For example, for me, one such movie is "Master and Commander: The Far side of the World" :brilliant ensemble cast all across the board, good chemistry between the main leads, engaging story, very good soundtrack, fx that still hold, 99% hystorically accurate 😂 but despite this not many have heard or watched this movie.

Hi @shimako! Sorry for answering your question late, but I postponed it because I kept trying to think of a list. And honestly, I saw the words historical drama and forgot the underrated part so this is a bit of a disaster, but I'll make it work. Let's just say this is an incomplete list of tv shows that had an impact on me at the time and ages that I had when I watched them. And you'll see that I barely remember the plot, but I sort of know how I felt.

1. Rome

Is this underrated? Hell no! But perhaps in today's age of tv, a lot of people have forgotten about that show. Only two seasons, but it was among the first batch of prestige tv in the middle of the 2000s. I liked it so much that it made go to the bookstore and buy a book about Caesar. If I went through my Egypt phase in middle school, then my Ancient Rome period came in high school.

2. The Borgias

At the time of its runtime, I think it was pretty big. Although I don't think it won many awards. I also remember it being used as an example on scholarly papers about Hollywood using Eastern and Central European studios because of cheap labor and good locations. Budapest and Prague can replace Florence, lol.

The Borgias was naughty. And it had Jeremy Irons who is a fantastic actor in my opinion. Eventually they actually leaned heavily into the siblings relationship which I thought was daring. They went there 👀. And the costumes were so beautiful!.

3. The Tudors

I remember this show through the eyes of a 13-14 year old that developed a massive crush on the actor portraying Henry the VIII. This was like the rock'n'roll version of the story. And it was sexy. A bit over the top. A stepping stone for some actors that would become a lot more famous in the years to come. I think it was on HBO so probably not underrated at the time, but mostly forgotten nowadays.

4. Versailles

I can't remember if it's French or they talk in English. But it was lots of fun. And really gay. They didn't stay away from that. That's all I remember, but give it a try.

5. Taboo

This is that show with a really brooding Tom Hardy who remains like that throughout the story. But if you're interested in 1800s London and England's imperialist plan and its effects on colonized territories, this might be it.

6. Babylon Berlin

I don't know if this fits into the list, but it is a great portrayal of 1920s Berlin. A period in which artistic freedom and experimentation was at its height, but also juxtaposed with political unrest, creating this environment that would lay the ground for the rise of the fascist party. It's a german show, an HBO production and I like that it's not glamourized. You can see it in their clothes, their hygiene habits, their visible sweat and run down outfits they wear in clubs. It feels real.

7. Black Sails

I first heard of this when I wanted to watch more Toby Stephens movies/series but I almost stayed away because it was a Michael Bay production. Black Sails is so smart. At first, it might lure in the wrong audience, even based on the first trailer. It looks like a pirate show full of action sequences and machismo. And then you actually watch it and it flips that exact narrative. It is a direct critique of imperialism. It is also such a good case for any film and gender & queer studies analysis. But more than that, what really sealed the deal for me in what is considered a grade B series with grade B actors, is the meta-textual discourse on storytelling. It's about creating those pirate legends, of creating narratives to protect themselves against the empire. And all that is unfolded through brilliant lines of dialogue. It still remains a 10/10 tv show for me and the actual underrated one.

Passionate about speaking up for others or on what's wrong. Doesn't tolerate excuses on people's age, culture, etc, as a reason to be a jerk (period!).

Physical traits:

I channeled the song Every Girl by Young Money and the lyrics I heard was "I like a long-haired, thick redbone" (I'm ctfu 😭). So Chan's future spouse could look like that. They have a darker complexion. I'm seeing that their skin color is brown skin with red undertones. Very long, black hair. They could like to wear their hair straight or in braids but their natural hair texture is wavy to curly. They dress like a tomboy or like to be covered up. I heard "Feetsies :3 XD" ew 😭💀! Lmfao Chan's future spouse likes for their feet to be out when they're not working. They could typically be seen wearing sneakers or sandals. They could wear their work clothes a lot or they usually wear their hair up in a ponytail, bun, etc. "I hate having to do my hair". On special occasions they like to wear sundresses and let their hair down. Their body could be on the heavier side in terms of weight, but they have strong muscles.

