (aka nct will be great with their infinite concept if they're committed and take those risks) just look at jaden jeong's print on onlyoneof and loona, they're pretty small but their fans are loyal af. yet, i'm merely just a casual listener of triples because they play around with nfts (and i am a biz student who doesn't like crypto and nft)
depeche mode and other new wave and 80s experimental musicians
when you have a gen z kid who likes older songs rather than new ones, they have to listen to new wave and synth-pop, specifically depeche mode. people usually associate them with post-punk along with talking heads, joy division, new order, kate bush etc and i can definitely agree. new wave is one of my favorite genres because of how experimental they are and it is exactly what depeche mode is doing + i love the resurgence of old brit bands like the shoegaze bands that includes slowdive, mbv, and siouxsie and the banshees
don't forget that this is meant to be 5 songs and i wanted to be extra because i can be extra *wink*
tagging: @ujunxverse (you could definitely do it on @/orochxi if you want), my fellow untag people from ilem's post @boba-beom @robin-obsessed, also others such as @dim-sun @tyunlatte @heart2beom @itz-yerin @txt-yaomi @talesofyuan @euphor1a + anyone who wanna join cuz i would love to hear new music :D

“I just think you're cool
I dig your cinema
Do you think I'm cool too?
Or am I too into you?
Tell me what you want and you got it, love
I want all of you, gimme all you got”
It’s confirmed, Harry styles is a pe!reader and Chris stan
Like don’t tell me you read that lyrics and don’t think that there’s a chance Chris wrote them for her lmao
alright but chris and pe!reader definitely listened to the album and one day, when he was doing press for TGM, he was asked.
“what have you been listening to lately? any good music you can recommend?”
“ummm, been listening to harry styles lately,” he answered, “his new album that came out is just fantastic.”
“wow, hear it here first, chris evans is a harry styles fan!” the interviewer exclaimed.
chris laughed, “yeah, yeah, huge fan. my wife and i love him, we’ve been to a few of his shows, great energy, great vibe, he’s just—he’s an incredible artist.”
“yeah i remember the world freaking out when you and y/n were spotted at his show,” the interviewer said, “what’s one song of his new album that you can dedicate to your wife, y/n?”
“um,” chris chuckled slightly, “i mean, i’m not a great singer, that’s—that’s my wife’s thing, but i do sing cinema a lot to her,” he revealed, “that’s her song. like, i just think you’re cool,” he sang lowly, “that’s—it’s so accurate, it’s just about her. i think she’s the coolest person.”

heyy nina!!! i have a totally (un)original question for you :3 what are some of your favorite music genres? also who are some of your favorite bands/artists? to me you seem like the living breathing embodiment of mazzy star and the cure /pos :3
also how are you doing mentally? i hope you’re taking great care of yourself and having a wonderful day and life!!!! thanks for being the coolest ever :3
hello nonnie bonnie!!! i thought it was very original and wonderful actually! i really love answering questions about the boys, but it is always really special and touching to me when i get a mun question/a personal question about myself because it makes me feel very well loved! like i'm not just someone who writes a fanfiction you guys like, but someone who you feel comfortable talking to. <333
more answers under the cut! i apologize if they get long and personal i get really excited when you guys ask about me <33333 c':
as for music...hm.
i feel like a lot of the reason i get anxious writing music hcs into pep and let most of you take the well is because...i don't really feel like i'm very musically inclined or music snobby the way a lot of my friends are ( who i love, i just know less? ) i am the one person who will never ask for the aux because i am anxious about djing!
BUT THAT IS HIGH PRAISE FRIEND OH MY GOODNESS!!! i looooooove mazzy star and the cure!!! that feels very sapphic dreamy cool girl book store poetry writing student tote bag older sister vibes to me which is exactly what i try to exude so i am honored aaawww
i am not sure what to call my music taste i guess i like a lot of sad girl like indie pop punk stuff? alternative girlie stuff, things with poetic lyricism, sort of ethereal lusty raw visceral energies usually in the form of dreamy, sad or angry female vocals...unfortunately it can occasionally b male manipulator-y and depressing
( shoutout to stan season when i gaslit myself into liking maccafferty and the smiths and front bottoms heeeelp rip brother )
i listen to a lot of beach bunny, phoebe bridgers, tv girl, fiona apple, lana del rey ( specifically her unreleased stuff like queen of disaster, meet me in the pale moonlight, jealous girl ), marina and the diamonds ( can you tell i was raised on electra heart and never recovered ), noah kahans music has been really healing to me, taylor swift of course ( in fifth grade i did my biography project on her! )
i also have been litening to olivia rodrigos newest album and i really like her vibes!! being a girl is literally hell i get it. also ARGUE WITH YOUR MOM...ravenstan would totally rock on guts. he supports unruly unhinged young women letting their freak flag fly like if you dont think he was growing up listening to bikini kill u are wrong. riot boy raven my beloved!!!
