So turns out I didn't watch the whole round 6 and left immediately when I saw the credits. We see hyuna and the gang in the end. Hyuna, our hero who saved Mizi in the earlier round is clearly injured and nowhere near the stage. Are you telling me there was hope. Are you telling me there was a chance Ivan could've been saved. Are you telling me it's a was now and no longer an is.

I will now list my favorite things about each S5 episode, I'll list one thing to keep it short

 1.finding out Fu met Ladybug and Cat Noir in the past. It could have been anyone who helped him that day in "Origins", but he always knew it would be them.

2.Adrien attempting to greet Marinette with a kiss on the cheek. It's normal for Parisians(and others I imagine) but for a lot of us it tends to only happen with people you feel the most comfortable and closest to.

3.Marinette actively being the image of stress and responsibility piled onto one young person as she tries to think ahead and plan for the worst possible outcome.

4.Ladybug checking Mr. Damocles pocket in hopes there really is a clue to Monarch's location.

5.The cafeteria identity reveal, it was chaotic gold *chefs kiss

6.Luka purposely trying to make Adrien jealous to get him to realize his feelings for Marinette.   ufvbhgfvbnjhgv!!! XD

7.Nathalie accepting Emelie's blessing to be a mother to Adrien.

8. The miraculous ancestor making their official debut into the show.

9. Marinette being open about her frustrations and telling everyone its unfair she be the only one who shouldn't love whomever she wants.

10. Alya and Zoe becoming the new(but still temporary) holders of the ladybug and cat miraculous.

11.Adrien unknowingly defying his father and taking back the ladybug earrings from him.

12.Everyone adding their phone numbers to Kagami's contacts so she knows they are all there for her.

13.Luka's vision shifting back and forth between viewing Marinette and Adrien as civilians and heroes.

14. Sabrina gradually realizing that Chloe has no respect for her.

15.Marinette making the effort to not fall back into her old habits, but still struggling none the less cause its hard.

16.Adrien switching to his pajamas so Marinette doesn't feel embarrassed about showing up to the mansion in her pajamas.

17. Marinette being considerate of Zoe's feelings while giving her a proper rejection.

18.Amalie realizing that the rich people she spent her whole life trying to please and fit into is filled with terrible people who don't care about her or her family.

19.Marinette standing up to Gabriel and not taking any of his smack talking, she was ruthless and it was glorious.

20.Lila collecting blackmail, she's evil, but man is she good at it.

21. Lila finally being exposed as a liar, I've waited 80 years(not really) for this very moment.

22. Adrien being rebellious and talking back to his dad, with mom-I mean Nathalie fully supporting him. Him saying bye to Nathalie and not Gabriel was a nice cherry on top.

23. Marinette refusing to let Chloe belittle and hurt her once again.

24. Adrien's nightmare and him still retaining that nightmare. The chaos, the desperation, the drama, holy smokes it was awesome. (I like chaos)

25 and 26. All of it.....all of it

MORE Ivan angst

OOC: okay yeah. I KNOW ive tortured him enough with "The Confession of Ivan Goncharov" and "Likeable, but not Lovable" but come ON.

Anyways today's angst story is named "Standing Up Too Fast" :3

Uhh dizziness... hallucinations... religious imagery... blood... yeah! Stuff like that

1st person POV !

I was sat down. I was utterly exhausted, extremely tired. I had completed all of master's chores in quick time today. He was going to arrive earlier and I did not have as much time to complete my tasks that day.

As I moved around a few things on the table, I could see a figure in the corner of my eye. I did not bother to turn to it; this had happened too many times before, to the point it had no effect on me. I was unfazed.

Until it called out my name. Basically screaed it into my ear. Of course, that made me jolt, and I got up from my seat.

I stood up too fast.

I recognized it quickly. When I thought I heard a voice and it made me jump up from my seat. When my body started to lightly sway, back and forth, before my legs gave out and I fell back into my seat.

I stood up too fast.

I recognized it when my vision started to go black, before it came back to me. Even then, I could start to see little dots of color begin to shroud my vision. My skin was paler than usual and I could feel myself start to sweat. Was my blood sugar going low?

I stood up too fast.

I tried to stand again. My vision was beginning to go black yet again. My eyes were wide open and I was trying not to let my eyelids droop shut. I was trying not to let myself relax and fall. I could barely stand, I was holding onto random furniture for dear life as I tried to find someone- anyone- to help.

I stood up too fast.

What would I even say? Would I be able to get a word out? I wasn't sure. I was too tired to think. I wanted to sleep but I couldn't; master needed me. Master did everything for me. And yet I couldn't think of any time where I felt safe to go to him for these kinds of situations.

