yknow i was thinking abt ulma and oli and well.... suna is so observant and loved the reader all these years LIKEJDKDJD ITS SOOOOO UGHHHJDJDJD !!!!!!!! i just wanted to know whether or not he’s the type to Just Remember (aka stored in his brain) things abt reader or does he whip up his Notes App to jot down stuff abt her like a dork 😭😭😭😭😭😭

tbh, i think i kinda made him OOC? because he's quiet, deadpan, and sorta there, i kinda made use of that and interpreted it as someone who can be observant at the same time.

i mean, he is one of the best middle blockers (wtf is his statistics, furudate? FIX IT!!! HE'S ON PAR WITH MY OG MANS - KUROO AND HIRUGAMI, AT BEST!) so obviously, he can't have such shit observational skills.

now back to the question:

suna, at least to me, seems to take note of everything and remembers the bare minimum.

however, when it came to reader, he just remembers things in perfect clarity.

a few months after their freshmen year, he noticed that reader no longer had her hair in low pigtails. he never asked, but he just thought that it was such a cliche hairstyle.

when asano joined and began styling reader's hair, suna's eyes would immediately dart to their direction, mesmerized by the transformation. there are some hairstyles reader's donned care of her junior, but suna would always like the pigtails the most

he knows she has motion sickness, so he volunteers to sit next to her right after the seniors graduated. when he can, he stores candies in his pocket to give to her. he never lets her sit by the window and makes sure that the curtains are drawn when she's about to sleep.

it wasn't written, but i was planning on a scene where the second years visited kita's farm and they met their dog. reader has a slight fear of dogs. suna finds this fear a little cute, until she shared why she's scared of them still.

so whenever they walk around and suna hears some barking, he walks by or in front of her to act as her shield. when they dated, he helped her get over her fear of them.

it was mentioned way back, but reader mentioned that she has to buy chunky kitkat for her little brother whenever the second years stopped by a convenience store. he asked if she liked them, to which she replied "i would be lying if i said i didn't". during valentine's, he bought one and planned to give it to her but would always be so shy and insecure that he ended up NEVER giving them.

on their first valentine's as a couple, he shyly handed over the kitkat to her. he keeps doing this even after they get married (hehe)

everything about reader, he stores in his brain.

at random, while he was trying to study, or, actually take down notes (cue gasp) he'd write down stuff that she did. for example, during practice she was humming a jingle, so he wrote down 'sing', or she was talking about oranges with one of her seniors, so he wrote 'oranges' with a badly doodle of her wearing those orange hats.

however, when no one was looking (and there was a snippet of this when she had a laughing fit with osamu), suna would take stolen shots of her. not in a creepy way! just her at her most natural - taking to the coaches, sitting by the benches, writing down on her notes, looking out the window during a bus ride. he practically has a folder of them. however, once he graduated and upgraded his phone, he deleted all the photos, wanting to forget his stupid little crush.

through his first years in EJP Raijin, it was a bit of relief to be free and slowly forget about his crush. sadly, little things would remind him of her: sunflowers, lemon slices, pigtails.

one time, while he was doing groceries, he happened the produce area and sort of froze, remembering that one summer he did a group study with osamu and the rest. without thinking, he purchased a bag of rice, even though he still had some at home.

the rice went to use, because a week later, she was introduced as the intern manager. during break, he awkwardly offered the rice. though surprised, she just laughed it off and accepted it.

the thing with suna, at least for me, is that he remembers. if you're someone special to him, you have a special place in his heart and a library of memories. not only on his mind, but also physically.

when reader moved in with him, it was mentioned in the last part of OLI that they have lots of photos - either of them, with family or friends.

When i said they love being touchy, yes that's so true. when it comes to cuddling or sleeping, they love hugging you from behind, holding you close as they just relax with you in their arms, they often fall asleep like this. but.. this could 100% lead to something other than just sleeping or cuddling.