Career:

They are currently a student or attending school. University perhaps? (studying for PhD or receiving a degree for their master's or bachelor's). If not they go to a technical school (cosmetology for example). Something about the military is significant to them. They are a writer. Possibly an author or a journalist. Their job is related to the media. Public relations, social media manager, or news editor. This could also mean they work a government job like handling/signing to approve legal documents or delivering mail (working for the post office).

I've been drawing for about ahhhh 16 years( 8 of which are actually like serious school stuff than just a hobby) but tbh its only really been in the last 3 where i feel like ive been making actual progress in improving my stuff. but thats my personal path in art and its always gonna be different for you or anyone else.

anyways 3 years ago i made some changes to my drawing habits and study methods that were like. real specific to where i wanted my art to go (cleaner lines, better foundations, gesture, etc etc). I worked on thing one at a time tho!! it can get overwhelming real quick if youre not careful. So the stuff im gonna give you is geared towards....well, me? both in content im searching for and just the classes that resonate how i like learning

OK BOOKS:

CLEANER LINES. I use to have a habit of making like EXTREMELY sketchy and unconfident lines. This is a landscape book that i literally just copied every single thumbnail. Helped me get into the habit of both using only a few strokes to get an idea across and breaking down complicated subjects into shapes

ANATOMY. Morpho series. Its not a how-to-book tho its just a compilation of an artists break downs. This one is my fav tho. And helped a lot when i was struggling to understand like ALL BODY PARTS

CLOTHING. This is probably my fav clothing book. Very short and published in the 1940s. Its helpful specifically to ME cause its clothing is closer to TGAA outfits(mens) than more modern books LOL

And now CLASSES. I do actually have an art degree from a university and let me tell you. I was left SEVERELY lacking any skills i needed to go into the industry I was interested in 👍 (not cause of the professors but cause the school itself was actively killing its art department :p) So i was kinda just left looking into online stuff on my own (AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE!!!! MY BELOVED AFFORABLE CLASSES )

NEW MASTERS ACADEMY. Its a subscription-have access to all the videos for a month to a year- kind of thing. cheapest is about $40 a month. REALLY REALLY helped my anatomy and foundations. Steve Huston: Good for entire step by step anatomy break downs. Micheal Mattesi & Karl Gnass: Gesture. I've watched a handful of other videos but these instructors were the most helpful to me

DRAWING AMERICA. A lot more pricey. Around $100-$300. but youre basically paying to own the recorded classes and keep them forever. I've only really taken Will Westons classes cause he focuses on BGS and props. But he also has some nice composition stuff thrown in there too.

(I've taken a LOT of online courses and the thing about a majority of them is that they arent really taught by professors or teachers so they tend to be more like a giant Tip video than an actual lesson plan. And if u haven't taken an art class before the difference is HUGE)

and i think thats it? i guess if theres anything else i can give u its this tip:

you mentioned my art is humanizing. Thats a comment ive heard a few times and i guess its odd to say but i dont really know what youre seeing? Like i understand the "ships in love" but cause i did go out of my way to draw sappy love faces 10 bajillion times until i was satisfied. But alive? hmmmmmm like THINK i might know what you may be responding to. Its a combo of the gesture and my effort in trying not to loose the energy of the original sketch when i go to clean it up. And what ive figured out is this. Youre not outlining or tracing your under sketch youre REDRAWING it .