also in middle high school...i listened to a lot of fall out boy, mcr, panic at the disco ( before their music got really bad oh my god...also fuck u brendon urie but my favorite song was new perspective for sooooo long i loved that song ), i was a pop punk girlie omg! at heart i still am really!
i hope that helps!!!! i am not really sure how to assess my vibe but i hope i pass the vibe check on music!!!
as far as my health goes i might make reblog this and answer again ( also you were really sweet thank you i love you )

remember that picture of lhh with a whiteboard in the back full of song titles? those didn't quite make the final cut but are the only songs i ever got excited for. i think baby honey and complicated freak were there, can't remember if there were others. also anna and medicine because he had already sang those live and we were begging for studio versions for a long time (i could've survived with only the live performances anyway) other than that i truly only ever loved hunger... the rest are meh. they were rejects for a reason 🤷🏻‍♀️
Baby Honey and Complicated Freak ARE 👏🏻 SO 👏🏻 FUCKING GOOD 👏🏻 They leaked with HSH, and I'm not gonna lie, they completely overshadowed the new album for me 😂😂 (HSH really grew on me with time though). I love HS1, but it would have been my favourite album by far if he had gone with a more rocky vibe instead of so many ballads. He had so many good songs there.
I agree with you about the leaks I like the most, but that's absolutely normal as well. Harry is an amazing songwriter and singer but songs are left out for a reason. Plus, the ones leaked recently seem way more unfinished/raw than the others, so there's that as well.

Hey! I wanna get to know my Swiftie mutuals. Tell me your top 5 songs and albums from her. Feel free to go into depth/explain if you'd like!
hey!!! meowdy! ( yup, i read your bio and agree) nice to meet you! i'm sorry for all my lore but it is hard to talk about things i love without bringing personal matters with it. i feel like i can talk about taylor lyrics without trauma dumping so i am truly sorry for the things i wrote. but since you said you want to know your mutuals here i go!
TOP ALBUMS
1 - folklore: it is such an ethereal experience for me. i love how all the stories in it are connected in some way and the way she could create so many details for all the characters tbh i feel like i could have been any one of them and in some ways i am. i love how every song feels like summer rain, is comforting and vulnerable. i was the first album of her that i felt i could relate to 100%. is my all time favorite.
(now the positions after folklore vary depending of the day for me so i may change them later)
2 - the tortured poets department: i know is new and everyone is freaking out about it but for me that's one of the most honest pieces of music i have ever listen to it. i keep caught on all these debates about to whom she wrote it but is so stupid because these songs were never about anyone BUT taylor. she could have dated anyone and still wrote these masterpieces, it isn't about a man, it is about taylor swift. and she put SO MUCH of her heart in it that i can feel it. all that anger, all that pain, all that fear it all came from her. she is the artist. i know some critics say is easy to write 31 songs if they all look similar (haters gonna hate is so fucking true) but for me as an inspiring artist is a relief to know you can create different things about the same topic and don't feel ashamed about it. you can write about the same theme a thousand times and guess what? it can be a thousand times different because it will be a thousand different parts of yourself. everything about ttpd is so beautiful ( plus dead poets society references makes it perfect bc is my favorite movie)
3 - evermore: follows the folklore aesthetic and vibes. marjorie? champagne problems??? tolerate it???? Does she have a hidden camera in my backpack or something?
4 - speak now: i'm nineteen wtf she wrote something like THAT when she was nineteen?????? this album is so magical, It has some of the fantasy she later put on folklore and evermore but with more joy and cheerful melodies. listening to speak now is like opening my favorite book over and over. i wish i could be emma falling in love and i wish to live a timeless love and i wish i could sing long live with my friends/found family after winning a battle. i just love it all so much and never grown up? i listened to it when i was packing my things to move out of my hometown so you can imagine how much i relate to it. castles crumbling is also so close to my heart because i constantly feel i'm burning bridges and fucking things up. so yep all these fears of loneliness and failure goes present in this album goes deep .