I stood up too fast.

I stood up too fast when I first met him. I accepted his offer too quickly. I believed he was the only thing that could make me happy. I love master. I can't leave him. But I accepted his offer too quickly. I stood up because I believed he was a messenger from God, that he was the Father, that he was the Son and an ally of the Holy Spirit. He was not.

I stood up too fast.

And now I'm too weak to walk.

People always think that Alfred’s gonna be the one who gets diabetes due to the amount of fast food and soda he consumes.

Little do they know that the one really at highest risk for diabetes is Ivan.

First of all this man is Russian and more importantly THE personification of Russia as a whole so this man absolutely loves himself some tea and cake like many of his people do.

In fact he still has an old Samovar his older sister gifted to him back in 1776 and still uses it when he wants some tea after a long afternoon of knitting.

(This is a samovar btw for my non-Slavic peeps)

If you’ve never seen a Russian afternoon tea set up it looks something like this

Very cute, very chill, there is always cakes and other good foods. Anyone who has tea with Ivan loves it and stays for the vibes and treats…until…Ivan serves himself…

This mans is a menace to all past, present and future dentists. He puts a MINIMUM of 6 sugar cubes and 3 spoonfuls of jam in his tea. If he’s feeling “adventurous” that day you’ll witness him do that plus milk and butter. Best believe he loves having his sugary cakes and pastries with his tea too and he is 2000% gonna dip his sugary treat in his sugary drink.

Even his sisters and Alfred get disturbed by his tea time habits cuz legit how the actual fuck has this man not fallen into a diabetic coma yet?

MLB Season 4 Character Analysis: "Penalteam"

Introduction

Hello everyone, I'm back with a new character analysis and this time it's episode 24. If this is your first time your seeing one of these posts, then here I look at the perspectives of the different characters in order to help others see what's going through their head to make them act the way they do.

So "Penalteam", the episode right before the two-part finale, we've come so far. This episode seemed to shove in a lot of heroes all at once due to which the characters didn't get enough time of their own to shine. I can kinda see why some people don't really like this episode but it still has characterization for 4 characters nonetheless and plus also Ladybug however small that characterization is, it's still significant enough to be mentioned in this post so let's get started.

Character POVs

Ladybug

"No need for a whole team, it's just Cat Noir and me against your clones. We're gonna be so awesome that you won't even see the ball. We're gonna win and de-akumatize you in no time."

We'll start with Ladybug, and from this episode we can see that she is trying to make Cat Noir feel like he's wanted by telling Penalteam that she doesn't need a whole team to beat her and that she and Cat Noir and her can defeat her themselves.

This shows that Ladybug has learned from last episode when Cat Noir communicated with her about his problems by telling her how useless he felt so Ladybug could come to the conclusion: oh no, Cat Noir is feeling useless, I should help him feel like he's wanted. Cat Noir may have solved his side of the miscommunication in that episode but Ladybug still needs to solve her side of the miscommunication but at least now the Cat Noir has done it, their relationship has been partly repaired. Ladybug will get there as well, she just needs face her Cat Blanc trauma by telling Cat Noir about it but it's not going to be easy.

2. Sabrina

"I'm sorry but I can't do that to Chloe."

Every one of the heroes introduced this episode had a mental obstacle they had to overcome and for Sabrina that was to reduce her platonic simping towards Chloe enough so that she can do the things she likes without the thought of what Chloe would think bothering her.

This was already kind of kickstarted in the New York Special when she developed a crush on the guy Delmar who encouraged her to come with him and let go Chloe a little bit but it didn't get enough focus due to lack of time in the special itself but now we get to do it again in this episode although it is once again being overshadowed by other things just like in the New York Special but at least this time we get to see a solid conclusion towards the end when Sabrina told Chloe that she wanted to play soccer instead of going with her. So that's progress for her.

3. Nathaniel

"It's just, I'm flattered Ladybug but I don't feel comfortable being on a team."

Now moving onto Nathaniel and his percieved discomfort of being part of a team and working with other people. We see this at the start of the episode where he tries to avoid playing soccer and made Marc make an excuse for him so that he doesn't have to come.

He tries to do it again with Ladybug when she offers him a Miraculous so that she doesn't have to work as part of a team until Ladybug made him realize how well he actually does by giving him the example of how he and Marc work together to write the Ladybug comics they do which encouraged Nathaniel to try and ended up enjoying it which changed his mind about wanting to play soccer by the end of the episode.