i put the under sketch and clean up next to each other so hopefully this makes sense but like. when i do an under sketch im only really focused on building the figure. When u build a figure youre drawing out bigger shapes and breaking them down into smaller and smaller ones. Lines feel like they have more energy at this stage because the circles and cylinders are fully drawn out, making them have a continuous momentum. So then when it comes to the clean up stage. im not looking to trace the exact lines i drew out (if u notice my final isnt a 1 to 1 copy of the og) im trying to follow the flow of the original lines. thats why youll see lines go thru the figure sometimes, its me trying to keep the energy in that line even if its not suppose to be very long.

idk if this makes any sense at all.....and maybe i should have recorded me actually drawing this out but [shrug emoji] i could do it later if anyone is interesting in wtf is happening here. CAUSE I SWEAR ever since i started cleaning my sketches like this i started to get those comments. but also i could be wrong too.....then i REALLY dont know what im doing ahahahah

Beatrice is a sculpture amongst five artist who were selected to go through a paid internship (paid internships amirite) at the louvre. This internship would allow artist to push their creative bounds outside of all the boxes that may have constricted them in their daily lives.

When they all finished their pieces their predecessors would pick and choose which pieces were “worthy” of being apart of the museum's modern artist showing. Each of the artist who were selected had only a year to finish all of their pieces, but Beatrice finished hers in under 8 months.

Mostly due to the fact that she would stay working until the sunrise because she was a perfectionist but also... she was passionate.

However so was Ava once upon a time, but now all he can do is sit and watch through the lifeless eyes of a statue... [BANGER]

Ava can only sit and watch Beatrice work through one of the paintings in the museum

- So maybe… Sister Francis who’s like the wicked witch, cursed Ava to watch her life pass her by (kinda like an continuation for her time spent in the orphanage as a paraplegic) so like being trapped in a painting/statue, was sister Francis’ way of “sparing her from death.” THIS CAN STILL APPLY IF I PLAN ACCORDINGLY ND SWITCH UP SOME THINGS BEAR (haha pun , im so funny iykyk) WITH ME

- WAIT SO LIKE WHAT IF AVA STILL HAS THE HALO JAMMED IN HER BACK AFTER HAVING ALREADY BEEN KILLED BY SIS FRANCIS (WHICH SISTER KNEW THIS BUT USED HER TO HIDE THE ARTIFACT IN THE PAINTING/SCULPTURE ALONG WITH AVA WITHOUT REALIZING THAT IT WOULD RESURRECT HER LOL) this is kinda contradictory lol

- I was also thinking whichever pieces Ava is “trapped” in or “bound” to, belonged to one of the predecessors that was also selected at one point just like Beatrice. Which obviously makes this person very likely to have had something to do with what happened to Ava. I mean technically the predecessor could have smth to do with what happened to Ava, like this person worked with sister Francis and made the sculpture so she would have somewhere to hide the halo (not anticipating a entire human being apart of the equation but ya know life or whatever 👁️👄👁️)

- Beatrice however does end up finding out about Ava’s situation (SOMEHOW) Beatrice probably things its just sleep deprivation when she sees a singular teardrop fall from the eyes of the statue or like fucking uhhhh???

- Beatrice then is somehow convinced later on that she can break the curse (bc Ava’s smart ass would definitely find a way to fuck w bea) so bea maybe finds out about the existence of another witch (Lilith) to help her break the curse, if shes will lol

- the part im having trouble with is incorporating Lilith into the story because odds are bea doesn’t know about the supernatural 🤩 so like the FUCK would she seek out a random witch for???? Uhhhhh mayhaps Lilith senses the halos energy AFTER it activates and goes to investigate in the museum but also figured thatd draw too much attention, so she finds a way to get a job there.. which is how she comes across BEATRICE HUZZAH 🎉 YALL I JUST FIGURED OUT MY OWN PLOT HOLE IT MIGHT NOT MAKE SENSE TO YALL BUT HELL