5 - midnights: as a HUGE fan of the moon ( the moon is my true soulmate and i don't care if it "just a sattelite"or a "bunch of rocks and dust glued together" because guess what? i'm also a bunch of universal dust glued together) the whole celestial aesthetic of the album hits me like a train. all these confessions, these letters, these maniacal thoughts i have after the sun sets are not only mine. i love how she hugged me through these lyrics and showed me that everyone is haunted by ghosts after midnight. but the night time isn't just a place for nightmares, there is also hope, and joy and good dreams.
TOP SONGS
1 - mirrorball : since the first time i listened to it all i could think about is "someone finally sees me"
2 - the archer: she saw right through me. i am so scared of being seen because if someone sees me, if someone truly knows me it would hurt 1000 times more being rejected by them.
3 - you're on your own, kid: i lost all my friends after high school, literally no one of the fucking people i used to talk to every day and go to their houses and remember their birthdays. all of the people i used to open up to, the people i used to cry and laugh with just didn't reach out anymore and i know it is half my fault but it made me realize how truly alone i am as a human. It doesn't matter how much you connect with someone you are always on your own at the end of the day and she literally summarized that feeling in a fucking song.
4 - i can do it with a broken heart: because you still can be a mirrorball even when the ones you built the show for have left.
5 - the lakes: dead poets society vibes and i'm also a poet and i also want to run away.
6 - renegade: (you asked for 5 but here is a bonus track for you haha <3) i sing that song is a platonic way because it translates so much of my relationships with my friends and family. i sing along thinking about them and i know they could sing thinking about me because of trauma and miscommunication is such a top topic in all that.

as many ttpd thoughts as i can coherently write down
first of all grateful for the folklore x midnights x 1989/rep sound we have going on here. i hate comparing artists but seriously the best way i can explain it is phoebe bridgers this album sounds like phoebe bridgers. not like it's a bad thing it's phoebe fucking bridgers!!!
i feel like it's so easy to call music "intimate," whether because of lyrics that feel personal or just a certain raw sound, or whatever else, but this album truly is the most intimate thing i think taylor's ever given us. i don't know what sets it apart, cuz at this point she's written plenty of deeply personal lyrics, but the way i best know how to describe it is that it truly feels like she trusts us.
anyway i'm willing to admit that this album isn't a spectacle or a revolution or game changer, and i know it won't satisfy everyone (ngl i'm scared to see what everyone else is saying bc they'll never understand Like I Do) but damn it sometimes that much is more than enough. without further adieu
fortnight a solid vibe. i'd literally love any song with the lyric "i love you it's ruining my life"
ttpd love that lucy and jack cameo that's about it. but really who else is gonna hold you
mbobhft AUGGGHHH THAT HOOK. you'd think you'd be able to tell which tracks are entirely self-written but you'd never guess some of the best tracks would you? jokes on me. love the metaphor (as i tend to do), big fan of infantilizing men (no like actually)
down bad this song was not clicking at first but it won me over with the alien abduction theme
so long london aw fuck yeah i knew i was right to claim this one. that hook is delectable. every verse is like a juicy kiss on the mouth i love this song yOU SWORE THAT YOU LOVED ME BUT WHERE WERE THE CLU
but daddy i love him this was the point where i thought to myself "wow this album is a lot more romantic than i would've thought" which, in hindsight, idk if that can be the consensus but still--this is such a feel good happy lovely time
fresh out the slammer evermore would love this one. yee haw
florida i mean there was really no way for this song to be bad and damn. twas not. this is a screamer fs. how on earth they managed to make a song about fucking florida feel like this mysterious shady world that we the people are not apart of is astounding to me
guilty as sin yas girl let your freak flag fly!!! successor to false god fr
who's afraid of little old me oh. o,h my god. taylor. taylor r u good honey. this song is fucking batshit wild oh my god YES GIRL TELL EM i will never be the same i could end the california drought with these tear ducks holy shit im gonna go set something on fire
i can fix him i love this bc this is literally my best friend and now they're gonna know how they look. that "woah maybe i can't" both absolutely slaps and is hilarious. also love how horny that bridge was yas girl let your freak flag fly!!