This position was honestly perfect for them, being able to hold you so close while also being deep inside you. their lips are right next to your ear whispering sweet nothings as they grind their hips against your ass. their hands slipping up under your shirt to fondle with your chest, teasing your perked up nipples with their fingers as they thrust a bit faster, a bit deeper.

Minus the spooning, they love any other position where they can see your face. they love to watch your face scrunch up in pleasure as they continue their actions on your body. from missionary into a press is so hot for them, hearing you whine or moan louder as they press you into the mattress not allowing you to move. doing nothing more but shivering under them, the feeling of you clenching harder on them, grasping onto their shoulders or biceps brings a smile to their faces.

and nothing beats the look on your face and your noises when they release their loads inside you. if you can handle it, they'll for sure go more than just one round. the sight of their release and yours spilling out of you was too nice of an opportunity to pass up.

good evening everyone. i have decided that i need to write more, so ive made a list of ships/other platonic dynamics from genshin and hsr that i like, and i'll be writing some short blurbs about them over the next month or so

day 1: cyno x tighnari

tighnari quietly peered over the book he was reading, some 500 page tome about plants that nobody else in the house except himself understood. cyno stumbled into the living room, his red eyes dim with fatigue as he put his bag down beside the front door before going straight to tighnari, flopping down on the couch beside him and leaning his whole bodyweight against him.

tighnari put the book down onto his lap and brought one hand up to gently comb through cynos hair.

"rough day at work?"

"just very tedious. people are stupid sometimes," cyno muttered, sitting up to grab the tcg deck that he always kept on the coffee table. he quietly shuffled through the cards, arranging them on the table in different teams. tighnari could practically hear the gears turning in his head as he mulled over the best teams at his disposal, eventually pulling out a sketchbook and messily scribbling the shapes of a few exotic plants.

"how was your day?" cyno asked after a while, "hows that new class youre teaching?"

"its alright, i suppose," tighnari muses, eyes not leaving the page, "much less stuffy than the akademiya, thats for sure. less pretentious, too. i think itll turn out alright."

one of tighnaris ears twitched at the sound of quiet footsteps coming down the stairs. a timid collei crept into the room, eyes landing on cyno and tighnari. she nearly walked right back up the stairs, something the botanist had learned was a habit of hers from her old house, but tighnari softly called to her,

"hey, its alright. you can come down here if you want." he watched as the girls body language started to become more relaxed, and he began to relax as well. the past month had been quite rough on all of them, especially with the legal battles of getting custody of the 13 year old and putting her poor excuse for a father in prison. however, moments like these provided even the briefest moments of respite and glimmers of hope of a future that needn't be plagued with anxious tremors or jolting flashbacks of the past in the dead of night.

collei quietly made her way over to the couch, sitting on the side opposite to cyno and tighnari.

"how was your day, collei? did you do anything fun?" cyno asked, trading his tcg deck for a regular deck of cards and beginning to build a tower out of them on the coffee table.

"it was...good? im learning a lot of science-y stuff from mister tighnari," the girl mumbled quietly.

"your handwriting is getting quite good," tighnari said, glancing at her with a soft smile before returning to his sketches of plants that now littered the page in front of him, "almost better than cynos," he added with a chuckle.

cyno glared at him, adding another tier to his house of cards. "your handwriting is a slew of cursive, not much better than mine." tighnari elbowed him in the ribs, but cyno remained steady, and his tower of cards stayed upright.

"oh, by the way, what music were you playing in your room earlier?" tighnari asked.

"oh, i- uh," collei stuttered, "i can turn it down if you want. sorry if it was too loud..."

"no, it wasnt at all. it actually sounded familiar. i liked it a lot."

"oh. it was a lot of stuff from the 1950s, like," collei paused to remember the names of the artists, "nat king cole...frank sinatra...louis armstrong."

"i have a cd of frank sinatra in our bedroom," cyno mused as he added yet another tier to his card tower, "do you want to borrow it?"