- Also, Camila, Yasmin, Mary, Shannon, along with Beatrice are the candidates for the internship. (Camila and Beatrice are roommates) (Shannon and Mary are married and roommates WHAT ARE THE ODDS!!?!??) and YASMINE UHHH lives nearby (bc the internship also paid for housing, and Yasmin didn’t really require the housing still determining whether or not she is a nun)

- so Shannon and Mary were never nuns nor part of the convent, Beatrice is a reformed nun who decided art was more important than her vows (slay sister artist), Camila was getting her masters in cyber security but had always felt her true calling was art and saw this opportunity and took it, and yea I guess Yasmin is still a nun in this au but like of the more chill variety (so in terms of where she stays which is the convent, she was able to get lucky enough to commute back n forth to the museum due to the short distance)

- also Camila decided to either stay late with Beatrice one night/come pick bea up and witnesses the weird aforementioned thing Ava does in the sculpture or painting after being revived by the halo and unlike ya know screaming when she awoke 🥹😖 (god this is somehow sadder than the actual storyline wth imo) she has to silently cry instead out of the sculpture LIKE IN THAT ONE SCENE IN THE SHOW OMFG YOU KNOW THE ONE WHEN AVA AND MARY SLEEP IN THE CHURCH IN THAT ONE TOWN YEAH

- okay… so it is 5am but I am sticking with the sculpture idea bc the fucking teardrop sounds cool lollll like bea sees it, wipes her eyes blinking hard, and Camila is just like 🧍🏻”ayo they done sprung a leak in here???” BUT THIS TIME IT AINT A FUCKING LEAK YO WHAT??!??? CRAZY!???!?

- also yea Lilith DEF a security guard (so she has clearance to being in the museum late at night idc if thats not how it is irl this will be biblically accurate information in my au) and that is how she comes across bea and Camila (ooh woo *winks*) bc you already know im going to have Beatrice use Camila as leverage to steal Lilith’s heart so they can help get Ava outta the sculpture (also Camila and bea are allowed to stay late too yea yea bc they sectioned off apart of the museum for them to work where Ava’s sculpture happened to be hehehe, im scheming, gay scheming, if I may HEHEHEE)

- so like idk what else to add currently bc if el halo is still in Ava’s back when she gets out of the sculpture then she can magically walk again but like not immediately (bc like after she gets out bea, Camila, and Lilith too lol bc she will be the witchy bestie chasing after Camila like a lost puppy , ANYWAYS they realize that they cant just take a freaked out, unstable, Ava to the hospital w/o questions arising bc in this she was declared “missing” from the orphanage, ANYWAYS X2 Sorry I have adhd unmedicated, they take Ava back to bea and cam’s apartment nd call Shannon and Mary bc Mary is a nurse (we love a multi tasking queen) who helps alba and what not. Mary and Shannon come to find out what happened, but also bea and cam let ava stay “secretly” in their apartment so they can figure out wtf to do from there)

- nd like tbh i dont wanna make huge conflict bc ava already been hurt enough but after she gets out of the sculpture she gets to know bea and all that cute shit and gets to experience the life she missed out on, but that would create a plot hole bc if Lilith can sense the halo that means Francis can too (so who knows ava may find out the halo gives her powers and kills Francis by “accident” in this timeline too HAHAH) so maybe Francis sends the predecessor who created the sculpture only to find it shattered

I know this is getting away from the internship aspect of the story (im trying to be consistent bc like bea, cam, and Lilith needed to have a reason to be in the museum that late at night but like if they all worked there thatd be BORING so im improvising but THIS IS JUST BRAINSTORMING) and also kinda overshadowing yasmin (so as much as I love her she may just be a far removed side character reeeee)

Before I begin, I just want to say I appreciate every single one of you. You know what makes me the happiest when I come on here? When I see people say things like this, "I don't agree with you. But, I still like to read what you have to say." When I read that, it makes me love you all more. It makes it all worth it. So, thank you ALL!! Now, on to the post.