loml oh god. lmao my ass rlly thought this album wasn't gonna be too depressing. they had me in the first half ngl. i'm not crying you're crying nahhh we're both crying and you know it. the lyrics here really popped off, like more than the rest of the album and that's saying something. bonus i remember seeing someone theorize that it was actually gonna be "loss of my life" instead of love, and while i was listening i had that in the back of my mind, but then i was like "ok no it's actually love" but then THEY WERE RIGHT and i felt so accomplished for no good reason. so if ur that person who called it, good job brother
i can do it with a broken heart this one shocks me so good oml why is this making me wanna throw it back. with all do respect if you didn't want us to enjoy your suffering why did you make your suffering such a bop. /j that "i'm miserable and nobody knows!! :D" gives me chills but like in a good way. "try and come for my job" literally get it queen i love you
smallest man who ever lived it's quite funny to me that literally nobody was claiming this track and then it permanently altered my brain chemistry. back at it with the hooks damn. wow this one really. this one is really sticking with me guys
the alchemy yay the vibes are back!!!! sweet simple romance you gotta love it
clara bow you had me at that intro. shove that guitar down my throat if u will. this is the better version of the lucky one (im not sorry.) damn "you look like Taylor Swift in this light" gets me every time i'm sorry that will never not hit
the black dog OLD HABITS DIE SCREAAAAAMMMIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG i did not expect to like this one as much as i do but i can't stop thinking about it
imgonnagetyouback i had really mixed feelings but i literally can't dislike this song it's straight up good (also this song is so gorgeous-coded its wild)
the albatross idk i just love this one it is so sweet to me. in the way molasses is sweet but still
chloe or sam or sophia or marcus this melody has wriggled its way into the few folds of my brain and i don't see it leaving soon. i love me some good whimsy. fr as i'm listening to it again rn i'm realizing how good this production is. anyways bi rights
how did it end? you know................... i was really trying to not tie her real life into any of these songs, since i really don't know that much lore + i'm not a big fan of obsessing over celebrities personal lives--relationships most of all (especially when it comes to taylor)--in general, but damn i immediately did just that with this song and.. wow. but aside from all of that oh my god welcome back to Songs On This Album That Absolutely Haunt Me
so high school this one's kinda crazy bc damn it's such a taylor swift song but the sound is so new to her and it kind of makes me cry. but anyhow "touch me while your bros play grand theft auto" is the funniest fucking line i have ever heard in my life
i hate it here oh wow hahhahahhahahahha taylor what the fuck :3 imagine relating to this song on an cosmic level lmfaooooo
thank you aimee removing from irl context, putting this song next to mean genuinely makes me want to cry. like the maturity and growth both happy and sad is so evident it's like watching my child graduate
i look in people's windows another stellar string hook thank you and goodbye. ok but fr the visual here is inherently funny
the prophecy claiming this one for the neurodivergents
cassandra yeah yeah drama i know but damnnnn greek mythology BANGER
peter *taking notes* never... trust.. a man.. named..... peter.........
the bolter she's a runner she's a track star (can you tell i've run out of things to say it's just a good fucking album)
robin ohohoho i am an absolute SLUT for a good ode to childhood
the manuscript now that's a story
and at last--my current rankings:
who's afraid of little old me?
so long, london
how did it end?
chloe or sam or sophia or marcus
the smallest man who ever lived
florida!!!
clara bow
the alchemy
loml
i can do it with a broken heart
the albatross
my boy only breaks his favorite toys
i look in people's windows
cassandra
fortnight
i hate it here
the black dog
but daddy i love him
thanK you aIMee
the bolter
guilty as sin?
robin
i can fix him (no really i can)
the prophecy
peter
the manuscript
so high school
fresh out the slammer
the tortured poets department
imgonnagetyouback
down bad
now i know being critical is not one of my specialties but seriously it's a solid album ok. midnights is literally my baby and it has a skip for me so
now naturally my enthusiasm for each song will potentially decrease and most certainly increase over time cuz that's how i process albums buttttttt yuh 👍
almost any other artist building an entire persona about being an emo poet would make me roll my eyes but damn it she's so right

So long London
Track 5 wish me luck :)
I am OBSESSED (with your ex) with the call and answer in the beginning ahfjdhsjdhchfj

This has changed me forever
But I love it so
Overall 8.9/10
But Daddy I love him
This right here is fear
Side note: Thank God this draft saved
THIS IS THE BEST SONG ON THE ALBUM I LOVE IT SM
girl taylor you can't just say shit like that then go "no I'm not"
I feel like this whole songs reason for existence was to freak people the fuck out.
Like that one line "I'm having his baby no I'm not but you should see your faces"
Taylor was like "what if I pranked their asses?"
But still my favorite so far
Overall 9.5/10
Fresh out the slammer
it was really good I liked it. Not as much as the others but I did like it.
Also why did the beat randomly change near the end. I'm not crazy that happened right?