"s-sure...by the way...is there any food in the kitchen i could use to cook? i didnt eat dinner earlier..."

"yeah, of course," tighnari said, already moving to get up.

"...i didnt have time to eat at work, either," cyno quietly said.

dogging on hs is a full time job and we're employees of the month 🤞 ntm on hs tho bc i will end up playing hs3 if it's ever released bc i need to see my li happy.

im new to rc so i can't say much about the writers but i think what you said does make a lot of sense. when new characters were introduced in hs2 it had the same tone as hs1. i would say there was a slight improvement bc astaroth and hunger were 10x more interesting than hs1 characters but the dialogue and their way of speaking was the same as hs1. like how do you pride yourself on being soo much better than mortals and speak exactly like them? why are you, as lucifer, speaking like a frat boy? make it make sense.

anyway, as opposed to hs, the immortals are actually different from mortals. lane noticing the lack of human warmth and emotions on cains face, despite how serene and aristocratic he looks right off the bat immediately showed us that they're not easily understood and they operate differently than humans. and the dialogue flows so much more naturally in hsr and different characters have their own distinguished way of speaking. (interesting that cain sometimes speaks so formally like during the church scene, but at other times uses mortal slang. just how long has he been roaming around earth?)

tbh now that ive analyzed the flying scene, he does seem somewhat sincere and like you said, they're both only looking out for themselves so they have a sense of kinship. (also love that lane is so unbothered about saving humanity or whatever and specifically said shes only going to translate what she needs... im obsessed with her)

but is it insane of me to hope that he's just being nice for the sake of using her? ive been ranting to everyone who would listen about how much i adore the church scene, it was the exact balance of unsettling and sensual, psychedelic and dreamlike. it had so much tension and i loved how cain was portrayed in it. but he's being suspiciously sweet and protective of her, cute, but i miss the tension 😭 he and lane are some of the most interesting characters ive seen in a while and id hate for them to lose everything that makes them unique to a generic romance so early.

what about your theories on how they could've known each other earlier? and what do you think about cain's past?

it really is just in the book's nature i think because if you look at the massive growth of alice's writing between hs1 and hs2, it's wild how the writing for hs2 still isn't that much better except in certain areas (hunger is masterfully written, for example, and the emo vibe was captured pretty well too since alice is an angst grandmaster)

like heaven's secret is simply, intrinsically, a haphazard low-quality story - because that was the foundation in hs1 and so it's only natural hs2 and hs3 will be the same. and i'm not hating on it when i say that because i definitely get why some people love it but as someone who's a bit of a snob and doesn't like harry potter vibe stories, it's just not for me

i'm living for your thoughts and analysis of hs:r though omg i didn't catch on to cain's manner of speech swinging between formal and informal, that's so interesting?? but YES overall i'm also hoping that we'll get more of the intensity we got with the church scene and that the dark undertone to their dynamic will prove to be an actual Theme and not just a one-off thing. i would actually GRIEVE if cain's route devolved into basic lovey dovey shit 😭

when it comes to cain's past and his history with lane, i... have no clue tbh like that's just how good the suspense is. generally i'm expecting cain to be somehow tied to the event/entity/power that caused lane's memory gap because her dreams are clearly very significant and she dreams of him at the start of the book + that could be the reason why she got so woozy in the church scene instead of him seducing her with his power, because of whatever tie that binds them through that. but we know so little about him and his motivations that it's hard for me to theorize anything about his past. i adore pre-established dynamics though so i honestly think we're in for some juicy shit regardless of our theories. i can't wait!!!

ive been thinking of one of the batbros with memories of aventurine because. okay so yknow birdwatchers the discord server. i took a word cause its my birthday word (which is starting to be soon) but the original idea i had for it isnt getting the brainworks going so i wanted to mix it with my recent fixation which is aventurine (well actually hes starting to get a little old since ive been sitting on this idea for awhile but hHH)

but THEN i felt like i actually had a decent idea so now im sharing it to you because. i dunno. i dont really feel like i can do it justice? write it well??? (itd be my first hsr work LMFAO)

so uh. spoilers for dick's backstory, as well as 2.1 penacony. ALSO Danganronpa 2 because comparisons (also that anime with dr2 cast i dont remember the name)

aventurine as dick (slowly getting memories over time) (like child. kakavasha. teen/adult, aventurine.)