The Flying Pasta game is a concept of manipulation. That term was created by me, but the action is as old as time. A con throws out a bunch of overwhelming ideas and concepts just to see what reaction the mark gives. Let me give you a real-life example.

If you know this blog, you know this already; I apologize for the repetitiveness. My ex was, and is, a master manipulator, con artist, door-to-door salesman, and a murderer. But, the murdering didn't happen until after I had moved on and he got out of prison, and I lost one of the most special people in my life because of this psychopath. That is a story I don't think I can tell here right now. But I digress...

Whenever he would be in a house trying to sell something, and his usual tricks failed right off, he'd use this trick. What you do is overwhelm whoever you are talking to about whatever.

REAL LIFE EXAMPLE WITH NAMES CHANGED: When the common ways of using logic or reasoning doesn't work, get creative and make it confusing. Confusion gets people easier than anything. Overwhelm the mark with a bunch of information about anything and watch for a reaction. Say you see they have a charm bracelet with seashells... notice it in conversation and use it to tangent on a rant.

So, you see the bracelet while trying to convince these people they need a $2000 Kirby vacuum. They're flat no. No budge. No movement at all. The mark is stuck on no. You see the bracelet, and you say "WHOA! I love that bracelet! I love sea shells! Did you know the [insert some most-likely made up random ocean fact]? Yeah, totally. When I was a kid, [insert sob story about someone to see if they relate]. It was hard. [Insert story about overcoming the hardship]. ..." And this goes on and on.

NONE OF THE STUFF SAID HAS TO BE, OR WILL BE TRUE. IT IS ALL NONSENSE TO TRIGGER ANY KIND OF RESPONSE FROM PEOPLE.

See what this author means? Storytelling is weaponized by con artists. Cons use whatever they can, to be honest. They will make up anything and everything to see what you react to, just to use it against you.

Now we all see why HMTQEII chose the path she did. She knew no response was the only response that could save you. If you do not respond, they have nothing to go on to manipulate. The only real way to absolutely ensure you cannot be conned, is to remove the conartist.

I am not trying to sound hateful, but this is the truth. If you entertain people on the dark triad, you will always lose. Trust this mouse on this one. This mouse has the stab marks and scars to prove it.

Think about it. Every time Jeremy Clarkson tried to apologize, what happened? His words were turned against him. Cons will use your reaction regardless of its type. If you show empathy to a sob story, you're getting got. If you show disdain and disgust, you will get got, too.

THE ONLY SURE WAY TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM CONS ARE TO REMOVE THEM FROM YOUR PRESENCE.

Final note: Con artists feed off of other people's emotional energy like the protomolecule from the Expanse feeds on radiation. Cons enjoy the chaos. Cons get a high from it.

for starters, i noticed that this version of “rules” i chose has a different cover art opposed to the one i’m used to (hot pink album)—this makes me think that your ep is going to be an original, or that its uniqueness makes it a standalone. it feels like the unique aspect revolves around the sound; maybe it doesn’t match the cover art or it’s more of something than expected to be? hard to decipher tbh and i feel like that’s part of the illusion on your end as well; i feel seductive and mystical but it's not at all sexual, it's mysterious. funnily enough this feels planned (obviously lmao); i sense hopeful energy, like wanting this reaction to happen or dreaming of a similar reaction. with the magician card and magic card (purple; creativity + spirituality) being present, this can indicate using divinity to receive this response as well (manifestation, praying, visualization). two cards representing metaphysical forces give me the impression of your spiritual team working overtime; watchful eyes are protecting this project and they're keeping it "safe" by making sure it's created with passion. you'll find yourself not feeling motivated or bothered to mess with your music although you really want to; maybe scrapping tracks that had potential but lacked the "it" factor—this is their influence behind the scenes. instead of using your perfectionism against you (trying to break it or cause disruption), your guides support the "bad" habit because it inevitably creates something good (understatement fs).