4. Marc

"Ladybug, I'm not really that good at soccer, I-"

Next, there's Marc with his lack of self-confidence which we've seen ever since his debut episode with him not believing that his writing was good even though he was amazing which is sort of similar to Marinette's problem of low self-esteem where she doesn't believe she is amazing and wanting to do everything she can to be perfect even though she already amazing.

Getting the Rooster Miraculous allowed Marc to have more faith in his abilities similar to how getting the Ladybug Miraculous helped Marinette have more faith in hers and in this case it helped him believe in his soccer skills which we've seen him with since the beginning of the episode. With some encouragement from Ladybug he was able to gain confidence and this most likely led to him completing his character arc.

5. Ivan

"What if I hurt someone with my superpowers?"

Finally we have Ivan's arc of learning to embrace his strength. Ivan has always been the gentle giant and due to this he was afraid of using his size and strength to hurt people due to which he has always held back.

In the soccer game when he was given the ball he became hesitant which gave the other team the advantage but when he was given a Miraculous by Ladybug the same fear returned but with Ladybug's encouragement he was able to face his fear and embrace his strength by using it for the greater good.

Conclusion

Sorry if these character POVs are very brief but the rushing of the episode didn't give it enough depth to make it that long. So now we just have the two-part finale left. Let me know if I should do "Risk" and "Strikeback" as one post called "Shadow Moth's Final Attack" or if I should do them separately like all these other episodes With that being said I'll see y'all next time.

“Kirkland” A low rumble floats through the room, the protective growl of a bear concerned for his mate. A fluffy paw bats at Arthur’s arm, shaking him from his half-unconscious state. 

“Kirkland” Another paw — no, those are arms — grasps at his other side. A warm hand settles on his forehead, the heat broken only by a thin band of coolness. A ring? It feels metallic. Who around him wears a ring?

“Kirkland, wake up,” Oh, he’d know that dull voice anywhere.

“Ivan, y’bastard, m’ try’n sleep” Arthur grumbles, batting halfheartedly at the arms around him. He manages to dislodge the heat from his head 

“Kirkland, it is 3:35” 

“Don’t matter. Don’t needa be up till 5” 

“Kirkland. 3:35PM”

“Oh FUCK” 

Arthur bolts upright, colliding into Ivan’s chest. Normally, being bodyslammed by a 40-something-odd man would have some effect, but the disparity in height and weight means that Ivan is not affected at all. Instead, it’s Arthur who is pushed back into the couch due to the force of his movement. It’s then that he realizes what is going on. 

Ivan stands next to the couch, leaning over so far that his face is practically parallel to Arthur’s. His hand still grips Arthur’s arm, staring down with concerned eyes. His other hand is raised, the wedding ring catching the sunlight in a way that sends silver streaks through Ivan’s hair. Right. The wedding ring. 

“Get off of me, you oaf,” Arthur grumbles, using his small size to wriggle out of Ivan’s arms and to the side, which unfortunately means falling flat on his face onto hardwood floor. 

Or he would have, had Ivan not caught the collar of his shirt and left Arthur suspended pitifully a few inches from the ground.

“What did you forget?” Ivan asks sternly. 

Arthur sighs. “To pick the kids up from school,” 

“Correct. You are lucky I did that for you,” Ivan uses his frankly absurd strength to place Arthur back onto the couch. 

“Thanks” Arthur mumbles, attempting to regain his composure. 

“What was that?” Ivan asks sternly. 

“Thank you” Arthur says loudly, scowling at nothing in particular.

“And,” Ivan says, gesturing to white plastic bags sitting on the ground. “I brought you food,”

“I don’t need food,” Arthur protests, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. 

“You’re passing out around noon daily. Do you know what most people do around noon?”

Arthur doesn’t respond, only giving Ivan a tired look. This isn’t the first time Ivan has tried this trick and it won’t be the last. Ivan ignores the look and takes out a white styrofoam cartoon, opening it up and letting the smell of Indian food waft throughout the room. And it does smell really really good, causing Arthur’s stomach to rumble. Unwilling to let Ivan win this, he turns away and bites on his lip. 

“Kirkland. Eat” Ivan shoves the container onto Arthur’s lap and okay fuck it does smell really really good. 

“Eat and I will let you sleep,” 

“Fineeeeeee” Arthur exhales. Ivan shoves a fork into Arthur’s hands and he takes a bite of the savory food. He can’t taste much, but his stomach appreciates it so so much. He scarfs down the rest of the plate as fast as he possibly can and sets the container to the side. 

“Sleep?” 