his luck has him notice the tampering of the wire whatever it was called that led to his parents death. he tries to tell them, they dont believe him. hes lucky enough to be the survivor. (think… you know that one oracle i think apollo blessed/cursed?? cant remember if it was first blessed but then something happened and then cursed or if it was at the same time. she could tell the future except no one would ever believe her.)

he has memories of space travel. of people outside in space. hes shocked to find theres no interaction of the IPC here, theres been no sign of life outside of this planet 'Earth' (..and was it really such a strange thought to imagine that 'aliens' could look just the same as them..? he wrinkled his nose at the ugly green thing with wide eyes. it was unnerving.)

he finds signs of a 'space enjoyers!' or whatever club and he goes and they're just like 'what are you talking about? its all just. fiction.. even we know that.'

i cant remember what year it takes place in and if the moon landing has happened yet (or what year hsr is in but i imagine far far in the future)

I dont really know how aventurine's luck works. and. i. honestly have not been paying too much attention throughout the story. my one exception was penacony, aventurine was the SOLE reason i paid attention in penacony ive only played up to 2.1 (thats not because he faked his death, its more that my recent-est fixation now is fanfiction because penacony has so much stuff going on it hurt my brain that i took a break) cause hes lucky but he gets. branded.. maybe its like nagito's but his is confusing too? (nagito is the ultimate lucky student in danganronpa 2, which is basically a talent that person has)

remember in the anime i think he got hit by a truck or something. or maybe that was after. he got hurt, went to like the vending machine, it dropped all of its drinks for him (so good luck), and then maybe it was after he got hit by a truck. uh

that's fair! in general there are times i feel like redesigns can be better than the official designs (some great nilou redesigns come to mind).

understandable, i was playing genshin a lot less frequently when i started playing hsr and even that made me feel overwhelmed with getting caught back up even though i didn't quit entirely. it's really a shame how hard it is to get back into it If you stop playing for a while... i hate the reliance on fomo so much. i really like how in hsr you can play a lot of events later if you missed them.

despite all my protests i completed the hoyoverse triangle and have been playing impact. it took a little while but i like it. i do wake up and wonder when i am going to play hi3 in the day. its a little treat to have so much story to play while waiting on hsr and i do not forsee myself putting it on hold for fontaine either given the paimon of it all in that mess.

honestly i think any sensical/viable ship i will likely vibe with too given how everyone interacts. unfortunately i now want a bunch of characters and costumes.

im at chapter 11 and enjoying it despite not being the biggest fan of bronya's kits. i need elysia like i need to breathe. i just wish it didnt take until the reveal of herrscher of the void/chapter 9 for me to be truly hooked because... well yknow.

anyway the music in this game is INSANE and i will be learning more than half the vocal tracks i'm sure. ive already been teeting around with nightglow and befall (and da capo... i watched the forest capriccio concert so ive heard more of the songs)

Hello, hello~

To be completely honest, the main reason I’ve been able to advance in the game so fast is because I’ve been sick and resting - so no class nor work for me - which means I’ve had a lot of time to do nothing other than playing. It’s partially why I’ve been able to reach lvl 36 in under a week, compared to Genshin where it took me almost twice the time to do so;;

When it comes to mats, I’ve set up a bit of a system for myself!

UTC because it got… really, really long - I did not think this game would have me this excited, alas here we are - almost 760 words of me just rambling about it…

I try getting exactly what I need rather than grinding and hoarding as many mats for the future; if I need, let’s say, 3 character ascension materials then I’ll set the rewards to get me exactly 3 mats!