in terms of the public debut; it's going to be on a social media platform or streaming service (if not both)—channeling "snapchat" right now and it seems to be a reference to promoting your name wherever you can. this is a new new beginning, one that's more special than the last so you're doing what you have to without shame. apart from this determination you’ll be dealing with your own internal response; very self deprecating tbh, it seems you're not the happiest in this moment. despite the outcome being “good” and worth celebrating, you’re digesting the fact that good isn’t perfect. “validation” and a small frown on your face came in; you were expecting things to go a certain way, or the way you imagined it. the desired outcome isn’t reality (at least not in the beginning) and you’re resisting the acceptance of it. def work on getting out of your head beautiful, everyone has to start somewhere and it’s going to be worth the journey.

audience and ep wise, i’m hearing “good news” and seeing sirens go off lol. their perception of your persona will def lead into following the track of your music (day ones, supporters since the beginning). majority of the people that listen to your ep (music in general) will be piscean themselves; guided by neptune and either constantly in the dream state or wanting to escape it. your music offers sanctuary, especially since i’m seeing someone put in headphones and fall into their bed with a sigh. “melatonin.” it’s a drug, listening to your harmonies and instrumentals during late nights or in parked cars. this is the literal definition of a vibe, being one with the source and sitting in the moment. it’s immersive. the first artist that came to mind was jhenè aiko; her entire catalog is the embodiment of immersion, ten seconds in and you’re already floating lol; this is what you’ll master as an artist. very cool and it’ll be recognized as such. all in all you’ll have a beautiful rollout, especially considering that this will be a spiritual accomplishment and the first chapter of a new era. good luck!✨

The 2023 BET Awards began Sunday night with a bevy of rappers and artists set to honor the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.

Coco Jones, Doechii and GloRilla have been nominated for awards and are set to perform. Iconic rap groups and emcees including MC Lyte, Big Daddy Kane, Kid ’n Play, Master P, Remy Ma, Yo-Yo and the 69 Boyz will take the stage, too.

On Friday, BET announced Busta Rhymes as the recipient of the lifetime achievement award. Patti LaBelle told Rolling Stone she will perform a tribute to the late Tina Turner at the ceremony. Turner died in May; she was 83.

Though there will not be a host, DJs will cue performers and celebrities to take the stage throughout the ceremony. TV and film writers, including those who might normally work on the BET Awards, are currently on strike over pay and working conditions.

In May, the MTV Movie & TV Awards aired a pre-taped show without a host due to the writers strike. The Tony Awards, hosted by Ariana DeBose, was also unscripted.

After all, the audience can't see the vision in your head, just the work you put out there, so they'll just enjoy it for what it is! ^^

Oho, the elusive interests question! I have a hard time quantifying an exact order, so I'm just going to spew a ton of things haha

Manga/Anime

Huge fan of Urasawa's other work, for one. I haven't read all of them yet, but I can safely say 20th Century Boys is my favorite of his, (and has the best story and narrative pacing imo) and Master Keaton is a comfort anime/manga ☺️

Tiger & Bunny! I'll admit series 2 would take it down a few notches but series 1 as a standalone was just so good. Excellent character writing and a great time for dilf enjoyers. Series 2 still had great character writing, it was just really, really hard to follow the first act tbh.

Carole and Tuesday has a weirdly similar energy to T&B to me for some reason. Gives me the same type of joy. It's about struggling through the music industry and the culture of that and its BEYOND incredible.

I'm going to put Mushi-Shi and Moribito on the same talking point here because they have similar energies and similarly laid back protagonists in a fantastical world. Mushhi-Shi is, in my opinion, THE perfect anime. It's not my all time favourite, but it's the most well put-together for my tastes and great to soak up the atmosphere to. Moribito on the other hand is a beautiful story of found family, the dangers of imperialism eroding native cultures, and some coming of age. With a very good female protagonist might I add!

