I don't know if you do this, but you're a big blog so it feels worth asking? One of my classmates' family are trying to flee Gaza but their gofundme has only had 5 donations, if you could boost it I'd be forever grateful. https://www.gofundme.com/f/u9gd5-help-us-relocate-to-a-safe-place?utm_campaign=p_cp+fundraiser-sidebar&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer

Anyone able to match my donation? Either fully or partially –remember, even small donations add up! They're still very low on funds, and one of the family members is in need of urgent medical treatment for their cancer diagnosis.

I’m offering pen-and-paper sketches in exchange for proof of donation to Palestinian gfm campaigns and/or donations to reliable organisations that will provide aid, esims etc.
The more we can help nudge up these urgent campaigns to help people the better!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For more examples of my pen-and-paper sketches check out my #nerua doodles tag
Here’s how it works:
🔴 Make a donation (whatever you can offer, any amount however big or small is better than nothing at all!!) to a Palestinian family’s campaign, or one of the many reliable organisations providing aid, e-sims etc.
A quick non-exhaustive list of useful links you can use to donate:
Operation Olive Branch - Spreadsheet of many, many gfm campaigns tracking how much is needed.
This Tumblr Masterpost - Lists a good number of fundraisers, some of which are close to completion, and others which need much more boosting
GazaFunds - If it’s overwhelming trying to choose who to donate to, this page generates a random campaign each time for you
GazaEsims - Buy an esim to keep Palestinians connected in Gaza. Be sure to send the QR code screenshot to their provided email address and don’t activate the esim yourself!
CareForGaza - A non-profit charity providing aid to Gaza. Donate to their PayPal
UNRWA - Donate directly to UNRWA to support their operations in Gaza
Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund - Donate directly to PCRF to support the children in Gaza
Gaza Municipality - Donate to help improve water, waste management and sewage treatment conditions in Gaza
(other Palestinian family gfm links I’ve come across will be added under a cut at the bottom of this post, please check them out too and feel free to add any others you have seen to reblogs of this post!)
🟢 Take a screenshot of the receipt/proof of donation you receive once you’ve completed payment to prove that you have paid your chosen amount
⚪️ Message me your screenshot proof of your completed donation/payment to whichever campaign/organisation you chose along with what character(s) you would like a sketch of (be sure to let me know the fandom in case it’s not one I’m familiar with. You can drop a reference image along with your donation screenshot to be sure!)
⚫️ I’ll draw up the sketch for you as soon as I can to thank you for donating!
All donations of any size will receive a drawing, but be advised smaller donations will be quicker and less detailed/refined than larger donations.
Donations below $20 will receive a bust or waist shot. Donations $20 and over will be full body
Up to 3 characters available per sketch at any amount
I’ll draw for most fandoms, but here are a few I’m pretty familiar with: Red Dwarf, BBC Ghosts, Good Omens, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, YuGiOh, Pokemon, Tokyo Mew Mew, Cardcaptor Sakura (any CLAMP work tbh), Mob Psycho 100, Osomatsu-san, Naruto
I’ll also draw OCs if you send good references for them!
My usual commission/request limitations apply: No gore, NSFW etc
Bear in mind these function like character requests and aren’t as specific as full commissions, though I will try to honour general requests for what you would like from your sketch!
🚨🚨 Do NOT send ME your money!! Send it directly to the campaigns/organisations!! 🚨🚨
Please share and donate whatever you can if you are able to. And as always keep boycotting, protesting and talking about Palestine 🇵🇸
And remember to add your daily clicks too!
Some more gfm links below the cut ⬇️⬇️⬇️

My dear friends,
I am Rami Al-Jabour from Gaza, married, and we have two children, Mustafa (13 years old) and Tala (10 years old).
Our life has been filled with wonderful moments, and my children are excellent students. We have always aspired to build a bright future befitting of them.
We always shared moments of fun together, and contemplated their dreams of becoming important individuals in their world.
But sadly, the war came, destroying all their dreams, our ambitions, and our beautiful times.
Starting from losing my job, I found myself unable to provide for my family's needs amidst the war.
Our home, like most in Gaza, suffered significant damage from the intense airstrikes that hit civilians everywhere.
Our lives became desperate, subjected to all kinds of shock and hardship, and we lost our sense of security.
We constantly fear death at any moment. You can imagine how awful that feels, losing your sense of safety in your own homeland and fearing for your family's lives and well-being.
Who can restore our lost lives? We, as humans, dream of a bright future where our innocent children can enjoy security.
Therefore, we need to travel and escape the genocide, to compensate my children for the months they endured fear and oppression, and for them to become like other children in the world.
I humbly reach out to you seeking your support in helping us travel and providing for my family until I can regain employment, rehabilitate our home, and secure a safe and stable future for them.
Your contribution, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in our lives. Let's work together to ensure a better life for my children (Mustafa and Tala) and to build a bright future for them.
May God bless you and grant me the patience and strength to face life's challenges and protect my small family.