Since I’m at Equilibrium lvl 2 and only have until lvl 3 to set, I know I’ll be getting 2-3 drops per round, so I’ll set it to use exactly the needed amount of Trailblaze Powder so as to not waste it.

I’ve also used up a lot, and I mean a lot, of the Trailblaze Fuel, which means I haven’t had to wait as much time to have the Trailblaze Powder filled up again.

Then there’s the local shops for each location, you have them in Herta’s Space Station, Jarilo-IV, and the Xianzhou Luofu! They use unique world currency that you have to get via quests and progressing through the story, but they have a lot of materials for both Light Cones and Character Ascension! There’s also the rewards you get from spending a certain amount in each shop where they give you Stellar Jade, Wrap Tickets, and other materials.

Another pretty good way to level up your characters fast is to claim the Level up rewards Pom-Pom gives, some of the drops are Trailblaze Fuel, Travel Guide, Adventure Logs, Refined Aether, Condensed Aether, Wrap Tickets, etc.

Then there’s the classic Embers Exchange (the little blue things you get from the Wraps), where you’ll get Trace and Light Cone ascension materials from 4-12 Embers, this resets each month so you have plenty of time to get them!

Other than that, I tend to work on all the characters at once when it comes to leveling them up and ascending them; I don’t prioritize my main team from the others, though I tend to treat my favorite characters a little better, I don’t know if that has helped me much but I thought I might add it? I do tend to try and always have all my characters at a certain ATK and ascension level - mostly because the game relies a lot on having different characters with different paths and elements. I kind of, just click add and see if I have enough for them to reach the next level, lol.

I do tend to neglect Relics a lot, mostly since I can’t really get the five star sets yet and I’d rather wait until I can get my hands on the good stuff than waste my resources on something that I’ll be replacing, so I can’t give much advice for them (T^T);; I tend to mostly use the ones I get from chests and completing quests/missions but it’s worked quite well so far!

These are all my tips and reminders for material compiled into a list:

1) Don’t hoard yet! Try getting only what you need, that way you’ll save Trailblaze Powder and grind for different materials.

2) World Shops are your best friends, they’re a quick way to get your hands on materials and give you rewards the more you spend on them.

3) Don’t be too afraid of using your Trailblaze Fuel, it’s there for you to use!

4) Some characters are easier to grind for, some are harder - some use the same materials as others, some will be the only character that needs a certain material: make a mental (or physical) list of characters that have similar materials and choose who to level up first and if you’ll grind for both of them or not.

5) Learn to prioritize what talents/cones/characters you want, even with all of what I’ve said; there will be times a character will be slightly behind, that’s okay - just focus on having fun and on the ones you’ll use the most.

6) Do both the Simulated Universe and Hall of Echos, if I had to pick one I’d recommend Herta’s SU since it gives weekly rewards for points and hands out EXP and materials as well, it also doesn’t use Trailblaze Power so you’re free to do it as many times as you wish.

7) The game is incredibly generous, it’s not afraid to give you materials the more you progress in the story and levels.

Hope this helps;; it’s kind of (very) long but I racked my brain to give as many tips as possible!

I played Genshin Impact once in 2021 but I stopped playing it since I'm not good at playing RPG stuff and if I go somewhere scary like higher places, I often be careful not to fall... T_T

I am currently playing Honkai Star Rail (And I like it because it's a tactical RPG one, which is pretty okay for me) but I uninstalled it temporarily because the download is really huge.

ahh this is so awesome to hear! with my analysis-esque threads I always hope I can help people have a better understanding of the characters and/or their story. Picking up stuff lost in translation (as ive been trying to do as well) is honestly something I really hope people will point out because I really want to see what I’ve missed due to me only speaking english&italian(which isn’t even available in hi3).

if you need any help going down the rabbit hole I’m always willing to help. When I started playing I read the comics in a sort of timeline-chronological order beforehand but sometimes it doesn’t work with comics like Alien space that are a sequel to in-game events