Currently I'm hopelessly obsessed with Kaiji. I dunno something about the battle of lowly peons against the capitalist hell machine is scratching an itch lol. It has tense and deeply flawed and honest human moments to rival Monster though, seriously.

Eureka Seven is another oldie I love, kinda a coming of age romance with mecha dressing that's steeped in music and counterculture. Naturally the OST is god tier and I have yet to find one that will ever match it.

I love the Ajin: Demi-Human manga. Wasn't as big a fan of the anime, but the art and characterization in the manga is really really strong.

Slowly, Blue Period is creeping into my favs. I just relate to its narrative about artists wanting to communicate and the struggle of non-linear skill progression, falling in and out of love with art, and there is a very interesting cast of fun characters.

There are others that are really good, but just don't speak so directly to me (or aren't on my mind right now LOL). Honourable mention to Mob Psycho 100 which is another near-perfect anime it just doesn't have the same level of resonance to me as these others on my list. Same for Legend of the Galactic heroes - really good media, but not QUITE speaking to me like these others.

I'll also put Mononoke (not Princess, just plain Mononoke) here too because my god is that ever an experience.

Non-Manga/Anime

So the biggest and oldest is Star Trek. I've been a Trekkie WAY longer than I was ever into anime. Spock, Data and Seven of Nine are my people. It was notably only 2020 when ifinalky watched Deep Space Nine and my FUCK is it ever the best of the bunch! Unparalleled character arcs my dude. It also manages to be the queerest and straightest Star Trek series at the same time.

Spiderverse! This movie was so absolutely bomb. I need to eat it again.

Entergalactic was similarly fucking GORGEOUS but followed a fairly standard, sweet romance. The characters were good and the music was REALLY good but it's the animation, man. That shit is such eye candy and will stick with me for a while I think.

Midnight Mass was very enjoyable. Excellent cast, excellent dialogue, my fav died first but that's just how it is for me

I honestly adored First Kill and am sad it got cancelled. It wasn't great media exactly but it was so fun and messy and I dig that lol. Calliope and her mom owned the whole show

The Boys is absolutely off the walls insane and even if the story weren't that great (it is, especially in later seasons) just the amount of bullshit that happens in it makes it a fun watch. EXTREMELY graphic and nsfw though. Like extremely, unapologetically, and unappealingly. In the Roberto way. You understand.

I've fallen out of love with it a bit, but Stranger Things season 1 will never not be incredible TV to me. Kind of in a similar way to Mob psycho. Eleven is my little child.

I used to be very into LOST and want to rewatch it at some point honestly, kid me was blown tf away and it introduced me to some very cool concepts of storytelling even if it went way off track lmfao

I have been fan of Hogwarts Legacy. Of course with the spark of creating our own character OC, it filled new door of imagination of Hogwarts and Wizarding life.

Which I want to include myself but.. as introvert..you know..introvert..

I dont know how lol since I am not good in community because I feel foreign over it.

Also as I mostly the one who watch, read, and see, part of me feel envious the creativity all of the fandom has and how advanced they are. Especially those who can draw.. damn your beautiful, awesome hand artist!!! (take it in good way, kay? ahaha) Also those who can write damn I missed my brain when it able and have the will to do that.

So in here I actually want to share my OC as well in Hogwarts legacy. But a note, I dont play it in PC so I dont have any mods to make my own character really ideal as I want it. I cant draw, like really cant. I also dont do fanfic anymore.. I think my will not over to the point writing by myself anymore. i still love write but...for roleplay which with character and you know..the AI's lol.

I know I actually can ask friend or commission for my OC but I dont have money for that.. hiks.