Khan Yunis witnesses one of its bloodiest days yet as Israel’s crime of genocide continues to unfold [23 Jul 2024]
The atrocities committed by the Israeli army against civilians in the Strip over the past nine months are well-documented and carried out consistently. These crimes include killing, mass murder, starvation, blocking the entry of humanitarian aid, forced evacuation, destruction of civilian objects, and the denial of any kind of stability, as has been the case in Khan Yunis since this morning (22 July 2024). Such actions indicate that the occupation army is essentially destroying the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in every way that it can. Every time there is talk of returning to the negotiating table to reach a truce and an exchange agreement, the Israeli army purposefully increases the number of massacres and mass killings of Palestinian civilians. This raises concerns that Israel is engaging in political blackmail by using the killing and displacement of civilians as a tool of pressure, as it has done repeatedly in recent weeks.
[...]
Residents and displaced people sheltering in the following towns were given evacuation orders from the Israeli army: Bani Suhaila and its surroundings; Abasan al-Kabira and al-Jadidah and its surroundings; al-Qarara and its surroundings; al-Fukhari and its surroundings; Khuza’a and its surroundings; al-Qurain; al-Manara; al-Salam; Jurat al-Lot; Qizan al-Najjar; Sheikh Nasser; al-Mahatta; al-Satar; and al-Katiba. This coincided with the Israeli army’s declaration that the so-called “humanitarian zone” in Al-Mawasi would be reduced. This was all part of Israel’s media disinformation campaign and psychological warfare tactics, since military assaults on forcibly displaced people and their tents have occurred continually in this area for several weeks now, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries. Out of the 10 residences for which preliminary information was available since the 7:30 a.m. start of the Israeli military operation on Khan Yunis, the Euro-Med Monitor field team recorded the Israeli army bombing six homes on the heads of their occupants. Seventy citizens were killed and over 200 others were injured, many of whom were women and children, as a result of the Israeli bombing. Two of the deceased victims were infants, while several families were taken off the civil registry, including the Jabour and Harb families. In addition to aerial bombardment and shooting from quadcopter aircraft, the Israeli army employs direct and indiscriminate artillery shelling against civilians. This has resulted in a high death toll, with many victims remaining trapped under the rubble and in the streets, where rescue workers have not been able to retrieve their bodies. Israel also deliberately targeted two civil defence paramedics, who were injured while ambulance crews in Bani Suhaila were attempting to evacuate other injured people.

Khan Yunis witnesses one of its bloodiest days yet as Israel’s crime of genocide continues to unfold
Tumblr media
Palestinian Territory - The Israeli army has killed 70 Palestinians and wounded 200 others, mostly children and women, in less than 12 hours in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of civilians have received new evacuation orders in the area.
These latest crimes come as part of Israel’s genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, ongoing since 7 October 2023.
The Israeli army launched dozens of raids, fire belts, and artillery shelling on homes, streets, and gatherings of displaced people.
After carrying out a premeditated mass murder this morning, the Israeli army launched dozens of raids, fire belts, and artillery shelling on homes, streets, and gatherings of displaced people. Thousands of these people fled into the streets in a panic, looking for a safe place that did not exist.
Israeli forces entered the town of Bani Suhaila amid very violent bombardment, even though the Israeli army had said in its orders that the displacement was going to be temporary. This constitutes a kind of deception of the residents—large numbers of whom were not able to evacuate as a result of the bombing, or had not attempted to before it began because they estimated that the attack was a series of air strikes as opposed to a ground incursion. (On the first of this month, the Israeli army issued similar displacement orders but only carried out intense air strikes without a ground incursion).
Two Palestinian Red Crescent clinics were forced to close due to the aerial bombardment, and several health centres experienced disruptions as a result of the forced displacement orders.
Given these facts, all nations must fulfil their international obligations by enacting strong sanctions against Israel and severing all political, financial, and military support and cooperation with it. This should include immediately halting arms transfers to Israel, including export permits and military aid; otherwise, these nations will be held accountable for the crimes that have been committed in the Gaza Strip, including genocide.
Furthermore, accountability must be established at the local, regional, and global levels. Working diligently and cooperatively to pave the way for universal jurisdiction will enable national courts to hold accountable the perpetrators of the egregious crimes being committed against Palestinian civilians.
Additionally, the International Criminal Court must continue to investigate any and all crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip; broaden its investigation into the criminal responsibility of all parties, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant, in order to hold all perpetrators accountable; issue arrest warrants for those responsible; and acknowledge and address Israel’s crimes in the Strip as international crimes that fall under the purview of the International Criminal Court, and are clearly crimes of genocide.