“Sleep” Ivan affirms. Arthur goes to lie down on the couch but is caught off guard when Ivan scoops him up bridal style. 

“Put me down, you oaf!” Arthur protests. Ivan doesn’t listen, walking to their room and tossing Arthur onto their shared bed. The reminder of Ivan’s pure strength brings unhelpfully lewd thoughts to Arthur’s mind as Ivan towers over him and he feels his heart rate skyrocket. What the fuck was wrong with him?

Ivan walks around to his side of the bed and clambers into the bed, the mattress creaking under his weight. Using one arm, he scoops up Arthur and places the smaller man onto his chest. 

“Sleep,”

Arthur has to admit, Ivan’s chest is very warm and-

His eyes fall shut.

A prime example of how things can be taken out of context, leading to a spread of misinformation.

Long ago I made a post explaining why Ladybug still gives out the charms despite Hawkmoth now being capable of destroying them. In short, this is how it went down in the fanbase after the majority of the people understood the message. 

Me: Despite Hawkmoth being capable of destroying them, simply giving the magical charms make people feel at ease as they now posses something to help protect them rather than be left with nothing at all. As they continue to witness akumatizations, the citizens know the charms may not work, but it still helps reduce the negativity in Paris when they have something to feel hopeful in. (read post here)

Me: No, the people know they wont stop the akumatizations, all akuma attacks are broadcasted on the news, so after “Dearest family” everyone knows that people can be re-akumatized.

Me: No, they’re not fake trinkets, they’re still REAL magical charms and the charms still help people despite not being as strong as Hawkmoths akumas, everyone knows this.

Midnight Snacks with Redacted Characters

• For all the grief he gives Angel for it, David does keep a single pack of instant ramen on standby in a location he refuses to disclose. He’ll dress it up a bit with a soft boiled egg, some frozen veggies, tofu, leftover meat, whatever he can find.

• Asher isn’t much of a cook, but if Baaabe is hungry in the middle of the night he loves to make some Nutella on toast.

• Milo doesn’t like waking up in the middle of the night as he’s super groggy, but if he and Sweetheart are hungry he’ll throw together some yogurt, berries, and granola before flopping back down.

• Vincent and Lovely don’t need sleep or human food anymore, but occasionally they both get a hankering for a midnight McDonald’s run. They always get it to go and eat outside.

• Sam constantly has to deal with Darlin’ rummaging through the pantry in the middle of the night like a damn raccoon. He won’t let them gorge themselves on chips, instead making them a packet of instant oatmeal before dragging their nocturnal ass back to bed.

• Gavin will never say no to a late-night 7/11 run, though in the interest of keeping Freelancer alive during the day, he’ll rift there himself and come back with whatever snacks they want (provided they’re not too caffeine/sugar laced).

• Avior loves cuddling Starlight throughout the night, content to stay awake and watch them sleep. If they wake up hungry, he’ll magic up some scrambled eggs on toast before cuddling them back down and using just the tiniest bit of dreamwalking magic to help them get back to sleep.

• Lasko tries to make sure he’s not hungry before bed but if he or his partner wake up hungry he’ll make a big mug of hot chocolate (or chocolate milk).

• Hux has a seemingly bottomless supply of granola bars that he keeps for snacks. He keeps a box in his nightstand as well, “Just in case.”

• Damien has a horrific habit of making a protein shake if he’s hungry in the middle of the night. Hux is trying to help him break it.

• Ollie has an undying love for leftover midnight pizza. He swears up and down midnight pizza hits different in a Michelin star way; Babe is convinced it’s the sleep deprived delirium talking.

• Aaron hates getting woken up by Smartass in the middle of the night so they go ninja-mode lifting themselves off his chest. They’ll usually just munch on some dry cereal right out the box before heading back to bed. Aaron secretly does the same thing and has yet to be caught drinking milk straight from the carton.

• Ivan likes having chai and cookies if he and Baby are hungry in the middle of the night. He’s a firm believer that warm drinks and cuddles make a happy, sleepy Baby.

• Elliott is that bitch who makes an entire box poptarts at 1AM. He’s not sorry and he is sharing.

• James likes to have apples and peanut butter for a late night snack. He tries not to eat anything too heavy that’ll slow him down in the morning.

• Anton loves some warm pumpkin soup for a midnight snack. It’s always homemade and he always keeps a little on standby just in case his partner needs it.

• Guy will gorge himself on candy in the middle of the night. Honey keeps finding his stashes but Guy just keeps finding new places to hide his Sour Patch Kids. Honey’d check for secret compartments in the drawers if they thought Guy had the handyman-ness for it.