What does the character looks like: Yellow tan skin, wavy black hair in shoulder length and side-parted bangs, light gray eyes colour,

Her hobbies: Listening musics (at the moment doesnt have any particular genre, depends on her mood what kind of music she likes to listen), taking care of the beasts, learning charming and dueling spells, chilling with the beasts or animals

Dislikes: Insects, unfaithful peoples, animals abusers

Her wand: Alder wood, phoenix core, 12,5 length

Her father is pureblood British. An alumni of Hogwarts, a Ravenclaw. He is a magician historian around the world. His interest over variation over what kind of magic around the world made him traveling and researching while making book about it.

One time he arrived at Indonesia. At 1800, Indonesia was colonized. Some of the people learned about foreign language, which the elites, while some of them not. But certainly foreign countries passed by and entered Indonesia for trade in some ways.

Her father research was magic in Indonesia. One of them he had heard about its black magic and the person called as Dukun. That made him encounter an Indonesian lady who was an elite family. But her family was unique because she was born from witchcraft family who has been working as Dukun from generation to generation. Her family was a Dukun of one of the empire that had been famous in the past where Indonesia had empire before western came in. Even it is not famous or known at the period he came, but the practice still being used hiddenly.

*Dukun is an Indonesian term for shaman. Their societal role is that of a traditional healer, spirit medium, custom and tradition experts and on occasion sorcerers and masters of black magic. The dukun is the very epitome of the kejawen or kebatinan belief system indigenous to Java. Very strong and ancient beliefs of animism, ancestor worship and shamanism are held by the people of the Nusantara. While medical doctors and revivalist Islam and Christianity have caused a decrease in the prominence of dukun, they remain highly respected and somewhat feared figures in Indonesian-Malay society, even in the most orthodox Muslim-dominant areas. In the pre-colonial past, dukun were exempt from paying taxes, as with Hindu priests and Buddhist monks.*

Her mother was a Dukun who lived as an elite because of the history of such professionalism toward supernatural and traditional medicine and also granted with such gift of traditional skills of supernatural. Her magic although known hiddenly like that, but at the front, her job was just a herbalist and masseus who also yes, born from an elite family and able to connect and learned other foreigner.

The difference culture, magic and she herself made her father and her mother eventually caught each other interest. She also just knew about the new magic outside her country after all. Time and days passed and eventually as well, they became together.

They choose to raise family in his country, the wizarding world in UK. Although sometimes, they also went back to Indonesia since they also have their own house there and her family as well still in there. They were blessed with two daughter and decided they will let them learned magic through Hogwarts.

So Putri Lita is learning magic mostly influenced with UK but still feel foreign because she also learning her own mother magic as well.

Following the Hogwarts legacy; her magic was blooming late and even slow but it was there but not that strong. In her story, she did get the letter from Hogwarts at 12. But something crucial and traumatizing her made her mentally and physically unable to do magic after she got the news. So for about 2 years, she went into state of rehabilitation and got back her own magic and strength and study about it as well, easy to say kind of homeschooling in wizarding way. And in this case, Professor Weasley knew about it. All by the help of her older sister and father and also mother. At 15 her magic is clear and can be seen that she is a wizard. Professor Weasley then gave her another chance to entered Hogwarts at 5th year. Before entered the schools, for about 6 month as well Professor Fig knew and helped her magic as well.

And her life of adventure begin in Hogwarts at 5th year there.

And that is all for now about her!!

I still not make perfectly well and maybe there is flaw here and there. I dont make the family that detailed but maybe one day I will share briefly about them!

Hmm, she didn't feature on many songs, but I've enjoyed the ones she did- "Two is Better than One" is a fave too. I was watching the mv "Highway Don't Care" she did w/ Tim McGraw & Keith Urban- interesting that in video that their reflections on broken mirror are featured- reminded me how she used it in Style mv later. I like listening to The Town by Niall Horan with it (Highway theme, lol).

Regarding re-recordings- others tried like Def Leppard in '11 (dispute with UMG^^) & Prince (who had 17 records)- but I heard it just made the originals more valuable. So for some it was a mix opinion if TS should bother with the cost or effort.