Also that beat change was kinda giving reputation soooo
Overall 7.0/10
Florida!!! Ft Florence +the machine
I don't really know if I love it or like it yet
Its either gonna be one of my favorites or I will only listen to it once or twice.
But I will say Florence's voice is heavenly
Also f bomb number 3 taylor.
Overall either 6.3/10 or 8.4/10
Who's afraid of little old me? (I am. I'm afraid)
THIS THIS IS WHAT I THOUGHT THE WHOLE ALBUM WOULD BE
I LOVE THIS ONE ITS MY FAVORITE PERIOD DONE THATS IT.
Hfjchdjdbfjfjd holy shit I am in love with you taylor swift
Overall 10.5/10 exquisite
I can fix him (no really I can)
AGAIN THE FOLKLORE EVERMORE VIBES IS WHAT I EXPECTED
this song is better than I thought and I love it oh so much
I envisioned mist or fog for this song idk why
It just has misty vibes
Still I love this song soo much
Overall 10.8/10 (they are just gonna keep going up I think)
loml
loss of my life at the end 😭😭😭
Literally the saddest song on the album
I love it sooooo much though
I just realized I think I forgot guilty as sin? Oops
Still 10/10 song
Overall 11/10
Guilty as sin?
I predicted that this song would be my favorite and it might be if I listen to it more but rn it isn't
It is the most relatable tho.
Am j allowed to cry apparently not.
I do really like this song tho
Overall 9.8/10
I can do it with a broken heart
I have 2 thoughts
1 this song is so relatable its funny
"I'm so miserable and nobody even knows"
This whole song is just like:
✨✨️✨️✨️ I'm super depressed ✨ ✨️✨️✨️
And she's so real for that
But thought 2
This song is so sad and now every time I watch the eras tour I will think of "the crowd keeps chanting more"
Overall 12/10
The smallest man who ever lived
H my God this is like literally a diss track
Like dam taylor he's already dead.
The bridge >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I was like "OH YEAH HERE WE GO" when that bridge started.
Overall 7.3/10
The alchemy
not what I expected
Definitely my least favorite
I don't know why but I don't like this one as much as the other ones
Overall 5.9/10
Clara Bow (again we are afraid)
this one was really nice
I like the message of like hey there were people before me and there will be people after me
Ya know like everyone is like omg your the next taylor swift
I like that she's addressing that.
Overall 9.8/10
Okay that's it I did the whole album. I will do the other bonus(???) Tracks later cause Jesus christ there is a lot of them. But thanks for reading my shit opinions on @taylorswift and the new album.

new sensation
what a weekend THAT was. damn, it never fails to amaze me when i look up and all around me and realize that we are standing on a red carpet. isn't that sort of every little girl's dream at least at some point in their life? even if just for a second, you wanna know what it would be like... i mean, i always did. it's only made even more ridiculous and amazing by the fact that i get to do this stuff with my friends. the guys and i had a blast. let's not even try and talk about presenting "best rock album" cause i'm pretty sure i nearly pissed my pink tou tou. this years grammy's were, without a doubt, the best we've ever been a part of. and i'll follow that up by saying, whatever is going on with the 3 of us - however this is working out - it's something new. it's unexplainable. and new! i don't know how else to say it without sounding like i'm forcing it and being a downright d-bag. something just clicked and whatever that was, i'm so freaking incredible grateful for it.
we really made the best of our entire weekend. did a brand new photoshoot - i mean how much longer could you guys crop and re-edit old photos? must have been a little more than awkward too, right? well, lindsey byrnes knocked it out of the park. we had a blast getting all dressed up (i might have had too much fun... but you're used to it by now) and sooner than later, some of those pics will be up on the interwebz for us all to gawk at. we hung out a lot with our label folk. both Fueled By Ramen AND Atlantic folk, if any of the haters are wondering! we even went to the label's after party and held down a whole corner in which we danced the night away and onlookers were all "wtf" til they came over and got down with us. the best part is that we actually planned out a lot of our 2011. i know everyone has been hoping for an EP and while we don't want to confirm anything 100% due to the fact that well, we just don't wanna confirm it... i can say that we do have enough songs *in the works* for one and we will be recording some of them after we get back from Brasil :) thumbs up? yes? no? mmm yes.
just seems like someone opened up all the windows and let all the air back in. wish you all could have been right there with us over the weekend. hanging out with us and feeling our insanely good vibes, haha! we're ready to give back to you guys for all the love we've felt from you over the past couple of months. heck, for the past 7 years! there's something new happening here and it's definitely good.
LOVE  hayleyball
